2013 is set to be an incredible year for Ali Love. The London-based producer and vocalist has recently inked a deal with the legendary Crosstown Rebels label and is currently putting the finishing touches to a new album (the follow up to 2010's Love Harder). The first track to be taken from the album is 'Emperor', which features additional vocals from Kali. The single will be available on 12" and download and comes backed with remixes from Waze & Odyssey and Maceo Plex.
'Emperor' comes on the back of a creative purple patch for Ali Love. As a member of both Hot Natured (with Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Luca C) and Infinity Ink (with Luca C Love has recently been part of two of the biggest club tracks of the last twelve months in 'Benediction' and 'Infinity'. This upward trajectory is set to continue with a Hot Natured making their debut live appearances with two headline shows at London's 5000 capacity Brixton Academy, and debut Hot Natured LP set for release later this year.
Ali Love's new album will be released later in 2013 on Crosstown Rebels. As one of the UK's finest electronic songwriters and vocalists, 2013 is set to see Ali deliver on all the potential he's always promised, and receive the recognition he deserves.

The 99th release on Moon Harbour comes from one of the label's new school heroes, namely UK artist wAFF. He serves up a brace of brilliant tunes that get complemented by a fine remix from label regular Butch.
In recent times, wAFF has really established himself as one of the beacons of main room house and techno around the world. From standout sets at key Ibiza clubs to gigs at fabric, London via big underground hits on labels like Drumcode and Hot Creations, he is a real man of the moment.
First out of the blocks is 'Wormhole', a rattling, loose limbed percussive house track with playful and wonky synths screwing off into the distance. Always restless and never sitting still, this is a body shaking groove to make whole dance floors move, and as ever the production is as fun as it is functional. Remixing is the one and only prolific music making machine that is Butch. The veteran German-Turk's most vital version burrows deep into your brain with woodpecker hits pinging about as the flappy drums surf and skate along below in infectious fashion.
wAFF's other original, 'Manuka,' is a nine minute masterpiece that builds tension throughout, never letting up. Streams of white noise release a little pressure, but the crisp, upright drums and swooping synth stabs really keep you on your toes. Deep but physical, it's another off-kilter charmer from wAFF, and it rounds out another essential EP.

After many years of reflexion, who decides to build Get your copy records in Paris this January 2017.He's been making music for 15 years now and he will release the music that make him dance, love, fly.. Deciding which EP to release first was a very tough decision, but make my love represents Lucas' groove and feelings. It's one of his old techno track created in Paris few years ago. it was a one session studio without really work again on it, he lost the project because of a computer problem but he decides to release it anyway. You have on this track a strong rhythm, with heavy bass in the background balanced by a nice hypnotic synth, sexy vocals, and a flying synth that brings a touch of House music. We hope you will enjoy his taste in music.

Delayed Audio return in style following the success of their last, highly rated release from James Fox & James Welsh. For this outing, the Brighton based house label return to their roots, delivering a various artists release featuring established and up coming talent alike.
Disko records boss & Berlin based Daniel Solar lays down an excellent opening track, combining a short, but expertly placed vocal hook with an acid-tinged bass line, subtle pad work and loose percussion. A dance floor focused track, with just the right amount of nod to the underground - superb stuff.
Next we have rising star, Franky Redente, who broke onto the scene in 2012 with a track on the excellent Glasgow Underground. Here Redente takes things into late night territory with a haunting and wonderfully sparse take on deep house music, utilising rolling sub bass, rising pads and awe-inspiring drum work to create a heads down houser. This one will certainly be turning heads, for all the right reasons.
On the flip, Wilf Mason delivers his inaugral release in the form of a "Where Did The Night Go". Don't let Mason's lack of status fool you - this is the real deal. Acid is the order of the day here, with a wonderfully simple but incredibly effective line running through this peak-time houser, infused with a killer bass line and expertly placed effects.
Last, but by no means least, we have Black Key Records label boss, Tom Sevinski, who turns out an excellent round off to the EP. "Every Side" is a dark, techno infused house track, oozing analogue charm and maturity. This one will undoubtedly appeal to those who like their house music dark & haunting - a very playable track indeed.

X-Press 2 are gearing up for an exciting 2015 with a formidable string of releases due on Skint, and further high profile labels. But before they enter a new chapter we offer a set of un-released dance floor driven productions that wrap up the duo's last few years of works and set of Single/EP's that saw release on the Skint catalogue. This is MMXV.
True to the body of work that was appearing in the period of production, MMXV introduces itself with "You're Gone", a house roller that woos you into the groove. "Down" continues to pursue the dance floor with rattling vocals and shaking percussion.
As we flip the 12", we are warmed by "Cirius Stab", which softens the beat and fixates us with a bubbly sense of joy. To further, an act renown for cow bells since 1992 with the anthem "Muzik Xpress", "Remedy" delivers a smooth ode to the UK house sound that X-Press 2 were constructively heavily involved with.

Currently based in Stockholm where he DJs regularly at Late Night City Tracks at Under Bron, Gordo is a mysterious and previously unsigned producer whose music Spencer Parker discovered on a documentary video about Los Angeles' Latino community and its roots in the rave and club scene of the early 90's.
Breakbeat infused and reverberated percussion create the skeleton of opening track 'To The Sky' whilst crafty vocal snippets and saturated chords ebb and flow through its course.
Next up, 'Para Ti' forms a tribal aesthetic with chanting vocal samples, deep bounding drums and hypnotic strings until 'Breathe' generates a timeless house aura with an irresistible lead synth complemented by floating pads. Petter Svensson aka NEBULA recently had a release out co-operated with KORD which sound were more in the hard techno EBM edge. Here is a more limited sound and so far NEBULA has it's limited gear... It has been more than a whopping five years now since Stee Downes released his last album ('All In A Day', SK203CD) . But the Dublin born, Amsterdam based jack of all trades has been simply too busy with numerous other successful projects and his renowned DJ gigs to take the time to record its follow-up 'The Bigger Picture' in Berlin's Jazzanova Recording Studio. This longplayer is set to be released in 2014 / 2015. Now, for starters, we are treated with the pre-12inch 'Caught Up'. It's almost take for granted by now that Sonar Kollektiv A&R-manager Alex Barck and Paskal & Urban Absolutes, the label's unofficial in-house remix duo, have looked after the track. And that's how we actually get two times uplifting vocal house that works as well in the club as on the airwaves. Further on, the currently massively uprising siblings Kyodai take no prisoners and go for a thriving club burner and give the arrangement a fantastic sweeping beat and pump the bassline all up to the front. All the way, from Australia comes the contribution by Rocco Raimundo, who prowls audibly in calmer climes. This way 'Caught Up' wins even more points and could molt to become - in form of this remix - a proper summer smash.
On the digital release you'll find on top of Raimundo's remix also the instrumental version of the original. You won't regret to give it a try: Next to the ultra funky bass by Alex Grube, the guitar by Arne Jansen, the drumming by Michael Grabinger and particularly the piano and rhodes, played by none other than Sebastian Studnitzky, put you in an outrageous good mood. That's then how the summer 2014 sounds!

Ian Pooley returns to Pooledmusic with his first solo EP of original material on the label since his 2013 album 'What I Do'. The intervening period has seen Pooley release another hugely popular EP for Innervisions and launch Pooledmusic's techno-focused sister label Montage with a pair of new releases under his tougher Silvershower alias, while labels including Figure, Rejected and Scenario have been mining his rich back catalogue to re-release some of his best loved classic productions. The Turakina EP follows Pooledmusic's previous two EPs from the label's extended family, SHOW-B and Indira Paganotto, in 2014. Whereas 2015's focus was on the launch of Montage, 2016 welcomes Pooley back to his main imprint with another three-track 12' that mines the expressive, textured house music that won Pooley a new generation of fans on his Innervisions releases. The A-side, Turakina, is a classic Pooley groove, stripped down to its elements then layered with melodic detail that builds over the course of the track, subtly bringing a sense of compelling urgency. The B-side finds two versions of the deeper, more emotional Mudou. The original version is in the same 'miniature epic' mold of 2012 hit Compurhythm, conveying the same sense of dancefloor drama, while the Dub take a lighter touch to tease out even more of its melancholic nature. The Turakina EP is dedicated to the loving memory of Pooley's beloved dog Basil, who recently passed away at 12 years of age.

N.M.O. is the project of North Sea drummer / producer Morten J. Olsen and the Mediterranean synthesis-aficinado, Rubén Patiño. The title of the project, N.M.O., is an ever-changing acronym that incorporates club music, performance, miltary drumming, fitness and absurdity. This EP unfolds the latest, Nassau Molasses Office and also the bands new deviation, Deutsch am Fuß (DaF).
The duo combine performative aspects into their percussive patterns and synthetic sounds that explode during their short and intense live shows. N.M.O. recently performed at CTM Festival and also created a musical chairs performance with NTS.
For this new EP the Nordic-Mediterranean duo, Nassau Molasses Office, set off on an "excursion of possible caribbean Youtube islands' for the A side. On the B side, sees the band-in-a-band blend transatlantic rhythmic club interludes with a retroesque West Germany flavour.

PPPanorama Bar resident Nick Ho¨ppner gets to Work on his second solo album on Ostgut Ton, connecting the territories of House music with the ease of Alt-Pop.
Work as in labor. An axiom that fuels the capitalist system just as the Techno/House scene economy says that one needs to keep oneself busy to make a living. As a musician, things are complicated of course. It's a long way from the romantic idea of creating music simply for the sake of art to becoming a full time musician. Those who have accomplished this feat often find themselves in a professional loop of writing the music, producing it, promoting it (with an info text like this), releasing it and then hopefully selling it. After leaving his full time job as Ostgut Ton's label manager in 2012, Nick Ho¨ppner went fully freelance, focusing on his musically diverse, deep and dynamic DJing in and outside Berghain's Panorama Bar, but more importantly spending more time in the studio. The result was his critically acclaimed debut album Folk (Ostgut Ton, 2015), various 12' releases and remixes, and now his sophomore LP, Work, which, more than ever, lays out his refined production skills and his talent to work the machines until they reveal their inner ghosts: nine new songs that now dodge the dance floor, then fully embrace it.
Work as in body of work. A record is more than the sum of clocked up hours at the studio, but the result of an artistic-creative process. On Work, Ho¨ppner shows his everlasting lust for musical detail, his increasing technical skills and compositional finesse. Work is a very personal, soulful and deep record that breaks through the usual club/dancefloor narrative by documenting Nick's interest for hybrid sounds and combining elements from varying musical genres. Work's lead single 'All By Themselves (My Belle)' is a very atmospheric, intimate and steadily unfurling IDM piece with ethereal synth and vocal pads; on the album it's contrasted by 'Clean Living' with Tram 78, a modern Ho¨ppner club classic: powerful, kick-heavy, muscular, cheerful and uplifting. It's a very personal track resulting from a recent reencounter with an old friend. Having spent countless hours together in Berlin's clubs in ever changing states of mind a decade ago or longer, things have since changed for both towards a more - clean living'. Connecting to this musical vibe 'In My Mind' follows with a slightly darker tone putting emphasis on bassline, percussion and squeaky sound detailing. 'Hole Head' pays tongue-in-cheek homage to Nick's love for UK club music, when a dashing melody of synths and vibraphone is matched with clattering breaks and syncopation. The dubby, mesmerizing 'The Dark Segment' not only impresses with its hypnotic synth figurines, but also by morphing to a shuffling Jazz rhythm towards it's middle part; 'Forced Resonance' uses Oberheim synth brass stabs to dramatic effect; the percussion- and clap-laden 'Fly Your Colours' comes with an irresistible piano melody atop an energetic kick; and finally the album-closing, shuffling but rhythmic, noisy yet bluesy 'Three Is A Charm' featuring the duo Randweg on clarinet, cajo´n and acoustic guitar is a coherent departure heading towards Indie Pop territory. It sees Nick collaborating with acoustic instrumentalists for the first time in his ten-year- spanning Ostgut Ton release catalogue.
Work as in artwork. Staying in line with the Folk album, the visual companion for this record comes from German collage artist Frank Bubenzer. As with the artwork at hand, Bankentsunami, and his other works, Bubenzer cuts up print magazine advertisements and recontextualizes them into new motifs, removing all human depiction from the source material, here as a commentary on the world of business, big money and the banking crisis.
Work as in work it. As a slogan 'work' has always been one of the genre's most utilized paroles, coined and put on wax by pioneers like LNR, Blake Baxter or Steve Poindexter, to name a few. Not only calling for the crowds to get moving on the floor but also to fully express themselves and their unique individuality inside an all embracing environment. A mindset rooted in House Music that has been an integral part of Nick Ho¨ppner's identity as a DJ and producer from the beginning and all through his decade-spanning residency at Panorama Bar. Work it!

Solune real name Etienne Dauta hails from France, the son of a record store owner father and artist mother. He moved to Berlin 6 years ago and for the last 3 years

D'julz returns to Ovum with the 'DIVE' EP A longtime staple of the Ovum roster, D'Julz returns with his fifth release on the label the 'Dive' EP. Once upon a time ... close to a lake in a small village named Lenz. Pleasant silence filled the air in this idyllic lake land of Mecklemburg. A gentle breeze blew and the tree branches quivered to its pulse. Listening closely, one could hear the soft purl of the lake. A distant spring storm raged through the night, supplanted by the majestic rise of a red fire ball rapidly approaching the illuminated firmament. Breaking through the last shades of the night, gentle birdsongs pierced the solitude of the almost virgin nature. Emerging from a humble and picturesque cottage, soft electric melodies are carried through the cosmos to invigorate and titillate our senses. Four years after their successful debut album 'Dark Orbit' (May 2009), the DJ-Duo Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner prepare to release their second album called 'Lenz'. In defiance of breakup rumors, their latest stroke of genius promises to arouse spring feelings for all electronic music fans. In the summer of 2011, acclaimed DJs, Alfred Heinrichs and Sascha Braemer, had already conceived the initial ideas of their new album. In the meantime, the pair kept busy working on solo projects and remixes for various DJs and labels as well as keeping active international careers. Last spring, in order to increase and intensify the creative process of the project, the two Berliners expelled themselves from the noisy and restless metropolis to an isolated timberland bungalow. Leaving all forms of communication behind, they were delivered pure inspiration from the soft sounds and impressive backdrop of Mother Nature herself.

Sometimes it takes a little longer until things happen. Talking the conjunctional studio joint of Martin Landsky and Marco Resmann entitled 'Lava", now released under their collaborational project Landsky & Resmann, this single is one that has been overdue for quite a while and for a reason. A reason and shared history that essentially helped to shape and add momentum to Marco Resmann's career at an early stage a good 13 years ago when he wasn't even known under his real name but used the artistic alias Phage DJ- and production-wise. It was back in the early noughties when Marco Resmann sent out a demo to Martin Landsky and his former label Intim Recordings which he admired musically, got through and the tracks that were picked are now known in the history book of electronic music as 'Volkspark E.P.", his first ever single release that became the output number 009 on Intim Recordings back in 2002 and, if you will, the foundation on which Marco's production career was built. Now, after all these years in which Martin Landsky became one of the mainstays in the Poker Flat Recordings-family after folding his own imprint whilst Marco Resmann built a huge reputation on the international DJ-circuit and co-founded Upon.You Records, they finally teamed up in the studio for 'Lava", a single piece as timeless and essential as it can get. On the A-side we've got 'Lava 1 , a quite pumping and deep technoid piece that is fully aware of the seductive grooves only stripped down House music can provide. With carefully crafted build-ups, melancholia-driven strings and moody modulations this one's a true force on the dancefloor, using only very essential elements and razor sharp hi-hats to get a whole nation under a groove.
