After their debut Drogato on the label in late 2013, this Bavarian trio have ignited excitement among discerning dancefloors worldwide. The A-side's Der Elf gives us serious goosebumps as its monotonous marching 909 snare lays ground for an almost random arrangement of beautiful bending synths and psychedelic chopped female vocals. On the flip, we have a lengthy gorgeous come-down with Are You In Touch w/ Varan After more than half of this muted and breezy oscillat- ing vibe, we're awaked by naive and melodic twinkling keys, helping us all face the daylight.

Nous'Klaer welcomes Cosime, a collaborative project between longtime companions Arif and Job. Their debut EP consists of three tracks, including a version of the A1. Most of the record was recorded and arranged in a few days, home away from home, facing a freshwater lake. On a former island, that is now a peninsula, they did some field recordings which formed the basis of the Hilary EP. On the B side the recordings lay over solid drum programming, centred on the offbeat hat. On the A side Fyr offers a more fluid take, resulting in a splendid play of samples and rhythms sewn together. The alternative take of Fyr takes on an anything-goes approach, highly club appropriate though moving away from the rhythm backbone. Excellent music for pedaloes.

Matt Karmil is a British musician currently residing in Sweden. '++++' is his third album, following 2014's PNN debut '- - - -' and IDLE033, released on Bristol label Idle Hands earlier this year. His output also includes a variety of singles for labels such as New York's Beats In Space Recordings and Stockholm's Studio Barnhus.
On this new album, Karmil can be heard exploring the concepts of impossible objects, reflection, symmetry, infinity - perspective, truncated and stellated polyhedra - hyperbolic geometry, tessellations and lost love. While making the music that constitutes '++++' he interacted with mathematicians George Pólya, Roger Penrose and Harold Coxeter as well as the crystallographer Friedrich Haag, and also conducted his own research into tessellation.

Italian imprint 'Campaign Trail' gets on the road again with a Ronald Reagan themed lo-fi EP from German producer Annanan (Forbidden Planet - LL M). The EP starts with splashing hi-hats, droning stabs and lashings of saturation. Heilbronn based producer 'trp' is called in for remix duties, drawing out a more acid influenced version of 'Runaway'. On the flip side Annanan continues his tape saturated journey first with 'Slow Down', a pulsating slow burner, then with 'Contrast', a slightly more ethereal, pad laden track.

Hungarian imprint Farbwechsel has built up a varied and interesting discography over its 4 years of existence. This limited edition cassette from 'Bouchons D'orelles' deviates slightly from the label's normal aesthetic, taking a more industrial/drone route with the original tracks. The remixes are also a fantastic and well thought-out edition to the release, with the S.Olbricht remix standing out

Jeremiah R has been responsible for some of the finest electro to be released over the past few years, with his mini albums for Tabernacle Records being particularly potent. Here he launches the Distant Wave label with eight more chunks of atmospheric, far-sighted futurism. As usual, he flits between ambient style interludes and more expansive dancefloor fare. In the latter category you'll find the Motor City techno futurism of "Bermuda Triangle", the glistening IDM loveliness of "Streaming To Arcadia", the Larry Heard-in-space deepness of "Cruiser", and the Drexciyan throb of "JAR (Jamming Avoidance Response)". All are, naturally, both luscious and pleasingly melodious, whilst retaining an intergalactic sense of atmosphere.

As a kid growing up in the state's tucked-away capital of Springfield, Justin Cudmore played the drums at home and in school as a jazz percussionist. In his college days Justin dove into electronic music, workshopping new-wave influenced beats in bands and DJing parties. Currently, Justin is a fixture across Brooklyn, popping up on dance floors and behind booths. 2015 saw his track, "Feeling,' released on the Denver-based label Deep Club. Crystal' is Cudmore's debut 12' single. Raw, rough and ready to rumble, Crystal' marries snaking acid lines and bouncy grooves to a sample from cult underground film classic 'The Queen'. On the flip is Detroit-bred and Bunker resident DJ Mike Servito's 730 Reshape', that gives the wiggly worm vibe harkening back to the early days of Transmat, Warp and the minimalism of Dan Bell's DBX project. L.I.E.S. mainstay Gunnar Haslam provides his Dekalb Avenue Remix' made while living in New York, a modular synth cruise with the top down. All tracks have been mastered and EQed for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley and labels are as pink as Crystal's lipstick.

Two years ago I played at Studio 9 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The following day I missed my flight home and ended up spending an extra day, which gave me a chance to explore the city with my friend Linus, who took me to the Contemporary Art Centre. It was there I spotted a book named 'Rojus', that Linus told me translated as 'Paradise'. The word and striking cover of the book stuck in my mind. A few days after returning home, I turned on to a National Geographic documentary named 'Designed To Dance', explaining the courtship rituals of Birds Of Paradise. As I watched, i jokingly began drawing similarities between these birds' attempts to captivate and impress the opposite sex with dance, and the way strangers try to attract one another in clubs and interact on the dance floor. This gave me the idea of creating a record of functional club music, sequenced as if it were a club night, from doors to closing, using samples of these Birds Of Paradise and their habitat. Local Talk, The new and excellent producer John Shima, who has released from Ferox and Boe, Rai Scott, who runs a label with Brad Peterson and also releases from other labels, and finally, the man of experience, Rennie Foster, who has continuously been releasing masterpieces from many labels such as Subject Detroit. Minimal from the school of Perlon, Tracnce, Hosue from the 1990's and Balearic are sensible in his warm, hypnotic sound. Furthermore his soul has a strong psychedelic side while also having an eye for the dancefloor. Eight fines pieces of soundmeditation in a variety of BPMs , each with its own captivating power showing how the notes are playing with Garry Todd, and not the other way around.

Ultramajic have opened a new portal to their roster, welcoming Lando in with the "Stunts" EP. Fresh off the release of his remix of Dorisburg's "Dimension Sculpture" via his own label Myth Music, Lando offers up five slick hypnotic tracks, with pulsing basslines that are right at home in the Ultramajic universe.

Perhaps Syria's most successful musical export, international singer Omar Souleyman has returned with his second proper studio effort and most personal album to date, 'Bahdeni Nami', coming this July from Monkeytown Records. For the new album Omar opened his doors to collaborations with a number of renowned electronic producers, all of whom were established fans keen to offer unique interpretations of Souleyman's established sound. Four Tet returns to produce a track, Gilles Peterson lends his considerable talents to one song, Modeselektor turn in the two fastest dance numbers of the set, and Legowelt offers a remix for the title track. Additionally Black Lips' Cole Alexander treats one of the heart-wounding ballads to a thoroughly distinctive remix that will appear on a 7' in August.

The new album was recorded closer to home, in Istanbul, and appropriately the singer is joined by traditional accompaniment. Souleyman has reunited with his favorite poet, Ahmad Alsamer (who penned his pre-west hits 'Kaset Hanzel', 'Khattaba', and 'Shift -al Mani'), heard throughout the album offering claps and wails of encouragement. The songs come alive with musical contributions and support from the virtuosic saz work of Khaled Youssef, another long time collaborator from his hometown. Keyboards by Rizan Said improvise devotedly to every tune and turn of Souleyman's choice. The lyrics are familiar territory for the singer - declarations of eternal love, consolation of one's aching heart, pleas to his lover to sleep in his arms forever - realized as four fast dance numbers, an introduction mawal, and an elaborate araby style ballad.

Omar Souleyman continues to tirelessly bring his wild dance party to all corners of the world, everywhere from SXSW to the Nobel Peace Prize Concert to rock clubs in cities around the world. Originating from the Hasake region of Syria, Omar earned his reputation by singing and leading years of weddings, birthdays, Christenings, corporate parties and more, answering invites from all peoples living in the region - be it Muslims, Christians, Kurds, Iraqis, Syriacs, Assyrians. Those parties yielded hundreds of cassette tapes at first offered as gifts and later distributed throughout the region and other Arab countries. Despite world's insistence to associate him with his home country's unending war, Omar gives back nothing but Love.

Paul Lorraine's London/Barcelona based imprint Rhythm Cult has previously given us releases by Stephen Beaupre, Barem and Deadbeat and now serves us with a new one by the always impressive Alan Abrahams aka Portable with the Lovers & Players EP. "Reeva Numbers" is high tech and glitchy minimal, spanning close to twelve minutes; this track just builds and builds brilliantly and those church organs are an interesting touch. On the flip "Only Human" it's more beautifully haunting and emotive deep house as usual by Abrahams, reminiscent of his now classic "Hold On" and featuring his wonderful vocals. Finally "Moving Trains & You" is the most fierce effort on here; a dusty and rusty vintage house jam that grinds and clatters away furiously like a Hieroglyphic Being cut.

Deetron founded the label, Character, based on his passion for creating and discovering music. The label will serve as an independent outlet for music without boundaries, welcoming releases from both a plethora of artists, as well as the man himself. It will be a platform for recordings beyond the confines of one particular genre, created to produce music, in its purest form.

The inaugural record, which is designed for the dance floor, finds Deetron teaming up with Ripperton under their rarely seen Roots Panorama moniker. The concept behind the pairing is to get together in the studio, have a jamming session, then individually craft a track each coming away with 2 interpretations of their session.

"Mars" sees Deetron's version focus on the melodic and bright aspect of the original recording, whilst Ripperton takes things deeper into darker territory leading towards a finale with the sort of arresting arpeggio that only he can come up with.

One of our personal favorites from 2015 gets the remix treatment. Remixes by Gifted&Blessed, Mark du Mosh, Duplex and Aera.

For the third release on De:tuned we proudly present The Kosmik Kommando AKA Mike Dred. Mike hardly needs an introduction; considered as one of the masters of the Roland TB-303 Mike has been releasing records under various aliases since the early 90s. He has recorded for high profile labels such as R&S and Rephlex as well as his own Machine Codes label. Together, with Aphex Twin, Mike was behind the Universal Indicator releases which are among the most collectible and sought after records in techno history.

De:tuned has worked closely with Mike to develop an 8 track project that gives props to the American Psychologist Timothy Leary and his proposed theory of 'The Eight-Circuit Model of Consciousness'. This model describes 8 circuits of information that operate within the human nervous system. Each circuit refers to a different sphere of activity, enhanced by experimentation with a particular substance. Each circuit also represents a higher stage of evolution than the one before it and the higher the circuit, the fewer the people have activated it as the higher four circuits exist for those who migrate to outer space and live extraterrestrially.

The 8 Models are applied to the track titles that present a varied collection integrating acid house, techno, electro and rave culture.

3 of the tracks on offer here were written exclusively for Mike's live performance at the De:tuned 'Meeting of Minds' event in June 2012, which was Mike's first full live show in 3 years.

Off the back of the last double 12" EP, Sccucci Manucci return with another 8 house tracks for the Nine Bows EP.

Following up his EP 'String Theory' on Simple, Julian 'October' Smith has teamed up with label head Will Saul, for 'Light Sleeper', Aus Music's final release of 2012. The EP comes with a remix from Kompakt boss Michael Mayer. Jules & Will met last year when Will relocated to Somerset and they seemed to click instantly in the studio. A natural division of labour emerged which proved to be both effective and fun whilst also playing to both's strengths. Jules mans the drum machines and outboard FX and Will controls the synths....they hit record and see what happens. Look out for another 12 from them in Feb next year with a remix from Fred P. October's profile has been steadily rising since the launch of his first label, Caravan Records in 2007. In the last few years, his brand of off-kilter house and techno has also appeared on Skudge, Misericord, Jack Off and Applepips, and been championed by the likes of Ewan Pearson, Skudge and Appleblim. Smith's label 'TANSTAAFL', has been widely praised by the music press, and sets the course forv more of the jacking dancefloor house and techno he is known for. This year Will Saul revealed he was behind Close, a project he's created as a vehicle for his forthcoming album 'Getting Closer' and a A/V show which will feature Will on various machines and Al Tourettes on drums all backed with lovingly crafted visuals created & mixed by Silent Studios. The A/V show debuts at Fabric on the 23rd February and the album will be released in May 2013 on !K7 and features vocals from Joe Dukie of Fat Freddies Drop, Peacefrog artist Charlene Soraia and Paul 'Tikiman' St.Hillaire as well as collaborations with Scuba, Appleblim, Ewan Pearson, and of course October. In the eight years since Michael Mayer released his debut album 'Touch', he's maintained a tightly packed schedule of DJ gigs and remixes.

Hazylujah AKA Massimiliano Vianello returns to Meda Fury, following up the Alejandro Jodorowsky inspired madness of his
debut for the label , the 'How Can You Hide From What Never Goes Away' EP, as well as releases for Delsin and well
received tracks under his Pixel Music alias on DJ Qu's Semesters and the Icon Of Desire label. The '100% EP' is perhaps the most singular release on Meda Fury to date - containing some of Vianello's most extreme compositions yet.
"I think it's the perfect balance of my house and techno sides, the grey zone in the middle, but ever with an adventurous
and experimental attitude,' he explains. "It will be another starting point for my music, there's a lot of research in sound
design and harmonics, another step in what i want to do with house music, trying to take it to the next level"
From the very start, the distorted off-key stomp of 'No' is brutal and devastating. The bizarre spiraling funk of 'Fourth Stone
Bass' follows, challenging and jarring. Side two kicks off with the sleazy EBM arpeggios of 'In Sex', pulsating and twisted
with added heavy breathing. Closing with a return to his more melodic even Balearic dance of '100%', it's clear that
Vianello is an unusual artist of wild imagination, exploring strange new places.
