Hailing from Brunswick, Melbourne, James and Peter Isaacs are the brotherly duo Donald's House. They've been making music for around eight years. Without fail, every lunch time when making music, they'll go to Sesame & Soul on Lygon St and order a cheese pie and zaatar bread. James usually orders a coke zero as well. This EP here is a collection of tracks written over a three year period. There's a seven year age gap between the two. Pete got James into dance music by taking him to one of his parties that featured Pearson Sound and Mark Pritchard. After that, they started making music together. James is a trained Jazz guitarist, while Pete has been buying and playing records for about 15 years. They've released two tracks with Sydney label Ken Oath. One on their debut sampler and one on their ambient tape. They previously lived in London, where they regularly attended CDR. This is where they met the dj Iona, who was the catalyst for the whole release and a mutual friend of theirs and Nick Ho¨ppner. Taking influence from Paradise Garage styled disco, early 90s House, Italo and anything with a DMX drum kit, their take on dance dance music is as refreshing as it is familiar. You'll often hear M1 solos, chords and stabs, juxtaposed against Phil Collins styled stadium drums, and groovy Seinfeld basslines that just beg your body to move.

POINTS OF INTEREST: - Taking influence from Paradise Garage styled disco, early 90s house, italo and anything with a DMX drum kit, Donald'S House take on dance dance music is as refreshing as it is familiar - You can catch them regularly on Melbourne's Skylab radio, where they host their show 'Two Brothers'

Call for all fans of 'Baja Degli Angeli' a true temple for the development of the clubbing culture, as we know it today. Big release from the master of Italian Deep House!

The italian act Geometric Vision has earned a solid reputation as one of the best post-punk bands out there. This EP, with specially remastered versions, is an extract / advance of their very awaited new LP 'FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!' to be released next april 23 at SWISS DARK NIGHTS on digital / cd and on vinyl standard LP version on MANIC DEPRESSION RECORDS. Somehow near of the best The Cure but with clear reminds to The Stone Roses for the exquisite use of the reverbs and delays on all tracks, but all that, surely, with a more agressive and darky approach. Volkan Caner of She Past Away helps GV to close this EP with the amazing 'Jelly Dream'. It arrives on 12 EP format and produced in a ONE-OFF truly limited edition of 300 copies lacquered pressed on 180 gr. high quality solid black vinyl. All tracks have been specially remastered for LONG CUT vinyl by Eric Van Wonterghem

Disco Tools 18 Moods is the first ep of Sampling Moods Records Label. In this first release Eddie lays down the defining ingredients of his label: disco-funk samples, distinct rhythms and recordings on tape. Assisted by his mentors Eddie sets out to make his mad passion for Classic Garage amalgamate with a galvanising rhythmic construction, which is raw and rough. Master by Frank Merritt at The Carvery London Pressed by MPO Artwork by Riccardo Banfi and Mirko Pisanelli

Heavy House, Nu Disco style !

Sexy bloody French house music !

The legendary Heinrich Dressel and former Simonetti's Goblin bass player Federico Amoroso, team up for the collaboration of the year. Crawling from freshly cracked tombs, dripping with ooze and bloodlust, these 8 tracks are the perfect soundtrack to some long lost Italian Zombie epic or Supernatural Giallo. Nods to the greats, from that perfect Italian prog-rock bass sound, to the atmospheres of Frizzi and the disco groove of Carpenter. Unashamed hardware worship with the X firmly burned into the flesh at the alter of Elka. Giallo Disco is proud to present this masterwork from two Italian greats. Art by Eric A Lee. Mastered by Andrea Merlini. Limited to 200 copies.

Music Mania is proud to present the next instalment in their Reprise series. Following the highly sought after classic 'Elle et Moi' (MMR001), comes the blissful Belgian synth pop anthem 'Crocodile Tears' (MMR002). The track was one of the first singles of Kuruki, the minimal wave project spearheaded by Ghent-based musician Gerry D'Haeyer and Alain Bureau (Sally Joy). In an age of electronic sequenced experimentation, the band managed to find a distinctive sound that easily puts them between the likes of Telex. The original ep 'Such A Liar' was released in 1981 and clearly echoes the new wave of its time. The scenes described by vocalist Sally Joy as well as the melancholic keys of the main track 'Crocodile Tears' breathe tristesse. Nevertheless, it has a playful sound full of catchy synths. A dualism between such beauty and melancholy: this track was undeniably made in Belgium in the eighties, but should also appeal to lovers of Italo Disco.

Be aware: for their second reprise Music Mania managed to include an exclusive instrumental version of this Belgitude. Even more synths for your listening pleasure.

It's been a while since Marcello Giordani last release. Now the man who powerfully relaunch the Italo sound in 2008 with the acclaimed blog Italo Deviance is back on the scene after 2 years of hard work and research into the deepest and obscure Italo sound. This 6 tracks LP travel through again into the unique sound of the early 80's Italo Disco built with spacey analog sounds, some cheesy atmospheres and a touch of primitive Trance chords. Marcello's taste is very clear and specific when we speak about Electronic Disco and this LP is totally inspired by artists like Farina/Rago, Sangy, Alexander Robotnick, Alessandro Novaga, Doris Norton and also from his experience collecting and playing this shit during the last 20 years. If you want to give a name to the style of this LP, call it 'Organic Italo'.

The spaniard act AM is our last national discover. Coming from Valencia, a city that on the mid 80's has been with Brussels and Manchester at the european vanguard of the most advanced and darkest beats. AM, clearly influenced by those days of glory, presents on their vinyl debut an outstanding EP that sometimes could remind to the best FRONT 242 period and sometimes could remind to be listening to the late 80's NewBeat top hymns at Boccaccio, surely anyone will remain indifferent to AM. It will be presented on 12 EP format and produced in a ONE-OFF truly limited edition of 300 copies lacquered pressed on 180 gr. high quality solid black vinyl. All tracks have been specially mastered and remastered for LONG CUT vinyl by Eric Van Wonterghem

De Lichting is a brand new collaborative project between three key underground labels from Amsterdam namely Yield Records, Native Response and Working Titles. All with their own successful solo projects and well established in what they do, the collaboration is 'a coming of age story narrated by a bunch of music heads from the same city.' It is a project that sees seven self-confessed music nerds putting their DIY ideals front and centre and coming together to self-release these 13 new and exciting tracks.Artists Nathan Surreal, queniv, RDS, Scott Franka, Kaap, Eversines, Human Space Machine and Deltitnu all contribute at least one track each to what will be the first in a new series of releases that follow this same diverse collaborative approach. Musically, the tracks cover many shades of house, ambient and techno across four carefully curated sides of vinyl. Side A takes in unsettling sci-fi ambiance that turns into spacious and cosmic deep house before dropping back into dreamy, beatless chords. Side B picks up the pace with slippery electro synths and rubbery grooves that journey through the cosmos before ending up on romantic broken beat bliss. Side C kicks off with menacing and trippy house which turns to deep acid, loose beat workouts and dubby ambiance then last of all, Side D offers supple mind melting techno and sombre minimal dub. Always inventive and atmospheric throughout, this a varied and vital release that both DJs and dancers are sure to love.

It ends, with the release of Chapter 5 and 6, the "COSMIC TEMPLE" project

by Daniele Baldelli.
Six 12" vinyls containing a total of 18 unreleased tracks inspired by the sounds of Cosmic Disco of Lazise (Verona, Italy), where Daniele Baldelli was resident from 1979 until the end of 1984. The six covers, taken together, form a unique artwork that shows the COSMIC logo interpreted by the graphic studio "Drudi Performance", the top in the Racing Design, creator of the helmets of Valentino Rossi, on this occasion became deeply involved with the music world.
Chapter 5: Space music atmosphere in KATA SANDI, a fusion of Italo Disco electronics and Moroder influences with a vocoder to interpret the melody. DIOXIDE: an electro funk with psychotic and tribal influences. After a grand opening ESAEDRO starts to fly in space in Tangerinine Dream atmosphere.

Fresh from his recent tour full of sweaty live sets & deep record digging in the motherland, Todh Teri is back with the 3rd instalment of his Deep in India series of edits & reworks. First up, a chunky acid rework of a huge 90s hit - brimmed with relentless drum programming & shimmering peaks of ecstasy. Followed up by a suspenseful tribal house reinterpretation of a 60s cabaret classic (with a breathless twist that would definitely leave the purists scratching their heads). The final one is strictly day time dance business drenched in Caribbean sun rays & the evergreen vocals of 80s Pakistani disco diva. All 3 tracks in this release are the essential Bollywood disco curve balls that you need in your record bag to set dance floors ablaze all over the world.

Spinning gold is pretty difficult. But that's what Franz Scala does. Simple when you know how, and this Italian does. Three tracks of pure italo sunshine. Snapping beats and cocktail chords meet on the dancefloor for 'Discoteca Paradiso', sleek synthlines keeping time as the pair turn and twirl. 'Gun Theory' works in moonlit. Clean drums are sullied by dripping keys, a cigarette locked in the teeth of this after hours affair. And the lights aren't up yet, Scala has one more floor filler up his sleeve. Pulsing rhythms say there still hope, she's style out there; but the bitter sweet melodies disagree. A lilting heartbreaker, in the elegant form of 'Riflessi'.

Red Laser CEO Il Bosco selects four Manctalo nukes that rock the label's Manchester Party on a regular basis.

The Manchester DJ and producer carefully edits these rare or ignored tracks with the help of the another well-known local who only wishes to be known as 'The Bat'.
Play That song is like The Smiths decided to have a go at boogie and creates an amazing mix of indie electro funk that shouldn't work but does.
A Little Happiness has had the big Italo collectors around Europe searching frantically for the original of this lost gem since the track was aired on Red Laser's Soundcloud. Who will find it first
Pac Manc is an amazing dreamy slice of electro boogie ripe for the dancefloor and finishing the EP in style is the heavy drum led afro funk of Shotgun Rules Again, with a synth bassline so big you could see it from Mars.

This one will live in DJ bags for some time.
Limited to 150. Hand stamped in textured grey card sleeves.

The debut EP from Aussie producers Turner Street Sound has finally blossomed!

The duo comprised of Rory McPike (AKA Rings Around Saturn) and Ryan Hunter (AKA MidnightTenderness) first collaborated on 'Stoned Mix' for Domestic Documents Vol. 1 in 2016, shaking bass bins in its path.
The collection of tracks on Bunsen Vol.1 - recorded between 2014 and 2017 - encapsulate the boys' influences with a Turner Street twist.

Dark Entries Editions is proud to reissue "Perfect High" the 1983 debut 12' by Peppermint Lounge from Germany. The group consisted of Matthias Elvers (synthesizers, bass), Regina Petersen (vocals) and Jorg Burckhardt (drums, strings). They took their name from a popular 1960s discotheque in New York City. Treading the lines between Italo Disco, Electro, and New Wave, the trio crafted a unique sound difficult to classify. Regina's powerful vocals command attention as they tell the sad tale of a boy searching for the perfect high. The lyrics are based on the poem The Perfect High' by Shel Silverstein. Melancholic arpeggiators, a throbbing baseline, stuttering samples, vocoder and the classic Roland TR-808 drum machine run throughout the track, which builds to a majestic crescendo, ala Klaus Schulze or Jean-Michel Jarre. This reissue includes the original vocal version, backed with a shorter instrumental version.

All songs have been remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The 12' is housed in an exact replica of the original sleeve with black and white Dali-esque drawing. Each copy also includes a 2-sided postcard lyrics and notes.

Much love from the man from Down Under!
