Föllakzoid began seven years ago as a trance experience between childhood friends Diego, Juan Pablo, and Domingo from Santiago, Chile. Heavily informed by the heritage of the ancient music of the Andes, the band has learned to integrate this influence with contemporary sounds of their times, creating a rich yet minimal atmosphere.

For III, the band wanted to expand their sound while building an atmosphere with mainly monochords and reiteration. After recording and mixing the album on their own at their studio at BYM Records, they partnered with German electronic maestro Atom TM to flesh out the album's synth parts. Most of the sounds he provided were atonal electronic sounds, aiming for concrete frequencies and sampled organic glitches. (The Korg synthesizer Atom TM plays on this record was used by Kraftwerk on a tour during the '80s and given to him by Florian Schneider.)

III is a four-part minimal sound voyage in which you can hear Föllakzoid's musical language developing into something more upbeat, obscure, and sharp, yet even simpler in terms of elements. During the past year, the band played more than 80 gigs, including at Primavera Sound Festival (both Porto and Barcelona), ATP Festival in the UK, Musique Volantes in Lyon, and Lollapalooza Chile. Tin Fist is being issued on vinyl for the first since its 2007 original release date. The vinyl includes two never before heard bonus tracks 'Shoot The Moon' and 'Sleepwalking'. The Acorn, led by Rolf Carlos Klausener, is very thoughtful, deliberate and at times haunting. Think of the best of worlds encompassed by Bright Eyes, Under Byen and Bruce Springsteen and a song like the dark, mysterious and hushed "Heirlooms" immediately comes to life. Soft and melodic before slowly gaining a harder tone, the track morphs into a tension-filled coda that never breaks through the surface. And while Tin Fist might only be a eight-song EP, this song exemplifies the strength of the effort. "Dents (Glory, Pt.1)" has a distinct folksy nature that gently pushes it along, resembling a fine Appalachian tune that might have been attempted in Wilco's earlier incarnations. Following a warm "Brokered Heart" which has ample twists and turns, the Acorn show another side of themselves with the melodic pop oozing out of "Feral Chile" that sounds like XTC influenced by dance-rock. Carrying on this momentum is the joyful "Spring Thaw" that has the same bounce and panache as songs by the Diableros and the Arcade Fire. - (Taken from a Pop Matters review)

No Need To Argue' is the sophomore effort by Irish group The Cranberries that was originally released in 1994. Propelled by the hit song Zombie' about the Irish conflict, the album was a worldwide smash and helped make the band one of the biggest of the 90s. With a more mature approach to songs and subject matter the album features many highlights including "Ode To My Family", "Yeats' Grave" and "Ridiculous Thoughts" with a more lively rock sound than their much mellower debut album. 180 gram vinyl in gatefold cover with printed inner sleeve that includes the lyrics.

Duran Duran confirm they will release their 14th studio album, Paper Gods on September 11th through Warner Bros. Records. Singer Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor, and drummer Roger Taylor recorded the album in London with producers Nile Rodgers, Mark Ronson, Josh Blair, and Mr Hudson. The record features special guests Janelle Monáe (on the first single Pressure Off'), former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante, Canadian Juno-Award winning singer Kiesza, British singer/songwriter Mr Hudson, violinist Davidé Rossi and actress Lindsay Lohan. The album was mixed by Mark 'Spike' Stent.
The songs on Paper Gods capture the duality and sense of conflict at the heart of Duran Duran's music. It really goes back to that strange early Duran mix: the hard-edged pop, coexisting with this dark, weird, experimental side,' John says. That's something that's essential to all of us,' Nick adds. It's great to be able to lift people's spirits — and your own — with a strong shot of pure pop, but the world we live in isn't all just made of that stuff, so it seems natural to me that we have kept one foot in the darker, more Gothic side of life.'
We found a whole new level of inspiration on this album,' says Rhodes.

We've allowed ourselves the time to make music that we can be proud of,' adds Le Bon . I judge what we release by my favourite albums — Horses, Harvest, Let It Bleed, Blue, Transformer, Aladdin Sane. Those are classic albums. The only rule is it's got to be music you can live with for the rest of your life.'
CHIC co-founder Nile Rodgers and Mark Ronson co-wrote, and produced the tracks Pressure Off' and Only in Dreams. Rodgers also features on the first single from what will be the band's 14th studio release. The former harks back to the taut funk of Duran Duran's 1986 album Notorious, which was also co-produced by Rodgers. Notorious was a strong touchstone for the band,' says Roger Taylor. All You Need is Now definitely reflected our earlier albums, but our starting point here was Notorious. We're fortunate to be able to be inspired by our own back catalogue - not many bands can say that.'

Speaking about the creation of the track he goes on to say With the music, I was thinking about those Pet Sounds bootlegs where they'd splice melodies together and somehow they'd sit together.'

For a brief moment Turin was Italy's Sheffield, producing an astonishing number of DIY electronic groups. In the context of a wider Europe, Italy has never been thought of as a hotbed of minimal electronic music, but Mannequin Records compilations Danza Meccanica: Italian Synth Wave 1982-1987 have shone a light on a scene little heard, even within Italy's borders.
But the history was still incomplete.. some new horizons now must be unveiled, showing that between the years of 1982 and 1984, the city of Turin in northwest Italy was home to a quiet underground renaissance of experimental electronic music.

Inspecting all the bands we released in the past years, Musumeci represents one of the most rare and unknown. But..the reissue of the two super rare demo tapes that they recorded in 1985 ("Schwarz Morgen") and in 1986 ("Zusammen") and a 12'' containing a couple of unreleased tracks plus a TRAXX edit, were just the beginning. We are really now proud to put the lights on their own tape label Der Zeltweg, with a selection of their 1982-1984 side projects Errata-S-Corrige, Gasdehyde and Herpes-Z. All the demo tapes we had the pleasure to listen simply take no prisoners. Expect aggressive early industrial sounds, with dirty and pulsating rhythms, in the vein of Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire. Without being snobbish, we deeply believe that "Der Zeltweg" compilation will be one of the 2014 underground highlights. Sick!

The HEARTBREAKERS split up when Track Records folded. But in the fall of '78, Johnny Thunders, Billy Rath and Walter Lure found themselves in New York and decided to do a couple of gigs for 'old times sake' and some 'chump change'. They got together with drummer Ty Styx for some farewell gigs at Max's Kansas City, and the resulting album was issued in 1979 on Max's Kansas City Records in the US and Beggars Banquet in the UK. It sold well, so Max's Tommy Dean decided to record a Volume 2. A long weekend of shows was booked, this time with original drummer Jerry Nolan, but 'chemical imbalances' ruined all but half of the last show. Beggars turned down the tapes, and the Volume 2 remained unreleased, appearing only briefly on CD in the mid-90's. Now for the first time, both volumes are together on double-vinyl! GATEFOLD, + INSERT with notes by NINA ANTONIA.

The Heartbreakers' 'L.A.M.F.' (Like A Mother Fucker) is hailed as one of the classic punk albums. Formed by New York Dolls Johnny Thunders and Jerry Nolan in 1975 they influenced the UK punk scene, joining the Sex Pistols, Damned & Clash on the infamous 'Anarchy' tour. 'L.A.M.F.' was originally released on Track Records in 1977 to much acclaim, features Chinese Rocks, Born To Lose, One Track Mind, Pirate Love and many other classics.

John Williams was the lead vocalist in a band called The Authentics with his brother Berne. They had a residency at the Marquee. London supporting The Yardbirds. Indeed, Berne Williams introduced Jimmy Page to the Yardbirds. They recorded one unreleased single with Page as producer and harmonica and guitar. John Williams then recorded a solo album for Columbia in 1967 which is exceptional and very hard to find these days. He then recorded an album with Jimmy Page and Big Jim Sullivan under the name Maureeny Wishful. Another hard to find record but exceptionally good. John recorded two tracks with Dave King (Spell) at Shield Studios, Kettering in 1968. I believe that this is the only surviving copy of the acetate. The tracks have been remastered in Austria. There has been a lot of interest in this release especially from Led Zeppelin completists. This release has been approved by John Williams.

Mad Season was formed by Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready, Alice in Chains vocalist Layne Staley , bass player John Baker Saunders and Barrett Martin on drums. 'Above' is the only studio album they recorded. It was released in March 1995 and features guest vocals by Mark Lanegan . Mad Season is an English term for the time of the year when psilocybin mushrooms are in full bloom, and a term which McCready related to "the seasons of drinking and drug abuse." Not that inappropriate, considering the fact that the band formed after McCready and Saunders met in rehab.

A mix of melancholy ballads and hard rock, the album proved to be a gold certified hit: just missing the top 20.

We are presenting you one the classics of the so-called 'grunge'era.

Spell originated from the Bedford area in the UK. They comprised Chris Bagnall - Vocals, Mick Rimmer - Bass and Dave King on Guitar. There were several drummers, the one on this session was Irish and his name is unknown. Dave King is the only surviving member of the band and has a great band called Mojo who play on the east coast of England. SPELL played a lot of gigs on the club scene and had one recording session from which came this acetate. The tracks have been remastered in Austria.

Musically, this is post Summer Of Love west coast influenced British Psych.

The bands 8th studio Album, simply entitled 'The Asteroid #4' - finally gets very limited vinyl release which comes hand numbered.

Over the last decade and a half they've built a trove of eight full length albums, well over a dozen compilation appearances, digital-only rarity releases and multiple singles, a feat that many modern bands would certainly find daunting. They've impressively managed to grow this lengthy body of work whilst building a solid underground fanbase in the USA, aided by extensive touring with old psyche buddies: THE BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE & THE LILYS whilst still remaining solidly underground, cult band.

The A4 sound is a hypnotic hybrid of several different genres filtered through the kaleidoscope of all things psychedelic, "Krautrock", "Shoegaze", folk and even 70s "Cosmic" country rock and despite never shying away from wearing their influences squarely on their sleeves, it's their longevity that has matured them to the point of originality rather than simply homage. It is that same longevity that has enabled them to do whatever they want, when they want, allowing them the freedom to experiment, which certainly makes up the foundation for anything truly "psychedelic".

(July Collective Title) Born in Berlin in early 2014 and nurtured over the following summer, 'I Declare Nothing' is the spine-tingling collaboration between Tess Parks and Anton Newcombe (Brian Jonestown Massacre). The duo, who co-wrote and co-played on the album, they are touring across Europe this year.Tess Parks - A native of Toronto, Tess Parks moved to London, England at the age of seventeen where she briefly studied photography before deciding to focus on music. Tess made an impression on industry legend Alan McGee, founder of Creation Records, albeit the timing of their meeting could hardly have been less ideal, McGee was no longer involved in music and Tess was due to move back to Toronto. After moving back to her hometown in 2012, Tess formed a band on the advice of McGee and less than a year after their meeting, he returned to music with his new label, 359 Music. Tess became one of his first signings and released her debut record 'Blood Hot' in November 2013 to excellent reviews. One reviewer described her as Patti Smith on Quaaludes'. Others have mentioned her "gauzy psychedelic sound' and "smouldering voice'. Alan McGee himself said: She's only 24 and is already an amazing songwriter... she just doesn't quite know she is yet ... her most beautiful quality is her lack of ego. Tess is an amazing lady'. Anton Newcombe - Anton Newcombe is the leader of the Brian Jonestown Massacre, who returned last May with their 14th full-length album 'Revelation' to critical acclaim. It is the first album that was fully recorded and produced at Anton Newcombe's recording studio in Berlin and was released on his record label A Recordings. It was supported by a successful European tour. Named in tribute to the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist and his influence in introducing Eastern culture and music into the world of Western rock & roll, Brian Jonestown Massacre formed in San Francisco, California in 1990. Two dozen band members later and numerous ups and downs' (some have been famously sensationalized in the media), the one thing that has always remained consistent for this psychedelic collective, is front man Mr. Anton Alfred Newcombe.

Official reissue of this legendary live LP from the band's golden days, originally released on Clay Records in 1989. A slab of pure rawness that captures these UK Punk icons in an intense, ultra-powerful performance during their legendary 2nd US tour (Northern USA and Canada) in fall 1983. As the original pressing says: These recordings were taped on the sound desk on the night of the concert and although they may lack the technology of full studio recordings they nevertheless capture the live excitement of a Discharge gig and have been fully approved for release by the group . In point of fact, this is raw, furious and totally out of control and together with The nightmare continues' (the other Discharge's official live album on Clay) it portrays in full effect these D-Beat generators at the top of their game. All their classic anthems are included: Hear nothing, see nothing, say nothing , Never again , Protest and survive , The blood runs red , Decontrol' and so on.. And as for all F.O.A.D.'s releases this has been mastered from the best sounding source in existence at Toxic Basement Studio, keeping the original sonic impact in its most genuine and uncontaminated form, just adding more balance to the instruments and that punch-in-the-face live feel that no band has ever topped.

Slow Train Coming is the 19th studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan. It was the artist's first effort since becoming a born-again Christian, and all of the songs either express his strong personal faith.

The unexpected effect of his conversion to Christianity is that it gave Dylan a focus he hadn't had since Blood on the Tracks. His concentration carries over to the music, which is lean and direct.

The album peaked at #2 on the Charts in the UK and went Platinum in the US, where it reached number 3. Slow Train Coming was listed at number 16 in the 2001 book CMM Presents: The 100 Greatest Albums in Christian Music.

Finally available for the very frst tme on vinyl is 'Very Fast Very Dangerous', the second album Reuben
- originally released in 2005 on Xtra Mile Recordings. This re-issue follows the rabid fan response to
the 10th Anniversary re-issue of 'Racecar Is Racecar Backwards' on coloured vinyl and bespoke new
artwork released in late 2014.
This vinyl release of 'Very Fast Very Dangerous' is no less ambitous. Heavy card, gatefold vinyl sleeve
with a unique opening slot, this is a one of a kind and truly Reuben 2015 experience.

Second album (known as the Tiger' one) by the Japanese heavy-psych power trio, a proto-metal and avant-psych classic originally released in 1972.



Released when the band had just disintegrated, this was mostly the work of singer-drummer Joey Pepe' Smith, who included some unreleased tracks from the Eve' sessions plus new recordings featuring Mike Hanopol on bass. Three sides of trashy, bluesy, psychedelic hard-rock with fuzzy guitars and studio effects, featuring underground classics like Run & Hide', plus a whole side of mindblowing electronic & noise soundscapes.



After the album release, Joey Smith and Mike Hanopol returned to Manila, where they went to join the legendary Juan de la Cruz Band.

The brainchild of famous producer Ikuzo Orita, Speed, Glue & Shinki was a Japanese psychedelic rock power trio formed in 1970, centered around the figure of guitar player Shinki Chen, who was considered the Japanese Jimi Hendrix at the time.

The band consisted of Shinki Shin' Chen (ex-Powerhouse, Foodbrain) on guitar, Masayoshi Glue' Kabe (ex-Golden Cups) on bass and Filipino born Joey Speed'' Smith (later on Juan de la Cruz) on drums and vocals.

Eve' was their debut album from 1971. Killer heavy-rock / acid blues with loud guitars, raw vocals and druggy lyrics, featuring underground classics like Stoned out of my mind'.

To celebrate the label's sixteenth anniversary we're throwing a party via this far out basketball-themed picture disc 12" featuring nine exclusive, full-length songs and 19 locked grooves by artists from all across the Carpark catalogue. The line-up on this team is stacked. We're putting everyone on the court for this game. All offense, all defense, and while we're here we'll pick up some nachos at the snack bar.

The full-song team picture sounds like this: We've got party-starting, confetti-blasting jams from Young Magic and Skylar Spence. There are the groovy three-pointers from Montag, Ear Pwr, Memory Tapes, and Dog Bite. An intimate demo of an older classic from Speedy Ortiz ("Basketball," naturally). A brand new tale about an epic game from TEEN. GRMLN goes in for the slam dunk with "Buzzer Beat." We are ridiculously fortunate to be working with these talented players.

Looping for hours on end (or seconds depending on your taste) in the locked groove department, there's a crunchy blast from new signee Chandos and the delightful drone of Carpark veteran So Takahashi. Light Pollution frontman Jimmy Whispers swoops in on feather-light feet to pay tribute to Tyrone Curtis "Muggsy" Bogues. Safety Scissors throws us "Orange Roughy" before Cloud Nothings members Jayson Gerycz and Thomas J Duke run down the court. Jason Urick of Wzt Hearts tests the ref's patience with "Double Dribble," but we think it's fair and proper. Dan Deacon and Greg Davis skitter about the floor as Adventure claims to say "Eww," but it seems like an exclamation of awe. If you wanna slam, turn to the somewhat solemn "Space Jam" by Toro Y Moi. Also offering a loop with a filmic theme is Sadie Dupuis of Speedy Ortiz on "Theme from Babadook." This all-star team sees crucial assists from number "1" Jake Mandell and foundation player Signer. Lowt Ide (featuring Mike Falcone of Speedy Ortiz) knows the value of sharing. Tying everything together with a right-on time score is graphic designer Rob Carmichael of SEEN, sending us home with some psychedelic picture disc imagery. All proceeds go to the Little Kids Rock non-profit, which is "dedicated to ensuring that all public school children have the opportunity to unlock their inner music makers" by investing in schools, teachers, instruments, and children around the U.S.
