Fuse sub-label Infuse drops the 'Dirtdrive' EP by Einzelkind this January, opening 2014 for the imprint with a heavy hitting two-tracker.
Einzelkind has been a driving force in the world of underground house music for nearly a decade, rising to fame through releases on Get Physical, Playhouse, Mule Electronic, Cocoon and WHITE as well as the infamous La Peña and Pressure Trax (run with Frost) imprints.
Here Einzelkind joins the Infuse roster, once again bringing up-front dance floor focused grooves, following on from a string of various artist releases that kick started the label.
Title track 'Dirtdrive' is up first, a subtly evolving, ethereal number fuelled by cavernous atmospheres, a vigorous tom-driven rhythm and an amalgamation of processed spoken word vocal licks.
While the latter stages introduce an infectious resonant bass hook to further stimulate the heady, mind-bending feel of the record.
Then on the flip side we have 'Bless' which tips the focus towards direct 4/4 percussion, rumbling sub bass, crowd recordings, Latin speech and jazzy piano rolls. Creating another piece instilled with the distinctive Einzelkind sound, nodding to the La Peña productions and embodying a chuggy insistent groove for the peak-time hours.

Kia ora to Ipolynesia! The electronic island where shakin' coconut grooves and flowin' melodies are served round the clock by some beautiful islanders right on the sandy shores. And for this record the two castaways Bunched (Grain Audio, Mangue) and Tinush (Ton Liebt Klang, Ostfunk) were washed up on the sandy, white shores of Ipolynesia to spread some danceable tunes for sunny days and sweat nights. And look there: Our natives Alec Troniq and Mentalic also just climbed down the palm trees to mix some shakes for the castaways. And their sound fits just like the girls who dance to it. So see you all on Ipolynesia. Kia ora and koutou katou!

Today Johannes makes his debut on Stephan Bodzin's, Herzblut Recordings. His wondrous three track selection sees him treat us to the beautifully smooth and deep, "High Five." The spritely keys and squelchy bass of "No Mind" and the bass-heavy and dare we say it, trippy, "Tryptamine."

Josh Butler debuts the newest and deepest incarnation of his already extensive repertoire with KAHU.
KAHU is the Harrier Eagle of Maori mythology. Josh grew up in the picturesque Bay of Islands, New Zealand, where Maori culture played a big part of his teenage years.
The experiences in New Zealand helped him realize the direction he wanted to take his life and gave him the time and inspiration to focus on music. Musically, KAHU has become a concept that has allowed Josh to explore areas of his taste outside what people may expect. The tracks draw influence from tribal rhythms but are manifested within a hard, yet stripped back, minimal style.
This limited edition vinyl-only project showcases a darker side to the underground House Josh Butler has become synonymous with..

Opening their doors every Saturday for mind-altering shock treatment, Power Station has been giving their raging punters a potent dose of megawatt reality. Their curatorial expertise has established an institution that will now extend the mythical energy generated with a record label in the form of annual limited 12"/digital compilations, grouping tracks that have already become the club's signature tunes. Resident, booker and co-founder Kris Baha finds himself on both sides of the inaugural disc, with the ball of confusion solo production 'Something Something, and again as Heavy Concern in collaboration with Otologic's Nick Murray, a name synonymous with the Melbourne club circuit being one quarter of the Animals Dancing massive. Young gun Disrute captures the optimum warm up set with the shape shifting slow burner 'Ka-Bu' while scene veteran and Haul Music boss Mike Callander discovers a new lab mutation of sci-fi soundtrack, damaged funk and cerebral house.

With almost 50 digital releases in the space of 8 years, it's about time we gave the vinyl junkies what they want: Lazerslut on wax. An intense studio period recently took place and the three originals on this release come straight from the obscure soul of Miro, a genius mind backed by two decades worth of music production experience. The EP comes topped with a remix by Troy Pierce.
A1: I Believe In You is unerringly THE Pajic-sound! On a tight groovin' bass line, the low sneaking voice babbles on a bubbling background until a nasty squeak makes the track go mad.
A2: Ghetto Haus has nothing to do with today's G-House movement. It's Miro's definition of a loopy voice cut, grazing on a seemingly endless cheep with a dirty bass to match.
On the B-Side, Troy Pierce delivers a masterful slice of weirdness with the Jak Da Beat Remix of I Believe In You. The Items&Things producer induces mysterious spaces on a beat full of suspense, creating an ideal backdrop for those more special experiences.
Last but not least, See The Stars shows once again how tight rhythms can be. Shuffled hats and well-directed bass stabs create the flow for a trippy, grinding voice - very sexy. Not one to be missed!

Following up on a stellar 2013, Timo Maas kick starts the new year with the final vinyl remix sampler taken from his album, 'Lifer'. This is his latest offering since "Tantra" EP - which was received with rave reviews and featured across Rolling Stone, XLR8R, Clash, as well as played by some of the finest djs on the circuit from Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex through to Luciano and Danny Tenaglia.
'Lifer Remixed - II' acts as a who's who in production with remixes coming from Maceo Plex's darker alter ego project Maetrik, Addison Groove who just dropped his killer new LP on 50 Weapons, Tom Demac fresh from releasing the earth shattering bass-house perfection "Linda's Theme' EP on Aus Music and Crosstown Rebels mainstay Fur Coat just ahead of their massive forthcoming releases on Bpitch Control and Hot Creations.
Further afield, Timo has a brand new remix for Hackman coming soon on LA's Halycon as well as putting finishing touches to a super exciting new project for My Favorite Robot, which rest assured you will be hearing a lot about. As usual you can expect to see a jam-packed touring schedule with dates from Berlin's Watergate, through Tokyo's Air, across the world at Miami's Treehouse and of course Ibiza's finest clubs.
Rockets & Ponies continues to gather steam with Timo and his production partner Santos collecting music which straddles the somewhat disparate worlds of underground electronic music and credible muso pop. The next release from one of Germany's best jazz musicians Wolfgang Haffner come is backed up by remixes from no less than Ricardo Villalovos & Max Loderbauer, Nightmares On Wax, Timo Maas & Acid Mondays, so keep an ear firmly to the ground.

Asuntos Internos is an EP dedicated to artists from Spain, in this case 3 from Barcelona (NLK, Delusions & niet! And Nehuen) and 1 from Madrid (VVV). The first two songs, 'Overview' and '100 Freeze', have a obscure tones, and darkwave intensity. In 'Exorcism' delirious voices are planned on a magnetic basis while relatively ethereal, while 'I Do not Know What I Want' (Jump It Now Mix) finally jumps into the dance floor with a purely Techno EBM cut.

"With its HQ in rural Germany - Rockets & Ponies is a coterie for the outsiders - those 'too strange for the normal business' with an ethos that fosters freedom of expression, experimentation and an avant-garde approach.
So who better to present a remix package of works by Jazz luminary Wolfgang Haffner that includes Ricardo Villalobos & Max Loderbauer, Nightmares on Wax, and label padrone Timo Maas.
'Prolific' doesn't quite cover Haffner's creative output. With a career that spans over 30 years beginning in the German and French Jazz Ensemble and moving on to collaborative works with the likes of Chaka Khan, Bill Evans and Roy Ayres Haffner has appeared on over 350 recordings.
The selected material within this package is taken from his latest album 'Heart Of The Matter' released through The ACT Company in 2013 - 'Bing' and 'Luna' are twisted, stretched and reformed by the eminently prestigious roster of remixers.
First in is Ricardo Villalobos - an exalted genius and champion of freedom of expression with previous releases on Perlon, Playhouse, Cadenza and Cocoon who pairs up with regular studio partner Max Loderbauer for a wonderfully elongated, no-holds-barred dissections of 'Bing'.
Loderbauer himself, as a master of audio design, injects experience assimilated from sharing his studio with Tobias Freund and together the pair opt for their regular method of developing tracks on modular machines using no overdubbing or multitrack mixing.
On the flip, who better to offer an alternative take on 'Luna' than Rockets & Ponies co-founder Timo Maas. Following up his 'Lifer' LP and his 'Tantra' and 'Articulation' EPs, Maas steps in with his brash and physical reworking of 'Luna' that he creatively re-images into a billowing beast.
In doing so he further substantiates his own left-field productions and indeed, Rockets & Ponies is an entirely unique and creative experiment capable of producing incredible results."
Finally, previous collaborator with Haffner himself, Nightmares on Wax steps in with a typically balmy, Rhodes-heavy revision of 'Luna'. The longest ever serving artist on Warp Records opts for signature dosages of Dub, Soul and Jazz that he's perfected and refined over his long and illustrious career.'

Forriner is Lee Forster and Oli Worriner.
I made music together with Lee for years (alongside Mick Rolfe) as Last Waltz.
He also worked as Lizards with James Hadfield (James released solo for Me Me Me 02),
Oli Worriner, is a talented young northerner who's already making a great name for his solo output, both under his own name and his Traela Alias, as well his label 'Tunnyl Recordings'
I'm really flattered that they've let me release their first full solo release, and I love how they've brought out each others deeper and more emotive sides in these 2 tracks.
Shit Robot is a hero of mine. I basically wore out the grooves on a bunch of his DFA stuff from just over 10 years ago, and I've avidly bought everything he's released since.
I met him this summer for the first time when we shared the bill at a festival, and was so happy to find that he's also lovely guy in real life.
They say you should never meet your heroes, but I don't subscribe to that as this meeting led to not one, but two fantastic remixes for Me Me Me 08.
The originals are a bright mix of melodically analogue left leaning house, while the remixes zero-in on a punchier dancefloor vibe, with an epic version Goodnight, as well a more heads down Disco Dub.
So yeah, links within links, and keeping it Northeastern again I guess.
MR.G launches the 51st installment in his Phoenix G series. A 3-track counting excellent 12' that catches several emotions and vibes. Spaced out Mango Boys dub's.

After the long awaited and acclaimed return of the notorious Manie Sans De´lire on June Records, one-half of the group, Trenton Chase, returns on the label with a bold solo LP marking his departure from the sound of his previous releases on the imprint.
For his first album attempt, Trenton embarks on the search for everything and manages to encapsulate the whole essence of the June Records ethos within 43 minutes of music.
Although initially not planned as an album, Deadlock was conceived organically as it only took a few months for its completion during the artist's most abundant 2017 studio spring sessions.
This body of work transcends formulaic attempts to showcase a very refreshing and uncompromising take on synth music. Chase followed a crude approach to songwriting, rehearsing and improvising live until the best take would eventually become the final track. Artwork by Florent Mazzocchetti.

Caldera made his Cassette Library debut on this summer's Various Artist release - We Are Family Vol.3 - with the excellent and well received Techon 2L'. He's back with a full EP's worth of trax that are better than your average. In fact, they're 134% OK. OK
Halocyan outlines computer music's many future possibilities, while remaining actively mindful of its one and only history.
Having released material from such luminaries as Dosem, Paul Woodford, Oliver Ho, Extrawelt, and Joey Beltram - Halocyan continues to assert its influence with their next record: a 2-part EP from Apollo and R&S affiliate Dave Angel.
Founder of Rotation Records and originally hailing from Chelsea, Angel is a Techno emissary whose intelligent, Funk-licked productions have propelled him through a long and illustrious career through which he has consistently branded his own stamp on Electronic Music whilst also remaining highly relevant to modern listeners.
It's this that lends him perfectly to a record with Halocyan who do what they do best in presenting his 'Incoming' EP: a sincerely-rooted collection that comes backed up by label favourite Hackman on remix duties.
'Portrait' kicks things off with jubilant melodies rippling atop sharp, whetted percussion before minor-key sweeps bleed in and bring with them a degree of pensive tension.
A buoyant bass line propels the track from Dave Angel - Incoming EP beneath before Hackman offers up a deftly swung revision rich with his sturdy
subs and idiosyncratic percussive flutters.

Releasing on Crosstown Rebels Denney and D.Ramirez, invite the listener into an electronic dream. Aptly titled 'Stranger Things', the old friends deliver two original tracks with dubspeeka supplying the remix. Debuted by label founder Damian Lazarus at Day Zero, immerse yourself in an otherworldly fantasy.
Stranger Things opens the EP, immediately setting the scene for what is to come. The duo has created an enticing world, thrusting them into the forefront of electronic music. Heavy in synths and cosmic sounds, Bristol based producer, dubspeeka demonstrates complete understanding of the original, whilst catapulting the track into a different sphere. The ethereal female vocal takes centre stage in Afraid, concluding the EP and marking the end of a captivating journey.
Hailing from the North of England, Denney kickstarted his career with a residency at the historic Back to Basics night. Now a global figure in the dance scene, he regularly plays at the biggest venues, with releases on Jackathon Jams, 2020 Vision, VIVa, Hot Creations among others. With a career spanning over twenty years, D.Ramirez is a the top of his game. The Northern DJ and producer has been nominated for an Ivor Novello, played in every continent, and five of his releases making the Top 20.

Hottrax boss Jamie Jones teams up with Nathan Barato for a pair of killer cuts entitled 'Cherry's Revenge'.
Nathan Barato has been a staple on Jamie Jones' Hot Creations imprint and Paradise events ever since gracing both of them in 2014. Reflecting on recent releases via Saved Records and Cajual, the Toronto native has continued rolling out releases in fine form, and his global gig schedule reflects his candescent reputation. On the other hand, Jamie Jones has been helming his multiple successful labels when not releasing on Kerri Chandler's Kaoz Theory and Dusky's 17 Steps; continuing to cement his name as one of the world's most illustrious DJs, producers and label owners.
Composed of intricate percussion and sporadic synth stabs, 'Cherry's Revenge' sees Jones and Barato in fine form. The dancefloor focused roller blends rumbling bass and robust snares with chopped vox samples and whirling police sirens, forming a production destined to inject life into any situation. On the flip, 'Cheating Chester' samples a Sunset Boulevard working girl discovering the cheating exploits of her pimp boyfriend and mashes it with mesmerising effects, tight hats, a purring baseline and distorted synths.

Timmo is a new name to Drumcode and one in which they hope to be seeing more of. Having released tracks on Fone, BluFin, Octopus and Alleanza to name a few, Timmo's production career is set to shine as his new material is getting noticed from the likes of Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, Nicole Moudaber, Len Faki, Dustin Zahn to name a few. Also launching his own highly revered radio show called 'Big Room' which, has had guests such as Robert Babicz, Umek, Fergie, Alan Fitzpatrick and many more,Timmo is a name to look out for in 2014.
Timmo's debut Drumcode release 'We Beat On' carries a flow through out that gives Timmo his own unique sound that has captured the ears of many highly revered techno DJ's around the world. Timmo uses hypnotic sounds and phrases whilst he always maintains a thumping techno beat that underlies all the tracks within this EP to maximum effect. Furthermore, there is a ghostly feel amongst Timmo's tracks that really provide him with his acquired sound, the pads in 'Canvas' are a beautiful reminder of this. Timmo also uses strong synth stabs to full effect that juxtapose against the drums to help create the tension and aggression that is present within techno.

For the second Bad Barbie Records vinyl release of 2016 we are more than exited to bring you the magnificent work from the Bla Bla Music owner Daniel Sanchez with his Impromptu EP. Here we have four amazing pieces where each one tells a different history. The first one Pearled Into Droplets saw the light after a great Live Jam and the result is combination of several layers of base elements with subtle minimalistic articulations. These, in combination of the bass and synths lines do create a truly amazing micro house piece. The second one Vague, is an atmospheric dub were a single synth chord raises in slowly, followed by a very subtle kick and bass line to set a bit of rhythm to the whole thing, creating a superb dreamy vibe while the chords do their thing with delicate reverbs and delays in the backend. A great musical piece indeed. For the third track we have Yi, again another amazing micro house jewel born from a Live Jam, but this one is even more energetic than the first one and it also includes, besides a rocking bass line, analog synth chords that lifts up the mood during specific moments, which also do their part articulating themselves perfectly with some occasional twisted vocals that helps create an amazing party vibe from beginning to end. And if this wasn't enough we also have Bedroom Stories vocal tool that Daniel included with his delivery, which can help spice up a DJ set with ease.

Tears of Love began coursing through a crevice in the wall, dissolving the old mortar which had been so firm.
From the realm beyond our interstice, the Lacrima of Yearning was met by a coruscating light, heavy with air.
This luminance seemed to generate in a distant source, yet had always been present - as illusion hides eternity. In this New Open Channel, a possibility was forged. A golden opportunity for the future and a resting place for the past.
Leonard Campbell's Much Less Normal was originally released as a tape on 1080p last spring, and has since become one of the Vancouver label's definitive releases. This welcome vinyl reissue on Firecracker is an invitation to see this remarkable album in a new light for those who already know it, and its new format should help it earn the attention it deserved the first time around.
It's a record that sounds like the city that birthed it: overcast and maritime, gloomy and gorgeous in equal measure. Campbell's songs develop and grow with the steady pace of the tides, as if his sounds and melodies are being washed ashore.

International Black stick to their word and come good with another EP of high end club material from two young UK producers: Neinzer & Losian.
Neinzer, having released on Deep Moves Berlin and the Fabric affiliated Yumé Records presents what could prove to be his breakthrough track in the form of Weiblich - a devastating and highly function piece of sound art meets techno.
Losian finishes the job off with the heaviest techno cut we've heard in a long time - channeling Basic Channel and passing it through a UK sound-system filter to create a monster ready for the Berghain peak-time dance-floor.

The White Man & The Arab return with their fifth release, The Exchange EP, further developing the sound that's made their previous four outings so alluring.Informed by a range of cues that reflect the pairs' influences, you can sense dub, ambient, minimal, a love for eerie melodies and raw deepness permeating from this EP's start to finish. The A side kicks off with "On The Floor" - a nod to the fact that the whole EP was crafted literally on the floor (the studio was 'in transition') - signals what awaits the listener for the duration of the EP. Moody pads, slowly progressing melodies and their signature syncopated drum patterns. "People Say" follows next, instantly shifting up a gear - this is a solid dancefloor shaker with a simple but seriously effective bassline that will be lodged in your brain, a sharp hi-hat & clap combo and a disembodied, haunting vocal that chants along to the beat.Flip the record over for the title track - "The Exchange" - areverb-drenched ethereal club cut that gets it's unstoppable sense of motion from the irresistible percussion workout, while the squelchy acid line adds that extra rawness. Rounding off the EP "Sideways" signals a distinct nod to Detroit. No homage in sight though - it's been carefully distilled via their own signature processes resulting in a somewhat emotional, dubbed out track - perfect supplement for when you're starting to land back to earth...

New York collective Sheik 'N' Beik follow up a slew of lauded 12's from Japan's Keita Sano, Legowelt & Xosar and their previous effort from Hermans with the richly emotive return of Voiski. With a back catalogue of considerable depth - one that's touched the likes of L.I.E.S and Delsin, Dekmantel's 'UFO' series - Voiski's latest offering carries with it a trademark degree of bite whilst remaining balanced with the sort of moody melodicism that fans both old and new will relish.5th Dolphin Transmission' kicks things off with a tense sequence tumbling through granular drums and a staggered, luminescent synth line. 'Let Down Disco' then dims the lights slightly with soft, buoyant melodies and flickering high frequencies that round off a nicely varied release and another solid addition to the Sheik N Beik catalogue.
