'Familly Matters Vol.1 is a 5 track EP that counts as the start of a new series on the 9300 Records imprint. Things start off with the aptly named "Ignition", a piece of straight up peaktime techno. Overdriven 909 beats, an infective synth hook and the name-giving tripped out vocals are sure to quickstart any party.

Decay Records ready there next release 'Night Melodies EP' from Italian Federico Grazzini,

A wobbly synth line opens 'Late Night Melodies' alongside thumping kicks and robust percussion before
Federico switches up the feel of things opting for the aqueous sounds of 'Sampling Myself', which edges

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris'  showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist. 

In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. Low-pounding subs sets 'Wide Eyes' menacing tone from the very start, filtering gradually a range of rumbling low-end synths against a punchy drum pattern. Slow warbling synths slowly build into the tracks main attraction; Nessi, who offers a raw and chilling vocal display that floats you effortlessly into the early hours.

A labour of love and friendship, the Camila EP contains two finely-worked originals. The slow, loping, scratchy 'JnD' is a collaboration with close friend Jürgen von Krebs that brings to mind STL and Theo Parrish in its interlocking simplicity and off-key accents. 'Ricky G. (Soulmate Mix)' is a smoother, more wistful glide, paying tribute to the lady in St. Joseph's life. Finally, Giegling-affiliated dreamer Edward provides his own psychedelic take on 'JnD', twisting the synth line through a battery of live percussion samples and analog bass. Dusty, wonky, raw, musical - words synonymous with the great 3 Chairs, but totally apt for describing St. Joseph's growing discography on Lisbon-based imprint Assemble Music.

A project 18 months in the making, Marcel Fengler presents a IMF10, an astonishing three part compilation series detailing the past, present and future of his label Index Marcel Fengler.

After a big period of change in the career of label head Marcel Fengler throughout 2016 that naturally involved IMF, it's time to distill the label's vision in sonic form. IMF10 is a collection of exclusive originals and remixes created by some of electronic music's most skilled producers, alongside contributions from rising talents who are set to shape the direction of the label for years to come.

Split into three parts to be released throughout the first half of 2018, each volume consists of six tracks and encapsulates a different tone, highlighting not only the versatile sonic constellation of the label, but also the breadth Fengler enjoys exploring in his DJ sets.

Part one explores deeper and more hypnotic territory, as the legendary Alva Noto makes his debut for IMF re-working the Fengler classic 'Sphinx' into a spaced-out industrial beast. DIN, the collaborative project between Fengler and Efdemin reaps an atmosphere-heavy new production titled 'Akustikkoppler'. Scuba also contributes courtesy of his SCB project, crafting a tripped-out interpretation of Somewhen's 'Dain' from IMF05. Elsewhere close friends Matrixxman (in collaboration with rising producer Riccardo Limiti) and Lucy, also join the project crafting powerful and timeless originals. Always with an eye on the future, Fengler drafts in emerging Slovenian talent Blaukoma, who impresses with the pulsing, tension-packed 'Iris Pattern'.

A new entry to the catalog this time with the pumping beatz of our Japan made House Maestro Yusuke Yamamoto (Canary Recordings / Minuendo Recordings) for the front side thus proper deep chords and TechHouse feelings compositions for the harder hours of club night dancing suit best for "No Signal" and the vocal anthem driven "Need You Now".
On the Other side we found Nicolas Diez timeless "Amazonia", a soulful dance track encouraged with romantic vocals that soothe our inner being. Last but not least Martin Bellomo (MyHouse YourHouse / Thema / Momentz Records) and Diez Collaboration takes form in the minimal deep tune called "Algorhythm", straight up dub oriented beats with a minimal house timbres.

Swiss production wizard Andrea Oliva returns to Hot Creations this October with a solid three-track EP that oozes a fierce and fiery rhythm.

Title track Upside Down fires up the EP from the off with its growling bassline and elements of glitchy goodness. Piano Not Piano juxtaposes hi-hats against the thud of the industrial bass, adding piano chords and a drop of acid. The EP closes with Sound Like That, a groovy roller with a distorted vocal stab. Discussing the EP, Andrea explains that he wanted to 'have influences of acid, house and techno, supported by solid grooves', also revealing that he is 'very happy to be back on the label with three diverse tracks'.

A mainstay on the White Isle and with appearances at Tomorrowland, Sunwaves, Sonus, Medusa, Kappa Futur and DGTL, Andrea Oliva is one of the industry's most in-demand DJs. In 2016 he was invited by Radio 1's Pete Tong to record a coveted Essential Mix, which was live from Ushuaia. Last year he also made his Boiler Room debut, as well as performing Mixmag's Lab and DJ Mag sessions. He's released on respected imprints such as Desolat, Knee Deep In Sound, Saved, Moon Harbour and Relief and has remixed for a plethora of high-profile artists. Now with this latest Hot Creations release, Oliva's career shows no sign of slowing down.

For the second time this year, Moon Harbour welcome back the talented Emanuel Satie for a striking solo EP.

The Berlin-based DJ and producer has built up a solid catalogue of house and tech cuts since 2011. Doing so on labels like Get Physical and DFTD, he has really found his own infectious style, and one that fits in perfectly with the always forward-facing Moon Harbour label. Across two tidy tracks here he again offers the sort of high impact tunes that DJs and dancers always respond to.
The playful 'One Love' is first and has meaty kick drums reverberating down low. Whirring machines and tribal vocal sounds bring a sense of fun, while the pitter patter of jangling bongos float up top between humid jungle sounds. It's a steamy, pumping track to kick start any set.

'The Culture' is brilliantly unhinged, with drunken synths skewed and stretched in all directions. Warm sub envelops things from below and the loopy, silky groove cannot fail to hook you in as the synths freak you out up top.

These are two masterfully fun and functional tunes to bring real character to the club.

* Jon Gurd's Birth Right EP is the first material from the Portsmouth based Techno producer in more than 2
years since his ventures on Octopus recordings, 8 Sided Dice and Quartz. The EP therefore indicates an
audible step change not just in the approach to production but also in the mindset and emotive feeling
behind each texture and layer. Having emerged unscathed from a traumatic family related drama Jon
communicates a tortuous and re-evaluated life message across all 3 tracks, and is dedicated to his brother
with a hidden meaning conveying, Tomorrow Is - Promised - To No One'.

* Dissecting the EP further the educated are blessed with field recordings, analogue rumbling and modular
synthesis exiting from almost 24 months of lab driven experimentation. No real process has been applied or
extant formulae followed and the EP's resounding success is that this now exudes what Jon feels' innately
rather than what the industry wants, therefore the journey, endless noise making and experimentation gives
a balanced and exciting offering. Jon comments seriously my process for producing this has been all over
the place, literally stumbling on shit, slipping over my own creative vomit, workflow went out the studio
window on day one'.

* Having spent two years asking himself why he makes music, I think on first listen of Birth Right EP we will all begin to empathise why. Remixes kindly provided by Messrs Dave Clarke and Ancestral Voices (new project from Liam Blackburn formerly Indigo / Akkord).

* A long time-friend and recording partner of Alan Fitzpatrick, as well as one third of Mister Woo with Dave from Reset Robot, Jon Gurd is best known for his work on the likes of Octopus Recordings, 8 Sided Dice and Quartz. Abundant with field recordings, analogue rumbling and modular synthesis, his latest signing to Derelicht is a result of almost 24 months of lab driven experimentation, and marks an auspicious return from a musical hiatus that stemmed from a personal tragedy. From the off, 'Tomorrow Is' is a driving piece of techno complete with sinister undertones and menacing atmospherics, meanwhile 'Promised' focuses on a low-slung groove as tantalising synths operate on top. The last original, 'To No One', then exhibits a deeper vibe with ebbing pads and spectral chords. For its third release, Sensoramic turns to New York minimalist and renowned modular artist, Kamran Sadeghi. Fresh from releasing on key techno imprints Meander, Brouqade, Fasten Musique and Cocoon, he finishes a strong year with an exceptional three tracker. Lead track Undone suspends time for a twelve minute lesson in modular hypnotism, twisting its way through various chapters and subtle, naggingly hooky melodic passages with the interlude of a deftly placed riser. Sentient takes an alien vocodor style sound through a tense peak time work out while 'Not Here' runs a dense droning pad through a gamut of minimally applied drums and modular noises.

The fourth instalment on DGTL Records is an EP by Satori, who delivers a record with three tracks that all bear his signature sound. This will be the first EP he releases after Maktub, his well-received album on Crosstown Rebels. Compared to the album, the EP is more dance floor orientated and thus right in time for the summer festival season.

Satori has been part of the DGTL family for a few years already and with this release his connection with the family will become even stronger. Satori is inspired to capture electronic world music, where he combines endless blends of seductive trance and mind-altering earthy tones. This resonates through all his music and even more so through this release.

The first track on the a-side is Fauna, an organic, melody driven arrangement with mesmerizing vocals and playful synths. This combination of layers gives the track an almost hypnotizing effect. The second one is called Yam, which makes it the title track for this EP. It's an homage to an identical named festival in Mexico, hosted by a dear friend of Satori. It's like a soundtrack for the festival, seen through Satori his eyes, something with which he could close the party. Containing several layered atmospheric harmonies and a more present bassline, the track has a grandeur vibe that can easily be pictured as a great festival closer.

The b-side contains a remix of a track by the French producer Sahalé, who actually sent Satori a message online asking for the possibility of working together. He sent him the track Magharibi, which has been a humble internet sensation. Satori made a version that has been a key element in his live sets ever since. It keeps all the interesting elements of the original, but twists the bassline and the arrangement, while adding a few smaller soundscapes. Tried and tested on the road, it's now ready for a release.

thatmanmonkz graces Classic with his psychedelically grooving 'Ooh Wee' on 12', this time enlisting SoulPhiction and Norm Talley on remixing duties. Remaining true to his Detroit house and 90s boom bap influences, the title track holds a soft analogue crackle and bass loops tied together with delicate keys and soul vocals by Nikki-O. SoulPhiction's Nervös Mix is a production in two parts, leading with synth lines on deep and intense keys then ascending into disco glory. Detroit DJ Norm Talley takes a classic house approach with piano riffs and sharp hi-hats, adding another edge of genuine old skool sound to this release.

Sardinian born, Berlin based producer Hubble is known to create implicitly ethereal moods. His way to keep people off guard as well as making a musical commitment through long excursion is unique to him. On this EP titles "La Rencontre" (eg. Meeting), he crosses paths with his Romanian friend Tulbure. Somehow managing simultaneous dissonance and concretion; 'La Rencontre' could be the soundtrack to both your birth and death. It is a boxer who's mastered the ring, and punch by punch you realize that it has you beat, but you are happy to wave a white flag and succumb to its presence.

The space in which the EP operates in is 360 degrees, tempos throb and the listener is transported to total darkness. Your only wish post listening, will be that you don't have to come back to the world.



Tulbure's track Condor is more of a mindcluster robotic swing that leaves you muted. While both tracks work together, this release is meant to be two variables of parallel worlds of these talented artists.

Up next on Phonica's main label we present Harrison BDP's 'Life Unlimited' 12'. Over the past few years Harry has burst onto the scene with a prolific run of releases for labels such as Lost Palms, Piff and Music Is Love, displaying a wide-ranging sonic palette whether it falls under classification as house, techno, electro, garage... or whatever else he turns his hand to! The 12''s lead track 'Life Unlimited' starts off as a euphoric italo-flavoured piano-house banger before breaking down into a bleep-tastic middle and back again. It hits all the right spots and will no doubt tick all the boxes for DJs looking for a sure-fire peak-time jam!
On the b-side the music takes a deeper turn with the immaculately produced dub-techno of 'Fish In The Tank' which is then followed by the stunning uk garage inspired 'It's All Good' - this one gets seriously under your skin! It's rare for a producer to nail such a variety of different styles on a single record, yet we feel this 12' truly underlines Harry's versatility yet still displaying his signature sound. Three very different tracks, all recognisably Harrison BDP.

The first LP release for connected comes from Nandu and as with his previous EP releases the LP is a unique genre crossing palette containing elements from Deep House,House,AfroHouse,Electronic Techno and beyond brought together in Nandus' original style. Truly an LP that begs to be listened to from start to finish. In Nandus' own words: 'One mans high can truly be, another mans anxiety. In some parts of life this is very clear like having a baby, do drugs, to work, not to work, be an artist, be a banker and so it continues. Yin & Yang and the whole idea of duality is another way to describe this. When you go left you say goodbye to right - at least for the moment you choose left. What you choose is up to you. It wasn't always my dream to get up at 3pm to change diapers, but it was always my dream to have a family. And here the sacrifice is not even mentionable. It's more than worth it. But when you sometimes in life make a choice that you regret but which always will follow you, or when uncontrollable powers force you into another direction, it can easily switch the poles between high and low. In these cases you just have to look forward, but not without looking back. You need to learn, take it with you, and do better next time. This album is about how my highs also can be my anxieties."

Here we see San Proper and The Mole make a welcome return to the imprint following solo EP's, this time they join forces with Hreno for a three track EP from the powerhouse trio.
Leading on the package is 'Friendly Tears' which features yet another leading figure in the house scene, Dekmantel regular Tom Trago, as you'd expect from such an impressive array of artists we're treated so soul drenched house driven by swinging organic drums, infectious funk licks and hooky synth lines before the 'Chunkless Mix' strips things back a little, laying focus solely on the 80's tinged synth work, delayed vocal murmurs and
minimalistic percussion.'On The Floor' then rounds out the package, retaining a similar aesthetic with choppy guitar melodies, penetrating bass stabs, crunchy rhythms and resonant arpeggio synths ebbing and flowing dynamically throughout.

Label-head JAMES KUMO brings three original cuts to his KMusic imprint with Plan B co-founder DJ SPIDER on remix duties. Title track 'Drifter' kicks things off as celestial pads swell alongside rumbling sub bass and ethereal arpeggios before off-kilter synths and rugged industrial drums are presented by New York's DJ Spider who steps up to deliver a darker and more dramatic aesthetic with his interpretation.
Next, 'Evolution' sees Kumo utilise stereo delayed chord stabs as underpinning pads create an ethereal feel. Rounding off the package, 'Spectro Jazz' sees a brooding top line resonating alongside jazz-infused atmospherics and subtle background effects to create a raw, refined and hypnotic finish to the release.

Dixon gave his personal touch to LCD Soundsystem's 'I Used To' on the A side. B side features a previously digital only version of 'Pulse'.

Renown names of the Lisbon scene, they are Involved in different projects such as parties and record label « Bloop » in the case of Magazino and Frenzy Music for Pegro Goya. With big pleasure 8bit founders Gorge & Nick Curly welcome legendary british dj globetrotter Danny Howells on their label. And even after a rather long release break, Danny knows how to create magic, not only behind the decks but also behind his studio gear.

Following on from David Morales' appearance on the label earlier this year, Rekids tap up Shed and Ryan Elliott for a pair of percussive reimaginations. Well known for remixes of the Thompson Twins, Shawn Christopher, Clive Griffin and the Pet Shop Boys, Morales' Red Zone moniker was conceived during the Def Mix legend's formative years at the renowned club sharing the same name.
50 Weapons and Monkeytown's Shed adopts his Head High alter ego for a remix that draws the original's vocals into the spotlight before planting thunderous kick drums beneath whilst dusty pads operate above. Meanwhile, Ostgut Ton affiliate Ryan Elliott crafts a reimagination that incorporates breaky percussion, a rumbling low end and sweeping astral synths.

Continuing its conversation between the foggy environs of the Pacific Northwest and NYC's thriving dance underground, Blankstairs is thrilled to announce its newest release, Dream City's Forward, a collaboration between S. Deelay and C. Perez (head of PDX's consistently innovative Pastel Voids imprint).

The project marks an impressively focused exchange for the pair, mixing the deep atmospherics of Perez's Metropol project with the raw eclecticism and crate-digging expertise of Deelay's Insane Deelay handle. Having first met several years prior in Portland, the pair has collaborated on and off for several years, including a 2014 release on Pastel Voids, a throbbing, smoke-stained cassette that charted fertile ground for future work. Since then, the pair has followed their respective paths on opposite sides of the Atlantic in recent years, while maintaining a fertile dialogue between their evolving styles and musical vocabularies, one that sees a natural point of convergence on Forward.

The record serves as an exercise between each artist's honed approach to both DJing and live production, twisting the grooves and functionality of classic jack tracks and bass tunes through a haze of processed electronics and swirling, multi-textured arrangements. Lead cut, Down 2, for instance, spins fragments of classic Chicago acid through an abstracted cloud of synth swells and pulsing bass, while Hopeful Visions slows the pace down, allowing snippets of chopped vocal sampling and swirling pads to pair off against a thudding main figure. These are workouts exploring both patience and density, drawing on the pair's sense of development and progression to create engrossing, evolving final products that mark a fittingly deep expansion of the pair's ongoing collaboration, and each artist's solo work in turn.

The record features four tracks from the project, alongside a properly misted out, deconstructed re-work of Hopeful Visions by Max McFerren, and an added, digital-only bonus featuring Perez's Metropol take on Down 2.

Following their recent remix of KiNK's 'Perth' for Running Back, 17 Steps bosses Dusky present their first original productions of 2018 in the five-track Aset Forever EP.

Aset Forever is named in tribute to Jan Francis, a friend of Nick & Alfie who tragically lost his life late last year. Founder of the ATG graffiti crew and School Records (alongside Loefah) - Jan was responsible for Dusky's first London gigs both at ATG Warehouse parties and their Staunch residency at Corsica Studios.

Covering hard synth driven grooves, tranced-out Italo, proggy techno and blissed out breakbeat house, the five track EP keeps things strictly dancefloor focused - again showcasing the duo's unique ability to take a myriad of influences and wrestle them into new hybrids that sound their own.

Lead track 'Amongst The Gods' has been a standout across their sets this year. Taking shuffling breakbeat house rhythms, classic sunrise melodies and 90s rave vocals, it builds to an understated but infectious warehouse crescendo. The EP swiftly moves onto 'The Ace' - Striking at 130 BPM, 'The Ace' is a hard hitting surge of twisted sonics and clipped rave samples. A dark slab of warehouse tech, 'Staunch' follows, with rolling Reese basslines, 'ecstasy' samples and eerie sci-fi chords.

The second half of the EP sees Dusky take things deeper. 'Angles' is a blissed out wash of Detroit techno stabs and vintage house textures, before 'The Captain' rounds off the EP with punchy Italo basslines and icy synths.

Helmut Ebritsch is best known for his work as one half of Klartraum, alongside partner in crime Nadja Lind as well as for his work as Hatikvah with vocalist Florian Schirmacher. Now he is serving up a first vinyl extract of his full-length album under his own name, the stunning 'Souls Transmitting' that proves his wide-ranging studio skills have no bounds.

UNCAGE founder Marco Faraone debuts on Rekids, dropping four techno cuts on the label's Special Projects series this March.

The Italian producer has had a busy few years touring North America, South America and Europe, not to mention dropping releases on labels like Ovum and Tenax Recordings. Meanwhile his UNCAGE imprint, which he runs alongside Norman Methner, has quickly cemented a reputation for quality house and techno; releasing music from artists like Eduardo De La Calle, Pablo Mateo and Fabio Della Torre (under his Corcos moniker).

With its rolling percussion and a heady spoken word sample, 'Find The Song' introduces a quintessential Rekids record. Thunderous kick drums and piercing stabs then form the high-octane 'Arcane' before the dark and ominous 'Justice' demonstrates industrial elements and floating atmospherics. Tying it all together, tantalizing melodies join echoing effects for the final track titled 'Layers'.

UNCAGE founder Marco Faraone makes his second appearance on Rekids with a massive vocal cut entitled 'On My Way', featuring a remix from 50Weapons and Hyperdub's Addison Groove.

The Italian techno producer had an active year touring in 2017, dropping only one release on Tenax Recordings. However, 2018 is already proving to be one of his busiest on the production front, with releases appearing on Rekids Special Projects, On Edge Society and his own label UNCAGE, not to mention forthcoming appearances on Gigolo and Avotre. He now returns to Rekids with his biggest sounding record yet.

With its infectious vocal, rolling kicks and off-beat hats, it is undeniable that 'On My Way' is destined to become one of this year's most recognisable club tracks. On the flip, Bristolian producer and Swamp 81 affiliate Addison Groove has produced an intricate remix featuring a cacophony of percussion as a stuttering low-end joins chilling synths. Finally, Faraone concludes the package with a 'Dub Acid Rework', losing the vocals whilst incorporating heady 303 licks.

As the title suggests, Rejuvenate marks a rebirth for South London musician Paul White. Abandoning sampling altogether, White wrote, played and produced all of Rejuvenate's music himself, and the result is an album of playful, psychedelic pop.

It would have been far easier for White - previously described as a 21st century DJ Shadow, often compared to Madlib and best known as Danny Brown's go-to producer - to construct an album of loop-based, hip-hop-orientated beats. Instead, taking an ambitious left turn, he worked on honing his songwriting and instrument playing abilities and embarked on creating a totally original record worthy of sitting alongside those he'd usually sample.

Rejuvenate's broad sonic palette includes cosmic rock, ambient, electronic, jazz, folk and more. Retaining a groove-heavy, psychedelic aesthetic throughout, White successfully melds these various influences in to his most cohesive, fully-realised offering yet.

Paul White is joined on this sonic trip by a trio of likeminded souls; British-Jamaican singer Denai Moore adds heartwarming, crystalline vocals to the aptly named Set The Tone and See Through, Zimbabwean musician and poet Shungudzo (aka Shun) shares nuggets of wisdom on Spare Gold and dreamy, melting vocals for Ice Cream Man. White reunites with his sister, Sarah Williams White, and the pair draw on childhood memories for Laugh With Me and All Around.

Paul White's previous output includes a treasure trove of mostly instrumental solo records, plus collaborations with Charli XCX, Jehst, Homeboy Sandman, Guilty Simpson, Jamie Woon, Obongjayar, Eric Biddines (as Golden Rules) and Open Mike Eagle. More recently, White reconnected with frequent collaborator Danny Brown, producing most of the Detroit rap maverick's mind-blowing Atrocity Exhibition album.

Matt Edwards and multifaceted artist Patrick Mason team up as SRVD with debut release entitled 'ELEVATE' dropping on Rekids this August. Whether as Radio Slave or his various other monikers, Matt Edwards is one of electronic music's most consistent and innovative artists. Ever since his early reinterpretations of Kylie Minogue and New Order, Edwards has continually commanded respect as a producer and in-demand remixer, whilst as a label owner his Rekids imprint is undoubtedly one of house and techno's most influential platforms.
Meanwhile, Patrick Mason continues to conquer the fashion world; a devout club kid and gifted creative turning heads as an outstanding art director, illustrator and model, whose extensive artistic talents include a unique and compelling voice destined for dancefloors.SRVD's story begins when the pair met in Panorama Bar, which soon led to Edwards and Mason hanging out at the studio and later evolved into improvised performances in Berlin's club scene and beyond. 'ELEVATE' perfectly captures the raw spirit and vibe of their live show, with whispering vocals ushering in precision kicks and piercing stabs until Mason's mesmerising voice comes fully into play.An homage to the New York vogue scene and a huge hit at Panorama Bar - where the pair have set the house on fire with three unannounced shows so far this year - 'NASTY' is a syncopated, bass-driven monster of a cut complete with infectious claps and metallic effects.

The Accidental Jnr label has just passed it's second birthday mark... so at 2 years and 15 releases in it only seems appropriate for the next 12' release to come from the artist that kicked the label off and has made it his home for the past 2 years... Bambooman, with a remix from label boss Matthew Herbert himself on the b-side. The track can really speak for itself as this one is something special for the dancefloor, the only difficulty is choosing which version to play...

Matt Edwards' reissue label R-Time Records presents 'After Dark' this September with three tracks from Mark The 909 King.

Following reissues of excellent music by Sir Lord Commix, FBK and Sanasol (Thor & Yagya), Rekids offshoot R-Time Records now presents definitive cuts from Mark The 909 King. Debuting with the timeless 'Can You Dig It!' on Sex Trax in '94, the producer went on to release via a number of New York house legend DJ Duke's labels throughout the mid-nineties. A huge fan of DJ Duke since the 90s, Matt Edwards even held a Sex Mania night at Berghain in 2009 featuring a rare DJ performance from the Duke himself.

Alongside tracks by Roy Davis JR and Trackman (Jon Cutler), 'After Dark' featured as part of a VA release on the label DJ Exclusive, whilst 'Into Space' landed on Rated X Records, and 'The Loft' appeared on the 'Can You Dig It' album via Power Music Records.

'After Dark' set the tone of the package with a piercing drum groove, airy arpeggios and a funky bassline, before cosmic synths and crunchy snares work alongside scintillating chords in 'Into Space.' Concluding the package, 'The Loft' begins with a hooky bass sequence and filtered effects before soothing melodies come into play.

Optimo Music presents a 5 track EP & also a debut release from Nashville's Stranded, including a remix of title track 'Celine's Dilemma' by RSD, aka Rob Smith of Smith & Mighty fame.

Despite hailing from Nashville, Stranded has a longing appreciation for the dance centric cities throughout the world whether it be Detroit, Manchester or Berlin, hence the moniker. Alienation, romantic rendezvous, 9 to 5 unease, and an apprehension of the future are just a few of the topics that surface on the debut EP, Celine's Dilemma, on Optimo Music. Sweeping and droning synths, jagged guitars, rolling bass, yearning and weary vocals, and disco beats propel the music and ideas showcased in the project. While using the backdrop of post punk, disco, and synth pop the music is a sonar call to places where people are gathering, working, and dancing.

The product of a songwriting duo in the rich tradition of Tiga/Hulkkonen and Tiga/McCartney, "Stay Cool" marks a return of sorts to the classic Tiga sound, which is now the modern Tiga & Clarian sound. The kinda-underground acid techno grooves and magnanimously biting lyrics paint a picture so contemporary it threatens to make you live in the moment for the rest of your life.

What began organically with Clarian contributing material and production to Tiga's 2016 No Fantasy Required LP has evolved into a contractually-mandated partnership. Having already worked with the likes of Jamie Principle, Felix Da Housecat and Guy Gerber, the Montreal-born musician is no stranger to "the hot collab," but was still taken aback by the rigorously enforced freedom he enjoyed during the "Stay Cool" sessions. "Tiga will be the first to tell you he has no ego in the studio, and in my experience that is the absolute truth," says Clarian. "Every idea I have, every part I write, we split the credit right down the middle."

"Stay Cool" is a real-time disintegration of the boundaries between Tiga's public passion for music and his private obsession with digital entertainment currencies like Quarthonium Bronze and LavaBucks. "It occurred to me that what I could not stop myself from doing - typing 'HOLD YOUR POSITION' over and over in my crypto group chat - also served as an apt illustration of my heroic lifelong wrestling match with the idea of cool. "You're So Special" emerged from the songwriting team sitting around the drum machine in shirtsleeves with a pot of piping-hot coffee, waiting for piping-hot inspiration to strike. The lyrics ably grapple with the now, openly wondering about the direction of bleeding-edge compassion. "You see it everywhere, from airport bookstores stocked with variations on The Art of Not Giving a Fuck to airline pilots taking time off to work on themselves mid-flight," hectors Tiga, wagging his finger for needed emphasis. "I don't pretend to have all the answers, but what I also don't pretend to have is patience for those who pretend to do."

Curating their second release on the newly established independent imprint TAU, the Adana Twins are keen to support the best
up-and-coming talent from a saturated DJ/Producer market. The second release showcases yet another rising star; Paris-based,
Romanian born - BOg.
BOg first broke onto the electronic music landscape after being signed to John Digweed's 'Bedrock Records'. 12-years down the
line he's released on Dixon's Innervisions & Solomun's Diynamic, BOg is a constant in the record bags of DJs across the globe.
Drawing strong influences from bands and artists such as Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, Aphex Twin or The Chemical Brothers,
BOg's 'Terra EP' has an evident other-worldly feel.
Innellea returns to TAU002 this time on remix duties, remixing 'Terra' and further cementing his position as a core artist on TAU.
The B-side remix of 'Jahar' comes from Mathias Schober, chosen for the Adana Twins love his sound design and aesthetic, the
producer delivers a remix rounding off the solid 'Terra' EP.

British born, Berlin based singer songwriter, Cameron James Laing steps up for an outing on Suara. The original, 'Her', is an emotive and enchanting mixture of soulful vocals, acoustic guitars and swelling strings, beautifully produced and expertly executed.
Roman Poncet then flips the original into a bumping, breaksy, glitched out roller, twisting and manipulating Cameron's vocals to add a further dimension to the mix.On the B side Prins Thomas brings his trademark Scandanavian touch to 'Her' edging the tempo up and anchoring the song to a dynamic bass, alongside echoing out elements of the guitar and strings to create a version that wouldn't be out of place on the Balaeric Islands.
Closing out the e.p. Peter Pardeike takes you back to the club, placing a rhythmic arp and weighty stabs behind a pounding kick and crisp hats, to provide a big room version of Cameron's original.
