House Vinyl New Releases - News

We eroded pre-existent structures constructing an open heterotopic space, a horizontal and vertical thinking found its way through physical- and cyberspace, Here, nothing manifested instantly - flippancy left space for any kind of interaction and appropriation. Within (or well beyond) economic pressure points which diluted production, this was our opportunity to try out different potentials with no restrictions to the public, while simultaneously scrutinising the general framework of institutions and human behaviours.

A TRUE TECHNO CLASSIC FROM DETROITS CARL CRAIG GETS A SUPERB REMIX FROM CHRISTIAN SMITH WHO ADDS POWER & EMOTION FOR 2010. limited light green vinyl

Population 50201 V2 encompasses dubspeeka's unparalleled status as underground music artist and in turn the fitting foreshadows his second EP on his own imprint Skeleton.
Perfectly easing listeners through a chilling listening experience fused together by a crisp yet disported drum rhythm, this forthcoming EP and his album are yet a further presentation of dubspeeka's stature in the spectrum of underground music.

Amalthea And Io's first release, Galvanize EP is a conception of different new ideas that have surged in the strong influx of different styles of deep grooves in the recent years. Malbec and Duky have built an advanced musical spaceship that entices the dancer to move constantly as well as keep them curious to the frequencies emitted by Amalthea And Io's Satellite.

While producing the Viscera trilogy, Fango has tried to understand something about himself. In order to do this, he had to enter into his own body, just like Dante entered hell, studying and analysing himself from the inside, diving through organs, guts and grey matter.
Did it work Yes and no, depending how you look at it. For sure, it helped him in the creation of 3 devastating and introspective EPs, but a lot of questions are still unsolved.
Viscera part 3 is the last leg of a journey that disrupted your 2016 and marks the beginning of a new absurd phase for Fango, but this is another story.
For the time being we leave you with Amnios, Metacarpo and Metulla.
This is Viscera 3/3.

Fool : The track is built around a roaring 808 kick which immediately emphasizes the raw straight forward character Haste Midi wants to attribute to the track. On the other side the pads which are sampled from a 70s vinyl provide the warmth and width the track needs to harmonize in a housy way. It also reects the analogue aspect which is an essential feature of Haste Midi's sound. The second part of the track is marked by a beautiful vocal sampled from Midways '84 classic "Set it out". Again this soft element stands in contrast to the whizzing hihat which adds additional drive to the track. Finally the two basslines are rounding off the track making it a minimalistic retro-house tune. With his Remix, Daniel Stefanik added some smooth, chilled out sexyness to this Track.

Gone : Gone begins where Fool stops. Straight 909 drums and percussions hit on looped atmosphere and a bassline, that even might bring pensioners to dance. Rounded by moved claps and a trumpet in the break, this song is created for the dance oor. Gone is a homage to the straight, danceable House sound of the early 90´s. With his Remix, Ruben Mandolini added a straight forward Techno attitude to the Track.

For Concealed number 008, Martinez follows up his critically acclaimed 3x12" album "O-Pen" with another strong two tracks of experimental & minimalistic modern House Music. Enjoy!

Optimo Music are delighted to present the second full-length from The Golden Filter, "STILL // ALONE".
After relocating to London and playing shows around Europe for a year and a half, self-imposed pariahs Penelope Trappes and Stephen Hindman delved into creating a two-sided existential opus by renting out old studio spaces around the UK and using mostly analog 80's instruments, machines and effects.
An album about being in love with pure solitude, when STILL // Optimo Music are delighted to present the second full-length from The Golden Filter, "STILL // ALONE".
After relocating to London and playing shows around Europe for a year and a half, self-imposed pariahs Penelope Trappes and Stephen Hindman delved into creating a two-sided existential opus by renting out old studio spaces around the UK and using mostly analog 80's instruments, machines and effects.
An album about being in love with pure solitude, when STILL // ALONE is separated into two distinct sides, record one, STILL, is a hypnotic meditation for the nightclub. Wavy patterns of sound and light bounce off of Penelope's literary vocal bursts, layered over the ominous deep synths and arpeggiators, held together only by a strict 4/4 beat. The rhythm, ironically forcing the body to move, however internally focused and mindful, still.
Record two, ALONE, takes the club offline and into the fringes of raw, odd pop.

Ever-prominent drum machine beats rule, while love and loss permeate the four atmospheric goth songs. Music for dancing alone.
"Behind the cotton wool is hidden a pattern... the whole world is a work of art... there is no Shakespeare... no Beethoven... no God; we are the words; we are the music; we are the thing itself." - Virginia Woolf

Here's the second volume of "10 Years of Digital Traffik" : four multi-purpose and innovative tracks from the Traffik family.
Supernova takes the pace right on 'Light Up' : tweaked pads and a tripping bass with an irresistible, effortless pause and re-start.
'Tingog' by Basti Grub shuffling a tribal vibe enhanced with fine atmospherics and piano melodies.
Bimas presents 'Breakstone' : an high quality deep-tech track influenced by ambient-house with ambiguous rhythmical and sweet voices.
'Flair' by Malatoid offers listeners an hypnotic trip between an actual tech-house and '90s house sonorities.
Another Various Artists from the Digital Traffik crew not to be missed!

Limited Pink Vinyl Pressing!
A seemingly relentless flow of creative activity continues for Yousef in 2014. An endless global touring schedule, showing the world his authentic and live 3 deck Djing dexterity, a man at ease in front on 10000 people, as he is 100. Ibiza to Indonesia, Argentina to Australia, South Africa to South Korea, few corners have been untouched in 2013.

Looking forward to forthcoming music for Loco Dice's impressive Desolat imprint, this year has also seen Yousef release music with Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical and Defected. He has remixed Carl Cox, and elevated his own Circus Recordings to a remarkable level by releasing this years biggest club track, Green Velvets "Bigger Than Prince".

Yousef's collaboration with The Angel, the anthemic "Float Away" released on FFRR/Warners/Big Beat Records was this summers Ibiza hidden treasure and is still simmering nicely. His singles for Defected have topped Buzz and Download charts alike with "Beg" taking root at the top of the Beatport charts for an astonishing 10 weeks.

With "Believe In Love" Yousef returns home to Circus Recordings with 3 cuts that have been turning heads all summer long. The title track features the legendary vocal of Roy Davis Jr who once again, asks the world a poignant question. A rolling, infectious and gnarly groove develops and unfolds into a long and harmonic breakdown before a blistering crescendo. Designed for the heads but with still enough action for the people that follow Yousef's more musically trickier offerings.

Just A Beat in exactly that. Yousef busts out a stripped back boogie bass over tight drums and oddball acid. No messing around, heads down, hands up. What Is Revolution is completely reworked by Circus label mates Acid Mondays. Remixing one of the stand out cuts from Yousef's recent "a product of your environment' artist album, the Mondays show how to bring authentic house music into the 21st century.

MASSIVE NEW MIXES OF A TRUE TECHNO CLASSIC

Mark Henning delves into his bag of tricks for release no. 4 on his own imprint Swing Recordings.

After the release of "Moderat live" on CD and on all digital channels last November, the album is now finally available as a carefully designed 2x12" longplay vinyl-box right in time for the summer festival dates. The manufactured cardboard box features a hand-pulled screen print adaption of the cover artwork and includes the 20-page long exclusive photo book "in my eyes" by Birgit Kaulfuss. The new edition contains the same tracks as the original one, on double vinyl. This issue is limited to 1250 pieces worldwide via distribution channels.

Another groovy Techhouse strike by the lovely label. Comes with remixes by Lula Circus and Dole & Kom.

Made In Italy Records is back with the number 003. It is a fantastic Various Artists with tracks from Gaetano C., Diwex, White Brothers and Question & Exclamation Mark . This EP is massive, don't miss it! Vinyl Only!!!

The Leaning Tower of Pisa or simply the Tower of Pisa (Torre di Pisa) is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its unintended tilt. The tower's tilt began during construction, caused by an inadequate foundation on ground too soft on one side to properly support the structure's weight. The tilt increased in the decades before the structure was completed, and gradually increased until the structure was stabilized (and the tilt partially corrected) by efforts in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

To mark the release of their sophomore album, Dark Sky present a pair of remixes of their latest tracks. Brace yourself for a double treat of raw dancefloor virtuosity via Miami and Munich.
Omnidisc labelhead Danny Daze takes on the atmospheric march of - The Walker', creating an eerie and intensely long build-up that eventually gives way to a slamming yet ethereal EBM finish.
Next up are Munich's techno overlords the Zenker Brothers. They infuse - Kilter' with some genuine breakbeat magic and hard-hitting industrial vibes while brilliantly reinventing the original track's melodic themes. Spot-on.

REPRESSED !!
With much patience and perseverance, we proudly present 'Face To Face Recordings'. The new Berlin imprint, owned and operated by techno veteran Tim Xavier, that strives to bring like-minded techno producers together to explore the tough yet sexier side of track production.
Deepchild, the talented and highly sought after live performer & producer kicks off the inaugural release with an innovative EP entitled 'Haitian Rum Runner.' The title track comes complete with precise drum-work, sleekly flanged double time percussion and an epic effective vocal describing the brutal task of being a Haitian Rum Runner. On the flip, Deepchild delivers "Brutal Sea Shanty" a bass fuelled floor packer with nicely interwoven synth stabs and smooth female vocal touches.
On remix duties, Tim Xavier adds a clever a'capella edit' for the tooly types on the A side, while JSTX (the duo of Jamaica Suk & Tim Xavier) remix 'Haitian Rum Runner' for a version perfectly pointed towards the cavernous Berghain main floor and those intimidating speaker stacks. For those fans of the digital realm, 'Items & Things' Miro Pajic provides a remix stripping down the techno and pushing things into a slightly housier direction.
While it's often difficult to capture the exact idea and direction a label plans to go, the premier release on Face To Face has shown confident marks in the path we're prepared to pave - the combination of fresh ideas, interesting producers and quality music designed to move the feet and the minds of those who love forward thinking music.

DJ support: Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, Truncate, Pär Grindvik, and Dustin Zahn, Funk D'void, mathias schaffhäuser, Ben Klock, Alland Byallo, Alexi Delano, Gel Abril, Sasha Carassi

REPRESSED !!
FaceToFace presents "Power House Rhythm Unit" produced and written by Antaeus Lando Roy and Tim Xavier at MMM studios. Lando & Xavier's special bond through music has birthed a genuine and unique sound.

Equal parts jacking, tough and sexy, these tracks capture the perfect balance of Lando's raw funk filled sequencing, meshed with Xavier's rhythmic drum work wizardry.

All original works have been mastered at manmademastering in Berlin, recorded to dubplate @ 45rpm, re-recorded back to hard disc, and then re-maximized to achieve warm artifacts that only vinyl can produce..

Releasing timeless music has always been one of the main aims of Hivern. Sometimes, this purpose asserts itself in curious manners. Take Margot's 'Moderno', a track made in 2003, several years before the label was born. Actually, when Pepe and Giaga produced the piece for a punk oriented art installation, Margot didn't even exist as a project. 14 years later, 'Moderno' sounds as fresh and contemporary as it can be. It's one of those cuts that chases a very specific idea with a very unconstrained scheme, that knows exactly where it wants to go, but is not sure about how to get there.

Mr. G extends his ever growing discography with another full length album. ''A Good Place..'' comes as a 2X12'' package which includes 14 tracks which range from signature MR.G style drum track cuts with the usual vocal cuts to somewhat more ''dubbed out'' bits and funky Disco tainted dance floor bits. ''A Good Place..'' proves to be the perfect follow up to last year's ''Night on The Town '' with Mr. G showcasing his versatile skill set whilst thoroughly molding the tracklist into the feel of an album.

CONCEPT is the new baby established by the already international well known artist agency My Favourite Freaks, which consists of a four part and monthly released series starting in December 2015. All tracks will be out on vinyl and only for real and freaky club boyz and party girlz. International celebrated artists of the agency collaborated to create such a big collector's item.

Last but not least it's time to finish the CONCEPT series with the fourth vinyl release and again with big names of the music producer scene.

Rhadow creates the first track of the A side. Belong is the name of the tune, which starts with deep sounding kick drums and a deep, groovy bass line. The track is like a DJ tool and with the vocal phrases it tries to drill into your brain. Rhadow made a huge arrangement for a more techno driven house track.

Arjun Vagale isn't a no-name at the techno scene anymore and he is well known for his surprising and always working music, he is creating in his studio and en route from gig to gig. Just as he has done Patterns. Instrument sample loops and fast beats, mixed with sample cuts and a lot of effects, build up to the climax, until the track explodes for the listeners on the dance floor.

Now it gets more techno driven. It's Ramiro Lopez' turn. Mystical synthesizer leads, bass lines and vocal cuts with delay effects are being hammered into your head with his booming kick drum. Hihats are forming the main groove of the track. Head banging is always welcome when listening to Ramiro Lopez Paradise!

With the last title of the Vinyl named Herd, it goes darker. The track made by Rafa Barrios has got a huge hihat and percussion overhead groove sitting over a pumping kick and bass line, running until the quite break down. A build up evolves, until... OH YES! Hands up and keep on dancing!

REPRESSED !!
Rivulet Records are continuing their release just where the compilation at the beginning of the year left us. Again bringing 4 artists together on one release shifting between dusty, mellow house and some how twisted techno. Peonies from russia, who has been releasing tapes on his own label - Summer Night' since 1 year, sets the mood for the record with his track - Soft Light' which sounds almost like a dim, fading memory of a club night full of classy house records. The rework by Ital, the head behind - Lovers Rock' from New York, builds up the mood in a complete different, driving and technoid atmosphere. The B-Side is the first cooperation between two very old friends, Berni from Trier and Jonas Palzer from Berlin, both part of Portray Records. Their tracks are playing with the same kind of hauntology as the A—Side, building up a sound that is familiar and distant in the same way - referring to old records by Boards of Canada as well as to the contemporary sound of - House' at its best meaning.

Amsterdam producers and good friends Kaap and Scott Franka have come together to start a new label and live act: Working Titles. Kaap is best known as the label boss of tape cassette label YIELD, Scott just debuted with his first 12" on Quartet Series. Together they perform primarily hardware based live sessions. For their label they improvise, jam and record to press these takes only on vinyl. The idea is to capture the real, raw and authentic improvised moments as soon as possible after they happen, hence the name Working Titles. This first vinyl release features the WT001 and WT002 outtakes on one disc. These sessions were recorded by the pair in an abandoned cabin in the woods in the south of Holland, surrounded by nature.

Opening the four track EP is 'Anthem', a haunting and restless track with house drums underneath wild, untethered synths. Pixel thin and pained, they whip about in edgy ways, swelling then dissipating and always building a dark energy. Second in line, 'Choke' is less direct, instead it wallows in muddy synths, with jumbled hits and claps and alien keys all creeping along in menacing ways. It is tense and unsettling and always on the move.

Continuing on the WT002 side is 'Facemelter', it finds elastic drums, bird calls, scratchy claps and glassy synths all layered up into a loose limbed and weirdly funky number. It's organic yet abstract and really sounds like it lives deep in the woods in which it was made. The second track is 'Tool', a deep and sparse number with smooth acid undulations, icy hi hats and scattered kick drums all making for a vast cavern of sound in which you easily get lost.

*Paper Recording are back on vinyl with a fantastic debut 12" from Italian duo Soundersons, who have come up through the
underground Bologna house scene.

Can't Get Enough is a deep electro-funk slice of nu disco with Diana G on vocals. It's got 80s synths and squelches, vocal hooks a plenty, clonking percussion, Rhodes and that Metro Area / Tom Tom Club vibe.

Parts I and II are split in to vocal and instrumental over one side on continuous play for maximum dance floor action.

On the flip, the mighty DJ Spinna brings his A game with a deep NYC take that is underground house at it's best. He uses synths, arps and the vocal to slowly build the remix that hits it's peak at the end.

Finally Education finished things off with a raw disco cut up that hits the floor running and keeps going full pelt. One for the dancers.

Long awaited debut album from SQL taking the young Amsterdam artist in a new musical direction. The prophet 5 synth takes center stage on this lush double LP. Black and white cover with beautiful artwork from Hessel Stuut.

After the great welcome of the first two releases supported among others by Raresh, Peter Inspirescu, Ricardo Villalobos. The enigmatic ViceVersa is back with the third chapter of this adventure full of mystery and fascination.

Innocent Music presents their seventh vinyl only release called Vinyl Only Tools vol.4! This time our label boss Aney F. invites White Brothers, Matt Time, Rickzor & Rumme!

We are very proud to announce that we have signed Arovane aka Uwe Zahn for Echocord. Uwe is in our world a legend within the electronic music scene.
He started to do releases on the old Berlin labels DIN and City-Centre-Offices. He is known for being one of the best producers ever within the IDM & Electronica scene.
Back in the 90's he listened to the music of Basic Channel, Maurizio and Fluxion a lot. This sound is timeless. In the summer of 2015 he started to record a couple of dub sounds and beats beside his collaboration work and the production of his new album.
He talked to Fluxion and told him about the growing project. He liked the tracks very much and connected it with Echocord and The Modul Ep was born.

It's Snaith's first mix CD, and he's used 23 of his own new, unreleased tracks, along with four exclusive edits (including a version of Container's "Dissolve.")
Fabriclive 93 contains more Daphni material than the project's entire back catalogue—it's also the first Daphni music to surface Since 2015. "A lot of these tracks were recorded in situ in the mix itself," Snaith says. "I'd put one track in place and instead of searching through existing music to find the track to follow it, I'd just make an entirely new one. The tracks on here pull from very diverse ends of the spectrum of music that I like and make."

After a few excursions on 777 Recordings, Die Orakel and Bokhari Records plus remixes for Spectral Sound and Nuearth Kitchen, Orson Wells returns to his own Sound Mirror imprint with another superb 3-tracker. A slightly electro tinged dreamy and melodic beauty called G.I.T.S.' is followed by the distorted, heavy breakbeat enhanced pounding title track Missn' U' on side A, while the futuristic deep journey Red Planet' on the flip makes this EP another versatile and quality packed release you shouldn't miss.

Slinking into right frequencies slowly but steady, this 11th issue of
Heulsuse comes by frenchman Remcord. Deep patterns combining solid grooves with "Saed", just in order to wake up the dancefloor properly with the spectacular remix by none other than Ramon Tapia. "Essential Flavour" brings the mood into the next level to slowly finalize this journey with a big breath in "Green Haze". Heulsusenpower at its best.

When Sev Dah took a look at the Techno landscape that surrounded him, he quickly realized that he did not belong anywhere near the surface. Taking refuge in a dark underground cave was the only place where he could comfortably be alone with his thoughts and concepts, it was his domain, he was the Saint of the Cave.

Reinterpreted brilliantly, funkily, intelligently, darkly and moodily by Markus Suckut, Donor / Truss and Grovskopa.

Supported and charted by the likes of Luke Slater, Developer, Advanced Human, Truncate, Lee Holman, A.Mochi, Kirk Degiorgio, Jeroen Search, Mattias Fridell.
