Der Dresdner Kumpel DJ Gunjah ist derjenige, der immer dort ist, wo man ihn nicht erwartet. Er bespielt die
großen Bühnen und weiß, wie man auch in der Hitze der kleinen Schauplätze den Dancefloor zum kochen
bringt, z.B. mit seinem neuen Track "House of Lords."
Der Mann der Stunde ist Niconé, der zusammen mit Aves Volare den extrem driftenden Track "Don't Stay'
zusammensetzt. Niconé hat seine Fan Base auf der ganzen Welt, ist Teil der Bar 25-Gemeinde, Kopf von
Dantze Records und einer, der immer bis zum Ende tanzt.

Many have tried to recreate the following with varying success, but why reach for an imitation when you have the originators at work here in a first-ever collaboration between UK stalwarts Steven Rutter (B12/Warp/FireScope) and Kirk Degiorgio (As One, Applied Rhythmic Technology). Building a bridge across the sounds of the UK and Detroit, the combined influences, styles and elements of this teaming-up is fully realised in 4 tracks of neo hi-tech soul, where the rhythm and groove of Degiorgio meets the emotive atmospherics of Rutter.'Reconnaissance Pass' opens up the channels with a quirky, upbeat jaunt alongside drawn out honeyed sunset sky hues and glittering oceans, a luscious prismatic medley of body and soul. Drenching darkness with lightness, 'Sechel' has delicately tuned percussion and sensitively sustained strings together with a relentless pounding kick and an acid bassline in the same elevator headed towards the future. Etheric synths and strings float above the groove pool of 'Encapsulation', at once both reaching for the heavens and grounded in a shaker-filled dance. First led by a muted bassline, 'Tri Order Descent' bursts open in kaleidoscopic brilliance midway before breaking into arpeggiated locomotion, a spacecraft discovery journey set forth for new and uncharted terrain.

The Grand Tour in road cycling is often regarded as being the most mentally and physically demanding athletic event in the world. Every year the Tour de France sets the stage for the seasons most anticipated race, taking place over the course of 21 days and 3,500km's, in a tradition going back more than 100 years. This release honors three Italian greats of the sport: Fausto Coppi, Gino Bartali, & Francesco Moser; champions and national heroes.

"Lecker" means delicious in German. This was the most said word during the 5 days Joerg and Pablo spent together in Barcelona, 'Lecka'. Five days that were mixed between studio time and gastronomic moments. Five tracks make this detailed and deep EP since the first beats, with house textures like in "Passages" or "In other words", ambient rhythms
in "Evolution" or dub pulses like the one in "Convex" and "Woven feelings". A ride through the deep electronic by the hands of two masters of this genre.

The next EP on Moon Harbour is one that continues to usher in a new wave of contemporary
talent to the label. It finds Hector Cuartero hook up with wAFF, as well as contribute a solo
track, then get remixed by Patrick Topping and Hector Couto. It will be the Spaniard's second
release on the label following last year's Don't Kill My Vibe EP, a collaboration with Sabb,.

Cuartero has released on labels like Kittball as Noir and ViVA and is a revered producer and
selector of infectious and groove driven tech house. He has been a big hit at Sankeys Ibiza all
summer, whilst partner in crime here, wAFF, is a UK producer and DJ who has serve up bombs
on Cocoon and Hot Creations as well as being a resident at DC10. Remixer Patrick Topping
also releases on ViVA and one won two Ibiza DJ Awards this year, namely Best Newcomer and
Track of the Season, and finally Hector Couto is another Spaniard excelling in both the booth
and the studio right now.

First up is Cuartero & wAFF's groove driven 'Break A Sweat'. It is riddled with rich, round bass
and compelling, fluttering snares lines and tons of inventive, non-standard sounds. Various
spoken word and yelping vocals add a sense of party to the groove; whilst some trippy sounds
and kinetic drum fills add ever more energy to the sure-to-be anthemic track.

Hotter than hot Patrick Topping tackles the remix and does so by layering in a hooky bassline
that rolls and rolls forever. He also drops in fantastically dangling hands-in the-air melodies,
ravey sounds and bird calls and uses his filters expertly well to keep on pulling you further into
the track.

Cuartero then goes solo with 'Trouble in Paradise', a shuffling tech house track with muffled
voices, radiant synths and a gentle patter of toms that really makes your limbs get loose.
Perfectly constructed for places like the DC10 dancefloor, it also comes with a remix Hector
Couto that strips things back to a simple but effective boom bap groove, burrowing bassline and
infectious finger click pattern that will ignite any DJ set.

This EP bristles with character and proves that Moon Harbour is still the leader when it comes to
tech house, no matter who is making it for them.

Thallulah, William Medagli & Jose Maria Ramon join together to produce an EP of three tracks released on vinyl by the Italian Petra Beat Records. Gathering Soul' is an hypnotic journey through different kicks, grooves and melodies. The three tracks, Gathering for Love', 47 Raw 34' and Soul Jacker', make you move and leave your troubles behind. It's not a bad result at all, when it comes to electronic music.

A special and personal release for Verdant Recordings as label boss Andy Green curates some favourite producers onto a double pack of deep, melodic techno with dub overtones. Following releases on Guy J's Lost & Found Records and Gorje Hewek & Izhevski's Shanti Moscow Radio, Cornucopia makes his debut on the much loved Canadian imprint microCastle with 'Pursuit Of The Orange Butterfly'. The stunningly beautiful 'The Day You Got Older and Stronger' immediately got people talking, earning support from Lee Burridge, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and more. There's a pretty strong suspicion that Cornucopia isn't really a new face, and a release on Lost & Found is unlikely to put those suspicions to rest.

Cool but warm are the attributes that apply to what Carsten Rausch presents on the latest Acker release.

Originally released on Montreal's long defunct Intr_version label in 2001, Primordia was Scott Monteith's first foray into the album format, and some 13 years on serves as a remarkable document of the driving aesthetic touchstones which even at this early stage were bubbling to the surface and have gone on to define the sound of his Deadbeat project in the many years since. Over the course of 7 colossal slabs of crackling digital atmospheres and rumbling drone, a dirge of muted kick drums serve as the only steady anchor in a sea of wildly unhinged and naive sound experimentation, with the whole lovely mess plummeting into a endless cloud of decaying echos, granular processing, and cracked software reverb plugins. With it's production coinciding with the first years of his tenure at the Montreal based music software company Applied Acoustics systems, Primordia is the sound of the young dub Padawan reveling in the endless possibilities of modular software synthesis, and relishing each and every new discovery and mistake along the way.

Re-released on CD and for the first on lavish double vinyl with remastering by long time friend and cohort Stefan Betke aka Pole, Primordia is an essential cornerstone in Monteith's now vast catalog, and a must have addition to the collection of any serious dub techno historian.

Dark and futuristic playful mix of old and new sounds
Without a doubt, Manfredi Romano (aka DJ Tennis) is a busy man. Co-founder and partner of Life and Death, a DJ with a full schedule and someone who still always has his fingers (and mind) in multiple projects and multiple places at the same time. How he juggles it (or when he sleeps) are questions best not pondered. One thing those who know him well have surely noticed is that he does it all while constantly on the move. Unfazed by the constant whirl of cities that pass him by, he somehow manages to remain focused throughout. No matter where he goes, he somehow always manages to remain local.

The collection of tracks on this double EP reflects that. Conceived and written in different cities (Miami, Milan, London, Brooklyn, Berlin and Palermo), each track captures both something of the place of conception and something of Romano's relationship to it. Not a travelogue per se but more an emotional love letter to all these many places he calls home.

Whether it's the plaintive call of Lovechild (featuring The Rapture's Luke Jenner), the dark and futuristic journey of Floating Boy (Self Portrait), the playful mix of old and new sounds found in Williamsburg, the techno indie mix that is Ah! Isobel, the ethereal trip of Anatomy or the indie-rock love song from the afterlife called You Close My Eyes, all these tracks are diverse and yet distinctly derive from a singular mind and personality. It's as if it's not just a collection of music but rather an introduction to the personality of DJ Tennis himself.

Rounding out the release is an ecstatic remix of Anatomy by the elusive producer from Michigan known as North Lake and on the digital release is Shorts for Tiger, a song written in celebration of a friend lost too young. In fact, all of the songs here are deeply personal and this EP shows it, as Manfredi Romano welcomes you in to meet him.

Local will be released on double vinyl and in digital format with slightly different versions found between the two formats.

Staring through the mirror. Transmitting the former self. Kurt Baggaley uncovered a theme. A theme of the ages. A theme with no clear beginning, nor end. The British producer has made a monumental effort of capturing, bending the sequence, making it's frequencies audible for everyone to hear, for the select few to understand. A 13 minute manifestation that seems to be able to go on forever. Drifting away, time seems detached, reality becomes palpable and minds become entranced. Esoteric, arcane, inscrutable. This is your former self.

Moving far between audible dimensions, Nuno dos Santos has made his next move, lifting the veil of the new release on his Something Happening Somewhere. Enlisting Kurt Baggaley for this EP, with Maeve's the Drifter delivering a staggering remix of the epic opening piece called 'Former Self'. Taking the original arrangement and making it club-ready, the Drifter does exactly what's needed, and more. Being able to keep the emotive payload intact while giving it the dancefloor treatment is more than impressive. It's a triumph.

Completing the circle on the flip side is Kurt Baggaley himself with 'Far Between'. A succumbed, deep jam, again taking it's time to unveil it's true payload: a hidden arpeggio that will only be appreciated by those who take time to listen.

Dass Mathias Kaden durchaus weiß, wie eine gelungene Mix-CD auszusehen hat, stellte der Vollblut-DJ und House-Enthusiast bereits 2011 bei der Zusammenstellung der Groove-CD Nummer 40 unter Beweis. Watergate-Compilation bannte er Ende vergangenen Jahres schließlich erneut ein schlüssiges Set auf CD, das zeitgemäße Releases mit immergrünen Klassikern vereint und so auch in einer Samstagnacht in dem Spreeufer-Club sowie überall sonst funktionieren würde. Nicht zuletzt dank der drei darauf befindlichen exklusiven und zuvor unveröffentlichten Tracks von Rodriguez Jr, Marco Resmann und Christian Burkhardt. Die gibt es nun endlich auch auf Vinyl, erhältich über Freude Am Tanzen, gemacht für den Einsatz im Club oder auf den anstehenden Festivals und Open-Airs des Sommers. minimal morphed back into techno while leaving the question mark why the term minimal ever got invented. some originators like frankie knuckles or romanthony passed away, while others like larry heard just stopped to perform. 

in-between countless new artists appeared, twisted dance music with new perspectives on the old, and released their fresh ideas on even more countless labels out there in the void called music market. 

one of the rare platforms that stayed solid as a rock in all these years is mule musiq, the tokyo based label that spreads miscellaneous sound vibes that long from jazz to disco, house, and unobtrusive ambient since 2004. 

with a versatile artist roster consisting of producers such as henrik schwarz, lawrence, dj sprinkles, dj jus-ed, kuniyuki, eddie c, roedelius, or new kids on the blog like barnt or lord of the isles the japan based record company developed a status of her own for being one of the most free spirited organisations in contemporary music.

mule musiq's mastermind toshiya kawasaki once said in a rare interview. now he celebrates a ten years of freedom jubilee with the sixth instalment of his famed 'i'm starting to feel ok' compilation serial.  a real massive international anniversary celebration that is ventilating all what happened in the past ten years in order to form something that travels right into the future. and that is where mule musiq tries to be since a decade to tell some unheard musical stories that stay for good even when the future is long past.

Correspondant present the vinyl sampler for their 3rd label compilation. Following in the success of the previous two entries in the series, this latest edition provides a perfect snapshot of how the relatively young label has matured over three years, with contributions from a range of artists including big names (such as Roman Flügel and Chloe), close Correspondant family (like Man Power and Red Axes), and exciting new rising talent (including Bird of Paradise and Sigward).

With eight tracks, split over two records, Compilation 03 sees curator and label owner, Jennifer Cardini, displaying an even wider musical breadth than the previous two compilation incarnations, but still represents the undefinable yet unmistakable sound which truly marks out Correspondant as unique.

It was just a question of time to reach the point when Wayne considers himself to be the one to create a musical statement in order to show what he thinks about all the current status of some parts of the electronic dancemusic circus. He still suffers from too much so called 'minimal' in his eyes and he wants back the energy he is missing on many occasions... 'You know, techno without bass is like f...... without screwing him in...' Some might say he`s too late with this song, but that`s simply Wayne! In his universe the meaning of time is different to what we all would expect. Anyway, he finally checked out Garage Band on the Mac he recently "lended" from somebody he does not even know, and here we go with his first very own song. Lyrics in german only and heavily inspired by one of the biggest hits from the 80ies from the german cult-formation "Trio", but to make a long story short: it`s Wayne`s message that the so called "minimal" sound is definitely over now: "Always klick and always klack, I can not tell how much it sucks..."

A third Foundation chapter has begun, lucky to have on board a special friend for his first ever appearance. Four cuts have been sequenced somewhere in France during the previous year, in transmission towards a placid-robotic horizon expressed through broken drums and non linear grooves. A dose of saturated arrangements will be clearly experienced in this piece of work. 

Because Life's is a recollection of Momentz.

In fact, for a huge proportion of us, acid kicked off this sweaty, painful, yet incredibly fulfilling journey. The 2 originals by Dircsen utilize the 303 in different ways - the opener 'Beyond Collapsing Silence' sounds like an instant acid house classic with its energetic drums & dreamy atmosphere, whilst 'Depth Scan' slows it down, focusing more on hypnosis. Rounding off the 3-track EP is an idiosyncratic remix of 'Depth Scan' by L.I.E.S. legend, Florian Kupfer. A dubbed out original gets well and truly saturated.

Rico Casazza is an electronic producer, DJ & teacher, based in London. Having produced music for over 11 years, he has established a solid musical identity with releases on labels such as Soma, Archipel, Plastic City & Wiggle. Following his killer 'They Move Fast' EP on Beef last summer, we now welcome him back for his first 12" with us. The productions are unique but you can tell they are from the same magical Casazza signature...raw acidity, enslaving basslines and subtle percussion.

The EP kicks off at a measured pace with 'Yurican', whose self-assured acid line sits wonderfully alongside the track's reflective atmospheres. 'Argue' then evolves this acidic energy, still praying to the sky but pumping its fist higher than before....laying the patchwork for the final original on the 12", the euphoric dance floor obliterator, 'Macabre'. To finish, bringing your heart rate down with caution, Dirscen has provided a drugged out remix of 'End 2016'.

Kavalanic Languges number four comes from the discredited psychologist H. Russell-Ashe. A suite of hypnotic acid love songs, with the twisting 303 lines and hypnotic ~20 minute runtime of "Vanderbilt" causing serious dance floor psychosis, while the more even-keeled "Kivaaluun" coasts on a bubbling sea of snare drums and bass hits.

The perfect balance between spontaneous melodies and astonishing beats, the exact dose of freshness and the basic ingredients that you can only find in top classic techno and house tracks. This is what many producers look for when they get into the studio, but this vision isn't something you can force: you either have it or you don't, but you can't fake it.

Dj, producer and label owner, Joris Biesmans' new Rhythm Cult Records EP reflects this bright and pushing energy music only found in those who innovate without sounding pretentious. Based in Berlin, you will easily find Biesmans sets in city's main clubs, from Salon zur Wilde renate to Watergate or Chalet. You don't need to find his studio to discover what he's been recently on, just use your vinyl needle and enjoy Sunday Love, Step by Step and Steady Stabbin' without rushes. Be careful, no one will let you go home if you play one of Biesmans' tracks in a club.

Young Irish-producer Rebuke continues his rapid ascent to the top with two original productions on Hot Creations, primed and ready for the dancefloor.

Rebuke recalls being worried that Along Came Polly may have been perceived as being 'a bit too weird', but once it caught the attention of Jamie Jones, there was no stopping it. He says that the hype surrounding this EP 'is something I've never experienced before...and it always get a great reaction'.

On Along Came Polly, Rebuke showcases his innate ability to craft a weirdly, wonderful slice of techno. On the B-side, Rolo is a much housier affair, weaving together a bouncier bassline and sultry vocal stab.

The alias of Reuben Keeney, Rebuke, has only been in business for a short while, but his efforts have already proved to be fruitful. He has garnered support from the likes of Nic Fanciulli and released on labels including Saved and DFTD, as well as having a successful club night under his belt, where highly regarded names such as Camelphat, Darius Syrossian, Ejeca and Huxley have all played.

This is Glenn Storey's 2nd release on Jupiter Label which comes in the form of a four track EP on an exclusive purple vinyl limited to only 250 copies, across the four tracks the sound is Glenn's deep percussive house sound that has found its way into many a dj's selection over the last two years all across the UK, Ibiza and as far as South America.

"Wub yew" is a straight up club track with plenty of groove, built around a bassline and shuffling percussion and vocal. "Funk in the trunk" has a deep funk guitar bassline which drives the track along with a varied drum pattern which is held together with use of a trumpet and ride cymbal. "catacombs" is more of a slow burning affair with a rolling drum pattern and haunting sax breakdown. "nomaD" completes the four tracks with its quirky jazz samples.

Leading Berlin house label MOTHER RECORDINGS hits five years of age with the first EP of a three part Compilation anniversary release to mark the occasion. It features some of the core label members in MAT.JOE, NHAN SOLO, SUPERNOVA, ROBOSONIC and showcases the straight up house sounds Mother is so well known and loved for.

Lapsus Music bosses SUPERNOVA then offer up - The Loft which is an upbeat track with big synth stabs that are bright and shiny. It's one to get hands in the air and never lets up.
ROBOSONIC's - Spanked is another warm and heart felt house cut with silky drums and synths bringing deep flavours. Vocals, nice chords and cute samples fill the track with emotion and SUPERLOVER's - Time For House closes things down with more amped up house thanks to the loopy chords, bristling sense of energy in the vocals, and reversed stabs.
This is another full fat EP of essential and contemporary house sounds from one of the best labels in the game.

Ellum Black, the new sub-label of Maceo Plex's notorious imprint, focuses on the dark and intellectual side of techno. This second record instalment features Spanish producer Architectural. Following an EP on the main branch of the label in 2017, Juan Rico aka Architectural delivers 3 forward thinking cuts for this record.

Architectural is known for his detailed and magnetic productions and on 'A Girl With No Friends EP' he goes deeper into the hypnotic edge of his soundscape. The first track we hear 'Romanticism Movement' creates a statement for the vocabulary of sounds Rico used for this record such as low frequencies and deep grooves. The title track follows on the B-side with develops on these textures. Closing the trio 'Never Yours, Boy' finishes the EP with another variation of Architectural's romantic techno repertoire.

Originally released in 2014, Luciano's 'The Great Amael' is an enchanting and endearing trip; a lo-fi bubbling groove and dusted Hammond organs that hustle along whilst live percussion cuts through the oceanic atmospherics. Two years on, and Cadenza Music call upon a brace of remixers to provide fresh and unique interpretations of this hidden gem in Luciano's catalogue. Having recently released his first album in over 10 years, Matthew Dear AKA Audion boldly steps up to the mantle and stamps his intelligent techno sound all over 'Amael' in the first of our remixes. Cutting a sprightly pace from the off, Audion melts stuttering sine waves and bulging tones over concrete beats, tweaking in the original organ riff and fathoms deep pads whilst adding additional vocal refrains as he playfully teases the arrangement before dropping a superb riff in his 'Backward Melody' Remix, which takes a most psychedelic and unexpected twist! Two other musical heavyweights collaborate on the second of the remixes; Phil Moffa and Seth Troxler are no studio strangers, having released a joint project on the British Hypercolour label last year, and remixed for Tiga a few months back. Their LSOS LOVE/GOD Remix builds from ambient beginnings, save for a rhythm carved out of spongy electronics, a sturdy beat kicking in and setting the controls destination unknown, as the duo steer through breathy vocal cuts and propelling bass, stripping the remix back before leaping back into hyperspace with some adventurous and dubbed out vibes, before coming back down for landing with those unmistakable pads from Luciano's original.

'Moonshine Heater' is the debut release from Marlowe, a new studio and live project from Laurent Bovey (AKA Laps). The title track is a crisp and melodious piece, the mechanical groove bubbling with dubby FX and heavy synth shots against the hypnotizing melody. On the flip, 'My Minds Mine' comes in a darker shade, paranoid synth sweeps and a brassy analogue riff weaves around a minimal yet funky drum arrangement. Another great groove from Marlowe, and capturing that classic early Cadenza sound perfectly. Wrapping up the release is 'Power Plant', another detailed and precise mood piece, deep and unique, taking it's time to build and take effect. Marlowe does not deal with 'bomb tracks', these are sophisticated tracks for the more discerning music fan. Marlowe AKA Laurent Bovey has amassed an impressive catalogue of work since the mid-2000s, solo and as part of Digitaline. Releases on Cadenza, Smallville and Cityfox have set the standards for minimal electronic music.

Six years on from his debut album on Cadenza, Mirko Loko returns to the fold with a follow up album ("Comet Plan") and a single ("Kolor"). 2009's 'Seventynine' long player helped catapult Mirko's profile, not only as a producer, but also as DJ, regularly spinning alongside the Cadenza crew, and with Detroit luminaries such as Derrick May and Carl Craig. And it's on this single that Mirko invites friend and peer, Carl Craig, to remix under his C2 guise. Wearing his influences on his sleeve, Mirko is obviously indebted to the techno music of the Motor City, and these classic Detroit tropes are certainly used in the building blocks of the original mix of 'Kolor", a sprawling and pacey intergalactic journey sprinkled with a dusting of xylophones, bells & chimes, as the melody is driven forward for a heady trip across the night skies. On the flip, Planet E founder, and highly respected Detroit electronic producer, Carl Craig, weighs in with the first of a two-part remix (part two features on the digital release of the single). Keeping the 4/4 framework of the original mix, and stripping back the percussion somewhat, the C2 Remix Part One is brimming with Craig's trademark sound, from the elastic synths and flanged percs to the heavy low end line that comes in about two thirds of the way through. A perfect introduction to many of the aural treats in store on the 'Comet Plan' album out on Cadenza in May.

Future child of Paula Temple's Noise Manifesto, Decon/Recon puts strength and artivism into a new idea of scene. The first Decon/Recon release is planned on 20 April 2015, both vinyl in limited edition and digital. The brand new project is based on a new series of electronic dance music releases presenting a unique and libertarian approach to collaboration, production and dance floor action. It converges artists' samples in an open archive which is reassembled in four different tracks by the artists themselves. This project wants to put identity into a crisis by giving a collective authoriality and by letting all hierarchies collapse into a collective resonance who dares to become.
Decon/Recon is not just about new forms of self representation, the deconstructive process of the "artist" status in terms of superiority or the elaboration of new politically active business models but about composition as a scene and quality dance music at its best. The release will de/compose four future pioneers who responds to the names of Aquarian Jugsa new alias from Jam Rostron aka Planningtorock, rRoxymore, Oni Ayhun and Paula Temple herself as Jaguar Woman. The Releases' paratextual structure will play the same game. All artists shall be credited on the cover without authorial connections with the title of their own tracks exposing the listener, reader, dancer in to taking active part in the whole process.

The flamboyant and off-kilter title track from Rone's latest album, 'Mirapolis' is one of the last solo tracks that the producer composed in the spring of 2017: 'it's one of the rare tracks on the album for which I thought about the live performance. While putting the final touches to it in the studio, I imagined myself at festivals via memories of previous tours. I wanted to record a festive track, which completely stands by its 'funfair' vibe.' With this new four-track EP (including three remixes), combined with a new video by Aurélie Castex, Rone extends the carnival of electronic cultures of his latest musical citadel to the dancefloor - and our screens. Johannes Brecht, shadow craftsman of the Hamburg label Diyanamic's studios, offers a refined reading throbbing with cerebral pulsations. Appropriating the main theme in a subtle way, coated with multiple harmonic layers, his textures alternate white noise with organic basses that builds up to a delightfully classical cello outro. German-based figurehead of the South American scene, Comeme label boss and founding member of the late Closer Music project, Matias Aguayo, has never ceased throughout his career to set off little revolutions on the planet of demanding dancefloors. Playful and wild, Aguayo sweeps in with a ritornello of chiptune sounds and orchestral arrangements, washing it over with a huge wave of analog synthesizers that destroys everything in its path. French techno scene boss Laurent Garnier embraces the original piece in all its meticulousness and its psychedelic lifeblood.

ELLEN ALLIEN's work LISm is already being referred to as a milestone in the label's history: rarely has an album from the circle of BPC artists deviated so far from the club context as LISm. The label boss has radically disposed of all established musical templates and created space for 45 minutes of sonic experiments that lie well beyond any functional paradigm - a highly emotional soundtrack for one's "inner cinema", but also a creative process with a considerable fun factor.

A partnership of epic proportions is about to go down. Josh Wink, an artist known for crafting some of the finest house and techno tracks of all time is joining forces with Boysnoize Records, leader on the global scene for over a decade. Tying your techno in knots, Josh Wink's 'Shoelaces EP' is set for release.

Josh Wink is a master at Acid Techno (Just listen to classics like 'Don't Laugh' and 'Lumpy Oatmeal') so he's right in his wheelhouse on the Acid Mix of 'Shoelaces.' Throbbing electro rhythms and those signature acid squelches define this mix, with the notch turned up another degree on the circuit board for the Dub Mix.The package follows with a cut from Finnish producer Mono Junk, who offers a more stripped down take on 'Shoelaces.' Mono Junk's remix is raw yet no less in tense, providing the EP with its dark corner. Out of the cultural hive of Los Angeles follows Truncate. For the all out banging, hammering techno fans, Truncate's mix is a winning bet. Peak time, over the edge and bathed in acid.

Art-aud is thrilled to present you a big thing. Its been in the work for a while, a project collaboration with the historical Italian label, Interactive Test. Founded in '91 from the crazy minds of the two brothers Franco and Riccardo Falsini, it was one of the first real underground imprints to born in Italy and to propose an innovative sound at the time, that soon after exploded all over the world more and more. With almost 40 releases done in a few years, the two brothers have really created an empire, a stronghold in the hills of the belle Florence. Astronaut Music welcomes Obrotka for a new track thatches backed with an excellent reshape from Vince Watson. The artist hails from Hungary and as well as his own radio show has played all over Europe. He has worked in record shops since the 90s, too, so has a fine knowledge of what it takes to make an essential track.

His Taurus in Sevilla is an organic deep and dubby track for the heads. It has deft sound designs, loose percussion that is colourful and alive and great trumpet sounds. The whole thing makes you want to shake your body and get down.
Scottish producer Vince Watson then remixes and strips things back so that the groove is more prominent. The resulting drums roll on and on and embellished with great synths, magical chords and overall has a spine tingling atmosphere that is richly detail and truly emotional.

Chilean Tempura Records and Aires Music owner Pablo Inzunza arrives on JWB with a quality EP following releases on Highgrade Records, 8 bit, Bla Bla and Little Helpers to name but a few.

Una Sombra is a slow-building slice of tribal-tinged techno, driven by bolshy tom throbs and a menacing, discordant arpeggio rhythm. Layer upon layer of snapping percussion and atonal stabs are built up as the track progresses, taking it from humble beginnings to a more intense crescendo.

Lukas Simmer (Bla Bla / Wrong State) delivers a deeper remix, all whirring synth FX and the slightest of percussion creating an infectious minimal groove as sub drops envelop the track. Aldo Cadiz (Desolat / VIVa / JETT) amps things up a little on his rework, honing in on the tribal element with a rhythmic bassline and organic percussion hits (cowbell, anyone), letting hectic cymbal rides and shuffling hi-hats bring the energy.

B-side Luminia is another exemplary workout. As with the title track, he keeps proceedings to around the five-minute mark, making for a succinct and deadly weapon. A gnarly, acidic bassline growl filters into play gradually with menacing intent, weaving in and out of the superbly hip-shaking percussive groove and warped vocal FX until white noise blasts and reverbs heighten the atmosphere further.

The circus has been in town for years, now it's time to move on. But before we say goodbye, clear the ring please for one last demonstration of Bremen dancefloor madness. A fire ring of tracks by all acrobats and clowns from Drowned Records is ready to infest the record bags of deejays worldwide one very last time. Saturday Dive by Giash was definitely our first pick for the first track on this release. We have been following this amazing producer for some time and we are really glad to have him on our label.
Klavier by Gri perfectly sits beside our opening track. With smooth atmospheres and laid back drums it really gives that calm feel and is perfect for those early morning sets.
Stratocumuli by Oneee stands strongly on our b side, with a bit more freakish vibe, but nicely rounded up by dreamy pads and spacey sounds.
Riser by Vincent Casanova is the final track on our fourth vinyl release. Another track filled with really nice and smooth atmospheric pads, accompanied by breaky drums and mystic voices.
