The Kestrel (Turmfalke) will rise in Spring 2015, starting the new label by Matthias Springer with focus on physical media. The philosophy behind is to invite friends to this special cross-over concept. Every artist presents an original in combination with remixing eachother. In the end 4 tracks on one release, no special genre is preset, everything can happen. Frank Hellmond is the special guest on the first Turmfalke release, bringing in his unique deephouse flavour that features some pretty nice vocals from Snowflake, while Matthias is turning it into a combination of dub and acid ... but just have a listen.

To protect the digital integrity all tracks will be re-released for online-media about 5 - 6 months after the physical release. Beside we decided that there is no need for "cool" looking coloured vinyl, so we will keep it black and heavy weight with 180g of pure electronic music!

Paride Saraceni's debut Truesoul release, Burning, brings us three uplifting and vocal-heavy tech house tracks.
A steady groove throughout, Saraceni's choice of instrumentation and flowing percussion create a melodic yet techy release with all three tracks laced with a solid kick drum, tinkering high hats and sporadic vocals. Burning is the perfect offering for the new year and proves there are big things on the horizon for Saraceni.

Stefan Goldmann's very first release from 2001, thoroughly remastered. Long out of print, this has been extremely sought after classic vinyl. In their day, these tracks (together with Missing Days / That Ghost) created the prototype of today's stripped down house sound. Especially 'Gee Baby' has recently been rediscovered and became a signature tune of Ibiza's DC10 / Circo Loco with DJs like Raresh and Matthias Tanzmann - which made it swap back to its native Berlin and its legendary eternal afterhours. The A side's 'Closing In' with its broken funk predated a lot of convergence happening now between house and bass music. And last but not least, Stefan Goldmann provides a brand new, ultra-stripped down EDIT of the mesmerizing 'Read That Lips.' Essential all the way. Remastered by D+M's Rashad from the original DAT source and cut to premium vinyl, they are finally available again in unprecedented quality.

After the success of All In, Sven Tasnadi's latest album on Moon Harbour, the label is now
delighted to offer up a selection of remixes from it. Those enlisted to add their take on the fine
originals are the internationally acclaimed talents of Nick Curly, Map.Ache, KaiserDisco, Simon
Baker and Cristian Viviano.

Up first is 8Bit label boss and Trust man Nick Curly. The Mannheim producer has long been a
tastemaker when it comes to tech house and his effort here is a fine one. His take on 'This Girl'
flips the track into a deep and loopy number with sunny pads, cosmic melodies and non stop
beats that will keep people moving for days.

Map.ache (a founder of the KANN label in Leipzig) then goes all dubbed out with his excellently
watery, rolling remix of 'Until The End.' It's a moody, heads down and thoroughly underground
track for intimate backrooms that has airy hi hats and a muffled vocal phrase lulling you into a
trance.

The prolific Hamburg based duo of Kaiserdisco (associates of labels like Drumcode and My
Best Friend) then turn 'No Laws' into a perfectly roughshod house shuffler with undulating
drums that really get under your skin. The percussion is subtle, there are all manner of soft
shakers and distant synths that really add to the overall effect, and the result is truly fist
pumping.

UK star Simon Baker, of labels like Last Night on Earth and 2020 Vision, then goes hard with h
thumping, drum led version of 'Rest.' A robust bassline also adds weight to his groove and
some spangled synth patterns ensure this one will really set the 'floor alight at peak time.

Lastly, Italian Beatport remix competition winner Cristian Viviano comes correct on his full
blooded, barrel chested remix with its physical drums, skipping percussion and cutting hi hats.
This one bobbles along at a fair pace and is sure to sweep up dance floors as it rolls along
unstoppably.

Each one of these remixes breaths fresh new life into the originals and adds a personal spin on
things. They all make for fine listening and are sure to make their way into plenty of top DJ
record bags this summer.

'Lose It' is introduced by stark claps and disorienting genie noises on a front to back beat, before evolving into a sly six-minute house mongrel. 'Wrong Move' puts together elements of break beat, dub and mutant bass to lure the listener into a vaporous electronic dystopia.

'In the first of a series to showcase forthcoming releases, this Product London vinyl sampler features two techno remixes, one from man of the moment Traumer, along with Catherin and one from techno stalwart G.Pal. A self-proclaimed lover of irreverent and profane music, rising Spanish producer Carreno is LB takes the helm on the 33rd offering from Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant label, with a remix from returning artist Andre Bratten.

Since supplying the label with the Anxiety and Neurosis EP in 2013, Carreno is LB has collected production credits in partnership with fellow Madrid-based label affiliate Javi Redondo, and as a remixer for outlets such as My Favorite Robot. (This December also heralds the release of a collaborative album with NYMA, due to drop via German imprint Items & Things.) Arriving in both 12" vinyl and digital formats on January 19, the Disharmony EP finds him channeling a vampyric sensibility, pairing dark though dancefloor-ready originals with more conceptual, angular interludes.

Carreno is LB opens the seven-track affair with "Step 0," a brief prelude steeped in eerie atmospheres. "Step 1" and "Step 2" elevate tempos with jacking rhythms and metallic, planar shifts, while the industrial, atonal sound design and broken, percussive techno of "Step 3" dismantles itself. "Step 4" warms up like a b-grade horror film but turns into the housiest track on offer, with a cheeky Italo-influenced bassline and taut, drum machine rhythms, offset by sliding, pitch-bent organ chords.

Norwegian producer and Full Pupp affiliate Andre Bratten returns to Correspondant following an outing on the label's second V/A compilation; his "Trommer Og Bass" swiftly became an anthem of summer 2014, played out by Agoria, DJ Harvey, and Laurent Garnier, and also featured on Errol Alkan's recent Fabric mix. While the original version of "Step 5" stands as more sketch or shadow, cutting out at a crucial moment, Bratten's "Half Life 2 Gravity Tool" remix yields an emphatic, dancefloor-ready adaptation.

Following a superb debut from DJ W!ld, Cologne's Klangkultur Schallplatten delivers another weighty 12" - '10
Miles From Lima' by Darius Syrossian. Syrossian's pedigree is not to be sniffed at. A record shop veteran (at
Leeds' legendary Crash records, amongst others), the producer/DJ knows house music inside and out. Much like
other record store trained DJs, Syrossian has gone on to develop a formidable reputation behind the decks and
desks with countless releases, an enviable gig diary, his Breakout Audio label and a radio show (VIVa) serving as
outlets for his passion. Comprising two tracks of house music which balances pin sharp production with forward
thinking musical content, '10 Miles From Lima' sees Darius in fine form. The title track is muscular affair, with a
thunderous skipping kick punching through the mix from the get-go. Angry synths and bulbous bass stabs
steadily add to the body of throughout while subtle string builds and shimmering synth leads flatter the moodier
elements. B-Side, 'Return of The Favela People', treads a lighter path in terms of mood but continues to throw
some production weight down. Betraying Syrossian's near-pathalogical love of classic house tropes, 'Return of
The Favela People' a track that evokes DJ Sneak, Kerri Chandler, Cajual, Henry Street and countless other
luminaries while providing a respectful, modern spin. Unafraid of rousing house music that is crafted purely for
the purpose of losing yourself on the dancefloor, Syrossian is a producer doing things just as he wants and if '10
Miles of Lima' is anything to go on, that's no bad thing

The cultured Opliec Music label is to release a special album by The Stupid Set & Snowblitz D.J with all tracks edited and updated by label boss I-Robots. This is a special project to celebrate Record Store Day 2015.

Psychodisco is the soundtrack of an ambitious multimedia project by The Stupid Set (aka Italian talents Giampietro Huber, Paul Bazzani, Umberto Lazzari and Giorgio Lavagna) recorded back in 1982 using various Korgs, Moogs and a Roland 808 drum machine, a Teac 4-track recorder, a small analog mixer, and ready-made magnetic tapes. Because the band eventually disbanded no label every full released this soundtrack but now Opilec do so with pride.

Label boss I-Robots carefully edits every one of the original tracks from The Stupid Set & Snowblitz DJ. Up first is the DIY, afro sounding 'Yam Kaz' with its innocent xylophones and melodies, plunging basslines and cosmic radiance. 'Chak' is then a more beat driven cut with lots of textured synth lines and funky riffs.

'Hun Batz' is a more experimental sounding cut with lots of layers of synths, keys, jumbled percussion and off time chords. 'Ixchel' is a moody bit of downbeat ambiance with a dark undercurrent and 'Hunahpu' is a lazy, live sounding fusion of horns and drums, hi hats and guitars that is truly captivating.

'Ah Pook' then explores dark wave sounds, deconstructed disco and weird vocal samples as well as steel drum patterns and hiccupping grooves. 'Itzamma' again gets all experimental with wintry ambiance and lazy drums making for a unsettled atmosphere before the freewheeling 'End Titles' get all funked up and urgent: the trilling keys, bright synthesisers and tooting wind instruments all make it a fun, charming and colourful way to close out the package.

As well as all these great individual cuts, the full and original live suite of 'Psychodisco' is included in all its magnificent 33-minute glory on the CD version of this release, and a 20 page booklet insert comes with both format releases. It includes never before seen pictures and images from the Italian post punk synth scene in Bologna.

The artwork for this release is provided by talented Japanese artist Tamami Saito, who has worked alongside the label before now and continues to provide unique covers for Opilec's releases.

Alongside the album release will be a very special Flavio Vecchi remix package. Overall, then, this is another masterfully curated project from the Opliec Music label.

for techno luminary JOHN TEJADA, one of the most respected producers in the US, it's the result of an all-consuming passion for electronic music spanning two decades. Returning to Kompakt after last year's stunning solo album SIGNS UNDER TEST (KOMPAKT 321 CD 119) - already his third full-length with the label -, the LA-based artist presents his latest concoction LAKEWOOD DRIVE. It's a sturdy, spirited EP showcasing Tejada's admired brand of energetic, melodic minimalism, packed to the brim with three expertly crafted cuts confidently commanding dance floors. His predilection for sophisticated, playful bangers is very much intact, making this another hugely successful foray into the realm of hot-wired synth machinery and glistening beats.

Mculo's latest asks you to do a double take. In the second release for his homegrown Roots by the Oder imprint, I Caught a Glance, a first listen to the EP's A-side introduces a dancefloor-centric house number punctuated by the loop of a somehow
ceremonious melodic riff.
Listen again and it lures you in with hypnotic atmospheres and valleys of endless synth.
The B-side gets deeper still, wasting no time in putting forth stronger basslines and traces of growling lows.

Following on from Wax Stag's acclaimed 2015 album II*, Old Habits return with a new split 12" featuring 5 tracks from some of the finest underground electronic talent Melbourne has to offer.


Side A features 3 tracks from Travancore, consisting of Andy Donnelly, Leo Fieldgrass & Ed Coogan, who together perform live improvised electronic jams using only analogue hardware. These tracks were recorded during a session 2014 and finally see the light of day on vinyl after a tape only release on DIY label Hidden Waves. The opener DCF evokes memories of classic era Mr Fingers, while Morely Mans takes things in a more abrasive direction before finishing with Obsolete, more of a straight up techno banger, albeit more Late Junction than Essential Mix.


All three members have been putting out music under various guises stretching back 15+ years, perhaps most notably Red Bull Music Academy recruit Andy Donnelly who, under his Kloke alias, has released music on labels such as Styles Upon Styles, Sub Squared and Entrada.


Flip for 2 tracks by Rings Around Saturn aka Rory McPike, where the vibe descends deep into immersive soundscapes and calming ambient electronics. With a host of releases under his belt across various aliases including Dan White (FACT Mag Australian artists to watch in 2015) and 2200 on labels including Butter Sessions, Analogue Attic, Cult Trip, Forbidden Planet, Brokntoys, Normals Welcome and his own Rhythm Works imprint, 2016 is shaping up to be a breakthrough year for Rory.

Returning to Houndstooth a year since the release of his One Sound / Layer Lock EP is Second Storey. After spending most of 2015 focussing on his collaboration with Laurence Osbourne - Second Storey & Appleblim present ALSO - over at R&S Records, Alec Storey came back into the fold as part of the Houndstooth 3rd anniversary compilation earlier this year. Now he returns to the label in full with a gleaming new EP, Bismuth.Initialising the release, title track Bismuth takes inspiration from a documentary on the visually impressive metal. Affected by its angular, complex 3D elements and fluid like structures the music itself mirrors the element's appearance deploying the intricate precision of IDM creating its own multiplex of textures.Created directly after moving into his new studio, second track Vapor Valve is the product of Storey feeling invigorated by his fresh set up. Melodic poly rhythms and chord structures define the track from the outset which work neatly with Storey's trademark tight percussion, which sits in that golden spot between bass and electro.
Bringing the tempo up a couple of notches, Grand Rapid lives up to its title. Urgent in nature, it reflects the environment it was created in - crafted on a laptop while speeding through the countryside on a train. Propelled by its ever-present bassline groove, percussive elements speed and whir by in this pacey venture.Finally, Helicat completes the EP, built around the interplay between the main riff and synth percussion elements; from the outset bit-crushed bass drops and pommels out an electro-esque off beat rhythm while the synth line gives its circling answer. Those looking for deeper meaning to the title Helicat can tune into the bubbling sound that rises up midway, which Storey imaginatively describes as "a cat with helicopter wings on its head, taking off." Second Storey - Bismuth EP is out on 29th July on Houndstooth and will be available in both coloured vinyl and digital formats, vinyl limited to 300 for the world.

With the "Clock EP" Burnt Friedman and Daniel Dodd-Ellis offer two brand-new, pared-down extended club tracks and two short word and sound-poems that place "microscopically detailed textures, deceptively funky-sounding odd meters, and dubby production techniques". All four tracks are exclusive to this vinyl edition!

In Musik und Text verschmelzen über alle 11 Titel hindurch Stimmungen, Eindrücke der Sub-Sahara Konzert-Tour von B.Friedmann 2013 und Fetzen von Erinnerungen an eine imaginierte Zukunft. Sie reagieren auf reale "Kpafuca" - "things falling apart" - Zustände afrikanischer Metropolen und kollabieren zu Grooves und Phrasen, die an Chris Marker´s Science-Fiction-Apokalyptik ( "La Jette"/ "Sans Soleil" ) erinnern. In dieser Polyphonie der Un-Orte schwingt auch der Geist reisender Klangabenteurer, zB. der musikethnologischen Praktiker Hartmut Geerken und Roman Bunka (Embryo), deren Visionen und Musik-Wirken sich gegen reduktionistische, essentialistische Inszenierungen sträubt. Gegen jene kulturellen Landkarten, die in die Musik immer wieder zwanghaft hineingezeichnet werden, setzt Friedman auf "Cease To Matter" im intuitiven Modus die befreiende Kraft des Rauschens, der Über-Mensch-Maschinen-Musik, der krummen Beats und des technischen Zufalls-Defekts, kurz: das "Un-gehör-sam" (Johannes Ismaiel-Wendt) gegenüber der normativen Deutungshoheit musikalischer Weltkarten.

Die Stimme des aus Texas stammenden in Berlin lebenden Performers und Vokalisten Daniel Dodd-Ellis wirkte bereits 2007 auf Burnt Friedman´s Album "First Night Forever" (non22). Die Lyrics stammen von beiden Autoren und wurden von Friedmann während der Produktionsvorgänge 2013 bis 2014 mehrfach zerlegt und neu zusammengesetzt. Die Zeile "Sky Is Blue Inside Of You" ist dem 1932 erschienenen Roman "Brave New World" von Aldous Huxley entnommen. Tracks 04 und 09 ("Cease To Matter") enthalten ein Piano Sample Edit basierend auf einer Komposition von Georges Invanovich Gurdjieff (1872-1949).

After on-going success showcasing events in the capital with heavyweights including Surgeon, Lucy, Xhin, Ryan Elliott & Peter Van Hoesen, London based techno imprint Weekend Circuit returns with another of the cities rising stars.

Dax J takes centre stage for the first vinyl release on the label, and doesn't fail on producing one of his most versatile pieces of work to date following on from his latest 12' on Monnom Black. 'La Haine' EP brings the heat with three tracks filled with atmospheric stabs, dark droning synths and hypnotic drum sequences throughout. Argentinian talent Jonas Kopp, better known for his releases on Ostgut Ton, Electric Deluxe & Stroboscopic Artefacts has been brought in to lead the line and delivers a raw & memorable take of 'La Haine'.

Following acclaimed releases by Jeremiah R and HVL, Organic Analogue is proud to present an extensive new release from a true underground hero of UK electronic music, DJ Guy.

For this latest exploration of Guy's music, Team O/A were keen to represent the full spectrum of his sounds, both stylistically and chronologically, across two different formats as a nod to the decades he has spent immersed in music. Recent releases have focused solely on tracks Guy recorded in the 90s, so they wanted to devote the vinyl part of the release to some of his newer productions.
The tracks on the Structures 12" prove that the same spellbinding atmosphere, swooning melodic content and crafty arrangement flex is as present in Guy's contemporary work as it is in his earliest tape rips. Elements of Drexciyan electro and UK ambient techno can be felt throughout, but they're delivered with an equal dose of ingenuity that is all his own.
As well as his plentiful techno output, Guy equally turned his hand to some crucial experimental jungle over the years. Rhythms 94/99 harks back to the era of Black Secret Technology, Plug and Depth Charge, all phased, diced up amens and dreamy pads that form a link to Guy's 4/4 work while once more demonstrating how on point his productions were at such a seminal time. The tape they have put together contains ten tracks recorded by Guy between 1994 and 1999 as well as an additional remix by White Peak that draws upon all the tracks for source material.
In addition, they wanted to document and explore the fascinating story behind Guy's music in more detail, and so produced an A5 book that features an interview and track notes alongside old flyers and studio photos from the earliest days of Guy's life in music.

"We hope that in some way this serves to document the tireless work of an immensely talented artist who has never created for anything but the most honest of intentions. Even if his incredible productions should have been more widely enjoyed back in the day, at least they're getting the recognition they deserve now."

DJ Python is arguably NYC's first Deep-Reggaeton artist. The record starts on the Dembow, tricks you into thinking you actually got the deepest-of-the-deep house record on the flip, and quickly snaps back to the rhythm on the last track. DJ Python says This will be a huge Open-Air record.'

After a considerable hiatus from releasing music, eliphino makes a triumphant return with 4 tracks of deep, emotive and soulful music that provide a unique journey through various styles and moods that should be familiar to anyone that has followed his output thus far. Made during a period of deep self reflection whilst taking a year break from London in Berlin, the results are at times sombre but always engaging and forward facing.

This EP marks the first release on Joy in Repetition, a new label and labour of love from eliphino and Andy Lemay (Head of Press and Partnerships for Dimensions Festival). The aim of the label is to concentrate on any kind of soulful electronic music that inspires the pair thus avoiding the liner restrictions that often come with a strict attachment to one specific genre.
'Isabella Road', which featured in Jackmaster's DJ Kicks mix earlier in the July, kicks things off with dreamy yet foreboding synth lines sitting on top of organic yet heavyweight drums leading to a wall shaking crescendo that would resonate with any discerning dancefloor.
'Piano Day' and 'April' are both rich in of kilter sonic ideas and intriguing drum programming. References to jungle and broken drum patterns juxtaposed with cinematic melodies mean these tracks would both keep the attention of the listener at home or fit perfectly into a more adventurous DJ set. The EP is rounded off with 'Linklater', a lush piece of house music with crispy drums and solemn, soulful strings.
