Last Supplement - The debut album from Nathaniel X & the culmination in the "Supplement" series kicks off with Part 1 of what will be a 3 part series that will span the mind, body, and sounds of New York's very own Nathaniel X.

Australian based producer Garry Todd, takes time out from his fashion and record label Contemporary Scarecrow to release this 12' of straight up house bombs aimed directly for the dancefloor. Limited edition hand stamped 12'.

WHITWORTH STRUT (GREG WILSON VERSION):

You don't get the kind of reputation Greg Wilson has earned without knowing what makes a dancefloor tick.

The master manipulator's take on Whitworth Strut has been a staple of his sets during the European festival season, generating big interest from his huge Soundcloud following.

It's not hard to hear why. Greg has twisted and teased the original into a dancefloor detonator. Less tick, more tick, tick, boom.

With a CV that includes a residency at a certain club on a certain street that inspired the title, the outcome was never in doubt.

The baggy beats and bass of the original are in place; so too the grabs of guitar and euphoric chords.

But what makes Greg's version soar are the subtle splices, effervescent effects and trippy treasures in the mix - hidden snippets of sound you sense as much as hear.
All combine to create a smooth intensity, an arrangement that ebbs and flows, providing pause for breath before dragging you in again.
The disco don has delivered again.

'Sleduyushly'or who's next up on Sol Asylum is Anton Zap. We are very pleased to be closing out 2014 with the delightfully well-crafted Deep House that resonates within Anton.

We start with Talking a simplistic yet deep and ever-evolving atmosphere with peculiar echoes and noises that speak to us through constantly moving metallic percussion. Next Rubblewood with its trotting wooden clicks and oscillating claps we morph through the track until the euphoric themes expand bringing us to the next level.

In My Lesson, Anton channels a 90's ambience with a definite feel for funk. Arpeggiated synths with just a hint of acid mixed with harmonic pads and unconventional horn riffs bring this eccentric soundtrack together. Finally Her Lesson brings us to more experimental territory with a futuristic outer galactic journey through space and time where a metronomic kick, walking bassline and gleaming pads transport us to another dimension.

Starting in 2004 with 'Made Within The Upper Stairs Of Heaven' and 2008 with 'Toinen', Lindblad has a tendency for symmetry, and now with the release of 'Third Encounter' in 2012 is no coincidence, just a scandinavian way of saying good things take their time and it's worth the wait. Analog synthesizers, sequencers and tape decks are something which are widely used in todays electronic music, but it is the mixture of the old and new - keeping the tradition of live jams instead of pre defined arrangements, choosing high standards in fidelity but keeping the rough feel to it - these elements together keep the sound of Sasse one step ahead of the competition, and why he is considered to be one of the most consistant producers in the scene. While 'Fingers Inc' and '707 Heaven' pays homage to the gold era of Detroit and Chicago house, songs like 'Analog City' and 'Fantazy' brings memories of the mid 90s Sasse material, true Deep House as it used to be done. While 'Alpha' and 'Der Groove' takes a naked live jam approach to how to abuse analog goodies, 'Low Slove' and 'Treat Me' are raw sample based tunes, perfect for a late night dj-set. The album Third Encounter showcases the 20 past years of Klas Lindblad as a musician, dj and sound engineer, one who's seen most of the modern musical styles evolve and dissolve. Always relying on the basic principles of Electronic Dance Music that less is more, Lindblad brings another fine full-lengt artist album out, surely to be considered his finest work til today.

18 months after Perseus Traxx brought Flight Recorder his first E.P, dedicated to four of the nine Muses of ancient Greece, the label now ushers in the second instalment dedicated to four more Muses, on Goddesses Of Inspiration II. The feel is the same as before with jagged cutting tones jammed live then edited down. Heavy synths and scattered drums perform an ode characterising the appropriate Muses, as tangled wires and a pair of hands wrench the overload of inspiration they give from basic machines. Once again Perseus' release on Flight Recorder is a unique set of acid-free sonic experiments, that sometimes feel as cold and edgy, as they do warm and carefree.

The forthcoming debut album titled, SECROMANCE, is no exception to early pioneer work of artists such as The Art of Noise and Kraftwerk who crafted and pioneered the computer automated voice in electronic music. Secromance , nonetheless, utilizes tuned and pitched automated vocals in a bit more of exploration within the Chicago Electro House genre. Our special feature for this album is a popular gem for the Chicago Steppin' community titled, "Been Steppin' to your Love..." So please get down to this one..

Common Dreams is a new techno project. Serving as both the artist name and the label, it's vision is to bring you a steady flow of futuristic, harmonic and rhythmic techno tracks. 'Data Waves' is a deep and mental journey that is intended to send the listener or dancefloor into a hypnotic state of mind, while 'Twisted Future' is a funky, soulful techno track, also with a dancefloor edge.

STATUE is a new percussion-based dance project erected by two unique drummers, Tom Gould and Nicolaas Oogjes. Having become known for laying rhythmic foundations of seminal Melbourne dance bands Worlds End Press and NO ZU, the pair have now joined forces to unveil STATUE, a strange new landmark in the dance music landscape.

Combining raw material from synthesizers, and a combination of drum machine and live percussion, STATUE is a monument to the human element of dance music culture. Drawing upon
inspiration from the organic rhythm of acts like Floating Points, Pachanga Boys and Ricardo Villalobos they have forged a deep, minimal and unique signature sound that has taken shape in this debut release. Commissioned by Cutters Records,'Built' casts a peculiar shadow on the dance floor. Prepare to be moved by STATUE!

Steve Huerta returns to Amadeus with his follow up EP, Apotheke. The transcontinental artist, having recently relocated to Berlin, sees the core of his sound developing, which is especially prominent in a-side belter and title track "Apotheke." The tune, dusted with a slow slung bassline, driving percussion and airy synth melodies, is undoubtedly built for the floor. Backing this you'll find Huerta's joint efforts with ultimate bud Urulu, who's collaboration was last seen on the label in the form of a remix for Huerta's "Take Me Closer" single. The track, entitled "Swing Set," pushes its 4/4 signature through pulsating kick drums, filtered pad work and an unconventionally swung groove.

On the flip you'll find Steve's third contribution to the release, "Kingsley's Groove." given its name as an ode to a feline friend. Backing this you'll find Tartelet Records' own Glenn Astro flipping the track into it's pumping glory.

Over the last sixteen years Moods & Grooves has amassed a staggeringly impressive label family that includes names like Theo Parrish, Mr G, Kyle Hall, Rick Wade, Andres & Kenny Dixon Jr. aka Moodymann. This May the legendary Detroit label returns with a seminal thirteen-track album from veteran DJ & producer Joe Le Bon entitled 'House Music Love Music'.

With this new LP Jarno Eerola aka Joe Le Bon demonstrates his inimitable production prowess, garnered from a musical career spanning more than twenty years and encompassing releases on labels such as International Deejay Gigolo Records, Pro-Tez, Plastik.FM and Blumenbeat. Alongside his own output the Berlin-based artist has written tracks and remixes for numerous producers, most notably composing DJ Hells chart- smashing remix of Tim Deluxe 'Transformations' which saw six continuous weeks at number one on Beatport.

Jarno's polished production ability and aptitude for exploring diverse sounds and rhythms whilst maintaining a resolute warmth and depth to every cut is the most prevalent footnote across the course of the album. For 'Ghosts On Cassette' the Berlin-based producer works whirring space-like atmospherics over hypnotic beats and shuffling snares to dish up a smooth and captivating opener. 'For Yasuni' and 'The Road Is Under Repair' get worked over subtle synth patterns and crisp percussion to offer up some of the more emotive provisions on the album. This in contrast to the deep driving beats of 'House Music Love Music' and the more club-ready tracks like '82 Degrees' or 'Like Cotton Deep Orchestra' truly exemplifies the wide-ranging nature of the album.

All in all Joe Le Bon has structured a sublime body of work that can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home or the middle of a dance floor, each and every track oozes depth and sits as a true testament to his abilities in the studio.

Oliver Dollar is known for his loyal service to the underground for the last decade, and more recently, for his cross-over chart hit 'Pushin' on'. Today he announces news of the first single which will see the launch of his brand new label - Industry Standard.

'Shout Away' is a collaboration with Chuck Daniels, a dark-disco club ready cut that was made recently in Detroit.

Of the new label Oliver comments 'I always wanted to do a label, but I think now is the right time to do it...The vision is to have crazy quality control, I don't want to put out a release every month.'
