'Recoiled' is a rambunctious alchemy, of magikal Coil sensibilities and hi-tech home circa 90's mixing technique, all fused in the cave-like early studios of Danny Hyde / Peter Christopherson. These were the unrestrained PRE- BIG studio- mix downs, of four songs which long time Coil admirer / collaborator Trent Reznor requested Coil to remix. Reznor sent over the original multi-tracks and DATs to Hyde / Christopherson, who independently mixed versions and then met to synch both creations, molding them into these master versions. 'Recoiled' includes a fuller, more opulent version of the track 'Closer', which eventually made it onto the opening credits to the movie 'SE7EN'. These 5 lengthy compositions (just under 40 minutes) are pre-Ableton / laptop generation type priest song creations, with the use of baby alarms and numerous wires to create bespoke effects. These legendary tracks were always rumoured to exist and, only the due diligence of a dedicated NIN forum who hunted them down, are released/unleashed for your listening pleasure. 4 of the tracks were released on the download-only 'Uncoiled'. A bonus, previously unheard track from the same sessions closes the album. Jhonn Balance is also manifest on this gilded constellation.

Some Chicken were an original Punk band from 1977 featuring Ivor Badcock on vocals, Terry Bull on Bass, Galway Kinnell on Drums and Jess Chicken on Guitar. We re-issued their debut single 'New Religion' on red vinyl. It originally came out on the Raw Records label on the 11th November 1977. In the same year it reached number 16 on John Peel's festive 50.

Last ever single from Fabienne Delsol & Liam Watson's garage supergroup featuring amongst it's ranks Bruce Brand (Milkshakes/Headcoats) Owen Thomas (Graham Coxon Band/Cee Bee Beaumont) Parsley (The Adventures of Parsley / Dutronc / Dee Rangers) and the glorious vocal talents of Miss Fabienne Delsol. They released two singles and albums on Damaged Goods before calling it a day in 2003. After the split Fabienne Delsol has gone solo and released three critically acclaimed albums to date.

This is their first album recorded in a high-end studio and, appropriately, the result is their most high fidelity album to date. That being said, it is still an incredibly straightforward record. Tomorrow's Hits is a concise collection of songs that nonetheless expands the band's ever-evolving musical palette. It's an album full of genre-bending risks, but it reinforces the overarching theme that has come to define its makers: The Men are a great rock band. After spending much of 2011 and 2012 on the road, including a trip upstate to write and record New Moon, their fourth full-length in as many years, The Men needed a break. They decided to take the winter of 2012 off to work on new material in Brooklyn. The converted founding member Mark Perro's bedroom in Bushwick into a practice space and rehearsed there nearly every day for three months, cutting more than 40 demos. By the end of that winter, the Men had pared that crop of songs down to 13. With their plans to take a break foiled by their own work ethic, they decided to record those songs before New Moon came out. They booked two days at Brooklyn's Strange Weather studios, clocked in, and tracked all 13 songs entirely live, even including a horn section. Eight songs from those sessions made the final cut for The Men's new LP, Tomorrow's Hits. This is their first album recorded in a high-end studio and, appropriately, the result is their most high fidelity album to date. That being said, it is still an incredibly straightforward record. This second EP from Mike and Tara Connelly's Clay Rendering follows on from their startling debut 'Nature's Confusion' and further evolves their songcraft through four pieces that draw you in with a slowly building emotive weight.References are hard to draw but the tracks here recall everything from Cocteau Twins and The Cranes at their most desolate to classic Sonic Youth, coloured and mis-shaped through abstract production assistance from Dominick Fernow and additional synth from Robert Beatty of Three Legged Race / Hair Police.'Waters Above The Firmament' and 'Myrrh Is Rising' were written in the dead of winter...'The Pest' and 'Temple Walking' in the heat of summer.

Reunited with his New York Dolls bandmates David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain - as well as with help from The Only Ones' Peter Perrett - this Johnny Thunders gig from 1980 was the last one he played at New York's legendary punk night club, Max's Kansas City. Blazing through a series of great cover tunes and Dolls originals, this set is one of Thunders' finer ones from that era, both in terms of performance and sound quality. Reissued by Lilith in a numbered limited edition of 500 splatter coloured vinyl copies for Record Store Day 2014. Get it before it's gone forever!

Dublin band 'Audiokiss' write snappy riff-laden pop tunes with a hard edge. This album, "Really Kind of Moving" was originally released in 2009 on CD and for download under the bands' own indie label AyKayem.


The album was originally only available for sale in Ireland but this year it get's a worthy re-release worldwide through Eire Supply.


This debut album contains their previously released singles "A Little Realisation" , "Bending Seas" and "Maybe". Super-session man Conor Brady co-produced the band's debut album at his Vicar Street Studios during late 2008. Conor has worked with Toots Hibbert and the Hodges brothers, Terence Trent D'Arby and The Corrs to name but a few. He also lent his guitar brilliance to several tracks.


The singles received considerable air-play in Ireland being play-listed on both regional and national radio-stations (including RTE). The album was also voted Album of the week by Roddie Cleere at WLR.


The album was also featured on a 2-hour program on VOS FM in Holland (Autumn 2009).

Very limited first EP from Cheatahs on red vinyl (100 copies ONLY)



Having recently released their eponymous debut album to critical acclaim on Wichita Recordings - Marshall Teller Records make Cheatahs' debut Coared EP available again on very ltd. red vinyl.



Listening to the EP it was clear these four sweet slices of slacker-pop brilliance were a promise of great things to come. Fans of ace drum fills, melancholic vocals, searing guitars and fuzzy production should prepare to get very excited indeed. The tracks were recorded at the Hackney rehearsal space they shared with numerous other bands - full of temperamental amps, a dilapidated drum kit and a barely-working PA, but a place the band firmly called home.



Part of a fertile community of musicians, the band coagulated around a shared love of Elliott Smith, Dinosaur Jr, Neil Young, Kevin Shields, Mark Kozalek, Wipers, Nirvana and Husker Du - infuences that can all be heard on this collectable release.

eher simpel und auf Venom gestrickten Headliner hatten nicht viel zu lachen, räumte die junge Doom-Hoffnung doch gnadenlos ab, inklusive ‚Headless Cross'-Cover in der Setlist. BELOW vereinen darauf das Beste aus mehreren Welten. Offensichtlich sind die Anleihen bei Black Sabbath, aus ebenjener "Headless Cross"-Phase. Da ist die Stimme, die sofort an Tony Martin erinnert, da ist eine Produktion auf dem schmalen Grat zum Schwulst, diesen jedoch nie überschreitend, mit butterzarten Melodien aus fettesten Gitarrenwänden. Da sind Refrains, die nicht nur eingebaut sind, sondern sich ins Hirn fräsen. Offensichtlich sind auch Parallelen mit Candlemass; besonders, weil BELOW den Einbau leichter, verspielter Disharmonien nie lassen können. Schließlich der Hang zur Dramatik, mit Elementen wie Background-Chören, den sich die Schweden beim King (nein, nicht dem!) abgeschaut haben. Nur, dass es bei BELOW immer ein bisschen eingängiger und damit ernsthafter klingt, als auf einer Mercyful Fate-Platte und mit weniger Synthesizer.

Their approach on the psychedelic rock scene is rather broad. The first David Bowie release of 2014 will be 'REBEL REBEL' the latest in the run of 40th anniversary 7" picture discs released by Parlophone Records. 
 
'REBEL REBEL' is the seventh 40th anniversary 7" picture disc release, preceded by 'STARMAN', 'JOHN, I'M ONLY DANCING', 'THE JEAN GENIE', 'DRIVE-IN SATURDAY', 'LIFE ON MARS' and 'SORROW'.
 
Originally released in February 1974, 'REBEL REBEL' was Bowie's first new original single since disbanding The Spiders From Mars and acted as a taster for the groundbreaking album DIAMOND DOGS. The track reached #5 in the UK and also hit the US Billboard Hot 100. It is reportedly the most covered track of Bowie's career
 
The A-side of the limited edition 7" picture disc features the original single mix of the track which hasn't been available on 7" since the early eighties and is still unavailable on CD to this day. 

The singles master tape disappeared shortly after it was originally used and with David changing record companies it has never reappeared. All subsequent uses of 'REBEL REBEL' for CD or download have been the LP version from DIAMOND DOGS not the original 7" version which is a bit more rough and ready. Rather than continue using the album version, for this it was decided to dub it from the cleanest original 7" single that could be found to put in back in its rightful place as THE single version.

The album opens with the northern soul tinged 'Wearing The Changes', a feel good, inspirational jam, dedicated to old friends. Davenport's Motown rhythm is complimented by Faler's Orange Juice flavored guitar work. Track two is 'Fuck Fame', a catchy dance floor musing on the merits of anonymity, climaxing with an abstract blues solo from Davenport. Next up is 'Dust In The Circuits', a tale of isolation in the big city. Bacharach-ian lounge chords are set to a new wave backbeat and Marr-esque guitars. This sort of juxtaposition is what sets Davenport's work apart from his peers; harmonic sophistication with a deceptively fun feel and all the while, a sense of melancholy lurks beneath the surface. 'On Your Own Planet' continues in this vein. Finally, side one closes with 'Girl Gotta Way'. This ballad in minor key features Bart's dramatic baritone on a bed of syhthesizers, complimented by film noir guitar from Faler.



Side two starts with the rock & roll-y 'Pamela' followed by 'Physical World', a softrock shuffle with an existential slant. The title track discusses the balance between fantasy and reality, between "the gravity of this time" and "the weightless of space". Track three, 'Every Little Step', has an r&b feel and is followed by the decidedly power pop, 'Vow'. Producer, Luke Top brings the west coast atmosphere of tom toms and plate reverb to the closing track, 'Loop In My Head', a final statement about breaking out of depression, obsession and monotony. The song, like much of the whole album, has a feel that is both humble and triumphant. That might be Davenport in a nutshell. The same contrast is captured in Freddy Cristy's cover art. A cartoon superhero is perched on the edge of a building, not fighting crime at the moment, just changing a guitar string.

Solitary music by Bert Dockx (Flying Horseman, Dans Dans). His first album is coming up on Unday after the summer. Undoubtedly one of Belgium's most inspired and gifted musicians and songwriters, Bert now embarks on an acoustic solo trip.
Those familiar with Bert's enthralling output will be worked up already, and the fact that the Strand lyrics are in Dutch for the first time will only make things even more interesting.
