True veterans of the dance movement are featured in the 23rd release of Jeudi Records. D-Nox & Beckers have proven uncountable times their special dedication and skills to our genre since more than a decade now. As a duo, solo or involved in projects e.g. as Frankey & Sandrino with their uberhit Acamar. Needless to say we are proud they've accepted our invitation to join the JEUDI family. Their outstanding track Serenade was hitting our hearts from the frst listen. JEUDI co-boss Doctor Dru is delivering the to the point' remix for this single tracker. Both tracks were highly demanded and caused massive reactions on the foors when tested by the crew.

French producer Julian M joins the Decay Records roster with his 'Reveal Way' EP this June featuring remixes from fellow Parisians DJ W!ld and Chris Carrier. Growing up in the heart of the capital, Julien Marciano started producing in 2010 and has appeared on the likes of Chronovision Records, Denote Records, Homecoming Music and DJ W!ld's Catwash Records. As a DJ he has fast become aa staple in his city's underground scene, regularly performing at the likes of YoYo, Fleche D'Or, Le Quai, Gibus Club, La Centrale and Cirque Bonheur when not trotting the globe to spin in the UK, Italy, Belgium, Israel and Romania - not to mention Barcelona's Sonar Festival. Julian M's 'Butter River' is a dusky production led by firm kicks and a sultry bassline whilst an abstract vox and ghostly atmospherics resound throughout. 'Tu Reviendra' then maintains the sullen tones of its predecessor, however injects plenty of energy with the use of intricate percussion, spectral keys and vigorous build-ups. First up on remix duties DJ W!ld mutates 'Butter River' into a shadowy number that continuously evolves with the aid of a syncopated rhythm and oscillating synth. Chris Carrier's rendition of 'Tu Reviendra' then delivers a heady groove complete with a dour hook and sharp stabs to conclude the release.

After the global success of their first EP of 2016, 'On', including remixes by Techno legend Paco Osuna and Chloé, Monkey Safari is the name on everyone's lips, and summer lineups. Now they're out with their follow-up EP entitled 'Bernstein' with two original tracks and remixes by none other than John Digweed & Nick Muir as well as Spanish DJ and producer UNER. This release showcases the German brothers' darker side, combining deep trance-like rhythms with resonant sounds. At the same time, the release pulls you in with dreamy, head-in-the-clouds melodies, perfect for both sunrise and deep club sets alike. This release demonstrates Sven and Lars' move into the limitless domain of the experimental' since the launch of their new label 'Hommage.' As their career grows and transforms, it becomes more and more clear that they have found a medium in which to display their differing genre preferences and production styles. Monkey Safari is demanding the attention of industry heavyweights as evident by their 2015 collaborations with artists like Guy Gerber, Kölsch, Marc Houle, Wolf + Lamb, Josh Wink, as well as one of dance music's most iconic producers, Moby. In 2016 the evidence of Monkey Safari's growing allure is made clear by the two otherworldly remixes released on the 'Bernstein' EP. John Digweed & Nick Muir's remix of 'Plexus,' brings in a more soulful, synthy take on the original.

S-Man featuring GTO '2 Close' is the new single from Roger Sanchez's classic pseudonym that debuted back in 1994 via Time 2 Stop on legendary UK house label, Hard Times.

Sanchez returned under his S-Man guise earlier this year with the release of 'Dangerous Thoughts', the deep, percussive house track championed by Pete Tong on Radio 1, Tensnake, Huxley, Dubfire, Aeroplane, DJ Zinc, Mike Mago, Andy Cato, Riva Starr, Todd Edwards, Zdar/Cassius and many more.

The first release on his new label UNDR THE RADR, the track came with remixes from Kenny Dope, Sabb Remix.

Hailing from Reynosa, Mexico and the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas, Andres Aguirre has been a lifelong devotee for music and audio production. He became a radio host of an electronic music show and production director for the student-run 91.7 FM station in Austin, and his longtime passion for playing and collecting music linked Andres with the Forbidden Colours family from long ago.
Aguirre returns to Forbidden Colours - this time with a solo EP concept crafted with as much love for the dance floor as it is for the casual living room listener. Situated somewhere in the realm of deep house with a touch of techno, the rich harmonies and vivid textures take you through a hypnotic trip composed of spacey electronic tracks, smooth songs, and adventurous interludes.

Kicking off with the first track "Lose Yourself", Viken Arman mixes different cultural
influences to an exciting and mysterious intro of the 3 track EP. Guitars rise into
unknown spaces of deep bass and hidden complexity of beatstructures.

The second track, "Red", lead by wavy-delayed chords and soft vocals spreads the
EP into a more percussional quiet way, supported by sitar and slight bass.

Lastly, Maher Daniel abducts "Red", the rhythmical trip, straight back to the dark

Having exploded back on the scene with somewhat of a relaunch back in April, TENAX, the label of the legendary club in Firenze, continue with their fresh new vinyl series and an exciting debut from Ezikiel. With long-time Tenax leader Alex Neri kicking things off in the spring and was soon followed by label chief Federico Grazzini. Both releases received a glittering array of support and soon became regular soundtracks on the floors of dc-10 and beyond.

Deaf Safari is an audio collage of subjects that interest me and speak of the world I live in. It is an album composed of sampled recordings from the media landscape that has been the soundtrack to my life over the last ten years.

The most important development in my current music and as can be heard on Deaf Safari has been my understanding of the beauty and power of the spoken word. I have experienced severe indifference to contemporary pop and electronic music as a whole over the last many years, as I have felt that social comment of any relevance has been ignored by music in general.
Deaf Safari attempts to bring sociopolitical comment into my music without taking any specific stand.
Sampled outside of musical influence directly from the news, from preacher sermons or from contemporary African documentaries.
I have finally created a story with sound that I feel accurately conveys my personal experience with the African world I live in.

My musical influences on this album lie mostly with local Kwaito house. Deaf Safari is an experiment within certain boundaries of the 4/4 genre, to create my own South African "house" album.
I am proud and inspired about the South African Kwaito house scene.
However, as with my first three albums, "Thin Shoes In June' (2001) - "4/4 Down The Stairs' (2002) and "Dark Days Exit' (2005), I am still interested in making strange and evocative music.

American Roots music from the earlier periods of the 20th century has deeply resonated with me during the making of this album.
The incredible field recordings by Alan Lomax of Negro prison and chain gang work songs, and the
beautiful early recordings of artists such as Leadbelly have had a major influence on Deaf Safari.

I am truly excited to release this album and to start performing in the music world again. It has been ten years since I released "Dark Days Exit , and although I have been purposefully absent from the music world, I have none the less never stopped making music.
I feel that I have finally arrived at a mature and challenging stage in my pursuit of making emotional music of relevance .

After a successful remix for Monkeeplatez' second vinyl cut, Greenville Massive returns to the Berlin house label to release their latest 4 track EP with their characteristic melodic house sound boasting 2 original tracks. On remix duties the duo has invited Monkeeplatez' own Eintier. Young fast-shooter Dayne S delivers a deep house cut to complete the package.

Next to step up to D Edge's conceptual label OLGA is solo Berlin artist Martin Mueller aka youANDme. The acclaimed producer serves up three brilliant tracks that, like all releases on this label, are designed specifically with the Brazil club's futuristic styles and sumptuous sound system in mind.

youANDme runs a bunch of his own labels including some mysterious ones but also Rotary Cocktail Recordings, Polymorph and CUTZ.ME. He has been turning out deep and seductive jams for almost ten years now and have done so on Cocoon, Desolat and Finale Sessions amongst others. Always serving up brooding and physical machine made music with real underground soul, the music here is made up of great modular synth jams done in one take on old analogue machines that have authentic textures and atmospheres hidden within. It really feels like youANDme is speaking to us through his machines here, with subtle messages mirroring the turmoil of the global political times in with we live.

The first A1 cut on this Sinus Cosinus EP is a spooky and spine tingling num-ber with freaky and creepy synth lines sounding all trippy above a firmly rooted and rolling drum line. Dubby and full fat, it is the sort of heady tune to really drive a tight club crowd wild.

The second offering B1 is then a pressure building cut with heavy kick drums demanding you march to their beat. More sci-fi and spaced out sounds flesh out the grove up top and will help make for an otherworldly experience on the dance floor.

Last of all, the B2 track is more loose and unhinged, with watery and squelchy sounds dripping and popping off over rubbery drums. Textured and full of expert sound design, it is the sort of cut to really get people under a hypnotic spell.

Correspondant 40 was born in 2012 with the first ever meeting of Benoit Gagnon and Massimiliano Pagliara.

Benoit initially sent the tracks that now form the "In Spirals" EP to Massimiliano for nothing more than feedback. However Massi felt so inspired by the music that he xfelt compelled to add his personal analogue touch.

Opening track ‚In Spirals' is an unabashed ode to funked up baselines and sparkling Italo melodies. ‚Agamous' pulls us in to sensual acid territory by taking 808 beats and 303 beeps into unchartered sexy locales. ‚Go South' continues the sexed up and synthy motif, and throws some electricised jungle drumming into the mix, making this the most intense and darkest track on the EP. ‚Don't Push Me', begins its journey with a more grooving disco percussion line and then heaps on some Chicago pads, ultimately blossoming into a full blown hands-in-the-air synth-exercise.

The giant energy of an early 90s rave meet classic hip hop beats straight from the dusty SP-1200 on Cazion's debut record:

"Rap music runs very deep in my veins; by the time I was fourteen I was making mixtapes and obsessing over the huge, funky, bombastic sounds of late eighties hip hop," says Cazion's Photocall. "I still aspire to capture the snap and the bigness of the kind of sound you'd hear on a Paul C record, a Public Enemy record, and I still use the the same machines those guys used to do it," he adds, gesturing at the wealth of vintage gear cluttering his retro spaceship of a studio, The Escape Pod. "When you hear the first bar of this song, you might expect some dude with a cameo flattop to start rhyming about the Benzi Box in his Suzuki Samurai at any moment."

"We wanted to take it all the way," adds Maheras, from the depths of a glowing neon couch. "Some people shy away from using certain sounds because they're afraid to sound cheesy - but they forget to have fun. I'd rather have so much fun making a song that I forget to worry."

"Like the dancers we sampled," Photocall agrees. "The vocal snippets are from a British video that was shot on New Years Day, 1993, the morning after a giant rave. It's the middle of some field, people are pushing their cars out of the mud, and this one couple is still dancing their asses off. They don't care that there's no music playing; they're totally in the zone. My man DJ Duane happened to send us the link as we were programming the drums for this record, and something just clicked. We knew we were making this record for those two crazy kids, wherever they are. Possibly still in that field."

Here we have another Tech-House/Techno EP from Zooted and Booted Records... "Are You Ready"! The original mix by Dylan Debut and David Coker is a four to the floor bassline smasher that just keeps building and building until its deep analogue twisted cords send you in to a trance with solid 909 hats that sizzle all the way through. There's also the solid jacking house mix on the EP by none other than Mr deepjacking, Tommy Largo, that will shuffle its way through any bumping party, keeping it dirty and deep until the a.m. There's no stopping this EP as next on the list is an ultra-sweet deep and chunky mix by those classic Ornate boys Jonno & Tommo. This mix is hot and late night too but with some twisted extra layer and bumps that will send any man or woman crazy!!! Last but not least is the upfront dance hall thumper by none other than Eddie Leader, the bad man behind Hudd Trax. This mix has lush added extra keys and a solid old school analogue feel with some dirty little rave action running through it, but still keeping it in tune with today sounds and production. This mix would sit seriously well with the sun coming up at 5 am dancing on a beach surrounded by palm trees and thousands of party people! Play loud!

The ninth release from the well-formed Holic Trax label comes from Italian born hot property Tuccillo, fresh off the back of his massive EP for 2020Vision and recent work as Doublet with Holic boss Tomoki Tamura. This new EP will get released on a limited run of 500 coloured vinyl as well as digitally with each package containing different tracks.

Tucillo's sound is a cultured but club ready one with plenty of melodic intricacies and cues taken from chill out, disco, house and techno in equal measure. These four new tracks prove he is a master of his form very much still on the rise.

Up first is 'Just Gotta Believe' featuring Howard. It's a big, airy track with a rubbery bassline that rolls along with a sense of uplifting charm. Muted acid lines and Howard's vocal help flesh out the track and all in all it's a fine modern composition that's hugely refreshing.

Next up is the pumping house affair that is 'Organmind'. The beats and percussion are classical inclined but the melodies darting about within are loose and jazzy, romantic and heartfelt and really elevate the whole track. Some breathy female voices and more trumpet lines weave in and out and make for a perfectly pure house experience.

Vinyl only 'Introduciendo' is a more muted and mellow track that deals in minimal beats and waify, dreamlike melodies. It's the sort of thing you can easily get lost in and given the subtle intricacies, proves Tuccillo to be a real master in the studio.

Final track 'Musickly' is a digital only bonus that is full of gurgling tones, plenty of congas and weird synth sounds. It's trippy and intimate and really draws you into its centre as the louche drums slowly build around it.

Four killer tracks here that all explore slight different niches but all excel equally. It's a fine way to start the year for the always-considered Holic Trax.

Many people ask me what 30' means to me as it's just a simple number.30 is my current age, and age is nothing but a way to measure time that has gone.30 is the name of my first album, where I tried to involve in just one work all of my background and all of the efforts I made through the years. It's a goal achieved, an artistic and personal consciousness that I'd like to share as much as I can with you guys.I wanted to call it this way because I had the need to prove points, involving emotions and feelings, knowing that emotions and feelings are hard to contain. COME ON is a perfect track to bring the dancefloor to delirium. It is innovative, with a house groove and more Chicago House sounds. It has been already supported by many dj, finding a huge success in most important festivals.

CRAZY MAN is madness. The neurotic synth in the track is the best state of mind different, crazy and sometimes hysterical.

IN&OUT causes an adrenaline rush by harmonizing the bass of up to almost half track. With its 125 BPM has an incredible impact on the audience. The title is a clear criticism of the musical world, now locked in a system that often leaves home phenomenal artists rather than evaluate them as they deserve.

MY OWN SENSATION is a solar track. Melodies and mentioned vocals, accompanied by repeated bass throughout the track, blow up the track into a big party, maybe in Ibiza.

Immigrant Records launched in 1998 and after a six year hiatus is back with an EP produced by US techno veteran Casey Hogan - his first vinyl release since 2008. Casey emerged in the late 90's with fellow techno legends Adam Beyer, Dietrich Schoenemann, Alexi Delano and Jesper Dahlback and is a pioneer of the original tech-house genre. Now a professional sound engineer, he is back doing what he does best and is currently working on new projects and remixes with Robin Porter for Immigrant and Shva Muzik. The EP's title track "A Time Before Now" was produced back in 2000 and has been pulled from his archives to show what tech-house was, is and should be, with it's shuffling percussion, arresting bass line, pensive chord lines and introspective vocals. "Rebuilding" highlights Casey's ability to create an effortless techno groove that chugs along with undulating sub bass and hypnotic synth patterns. "On The Road" takes a detour down a darker road with a haunting sub bass, trademark shuffling percussion and mesmerising chords.

The Feel Music reboot continues with two new tracks from label boss John Daly. Continuing to push his tempo faster, while at the same time producing some of his deepest work yet. Paradise has been a live staple for a while, and it has definitely earned its spot on the label, rocking floors all over the place for some time now. After a slightly longer break than anticipated, we're back with a fresh 12".

This time the music comes from our good friend Lo Shea, aka Liam O'Shea.

Most people know Lo Shea from his Seaghdha 12"s and his stewardship of Sheffield's brilliant Hope Works nights but his involvement in Sheffield's music scene and music in general runs much, much deeper.

We're lucky to have him on board for a release this year as, as well as the Hope Works label's pending output, he's got material coming for new secretsundaze offshoot SZE (imminent), Transit and DEXT.

Marco Latrach from Chile, prepared a fantastic ep with four solid originals. In them we will find several mixtures of deep house, house and tech. Vision is driven by a very powerful string bass that makes the base for the rest of the elements and helps create an incredible vibe, which towards the end, gets empathized by some old school house base sounds and vocal phrases. KSK slowly follows the atmospheric soul of Vision, yet KSK gets into a deeper trip than the previous one making good use of subtle melodies and very well placed percussions, alongside the backend pad layers that finish closing the story perfectly. Hymno shows an amazing work with the synthesizer creating delicate layers of sounds between them, the vocoder lines and electric piano melodies. All this elements mixed with an acid bass line results in a very rich deep house experience. Lautaro Jazz Band goes into a much rhythmic road than the previous three tracks creating fantastic base for the synth chords and the sax solos which are the ones stealing the attention from the listener in this great track. Without a doubt this is a very complete ep with many facets of Marco Latrach's production skills for all house music lovers.
