Removing Dust

04.02.2013

12records is here to introduce the 2nd album by Deep88, aka Alessandro Pasini.
This album is a collection of Removing Dust EP vol 1 +2 (available separately).
After some 12 inches released on vinyl only it felt right to collect some of the best songs released together with the brand new material and create an organic album, Supporting the album with a live setup (No laptop is involved).
Self made artist, up since 2004 with different projects, Deep88 decided to start his own label in 2011 in order to release his music with no care or attitude to trend or fashion sound, developing his own style, spacing house music from classic deep to extreme raw sample based, collecting historic music gears and hardware during the years and mixing them together with other new digital toys.
The result is an album where you can find some cheesy balearic songs together with some inner raw tracks, due to his eclectic attitude. It's all about the way he decides to create music, it can be either using just an old sampler and a turntable or using some analogue and digital synths and a computer or just mix these 2 points of view together.

PMR, The critically acclaimed London label home to Disclosure, Jessie Ware and Julio Bashmore today announces its brand new sub label. PMR Beat Club will serve to cherry pick fresh sounds by young music makers pushing things in new directions. No set genres. Just good music.

PMR Beat Club's first release is with 21 year old Polish wonder-kid Klaves, who has quickly become one of music's most exciting new talents.

With a background in classical music and a love of house, Klaves has had a rapid rise in the past 12 months, picking up huge support both online and in the club for his early productions. One pivotal moment came earlier in 2014 when he was asked to support the illustrious Nicolas Jaar on a string of huge dates around his homeland.

'People'/'Oh No' is a perfect example of the label's forward-thinking mission statement... combining complex chords, vocal samples and everything from saxophone lines to classical

Nimbus Quartet - Later Lover (180 Gram Vinyl 12")

Fresh from the release of their very first LP, here's an ultra rare repress coming from mid-nineties USA via one of the Paris finest new labels, Lazare Hoche Records. The bossman himself Lazare Hoche is an avid collector of rare house joints, and has a penchant for anything the truly epitomises the spirit of house music; raw, undiluted and full of funk. Unlike some collectors who never reveal their secrets, Lazare Hoche decided to share his knowledge of those hard-to-find tracks of the past with this new release, and so acquired the license for three tracks by the cult duo Nimbus Quartet grouping them all together in a special vinyl-only reissue. Nimbus Quartet was the short-lived partnership between Dave Stevens and acid legend Woody McBride. Between them they created gold dust, the kind of pure, unadulterated house music that sounds as fresh today as it did almost 20 years ago when it was first released. Although they only released two double 12inches on the legendary US based Sounds Records, those albums remain classics to this day. So it was only right that they be reissued for a whole new generation of house connoisseurs to enjoy. Strictly for the heads, we present the quirky "Later Lover", "Mouch Touch' with its classic guitar riff finish and the 12-minute masterpiece, "Your House Is Yours Part II&III". So enjoy, and party like it's 1995...

The Nuclear Family - After Effects

Hello - we're The Nuclear Family. We've had roots in Glasgow's electronic music scene for a while, and we've released music separately in the past, under a variety of names, but none of that is too important. For the past year or so, we've been shacked up in a tiny southside studio making house and techno that we hope will stand the test of time. Our first release is After Effects - a quartet of fresh yet classic productions crafted with love and care for the discerning listener. We've got plenty more where this came from, so keep an eye out for another promo email about our next release, which includes a killer remix from Moon B.'
Early support from: Harri & Domenic (Sub Club), Jackmaster (Numbers), Mister Saturday Night (NYC), Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Marco Bernardi, House of Traps (Firecracker), Bake (All Caps), Chris Duckenfield, Dan Curtin, Titonton, Russ Gabriel, Morgan Geist, Brawther, Volcov, Lakuti and many more.

Various ( Vincenzo Maurice, Nick Beringer, Mode7, Aurhythm) - The Friends N' No Ends Ep (180g Vinyl Only)

Käse Kool's fifth release, the Friends n' No Ends Ep, is comprised of 5 Berlin-based producers, each of which brings his own unique sound to Ep. A1, Appearance, comes from the face behind Crude Wax, Vincenzo Maurice. This tune comes with a rough attitude of sheer analogue house. A2, Wismut, comes from the man with the plan, Nick Beringer. This track speaks for itself with its punchy bass-line and direct groove. B1, Visions, comes from a newly formed duo who goes by MODE7. This promising duo hits it home with their newest track Visions as its sweet and sultry pads play with the drive of bass and drums. Lastly B2, System is Wack, comes from a producer who goes by the name of Aurhythm (AKA Dennis Sekyere). This track speaks for itself, as being very rude with it's rough drive but still keeping its own delicate stems

The Kms Remixes Vol. 1

01.06.2015

Kevin Saunderson's Detroit-based imprint celebrated its 25th Anniversary back in 2012, and the label's continued to cement its legacy with key vinyl reissues over the past couple of years. The recent campaign included Saunderson's Just Want Another Chance, the track which contains the "Reese" bassline—rivaled only by the Amen break as a formative element of drum & bass—as well as '90s releases from MK, Kreem (Saunderson's duo with Juan Atkins) and Chez (Damier) N (Ron) Trent.

The two remix compilations dwell on Chez N Trent versions produced during the 1993 through 1995 period, when they released enduring originals like "Morning Factory" and "The Choice." Volume One contains remixes of Sonya Blade and Miller/Scott Project while the second EP includes Damier and Trent's versions of Kreem as well as Saunderson's seminal vocal house group, Inner City. Chez N Trent's takes on Naomi Daniel's "Feel The Fire" and Essar'ay's "Forces" are also included.

A true child of the rave generation, DJ/producer Warlock's mixtapes and radio show, on the now legendary London pirate station Pulse FM, established his cult status as a stalwart of the early 90's UK dance scene. A true pioneer, in his time Warlock has spearheaded the country's embrace of many, newly emergent sounds. In the late 90's, Warlock released experimental techno on seminal labels Praxis and Spiral Tribe's Network 23, before a stint as A&R at Kickin Records, where he nurtured release's from techno Gods DJ Hell and Surgeon. In 2002, he launched his own label, Rag & Bone Records, providing a outlet for the emergent sounds of Electro, 2-step and Breakbeat, courtesy of Aaron Spectre, King Cannibal, Kanji Kinetic, Stagga, and of course Warlock himself. Recently voted in Fact Magazine as one of the most underrated DJ's, recent years have seen Warlock's sonic emissions surface on seminal labels Hypercolour, Fat Hop, Yellow Machines, Frijsfo Beats, Skint and We Buy Gold. He currently hosts a weekly show on London's finest Kool FM, which perfectly showcases his in-depth knowledge of historical dance music, alongside his thirst for new sounds.

André Hommen - The Bottom Line Ep

Following his well received remix of Ane Brun 'To Let Myself Go' on Objektivity just a few weeks ago, it is finally time for André Hommen's very own, first ever solo EP called "The Bottom Line". This groovy number consists of three tracks that are style-wise all very different, showing off Hommen's wide range as producer. EP's title track 'The Bottom Line' was first featured in André's Boiler Room NY set (February, 2014), receiving great response and a massive "Track ID" -explosion on social media. 'Epiphany' and 'Reach Out' on the B side do not disappoint either - as groovy as they are energetic, they would fit well in different stages of any set. After being closely involved with the label for over six years, Andre's solo EP on Objektivity has finally arrived!
supported by: Josh Wink, Karotte, Felix Da Housecat, Santé, Rampa, Marc Romboy, Doc Martin, Blond:Ish, Flashmob, NTFO, NiCe7, Larse, Roger Sanchez, Gorge, Alex Niggemann,
Sidney Charles, Anja Schneider, Noir, Reboot, Till von Sein, Daniel Bortz, Re.You, Luca Bacchetti, Ben Pearce, Gel Abril, Riva Starr, Sebo K, Matthias Meyer, DJ T and more...
