Transit03 comes courtesy of Sheffield techno don, Lo Shea, with a crunching Kowton remix to boot.A driving force behind the burgeoning Sheffield house and techno scene, Hope Works curator, promoter, and resident DJ, Lo Shea has fused his years of musical experience with a myriad of influences from throughout the city to create a unique sound. Following on from his offerings on Secret Sundaze offshoot label SZE, and Never Learnt in 2015, this 12" for transit sees him exploring a darker, more immersive brand of techno for his 'Oxygen Lance' EP.
With his recent foray into more melodic territory in his 'Glock And Roll' EP for Whities, Kowton brings more of the same in his crunching interpretation of B-side 'Root Causes', continuing the evolution of his signature UK-bass influenced sound. Sleeve artwork by Alex Sullivan.

Therefore it is no real surprise that it is on Dr. Mottes very own PRAXXIZ Records that we are treated to Christopher Kahs latest and quiete superb 4 track EP 'Room4', which showcases the wide ranging production talents and deep understanding of his chosen creative zone that mark him out as very much a true player and a man clearly giving his beloved Techno a lot of love!

All 4 tracks, Slowly, Room4, Misery & Addict, display a finely crafted fusion of the essential aspects of various branches from Techno's very own Tree Of Life. The occasion A Francesco Tristano's hand behind a set of five killer tracks that conform ‚Piano, Hats & Stabs EP', an EP made for open-eared and open-minded listeners. Tristano, virtuoso pianist and composer known for his taste for the electronic and hybrid, has been blowing away dance music-heads for a while thanks to his impressive live sets solo and alongside the likes of Moritz von Oswald and Carl Craig - with whom he recently appeared on a special edition of Boiler Room. Now, Get Physical has the honor to be hosting the musician's even deeper delve into the world of techno. Inspired by an 'ongoing quest to unite the sounds of the acoustic grand piano with electronic synthesizers, sequences and drum loops", the ‚Piano, Hats & Stabs EP' draws from over nine months of studio sessions all the way from Paris and Utrecht to Barcelona and Rome. A tense and reeling monster of a release that would seem aimed at leaving you breathless - and setting dance floors on fire -, you can almost picture Tristano hunched over a grand piano, hammering away like a madman for the five tracks that take us from ‚Dminorloop' split personality with its build-ups and deconstructions to the driving ‚Sarasani', on to ‚Stekker Sound Driver' decaying bassline and ‚Gaza World Cup' chest-thumping roll. It all ends on a lighter note with ‚Place on Lafayette' almost psychedelic keys - actually recorded on Lafayette Place, in Detroit. Techno, Electronica, classical Its been said a good artist is one who can defy genres and titles, and we'll be damned if there was a bigger defyer than Francesco Tristano. 'This is, in the words of the great Paul Frick, 'elektronische Körpermusik'. Plainly, time to get physical... I am absolutely thrilled to have a release here.

When San Francisco's ICEE HOT launched its own record label last fall with a new record from Ghosts On Tape (one of the party's founders), there was a lot of talk about how quiet he's been in recent years. Now, a mere nine months later, that's all changed.

Following the release of "Nature's Law," Ghosts On Tape has been on an absolute tear, dropping numerous remixes and turning out new tunes at a blinding clip. At this point, he's built up a solid reserve of dancefloor weapons, and ICEE HOT is thrilled to begin unleashing it upon the world.

"No Guestlist" is the first salvo, and it's an absolute stormer. Combining the brash spirit of classic Chicago with Ghosts On Tape's drum-heavy sensibilities, the much sought-after tune has been lighting up ICEE HOT for months and is poised to do some major damage. The producer's own "Underground Mix" takes things deeper, albeit while keeping the sass of the original version intact.

Finnish producer Arttu has also been enlisted to remix "No Guestlist," and kicks off the b-side with a playful and light-hearted take that employs snapping drum patterns and gleefully lilting melodies. Rounding out the record is another Ghosts On Tape original, "Still Got the Feeling," a darker, slower burning cut that reflects just how effective he can be when experimenting with a more techno-flavored template.

After his latest Be As One release O.D. / Helter Skelter", and following Yotam Avni and Konplott's endevours on the label, Shlomi Aber keeps Techno flowing from his imprint, releasing his new Zipperwork / Clones In My Backroom' EP. Zipperwork' is a relentless, fast paced Techno cut, heavy bass and chunky groove, with a smartly programmed groove. Flip the side, and with Clones In My Backroom' you get a slice of straight acidic Techno funk, a big room anthem with a distinctive quirky line that goes the extra mile, set to be one of the major of tune of Spring 2015.

Tim Green is back and presents his 3rd release for Cocoon Recordings. With the two predecessors in mind these three records make a really cool trilogy as all of them are ultra deep, electronic, emotional and (again) perfectly programmed! Among Wolves' follows the typical Tim Green formular with this highly musical way of combining surpreme beats and massive basslines with deep melodies. This is music, this is art and this story telling with sounds. Among Wolves' is one of Greens most dramatic productions so far and it will for sure take you on a trip while getting lost on the floor. Over The Water' appears a bit more relaxed however it doesn't leave the emotional and dramatic corner. If you are bored of all those simple and loop-based toolhouse productions you'll definitely find something touching and interesting here. Tim Green prooves again that he is the uncrowned master of electronic music if it comes to deep and emotional productions. Something to feed your brain, your body and your soul. Something to get lost to and something to stand out for sure!

The Experience is a project by Andrea Benedetti and Eugenio Vatta released back in 1992. The track "Madcap" was realized during the period of the collaboration of the duo with Lory D'S Sounds Never Seen period and it's an experiment that mix techno, breakbeat and sample extravaganza at its best. The main track "Tubes" was a deep techno monster presented in two versions. One has been recoreded live with Andrea Benedetti managing drum machine and bass, Eugenio Vatta sampling, chords and effects and Paolo Dieni on percussion. The second one has more emphasis on melodies and effects with different equalizations and volumes concerning percussion and drum machine. Samuel Rohrer's arjunamusic label is rapidly becoming a distinctive voice in an ever-expanding wilderness of musical experimentation, effortlessly finding the common ground between the improvisational impulse and the rhythmic architecture of electronic dance music. The emerging sound of this label is one that seems to be all at once biological, technological, and theoretical, and so the collaborative choice for this new release is a very appropriate one to continue down this path. Tyler Friedman, a multi-faceted creator whose experiments have included the stimulation of natural bioluminescence via an automated piano, brings a sense of hyper-realism to the table which meshes in very interesting ways with Rohrer's conversational percussive instincts.
Tyler Friedman's original mix of YYY' is led by a bouncing and playful set of melodic figures, featuring an intimate timbral quality like a hybrid kalimba and vibraphone. Various other tonal curiosities fly around the central figures like luminous insects, and this already intriguing tapestry of sound becomes more colorful via the gradual introduction of cleverly deployed de-tuning, sharp portamento shifts and stuttering delay effects. By the time the piece comes to a close, the effect is of
standing beneath a cascade of steadily falling sound objects, of being literally showered in sound.
The drum and vocal dub by Tyler Friedman and Samuel Rohrer, bringing the voice of Tora Augestad into the picture, captures the same cascading feel of the original with a very different, and occasionally 'grittier', instrumental vocabulary. Rohrer's nimble work on his kit helps the listener to navigate through an unfamiliar but intoxicating terrain of sensory impressions, as electronic treatments on Augestad's voice steadily transmogrify it into something silvery and synthetic before returning it back to its original form. Weaving dramatic melodicism and intense abstraction together like the double strands of a DNA molecule, this highly innovative mix should find ways enhance and expand just about any listening environment. YYY' is a record for those who enjoy the sound of artists challenging themselves to step outside of proscribed boundaries, and succeeding.
Tyler Friedman is a sound artist, composer and producer. His approach utilizes a blend of music theory, synthesis, sound design, analog/digital studio techniques and conceptual imagination. In addition to his own projects, he has collaborated on the sound and composition of multiple art projects, notably with Turner Prize nominees The Otolith Group, whose films have been commissioned by Documenta 13 and Haus der Kunst in Munich, and Andreas Greiner on his installation Multitudes for bio-luminescent algae and player piano. Recently he has had two releases of lysergic- experimental club music on the Swedish label Kontra Musik: a double EP titled CCC:BB:BBB:JJ and the 12" Vulkalaunai. Altogether, his practice is situated between art, creative engineering, musicology, club and theory.
Samuel Rohrer is one of the influential improvisational musicians of his generation in the field of experimental and improvised music and is touring worldwide performing on major festivals like Punkt Festivalen, NorthSea Festival, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Nuits Sonores Lyon, Montréal International Festival or CTM Berlin and working with numerous projects and artists including

Laurie Anderson, Sidsel Endresen, Max Loderbauer, Nan Goldin, Jan Bang, Mark Feldman, Charles Gayle, Skuli Sverrisson, Eivind Aarset, Trygve Seim or Vincent Courtois. His work is since 2012 mainly released on his label arjunamusic records, besides a partly documentation on numerous ECM albums.

KANN selected another proper 'Family Horror' 8 track compilation with both renowned and new faces, after the first edition saw the day of light in 2011. Check out the range that represents their own vision of spacey house & deeper techno nowadays. For this reissued family celebration the following relatives joined the stock: Pablo Mateo from hot burning Lack Rec., Knutsson / Berg - a sweet swedish collaboration of Hans Berg and Johanna Knutsson, Llewellyn aka Lake People, Hiver from Curle Recordings fame and more of the label's local connections such as Perm the analog prince, Falke, QY and Alkohole.

Deep in the bowels of the Dixon Avenue basement lived a man so outrageously overweight we used him for a sofa. King Chubby, a suite chap but a bit cheeky. The debut full EP from the Diamond Sublimating duo might catch you off guard. A record that is earthy and dark yet somewhat ethereal, this 002 for the new label comes in steaming. Recorded by the Hungarian duo on Csepel Island of Budapest, "The Heat Is On" grinds and swirls through expertly crafted blends of house, techno and breakbeat to deliver a body of work that will suit dancefloors at the same time as solo introspection. Remixes from London's Altered Natives and Budapest native Mate Tollner slot in perfectly, each providing their respective take on the homegrown soundscaping that is Diamond Sublimating. The Heat Is On!

New York coterie Sheik 'N' Beik line up the next 12' in a string of successful releases including Legowelt & Xosar under their now defunct Xamiga guise, Jeffrey Scott and label owner Rechulski. Enlisted for their 7th record is the Japan based Mister Saturday Night and 1080P affiliate Keita Sano.

With a strong affinity to analogue sound and old school audio processing, Sano renders personal mind-maps in his work - eclectic and off-kilter productions shot-through with warmth and propelled by potent drums. His latest offering for Sheik 'N' Beik is one fans old and new will relish: a series of 4 warped excursions showcasing Sano's refined and idiosyncratic studio techniques.

'Bypass Motion' kicks things off with a fizzing 909 and a loose-limbed bass pattern set churning under brisk, steely atmospheres. Dense in the low-end, 'Child's Play' then follows up with a hard-nosed groove carried by horror-movie sweeps and distant computerised vocals.

Digital exclusive 'DRTSY' then packs in washed drums set to an arresting, pacy groove alongside haunting vocal builds and melodic, filtered bubbles. 'Mixing Error' then sets a staggered kick pattern spearing through a rich fog of tape noise that gathers with it thick pads and distant, menacing synth tones that generate a capacious sense of space and close off another fine addition to Sheik 'N' Beik's blooming catalogue

Release number 10 introduces us to the music of Nachtamt. This is his debut release and he is another one of Estroe's Music Advice Agency talents.

Nachtamt first met Estroe in 2013 as he was looking to get advice on producing music with Ableton Live. It meant that in their first session together Estroe had to 'endure' Nachtamt's extensive library of FastTracker productions, but after a few more sessions she would begin to hear the potential in Nachtamt's Ableton creations.

The sessions with Estroe would drive Nachtamt to create more and more music which eventually lead to Estroe
signing two of his exquisitely evocative tracks to Rosedale Records.

The idea behind Nachtamt's original mix of 'Enhanced Awareness' is to depict levels of awareness and how people perceive the world, and how things may not be what they seem at first glance. The track starts with a springy bassline while gentle aqueous percussion materializes gradually as if delicate raindrops are beginningto fall on the surface of a small stream. Like a floating leaf, one is carried along in the flow. High metallic synth sounds shimmer like moonlight through trees and dance delicately with the emerging carillon of chiming melodies as the whole semblance of the track transforms into something a little less gentle, but more gloriously lush.

MUUI's remix of 'Enhanced Awareness' explores Nachtamt's idea further and deeper. It opens with a mood of apprehensiveness. A continuous single note hangs uneasy in the mix as distant and reverb soaked bass synths lurk, brooding in the shadows like a menacing figure. Short, sharp melodies hide almost from view while the chattering percussion which occasionally surfaces is like a paranoid thought - or like nervous eyes watching...

The question is, who is hiding from who

The original mix of 'A Minority of One' contemplates a quote from George Orwell's '1984' in which the main character, Winston, considers whether or not he is mad for believing the truth even when no one else does.

'Perhaps a lunatic was simply a minority of one.' The staccato orchestral stabs and almost militaristic rhythm of the percussion is obedient, like the citizens of 'Oceania', they work away throughout the track while the introspective but defiant sounding lead captures the idea of a solitary mind beautifully. Estroe's remix of 'A Minority of One' starts off with sombre pads and atmospherics. The loneliness of the overlying melody and it's introspective nature portray the 'Minority of One' theme perfectly. Once again, as in the original, orchestral stabs announce themselves. Unsubmissive they stand out, on their own, reinforcing the original idea further. However there is a different feel to the remix in that the mood is more reflective and while quite melancholic, there are periodic moments of optimism, like Winston has slowly accepted the nature of his thoughts.

Mother Recordings head honcho returns with a huge EP that see's him dropping the club bombs that he is so well known for.

Walking
On Walking Nhan Solo is joined by Mother Recordings regular Dilby for the first of a series of collaboration projects from the pair. The track works around a deadly combination of tension and release coupled with a memorable hook to create a pumping and funky ass shaker. While the name of the track is Walking, this record gets the crowd running to the dancefloor.

Corncob
The Mexican fiesta is in full swing when señor Solo is in the building so you know Corncob is going to get the party jumping. Imaginative sampling, clubby drums and pumping bass is the order of the day here providing a very unique sound, reminiscent of his chart hit "Tell You". Don't sleep on this one!

AdMaiora is proud to announce another release. No one other than Arado makes his debut on our label with 'Even If U Have' EP.
Hailing from Düsseldorf, Arado made his strong entrance in the music scene back in 2010 with 'Uganda Express' (with Den Ishu): since than he's been Loco Dice's protégé for a long time, with several appareances on Desolat, Area Remote and Snatch! to name a few.
He also had some very successful collaborations with Italian Marco Faraone, which were released on Moon Harbour and Etruria beat too.
Arado debuts on AdMaiora with a three-tracker EP entitled 'Even If You Have'. The main track is a strong and aggressive rolling techno jam, where stomping kicks meet rough grooves.
Constantly moving and evolving, he goes a bit away from his typical dub-melodic signature, showing his darker side.
On the remix duty we have the honor to see Vatos Locos' man himself Hector.
Fresh of the foundation of his own 'VL Recordings' and after a super-party season which culminated at the 'BPM FESTIVAL 2016', he rocks with his personal vision of the original.
In his version of 'Even If You Have' we can find his unmistakable sense for deep tech grooves with a fat and dry old school hi-hat, giving his personal 'club alert' twist.
On the B side we have two more originals: 'Takin My Time To Perfect The Beat (YO)' kicks off the things with an housy hi-string on the intro and while the groove starts taking control of the track, some dubbin' and delayed big stabs creates a perfect ambiance for opening sets or afterhours.
'Lead In' is another dancefloor must have, where mainroom percussions and full-bodied bassline perfectly match together, giving life to another club smasher.

What's in the du name 030303 records asked three of their favourite prod'ucers with matching names to du an ep together: Ann Harbour's D'Marc Cantu and Mark du Mosh & Paul du Lac, both from the dutch harbour city Rotterdam. The result is dynamite! A1"Mine Motion" is a monsterous jacker in the rawest form how only mr Cantu can du! On the B side Mark du Mosh takes off with a flight to "Bermuda" with a hot & steamy roaring electronic beast sitting on the wing of the plane and causing some heavy turbulence. Fortunatly du Mosh keeps us flying high with some deep emotional synths. Last but not least Paul du Lac delivers a dark psychedelic techtool called "Beta Rhythm". A track that creeps under your skin as a virus, causing some serious haziness from noding your head. Be aware that this record will appear on vinyl only!

A new side project from one of Rotterdam's most talented producers, Alden Tyrell!. Two highly infectious house tracks deeply rooted in the culture of New York's early 90's garage parties and New Jerseys club scene.

Today we bring the debut single from Gutti Legatto & Mike Denitz called - El Pasacalle . The exciting original is backed by two excellent remixes from Lucio Spain and Fideles.

- El Pasacalle crawls up your neck like dark anticipation. Delicate beats smoothly build to a deep bassline, this track is a pure dancefloor rocket. We already know that this track will raising some roofs throughout the summer.

Following that, it's Lucio Spain on the remix, dropping a different groove but with equal impact. Perfectly reflecting his style, deep but powerful and with passion. This techie edge gives the track a little more bite and drive, making it perfect for late night sessions.

The Fideles remix takes the original even deeper and with it's super-low bassline. Fideles brings his own distinctive sound to the track with high-hats that snap and clap over some ultra-funky, bouncing bass. This remix takes - El Pasacalle deep underground, rubs it raw, and delivers it back to us in a package that is, well, just fabulous!

- Pasamontanas the second original explores a deep, tribal vibe with darker elements that drive the tension to crowd pleasing levels. It is a straight up, in your face monster. There's no way to get around it, so we recommend to relax and undergo the sonic punishment.

These tracks will be absolutely essential to DJ's who want to go beyond the summer anthem clichés while giving dancefloors hungry for estival vibes something truly special. Enjoy!

We Play The Music We Love is an Italian and Uk based party that after 7 years of activity has decided to start with its own vinyl only label. The first release comes from one of the founders and resident DJ of the collective: RILLS. He clearly stamping his mark on the label with two solid tracks to launch things with some claut. The two original tracks, one featuring Sinderesi, explore some dubby house territory with mesmerising chords that will be appreciated on any demanding dancefloor. The additional remix is from the producer of the moment: Samuel Andre Madsen a.k.a. S.A.M. (Oscillat, Delaphine, Mandar, Fathers and Sons).

Having releases on Third Ear, 100% Silk and Mister Saturday Night ("Shower Scene" was featured on John Talabot's Dj Kicks Compilation) under his belt, Brooklyn's Alex Burkat provides a full on EP for Permanent Vacation.

Launched in May of 2014, Tuskegee Music is a 'label of cultural heritage' run by House luminaries Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers. With previous releases from the label heads themselves as well as William Kouam Djoko, Ibellini, Filsonik and Jesse Colosso the next installment comes from a new addition to the Tuskegee fold - a veiled, Berlin based legend operating under the guise of Kool D.

Across an extolled catalogue, the man behind Kool D has refined his sound and stamped his own unique brand on House that is consistently interjected with a degree of energy that stand his productions apart from those of his peers. This - his first under this alias - is no exception: a twisted and elongated meld of nifty sound design, tightly swung rhythms and trippy, syncopated bass lines that are guaranteed to send the floor into rapture.

'Casablanca Sessions' kicks off with a series of off-kilter loops set tumbling over a whittled kick drum and creeping tom pattern. African vocals interject and whip up fervour while short, sharp percussive flashes keep momentum rolling. Contorting throughout, tension is astutely lifted throughout while the Dub version on the B-Side offers a more stripped yet effective tool that rounds off yet another solid addition to the Tuskegee series and keeps us guessing where they'll be turning to next!

Culprit is delighted to kick­start its sixth year with a 50th EP release ­ Maxxi Soundsystem's 'Medicine'.

The 'Medicine' EP represents Maxxi Soundsystem's full­fledged Culprit debut, after providing a standout remix of Burnski & M A N I K's 'YJG' last year. The EP is Maxxi's re­union with his frequent vocal collaborator Name One ­ their massive 'Regrets I Have No Use For' was surely one of the songs of 2012 for the venerable Hypercolour label. Coincidentally, this is a second year running that Culprit begin their year with a record featuring Name One - his work for Adriatique's 'Midnight Walking' got 2014 off to a flying start for the LA imprint.

'This EP represents the pick of the tracks I did working with Name One, they are songs but totally focused on the dancefloor ­ initially I thought of these as 3 singles but we did so many tracks together in a relatively short space of time it seemed only right to introduce them to the world on the same record. Working with Jack (Name One) is always a pleasure ­ his lyrics and ideas are in my opinion a huge level above what you find in most dance music'. Maxxi Soundsystem

'Medicine' EP is a confident statement of intent from the Brighton­based producer, with three single­ready songs combined on one strong release. The hook­laden title track, the stark groove of 'Lone Raver' and the deeply melodic 'Fading Thought' all combine Maxxi's dynamic composition and crisp production values with Name One's memorable lyrics that go beyond the typical dance music fodder. Maxxi Soundsystem opens Culprit's 2015 with a bang and is certain to be one of the label's leading artists for some time to come.

Mister Ho and Heap are ambassadors of the river Danube. This is their first offering for the ESP Institute. On side A, Collision Resistance throws us into the bowels of an underground sex lair with an adrenaline-laden heartbeat for a kick drum, a rough dose of fisting illustrated by the combination of bassline with low-tom and an unrelenting snare that whips us raw into submission. Somewhere in between the waves of punishment we can start to audibly pick up tortured moans of endurance and pleasure, but maybe its time we pull our minds from the gutter, wipe the sweat from our brow and flip the record for a reward. With side B's Veils Of The Beloved, Mister Ho & Heap deliver us via speedboat to the white isle, coasting along to bouncy staccato bass notes and machine bleeps as a euphoric chord progression puts us in an 808 state of mind. The percussion arrangement and phasing string flourishes are introduced through a filter, opening slowly as if coming up for air from a beautiful blue abyss. These two songs are neither too salty nor too sweat.
