Following the recent release of his stunning 'Many Is Like Money'

released by Italian Kes, after a couple Rebirth in the last three year and

his only Melisma, charted by Luciano, with Dani Casarano and Felipe

Valenzuela, Stefano as a result of his growing knowledge and skills

becomes capable of creating some of the finest and most intuitive

cuts as "Friday Night" and the title-track "Hot Sea's Baby Turtle".

Two of most renowned minds of the scene, gentlemen and friends as

Ernesto Ferreyra and Frivolous, make nothing short of a flawless release.

They become integral part of the project. Both mixes are perfectly

related to the originals although are completely different as settings.

Ernesto makes a bang-groove from which is not possible to save.

Frivolous, after having enjoyed much of the music from Stefano, plays

and produces for him, with its unique sound, a song clearly made in

Frivolous Land.

Things Already Seen are things seen more than a time, but we are sure

that was never heard.

We've been waiting a release on Versatile from our long time friend Ark. It now done with this "Street House EP", an ode to B-Boy house.Emba Anthem, with its samples from a cult west coast 90's hip hop band, and the bewitching Nuark, which mixes deepness, sensuality and odd funky groove, but inna Ark unique fashion.

Minimood Extra's forthcoming release is a vinyl only, red 12" affair that features two novel reworks of dub techno wizard David Hausdorf's legendary Salo release 'Space Walk'. Germany's David Hausdorf has been turning out expertly crafted deep techno since the late nineties. He did so on labels like Synaptic Waves as well as Styrax Leaves, and in 2002 served up his classic 'Space Walk' on the epic Berlin based imprint Salo.
First up is the 2015 Version. It is a ten minute piece of heady, hypnotic techno with soft rubber drums, gently propulsive percussion and icy high-hats that add a real sense of scale and depth to the track. With slick boom-bap bite in the claps and hits, this is the sort of expertly reduced track that will lock dance floors in for hours.
Then comes the 2015 Reshape, which again makes full use of its 10 minute length. There is a little more edgy reverb in this one, the drums are more upright and the pads are a little more rippling and rolling. It's a liquid groove as a result, and one that is near faultless for the way it rolls on and on without any friction.

Acid, no wave and experimental house producer Drvg Cvltvre has been busy recently. After releasing with Chris Moss Acid on Shipwrec in 2014, Vincent Koreman then served up a full EP of his own, on Dutch label COS_MOS and is now back once again with a new four track affair on Pinkman that comes two years after he offered up the label's first EP in 2013.
Up first, 'My Houz' is a swampy house track with heavy drums, whirring machines and white noise textures all adding up to an intense affair that sounds like little else. Then comes 'Tyranny of the Gods,' a slow tempo but high impact track that builds and builds on a nerve lead synth line as frazzled bass props things up from below. Dark and weird, occult and rave, it's another unique proposition. On the flip, 'Sleepdealer' is an unbalanced house track with taught, tight bass and is shot through with laser like synths. Serene and spaced out, it makes way for closer 'Crack Spirit Guide' which is a noisy, intense and brooding fusion of crisp percussion, big walls of synth and chattering drums that really have you on edge. Once agin, then, Drvg Cvltvre has come up with the idiosyncratic goods.

Our dear friend and Oslo Label mastermind Federico Molinari returns on Raum, this time together with his mate Alexis Cabrera.
Both of them are hailing from Argentina but currently are living in Berlin. There they also met and decided to start this project together. These two jams are the first result now and we hope you like them as much as we do !

After the success of their first EP, Gilb'R and DJ Sotofett joined forces again for an impromptu jam in the Versatile studio.While one was recording, the other arranged it on the fly, creating the impression of a live band playing: organs, live bassline, percussions, live delay feedback and so on...The result Two tracks of 'jungle hypnosia'

The latest missive from Aisha Devi's Danse Noire, continues in step with the Swiss label's adventurous spirit adding release to their steadily growing catalog (El Mahdy Jr, Aisha Devi, Vaghe Stelle) operating on the fringes of rhythm-driven sound system musics and transcendental auditory experiences. Their next release comes by way of IVVVO (Public Information, Opal Tapes, Fourth Wave), whose exquisitely scraped up sonic explorations and tape-warped techno/house mutations unfold with intoxicatingly knotty arrangements, queasy atmospheres, and unhurried minor-key motifs that unveil and retreat back into the shadows. IVVVO's latest 'Theories of Anxiety' hisses and haunts - vacillating between head-turning vignettes and peak time moments for the freest of club audiences. The techno stomp of "Fear" snakes it's way through the labyrinthine arrangement and flange-twisted atmospheres. The unhinged "So Much" hobbles towards the finish line crutching broken-sounding Trax-era rhythms, while "Redux" centers around a dark arabesque melody and futuristic tribal drum track. The tilting gauziness of the record's deep centerpiece "Consumed" subtly injects ghostly pitched-up volces into a sea of swells that both soar and growl.

The Verwunschen Ep got influenced by many Deep House music, Tech House, but also by Electronic Underground Music, which was not made for the club. A Mixture of this and organic instruments, which are typical for his music, made the music warm and melancholic, but the cutted Vocals brought a little clubby Atmosphere in the track. In the Bonus Track "Bosporus" you hear the Influence of Berlin Tech House music. Trumpets were very popular at that time in berlin. The track was only made for the club. Remixes from Marlon Hoffstadt and Matthias Kick were organised, who did their own interpretation and showed some other sides of the song.

'Around' might come as a surprise for many club-heads as Noir usually produces club tracks and is now moving into the 'electronic songs' area.
However 'Around' makes the perfect transition for Noir as it refletcs some of his trademark club-sounds mixed with the new melodic and more in-depth electronic sound.
Coming out on the 16th July on Defected, this 12" vinyl contains two exclusive remixes from Subb-an and the MURKed Vocal Mix along with the much loved Solomon remix which was one of the hit singles of 2011.

The R Zone series excels at raw, inventive, off kilter club music from a range of mysterious artists. That fine tradition continues once more here with another four cuts of inventive music that takes cues from techno, IDM, acid and house. Lumidei is all wonky drums and out of time hits and is a brilliantly weird cut full of spacious atmospherics. Mynheer is built on a bed of broken beats, knocking hits and metallic textures that all tumble and fall around loosely and invitingly. D

Berlin. March 2016. Berlin duo Soukie & Windish are releasing their second long-player work 'Loom' on their home label 'URSL Records' this coming May.
An album for the moment, Looming its way through our moves with its dreamy, escapist moods. Loom carries accents of dirty micro-pop while managing to be both upbeat and deep simultaneously. It is an album of tension — pushing out through every carefully selected drum and every distant, distorted synth line. It marks the moment when you decide not to go home.

After the sensation caused by its last release, Life and Death comes back strong with another battle cry into the darkness. With a prized new member of the family, Vaal, joining forces with a Life and Death mainstay, Tale of Us, the stage is set for another epic EP from the forward thinking label.

On the A side Concor grabs the listener with its immediate sense of urgency and a beckoning, slightly exotic melody. As it slowly twists and turns, moving ever more insistently towards its peak it propels the listener to a distant exotic land, as a throbbing beat and cymbals accentuate and elevate the tension. Already a mainstay of the few DJs lucky enough to get their hands on it early, this is sure to be one that will lodge itself deeply into the collective unconscious as we make the long march thru winter and back to summer again.

Over on the B side comes Seahnak, an equally beautiful piece of music that manages to present its intricate melody without ever letting its energy dip. Gothic and yet regal at the same time, as the lead synth shoots out the gate, it takes us on a surprising journey as it pushes the limits of what we might expect from dance music while raising our expectations of it in the process.

Wild is the hashtag for the third ep in 'acid arab collections' series. Wild, because where can you step when the dancing area has been electrocuted by the essence of eastern and arabic music Keywords: intense freedom and instant trance.

once more, parisian band acid arab and versatile label have invited other musicians to share the experience of letting this timeless cultural fluid flow into the coldness of occidental electronic savoir-faire. since 'collections' ep01 was released more than a year ago, it seemed fair that the music would evolve to a next level. what happened took everybody by surprise: producers jumped into vehemence! Acid arab's own track 'zahr' is an outrageous race, based on an epic merged rhythm of jordan artist shadi khries' percussions and the machine beats. Acid arab keyboardist and producer pierrot casanova delivers an uncanny solo that moves body from mind to feet. Gilb-r recorded in versatile's studio more percussion from shadi khries, as well as his voice, plus the frantic saxophones of etienne jaumet. He then proceeded to create the soundtrack of being a living drone in wasteland, flying from near the sun to a dry and mysterious sand. The song is haunted by an old jordan poem that adds even more deepness to this timeless piece. Mysterious french duet society of silence, whose live acts stunned anyone who luckily witnessed them, has been on acid arab's wishlist for a while and already released 2 ep's on versatile.

. Worth waiting 'baghdad' is furious, inventive and harsh on the dancers. Mean acid line, possessed beatings and creepy voices come together on an in-your-face style that smells of danger and excitement. Berlin artists an-i and hugo capablanca have also chose the path of wrath on 'farsi farce'. With a few iranian words and a lot of keyboards, a punk beat and a ravy bass, they succeed in establishing a fine line between middle-east nightclubs and flemish warehouses. If it makes you feel like being in the middle of a fight, that's probably good.

Alland Byallo returns to his own Bad Animal imprint with two dark, hypnotic, broken techno gems. The title cut features the gifted Aquarius Heaven on vocals, while Byallo himself blesses the mic on "Good Hurt". UK's finest, Mosca, flips "Dead Ringer" into a psychedelic dance floor burner. Fresh from Catz 'N Dogz own recent remixes of Disclosure, Roisin Murphy and Rufus comes their own remix album of the critically acclaimed 'Basic Colour Theory' album the Polish DJs, producers and Pets Recordings' label owners have now invited a prolific array of artists to remix a selection of the LP's signature tracks. This collection will be released digitally as well as on vinyl on 11th March 2016 The 2015 original LP combined traditional songwriting meets Catz 'N Dogz trademark infectious basslines; a natural result of extensive sonic exploration and the osmotic process of years of DJing worldwide, all the while developing a deeper understanding of what they want to deliver through their music. From more simple edit work, to entire tonal shifts, the pair's songwriting has been reassembled by an eclectic, star-studded cast of beatmakers that include Jamie Jones, Maurice Fulton, Skudge and Yotam Avni all skillfully apply curious fusions of their own unique musical roots. Wonderful energetic dance music with well integrated rhythmic and melodic structures. Cristi Cons is a romanian musician from known (a:rpia:r) who also runs his own Amphia imprint. This to the point dance-floor-proven EP now becomes available, pressed into solid wax as Cristis debut on Meander. Lifelong studies in classical music as a cellist have sharpened his sensitivities for unique harmonies and a good ear for sounds. A few years back he got fascinated by the modern spirit of club music surrounding him in Bucharest and beyond. Besides working on his solo productions, he recently worked with Pedro Inspirescu for the TT Ensemble project released on Yojik-Concon. Furthermore he created Sideways Invisibility Theory together with Vlad Caia plus a new cooperational jam called Verico with Raresh and Vlad. We are certain Cristi Cons will continue to make waves in a muscial field which is fascinated by feelings, rhythm and the observation of nature.

We have reached number 10. time to celebrate with a remix edition of the Deep88 & Melchior Sultana project. Awaiting the album release (later 2014) we asked 2 of our heroes if they would like to make a remix for us. with a lot a lot (and a lot) of happiness we announce the Nightwave remix by Ben 'Cozmo D' Cenac, formerly known as Dream 2 Science (and Sha-Lor and Newcleus and The Cellar Boyz), that made us a wonderful space trip with his dreamy synths and stylish drums.
the other remix is 'yo house' treated by the excellent australian producer Andras Fox, that converts the song into a super classy deep house one with a lot of hiss and love. The man behind 'running late' really made some magic over the melody of yo house, as usual with the aim of analogue warm-tape-feel and his crazy skills.

the worldwide house music scene for well over two decades spinning regularly at prestigious clubs such as Rex in Paris, Fabric in London and Sub Club in Glasgow to name a few over his illustrious career. DJ IZ now makes his Fatsouls Records debut with heavy new remixes of the track "Mind The Gap"-originally released on the highly acclaimed and well charted "Treasures of Twilight Compilation" (Fatsouls Records) compiled by label founder DJ Said. The new remixes take us beyond the funky Afro electro beats of the original track and bring into the forefront DJ Iz's deep soulful baseline driven house style into the mix. Ovum's 20th birthday celebrations continues with the return of Itamar Sagi. Itamar Sagi debuted on Ovum in 2009 with the amazing Fiona/Agnes Blue. After a five year hiatus from the label, he triumphantly returns with the Invisible Key EP. Raised in the hot spot of Tel Aviv, with his artist roots deep in the techno underground. Itamar is from the new breed of the current techno wave. Already well respected, Sagi's reputation continues to grow with his unique floor filling productions. His productions have caught the attention of legends such as Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, Carl Craig, Francois K and others. It wasn't long before he found recognition on a worldwide scale, including reviews and interviews with many of the world's most popular dance magazines and radio stations. With releases on Ovum, Be As One, Soma, Drumcode and more, Sagi has shown that he is here to stay. The Invisible Key EP kicks off with the title track 'Invisible Key", which is classic Sagi. The track slowly brings you in with it twists and turns. The track bubbles and builds and creates a tension that will keep the dance floor wanting more and more. The second track from this EP 'New Order' harkens back to the sound of Basic Channel, G-Man, and John Ciaffone. Sagi once again builds the tension with vocal samples and effects that deliver an absolute massive punch without being over done. For the final track 'Dub Superstitions", Sagi brings us a proper techno workout. The track percolates and builds and once again Sagi's amazing use of tension deliver a proper massive finish to this stellar EP.

Kaiser is a Bari-based producer and DJ. He began his collaboration with Etruria Beat in 2013 with the track Conversation", part of the VA named Bud Sampler (Part 1), many times played by Richie Hawtin. Today he presents his first Ep for Etruria, entitled Medusa". The pack consists of two original tracks Save the Chord", so entitled because of the presence of some overlapping dub-chords which intersect one each other and create a melody on which grows a well balanced groove, and Medusa' taking its name by the Ep, is a techno track with an aggressive and imposing rhythm , perfect for the most powerful dancefloors! In addition then, two remixes by highly respected artists in the European techno scene: DJ Emerson , Microfon Rec. owner and well-known producer on Clr and Sleaze records, infecting Save the Chord' with his typical sound, comes up with a powerful kick and a impetuous groove, restless. Finally Matthias Fridell , after many releases on relevant techno labels such as like Gynoid Audio and AFFIN supplies a dark-and-meantime-melodies contaminated version, crossing some Detroit-reminding sounds. We say this with endless positive feelings: Luca Ballerini is one of our - kids' that brought pure joy and pride to the Cocoon Recordings family! His 2015 single for Cocoon Recordings and his style of producing music in general simply seems fresh to us and makes us smile - this is pure electronic art turned into music!
Ballerini wants to pay respect to his role models Sven Väth, Carl Craig and the masters of modern electronic techno art: Basic Channel. He also follows the music of artists like Levon Vincent or Omar S and is brave enough to say all this out loud. These influences and styles are noticable in his new release for Cocoon Recordings: - Impressions Of A Dawn' comes with a slight mid 90s vibe - the emotional era of Sven Väths music productions. The Detroit techno sound of artists like Carl Craig and the Berlin underground sound of Moritz Von Oswald & Mark Ernestus shines through here, too. However, Ballerini is not copying at all - he merges all these influences and creates his very own style,
his own music. He composes and creates emotions just like the music he loves. He is not just focusing and one idea or on a simple bassline-beat-combination. With his music Luca Ballerini is a modern story teller and that's probably the talent that touches us so much. - Orizzonte' sticks to that basic concept, too and follows the vibe of big Guy Gerber or Tim Green productions - which takes Ballerini in good company. This is great cinemascope like techno music for all the epic and emotional moments
on the dancefloor - grazie mille Luca!

The second part in the Hudd Traxx 10th Anniversary 'Now & Then' compilation sees tracks from Luna City Express, Sek, Iz & Diz and Rick Wade. Berlin duo Luna City Express serve up a lush deep house groove that builds throughout the track, and will bring a smile to the faces of those who follow them on their beloved Moon Habour Recordings. Sek uses slick beats, trippy leads, a driving bassline and some 'Thug life' vocals to ensure this one has 'future classic' written all over it. Go back in time (to 2006 to be precise) on the 'Then' side to find Iz & Diz's 'Happy'. The words 'epic' & 'journey' are often misused in music but both can be mentioned about this track. It had devastating effect on first release and is set to do the same again nearly 10 years later. Rick Wade closes things out in fine style to fly the Detroit flag on an all Chicago / Detroit side.

Another hot limited Marcellus Pittman release with 3 tracks. Already been played by Theo Parrish and Omar S. Dirty raw house tracks from Detroit! On a dark dance floor you will be given a glimpse into the heart and mind of Marcellus Pittman.

Think early Relief Records and the Green Velvet sound of the mid 90's, very cerebral and freaky undertones. All of this done from an earlier Mathematics artist coming back into the game. Included on the EP is a take on some jungle with a twist of analog house notes on top.

Jus Groove It is a new label launched by Rhythm&Soul where he'll release his own productions and collaborations with other House Chefs and friends. A record label focused on new grooves, tight beats, hypnotic sounds and modern House music. First release comes by himself, two tracks, one per side. Both combining west coast house flavors with modern and organic house grooves. West Feel and Beyond the Basics are both made to shake your body and warm your floor! Music made for Dj's and Groove lovers.

Named after Internet abbreviation 'TBT', Truth Be Told is the acclaimed label of DJ and producer Robert Dietz. He created the label along with close friend and business partner Hendrik Schneider, combining their visions to infuse an alternative from what's current in the electronic music world right now, Truth Be Told Records aims for originality, creativity, and boasts music with character. Dietz launches his imprint, making sure the label's commitment to innovation remains at the forefront no matter how much action is taking place in the background. He not only uniquely focuses on exposing other artists to the limelight; he continues to make new music of his own in his own way. Dietz returns to the scene of notably fresh house grooves that the Frankfurt producer has recently excelled in. This works alongside a vision that is as much in line with that of his patient, confident evolution as a DJ Producer. Here responsible for an array of exciting talent, Truth Be Told sees Dietz welcome a development trend and take a proud step into the heart of the labels A&R process.

With a current knack of attracting some of the electronic music scenes' most revered talent to the label (see recent releases from Laurent Garnier, Luke Vibert and Losoul), it's with open arms then that Hypercolour welcome Seth Troxler to the fold, bringing with him Phil Moffa in this new collaborative effort. Seth needs little introduction, suffice to say his previous releases on labels like Crosstown Rebels and Wolf & Lamb (amongst others) has shone like stars, and Phil Moffa comes with a very decent pedigree and studio prowess that has seen him previously team up with the likes of DJ Spider and Anthony Parasole, as well as running the Butcha Sound studios in NYC.

'Blue Rawls' builds broodingly, a basic kick and güiro combination beat incessantly against the dramatic and chaotic sheets of dense pads and analog wizardry. As though the heavens open, a operatic vocal sings from up high, whilst Hitchcockian strings swirl around, ping ponging the track's sentiments wildly from dark to light.

On the flip, 'Meet The Butcha' is science fiction techno, pure and simple. Swinging drum patterns, perpetual claps and feverish hat work nail the energy levels, whilst classic 90's techno tropes are woven into the arrangement to produce a track that sounds so fresh yet reassuringly familiar. It's basically a techno bomb, in other words. Troxler & Moffa get busy of the FX, warping and morphing the otherworldly synths to produce a colorful and kaleidoscopic trip to distant planets.

'Rogue Music' kicks off another strong year for Hypercolour, with the standard being set high with forthcoming musical contributions from the likes of Kerrier District, House Of Black Lanterns, J. Wiltshire, Dense & Pika and A Sagittariun. As for Troxler & Moffa, further studio endeavors are expected soon, both in collaboration and separately, as well as packed DJ schedules and spit roasting (and we mean Seth's Smokey Tails BBQ joint in London, thanks very much).
