Belfast's Seven Music returns with yet another 12" that sees the return of montel, a Belfast house head whose rise has been nothing short of meteoric. First surfacing in January of this year, montel has graced many of the underground House scene's best imprints with his straight up, no nonsense approach to House & Garage! Brooklyn's Let's Play House and Love Revolution, Paris's Skylax label and also UK based label, Midnight Love Club have all had the pleasure of this man joining their ranks in 2013! Kicking the release off in style is the intense cut "While The Record Spins" which is a full blown dance floor filler that captures the old skool sound with montel's own edge, with "Love Jones" maintaining the feel good vibes. Soaring synths, atmospheric breakdowns, and great use once again of smooth vocal samples. On the flip, "Hip Hop Anonymous" takes it back to the 90s, pairing an acidic bass line with a heavy rap vocal before the track erupts into pulsating ecstasy, whilst curtain closer 'Hold On' demonstrates montel's diversity, opting for a deeper feel that exudes a subtle Bass approach.

Purple Velvet is Chris James and Lee Dearn, two purveyors of deep and sensuous house music since forming in late 2011. Having gotten to know each other at various late night music sessions, the pair have increasingly honed their own house sound that's as suited to the dark confines of a club as it is the sunnier vibes of an outdoor terrace.

Considering the combined talents of Detroit veteran Terrence Dixon and Black Jazz Consortium man Fred P, you'd expect this split EP for Finale Sessions to be a lesson in warm, soul-flecked depth. Pleasingly, that's exactly what it delivers. Dixon excels with the sub-sporting alien futurism of "To The Bridge" - the aural equivalent of staring into space while dancing to electronic jazz - and the sumptuous, minor key bliss of the casual deep house jam "Starting Over". Fred P, meanwhile, delivers two contrasting cuts. There's some acid-fuelled deep house futurism in the shape of "Circuit", and a chunk of bongo-laden dancefloor humidity in "The Road", whose rising strings and sweet melodies are arguably the highlight of a superb EP.

Javier & Luis Garayalde aka Kyodai are back on Local Talk with their third release since the debut 'Breaking' back in 2012.As always we're thrilled to present new tracks from the duo whose been integral in establishing Local Talk.The pace is set with the first track 'Konbanwa', showcasing the duo's phenomenal skills in creating something both classic and modern by fusing a tight and driving groove, tension building chords and a bumpy bass hook to great effect. Believe us when we say it's been an absolute highlight in our DJ-sets thru out the summer.On 'So Special' the brothers go back to their roots and create a track that's got both the sound and feel of their previous tracks 'Breaking' and 'The Scene' - in other words, another big track from Kyodai ! .

Rare Wiri Records strikes back with four amazing remixes of the tracks we first released back in 2008.

We have the pleasure to include in our catalogue a grooveless track by the outstanding house head, Da Sunlounge. One of the most prolific UK's House artist of the last 15 years having release music in labels like Detour, 2020Vision, Tango or Double Down.

Oh Momma was originally released on GoodFamilly records almost 10 years ago. We have been playing it for years now so we decided to release again this catchy house track including some fresh remixes.

The original track has been remastered and refreshed by Da Sunlounge for this release. A groovy track with catchy vocals and jazzy piano samples that drives you back to the early 2000's House sound.

On the B side The Groove Brothers (Jef K and Rhythm&Soul) and Rhythm&Soul made two reworks. The first one takes the original track into an hypnotic side with a huge basse line. B1, keeps the jazzy side with another piano sample and a strong groove. Both reworking the original cut by keeping the groovy and moody sound of Da Sunlounge's track.

From the depths of Chicago-tempered raw house and techno the long-awaited release of Cracow-based producer and DJ Eltron John - Bomby EP (Eng. The Bombs) is a hell of a dance floor beast, mesmerizing with its darkness. The unsettling sound of Roland Juno 106 and the dark, murmuring vocal loop make the track a strong weapon of choice. The remixes: floating dub soundscape with raw appeal and bonus percussion track based on the original rhythm section by Edinburgh craftsman Linkwood, cater for those who search for a more tranquil sound on the B-side. This limited, 400 copies release is a homage to the rooted ideas about production and DJing. With the technical capabilities of the modern deejay in mind the record includes additional locked grooves and bonus beats tracks. Using two copies is recommended for an enhanced mixing experience

The next record from the bright young NDV stable comes from a couple of outrageously talented folk by the name of Chris Woodward and Antanas Antanelis. This is the first record from these guys and they're no novices. This crafted and heavy hitting slice of house is a perfect fit for the NDV mould. The Magnificent Afrikaan Donce EP is full of chunky house tones, shades of MPC, hip hop and sample based house along with a tougher edge.
These guys have a lot of experience releasing music under alternative monikers for labels like Drumpoet Community, Buzzin Fly and others, but it's NDV who get the courtesy of presenting their first offering as the duo Chris & Antanas.
To top it off, this EP has 2 remixes which don't mess about. Both of these blew us away, it is safe to say this whole record came together easily. First up we have the man, the legend........ MR G!! Fresh off the back of a new album and with plenty of fuel still in the tank, Mr G picks up the pace and applies his trademark rolling housey/techno groove to some thick and moody pads. He brings out a pure evolving feeling with this super clean re-cut.
The icing on this already delightful cake comes from Manchester's man of the moment - Oli Furness. A good friend and the fearless leader of Music Is love and MIL. He is on red hot form at the moment and flips the B side with some absolutely funkadelic swagger and jazz-tastic remoulding of the original....we're marking this remix as his finest work yet.

Luca C & Brigante make a welcomed first appearance on the unstoppable Hot Creations as they team up once again with the esteemed Róisín Murphy, after their massive 'Flash Of Light' collaboration released back in 2012.

Having had a break to work on their solo projects, here the duo conjure up one of their best releases to date. 'Invisions' is a wholly refreshing Italo House dream with old school melodic synths riding under Róisín's seamless vocal, and mixed by the legendary Eric Kupper. The release also features a 'Club Version' adding warm, rounded chimes and an infectious bassline. Hot Creations boss Jamie Jones delivers his 'Submerged Remix', deep and dark, destined for the earlier hours of the morning. The highly respected Luke Solomon also makes his first appearance on the label, rounding off the package with his 'Body Dub' version, directed straight at the dancefloor with a prominent hypnotic loop, driving hats and a distinctive, abstract melody.

A Mental Process' unveils Moreon & Baffa's fluid and organic house style for the Visionquest imprint after releasing on the Vision Quest Special Edition vinyl series in 2013 they are back with two great remixes from Ion Ludwig & Deadbeat.

'Penzar' is a bubbling broth of dubby beats while 'Idea' is a seething and intricate being, best heard loud and up close. Remixes come from Ion Ludwig and Deadbeat, both acclaimed for their refined and textured dance music style that complements this release perfectly.

Gustavo Romano & Emidio Falconi are Moreon & Baffa. Originally from Venezuela, America, they relocated to Barcelona in 2011. They have been close friends since the turn of the century, tirelessly working with the underground electronic scene in their home country - one a producer in the only 100% underground dance music radio show and the other a sound engineer and member of one of the most influential trip-hop, experimental bands in Latin America, Sur Carabela/ Chucknorris.

Ion Ludwig has been releasing his epic soundscape music characterized from its underground minimalism on labels such a Trelik, Quagmire and Tabla and is renowned for being one of the most distinctive producers and live acts around. Deadbeat is Scott Monteith, who has been releasing dub laden minimal electronics on labels such a Wagon Repair, BLKRTZ and Echocord since the turn of the century.

For our second release, Silence in Metropolis turns to Paraguayan producer P Lopez, whose deep house with a distinct urban flair (on labels like Dogmatik and Keep Up) has won support from the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Alex Arnout and Tom Findlay of Groove Armada fame.

The title track "Shame" has an infectious groove and punchy kick drum at its core set off against 909 snares & hi-hats. The percussion is skippy and garage leaning whilst the nimble bassline bounces up and down the scale and takes you with it.

Fast rising Hot Waves producer and Leeds based DJ Matt Fear delivers a sure-fire dancefloor bomb of a remix which is catchy but classy at the same time. He imbues the track with more drama and elasticity, raw machine lines lacing up drum fills, weird FX and a killer bassline finished off with breathy vocal cries.

B-Side track "Keeping Up" has plenty of celestial key patterns up top as a tight kick clap combo powers on below. Propulsive yet rich with emotion, it's a stylishly tripped out and late night house track that will have the right dancefloors locked in the driving deep house groove.

This time the remix comes from DJ Hell and Alex Niggemann endorsed producer George Carrasco aka Matches. His remix stumbles and tumbles through rich drums, classic sounding percussion and an aqueous and mysterious ambiance that always retains your focus.

Ralph Lawson's new Lost in Time series continues with the second instalment 'Lost in Space'. The first edition was well received selling out it's first vinyl pressing very quickly. Lost in Space EP continues the output from Lawson alongside original production partner Carl Finlow and the Ibizan-Italian maestro Tuccillo. The series is the result of over two years in studios in Leeds, Paris and Ibiza. Recorded as ideas in Lawson's 'The Drive' studio the tracks were taken to Ibiza in early 2014 to Tuccillo's entirely analog 'Unblock' studios to embellish, finish and run through his awesome gear. Working to a strict ethos of 100% analog signal, live recordings, real synths and drum machines and a truly dub method, over the course of a single week, the guys completed 16 versions of new material. These will be released on vinyl for the Lost in Time series over the next year.

Lost in Space features three new tracks. Two versions of the same theme theme 'Lost in Space' and 'Throb' are no nonsense techno for purists. Insistent Roland TR909 rhythms drive mesmerising synths from Finlow and Tuccillo while the board is worked in a dub style with live drops, reverbs and delays added on the fly. The series is inspired by the classic dub studio sessions of King Tubby. The crew watched and learnt how the King made dubs then applied the process to electronic 'riddims' of their own. On the other side 'Kings' stands proud as a testament to Chicago house music while updating the sound with a fresh modern approach to sounds. Lawson's original vintage Linn Drum got a dusting off and stands at the heart of the beats while Korg, Moog and Juno synths add depth warmth and authenticity. All completed by chants and vocal cuts.

Already known for his phat basslines and raw attitude towards his production, S.Jay does not hold back on any of his tracks for the record.

The EP is a fusion of clever samples with pounding drum grooves and bass lines that will be just at home in main rooms as well as dark underground holes.

The title of the EP 'You Want It' kicks off the record nicely with its catchy and almost addictive vocal, underlined by dark subby stabs and a jackin beat throughout.

'Away From Me' backs up that S. Jay is no one hit wonder as he provides us with another lead track blending his passion for garage and house music together and a bassline that will keep your feet moving like your cast under a wizards spell!

'Ohh Dub' provides an alternative direction where it is flavoured with raw underground grooves and a huge deep melodic weapon of a bassline.

Paco Wegmann steps up on remix duties for 'Ohh Dub' and infuses Chicago and Detroit house elements complementing the track with an extra thuddy bass drum and glitched vocals for some fresh identity.
