Horse whisperer by day and rhythm maker by night, Burak Sar aka SIS is next up on Crosstown's deeper offshoot Rebellion - delivering an essential EP packed full of groove, expertly winding textures, unexpected kicks and turns and cinematic allusions. 'Slider' is a groovy, eternally evolving masterpiece while the rolling 'Paspartou' builds with suspense and plays with haunting melodies and switching tempos and 'Breakers Paradise' flips the style with a more voice and FX heavy, minimal framework.

One of electronic music's most prolific producers, DJs, and live acts SIS, shot into the limelight in 2008 with releases on Cecille and Ricardo Villalobos' label Sei es Drum, which up until that point had only showcased Ricardo´s own productions. This well deserved wave of hype earned him the title of Groove Magazine's no.1 producer and Raveline's best newcomer award in 2008.

Second artist album 'Confidance' arrived last year on Cocolino and charted the artist's journey training as a horse whisperer while fully unleashing the wild and unbridled sonic energy SIS has become know for.

SIS is no stranger to the Crosstown Rebels catalogue having delivered the first ever Rebellion release and then later the 'Round Pen EP' on Crosstown Rebels in the summer of 2012. Other massive club records have appeared on esteemed labels such as Cocoon, 8Bit, Connaisseur and Get Physical.

Tominori Hosoya is the project of Japanese track-maker Tomi Chair and for the past years he's been on a steadfast journey in the land of soulful house. His most recent offering on MixxRecords entitled "Life Goes On EP" includes four tracks, three originals and one Brothers' Vibe remix. Starting off with "Over The Sadness", the first piece is a laid back groove with a solid bass backbone animated by classic house hi-hats. "Strategy Meeting" gets peppered with wobbly synths, giving the cut a seemly acid vibe against a steady percussive background. With "32-33 (One Decision)", Tominori delves into his tribal side; keeping the focus on exotic drum patterns. The dreamy synth melody provides a contrasting yet fitting backline. For his remix of "Strategy Meeting", Brothers' Vibe goes full force and turns the track into a peak time floor killer, with a hypnotic percussive line....a SOLID PROJECT for certain!!

Kool Vibe's music today reflects the best of the 90s House music sounds that he manages to capture so well. After releasing on My Love Is Underground & Traxx Underground in 2011 and 2012, the French producer launched his very own label KV Records in 2013.
Here he comes back with a new solo project on his own label : The Black & White Project (Pt.1 & Pt.2) Both records will be sold separately after an interval of one month. One Records co-founder Subb-an delivers his first full EP
for the label with 'Warp' - an exceptional release which also
includes 'TV feat. Jacob Phono' who appeared on Subban's
Cocoon release 'In The Night'. The release fully
epitomises what Subb-an plays in his sets and embodies
him as an artist. This is certainly one of his standout
releases to date and one of his personal favourites.
Originally from Birmingham, Ashique Subhan aka Subb-an now
resides in Berlin. A DJ, producer and live artist, his success has
been testament to his hard work and dedication . His prodigious
studio talents have seen him release on Spectral, Crosstown
Rebels, Visionquest, Cocoon and his own One Records.
Taking a break from playing live due to establishing himself as
a highly respected DJ, this summer has seen him come back to
playing live taking his show on the road, showcasing his new
material at the likes of fabric, Warehouse Project in
Manchester, Panorama Bar and Glastonbury where he closed
the Genisys stage after Francois K. The tour has stood
alongside his heavy DJ schedule, playing at all the major hot
spots including regular gigs at DC10's Circoloco this summer.

Italian native, Christian Lisco is well known for having an extremely envious collection of vintage
synthesisers and drum machines housed in his basement.
It was there that four ridiculously special acid cuts that we are prone to immediately fall in love
with on rst reception.
"Your Joy' which sees the collaborative eorts of singer, Michael Cliord, evokes the feeling of the
early age of American House music.
The next set of tracks were treated with a surrounding of acid basslines and heavy drums. Mixed
live and directly recorded to tape.

Hugo is the former production mastermind behind The Funk League, and the frenchman's hip-hop roots take his music production take on House music back to it's roots! 5 tracks from King Street Sounds vast catalogue from bonafide house legends : Blaze! Following on the series from Mood II Swing, Kerri Chandler, Mateo & Matos we now turn to New Jersey's deep house pioneers Blaze AKA Josh Milan and Kevin Hedge.

Amsterdam based Cubicolor have established themselves as one of house music's most exciting new names, with early singles 'Next Planet' and 'Got This Feeling' picking up support from the underground all the way up to BBC Radio 1's Pete Tong.

Their first release of 2015, the 'Magnum EP' sees them develop their warm, indie-leaning melodic sound with three beautiful cuts first heard in their recent Anjunadeep Edition mix. Title track 'Magnum' is a luscious rolling juggernaut, driven by head-in-the-clouds melodies and anthemic, glowing chords.

'Moments' shows off Cubicolor's moodier side, weaving eerie melodies around a techy groove. Huge bass notes combine with snare drum blasts before an epic heads-down, hands-up breakdown paves the way for dancefloor euphoria.

Slow-burning third track 'All Zero' drops the tempo, as chugging percussion, arpeggiated keys and distorted vocal samples combine in ethereal fashion. Beautiful haunting strings add an elegiac touch as Cubicolor close the latest addition to their already impressive catalogue.

This is Jamie Principle's first commercial single and was originally released on his own Persona label before later being re issued on Trax early 2000's.

We had no choice but to bring back our friend Kiko Navarro after the success of the 'New Life EP' released on Local Talk earlier this year.

'Isao' is Kiko at his finest, a beautiful and hypnotic house track that has the perfect blend of afro and latin elements with a bouncy electronic edge.
There's also a mighty fine remix coming from Jose Marquez. Jose develops the vocal elements and brings in a whole orchestra of drums taking the track in a sweatier direction.

Kiko also delivers a 'KOKI dub' where he continues on the same vibe and adds strings complimented by shakers and percussions throughout the track.

Tanzlife & Kammerton drop 'Those Family Affairs' EP on Silence in Metropolis this September, with Martin Aquino and Sam Haas remixes in tow. The Washing DC-based imprint Silence in Metropolis returns this summer with a dynamic four-track offering from Tanzlife & Kammerton. Despite its relatively fresh start the label welcomes the pair to an ever-burgeoning roster to sit beside names such as Funkdamentalist, Dale Howard and more recently JMF following his popular 'Point to Yourself' EP that dropped back in May.

Tanzlife gets straight into things with the jacking beats of 'Those Days', working in shifting percussion over lively intonations and a welcome addition of oscillating acid crunch towards the end. For 'Family Affair' Kammerton employs a rippling drum arrangement to seamlessly bubble alongside warbling bass while a velvety female vox resonates 'it's a family affair' punching out an undeniably hypnotic groove to the dynamic cut.

First up for remix duty is San Francisco native Martin Aquino who dishes up a warm and stripped back melodic track cultivated over infectious shifting percussion and warm rolling bass while Silence In Metropolis affiliate Sam Haas's knocks out a catchy off-kilter house cut built over broken beats and a wacked out 303 hook for his vibrant re-imagining.

Out-of-print since 1994, this early release from the Large music camp (on sub label Swing Street) has reached cult classic status and forced many a collector to seek out the few remaining rare copies available. Much has been said recently about the production team of Black Ice; this release showcases the reasons why they are so highly praised and have been re-discovered as major influences in the Chicago House sound. Five tracks here that all feature raw and textured rhythms mixed perfectly with splashes of melody and soul.
