After a considerable hiatus from releasing music, eliphino makes a triumphant return with 4 tracks of deep, emotive and soulful music that provide a unique journey through various styles and moods that should be familiar to anyone that has followed his output thus far. Made during a period of deep self reflection whilst taking a year break from London in Berlin, the results are at times sombre but always engaging and forward facing.

This EP marks the first release on Joy in Repetition, a new label and labour of love from eliphino and Andy Lemay (Head of Press and Partnerships for Dimensions Festival). The aim of the label is to concentrate on any kind of soulful electronic music that inspires the pair thus avoiding the liner restrictions that often come with a strict attachment to one specific genre.
'Isabella Road', which featured in Jackmaster's DJ Kicks mix earlier in the July, kicks things off with dreamy yet foreboding synth lines sitting on top of organic yet heavyweight drums leading to a wall shaking crescendo that would resonate with any discerning dancefloor.
'Piano Day' and 'April' are both rich in of kilter sonic ideas and intriguing drum programming. References to jungle and broken drum patterns juxtaposed with cinematic melodies mean these tracks would both keep the attention of the listener at home or fit perfectly into a more adventurous DJ set. The EP is rounded off with 'Linklater', a lush piece of house music with crispy drums and solemn, soulful strings.

Channeling the energy echoing off dancefloors along his path, Reinier Zonneveld has been on a steady slope rolling out dance igniting productions while touring an intricate live set. Megacity Servant, the artist's third studio effort, stands as a coherent 16-piece techno outfit tinged with experimental tones while playfully deconstructing classic acid and disco fragments. Coming from a classical music background, Reinier's style of production ranges from cavernous powertracks to more concise trips subdued with melancholic piano-stemmed soundscapes, rounding up to a signature sound that is evident as it is enveloping. Plastic People, our intro to Reinier's collective body of work, swiftly introduces a raw techno dungeon mood. Varying elements make for a surrealist atmosphere. Whispered vocals give a soft edge, while the contrast between the upbeat melody and grave stems reiterate its dreamlike character. Following up in the same timbre, a heavy-hitting percussion sets off 8 Ball. The moving bassline is revealed as centerpiece, while faint vocals antagonize the rhythm. Techno mainstay vocalist Cari Golden makes a notable appearance on Things We Might Have Said. Having previously teamed up with sonorous names like Pan Pot, Fur Coat & Coyu, Golden's stellar vocals and skillful lyrics shine paired with Zonneveld's production prowess. The production-vox chemistry is instant, as the track mesmerizes from the get go. I've picked 3 steamers from his archive, all made on a bunch of really amazing analogue synths and especially mastered for vinyl by stalker himself through his incredible collection of mastering gear. Forget waves l2, we are talking Fairman, TMC, Elysia Alpha & Maselec mla-3. That is the type of analogue we are talking about.
It's hard to believe that this is his first vinyl release. I know it won't be the last.

Travel by Goods is a German label run by the ethnomusicologist Arthur Boto Conley. After investigating the socio- cultural conditions of live-performances in the field of electronic music, the topic of the latest release TBG06 is the history and perception of the euclidean rhythm pattern. The three tracks on the stamped 12"-vinyl which is housed in a gatefold cover were produced by the elusive german producer Don't DJ. Comes with a transcription of a conversation between Florian Meyer (producer) and Wouter Hisschemöller (software-engineer) about the Euclidean rhythm pattern generator, bugs and the future of musical production.

Martijn Deijkers is a man of many facets: The Dutch-born now Washington D.C.- based artist and Panorama Bar resident started DJing in the 90s, producing in the noughties, released on labels such as Ninja Tune, Warp Records or Steffi's DollyDubs amongst many others as well as his own 3024 imprint - always with a unique, distinctive sound, nestled somewhere between 2-step, House, Dubstep and Garage. After having remixed Shed's "Another Wedged Chicken" (2009) and contributed "Miniluv" to Ben Klock's Berghain 04 (2010) we're happy to finally offer a Martyn solo 12" release on Ostgut Ton. Falling For You starts with the almost ten minute-long track of the same title: Opening with a major piano motif and some field recordings from along the road the A-side picks up momentum through its luscious Garage-inspired rhythm, bubbling synth bleeps, organic percussion and more subtle yet stirring piano motifs. Berliners may be familiar with Kreuzberg's 'Kotti' and its converging trains U1 and U8 - let's say it's a fascinating, multiculti yet rough place. The same goes for "U1-U8" on B1: a slightly darker offering with syncopated melody, hihats, claps and sampled shehnai sounds sitting atop the hollow kick. "Ahmadiya" closes this release with a rather pensive-tempered synth, string elements, beguiling piano strokes and a more break-heavy vibe. Winter may be coming by the time of release, but this record has club-meets-afterhour-meets-summer's-day written all over it.

London's DEXT Recordings continue to strengthen their catalogue adding to originals and remixes from Dubspeeka & Visionz, Komon & Appleblim and Bodyjack with their latest offering from the Manchester based Oli Furness backed up by Clone mainstay Alden Tyrell. This, the third release up on DEXT carries the same raw brawn as its predecessors and is a rattling meld of Jungle, UK Techno and House.


Throughout his previous releases on NDV, Morris Audio and his own Music Is Love imprint, Oli Furness has astutely touched many bases whilst drawing for the tape driven kicks, nifty sampling and intricate drum work that have been his calling card since the off. His 'Decisions' EP brings these tools together and opens with the title track that drives a thunderous kick under crunching stabs and a starkly contrasting vocal sample. 'Jungle Book' then sets a hefty break tumbling towards the introduction of a thick, flexing sub and bubbling synth patterns.


Next up, Dutch master Alden Tyrell adds to a catalogue that reaches right back to 1999 and weighs in with a stripped and burly revision of 'Decisions'. Powerful analogue hats are set crashing over a concrete kick and cavernous stabs before 'Let It Go' snowballs behind a classic break that gathers a jagged synth pattern and 90's vocal samples that are sure to send the floor into rapture.

Reissue of SOBOs inaugural release from Patrick Holland (fka Project Pablo), for the first time featuring the live version of the breakout single "Closer". Montreal's Beaubien Ouest can cause quite the daze in the heat of Summer, so stepping out of the bedroom into the shed made all the difference for Holland. Live-off-the- floor takes with pals Rory Seydel (on guitar) and Jeremy Dabrowski (on the bass) can be heard on the title track, whereas freaked-out Dx7 melodies and harmonies makeup Royal Plus and Closer. An homage to ones home and its dreamlike qualities, as well as a practice in call and response.

Eddy Romero & Frink were digging in the rock formations beneath earth's crust and have quarried a track which was forged into the newest Schallbox-Vinyl straight by the pressure of the continental plates!

Schallbox018 is an expedition through a scarcely lit tunnel, down into a mysterious and cryptic underworld. The tracks Pull Fiction and Element unfold a maelstrom that takes us ever deeper down into a dark abyss.

Pull Fiction in M.in's remix version is a percussive club monster that gives over to sparsely flickering lights revealing the way onwards, while the mystical voices in Steve Cole & Ronald Christoph's remix of Element take us back into the daylight again.

Deathday (formerly Deathday Party) is a Los Angeles based Experimental Post-punk band, formed in Santa Ana, California in 2008 by brothers Alex Guillén and Giovanni Guillén.
Previous incarnations of the group can be traced back to Santa Ana's Koo's scene of the late 1990's. While the title-track is an unreleased one, instead "Dropped Into Obscurity" was already included in the Downwards compilation "Click Heels" alongside with Tropic Of Cancer, Silent Servant, The KVB. On the B side Mannequin asked to the synth-master Legowelt to remix After Dark".

Seldom has the post-punk revival seemed as urgent as with Deathday, who match their guitar driven dirges with esoteric industrial soundscapes and tape manipulation. Their music is often as bleak as it is violent, with low end cacophony bludgeoning the listener into submission. Lyrically, Deathday often invoke the violent culture hidden beneath the media, as well as explore the crippling aftershocks of isolation and the mysticism of the occult.

Comparisons, for those who prefer them, could easily be made to the likes of Throbbing Gristle and Suicide's uncompromising attitude and primal infrastructure, but the band has equal roots in forgotten post-punk favorites such as Nagamatzu, Venus In Furs, and Joy of Life, creating a powerful hybrid exploring the darkest and most hypnotic corners of the spectrum.

Known as Deathday Party until 2011, the band's self-titled cassette, released in early 2012, exists as a cold snapshot of their formative material, while both 'After Dark' and 'Dropped Into Obscurity,' released on Mannequin's The End of Civilaztion and Downward's So Click Heels compilations respectively, offer a club-friendly alternative. While neither track compromises the band's dark overtones, these tracks are ripe for the dance floor, having garnered heavy play in LA, New York, and Berlin especially. With a handful of releases on the horizon for 2013, including a split with Bestial Mouths, a vinyl reissue of their self-titled debut, and new material to follow, the future is looking uncharacteristically bright for Deathday.

In March of 2006 the brothers Guillén participated in Glenn Branca's 'Symphony #13 (Hallucination City)' for 100 guitars in Los Angeles.

Hot on the heels of Midland's Placement EP, Aus returns with a remix 12" featuring Lone & Motor City Drum Ensemble. Both producers deliver deep, melodic reinterpretations of the originals, with Lone accentuating Midland's signature sound (whilst flawlessly incorporating his own neon tinged atmospherics) and MCDE dubbing out the original, pushing it into throbbing Raw Cuts territory.

Poker Flat continue their welcome foray into vinyl-only releases - following Kindimmer's fine Wax Substance EP - with four deep morsels from Pavel Iudin (or Paul Yudin, as he's occasionally known in anglophone circles.) Now respected resident at St. Petersburg's Stackenschneider club, Iudin has developed a real feel for deep, dubby dancefloor-oriented tech house. And Waxology is no exception. The title track is a luxurious meditation - layered, thoughtful with subtle builds and shifts. This is precision-engineered deep house, fine-tuned to send you into head-nodding ecstasy. A 'Tokamak' - for those who don't know - is a kind of experimental, Russian doughnut designed to confine plasma for nuclear fusion. In other words, it's futuristic, profound and utterly enveloping - which is exactly what Iudin delivers on this circling, bubbling groove. Meanwhile, the dubby foundation of 'Anchor' is contrasted by echoing chimes, crisp percussion and shimmering timbres that whizz in and out of earshot, while 'Charmel' is deeper still, a booming kick married to a sinuous bassline to fashion a heavy dancefloor stomper.

Ship To Shore is a new record label from record collector and gentleman of the night Craig Richards. The first release is by PBR Streetgang made specifically with Craig in mind, the release also includes a remix by Craig himself.
PBR Streetgang delivery a great EP of wayward hedonistic-house. 'In The Turret' has been causing somewhat of a commotion, of late, on discerning dance-floors. On the flip Craig offers up a drawn out electro break-beat take on 'In The Turret', which is equally as beguiling. The EP also features the deep disco leanings of 'Affordable Excellence' and the psychedelic 'Apocalypse Tool'.

After the sampler gave Dissonant's vinyl lovers a taste of the new Re-UP album, this double-disc release showcases the rest of the tracks that make up this immersive, captivating body of work. It's a creative triumph for label and artist alike, following on from four years of mutual admiration since Re-UP first appeared on the label. The title track 'Nelcorpo' leads in on Side C with its sweeping, mysterious pads swirling around crisp and angular fragments of rhythm, and 'Dark tunnel' brings on a tougher beat to catch the dancers unaware while carefully feeding a haunting soul into the track. 'Each sense' celebrates mental and physical stimulation with its intricate and seriously funky percussion both surprising and delighting at once, before 'Extended' sets out to explore precise, microscopic production detail even as it builds to a spiritual climax. 'Gominola' comes to life on a rousing, romantic swell of orchestration, rich in energy and passion without losing that all-important subtlety in Re-UP's music, while 'Tribute' delves into dub-infused techno of the most captivating kind. 'Aju paraplu' strides forth with urgency, the quick-ticking beat providing a perfect anchor to the subliminal intricacies of the sound design around, and then finally 'Concrethereal' emerges gracefully into a dense and complex arrangement of percussion and melodic chimes that soars away from the dancefloor and into more meditative realms. Balanced perfectly between the cerebral excitement of home-listening electronica and the physical thrill of club-ready house and techno, Re-UP have delivered an album that shows ever more shades to their craft while maintaining their finely honed sonic identity.

Ovum Recordings kicked off the 20th Anniversary with a stunning release from Chymera. After the melodic Chymera, we are taking you back to the darker side of techno with the follow up EP from Steve Parker. Steve Parker's debut Innerstate EP topped the beatport charts and was one of the biggest techno releases of 2011. He has not dissapointed with his Sugar High EP, bringing you a diverse three track EP that will devistate dance floors around the globe. Over the last few years Steve's productions have seem him become a regular in the record boxes of the world's best. Outside of his release on Ovum, his work for labels including Quartz Music, Spark , Synewave and SCI+TEC have established him as one of the most in demand DJ/Producers of his home nation or Portugal. His deep and hypnotic sound, combining groove-heavy rhythms with a minimal-tech production style, sees Steve able to move effortlessly from sultry warm basement sounds to full on vicious arena moments. His follow up three track selection for Ovum Recordings doesn't disappoint. Having been throughly road-tested by Mr Wink, the 'Sugar High' EP provides the perfect example of Parker's talent. Lead cut 'Sugar High' is a moody builder that teases with tension, always teetering on the edge of boiling point. 'System 22 is a more straight ahead gritty and jacking techno workout that twists and turns, but always retains the groove. The final track 'Konduktor' returns the calm with its wonderful warm depth and grooves. Welcome back Mr. Parker!

Moon Harbour is proud to announce the imminent arrival of a new artist album from one of its core members.
Sven Tasnadi's 12 track long player All In will be released in spring 2015 and is a second full length statement
from one of the scene's most consistently on form producers.

Long time deep house and tech producer Sven, who hails from Leipzig, Germany, has been perfecting his own
seductive and atmospheric sound for almost a decade on labels like Cocoon, Smallville, Cargo Edition and of
course Moon Harbour. This album is his second after an electronica effort called Slow that featured more non
dance floor focussed tracks.

After my last album I wanted to make one for the dance floor,' says Sven. I had the idea only to produce pieces
that fit into my sets. I do not just like peak time, but also warm up beats, so I really wanted quieter pieces that you
can play at the appropriate time and that aren't too demanding. Hence the name All In... it is great for any time
and situation.'

The album is a cross-section of Sven's work from the last eight years style-wise, even though it was written in the
last six months using an Electron Octatrack, NI Maschine and Ableton. Things open up in deep and smoky dub
house fashion with 'Until The End' and then slowly build through the kinetic rubbery kicks of 'Silent Floors', the
bendy synths and curious melodies of 'No Laws' and the lazy, low-slung and lo-fi house funk of 'Sleeping Dogs.'
Cuts like 'Keep Rolling' with their rattling percussion and jazzy chords feel both musical but groove driven, 'I Like
You' proves Sven has a sample friendly playful side and then 'Clocks' gets a little more pumped up and bouncy
as the mid point arrives.

Wisely varying textures and tempos as he goes, 'Eighteen' then gets dark and deep, 'The Holy Grail' explores
more minimal sound design, 'This Girl' speaks of a classic house influence with its cleverly filtered vocals and oh
so nimble bass, then 'Rest' gets all spooky and syrupy with it ghostly coos and slithering rhythms. Closing down
the journeyed LP in style is the mystical and infectious 'Cosmic Flight' with its feathery drums and off kilter
melodies.

All in all this album is a complete and perfectly realised world that lays out Sven's trademark sounds in all their
glory. Deep and meaningful, danceable but equally as good just to listen to, All In is another fine success for both
artist and label.

This record was written with the intention of conveying classic aspects of house music. Track names such as Paradise Garage', The Warehouse' and Zanzibar Club' come from monumental clubs that helped shape the history of House. It's true roots in Chicago (The Warehouse), to New York City (Paradise Garage) and New Jersey (Zanzibar Club). Label head Geddes' releases his first full ep on nofitstate with Suzie Boo's dark room presence headlining proceedings, German collective 'Snuff Crew' step up on remix duties, injecting a grimier sensibility on their take whilst flip sides Baby continues the darker theme, this time with an acidic tinge which Alexkid locks onto in his remix which rounds off the release, making the 303 the theme of the track with Josh Caffe's vocal refrain adding a hypnotic bent.

da Engberg describes 'Collage' like so, 'Not many things in life beat the true experience of the perfect party. That definitive moment when location, music and people all come together in the same place to create that perfect shared experience. It's about that vibe that can only exist when all those components work together in perfect harmony. For me, dj'ing is exactly the same, trying to re-create that experience time and again. Similarly, this compilation is all about that - bringing interesting elements together. I have invited producers that envoke that magic within me. They have all touched my soul. Great music is just like happiness, its only real when shared.'

Lovers Rock Recordings celebrates its tenth release with another lush compilation featuring tracks by three core members of the LR family and newcomer Gunnar Haslam. Opener Vacation' by Ital sees the label boss crafting a supple DJ weapon out of a lysergic sonic ecosystem. The rapidly-maturing DJ Wey returns to the fold under his DJ Python alias with Amazonia,' an ambient bomb that allows a deceptively simple hook to lilt across a thumping reggaeton rhythm.
