Rob Amboule is a relatively fresh name on the scene, the young artist stepped onto 2020Vision's radar following the London based producers self released white-label, KERRI01. A record which put Amboule on the map and was heavily supported by the likes of Paul Woolford, who closed the Space Terrace with one of the cuts last year, and Heidi on her Radio 1 show. This introductory single has now led to a full EP of original material for 2020 here, joining the likes of Ejeca, Huxley and Maya Jane Coles on the roster.

The release kicks off with 'Kerri', a raw deep house cut, embracing a classic aesthetic, the record employs an amalgamation of cutting chords, blooming pads and vocal snippets, running alongside swinging 909 drums. 'Pushin' On' follows, displaying a more understated, reserved approach to Amboule's productions, as he tightly blends swirling pads, resonant synths, and shuffling percussion, with sensual vocal lines uttering the tracks title. Amboule adds a further musicality to the track in the centre stages, throwing in a tension building synth string for good measure.

Last up to close the single is 'Part Three', taking on a retro US House approach, with its crunchy claps, warm, evolving Rhodes melodies and stabbing bass hooks, these elements build the foundations of the record while subtle nuances in the drum programming and background atmospherics add character.

Permanently re-inventing himself Peter Clamat, Big Bait Records owner, the artist of UKNOWY, Neovinyl Recordings and already appearing on Sex Panda White with Neptune EP with Ishmael & Leo Wölfel remixes is the man after the opening 'Living Color' track, full of energy, deep chords and raw house drums.
Moony Me is a German-Venezuelan producer and DJ, based in Munich/Vienna, signed to Uncanny Valley, Apparel Music, Toy Tonics. He takes the next step on the release with 'State Of Bliss' played around the melodic arpeggios, screaming vocals and authentic house energy.
Anonymous guy Mystep is a sound producer and singer with releases on Large Music, Apparel Music, Lapsus Music working with major singers in electronic world like Cari Golden, Burnski's voice Beckford and Rahjwanti, is putting his hand to the smooth and laidback deep & funky 'Think' track featuring the vocals by Parisian LaVoyce.
The track elegantly performed by Mystep & LaVoyce is somewhere between deep house and funk, rich with guitars, hammond organs is the good story in the end.
We are very happy to have Americans Pools who after producing the album from our friends from Razor-N-Tape found time to contribute for full length release on Sex Panda White (oops, soon to follow) and 'Etobicoke' - the chill edit which is the logical ending of the whole 'Colors' release.

Starting off with S-ampel, having released on labels like One records, Dekay and downhill music- he delivers 2 tracks that will fill your dancefloors for sure with his caracteristic hypnotic sound with heavy baselines.


To round Out thing up, comes from our south American fellas.... Kike Mayor (Saint&dont) and Bruno Schiavi(Drumma Records) taking things Deeper for the early evening or afters.

Deep Space Orchestra is Chris Barker and Simon Murray, a pair of mature music lovers who have been DJing and making music for years. When together they conjure up emotive soundscapes full of lithe and rubbery bass, rich synth patterns and authentic real world textures. They have done so on their own labels Jack & Wang and Use of Weapons, as well as on Delusions of Grandeur, Foto Recordings, Quintessentials and Scenery. Never repeating the same trick twice, they conjure up original moods and grooves that don't rely on trends of the day nor obvious sample pack sounds.

Given their considered outlook, it is no wonder Memory is not just a collection of tracks. Instead it is a complete piece of work that has been cooked up over the last three years and has largely been born from a collection of gear they bought with a view to starting to play live. As such it finds them experiment with all manner of new sounds and techniques, and the results are triumphant indeed.

Things kick off with 'Feel No Pain,' a melodically dense and frazzled cut with a crisp boom bap drive that carries us to outer space. From there, the pair lay out intergalactic house sounds littered with spoken word snippets and perfectly poised synth patterns as per 'Selassie' and the suggestively electro tinged cut 'Let's Save.'

Even when the tempo picks up and things grow more physical such as on 'Voodoo Wingman', real musicality and proper arrangements still remain. More introverted, bass led tracks like 'Dream States' do a fine job of connecting with our inner, visceral lust for rhythm and brain soothing, car driving sound tracks come stoned synthscapes like 'Mission Hills' and colourful closer 'Starman' are genuinely emotional affairs that truly resonate.

Following up from that brilliant Tom Dicicco from last year, the notorious GCZ is back on his own label. This time he switches the arpeggiators to 'BODY' and it's all go... for a while. Two more tool type versions on the flip..for the DJs. Big Tip from one of our favs!

IMPORTED RECORDINGS WAS BORN... Following 3 years of Parisian parties, featuring 20 of the world's finest DJ's from right across Europe and the U.S, the Imported crew finally gave birth to its baby, Imported Recordings. Building on the promotion of foreign artists in France, Imported have come full circle, now concentrating on showcasing locally grown French talent all over the world. This first record introduces four French artists that they feel are artists to follow. The record opens with Mara Lakour's Rough Crew", a 5-minute fresh and racy deep-house track, unveiling the first rays of summer. After the hit Tribute To GU' on their first 12 'Roots For Bloom', the pair continue to reveal innovative techniques to deliver fresh and experimental sounds. Seamus, a resourceful and inspired co-founder of the project, has finally returned to conclude the A side with Sunshine", a progressive and muscled track referencing the American and European scene. Sunshine' has a rich and textured sound, heavy with the chords and vocals that are so dear to the Parisian producer. Two friends, born and raised in the south of France create Dub Striker, whose sole aim is to devastate the floor with the powerful bass and infectious beat in Walking Dude' which, within a few seconds, sets the tone for the B side. In true connoisseurs, the two friends born and raised in the south of France sign with this track oriented dancefloor an anthem of rare efficiency. Finally, Ortella leaves his mark on the EP with Trouble Maker". A powerful and thoughtful track, Trouble Maker", demonstrates the Lyonnais' expertise as master alchemist, conjuring up and delivering a dose of raw musical power in those darkest hours closest to dawn.

Our next vinyl is by Marcelo Bertinetti, This time with a Single and three remixes by Marc Cotterell, Martin Bellomo y Guillermo de Caminos. Marc Cotterell, owner of one of the most recognized record labels in the American and world wide scene of House music. With multiple releases in digital and vinyl, he got us accustomed to the sounds of Garage House, Chicago and Classic Detroit. Marc perfectly showed what our record label looks for in terms of House sounds by excellence. Martin Bellomo is in charged of one of the famous record labels in the local scene, "Myhouse Yourhouse", where a lot of the great local talents had the opportunity of release their music. Martin gives us a unique and very high quality remix. Guillermo de Caminos is the owner of the also famous record store and studio called "La Montaña Dj" located in the city of Rosario where a lot of good artists are born. Guille presents us an amazingversion with all the inevitable force of the Tech House.

Christian B and Lavvy Levan's Friday Fox Recordings release the first instalment of their "Sounds from the Den". The vinyl 4 tracker showcasing more underground talent from around the world and hidden gems from the Friday Fox vault. After recent Top 20 Traxsource and Juno tracks this year for Friday Fox this is sure to cause a stir. Including tracks from Christian B and Lavvy Levan themselves, Rudi Botha and Miggza (South Afirca), Fatty Mombassa (UK) and Romi Buns (Canada) there's something to set every dancefloor on fire.

City Fly are very excited to present their latest 12 inch, this time coming from long time friend of the label and all round powerhouse Kez YM. The Leicester label have long been representing for the East Midlands underground house scene, bringing local talent to the world and bringing global connections to their locale. Hot off the back of their 10th release celebration VA and a strong offering from legend Tim Toh, the Japanese connoisseur Kez YM is back with more of the goodness that has made him a favourite of the label from such an early stage.

The EP drips with Kez's trademark blend of deepness, kicking off with the heads down groover of 'Bump into the Sky'. Next up 'Eagle Eye' builds around crisp 909 drums and a super tight bass line. Pure classic vibes from start to finish. Over on the flip 'My Joy' is underpinned by deep, jazzy chords and finishing off we have 'Spiral Traffic' which takes things to a new tip entirely with an almost Latin feel to the chord patterns.

More than 20 years since its original release, Metroplex are offering us another chance at one of Detroit's most significant tracks: "Model 500 - No UFO's". The double-pack will contain the original vocal- and instrumental mix on the first disc, whilst the second disc will contain tributes by Luciano and native Detroiter Moodymann. First we start with The Flip a proven mystical track for heated dancefloors, pulsating beatz and ephimeral vocals travel through fine pads and chords.
