Grounded in Humanity is celebrating their 6th release with trademark sounds from well known French producer Life Recorder.The EP offers 3 original tracks with deep chords and swirling arpeggios from the Frenchman plus a space tech remix from SoulRay and finally an outro from an Unknown source. It is also the 6th chapter of the story behind the label. "Uprising" describes the dramatically evolving situation on planet Earth with the clones starting to rebel against their creators...the future is dark. This limited EP is vinyl-only, strictly no digital.

Backwards EP is the first collaboration between Moodmusic head Sasse and Maurice Aymard. Backwards is a fresh take on house music with touches of disco, electronica and techno mixed in to the equation forming a beautiful mixture of forward thinking club music with a hands in the air factor. Athabasca forms a perfect companion to Backwards, taking a more disco approach to things and letting the steam build up before dropping into deep house territory. Remixed comes courtesy of Massimiliano Pagliara and Luvless.

The title track 'Untitled Love' is a dubbed up 90's-esque workout. Repetitive vocal samples swirl over a deep, low-slung bass groove & peak'd-up snares. Its an unashamedly wide eyed, bouncing production that'll please those checking for the current resurgence of raw garage sounds.

'Supernal' takes things into deeper territory with an intriguing steppers outing. The track oozes soul with rousing keys & smoked-out production that's all kept in line by a mesmerising, metronomic vocal. The set is closed by 'Metachemistry' an equally engrossing track utilising a shuffling groove wrapped in breathy, reedy horns & heavily reverbed percussion.
All told a deeply reverential release highlighting a producer with an obviously wide palette of influence & a natural feel for what simply works.

Following their remix of Moodtrap last year, we welcome Audiojack to Tsuba with two of their distinctive bass lead house tracks backed with a killer cosmic mix from Running Back's Lauer.

Derrick May's Transmat is back with the symbolic catalog number MS200 and the promising French producer Karim Sahraoui (AKA Djinxx). A new chapter will now be devoted to multiplying emerging artists' productions - not only musically, but also with a classic artwork that recalls Transmat's debuts and captivate us with modern interpretations of Transmat's distinctive sounds.

"Overdose" is the new series of vinyl only releases, launched by the Spanish label Cyanide. The purpose of the imprint is meeting the musical needs of the classic deep house junkies with timeless quality stuff. In their first poison dose, the label managed by Oscar Barila, introduces us the upcoming Italian talent Queemose.

"Promise" is forward driven psychedelic deep house track, with delicate pads and a strong rhythm. The perfect sound to heat up the dancefloor and blow your crowd minds. The ep is spiced by 3 top notch remixes by the Canadian duo EZLV (Nurvous, Save Room), the UK combo Jammhot (Defected, Morris Audio) and the Russian producer Dave Pad (Highway, Plastic City).

Ploiesti Romania area childhood friends Andu Simion, Dan Gheorghe and Bogdan Ardeleanu are inspired by Detroit's house sound and Berlin's techno. Their resulting collaboration is best described as "deep techno" and their first release is appropriately on Moods & Grooves known for pushing both envelopes. 'Les sons de la Lisie`re is a reflection of the beauty and silence of nature found in the suburbs of Ploiesti.

Born on the Aegean Sea but now calling the the Indian Ocean home, in retirement Mr Hugo Gerani supplies local jocks with the very best gear money can't buy - most handmade in his modest atelier - but with this record his products are finally available to discerning deejays worldwide!

Parisian label Escapade launches with a four-track 12 by Yuri Shulgin. The Russian artist first appeared in 2010 under the Mistanomista moniker on the Italian label Black Sunshine. He later released three records under his real name, first on Anton Zap's Ethereal Sound, then on Black Wall and finally on Modernista. Yuri's productions mix jazzy and funky vibes with electronic elements, which inevitably calls to mind the classic Detroit house sound. They have a warm and authentic feeling to them, thanks to his bass, guitar and keys abilities. Poducers such as Vakula have relied on his instrumentalist skills, but on Polyphonic Mind it is his turn to call on other musicians. 'Nothing In The City' features his friend Yuri Smirnov on the alto saxophone and kicks off this release on a laid back groove, which becomes more energetic in the second half of the track. Trumpet player Victor Netesov a.k.a. Humsafar joins them on 'Polyphonic Mind' for a full jazzy session. On the B side, Shulgin reveals his experimental facet with two jams using synths and delays. 'Livetrackrecording (Dubby)' leans into hypnotic territory while '#1stereo (Analog Jam)' rounds up the record with dreamy explorations.

HNNY strikes again with his second 12' on Local Talk this year.

The lead track Tears puts HNNY back in peaktime territory and as with previous tracks Yearning and For The Very First Tim, HNNY shows you do not need many ingredients to serve classic house flavours, just the right amount of grit and a irresistible vocal.

First out on the b-side is Gymnastics, a blistering disco number or as Tooli described it 'a 100% string-stomper.'
Ending this 12' is No Tears, a dub version with all the key details from Tears but also goes deeper and with more added efx.

"Land Of Confusion" is one of the most seminal Chicago Acid House records.

Originally released in 1987 on Bam Bam's Westbrook imprint and produced by the legendary Armando Gallop it marked the start of a recording career that would make him a household name among House and Techno aficionados. To say "Land Of Confusion" is raw is an understatement, it consists of a handful of elements but it's impact when played is incendiary. Armando's TB-303 acid lines sound possessed and unruly while the primitive drum machine patterns stagger around the track giving it a feeling of out of control urgency, a truly Lo-fi piece of crazy Chicago acid that was popular with many DJ's in Chicago (Including Ron Hardy at the Muzic Box) and around the world and continues to be influential today. An essential record for any discerning House or Techno fan.

This official re-issue 12" features all 3 original versions of "Land Of Confusion" and the original Westbrook label art. All tracks have been re-mastered and fully licensed in conjunction with Bam Bam / Westbrook Records, Chicago USA.

Kevin Saunderson's Detroit-based imprint celebrated its 25th Anniversary back in 2012, and the label's continued to cement its legacy with key vinyl reissues over the past couple of years. The recent campaign included Saunderson's Just Want Another Chance, the track which contains the "Reese" bassline—rivaled only by the Amen break as a formative element of drum & bass—as well as '90s releases from MK, Kreem (Saunderson's duo with Juan Atkins) and Chez (Damier) N (Ron) Trent.

The two remix compilations dwell on Chez N Trent versions produced during the 1993 through 1995 period, when they released enduring originals like "Morning Factory" and "The Choice." Volume One contains remixes of Sonya Blade and Miller/Scott Project while the second EP includes Damier and Trent's versions of Kreem as well as Saunderson's seminal vocal house group, Inner City. Chez N Trent's takes on Naomi Daniel's "Feel The Fire" and Essar'ay's "Forces" are also included.

"DJ Sliink, springing from the Jersey Club scene, has built an impressive reputation for his contributions to North American dance music. So much so that Vibe Magazine included him on their list of 30 DJ's to watch. His angular, spare take on club music can be described as straight forward, as much as a punch in the face can be described as straight forward anyway.

Elevater Action's cadre of producers and DJ's emerged from the nascent UK Funky scene of 2010, running a monthly event that followed the bleeding edge of that sound as it morphed into the nebulous genre of "Bass Music". The collective hosted DJ Sliink to a packed house in 2012, and have featured a diverse range of artists including HXdb, Distal, Donga, Cosmic Revenge, Prism, and Mike G.

As a label, Elevater Action puts aside ego and theatrics to focus on forward thinking, quality releases for fans of the ever-evolving concept of the sound system. There's no better way of expelling hubris than using their third vinyl release to again showcase artists they respect and admire, this time via two of the best remixes of Elevater Action's own productions.

DJ Sliink's reworking of FBOM's haunting 'Jansen' gives a muscular edge to the original, with crushing bass and a stark intensity that's set to tear up vinyl sets everywhere. A longtime favorite of the EA crew, KingThing reworks Dylan C's fantastic "Invasive Species" into a thumping, slow-burn of uncontrollable gyration. The propulsive, but dark brand of minimalism exhibited by both tracks is primed to ignite the dance floor. "

The Stateside bass collective Elevater Action's 5th vinyl release finds London based maestro Mr. Mageeka delivering 2 cuts of visceral and hypnotic house music. Previously known as MC Mega, Mageeka has been a part of the UK garage movement since it's formative years and the authenticity of his music speaks for itself with relentless and truly unique vibes. The A-side "Most" finds him at top form: swing-driven four on the floor with a timeless bass line that rolls seamlessly into soulful pads and tastefully placed chords, with a frenetic vocal hook that doesn't let up. The B Side Vinyl exclusive "Up In Smoke" features a sexy and sinister organ line leading into a bonafide sermon about Jack himself. Peppered with a swaggering vocal chant that keeps the intensity high throughout the track, the raw groove revives a classic sound into a modern context. EA's own Dylan C closes out the plate with a stripped down dub edit of Most, bringing the vibe of the original into a darker context with cryptic bass flexes and stripped down, minimal percussion while the vocal of the original melts into hallucinatory staccato.
