When Neil Young closed the S.N.A.C.K. Benefit concert in San Francisco on March 23, 1975, he was playing with a one-of-a-kind line up never to be duplicated. Also performing as part of the group were Bob Dylan and three members of the The Band—Rick Danko, Levon Helm, and Garth Hudson. With additional help from a couple of Young's sidemen, they charged through a mixture of Young, Dylan, and Band songs, ending with a twist on Bob Dylan's hit 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door,' heard here as 'Knockin' on the Dragon's Door. Broadcast on K101-FM Radio in San Francisco, presented here with comprehensive liner notes and images.

We Are The Ocean haben sich noch nie an Regeln gehalten. Nachdem sie fünf Jahre lang eine treue Fanbase aufgebaut hatten, verkraftete ihr letztes Album "Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow" mühelos einen Line Up-Wechsel und präsentierte sich mit einem frischen und mutigen neuen Sound. Doch es kann seinem Nachfolger "Ark" nicht das Wasser reichen, mit dem sich die vierköpfige Post-Hardcoreband aus Essex zurückmeldet. Viele Bands existieren heutzutage nicht lange genug, um überhaupt vier Alben zu veröffentlichen. Den wenigen Ausnahmen fehlt es oftmals an kreativen Überraschungen, doch We Are The Ocean gehören nicht dazu. Nach einer einjährigen Tour mit "Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow", das von Kritikern hoch gelobt und ihr bislang kommerziell erfolgreichstes Album wurde, nahm sich die Band ihre erste große Auszeit seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 2007. Das neue Album "Ark" haben sie wie die zwei letzen Alben ("Go Now and Live" und "Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow") zusammen mit Peter Miles in ihrem "Zweitwohnsitz" Middle Farm Studios aufgenommen. Like watching a massive twisting fire slowly fading into the open skies, accompanied by a drum section so repetitive yet mind bending that you're unsure if it's ever going to stop. This is how Hold starts off. James has been on a path to catch the perfect drone through the last years, playing an abundance of underground drone and noise sets in Berlin and Norway. This can be heard on Hold, though set in an impressively produced setting closer to a recent Swans record rather than the raw noise of those early live shows. It's hard to label the album too much in one style, as it shifts and turns into parts inspired by everything from Shoegaze to Black Metal, all set in a state of endless repetition.

ohnny Winter And Live is an album recorded live during the Fillmore East in New York City and Pirate's World in Dania, Florida in 1970. It was released in May 1971.

In its time, Johnny Winter And Live was an enormously popular live album, especially among high-school kids just starting to discover Blues-Rock in the early '70s. The album is probably the best representation of Johnny Winter's sound from his prime years.

The highlights are of considerable value, however, including a searing rendition of the Stones "Jumpin' Jack Flash" sandwiched between some much older repertory like "Great Balls of Fire", "Long Tall Sally", and "Johnny B. Goode". The players generally try for something a little more subtle and interesting. Winter performed together with Bobby Caldwell, Rick Derringer, and Randy Jo Hobbs.

So ganz falsch liegen sie mit ihren Lobpreisungen nicht. LONELY THE BRAVE sind ohne Frage eine große Band mit Format und einem Sound, der schon bald den internationalen Durchbruch bringen sollte.
Mit catchy Hooks und verdammt guten Rocksongs wird die Band nicht nur bei Rock-Puristen, sondern sicher auch im Radio gut funktionieren. Und das im positivsten aller Sinne. Nicht umsonst haben die Jungs in England schon eine ständig wachsende treue Hörerschaft und konnten sich unter anderem auch als Support von den Deftones oder Black Rebel Motorcycle Club einen Namen machen. Die offizielle Biografie sagt: "Listen carefully and you might find echoes of Pearl Jam's unbridled rock majesty, or Radiohead in the days when they combined esoteric intensity with killer rock anthems."

Some of the band's best songs made an appearance here. Both "The Ghost in You" and "Heaven" balanced off a warm sound that managed to be radio-friendly on the one hand. John Ashton's guitar mixed in surprisingly well with the fine if often conventional keyboard arrangements and surprisingly barbed on the other. "Here Come Cowboys" and "Alice's House" are two particular winners. Because of the combination with guitar, string chug, a brilliant slow descending chorus, the driving, nervous piano and massed vocals.

Before this album, drummer Vince Ely had left the group, leaving Richard Butler and Tim Butler along with guitarist John Ashton to carry on. For this project, producer Keith Forsey handled the drumming.

It's no understatement that Gary Wilde Is no stranger to the music scene. His talents started back in the 60's and became prominent in the 80's with his management skills with the Paisley Underground bands that included The Pandoras, The Fuzztones and several others of the second coming revival that came to the forefront of that time. Raised in Beverly Hills, California and attended the Academy of Music in Beverly Hills for vocal & guitar training.

At the end of the 80's while tour managing The Fuzztones, Mr. Wilde would sing encores on several stages across Europe to enthusiastic receptions hence the idea to record with Mr. Wilde taking over the lead vocals and two of those tracks are on this forthcoming EP. Blood from A Stone and Skeleton Farm with the former backing line up of The Fuzztones in concurrence with what turned out to be a sold out performance at one of Los Angeles's most famous clubs of the era.

These recording lay to rest for 2 decades until now. The resurrection prompted numerous questions and request to release new tracks to coincide to bring his voice back to light. On 7/7/2014 Mr. Wilde returned to the studio withLisa Mychols & Steve Refling & Elan Portnoy formally from the Fuzztones, to record two songs that are also on thisChuputa! Records & Groovie Records EP. Keep On Walking was originally recorded in 1966 by The Penthouse Vand Come On In was the B side of the Music Machine's first single Talk Talk.

All four tracks have been well received worldwide and are in current rotation on several radio stations across the globe. Once released a world tour will follow with Mr. Wilde and a very talented all female backing band that are as familiar with the Sounds from the Garage as he is. Mr. Wilde would not have it any other way.

Alicia Bay Laurel is well known as the writer and illustrator of one of the classic books of the back-to-the-earth movement, the 1970 Living On The Earth, a hand-written guide to living the good life, but she is also a very accomplished singer, songwriter and guitarist, the latter skill honed by studying with John Fahey.
The songs on Music From Living On The Earth were composed concurrently with the writing of the book, permeated by the
sun and soil of the commune life, bright and earthy paeans to the natural world, featuring ABL's pure, strong and uplifting voice atop her fluid, confident and deft steel-string acoustic guitar fingerpicking, her style showing that she learned well from Fahey. She also collaborated with San
Francisco Tape Music Center co-founder Ramon Sender Barayon, who contributes the 40-voice choral arrangement for the closing track. Although these songs were written as the sixties became the seventies, Music From Living On The Earth was actually recorded in 2000 and first issued as a
self-produced CD, then later issued in Japan on EM Records and is now out of print. This 15th anniversary first-time vinyl version, with new liner notes by the artist as well as English and Japanese lyrics, allows listeners to again
hear ABL's blues, jazz and Indian music influences meld with folk roots to glorious effect.

This is a another great compilation of Anatolian Rock legend Baris Manço from Türküola. Featuring some of his early English recordings, including 'Run A Way' and 'Flower Of Love', big hits like 'Sari Çizmeli Mehmet Aga' and 'Aynali Kemer', and also a few remarkable instrumental gems from his '70s concept albums, the music presented here is exactly as colourful as Manço's breezy blouson on the cover!

At the dawning of the '60s many Turkish workers emigrated to Germany, where they -more or less unintentionally- started a sort of music scene focusing on the latest musical developments back home, in Turkey. Türküola was one of the prominent companies to appeal to this feeling of "gurbet", issueing records by Baris Manço, Cem Karaca, Asik Mahzuni Serif and many more Turkish artists for decades. This LP collects highlights from Türküola's late '60s releases of the legendary Cem Karaca and his energetic beatband APASLAR. Great stuff from Karaca's early career!

Fictonian will release his debut single 'Make It Be Ours' on May 4th 2015 on Distiller Music.  The single heralds the beginning of an album project which was conceived and developed over the past few years, set to unfold over Spring and Summer 2015. Multi-instrumentalist Fictonian deliberately evades definition. With the music just one part of a project incorporating visual and literary creations, the man behind it has remained elusive to date, determined to create a body of work which reflects a mind as visual as it is musical, and let the results do the talking. Tracks 'Full Circle Influence' and 'Double Negative' emerged in late 2014 to quiet but bubbling acclaim, gaining plaudits from the likes of Line of Best Fit, La Blogotheque, NME (Buzz Of The Week) and Q Magazine. Fictonian toured with Nick Mulvey this March, including a date at London's Roundhouse on March 27, full details below. London headline show to be announced soon.

This album demonstrates the early period of Ilhan Irem who later on in the 1980's became a progressive rock and new wave singer with mystical new age themes. The songs on this album consist of his works recorded between 1973 and 1978 in which he was accompanied by studio orchestras such as the legendary soul orchestra Istanbul Gelisim. The significant Mellotrone sound of Istanbul Gelisim perfectly matches with the Donovan years of this Turkish meditative rock singer and as a seal of the flower power years. The songs are from the Diskotür and Yavuz singles of Ilhan Irem which were licensed by Türküola for the European market during the 1970s.

The pioneers of Anatolian Pop display their best years under the leadership of legendary keyboardist Murat Ses. The fab 4 of Mogollar won the 'Academie Charles Cross Grand Prize' for their debut LP 'Danses Et Rythmes De La Turquie D'Hier A Aujourd'hui'. This prize was also achieved by Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix and Jacques Brel before. The cover of this Türküola edition of 'Danses Et Rythmes...' has the same cover and the title ('Anadolu Pop') of the Turkish edition on Yavuz Plak. Originally released in 1972.

Reissue of German cassette release as vinyl after nearly 40 years. The songs are from the various singles and the debut LP. The title song 'Yuh Yuh' is from Selda's 1977 'Dostum Dostum'/'Yuh Yuh' single. Most of the songs are performed with the Anatolian Rock super group Dadaslar who are known for their works with Ersen. The group consists of Fehiman Ugurdemir (guitars and synthesizer, former Cem Karaca & Kardaslar guitarist), Ozkan Ugur ((bass, former Baris Manço guitarist) and Mehmet Gözüpek (former drummer of Bunalim) and creates a powerful groove with their psychedelic arrangements.

*First release on CD of classic punk band , creators of the "Goth" movement and positive punk , who had 4 number one records in the UK independent chart .

*Contains the whole of their only full album "For Madmen Only " along with a best of the non album singles , including punk anthem "For My Country" and the 11 minute "Werewolf " that John Peel played 5 nights in a row on it's release .

For 3 years now Keith Miller & his BAD VIBRATIONS Collective have been promoting underground Psyche & Garage nights at venues around London's painfully hip & trendy Shoreditch & Dalston. What started off as the odd show here and there for a few friends and the odd psychedelic freak has blossomed into a flourishing cottage industry with Mr Miller & his promotions company 'BAD VIBRATION' organising weekly psychedelic happenings to an ever growing out-there crowd who are switching onto the 13th Floor Elevators, Iggy & The Stooges, The Spaceman 3, often first connected through more contemporary bands like The Black Angels, The Horrors & The Brian Jonestown Massacre. This live album is a taster of what Bad Vibrations has been up to and draws in a small selection of bands that have graced the Bad Vibrations Stage over the last two years from across Europe, America and the Rest of The World, from Iceland's DEAD SKELETON's, to Seattle's (USA) NIGHT BEATS, Austin's (USA) HOLY WAVE to London's very own THE WYTCHES & KVB. All bands fit loosely into the canon of Garage / Psyche / Krautrock with 'SIDE B' - featuring bands more in a 'Garage rock' vein, whilst 'SIDE V' features bands on a more 'Psychedelic, Krautrock, Kosmiche' tip. Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rodgers, along with guitarist/songwriter Mick Ralphs, bassist Boz Burrell, and drummer Simon Kirke released the band's second album Straight Shooter in April 1975, 40 years to the month of the new deluxe edition. The album rose to #3 on the U.S. album chart and was certified 3x platinum behind the hit singles Feel Like Makin' Love' and Good Lovin' Gone Bad' as well as the rock radio staple Shooting Star.'

All bonus tracks on the Deluxe LP version are previously unreleased. Among the standouts is a stripped-down version of Shooting Star,' and a remix of Good Lovin' Gone Bad' with alternative guitar and vocals tracks.

"Il mio nome è Nessuno" (My Name Is Nobody) is not a typical western. It's difficult to classify as it's halfway between the founders of the genre of the '60s and the comedies of the following decade. Sponsored and partly directed by Sergio Leone, it came out in 1973 and was very successful, thanks to the presence of the actors Terence Hill and Henry Fonda. A perfect balance between the light-hearted and the more serious side of the proper 'spaghetti western' genre. The other cornerstone of the film come from the music of Ennio Morricone, who writes and orchestrates a very varied soundtrack, which adapts itself very well to the various moods of the movie. There is everything: tense soundscapes, epic symphonic rides (directly referring to the "Dollar Trilogy"), frivolous and light-hearted moments, all it all sounds very natural within the movie. Given the popularity of the film, it's soundtrack has been reprinted several times, but 35 years have passed since the last one on vinyl. This particular edition on AMS Records also shows a completely renovated artwork and a 60x30cm poster with reproductions of flyers and lobby cards from the past.

A must have for all fans of the Maestro Morricone and given the importance of this movie, for every Western film lovers too.

it to the surface the tme it took to make this 7'. Fear not, though, you can stll count on the awesome
surf guitar, the hypnotc organ rifs and top notch song writng, but 'Outsider' and 'Watching You' are
both furious, fast-paced and rocking.
Both tunes were cut live in one afernoon at Swampland, Toulouse with Lo Spider producing in his
infamous analogue studio. Both are exclusive to this release and won't feature on the bands second
album, to be released later this year. Limited to 350 copies worldwide.

Angelo Noce Santoro is a guitar player with over forty-five years of musical career. A founding member of legendary psych-prog band Cosmic Dealer, Angelo has recorded and released albums under his own name and he's also behind projects like Palmeira (the first Dutch band playing Brazilian music), Santoro Brothers and Oriental Guitars among many others. His unique guitar playing, which incorporates surf, psychedelic, jazz and Oriental influences, has received praising from connoisseurs of obscure instrumental sounds such as Jello Biafra, who got in touch with Angelo after discovering one of his solo albums in a second-hand shop in the 80s.

For You' was Angelo's first solo effort, released as a private pressing in 1979 on ANS, his own label. Angelo played bass, acoustic & electric guitars, flute and percussion. He was joined by ace flute player Steven Bishop, drummer Herman Muller and Lodewijk Hulsman on acoustic guitar. Most of the tracks were written by Angelo prior to 1979, with some of them dating back to the early 70s when he was with Cosmic Dealer.
