KHT 002 comes from AFFIE YUSUF, a longtime legendary producer from London, who has released tons of tracks solo and in groups on labels such as Ferox, Force inc and many more.
Meeting AFFIE YUSUF for the first time via internet was like meeting an old friend. A sympathy for the devil was our common sense and after hearing some of his unreleased music it was obvious we needed to get closer.
For his first release on KILLEKILL he has sent us so many good tracks it was not easy for us to compile the first release.
But here we go now with the I'm Free EP, a 12' full of house as we like it. Raw as shit and full of fun, funk and energy!

The last time Alejandro Mosso released one of his original productions on Airdrop, he was still operating under his Funzion alias. Released in April 2008 and designed with Franco Cinelli, the Singa*Pure EP left a distinctive footprint on many wooden and concrete floors. The Mendoza-born producer is now back, revealing here one of the highlights of the new live performance he has presented throughout Europe and Japan over the last year, 'Nightwalker' - a cutthroat, synth-driven number, which slightly departs from Mosso's usual signature sound. On the flip, who better to spread some funk and soot than legendary Frankfurt artist LoSoul One cannot possibly forget his 2008 title 'West Side Horn' on Playhouse - the one that actually made us think how most appropriate the LoSoul treatment would be on Nightwalker... we were not wrong!

After starring on the One Records various artists release earlier this year with the heavy-duty hit 'Gorilla', DC10 hero DJ W!ld is back on board the label with 'Circo Fever' featuring two original tracks with remixes from label boss Adam Shelton, fellow DC10 legend Clive Henry and one of Portugal's finest exports, Rui Da Silva.
Keeping in touch with true DJ W!ld style, the aptly named 'Circo Fever' perfectly pinpoints the chugging house sound that the prolific French artist has become so well known for. Riding out along a solid groove of rolling pacey percussions, the epic synths soon sweep in for a dramatic affair and all engulfing dance floor effect. An electrifying breakdown is central with the powerful bass and magnetic vocals coming back into play for an intoxicating sensation. Tried and tested by some of the biggest names in the business including label heads Subb -an and Adam Shelton there is no doubt this is the essential DJ weapon of the summer.

Together with Sol Power All-Stars on the mix we get three killer club cuts that will make your tropical funk party go totally bananas.No matter which cut is your preferred choice we're pretty sure you won't be dissapointed with any of them...they're all solid!.

Jimpster's back with a new single on Freerange and it's time to expect the unexpected. 'These Times', featuring Beauty Room vocalist Jinadu' has all the hallmarks of a Jimpster deep house classic, pushing things further still with the addition of a beautiful vocal, live instrumentation and masterful arrangement.
· Jimpster's currently putting the finishing touches to his 5th studio album, due for release soon.
· Jinadu is a key member of The Beauty Room project alongside Kirk Degiorgio. Their incredible second studio album is forthcoming on Far Out

Following on from Torquato and Boghosian's acclaimed debut on Yoruba is this, a selection of remixes diverse and interesting enough to do justice to the original LP, which received praise for the rich tapestry of musical sources it drew influence from.First up, Afefe Iku delivers a much deeper, weightier version of Paradice laden with heavy synth stabs and woody percussive elements.Aybee takes When U Touch Me - probably the standout 'club track' on the original LP - into much deeper realms, stripping back the original groove . It's remarkably simple but flawlessly executed, the chord motif working effortlessly alongside the crisp hats.
Atone tackles Zulu Girl and in the process unravels a much more mechanical track, a massive mid-tempo thud dominating over delayed cymbal crashes and ghostly vocals.

The excellent Black Key Records returns with its first multi artist release, the eponymously titled 'Black Key EP' featuring BLM, Flori & James Johnston.
Brighton based Black Key Records has built a strong following for its individual take on deep, underground house music. Releases from Jonny Cade, Andy Ash & Chamboche, backed with remixes from Ethyl, Ugly Drums and BLM have given Black Key an instant kudos. Now the Black Key team look to the release of their first multi artist EP featuring three superb cuts, from three outstanding producers.

Deep Edition Recordings 2nd wax pressing welcomes a newcomer to the label in the form of Acasual, a secretive producer, artist and designer originally from Luxembourg and now based in Germany, has been heavily influenced by the city's underground House & Techno culture. Acasual is a project focusing, among others, on music production without any limitations or specific genres, taking its inspiration from art in general. His sound is Melodic and very expressive and always searching to keep it simple. The Blue Ep lays down 2 very cool deep house tracks with a great selection of vocals and grooves.
On Remix duties we are excited to welcome Matches, this guy is already very popular from his tracks and remixes with Danny Daze and after featuring on Noir, Toolroom, Defected & Draft this guy is literally about to blow up onto the scene in a big way! His style of cool crisp and really well produced house has seen him making big waves from over in Miami and with this remix he is on form, taking the lead track from the depths of deep into a mainroom groover.
On the B-side Martijn label head and artist of Neurotraxx Deluxe & Save Room provides a remix of 'Still Got It' adding a touch of pace to the slowed vocal track and dubbing down the vocal giving the lush use of chords time to breath and roll over the new added groove.

Just when we had our doubts about the West Coast, Los Angeles via NYC producer Delroy Edwards steps up with his debut release for L.I.E.S. Musically Edwards takes his influences from that Barney's Ghetto sound with oversaturated 909 shuffling highs, DX bells, 101 filters and ends up making fresh, and yes, melodic ghetto style tracks that somehow get stuck in your head even without vocals. A unique take on a modern classic with the dancefloor in mind.

Anonymous artist reveals a diversity w/3 tracker. The EP starts off with a Tangerine Dream vibe, moves into jackin' territory, & finishes on a deep melodic tip. Good response from Nebraska, Disco Nihilist, Infinitestatemachine, et al.

The Producer who is also an excellent DJ, has been making music with his collection of analogue equipment for more than a decade. With his steady output on labels like Trapez, Curle, Greta Cottage Workshop, Resolute and Mule he has established himself as one of Germany´s top addresses in terms of deep and soulful electronic music and has managed to create his own unique sound signature.With his DCNT project De Costa transports his very emotional way of producing music into something more focused and straightforward. You can hear this on our latest Platte 005 Release, which presents a nice range of styles over four tracks, that make it as useful for DJing as it is for home listening. The latter becomes very obvious with Abyss, the B1 track that gives the 12-inch its name. Breaking out of the 4×4 template this Neo-Detroit journey is a good example for De Costas ability in building up dense and complex ambient synthscapes and melodies that steadily evolve into ecstasy.
Komakim comes along with a flat beat like bassline garnished with a chordy synth stab that makes the track a testament to the power of simplicity in dance music.With Strawdraw and Irvine on the A-side of the single, the tooliness is very obvious. Both tracks intelligently rely on the fundamental elements of music pitch, rhythm and time. Pounding bass heavy grooves and loose rippling drum patterns sound like the producer turned of his sequencers grid to create a record that is so obviously both vintage and current at the same time.
