Party music: Musashi's rich and warm vocal cuts through the Moog inspired riff that starts out smooth then gets quirky in moments... Minimal New Jersey'esque drums n' sub drive the groove. The fun that was had producing this song is palatable n' makes for an easy one to get into.

Jackin' Chitown beats are met with a Rhodes riff that sounds like wind chimes dancing. Deep Oberheim bass and uplifting synth arpeggiator lead into a beautiful vocal about being lost on a dancefloor. Clever drum programming and effects keep the smiles big on the dancefloor.

A Murk-inspired vocal track that will turn-on with just the right amount of glitch in the drums and just the right amount of acid in the Kool-aid to slip this heater into all sorts of proper DJ sets.

Ben Long from UK techno mainstays, Space DJz, with a new solo EP entitled 'Toltec' featuring remixs from the Detroit Grand Pubahs & Darko Esser (aka Tripeo) 'Toltec' sees Ben stepping away from the blistering techno of Space DJz, to a more minimal approach that's thoughtful and melodic, as it builds from its soaring intro into a raw and grinding groove.

RAW ROOTZ returns with its fourth release. Its been a hell of a ride already for the vinyl imprint, having seen
003 from Jorge Savoretti and 001 & 002 from Raw Rootz (Scan Mode & Alvaro Sanchez) pick up an
overwhelming stream of support from friends and respected peers.
So to 004 the label welcomes Diego Gonzalez, aka Papol. Having spent much of the late nineties and early
noughties wearing his promoter hat, it was a hook up with fellow promoter Kasper that rst lead to the path of
production. Since his debut release in 2006 - a collaboration with Kasper on Igloo - Diego has gone on to release
music on Ilian Tape, Lessizmore, Savor Music and, very much his home label, Esperanza.

Today, under his Papol guise, he makes his RAW ROOTZ debut with two tough, rough and more than ready
originals in the form of the hypnotic 'Exedra' and the popping synth-driven gem 'Rdl'. For the remixes, the label
call on friend and Savor Music boss Franco Cinelli, who adds his own powerful synth line to Exedra, before Raw
Rootz themselves go to work on Rdl.

Sean Dixon returns after appearances on the Clone Store Only Series and his own Final Chapter. The A-side is filled with two versions of the sample heavy house tune I Can't Stand The Rain. On the B-side Stockholm based Sean delivers his warm tribute to the classic My House. Vinyl only.

His sound has changed since, but it seems like he's not immune to some nostalgia. Electro nostalgia to be exact.

Zimbru's second release is the new collaborative effort from Kozo and Dan Andrei, hiding their musical personalities in the AK41 codename. And it's their edgy approach on minimal techno that has shaped into this record: taking time to expand into Thriatlon's multidimensional sample universe, exploring the dubbier alien planes of techno through Cuttin Ice or pushing us deep into some uncharted groove territories with Cox Terrier's perky bassline.

New York house legend David Morales arrives on Radio Slave's Rekids for a vinyl only release.Homage to his formative years at the influential club of the same name, Morales' Red Zone Project is the moniker which the Def Mix veteran produced many of his seminal remixes under, from the Thompson Twins to Shawn Christopher, Clive Griffin to Overweight Pooch and Propaganda to the Pet Shop Boys. Rekindling the pseudonym for a vinyl only appearance on Matt Edwards' renowned imprint, the release initiates with a robust dancefloor workout titled 'Don't Go' that's laced with heady melodies and energetic hats. Meanwhile, 'Tribal Funk' is a more rhythmic cut featuring thudding drums, deep chords and compelling vocal samples.

Dutch contingent 'Dilated Pupils' provide the beats for the next double pack on FOF's vinyl only offshoot label. Part 2 of 2

Discozma is an Austrian electronic duo consisting of Alois Huber (Electronics, Sounds, Sonic Spirits) and Didi Neidhart (Beats, Sounds, Sonic Effects) with a deep passion for disco, house, dub and space. But most of all they (together with the mixingdesk wizard FALM) love to transform those styles into something else. So disco is just their launch pad to explore other regions. On the other hand we have Ozma, or as they say, Princess Ozma, the rightful ruler of Oz, the land over the rainbow who gave also name to the legendary "Project Ozma" a pioneering 1960s SETI experiment to explore alien life forms in outta space. But their 4-Track 12" is not only about outta space. "Uppsala Jaguar" comes as a modern re-enactment of a drunken Michel Foucault speeding up his car (a jaguar) in 1955 thru the city of Uppsala/Sweden. "Lavender Island (Disco Montez)" is an incredibly strange sonic trip to an enchanted island with exotic life forms, dedicated to Princess Ozma, Jack Smith, Mario Montez and Thee Deep Ones. More party goes on with "Under Green Wigs" where kinky rhythm machines in drag going wild at a fancy ball at the house of Jacques Lacan who wears one of his favourite green wigs. And with "Space Jaguar (FALM Remix)" we'll meet again with Foucault. But this time (with vocals contributed by the famous Austrian painter Elke Silvia Krystufek) our Uppsala Jaguar is heading outta space after tripping on LSD at the Death Valley in 1975. So if you want philosophy you can dance to - DISCOZMA is the right choice for you!

Highway Records presents the long-awaited vinyl release by Gorje Hewek & Izhevski — Russian duo, known for their releases on such labels as Pro-Tez, Cyclic and Phonique's Ladies And Gentlemen. New Jersey's finest returns to Ovum with the much anticipated follow up to his hugely successful and widely supported 2014 'Get Deep' EP, a release that saw Harry return to his roots and deliver, with the title track, a true festival and Ibiza House anthem. Aquarium and What What, the latest double-header from Romero, seeks to carry on from where his previous Ovum outing left off... With its echoing sax and signature snappy percussion, Aquarium leads the release with its wonderful balaeric mood and flavour. Whilst on the flip, What What taps into his techier trade, as Harry twists and tweaks in a full on dark room frenzy, evoking memories of classic his Sondos moments.

Hotflush Recordings is delighted to announce the arrival of a second full length from Sepalcure, the American duo made up of Travis Machinedrum' Stewart and Praveen Braille' Sharma. Arriving four and a half years since their acclaimed debut, 11 track album Folding Time is a singular and tender statement that lands in May 2016.

This special coming together of distinctive musical minds produced a much-loved, self-titled debut LP in 2011, plus six EPs between 2010 and 2013, all of which suggested a penchant for broken beats and bright melodics. Both have since furthered their accomplished solo careers - Braille released his debut solo album Mute Swan, while Machinedrum's experimental exploration of Vapor City landed on Ninja Tune - that have kept them busy in the studio as well as on the road. As such, and owing to their insistence that any production work had to be done in person "since that results in a certain sound and experience you just can't recreate remotely', the new record took some time to come together.

The album, written over many bottles of whiskey, is made up of brand new music, but also tracks that have been worked on, forgotten, then revived over many years. Its title comes from the fact that, it felt like we were connecting the present with the past.

Going through each session was like digging through old memories.' Stylistically, of course, this pair have very different musical DNAs, but that means studio work cooks up many surprises along they way and results in an album that is awash with everything from field recordings to guitars and electric piano. It is a mix of playing and programming, has many multilayered tracks full of intimate and personal easter eggs and is, essentially, two homies hanging out and having fun, a meeting of our minds.'

Right from the distant vocal mutters and blissful guitar licks of opener 'Fight For Us' featuring Rochelle Jordan there is an seductive r&b sensibility to proceedings. Tumbling drums and pained vocals have you in a love locked free-fall before 'Not Gonna Make It' gets to the point with Sepulcure's trademark stuttering drums and fractured vox. 'Devil Inside,' featuring the pair's long time friend and collaborator Angelica Bess, is future pop from a perfect world, 'No Honey' strips things back to a harmonic headspace of bumpy rubber kicks and percolating jungle percussion, then 'Been So True' shows a playful side, lovable sense of sampling and broken reggae rhythm. The second half of the album explores direct dance floor grooves on 'Hearts in Danger', snaking synths and reverb rich beats on 'Loosen Up' and deeper, more introspective moments on tracks like 'Dub Of' and 'Brother Forest' before closing down with a brace of blissfully melodic and dreamy excursions to a beach during sun down.

With plenty of well-paced peaks and troughs along the way, as well as a underlying sense of humour and a very real human warmth, this is an album that works on both head and heel in equal measure.

Shit Robot wartet auf seinem dritten Longplayer mit illustren Gästen wir Alexis Taylor und Nancy Whang auf! Markus Lambkin aka Shit Robot präsentiert mit "What Follows" sein neues Album, das am 06.05.2016 via DFA erscheinen wird. Die Anfänge des neuen Werks finden sich einmal mehr in Stuttgart, wo Lambkin lebt. Zusammen mit DFA-Kollege Juan Maclean wurde das Material dann in New Hampshire gemixt. Generell wurde das Album durch viele neue technische Einflüsse und Experimente geprägt, neben Hot Chips' Alexis Taylor befinden sich auch Kollaborationen mit Nancy Whang, Museum Of Love, New Jackson und Jay Green auf "What Follows".

A1 Nubian Mindz - Deep In Raves:
Well known for his versatile and rich production, Colin delivers once more. With a quite suitable name - Deep In Raves is just that. A deep plunge into dark and rave-like atmosphere. After a short intro layered with an ominous voice, massive bassline takes over and drives the track through the darkest curves. Enriched with short percussions and a synth stab this is quite a stomper best experienced on a good club soundsystem, preferably in the dark. A2 Volster - Nebula:
Almost obsessed with audio purity, Volster manages to combine new and modern sounds with old-school genre roots. Nebula is all about complexity. Although it is based on an electro foundations, it's so much more. Space filled with an oscillatory synth motion perplexed with smooth pads that gives the impression of an interstellar properties. No detail is left unengaged, from the 808 that keeps everything in motion to the subtle amount of panning. This is a beautifully crafted story by a producer who is slowly but steadily growing into one of the best Croatian artists.
B1 Lucretio - Dracula:
The most famed beard of Cadoneghe/Italy has pulled another magic gem from his music source. Widely known for his relentless tendency to push the analogue spectrum to it's extreme, Lucretio surprises once more with his ability to blend simple pieces into an effective sub storm with almost comic like features. Dracula is not your conventional tune and it's pretty obvious why as soon as you put the needle on. Broke down rhythm is heavily fueled by polished but enormous sub background with sparse and ¥in your face¥ shots. Seemingly random notes take a gloomy and powerful form during the break and soon the lurky atmosphere comes into picture. This is truly brilliance in it's full simplicity. If only Bram Stoker could hear this, he would probably be both stunned and amused! B2 James Booth - Jxst Do It:
One of our goals on Vakum is to be on a lookout for a new and promising talents. Berlin based James Booth surely fits the bill. Jxst Do It is a seriously crafted track with rich rhythmic section wrapped in a steady build up. After the initial break-beat intro sliced in short chunks, subtle 303 bassline takes over and the rhythmic game begins. Booth delivers a perfectly timed cuts accompanied by a diverse palette of percussions. This is a perfect piece for those build up moments in the club..

Adding to his extensive and diverse catalog, Alexi Delano delivers his first release for Spectral Sound. My Busted SH-101 is an ode to the beloved and portable synthesizer made by Roland in the early 80s, not long before Delano started DJing. As a producer, he's earned a reputation for being a bit of a machine himself, churning out records on a wide variety of labels over the last 20 years. He holds his own in house music under his A.D.N.Y. moniker, but it's with tracks such as this one that show off his love for dark, weird techno that sits comfortably alongside Spectral's finest.

'My Busted SH-101' flutters and pulsates wildly throughout, with a heavy bass kick driving from the start. The sonic rabbit hole soon opens up to crackling, crunching melodies - Delano pitching up and down, making the synth sing in his own experimental fashion. The b-side remix is also a gem, provided by Alexi's long-time friend and occasional production partner Jesper Dahlbäck. Going by his revered alias The Persuader, Jesper's interpretation adds beautiful, sweeping dub echoes and pushes the lower end to the front, creating a strong dancefloor vibe with warmth and attitude.

The Torontonian quartet, consisting of producer/musicians Dinamo Azari and Alixander III with vocalists Fritz Helder and Starving Yet Full, have crafted a distinctive sound that references the best of dance music's past with a firm vision of it's future. With 'Manic', Azari & III mix slick modern production with retro vibes, and incredibly catchy vocal hooks with dark lyrics, striking a balance that has earned them critical acclaim and a cult following

After releasing « Mystic EP » in 2013 Eduardo De La Calle came back on Badance Records to release his first LP. This LP
is composed by eight tracks that introduce you to « The Intellinet Prophecy ». Be prepared to dive into the Eduardo's retro
futuristic deep waters, from the first to the last beat.

Drone is very proud to announce its fourth release, this time from rhythm originator and founder of Factory Floor Gabe Gurnsey, who bangs out his debut solo single 'Falling Phase'. This track is an eight minute aural patrol of sheer analogue pulse and rhythm, flooded with Gurnsey's drum computer bank, Nik Void's ethereal vocal splices, and a electrifying bass line.
Gurnsey explores "humanizing machines and electronics" within his very own contorted dance template, taking the dance floor out of its four walls and reinstalling it somewhere along the pacific coast highway. This record travels.
On the b-side Gurnsey drops 'Partaloa', a killer synth funk workout built with his signature rhythms.

Hot on the heels of Moscoman's DARK HORSE EP, I'm A Cliché's latest release features Indonesia's best kept secret, the talented JONATHAN KUSUMA on the GONG 3000 EP where tracks ranging from the heavenly to the downright gritty showcase the full range of the producers' abilities. 
THE GRAND SEARCH
An endless vertical ascension fuelled by an exhilarating groove and sounds both precious and grandiose from piano stabs to dreamy synths. As majestic as it is ecstatic, THE GRAND SEARCH is about taking the dancefloor all the way up to the heavens.

GONG 3000
Built around the massive sound of a synthetic gong, KUSUMA dramatically changes moods on this track. With a grumbling bassline, ricochet drums and an irresistible syncopated cowbell, there is a dark, frenzied and utterly danceable quality to GONG 3000. If there is such a thing as East Asian EBM, this track is totally canonical.

STREET SIREN
A devastating peak time weapon where KUSUMA uses siren sounds, a ruthless rhythm section, intoxicating synths, samples and effects to create a colossal track. Rife with moments of tense build-up and climatic release this is a track that is guaranteed to shatter dancefloors. Urban grit has never sounded so classy.

STREET SIREN (KARAMIKA REMIX)
Karamika is a duo formed by Black Merlin aka George Thompson and Gordon Pohl from Music Cargo. They take the darkest elements from the original track and transform it into a broodin track with a definite industrial feel which will boggle minds, melt faces and last but not least set bodies in motion.

From Hippie Dance to Optimo. Late night floor fillers full of tension and swooping, spine tingling vocals.
It has been all quiet on the Optimo Music front recently while energy has been devoted to the launch of Optimo Trax but do not fear, there are a plethora of scintillating releases in the pipeline for 2014.

First up is a stormtrooper of an EP from The Twins. We first met this duo when they were residing in Glasgow and our paths then continued to cross in various European capital cities. A mutual appreciation was born and out of that came the suggestion that The Twins might make a record for Optimo Music. The resulting three tracks far exceeded our wildest expectations and we are incredibly proud to be presenting this Twins magnum opus to the world. Haunting, forceful, transcendent music with spine tingling vocals this EP has perhaps a tad more dancefloor capability than many Optimo Music releases but is also a record equally capable of giving your ears a lot of loving at home.

It was hard to pick one track to showcase the EP but this one is the one that has perhaps been tested out on the dance floor the most and always results in people clamouring to know what it is. The kind of track that completely changes the atmosphere in a club and often results in spontaneous cheering, it has been mixed to perfection by The Twins ally, Superpitcher who will be releasing their debut album on his and Rebolledo's Hippie Dance label.
