A new label services deal with !K7 was announced this year that will see the relaunch of the Two Hundred & Forty Volts label and for the first time ever the entire Swayzak back catalogue will be made available digitally on October 28.

To celebrate the re-launch and ultimately draw a line under the old material a 19 track retrospective will released shortly afterwards on Dec 1.

The 'Lost Tapes' compilation will include some of their seminal classics, unreleased versions and a brand new single from Swayzak & Richard Davis, all paving way for the new album next year.

After his joint ep with Sascha Sibler and his fabulous contribution for the ten years anniversary compilation of the label, Daniel Bortz returns to Permanent Vacation with his first solo EP since the infamous "Bella Avgvsta" Trilogy. Four tracks that are hard to pigeonhole and show the great variety of Daniel Bortz's production skills: You will find euphoric techno, hard hitting Dub, cinematic breakbeats and heart warming electronica, all dancing harmonically in a giant echo chamber.

DJ, musician, former saxophonist - there's a combination of skills you don't get to see too often. Get acquainted with DEMIAN, then, aka Damien Pontonnier, a French artist who relocated to Paris after an influential career as

electronic music pioneer and party organizer in Northern Spain. Now an accomplished producer with releases on labels such as Correspondant or Clouded Vision, he presents the MILESTARS EP for Kompakt - a quirky and vibrant track trio with an obvious knack for catchy melodic details in a kinetic techno corsage.

Having amassed quite the experience portfolio when it comes to grassroots club culture, DEMIAN knows a thing or two about inspiring a dance floor - but that doesn't necessarily account for the artistic versatility or genuine lust for sonic adventures and happy accidents that these cuts exhibit: opener DÉCLICA boots with deliciously stoic cowbell-isms that leave the doors of perception wide open for some iconoclastic, yet surprisingly effective synth action.

Meanwhile, the title cut invests in texture-rich atmosphere without forgetting about the precise amount of momentum you need to tip the floor over the edge. Closer NO HYPE FOR THE FISH takes things in a more hypnotic direction, intertwining freeform arpeggios and tape delay with smart beatmanship. Simultaneously lush and lean in its overall aesthetic, the MILESTARS EP will feed both the nerd and the dancer in you - a swiss army knife with all the right tools for masterful crowd control.

An addendum horrificata to the fantastic LP, Haex-Hrll AKA DJ Overdose returns from the nether regions of space with a louder dancefloor cut of sleeper hit 'North Of Warren' accompanied by witchy and dread filled extras. Remixes are provided by label heads Antoni Maiovvi who takes Test Tube Babies from the 'Further From The Truth' LP into tripped out waters and Vercetti Technicolor, who reimagines 'North Of Warren' for blood-soaked 90s Hollywood vampires. Benedikt Frey has been part of the extended family since his remix of CAR's Idle Eyes and we crossed paths a few times at Robert Johnson in Frankfurt. INIT, his project with his other half Nadia d'Alò, has seen releases on neighbours such as Hivern or Correspondant, our door was naturally open to their pretty personal brand of 'off-kilter techno' as RA says.

STEREOMETRIC is almost a definition of INIT's acid mind. Failing their own tricks, heavy atmosphere and unusual restraint. NUTS is almost an instrumental extension of the title track, when your head finally hit that window pane. WHEELS slows the rush down, wandering on an imaginary Khyber pass. This is only deception though, MINDWORK being a real exercise in post-goa trance.

RAAM reveal a more powerful and rawer side to his production on this EP that still packs deepnes, whilst exploring techno themes. Rolling, rhythmic bassline and flickering synth lines over tight drums on '7', stab synths rise out of the raw depths on '77'. On the flip '7' get a remix treatment by SKUDGE who transforms the track into a raw and dubby techno tool. The EP ends with '777', a beatless melancholic track with emotionally and fuzzing pads that drifts towards the horizon.

The highly anticipated third installment of the Sounds from the Den series returns via Friday Fox Recordings - hitting on Vinyl in early 2017. The release kicks off with an understated and rather sensual outing from Christian B & Lavvy Levan; 'Through The Night' combines subtle classic vocal snips with sultry jazz piano chords and an addictive off-beat bassline. Russia's Promonova serves up his first ever track for Friday Fox; 'Feel Alright This Morning' expertly delivers a high-energy percussive journey, perfectly complimented by some sprightly and authentically gospel vocals. 'No Trouble' has a fresh and dark lick courtesy of Riki Inocente. Bordering on a tech-style, Riki takes this well-known vocal track down a path less travelled with a deep bassline and eerie strings laid over straight and solid percussion.
And finally, the HUGE 'Heat' from Rapson gets a much-welcomed edit, stretching the track to a DJ friendly length, and features some added beef thanks to new percussion arrangements. Fire.

Die kraftvolle Soundwelt des ersten Songs ist eine klare Aussage. Elektronische Musik muss nicht dunkel und zwischen vier Wänden ohne Tageslicht versteckt sein. Rey & Kjavik veröffentlicht seinen ersten Longplayer namens "RKADASH" auf Katermukke und ist vielseitig und unerwartet erfrischend. Bekannt für seine kraftvollen Dj Sets zeigt der Frankfurter Produzent mit diesem Release einige neue Fähigkeiten.Der Track "Ulima" zeichnet sich durch ethnische Reime, einem hypnotischen Gesang und interessanten Synth Akkorden aus. "Saraswati" ist der Track zum meditieren während getanzt wird- ein bewegter Rhythmus, der jede Menge Raum für Körperbewegung bietet.
Eine neue Version von "Baba City" bringt orientalische Rhythmen in den Vordergrund. Andre Crom is back with what are likely to be the biggest club trax of his career so far.

'Circuit' and 'Breaker' are peaktime techno tools with overdriven drums, relentlessly functional arrangements, and a massive dancefloor potential.

'Circuit' builds with a strong bass fundament consisting of a woofer-shattering kick and a syncopated low-tom-bassline, adding interchanging percussion patterns and the name-giving vocal, before resolving into siren-style synth sweeps which build into the break.

'Breaker' relies on a similar mainroom techno drum pattern, but replaces the vocal and synth for an energetic acid bassline, sure to fuel every dancefloor with a rush of energy, and reminiscing of 90ies-techno.

Collaborating with producers Cassy holds in high regard is the modus operandi of her newly launched label, Kwench Records. Powered by the finesse of US veteran Pete Moss, the fourth EP dips the imprint into a slicker, more sensual side to house music. And adding fire to the flame is the legendary Ron Trent, who completes the release with a scorching ten-minute remix.

Cassy launched Kwench Records with a burning appetite to create house music with esteemed producers whose careers could be defined by their eagerness to experiment. With her championing Moss's and Trent's productions for years, she approached the fourth release confident that their collaborative material would be dynamite.

Cassy, among hundreds of her peers in the dance music sphere, has been an ardent admirer of Chicago house hero Ron Trent for years. With a huge back catalogue dating back to 1990 it's safe to say he holds a special place within dance music.

Franck Roger reunites with vocal powerhouse Mandel Turner for one of the year's most infectious tracks, 'Through The Motions'. The product of a melting pot of inspirations, 'Through The Motions' features a hilarious spoken-word sample, Mandel's ultra smooth vocal contribution and louche, hypnotic atmosphere underpinned by a laid back BPM.Franck and Mandel first got together on one of last year's dancefloor smashes, the superlative 'After All'. The twosome found common ground through their love of eighties and nineties New York musical culture. Mandel being one of the fortunate few to have spent time at Larry Levan's Paradise Garage, where the magic really happened week in, week out for over a decade between the mid- seventies and mid-eighties. Franck and Mandel formed a strong friendship and decided to continue their working relationship by reuniting for 'Through The Motions'.Franck concocted the track's continuous linear beat after finding inspiration in one of his favourite tracks, the cult classic 'Make Me Dance (Hard For The DJ) by Nu Groove legend Basil Hardhaus. Later, during their studio sessions, Franck and Mandel came up with the hook This time derived from a cult track from the nineties New Jersey scene, 'Goin' Through The Motions' by Keisha Jenkins and produced by New York duo, Blaze. Add to that a side-splitting vocal sample and 'Through The Motions' was born.Just like 'After All', 'Through The Motions' is proof that the partnership between Franck Roger and Mandel Turner is one that can Produce Instant classics. Their joint musical heritage combined with a variety of influences, from both house and many other genres, Giving to high Quality contemporary electronic music.

Two of dance music's hottest producers coalesce on the latest Hot Creations release. Frank Storm and Matteo Spedicati bring us Gimme Tha Honey, a throbbing three-track EP that gifts us with a rework from Robsoul label boss Phil Weeks.

Frank Storm reveals "this is our first collaboration which was born a year ago in our studio in Barcelona. We share the same passion for our own definition of the ghetto sound, blending fresh and techy vibes.' With this inspiration they weave an almost menacing vocal into the pulsating bassline of lead track Gimme Tha Honey. The Phil Weeks remix brings a slither of light with a shower of synths and warm, bubbling bass. The EP closes with The Long Wait shaking the record into heavier terrain, as the industrial keys are underpinned by a flurry of tough drums.

Frank Storm has been a key player on the White Isle having played at some of the Island's biggest clubs; Space, Sankey's, Pacha, Ministry of Sound and Zoo Project, as well holding down a residency at the night Unusual Suspects. Matteo Spedicati began releasing music in 2006 and has received support from Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin. Since then he's gone on to work with such high profile names as Joseph Capriati and Mendo, as well as releasing records on an abundance of top labels.

Arriving shortly after Midland's 'Double Feature' EP, the 2nd release on the his newly launched ReGraded imprint comes in the form of the 'Sanctified EP' from new comer Hubie Davison. First hearing Sanctified played out in the blurry confines of Glastonbury's NYC Downlow, it became a staple of Midland's sets throughout the summer. Having witnessed it reduce dance floors from Panorama Bar to Dekmantel Festival to smiling heaps he contacted Hubie to see if he would consider it for the second release on the label. The B-side entitled 'Watchasay' swiftly followed and REGRD002 was realised; Heavy sampling, disco breaks and great edits align it perfectly with the labels manifesto.

Making his debut on the label, Spanish producer Kuo Climax is welcomed to the Hot Creations fold. A solid two track release that has already been heating up dancefloors across the globe, the talented artist showcases his distinct style and proves why he is hotly tipped for 2018.

The EP opens up with Whyte, a pulsating track with a warped bassline and oozing synths. Two and a half minutes deep it disperses into a breakbeat-esque breakdown that dives back into the familiar 4/4 beat. Title track Nacrem is a smooth roller with an underpinning bass and intergalactic vocal stabs. The EP highlights the Spanish producer's ability to bring balance to his output, providing music perfectly attuned for the floor.

Born in Malaga and now residing in Barcelona, Kuo Climax has released on respected labels such as Knee Deep In Sound, Solid Grooves and VIVa MUSiC. 2018 will see the producer launch his own vinyl-only imprint, LFOFL, that aims to recognise the progress in technology without losing the essence of true dance music.

After a two year hiatus Graded is back with label founder Midland at the controls and its been worth the wait. Graded003 picks up where Midland's 2013 Drumtrak left off, left of centre club music for warehouses and basements alike. The A-side 'Blush' first aired during a particularly warm Boiler Room recording in Milan last summer. It turned heads on the night and has garnered endless ID requests on the recording ever since. Stuttering rolling percussion and a synth line as bold as it is unusual make this one a very strong club tool. On the B-side 'Outpost' and 'Holdup' take a deeper turn, rich in suspense and expertly programmed drums, they're unmistakably Midland productions drawn from the more obscure corners of his sound pallet.

Ecuadorian Carloh's passion for music began at an early age, learning the art of turntablism from his father and uncle, both of whom were DJs. Heavily influenced by the native instruments of his country and the folk music of the Andes Mountains, his knowledge of modern and traditional is reflected in the latest release on Hot Creations.

The EP opens up with title track Sound Pump. Alien-like noises float amongst the powerful, thudding drums before descending into a crescendo of hurried synths that are smashed into outer space by that classic jackin' beat. This is swiftly followed by the dark and looming bassline of It's Like Before, littered with twinkling, cosmic synths it's work's a treat!

Claiming he wants to 'rescue the sound of classic house', the talented producer has forged a musical style that strikes the perfect balance between old and new. Describing himself as a pioneer of the musical genre 'Andes House', Carloh has previously released records on Desolat, Baumsounds and I'm A House Gangster.

Uber cool Belgian vinyl only label Muzik & Friendz return with another fantastic cut from Pat Lezizmo this time collaborating with fellow countryman Chris Hingher (Nervous Records). Having recently graced the pages of Mixmag with his last outing on the imprint, label boss Pat closes out the summer via 'Without You' a stunning deep vocal track featuring the sweet tones of Melaverde.

Packed full of energy and infused with balearic tones, driving bass and a blissful break this limited edition vinyl run also features 3 remixes from Sebastian Davidson, Lumoon & Robin and Vijay & Sofia Zlatko.

Ditongo is telling tales through samples and loops in these two tracks. Divided into two chapters each (spot the ghost-marker on the vinyl), he digs deep into samba for the first time with 'Berimbau', giving the leading role to a hypnotic organ, while the second track 'You Know Nothing' goes back to funk, dominated by a fat bassline.

Taken from Gabe Gurnsey's upcoming debut solo LP, 'Physical' on Phantasy, 'Eyes Over' zones in on a proto-Hacienda groove that's undistilled militant funk, loose and lucid elements of electro and dub-laden drums conspire to offer an alluring landscape for Gurnsey's restless vocals. The harder-hitting Extended Dub takes more precise aim at the dancefloor, allowing each disparate, analogue element more room to unfold across a throbbing baseline.

Music and many others. Here one of his big hitters 'Let Me
Go' feat. Elif Biçer gets remixed by deep house legend Fred
P, as well as Leo Cubanero and Deadbeat. New York's
Soul People boss and underground talent Fred P goes rst
and unsurprisingly his track is spiritual and way below the
surface, with emotive female vocal coos and skipping
drums all laced up in mesmerising and soulful pads. Then
comes Leo Cubanero, who has been producing on label like
Festplatten and Nachtfrequent since 2003, and he ips the
track into a liquid tech house affair with libidinous vocals
and freaky synths and pads that add as spooky air to
proceedings. Lastly, Montrealer DeadBeat lays down a
sublime minimal dub remix that is gooey and lazy, elastic
and seductive in all the right ways, especially when the sexy
vocal comes in. This is a connoisseur package of deep
house that breathes plenty of great new life into the Marc
Miroir & Elif Biçer original.

For Club Lonely's fifth release they tapped Alden Tyrell and Ben Sims to split a 12 Inch of jacking club tunes. No animals were harmed in the making to this record.
