Reimagining the 1997 offering of Belgian pair Hand’s Burn, Shadow Child turns ‘Good Shot’ into a track that resonates with his theme of worlds beyond. Helmed by an authentic bassline that synergizes perfectly with the perpetual arpeggios and cosmic chords, ‘Good Shot (Mercury)’ has fans throwing their hands to the stars from start to finish.

The unmistakable Skatebård classic “The Bells of Mist” has received special remix treatment by Bård’s friend and co-conspirator Lauer. Twice! Accompanying the original are two new takes on the tune, stirring up the heavy grit of the original with some complimentary upbeat melodic rhythms. “Lauer Flute Mix” is a punched up house version with melodic keys and a spacey backdrop, enhancing the playful elements of the track. The “Marshall Mix” adds a distorted gritty touch topped off with classic piano riffs. Together with the memorable dubbed-out disco tune “Farver/Flimrer” also found on CDIII, this release reunites us with two Skatebård hard-to-find-on-wax originals and hot interpretations by Lauer. Naarm alchemists Sleep D's revelatory new synthetic 'Electronic Arts' is ready for circulation.

Having released 4 EPs of mind-altering club tackle since 2019's 'Rebel Force', the duo overcome second album syndrome, boiling down their chaos with a more developed sense of songwriting. Never banging one drum, 'Electronic Arts' mirrors the anything goes mania of their DJ sets, tactfully shifting through different sounds and styles. Tempos intensify and decelerate, at times pushing the threshold to 150 bpm from docile canine dreamscapes to full tilt Space Invaders in AR mind games.

Largely built on road tested material from their live performances, the album is a tangible Butter Sessions gathering, busting out the gate with Martian rave initiation Planet Waves, Outdoor System's polyrhythmic beatdown and the Orb-like hero dose affirmations of Sunrise In The Crater (I Exist). While 'Electronic Arts' is otherwise a self-dependent effort, Punch Drunk is brewed ever more potent by the hypnagogic vocals and lucid trumpet cycles of former futsal team member YL Hooi. Their unified energy incidentally manifests a profound matrix of ambient techno, motorik, Don Cherry and Everything But the Girl.

Also touching on apocalyptic doof and minimal, the album is not exclusively peak time with Maryos Syawish and Corey Kikos' specialty curveballs also playing their part. From Village To Empire finds the duo rooting down in Syawish's heritage with a tapestry of purposefully deployed Iraqi and Syrian ethnographic samples and field recordings, dubbed within range of Muslimgauze and On-U Sound. As minimal techno finale Textile trails off into footsteps wandering back to base camp with a satisfied exhale, one wonders where Sleep D's existential pathfinding could possibly take us next?

Alex Silvi also known as Alien Signal is an Italian composer who profoundly tasted the creation and evolution of electronic dance music. He grew his music interest during the late 80s in Belgium under the strong ascendancy of key venues such as La Rocca, Boccaccio, and Fuse. Consequently moving to Rome in the early 90s where the techno scene was flourishing. In 1992 released on Upland Recordings, managed by S.Paganelli author of Defcon 5 And Altitude, the album "Alien Signal" - "The Search Begins" including the track called "Atomic", which very soon became one of the anthems for the Roman techno hood of that time. Superluminal Recordings is honored to guide you through trance-progressive themes of evangelical nostalgia. "Circularity" induces inner meditation due to melancholic strings and slow-descending ethereal scenarios, fresh-tasting melodies blended into soft-decaying instrumental charm. All compositions have been re-collected from an early 90s Alien Signal archive.

Tunik lands on Dekmantel with his distinctive strain of jacking drum machine electro-techno. The Barcelona-based, Argentina-born artist first emerged in 2020 with a standout EP and collaborative spot for Nicolas Lutz’s My Own Jupiter label before notching up a release with Furthur Electronix, and now his emotionally-charged sound spreads its wings once more.

A New Dawn lands somewhere between original 80s synth-pop, the noirish allure of early 00s electro and sleek modern techno, using a full spectrum of synths to draw out harmonically rich tunes that pack in the feels while holding enough mystery to keep a dancefloor enthralled. From the melancholic chimes of 'New Dawn Fades' to the electro lament of 'The Aeon', 'Electro 01's punchy, bass-warping rave energy to 'Third Eye Connection's acidic introspection, it’s an EP which cements Tunik’s highly developed expression through his array of studio tools, all strapped to finely honed club structures for maximum dancefloor impact.

Factor City kicks off its third decade in full swing, led by Undo solo and accompanied by its usual partners Casiowaves and Vicknoise.

It all began in 2003 when Undo & Vicknoise laid the foundation for the label with "Noctámbula," and over the years, they continued to collaborate closely, managing the label and producing "hits" such as "Orca" or "Happy Monday." From 2011 onward, following an amicable parting, Undo began to run the label solo while maintaining the same spirit and distinctive sound of the Barcelona-based label, always at the forefront of dance music produced in Spain.

Now, in 2024, in a "digital” world where fewer and fewer things can be touched with our fingers and where 100,000 songs are uploaded to Spotify every day, Factor City is charting a different course and starts a new decade on the dance floors by returning to vinyl releases and persisting in their low key and relaxed approach, releasing few and carefully curated records from their artists each year.

“Ciudad Futura” opens with "Good Times," a track by Undo that radiates joy and positivity. An euphoric ride through landscapes of analog synthesizers and drum machines. The second track on side A is signed by Undo & Vicknoise, who hadn't produced together in 15 years. And we hope they won't take as long to get back in the studio together after hearing the fantastic track "Electric Rainbow." A delightful slice of electro-disco. The B side is signed by the recent combo of Undo and Casiowaves. The first track, "Secret Worlds," follows in the wake of their recent releases on Factor City and Melodize with that winning combination of retro 80s and 90s synths with vocoders and a more contemporary production. Rising from the berliner underground, Longhair have earned with the years a notorious reputation on the scene supported by some of our favourite imprints. Amsterdam's Italo-tastemakers "Bordello a Parigi", "Permanent Vacation" and Paramida's "Love on the Rocks" have found a place for the trance-spacey sound of the berliner based duo.

Hammering and corrosive basslines, full of small little details and shining hidden stars in form of brilliant melodies that will make an exciting journey thru the Milky way.

Longhair show here their great versatility blending different subgenres that vary from Indie dance, leftfield house, Nu-Disco and everything in between and adding their particular cosmic touch and some trancy elements. Hailing from Seoul but now firmly based in Amsterdam, Naone delivers a superb EP on Warning, mixing her emotional background with her more contemporary roots, the perfect bridge between both worlds, Asia and Europe, or perhaps between her inner self and the outside world. Starting with Perfectly Harmless, the mysterious track develops into deep feelings that really unfold and expand in Hondon-Ui Kaosu (Chaos of Chaos), where the electro breakbeat responds to a melody with hints of pop consciousness.

On the flip side, the Korean artist unleashes her passion with the deep psy-trance infused enigmatic techno groover Haengjin (Marching), followed by a sensitive downtempo acid closer aptly titled What's Happening. Ultimately, this is about the process of making music, channelling emotions and perceptive energies to create a balanced representation of past emotions and memories.

Introducing the debut release from Clair Obscur, a subdivision of Diki Records, offering mainstage melodic techno sounds. This marks the debut of a new duo from northern France, Made On Sofa.



The main track, 'Constellation', has a catchy, original rhythm, accompanied by powerful melodies and the magnificant voice of Egyptian singer Hayat Selim. The second track, 'Jungle Moon', has a progressive build-up and will have most dancefloors jumping with its powerful, recognisable theme!

Sound the alarms, red-hot new label Spray has checked in for round two; nummer zwei.. though far from dry; with Leisureplex, a suspiciously proficient debut from Dublin’s Drua. Joining the prog-parade full steam ahead, the 3 tracker dabbles in tech trance activity with a bonus remix from Berlin’s backbone Mor Elian. The enigmatic newcomer showcasing mature structural bliss, crafted for moments of subconscious synchronicity between the dj and their dancers.

Breaking out of the cookie cutter mold in sharp fashion is the title track, rolling effortlessly with addictive bell delays and morish gating. Layers graciously build a wall of sound that can’t be broken down; splintered shakers flicker above board whilst demonic vocal blurs act as rhythmic counterparts. Mor Elian’s dystopian leaning rendition still holds some stealthily euphoric aura, the heavy handed machine drum freakout a brain scattering rendering on speed.

The B Side stands alone tall and proud; Larp feels like a climax at the party. Sirens flaring high as hell, the rise and fall of the bassline bouncing in tandem with driving drums, only stopping for a dramatic drumroll. An essential to top off a seriously stunning first record from Drua, get it before he blows up!

Memory Lane Lying in Pain is the debut Ep by Evil Saint Francis, the latest incarnation of Francesco Mele, a known figure in the Italian indie/darkwave scene. Penned at the height of lockdown to exorcise his demons, these songs were produced by Jacopo Bigagli. The Memory Lane Ep is a darkwave / synthpop / shoegaze’s threesome with a very dark bystander who resemble rowland s howard. LVCA aka Luca Cazal steps up on remix duties, drawing from his synth pop and new wave influences of his former years as a musician, delivering an acid tinged rendition of the main track.

Belarusian producer Four Walls is back after a seven-year hiatus. The first time around he made some standout cuts for the likes of Traxx Underground and Kolour LTD but this time around he finds himself on the new Ultraworld Records imprint from DJ Craft. This one kicks off with the lush prog house and silky synth arps of 'Mind Charger' which soon takes you to the stars. 'Metamorphosis' is a more raw-edged and acid-laced techno stomper for peak time action and 'Summer Nights' is a bubbling, elastic tapestry of new age overtones, thudding kicks, and trance-tinged pads. A remix by Toronto-based Pletnev adds another dimension to this club-ready EP.

We are delighted to present you a fresh EP from our French friend Gauvain. His tech- trance tracks with samples from old movies are bringing a mysterious dance vibe to any floor. Next to making dance music he is also known as JJ Boooth the man who can change wood into spectacular DJ booths..

Over the past decade, Kasra V has blossomed as a prominent figure in the music industry, particularly through his renowned residency on NTS Radio which has expanded his profound knowledge and expertise in music. Since landing his radio residency in January 2014 he has successfully broadcast over 200 radio shows, making use of the format to explore a wide array of sonic attitudes, styles and systems. To celebrate his achievement Kasra V launches his own imprint V-Sion which he will not only use for his own release output but also to propel his vision of contemporary dance music. To kick things off he presents a stunning 9-track compilation '10:10 Kasra V presents 10 years on NTS Radio' featuring unreleased tracks from some of his most revered guests who have graced his show throughout the years. Each contribution is wholly in line with Kasra V's genre-spanning approach. Over the years some periods have seen him playing straightforward club music, others featuring an extended notion of listening music. One hears a whole breadth of influences in his releases on acclaimed labels such as Radiant Records and Shaytoon Records: collected strands of rave, acid house, San Francisco breakbeat, new beat, ambient, oddball pop from 90s and 80s, UK bleep and so on. The regularity of a broadcasting residency pushed him to carry out a constant study of the history of dance music, and he envisions V-Sion as an output to curate musical output, contributing to the ongoing dialogue between past, future and the ever-changing fulcrum of the sonic present. The tracks presented on 10:10 are also emblematic of this historically-informed approach to dance music. They are all tuned for the floor, but present a range of possible floors to conjure: Fantastic Man's progressive opener, "Neural Filter", is airy and laced with delicate breakbeats, while "Archangel Waltz" by Sepehr presents a shadowy drama of string samples and throbbing bass swells."Qadak" by 500SEC lays an anthemic Arabic melody over bubbling electro; 2 tracks prior, Angel D'Lite circulates a whisper and moan through the mix of a euphoric, rave-stabbed anthem. The latter encouraged Kasra to put out this very compilation, which is just a testament to the value of the company we keep.

Following 2023's acclaimed, chart-topping mixes from Henry Saiz, and Tim Green, Balance have enlisted the services of two masters of their craft in Dave Seaman and Quivver, to curate their next mix compilation release. Style and substance joined at the hip.

Every track is exclusive to this release - not one track has previously been released. The latest venture in the ToneShift imprint from UK-based label Comma Traxx welcomes emkay and Janthe to the Comma releases catalogue alongside label boss Hannd and frequent releaser Cosmic G. Each track stands out individually but works together seamlessly to create a complete compilation package. Hannd’s ‘Ratio Extract’ acts as the modernized progressive house representative on the VA, merging intricate sound design with developing goa’esque melodies forming a fine line between euphoric uplift and rolling peak time ammo. emkay’s ‘Rays Of The Sublime’ does as the title suggests, sending the listener into an uplifting state of bliss, combining raw break percussion with intricate synth developments - a strong representation of why the talented producer is a name to be reckoned with at the moment. Cosmic G draws on old-school goa trance influences for ‘Life Pride’ fusing tribalistic percussions tastefully immersed with deep and atmospheric sound design. Basic Spirit welcomes the first out-of-house artist to the label, our dear friend Fantastic Man. A household name at this point, FM hedges the Basic Spirit catalogue into a deeper, more euphoric territory, with four tracks that quite frankly melted our hearts and minds when we heard them. It's a big heads-down record, which gets a big thumbs up from us.

Lost Miracles Vol. 3, a selection of eight tracks finally available on vinyl. Including tracks from Sébastien Léger, Roy Rosenfeld, Tim Green, Volen Sentir, Simon Vuarambon, Eli Nissan, Raw Main, Shai T and Kasper Koman.

The sixth UFOs outing is another intergalactic adventure in sonic form and this time at the buttons it's New Balaance, a Mexican artist at the heart of a new wave.

Space Jungle though is an apt title for this EP, which kicks off with some stylish breaks and nimble basslines overlaid with lush cosmic arps. 'Space Jungle' (feat Parallax Modulators brings a more pensive mood thanks to the sustained chords and deeper grooves, but subtle acid and chattery perc bring it to life.

After a 3-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Balance Music's legendary main compilation series returns for its 31st volume with an absolute stunner courtesy of UK DJ and producer, Tim Green.

Following in the footsteps of epic contributions from the likes of James Holden, Joris Voorn and Agoria, the celebrated artist of labels such as All Day I Dream, TRYBESof, Cocoon, Siamese and many other acclaimed imprints creates a truly beautiful story on this 2.5-hour mix.

From Panorama Bar to fabric to Burning Man and Amnesia, Green's classy, melodic take on house and deeper techno has been taking him across the world for a good decade-and-a-half now, and it's the sound of his sets that he has sought to capture on this mix-albeit with concessions to a slightly wider range of sounds to suit.

"Some of the songs are definitely more "outside" of the world and genre I am currently operating in" he explains, "but they are equally songs that I love and which I think have a certain crossover into my world and sound. The musicality and musical intent from each song is what's most important. So, this time I haven't tried to find and include all the latest unreleased and unheard forthcoming songs from artists, for the sake of being super fresh as this can be achieved easily in online mixes. Rather I've focused more on the songs I feel represent my sound, even if they are older perhaps, lesser known or slightly alternative." - Tim Green

As well as some quite remarkable exclusive original productions, he also includes eight of his own EDITs in this expansive mix.

From the blissful opening of Tim's own 'Time Doesn't Have to Heal', this is a deeply sensual mix. From pared-back, ethereal, slow-moving beginnings, the mix picks up emotional pace with the delicate guitar arpeggios of Ranta's 'Valor', and a tribal lilt in the groove creates urgency in Travertia's 'Auwald'. His EDIT of Serious Dancers 'Callahan' injects heavenly optimism with its deft piano lines. The playful, mystical, swung melodies of Synesthesia's 'Obbie' segue perfectly into the gently spine-tingling 'Playces' by mredrollo, shifting the gears up once again around the 45-minute mark as the mix begins its "come-up" phase. His own 'Eteri' is one of the mix's true highlights; a brooding, chugging stunner led by a driving bassline and the beautifully melancholic sequence a chime melody. Slang & Technodreamer's 'Pad Destroyer (mredrollo Remix)' lays on a stirring string arrangement and brings levity with it, bringing disc one to a magical close (in the physical version).

More Tim Green exclusives form standout moments in the second half: 'It's Only Lightning'; is a rush-inducing whirl of tingly synth melody, and the dark driving trance-tinge of 'Monster It'. His EDIT of J'EAN's 'STAAHP' seethes with dubby techno energy, urging us towards his sumptuous collaboration with Sebastien Leger, 'Duel' to begin the killer crescendo that rounds this mix off. His new remix of Underworld's classic' 'Two Months Off' is a tremendous and respectful rework, the lilting guitars, and soft tones of his EDIT of Axel Boman's 'Chestunt Heartsprite' are a pure delight, and the sumptuous piano chords of his EDIT of Deividas Bagdanov's 'Champagne' is a fittingly beautiful ending.

Radioaktion Recordings is glad to present its first project by Arnic, a four track EP that features future-retro sounds with an emphasis on the emotional part of electronic dance music.

Side A leans into the more obscure and mysterious side of things. A1 is full of emotional darkness dragging the A2 along with a little bit of rock influence, hence creating the character Dr. Machine.

The B side is for the lovers and heart breakers, but on the dancefloor rather than in real life.

Gianpiero Pacetti aka J.P. Energy's music developed in the city of Brescia: land of afro-cosmic, euro-dance hits and metallurgic industries. Amidst this backdrop, J.P. Energy built his unique vision on djing and music production while also running his own record shop, Mandragora Dischi. "Forbidden Planet", "Strano E.P." and "I Have A Pessimistic Outlook of Life E.P." are just a few of his releases that are extremely sought-after these days. It was hard to track him down, but eventually we made it. These three cuts were produced with Macro Dj in 1999, using only his vintage synthesizers in the studio in the back of his record shop. They were never released until now.

Heading up the release is Barcelona based beatmaker - Vince Void, a fitting return to the label. His “Explorer” EP is crammed with dynamite dance floor enthusiasm, moving elegantly between dusty breaks, slick house and space infused electro grooves. Taking care of the remix in a fine manner is Mario Liberti, the Deep In Dis founder bringing the high energy funk for the small hours of the night!

First up is “Phase Finale”, setting things up in a playful mood, the elasticated groove drives the track as otherworldly pads and synths wander blissfully around the heart of the production. Classy club room action from Void ready for the summer floors. More of the same in title track “Explore” quirky samples flash in and out as the journey unfolds, another certainty for the record bag. Mario Liberti’s remix immediately gives you a nostalgic rave vibe, huge broken drums, rave stabs and sub heavy bass make this a modern day anthem.

On the B side Void’s innovative collaboration with Alex Garcia takes the helm - “Access Denied”. Seductive spoken word draws you into the meticulously arranged trip, unexpected twists and turns continue to appear before you. Driven from the get go is the final track “The Vision”, tinges of acid conversing with the explosive and chunky drums patterns.

The fourth Planet Tapes record has a very deep meaning for us to which we are emotionally linked.

It will belong to the hosts Two Opposites. "Astro Collector EP" can be interpreted as a mixture of raw and emotional sounds.

All tracks on the album feature their original full-length versions, exclusively remastered for this release. This unique compilation is not only a selection of the best tracks that defined La Bush as a legendary club with a distinctive sound but also serves as an ode and tribute to the golden era of Trance and progressive music in the late '90s and early 2000s - the renowned Golden Age!

On this album, you'll find contributions from iconic artists who left an indelible mark on history, including Sasha, Danny Tenaglia, Laurent Garnier, Luke Slater, Yello, Nalin & Kane, Solarstone, BT, Oliver Lieb, WestBam, Jens Lissat, and Mr Sam, among others. Additionally, there are many "hard to find records" that will delight vinyl collectors. A pure DJ tradition and culture make a grand return with the inclusion of "acapella". In the rich legacy of '90s Italian clubs there's a region and, especially, a place that had its own set of rules. Club Imperiale was located in Tirrenia, on the coast of Tuscany. Its legendary parties, called "Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno” (Midnight Midday), were huge dj marathons that included the cream of local selectors such as Francesco Farfa, Robi J, Miky the Dolphin, Rick 8, and more. In 1993, what became one of the club’s anthems was produced: “Sweet Revenge” was composed by the Falsini brothers and by one of the resident djs, Andrea Giuditta. The EP was released on Interactive Test and its peculiarity was the participation of Club Imperiale’s vocalist Franchino on one track. Thirty years later, Evasione Digitale brings back four tracks of pure Tuscan Progressive bliss! The reissue includes the three tracks from the original EP and another version of “Escandalo Total,” previously only available on a limited promo release from Interactive Test.

Satelliet Studio Recordings is a Berlin based label born first as a multidisciplinary brand related to the early underground music scenes. Since years Satelliet built up a community through creating and sharing material connected to it.

This release, named “The Light In The Darkness Saga Vol1”, is the first of a trilogy that will be mainly curated by the italian producer Otis and Satelliet’s co-owner and creative director Intheismah.
The record is the result of a long journey embracing different styles such as Dark Electro House and Synth Techno, creating a perfect blend of dancefloor filler and after
hours tracks. A proper mix of light and darkness.

Ildec's Time To Panic launches his Voidfall VA series with by Samuel Jabba (From The Void Above) , Javier Carballo (Terms), Omar Akhrif (Timeless) and Aniano.

Celebrating their 10th release, Tresydos presents a two-part special edition featuring artists that are already part of the family along with some new faces.

For this second part, B.Love debuts on the label with Video Soul, starting the EP with a funky tone, followed by tresydos family member Arnic with the dreamy and bouncy “I’m Into You”. On the B side, Neik is finally back with a timeless track that shows a different side of the Argentinian producer’s usual style. Atree closes the EP with his characteristic punchy basslines to give the perfect ending to this special edition of tresydos.

Seasoned style master general, Argy joins Afterlife with this two-track expedition.

Argy’s credentials demonstrate his diversity and innate talent, which is evident here on the Tataki EP. The title track opens the release, Argy demonstrating his dexterity with a mesmerising looped vocal clip and mystical atmospherics. On the flip it’s ‘Magic Order’, a driving cut with beautifully haunting choir-esque vocals played backwards, emitting a spinetingling aura of sound.

Argy returns to Afterlife, linking up with Omnya to bring forth this captivating release.

Together, they’ve crafted ‘Aria’, a mesmerising cut with an undulating low end and hypnotic vocal refrains. The choir-esque sample is skillfully segmented and reiterated, forging an electrifying atmosphere and triggering a heady juxtaposition of euphoria and ominous tones. In combination with the pulsating bassline and uplifting melodies, it’s a sonic portal to a realm beyond the ether.

On the flip Argy and two-man outfit Goom Gum team up. The trio get together for the first time on this cut, pouring their respective energies into a powerful composition. ‘Pantheon’ utilises a rousing vocal symphony, with a rolling bassline, an urgent melody and a goosebump-inducing breakdown to devastating effect.

The title track "Ghost In The Shell" has a light and a dark side that fight with each other somewhere in 2077, and it's up to you to decide which one wins. “Ramayana” is an interpretation of the ancient Indian epic in the form of a meditative dub-techno-trance. "Wow!" dedication that occurred on August 15, 1977. A strong narrowband radio signal was detected by Dr. Jerry Eiman while working on the Big Ear radio telescope at Ohio State University. "Wow!" was the only signal in the history of mankind intercepted from the depths of space, which could not be deciphered, but the musicians tried. The EP closes with a slow track with an unearthly atmosphere, shimmering with contrasting electronic sound. "After Glow" - a neutrino of a thermonuclear sun, making its way through thunderclouds and bringing hope to the bright future of the present time. So Komponente & Kurilo made mystical EP with an unpredictable plot, which is a symbiosis of dub-techno and trance melodies.

The dynamic duo of Komponente & Kurilo from the Ukrainian label Trance Pandemic are preparing for their next sold-out record. This “Defenders” EP is made from tracks, that were made before the full-scale Russian invasion in Ukraine and also it is the continuation of “For A Brave” EP.

The main track of the release, also called “Defenders” is a signature piece for their duo. Moderately slow and calm, that evolves into something bigger around the third minute. The mayhem of sounds with that hell’s bells also. And there’s a little Easter egg at 1:29. If you know the sample – you’ll smile for a bit.

The record starts with “Victory”. Bold, a bit broken at the beginning piece, that is also evolving. This time we’re talking about the structure. The straight one comes after that broken start. “Kharkiv Mnemonic” also has some bells inside, paired with a nice, bubbling acid and a heavenly melody a bit closer to the end. The calmest track on the release.

Last, but definitely not least (the choice for the pick was between these two from the B-side) is “Broken Dreams”. Still can’t get enough of that break that we know lately from Alec Falconer’s release on Art Of Dark (not that lately, to be honest) and a dozen of other tracks. Here it’s hidden a bit in the back, so we can hear another kinda trancey and melancholic melody in full.

Parallelle join forces with Nicolas Masseyeff once again for ‘Renegade’ on Crosstown Rebels, featuring a remix from Adam Ten & Mita Gami. Collaborating previously on DGTL, having known each other for years, Dutch brother duo Parallelle and France’s Nicolas Masseyeff have created a partnership within the studio that clicks. Parallelle are multi-instrumentalists, composers, producers, and Klassified Records owners with a hybrid sound that mixes up electronica, electro-jazz and underground house, while Masseyeff is equally accomplished and draws on minimalism, jazz, new wave, Detroit and Chicago when crafting his signature sound on the likes of Systematic Recordings and Diversions Music. Linking up again, the three talents combine for a first outing on Crosstown Rebels with ‘Renegade’.

Up first is title track ‘Renegade’, a deep mid-tempo house shuffler. The drums are elegant and airy, with bright chords and a rasping baseline. It’s a real mood builder with dramatic synth sweeps that brings a sense of class to the dance floor. Israeli artists Adam Ten & Mita Gami have been a creative force for the last couple of years, and their ‘High On’ EP on Crosstown Rebels last year gained huge success, defining a new movement of psychedelic house sounds. Their remix of ‘Renegade’ offers a slowly unfolding masterclass with moving melodies and modulated synths casting a captivating spell. Last of all is ‘Bandidos’, another deep and subtle track infused with rich synth work. The bright lines and deft pads are lithe and loose over the underlapping drums, encouraging you to gaze in awe as you get lost in the mellifluous groove.

Welcome to Jamming Is Life, a new label embodying the spirit of improvisation, spontaneity, and emotional expression through sound.

For the first release I’ve selected four of my tracks to set the mood for what I have in mind for this imprint:
Chasing the mystery in music, the unexplainable, while keeping it fresh and clubby. I’m not big on promo texts, but truly hope this music will find a way to speak to you.

Holly Lester’s Duality Trax imprint has quickly established itself as one of most exciting emerging labels from within the modern electronic circuit. Undoubtedly inspired by the golden era of house, techno, bleep and club, the label also has its crosshairs fixated firmly on the future and has become a one-stop-shop for the very best in early-hours euphoria and contemporary heads-down sonics.

Despite its young age the label already boasts a stellar back catalogue, releasing tracks and records from Fio Fa, Violet, Cromie, rRoxymore, Roza Terenzi and more – and the fourth in the series comes from Steffan Todorović and Joonas Aro under their Abdul Raeva alias.

Holly is no stranger to either artist, having set up the Terrazzo label with Gestalt Records and Coymix head Steffan. It’s a sonic match-made-in-heaven, with both contributing artists and label head sharing an admiration for bouncy, fun and deep club music that dangles its legs on the border of emotionality without taking itself too seriously.

The label head was first drawn to the lead track ‘Atlas Corporation’ with it’s soaring resonant lead reminiscent of the classic ‘Rez’ by Underworld. Ear-wriggling acid lines and psychedelic atmospherics balance a gritty and driving drum rhythm across a kaleidoscopic six minutes, before ‘Death Race’
blends techy dub with Abdul Raeva’s signature proggy sauce, best played as the sun begins to rise again.

Staying true to the concepts of gender and sonic duality, the remix comes from Australian DJ and Pure Space-founder Andy Garvey who turns in a breakbeat-laden, broken acid-techno rendition of the A2, before we come to a meditative close with the tropical, downtempo sounds of ‘Guardian of the Vault’.

Superluminal cult continues beyond time, this very last catalog ends the Re-Discovery series as a perfect trilogy established by deejay and producer Matthias. These four pieces were composed in the same period where the 961 Studer mixing console was added to the artist studio, summoning their low-ending drum patterns blended into epic polyphonic strings and pads.

The artist gives a wide open glimpse of more dancefloor-oriented materials, the complex and alternate disco-funk synth orientation is well orchestrated without indulgence and most certainly gives birth to four songs of extreme versatility and DJ functionality. Once more the use of the vocoder is largely influential over the arrangements, adding romantic stratified atmospheres of riverbed nostalgia. A retro & modern territories alignment was the catalyst element of the artist's musical style orientation, outletting its sound into a unique musical genre.

The Naarm chapter of the Oyster Cult has been coming through with in a big way lately, and this one is no exception. Introducing Reflex Blue, the latest Antipodean export to put his stamp on a lysergic dancefloor sound indebted to the early ‘90s.

If Australia’s South East has proven itself a fertile breeding ground for tripped-out dance music, Reflex Blue is a case in point. Damian Lazarus presents the sixth volume of his Crosstown Rebels SPIRITS compilation series, boasting an impressive lineup of Lauren Lane, Cristina Lazic, AJ Christou, TMPLE and more.

Since its debut in 2017, Damian Lazarus’ annual ‘SPIRITS’ series on Crosstown Rebels has been a beacon for breakthrough artists, setting the label’s agenda for the year ahead. The sixth instalment in February is another meticulously curated lineup with ‘SPIRITS VI’ featuring a blend of new and recognisable talents, including Lauren Lane, Cristina Lazic, Iñigo Vontier, AJ Christou and many more.

the EP FACE I is an evolution from the previously released album JAHRE. it fits into the narrative of urban life and our own personal development. both chronology and emotions are explored here and adapted with lyricism and atmospheric digital and analog sound.

it starts with 1984, beginning of our emotional journey and also literary (GEORGE ORWELL) fixpoint of the electronic adaptation. we feel a kind of lightness in our society, upswing and freedom determine everyday life for a large part of germany. we are free, everything seems possible! almost we move through an utopia. new prosperity and contentment let us blossom, no digital friends and in-between worlds alienate our seemingly naive and peaceful being.

in TMV a first individual emotional world comes to the fore, the mood is mixed and seems fragile. euphoria and melancholy mix to an undefined state of emotional and musical confusion. LYRIK gets a first big space here and carries from the part of confusion into a part of detachment. despite the ambivalence of the first moment, the scene ends in a transcendental, positively driving state of letting go and rest ...

the next part takes us away from the familiar and seemingly peaceful MOMENTS. we jump into the year 2184! 200 years later we are sitting here now, society has turned into an emotional desert like in ORWELLS fiction. a lonely CYBORG sits in the ruins of our once joyful cathedrals and sings about his tearing apart. he can't be without, but also can't be with his own anymore. like a cursed of two worlds he sits stranded in space and time.

the conclusion is made by TMVA, here we get into a very intimate emotional farewell to a lost and unfulfilled love. the calm tempo lets everything flow out that has confused and driven us for years. who or what do we want to become emotionally? are we even capable of letting ourselves fall after decades of searching and disruption? are we already dying? in the end only art and the love of it remains to save us.

Going forward in exquisite style, Marina releases her second outing on her own Sweet State imprint, matching three deftly produced originals with three remixes from Gerd Janson, Earl Jeffers and Tatyana Jane. Launching in 2021 with her ‘Free Mind EP’ complete with remixes from Cinthie and Anna Wall, ‘Imperméable en été’ now follows up - sure to further cement her position as an artist in the ascendancy.

On this long-awaited release, Marina Trench delivers three originals cuts, that range from the colourful opener and nu disco lovely ‘Ose’, co-composed and performed with fellow Parisian producer Hugo LX, to the classic house vibrations of the club oriented ‘L’Orage’, via some pop infused downtempo vibes from the heartfelt ballad ‘Hirondelle’. With these three new compositions, Marina shows her shimmering musical versatility and aims to blow some fresh air into her own sonic galaxy.

The B side houses a series of impressive remixes, kicking off with one of the most legendary artists of this time, Gerd Janson, and his instantly recognizable touch. Gerd delivers an ever so classy version of ‘Ose’ feat Hugo Lx that keeps the sultry sample of Marina’s vox present, while he composes a whole new bassline that leads the groove.

Next comes a remix of ‘L’Orage’ by the very talented Earl Jeffers. His deep-down groove lead style sits at the crossroads of afro and UK house. Adding new pads, synthwork, and solid bass, Earl perfectly reworks the track for the club and introspective moments alike, by submerging the listener into his colourful and vibrant shade of house.

Tatyana Jane's brilliant effort rounds off the EP. An emerging talent from France who makes a mark with her production skill once again through her rerub of ‘Hirondelle’. Bringing a whole new vibe that blends influences of breakbeat to techno to afro-futurism. Marina's vocal is on repeat throughout, bolstered by building drums that carries the dancer away in a sonic whirl.

The seventh release on SPAZIOTEMPO, the 4/4 side of Where We Met, marks Rambal Cochet’s full gas debut on the label.

The title track Ambientica is a proggy weapon the brings acid vibes and techy rhythms on a perfect balance. East Block, the other track on the A side, explores dreamier melodies with a punchy structure.

The B1, Tidal Types, is a techy prog weapon with ethnic samples and clear 90ies reminders and Underwater Armour, the closing track, seals it up with more truancy evolution and yeah, we can’t get enough of em!

The Malta-based label Lost & Found has just added a new edition to the catalog! It's one of those releases the music lovers don't expect but adore. It would never be possible to imagine Khen's take on Story Of Tokay by Budakid and Jamie Stevens or Jonas Saalbach's vision of Catfish by Guy J.However, the music speaks for itself throughout almost fifteen minutes of pure brilliance! Both tracks have a visionary sound that transcends the barriers of the genre and can satisfy the hunger for emotionally overwhelming production around the globe. It's difficult not to expect impressive releases from Guy J's record label, but the 79th edition once again proves the fame of Lost & Found doesn't rely on just the hype. It's all about character, quality, and refined production ideas.

The new EP on It’s a Pleasure imprint is conceived as a kaleidoscope of Jaisiel’s previous releases where pop and house converge in a seamless embrace.

A side is all about the infectious radio hit “Nada Que Ver” and its mesmerizing Remix by Lipelis who made its magic to turn the original track into a super fun and dynamic certified dance floor journey, where thick bass frequencies and classic M1 organ bass sounds will take you on a trip alongside Jaisiel’s hypnotic voice.

In the B side we entry into the dreamy realms of a UK rave in the 90’s with the pulsating energy of “El Amanecer” (Tenerife ’89 Mix), a synesthesia feeling where you can almost see the sun rising in your imagination while listening to it.

Following and closing the EP, an intimate and groovy acid tune “Sobre Cien” that invites you to chill and re-connect with your inner nostalgia, lyrics are about a big theme nowadays after Covid times, which is escape the noise of big cities and remember the value of your hometown, family and all time friends.

After having explored our native Switzerland in search of nuggets, we extended our research and came across a goldmine in the south of France. For our 4th release we welcome Soyouz and Groenogen on the imprint for a masterful split EP. On side A Soyouz brings to the table two progressive yet powerful cuts, heavily inspired by 90’s sounds balanced with delicately designed synth lines packed with slick drums as well as robotic voices that make his signature sound. On the B side Groenogen delivers two very powerful tracks. He gives us heavy hitting, driving basslines and extremely smart and sharp synth leads and show us a glimpse of a moody and acid side of his persona. Both tracks showcase his mastery of technical and energetic arrangement. The two French boys deliver a dancefloor wrecking record straight from Toulouse, not to be missed I tell you!

N-gel is back on Memento with his brand new 4-track “Wild” vinyl, plus an exclusive extra track for the digital release. Following up to his 2020 EP “No matter who I’m” that saw him debuting to much acclaim on Idriss D’s label, the talented producer returns to what he does best. “Control” is an energetic, stripped down groovy Chicago House-inspired number, with an infectious bassline and robotic vocal samples. “Dance” opens with a steady beat and flows with a crescendo of synth arpeggios that create a hypnotic mood. “Dreaming” speeds up the tempo with plenty of jacking snares and sounds from outer space. Title track “Wild” is upbeat and pumping, its swinging melody a catchy ear candy for the most discerning dance floor connoisseurs. “The night is my house” closes off the release as the digital bonus: loopy vocal snippets and an old school big room melody take it up a notch, ending the EP on a high note

Cementing themselves at the forefront of the action amongst Oslo nightlife Det Gode Selskab look to celebrate their decade long existence with a series of releases from an array of label affiliates. The first part of the 10 years release lands late November, and consists of refined curations featuring A:G, Alex Jangle & MatzaM, Felipe Valenzuela & Argenis Brito under their FAER guise, and another killer combo in the form of Deadbeat & The Mole.

Firing things up is Norwegian producer, A:G, his acid tinged electro energy making a bold statement for the 10 years series, crisp drum arrangements conversing with the elastic bass groove in “Can’t Cure Curiosity”. Label regulars Alex Jangle & MatzaM enter the dance with their “Glowbones” track, driven house music at its finest, containing the signature shimmering synths and pads the pair can be recognised by.

The flipside enters more stripped back territory, leaning towards minimal territory. FAER constructs an almost eight minute trip “Serious Repetitions”, distinct atmospheres simmer throughout, hypnotising as each motion melts into the next. The last of Part 1 sees Deadbeat & The Mole join forces, tribal like percussions lead you towards a mysterious path, and before you know it the warm bass is walking you down that same passage. Trippy elements circulate the body of the track which aptly rounds off this record, leaving a flavour for all the tastemakers amongst us.

The Det Gode Selskab journey has been a colourful one thus far, and will undoubtedly continue to be as the key driving force behind the brand continues to evolve and develop, with a never ending yearn to create outside of the box, whether that be events, music and art. Here’s to 10 more.

Thump! Check your periphery, because a heretofore entity has arrived on this earthly plane. Asphalt DJ has added another notch to the Haŵs bedpost, with the actualisation of his ‘Eternal Flower’ EP. The prolific DJ has really turned his attention to production of late, churning out a slew of sumptuous releases and features, neatly coalescing with his excellent mixes and underlining his clear-cut talent. His wizardry and acute ear for high-octane beats knows limitless bounds, and the majesty of ‘Eternal Flower’ continues his cartographic foray into pumping prog.

Alton Miller, is a true luminary in the world of electronic music. With a career spanning several decades, Alton Miller has earned a reputation as a pioneer and innovator in the Detroit house music scene. His unique blend of soulful, deep, and melodic house beats has been a driving force in shaping the sound of the Motor City's electronic music culture. Miller's contributions to the global electronic music community have made him a revered figure, and his timeless productions continue to captivate audiences, solidifying his status as a legendary figure in the world of house music.

Alton’s early roots in soul & funk music led to an affinity for clubbing and house music. Born in Chicago but raised in Detroit, Alton grew up with the sounds of Stevie Wonder, Santana, Parliament Funkadelic and the Philly Sound, always playing in the background. Miller began developing his deejaying skills under the electrifying energy of house music founding fathers like Larry Levan and Timmy Regisford, where he regularly attended infamous parties such as Ron Hardy’s Music Box and Frankie Knuckles’s private loft party in Chicago.

A few years later, Alton along with his like-minded friends, Chez Damier and George Baker, founded the legendary dance club 'The Music Institute' in Detroit in 1988. Since then, Alton has cemented himself in underground house music with numerous releases on some of the most notable independent labels in the industry, including Defected, Planet E, King Street, Nitegrooves, Guidance Recordings, Trackmode Records, Seasons and Octave Lab.

For REZ22twentytwo we turn to Christian Linder and his breakout EP from Bionic Beat Recordings back in 1994. Featuring 3 tracks of top shelf of progressive, trance and prime tech house it's a forgotten gem of a record.
