MONDO DISKO club has been, for over the past 16 years, the flagship for discerning electronic music lovers and dancers in Madrid. With a loyal and enthusiastic crowd and a booking policy that combines a selection of solid resident djs alongside a list of high quality international artists, creating a record label seemed to be the most reasonable step to follow..

MONDO DISCOS is born as an extension of the club, with the sole intention of bringing to light musical projects that excite us, projects with which we feel particularly identified.

For our first reference, which we found particularly important as it will set the tone, we have a very special and mysterious proposal called MENTHO. This is the brand-new side project of a well known house duo that wishes to remain anonymous for now, and wanted to dig deeper into their more experimental side

Teo's Sock consists basicaly on a mix of electronic, experimental music, halfway between mental electronic vibes and instropected techno. Polirithmic and intrincate patterns with an afro sounding background, deep and moody synth work and an overall endless melodic vibe.

Having made a nice splash for himself with his recent outing on Delusions of Grandeur and recent string of quality releases on his own imprint, Shadeleaf, we are proud to welcome in thatmanmonkz for our next release on Kolour LTD. He serves up three immense cuts of deep, underground rhythms with that infamous "touch of soul" that is quickly becoming his own trademark. Remix duties were laid upon someone we've had our eye on for quite some time now - Glenn Astro. His unique musical vision & precise execution is on full display with his remix of "Remember" and the end result speaks for itself. Needless to say we're very excited to have him in! Altogether it's an exceptional package of tunes more than worthy for the 16th slot in our Kolour LTD catalogue!

Following April's second Leonidas & Hobbes EP, HM005 is another Various Artists EP, the third in the series of Trouble Remix compilations, featuring remixes of a selection of up-and-coming acts from across Scotland by some of the label's favourite Scottish producers. It's been a very exciting first year for Hobbes Music, with DJs and critics lining up to praise the fledgling Edinburgh label: Erol Alkan, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Justin Robertson, Ashley Beedle, Maceo Plex, Ivan Smagghe, Domenic (Subculture), JD Twitch (Optimo), Jimpster, TEED, Citizen, Sean Johnston, M.A.N.D.Y., Philippe Zdar, Sinden, Locksmith (Rudimental), Bot (Crookers), Alan Braxe, Alex Metric, Leftside Wobble, Mixmag, Resident Advisor, i-D Magazine, Mixmag and more. i-D Magazine hosted a 'Back To Mine' mix by Leonidas & Hobbes on their Soundcloud which had over 7,000 plays and a whole load of love in less than a week (April '14).

Black Venison returns with their debut artist VRRS for the 5th release in the catalogue. The A side opens up with 'Brique' a crunching techno roller with a rave vocal straight out of the early 90s. Hungarian producer 'S.Olbricht' turns in a jungle inspired remix of 'Brique', chopped break and vocals are the order of the day. On the flip side we VRRS explores more housey territory first with 'Innerside, a pitched swinger and second with Gonnaarp a bouncy lo-fi take of a classic house aesthetic.

Piramide Registrazioni delivers music aiming to keep a solid sound integrity and coherence throughout time, yet not depending on a determined style. For it's debut release Piramide crew drops an hypnotic 3 tracker which puts the audience into a spiral of spacey and gritty sounds.

All We Want is Vario Volinski. You may recognize his name from one of the summer tunes of 2013 - Falling in Love. With All I Want, Mr. Volinski created a tune that is more garage style than the things he did before. Proving, that his previous summer tune wasn´t a one hit wonder and that he surely is one of the producers to watch in the future. And PWU wasn´t PWU if we didn´t find a talented young gun as a remixer. So we found him. Dan Grassler. A guy from munich who convinced us from the very beginning. And his remix AWESOME!

This is a release we were really looking forward to for a long time. And we hope you like it just as much as we do!

The Esclama's Crew is happy to present the first vinyl release. Makarena EP is a project by Aldo Cadiz and Matthew Lima, they delivered an Original Mix with a very elegant sound, characterized by a gentle piano and tribal rhythms. To complete the project, there are also three remixes : Hollen, Gonzalez & Gonzalo and Ermes & Puce. This EP is suitable for any dancefloor.

Debut 12' for Ruutu Poiss and follow up release for the label after last year's double hitter from Ajukaja & Andrevski.
Two extraterrestrial cuts for the dancefloor - heroic bubbler 'Kiiged'with its ethereal pads and sub bass emotes and propels in equal measure, while 'Noad' on the b-side broods in altogether heavier weather. With releases on Frustrated Funk, Shipwrec and many more discerning imprints - Seattle-based electro artist 214 (Two Fourteen) aka Chris Roman has made a welcome, if not inevitable debut on CPU - with 4 tracks of icy beats, bass and bleeps, fans of ERP and Plant43 will relate.

Hotflush's remix series continues in style with fresh interpretations of Dense & Pika's 'Colt' and 'Airless'. The UK techno duo's slamming main-room originals are still hot properties, but in the hands of George FitzGerald and Grain they get new life and perspective breathed into them.

George FitzGerald is the Berlin based Brit who made a big impact with his bass heavy tunes on labels like Aus and Hotflush before getting snapped up by a Domino offshoot Double Six for his acclaimed debut album earlier this year. He returns to Hotflush in grand style with a remix of the now-classic cut 'Colt'. Uplifting and replete with the inimitable tropes on which he has made his name - emotion and groove in equal measure - FitzGerald revitalises the original's unforgettably forlorn piano hook. The second remix comes from Grain aka influential and multifaceted producer, Artwork. This is an old alias of his that makes a stomping return. His take on Airless is an exquisitely boisterous techno roller: heavyweight kicks, lively ticks and some serious main-room heft.

Desonanz is a new project of Frederik Hatsav (Metalogic) and Marcus C. Maichel (The Delta, X-Dream). By combining their outstanding production skills, those two geniuses manage to produce an EP which is truly outstanding and simply mind-blowing. With Desonanz, the two masterminds focus on the deep exploration of dark and progressive
soundscapes and they deliver 3 rolling and driving dancefloor-killers made for the peaktime

For our 29th release, we are proud to present a 5 track EP featuring Colombian duo Obando and Figueroa. With their prior productions gaining the support of Marco Carola, Dubfire and Carl Cox, we are very excited for their 3 newest originals; 'Liebe to Love', 'La Expression' and 'Playground'. Following their recent releases with Rawthentic and Bouq, we are excited to feature there brilliant deep tech sound on our imprint.

King Cheetah is new shining star from the Motor City. The new release is 3 tracks inspired from techno vinyl digging in the late 90s. A time when music was a lot more simple and focused on a vibe through the use hardware limitations. Though, its King Cheetah's first official release, he has been making music for over 20 years in seclusion on the West side of Detroit. Finally, after almost a year of negotiation, we've struck a chord and are able to present this release!

We also celebrate the first release of Light Body Works. Light Body Works is a music label who doesn't claim any city as its own since its irrelevant these days. The intention is to release club music that both induces hypnotic states through repeating melodic movements and straight rhythm patterns.

The Hivern edit series is back with its 4th instalment, this time with two joints by Lost Scripts, the duo of John Talabot and Pional. On the A side, S.O.P. revamps the theme of a popular TV series with krautish rhythms and woozy percussive details to transform it into kosmische monster ready for the club. On the flip, A.F.K. is an uplifting afro-house number that pairs ritualistic percussion and African chants with curly synths to create a journey that starts in the savannah and ends in outer space. A proven dancefloor wrecker. As per usual, the release comes as a limited edition 10 inch housed in a silk-screened sleeve. This is a vinyl only release.

Debut output from new label Made In Glasgow Recordings established to give a platform to homebased Glasgow artists in collaboration with established dj's / producers worldwide.

Our first release is Octave One's interpretation of Glaswegian singer / songwriter Pete MacLeod's version of Lounge Act. A bass driven dub mix in typical Octave One style with full vocal remix from the US techno pioneers on the A side.

Mana All Nite is another imprint of DJ duo Manamana. Next to their artist focused label KANN they established a new vinyl platform. Mana#3 comes from Steppin' Wolf, a fresh reckless producer that serves a super multifarious emotive 5 track ep.

22a's eleventh release comes from Sterling Styles. A newcomer to the 22a roster, Sterling offers two cuts of classic garage, originally recorded in 1998. If you know about 22a then you'll know what to expect. Limited to 500 this is a release not to be missed.

STL has been a firm favourite of Phonica Records ever since his first releases surfaced in the early 2000s. Although he is highly revered within the underground scene, he's always kept a low profile and consistently pursued his own blend of boundary pushing abstract and experimental House & Techno. The majority of his music has been released through his own 'Something' imprint but his unique productions have also found a home on Perlon, Smallville and Detroit's Echospace. The two tracks on 'The Amplified Bleep Package' EP marks his first contribution to Phonica's white label series and we're extremely happy have him on board. Earworm' on the A side is a rough and rugged house cut comprised of dusty analogue kicks, warm tape hiss and gritty percussion that locks you into an irresistible groove straight from the start. This is an energetic, club-ready late night stepper.
Flipside you'll find an entirely different vibe to the heavily distorted 'Earworm'. Clocking in at just under ten minutes, 'A Cat And Her Solar Life' is a cosmic journey filled with beautiful synth melodies and harmonics.

"It was very important for me to give a dub-ish colour to this EP and propose something different than what people already know from me.'Pressure Feed' is a tribute to all Maurizio's tracks which I never get bored listening or playing. Regarding 'Water Flood', I wanted to produce something simple that stands far from the traditional 4/4 beat. I wanted to make it a break beat on the kick while bringing refined ambiance and atmospheric patches to it. Solkyss proudly presents the debut EP from Paresse - master of cinematic disco & balearic slowness. Grand Fall EP is a dreamy melancholic journey with three slow burners that will stay in our hearts (and bags) for a long time. Paresse is the alias of Stockholm based producer Ivan Berggren. Though this debut sounds as fresh as they come, he's been a long time contributor to the music community with previous releases on various labels such as Correspondant Records, Magic Feet Recordings and Glasgow Underground. His versatility has worked its way through the spectrum from delivering dance floor bombs to composing scores for feature films. Title track Grand Fall comes with a remix by Locked groove who has transformed the track into a ten minute long hypnotic open-air banger. Perfect for those early mornings - It's been tested and it works.

PRAYMOND is a French Artist and long time record collector. After years of travelling and playing across Europe and America, he decided to release his first EP. This record is not just an elegant DJ tool but it's also a really smart take on how to bring a discrete touch of acoustic in a music usually dominated by analogue and digital sounds. 3 tracks on this EP. Huguette uses a lot of acoustic elements to deliver an epic dancefloor track Chamalowe slows the tempo in order to make the pattern heavier Timeless Memory is a tribute to Dub Techno with an acoustic take, touch of Platon records

With their first co-production, DJ / producer Paul Woolford and the Irish-born producer team Paul Hamill and Dee Lievense aka Psycatron deliver the prove that UK Techno has not lost any of its energy or visionary power in the year 2010.

Mathias 'SHOW-B' Schober makes his Pooledmusic debut with the Arps EP. A talented producer & engineer, Schober has been releasing under his SHOW-B alias since 2007, since when he has had EP releases on Poker Flat & Compost Black Label, an exclusive track featured on La Fleur's Watergate 16 compilation, and a release on Delusions of Grandeur with Milton Jackson as Pattern Select. The Arps EP sees SHOW-B blending his various talents in the A side 'Arps To Heaven', a heady deep house track with a swirling melody that recalls the trippier end of Strength Music and Deepblak's respective outputs. On the B1, Ian Pooley follows up his huge Innervisions EP 'Floris' and the Rejected re-issue of his anthem Chord Memory by fusing the original's psychedelic elements with a classic, irresistible Pooley groove. The B2, 'Isifuba', sees Schober focusing on a swinging house beat structure for the early hours dancefloors.

Souvenir Music is proud to introduce you to its IN THE CITY #3 compilation which will be released in conjunction with a worldwide tour, hitting all major cities of Europe from April to the end of summer 2013. Label owners, Tiefschwarz, have hand-picked the artists who represent the breadth and variety of Souvenir's extensive roster to join them on an the all-encompassing, pre-festival season musical adventure and compilation package. Every participating artist has given an exclusive track to the project - those tracks will then be compiled in 3 separate parts and released on vinyl and digital throughout the duration of the tour, and finally released as one complete entity. Artists representing the label under the IN THE CITY #3 banner include some of some of the best musicians

Sideral is the debut 12' of Talaboman, the super-duo of Hivern Discs' John Talabot and Studio Barnhus' Axel Boman. The record is released as a joint venture between the labels and comes with a slow-burning remix by Köln-based producer Matt Karmil to accompany the boombastic original version, which was also featured on John Talabot's much praised entry in the DJ-Kicks mix series last year. This record is dedicated to the legendary dj Aleix 'Sideral' Vergés, who ruled over Barcelona's underground discotecas during the turn of the millennium and sadly passed away in 2006. A truly fearless and idiosyncratic dj, Sideral mixed genres wildly and brilliantly, uniting in the dance people from all kinds of musical backgrounds. At a time when few djs dared cross musical borders, he was a real inspiration for both the Barca native Talabot and the young Swede Boman, who lived in the city during the peak of Sideral's reign.

The 4th Ark to Ashes release features various artists. 1st we have a collaboration between 2 of the Analog Room residents, Shadi Megallaa & Siamak Amidi. Up next are the Leftback boys, Michael McLardy & Dudley Strangeways. The A-side features a new project called APSE by Shadi Megallaa & Sasha Kaline of Alka Rex. Lastly the EP ends with The Linguini's remix of Monotax which was previously released on Igloo Records.
