Niro's (a.k.a. Niro Perrone) unconventional approach to production is reflected in this stunning 3 tracker for Idriss D and Fabrizio Maurizi's unique Memento. Taking inspiration from every noise surrounding him, the immensely talented Italian artist and Unclear Records owner firmly believes that music is communication: his heroes and major influences come from the more left field and avant-garde electronic and underground tradition, while his personal loves include anything from African Esotericism to Jamaican Dub, Jazz, Bossa Nova and Soul, in a cultural eclectic melting pot that is vital to our world's vision. His decade long wandering through most European clubs lead him to open and manage one of his country's most famous venues: Klang was in fact a cornerstone for clubbers and Techno and House aficionados, and it has welcomed a wide number of international DJs and Performers (whom he shared the decks with) along the years up until its closing. Niro's style is ever changing and reflecting his many fascinations, resulting in a manifold and very diverse body of works, as shown on this release. 'Via Newton, 1' is a homage to Klang: the title evokes the club's address, and it's a personal message to a place mostly dear to his heart. The Lo-Fi attitude, dark sexy mood and eerie delicate singings find themselves in a sea of sound manipulations, static and crackles; its late night tale atmosphere is intimate and emotional. 'Involution''s classy vibe and hypnotic groove play along elegant vocal samples, dreamy pads and ethereal chimes sprinkles, while 'Rucola Express' (written and performed with his brother Elia) showcases a sustained bass line moving along to a slow pace, with trippy industrial samples and ghostly echoes. Boosta, founder of the legendary alternative electro rock band Subsonica, revered producer, tv personality, radio host and writer, is on remix duties: his Elementary rework of 'Via Newton, 1' is gentle and suggestive, with strings harmonies and soft beats pummeling along spiritual vocal samples.

dMaiora is proud to welcome on board, for the first vinyl of its catalogue, the experience and talent of established Italian producer "Pirupa". His productions skills appeared on many labels worldwide including top imprints like Desolat, Viva Music, Cecille, Defected and more. "Piano Cure" is a track that makes you dance from start to the end, thanks to a powerful groove and a harmonic piano. To give the best exposure to this amazing production, two great remixers are added to the package: first remix comes from the talented Kuo Climax(Inmotion Music, Moan, Viva Music) and the second remix come's from the great duo Gezim Vrioni (Inmotion Music, Moan, D-Floor Music) and Rini Shkembi (Moan - Bitten - Help). Shit Robot wartet auf seinem dritten Longplayer mit illustren Gästen wir Alexis Taylor und Nancy Whang auf! Markus Lambkin aka Shit Robot präsentiert mit "What Follows" sein neues Album, das am 06.05.2016 via DFA erscheinen wird. Die Anfänge des neuen Werks finden sich einmal mehr in Stuttgart, wo Lambkin lebt. Zusammen mit DFA-Kollege Juan Maclean wurde das Material dann in New Hampshire gemixt. Generell wurde das Album durch viele neue technische Einflüsse und Experimente geprägt, neben Hot Chips' Alexis Taylor befinden sich auch Kollaborationen mit Nancy Whang, Museum Of Love, New Jackson und Jay Green auf "What Follows".

Alex Dolby is already known for not being afraid of taking new steps with his label Affekt Recordings and his Affekt Club. His next EP Calypso on the limited vinyl edition of Affekt Recordings, shows Alex classic history and love to techno in all his variety, art and beauty. This time Alex chose REBOOT for taking the part of remixing his track. What we get is a typical Reboot track with over 12 minutes of great percussions and atmosphere. ...Calypso EP is a strong 3 tracker, which definitely has a chance to become a classic record, one day...

'The ever-busy AUS Music continue to assert their consistency and follow up EPs from Tom Demac, Escape and Youandewan with the second offering on the label from Toronto born Bwana. Having kept his cards close to his chest during a 2 year hiatus from releasing music, Bwana broke the silence with his 'Flute Dreams' EP back in December of 2014 which offered a propitious insight into the second chapter of his anthology. Now returning with his 'Tengo' EP, he continues on form, reaffirming the benefits of patience and proving that he's an artist capable of touching many bases effectively. Continuing to widen the gulf between his original and current sound, the A side opens up with a pacy, Trance-minded thud that becomes coloured with thick, swooning melodies before 'Drop Mechanism' sets impassioned strings and sweeps over a thick, booming low-end. 'Due-West' then sets out a snapping, forthright groove that rounds up a rich and varied EP leaving us left wondering what else Bwana has tucked up his sleeve.

Clio has joined Truesoul with some superb electronic tracks that are techy and filled with funk.

Since we discovered him ve years ago, Alexander Berg has been one of our favorite producers. Under his Dorisburg alias, he's built one of the most consistent iscographies in contemporary club music. Yet, his debut in Hivern is one of his most captivating releases to date.Irrbloss features nearly an hour of Dorisburg new music. Eight cuts in which Berg unleashes several incarnations of his sound and delves into his most melodic and mystical facet. Tracks such as Irrbloss and Votiv exude a highly spiritual feeling, connecting the profundity of archaic myths with state of the art electronic production. Gloson and Gripen, in contrast, are much more danceoor oriented eorts, showing Berg's most cerebral and somber side. Kassiopeia and Cirkla are two slices of sinuous techno that demonstrate once again Berg's ability to blend evocative landscapes with club eciency. Finally, Insvept and Sagofabrik conde a more meditative and adventurous approach. In other words: a gripping journey with a kind of inspirational energy not easily found in today's dance music.The double EP's artwork is by American painter Jeanette Mundt, with design by Arnau Pi.

Ama Recordings is the label Mannheim's Ray Okpara has been running since 2010 and for its 15th outing
turns to Nekes and Steve Cock for five tracks of irresistible tech house.
Nekes is the Greek born boss of Oslo, another tech house label known for its consistently engaging output, and
the label where he has released most of his music to date.
The Germany based producer's first cut, 'Thank You Neighbour' is a rolling steely cut with tightly locked beats
and bass, an involving electronic pulse at its heart and the sort of clipped groove that it is impossible to ignore.
'Donmakoto' is a slightly slower, deeper, warmer affair with low down bass, rubbery kicks and hooky little
percussive wiggles that bring plenty of dynamic movement to the loopy drums below.
Buyers of a digital persuasion will also get treated to digi-only bonus 'Dagles', a dubbed out roller with sonorous
chords and stripped back design that really weaves its way under your skin.
Steve Cock is another German producer with a reputation for crafting fine dancefloor bombs. They have come
on labels like Cargo Edition and Avida Musik before now and manage to embody influences from a much wider
musical sphere. Cock's first jam is 'Cycles', which indeed rotates in catchy little circles, where flappy kicks
under pin shimmying percussive patterns and various other loops drop in and out to hypnotic effect.
Completing his brace of contributions is 'Black Soul', which rattles and rumbles as a non-descript male vocal
mutters up top. It's slowly building stuff that builds and builds the tension, eventually releasing it with some lush
and liquid jazzy chords. It's feel good stuff that demands to be played on a terrace under warm sun.
With this EP Ray Okpara's label re-establishes high quality levels for the tech house genre and reminds us just
how essential a genre it is when done properly

Carl Craig's Planet-E imprint turns 20 this year. To celebrate, as well as a world-wide label tour, Craig released a best of Planet-E compilation - entitled '20 F@#&ING Years - We Ain't Dead Yet' and is releasing a monthly remix release from the Planet-E back catalogue, where friends of the label choose their favourite Planet-E release and add their take on it.

Daphni (AKA Caribou AKA Dan Snaith) is up next, choosing 'Modular Pursuits' by No Boundaries. 'Modular Pursuits' was originally released as a vinyl-only analog synth project in 2010. Daphni takes the frenetic original and adds some bounce, soul and groove, allowing the mind-dance of the original to appear mid-way.

Arma Label announces its eighth release. San Proper's Pet=Master EP is the second extended play record in a row produced by the label in year 2014.
Series of ecstatic appearances of San Proper at Arma17's major events literally forced the label to choose more in-depth format to publish the artist.
Pet Master is very subtile, contemporary reconstruction of colourful experience of Amsterdam underground veteran. It contains three tracks, each of them is full of energy that San Proper shared over the last fifteen years, "spinning and playing live from major clubs and festivals to smaller bars and dodgy underground locations".

Timeless and kickin' tech-house with hands-up-energy and potential to set dance floors on fire - until today! And it seems the two continued where they stopped in 2011 but without being copycats to themselves. Again we present a strong package here that pushes the listener to the floor. The opening track "Share" is built around a cool and modulating bassline and the drums got spiced up with some oldskool flavour for all you Kink- and Guy-Gerber-fans out there: Chicago house as we like it! The added vocals round up the start of the e.p. and makes it perfect to welcome the first sun of the season. "All About" seems to be a bit more deeper and relaxed at start - the good old "dub" like we used to know it from the high times of vinyl-djing. Again there is oldskool power in here: A massive open 909 HiHat, filtered sounds and vocals form a builder that turns more and more into a proper peaktime monster, too. Without noticing it this dub-like-smoother is morphing into massive floorfiller, great! With "Resistance" the two seem to emphasis their improved and progressed sound even more. Banging drums, loud and kicking HiHats and Claps and those detroit-like backward vocals beam us back to the motorcity-techno-age.

More than a label, Nine Eleven Records is feeling, culture and respect for House and Techno underground music. We don't think this music styles are a passing fashion but a way of life that guided us for a long time and have made ourselves the way we are.

911. Love is Love

For this first EP, its creators and label owners, Sergio Parrado and Plä Ziom, take samples of Hip-Hop, R&B, Techno, Funk and disco sounds perfectly geared and ready for the dance floor.

We can find 'DISTRITO 11 (Original Mix)' in side A1. It's a solid groove track based on 808 and 909. Its bass line is a Hips-breaker and synths and voices complete this track that rescue house essence.

On the other side, B1, we find a 'DISTRITO 11' remix signed by one of the 'fittest' music producers worldwide: Javier Carballo (One Records/Overall Music). He has made a very energetic remix with a touch of Techno and a bass line plenty of tension: Intense and deep. We can say this track is 100% Carballo.

Last track on EP is located in B2 side. Another track from the Bad Boys from 'Spanish Motor City': Swing Rebels. Protagonist here is Miss 808, shaped as the bass line, and her friend 909 giving to us an infectious and sticky groove. New wave synths add ephemeral warm bites and R&B voices complete this track.

Label head Tobias Lindén is making his long awaited return with this 3-tracker of deep, hypnotic techno. Here, his analogue signature sound laced with organic percussive elements marries with strong influences from Tobias frequent visits to Brazil.

London born D. Lean lives in the windswept Swedish countryside on the outskirts of Stockholm. His surroundings have a notable influence on the sound of the Autoreply Music boss. Expansive and absorbing
techno with a nod to the classic sounds and techniques of the genre.
After two excellent 10" singles and a remix of Ken Ishii and Romboy's single "Taiyo", Lean released an appetiser ahead of this double CD album of the same name, "Time Tourism.
This long player is a classy, deep and delicate dark electronica album in the tradition of Detroit techno, which gets taken on a trippy, tracky and repetitive journey.

Roche showcases that he is at the top of his game, crafting absorbing sun-kissed leftfield house/techno that gets inside your head with its beautiful hazy melodies, supported by creative and layered drum programming. A deep haze of hardware/digi psychedelia glues the project together, pressing the listener to play the tracks one more time.

After the massive 'Pressure' mixes were released in August, Vince Watson keeps up the momentum with an absolute monster and two class A artists on remix duty. 'Sequential' is one of those tracks that make your hair stand up just before you run to the DJ booth to find out what it is. BASS!! 2 huge baselines fill the room and a trickle of sublime melodies follow suit...kindly given breathing space by a sumptuous breakdown before the energy explodes again. Its up there with 'Aurelon' and 'A Very Different World' and shows yet again (how many times have we said it) that Vince Watson's productions are of a different level. As if the original was not enough, also delivered here are 2 remixes by none other that DJ Rolando from UR/Jaguar fame and 2020/Planet E's Paul Woolford. Both remixes take a different route and follow the more subtle dubby approach with Rolando going for the uptempo Jacking approach, and Paul Woolford heading straight for the main room at Berghain with a deep and dark effort, massive subs and funky percussion are the key here and both deliver on the promise. Overall this is an outstanding package and expect to hear Sequential' in every main room in the very near future. Oh...and don't worry, you will know it when you hear it.

The Strange Days continue... Lory D returns with three caustic symphonies from the burning ashes of Rome.

Loversrock´s Monster brings you a blast from the past. The former duo Oliver Mohnsame and Bruno Harth produced the track back in 2004, using the raw power of analog synths sequenced on an Atari straight on DAT. This is music made according to instinct, by two brilliant minds.
The monstrous beat aims at the dancefloor with no fear of classic repetitions and stomping grooves. After unfolding the dramatic scene playful melodic elements join in and create an atmosphere which drives the dancer into a serious trance.


For Amselcom, London-based Jaya Shakira reworked the track in her fairy-like style, adding a piano that shows off the composition talent of Loversrock. For the remix of her rework Decalculator brought Iannis Ritter's smoky voice into the project. The artists achieve a calm, but poppy convergence, which fully does justice to the original Monster/by Loversrock.

The b-side is a trip into oldschool sample based techno funk, containing the tracks Freak and Shade. Freak plants a funny but dangerous musical description of a techno enthusiast into your ears. The samples used in Shade sound like they could've been recorded at the Zoo and present a variety of mystic sounds.

Today we once again celebrate the coming together of two of Techno's most legendary and respected figures for the next installment of their much lauded Elements Series - Oliver Huntemann & Dubfire. As the series name alludes, 'Aire' is a track that harnesses elements from the previous brace of tracks and brings them together whilst adding a fresh touch of flair. Ireland's Matador takes on the remix task, delivering two contrasting new versions. His beautifully deep Dub Mix is an understated, smooth and wondrous excursion while his Main Mix throws down its earth-moving kick drum throughout as he allows the original atmospherics and fx to playfully pierce the production.

Physically, our latest addition to the Correspondant roster, Patrice Baumel, is by far the biggest. So, it seems somewhat fitting that his debut on Correspondant is simply HUGE. As a DJ Patrice made a name for himself as one of the resident selectors at the sorely missed Amsterdam club Trouw, and as a DJ he broke in to the music scene with a Roar (quite literally) on Get Physical back in 2007, and hasn't let up since, with his recent releases on Kompakt seeing him hone his powerful style which is wholly in evidence on his first ever release as part of the Correspondant family.

Both originals, "North" and "This World" showcase a punchy polyphony that is as easily as big as anything we've ever released on Correspondant (and we know how to do BIG!), while Voiski's remix of North brings the original's arps to the fore and takes the track to the most danceable fringes of IDM.

Releasing albums on Perlon, ~scape, Background and his own label Süd Electronic, Portable has appeared on a string of highly credible imprints, with singles also landing on Karat Records, Musik Krause and Yore Records. Spending his early years in Cape Town, Portable moved to London, followed by Lisbon, before finally settling in Berlin. Whilst in Lisbon he also created his Bodycode alias, and soon after dropped an album on Ghostly International's sister-label Spectral Sound. Kick-starting his release on Rhythm Cult, 'Reeva Numbers' is a dusky production complete with ethereal organ chords, offbeat stabs and subtle melodies. Next, 'Only Human' draws from the sound of the producer's Bodycode moniker, implementing more dancefloor-focused aesthetics with the help of shuffling rhythms, deep vocal moans and heady keys. Concluding the release, 'Moving, Trains And You' is the most minimal number of the package with rolling percussion, soaring pads and a heightening suspense.

Out of the depths of the Cosmic Pint comes a Disco release from the Alps of Slovenia.Complete with live bass guitars, sparkling arpeggios and swirling drifts of analogue equipment Ichisan and Nakova have constructed two beautifully stripped back tracks that chug along like a golden steam engine fueled on Chanel No. 5. With remixes by Ruf Dug and Jonathan Krisp.Igor 'Ichisan' Skafar and Jure 'Nakova' Plestenjak met up over 10 years through their mutual love of Scandinavian Nu-Disco, and over the past decade have been steadily carving out a new style of Yugo Disco.Princesa makes its entrance with a playful rhythm. Before long the arpeggios come in giving an added sense of activity, it's only when the piano starts to play that the track takes on an air of elegance. Princesa is a warm, light hearted theme, in the vein of some of the Metro Area greats. The track itself seems to tell a story with changes of mood, excitement and drama.Mrk has a sense of urgency from the outset. Synth chords stab a pathway, horns join in followed by keys. The intensity builds, filters open and then all of a sudden a different rhythm takes the lead opening up to sun scorched Balearic guitars. It's a beautiful journey.
Ruf Dug returns to the Cosmic Pint Glass, changing Princesa into a fantastic subtropical adventure. Opening up the proceedings with some distinctly steamy panpipes and an array of additional percussion. Ruf has a definitive style of his own and you can definitely hear it in this remix, perfectly marrying his tropical world styles with the Yugo Disco, ensuring they live happily ever after.
All round gentleman and amateur parapsychologist, Jonathan Krisp steps up to the plate unveiling his mysticism drenched version of Mrk.Dizzyingly layered chords start the cogs turning, wood blocks, spring reverb and chimes all help build the atmosphere. A church organ is used, like a medieval Todd Terje, flipping the track back into a Disco powered dance workout.
