He's been so busy touring and remixing that after last year's single "Origins/Rise", these are only the first two new Dundov tracks since the album. Petar's melodic signature sound in full effect. 'Woke' is Tiga's third release so far in 2017, and was recorded at Montreal's Lost Star Studios before he returned to Ibiza for the summer. He started this year with 'Eye Luv U' (co-produced by one half of Paranoid London), his first new material since 2016's 'Blondes Have More Fun', and the track that marked his return to Turbo Recordings. April saw Tiga vs Audion's 'Nightclub EP', the third collaborative release from Tiga and Matthew Dear, and the follow-up to their mega-hit 'Let's Go Dancing' and the micro-hit 'Fever'. The 'Nightclub EP' featured 3 new productions: 'Stabbed In The Back' (lead track), 'Pink Bells', and 'Nonstop', and picked up heavy support from Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Boys Noize, Dubfire, Kolsch, Heidi, Gerd Janson, Erol Alkan, Michael Mayer, and more.

Tom Ruij aka Tracey's palette of influences is wide and far-reaching, from the far-sighted futurism of Detroit and the deep space pulse of electro, to left-of-centre electronic experimentalism and the alien world of British and European IDM all of which are showcased on his Metamorphosis EP.

In order to celebrate 5 thrilling and inspiring years, we gathered well-known artists, Goldmin
regulars and emerging talents. It was really important for us to express the elusive nature of
the Goldmin sound, in the form of a compilation tracklisting. Over the past 5 years, we had
the chance to meet most of these guys in person, follow their very own creative path, share
ideas, thoughts and there's no doubt that they all had their part to play in crafting our sound.
This intimate and stimulating kind of collaboration had to be expressed and there couldn't be a
better way to capture what we've been busily working for, than a serie of Various Artists 12".
What it comes down to is a quintessential, hard-to-follow Goldmin selection devoid of any
specific standard or norm. And this whole compilation seems to reflect that non-septate
artistic direction, this little something, which has grown throughout our whole catalogue,
since the label's birth.That's why, picking these select few tracks, that could illustrate Goldmin
Music's essential freedom was probably our toughest work yet. It was also important to pick
only the most original and iconic tracks from each artist. In the end each track had to be their
most Goldmin one and they all have been tried in all types of situations, in club at 1 and 5
AM, on the highway at night or even staring at the ceiling during a sleepless insomnia
session. They all fullfilled their duty.

Gab Rhome is back on All Day I Dream with, believe it or not, his very first solo release. We first encountered our bowtie wearing friend via his collaboration with Maher Daniel way back in the label's catalogue. He dropped by again last summer as one of the tracks on our annual Summer Sampler release with 'Venus'. It rocked the Beatport Deep House chart for months. Continuing in that vein we find two wonky fun summery house tunes with rolling grooves, tinkling pianos, glassy sounds and memorable melodies...which is fun to say by the way...go on, say it. Say it out loud right now on your plane journey, in the coffee shop, hotel room or in bed with your cat... Words and music to make you smile.

Leaving convention at the door with the industrial ambience of opening track ‘Belief System’, before delivering a collaboration with label boss Mønic in the shape of ‘Loyal to the Unsung’, Jason Luxton’s latest outing as Overlook is no way concerned with conformity — something that should come as no surprise to anyone following an artist who’s always been comfortable walking the fine lines between multiple genres. On the B side, ‘Séance’ brings high-frequency tension over distorted drums, before proceedings conclude with a half-time swagger of ‘Sleight of Hand’.

Few albums have treated human voice and drone as a whole entity like ABoneCroneDrone, the third in a trilogy for Real World Records that this record closed back in 1996. In Sheila Chandra’s own words “it was about the gateways between vocal techniques from different cultures and how it was possible to cross between them within a single word or phrase.”

Indipop Recordings founder Steve Coe, probably best known for helping to popularise the term World Music in the early eighties, produced and worked with extreme accuracy along with Chandra on all drones and set a new industry standard of what was possible in the treatment of voice. With the help of bagpipes, didgeridoos and guitars, ABoneCroneDrone puts drones under the microscope and encourages listeners to retrain their ears to hear the nuances that musicians have always heard in them. Emitting low, chantlike waves, Chandra sings deep spaced atonal words while haunting chord sounds flow and drones slowly interact with listener.

This is the first vinyl pressing. It includes a fold-out insert with a new Sheila Chandra interview, original sleeve notes edited by Chandra herself and unseen pictures taken from the 1996 sessions. Limited to 500 copies, no digital release this time.

Echocord's Echo Echo sub-label continues with its third releases this August, courtesy of German producer and Credo founder Alex Bau with his 'Zenstory' EP. Germany's Alex Bau has been a prominent name on the underground DJ circuit on his home turf, and further afield, for three decaces as well as racking up an impressive back catalogue as a recording artists for labels like Cocoon, CLR, Sleaze and of course his very own Credo label which has been a platform predominantly for his own material whilst welcoming the likes of Kyle Geiger, Takkyu Ishino and Electric Rescue onto the imprint also. Here though we see Bau joining the roster of Echocord's fledgling sub-label Echo Echo with a new four-track EP and taking the lead on the package is 'Clouds' with pulsating low-end tones, hissing analogue noise and dusty drums samples all flowing in unison with ethereal chords and sweeping pads. 'Contour' follows, tipping the focus over to bubbling delayed stab hits, fluttering sub bass and evolving white noise bursts throughout. The 'Prelude' of 'Zenstory' opens the flip side and as the name would suggest it's a cinematic build up to the title-track featuring tension-building, expansive atmospherics ahead of the original mix which features a thumping muted kick, stuttering atmospheric echoes and spoken word vocal tucked into the depths of the record.

Tristan Douglas returns to Planet Mu with his third Antwood album, the epic ’Delphi’. Tristan has always used conceptual frameworks to facilitate the writing process and ‘Delphi’ is no exception. This time Tristan worked with his girlfriend Olivia Dreisinger to develop a fictional character: the young lovelorn Delphi. She is represented throughout by a recurring melody, with the album developing the story around her. Deeper than this however, ‘Delphi’ represents the hurdles faced by modern lovers, and those felt personally by Tristan, as the album encompasses a wide range of his emotions. The character ’Delphi’ finds solace in escaping to a place, her namesake, the ancient Greek city. She gets lost in her fantasy, realising it is not as she had idealised. “Olivia and I started making the album cover as soon as I knew what direction ‘Delphi’ was headed in. I took objects that had significance to me at the time of production and physically recreated them as “Delphi world” objects, so that the album’s narrative and each track are represented in the cover photo. If you flip the album over, there is a computer rendering by Paulin Rogues of the two landmarks in the ancient city of Delphi - not quite ancient or modern Delphi, somehow real life but also fantastical.” Delphi is an album where the real and the fantastic combine, where functional club music meets evocative piano miniatures. “I ended up working on ‘Delphi’ for over a year, where it developed and grew in parallel to my own life. DJ Pierre’s seminal Afro Acid welcomes a host of contemporary talents to remix Joyce Muniz including Oliver Dollar & Stefan Braatz, Alinka, Lauren Flax and Hannah Holland. The original single landed earlier this year and did plenty of damage around the world.

It is the German pairing of Oliver Dollar & Stefan Braatz who go first. The former is a master of sample heavy house with real heart, and often collaborates with Braatz. Here they offer a prickly version with chattery Chicago claps and bouncing drums and bass that will energise any set in style. Chicago native Alinka is next and is known for her weird and idiosyncratic take on house on labels like Crosstown, Classic and her own Twirl. She imbues her music with the spirit and history of the Windy City and here layers in acid flashes and machine gun like lasers that make for a brilliantly dark and involving groove.

Lauren Flax comes from Detroit by way of Brooklyn and has worked with the likes of Little Boots and Tricky, DJed at Panorama Bar and released her jack tracks on cult labels like Unknown to the Unknown. Here she fantastically builds the pressure with gliding hi hats that get under your skin as the fat bass props up the libidinous and seductive vocals and acid twitches. Last of all, UK sensation Hannah Holland is a queen of bass heavy sounds and brings that to her remix, which is a slick and kinetic track of prickly drums, acid stabs and freaky synth work.

This is a powerful package of fresh and forward looking house music.

Oscar Mulero is the man behind our release number 37, helped on remix duties by two of the main members of our team: Architectural and Tensal, who offer four different versions of Oscar's originals.
The first track is "Second Skin", with slow paced beats and dubby chords that mutate and run around the arrangement, taking us to the classic days of Basic Channel.
Architectural changes the bass drum, adds some low frequency punch and spreads the reverb at the beginning. He then adds wet and liquid drones and a profound stereo work. Mental techno at its best.
The digital version boasts an extra remix by Architectural. Its broken rhythms, slow tempos, atmospheres and reverberations make this rework an ideal opening track for intelligent techno sets.
"Rotar" keeps the slow tempos and the liquidness of the drums, adding some flanged percussion and using once more a chord-based synth to keep the flow. Tensal is the man in charge of these remakes. The first one, totally different from the original, has a compact kick and heavy subbass action, tensioned hats, filtered chords and continuous cabasa rhythms that transform a mental track into a club stomper. The digital bonus remix is closer to the original, on a more dub techno approach: round kicks, reverb spaces, growing chords and echo synths.

Bedroom Tapes is comprised solely of lost material from a recently discovered box of cassettes that emerged in the process of a house move. These tracks capture some of Paul Woolford’s most wide-eyed and naïve creative impulses at a tender age.

Seemingly lost forever, some were part of sessions that led to him being signed to now-defunct UK techno imprint Blue Basique. This is the first chapter in this archive and an intimate portrait of the artist at a key stage of his creative development.

The tracks have been carefully mastered with a loving hand by Matt Colton who has been meticulous to retain their idiosyncrasies.

Hailing from Philadelphia, city of the founding fathers and new resistance, Thomas Roland and James Weissinger, residents of local church Making Time, have been on our radar for a while now. It’s a pleasure to have them and their personal LSD spreading their gospel through our humble label:

Silo EP is a strong piece of work from Berg Jaar for Planet Rhythm. Jaar is known for producing powerful & outgoing techno with an exotic touch to it. This 4-track pack covers a lot of ground and should be an excellent choice for lovers of Techno with a more artful approach.

Belgian native Border One returns to Wolfskuil Records for his second EP. Steven Petit has build a solid reputation for himself as an pure and talented techno producer in just a few years. His music has been rinsed by the who’s who on the circuit. On the Insight EP he offers 4 distinct, diverse but intrically linked cuts in which his modular driven sound reached his full potential.

The EP kicks off with Moon, a relentless tune with a simple but catchy hook and minimalistic shuffling drum patterns that will drive any floor into a frenzy. Phantasmal takes things down a notch with a bleepy affair and thumping kickdrums.

On the flip the title track Insight take things up a notch using the main theme as a sonic elastic, fading in and out without ever reaching an ultimate climax. It’s the understated use of just a few elements, that make it hightly addictive. The twelve finds it’s epic closer in Sakebi. Beautiful dark string chords create an emotional undertone like the sometimes traumatic transition from the night into the day.

The legendary Moscow club Propaganda celebrates its 20th Anniversary in April 2017 and launches a brand new record label. The label will cover different styles of intelligent electronic music, focusing on techno in the first year. At the beginning there will be released music by great artists who had performances at Propaganda club in past. More artists will be involved and more excellent music will be released over time.

The latest compilation from Dutch imprint Wolfskuil Records offers up three more 'Secret Weapons' continuing the series with four artists already well at home on the label.As the title suggests, each track is a heavy-hitter, but as a whole this release acts as a showcase exposing three very different approaches to peak-time techno.

Doka marks his return on Wolfskuil Records with 'Inure' starting things off with a pummeling introduction full of wavering energy, tense murky depths, and a startling synthline. A much rougher, more distorted cut appears on the flip-side with Cadans & Kracht 'Lompret' summoning up warehouse memories with its echoing rough percussive hits that clamour for attention over an overdriven, crunchy backdrop. The final track by Tim Wollf 'Overt Agent' builds up from dense, groove-ridden beginnings into a climactic crowd pleaser, with a progressive surge of energy fed alongside a Detroit-inspired arrangement.

Born on a far out Milky Way galaxie thousands of northern stars away from the so called inner shuttle space planet, Emmanuel Top was concurring the Wasbi creatures. The never ending battle between a Techstar and inbreathe opposite electronic acid insects were the talk of the town. Explosions so loud not possible to hear with the ear were send to futuristic allies and came to the rescue with the primitive enemy of Drakija. In between this unforgiving telepathic chess game forbidden by the wise elderly a new sound was rising. Due all of this dramatic pleasure Emmanuel Top decided to compose this unbeatable 5 track package for a new planet called Earth, 3 tri poles beyond the roxy route stationary. It was ruled by the so called humans and their massive emperor Music. All in flavor of the French cult label 'faux calme' phonetically pronounced Fokalm.

Sigha brings his OCS imprint out of hiatus after four years and resurrects his Faugust alias for 'Parallel Rave Fantasies'.

Across five tracks the ep pulls together a clutch of his formative influences, leaning heavily on his early experiences with electronic music and placing them in with in the context of his contemporary production and sound design work.

Often doing away with traditional structures in favour of a more organic approach, the result is a set of tracks that both take in the dynamic of the dance floor and step away from it.

BROT 02 keeps the series going and brings a dub/breakbeat infused sound to the table as Felix Leifur continues to impress with the new soundscape he seems to delve into. BROT 5 & 6 lean towards the old jungle sounds and BROT 7 & 8 bring back the electro-tinged theme we started with.

Mr McKay is back on Drumcode with an EP that is very close to home, titled 'Glasgow Safari'. Harvey has blended his synonymous synth stabs and vocal hooks together and has created another outstanding EP.


The drums are fat and chunky as always and allow Harvey's ideas to flow effortlessly over a solid foundation. The smooth use of dynamic throughout Harvey's tracks also create impressive drops to add to another exceptional EP from Harvey.

The latest vinyl release from Berlin-based label KONFLKT is signed by up-and-coming producer Introversion who's been proving his worth with every release. 'Call to Adventure' is no exception: all 3 rave-inspired tracks as well as the remix by Kas:st hit that sweet spot of hypnotic albeit galvanising techno.

The eleventh output of Invite's Choice is compiled by label head Invite himself once again.

Inaricho's heavy bass grabs a hold of you right at the beginning of the track and doesn't let go. The effect sounds, topped with lots of reverb, add up to the dark sound. Kanda on the B-side starts out as a proper loop techno track that feels like a UK track from days gone by. Right in the middle the loop is broken by an eerie synth-sound that captivates the listeners attention. Kyobashi on B2 ends this EP with lots of attention for effects and a thrusting and pounding kickdrum. There is a lot of attention put on the percussive elements as well, which makes it the perfect pick for any dark basement.

In early 2018, Jas Shaw, one half of Simian Mobile Disco was diagnosed with a rare health condition – AL amyloidosis – a disorder of bone marrow cells. Having just completed SMD’s 7th studio album Murmurations and with a special show at the Barbican scheduled for April, things were thrown into confusion. At the time, no one, including Shaw, knew how the prognosis would pan out. Jas had to start chemotherapy almost immediately, which meant cancelling the tour. The duo decided to go ahead with the Barbican show in spite of Shaw’s illness, which was especially poignant as all involved knew it could potentially be SMD’s last ever live performance – in the end it turned out to be a tour-de-force. If this was SMD’s swansong, so be it.

In the year that followed, Jas spent months receiving weekly chemotherapy, learning to live with his condition, and when he felt well enough, spending hours in his studio making music.

The result of this was twofold, firstly a collaborative album with Derwin Dicker (Gold Panda), released as Selling – On Reflection, on City Slang Records Secondly, a growing archive of solo work, which is now ready for release. Entitled “The Exquisite Cops”, this 20+ track growing body of work will see the light of day via SMD’s Delicacies label – with a 2-track single released every fortnight /month and a limited
edition double LP scheduled for 27th September.

At the end of 2018 a difficult year was capped with hopeful news. With his condition in remission, able to stop chemotherapy Jas is able to start DJing and playing live again.

Jas: “The Exquisite Cops tracks seem to have made their own system for creation. Normally I record electronic music like a band would, as a take. So, it’s kind of surprising to me that that this batch of tracks wasn’t made this way. Instead of a single take that gets edited and developed these tracks were all made in bits, usually months apart. Some days I’d make a drum track, often editing it down so that it’s some sort of semblance of a structure; on other days I’d end up just making a synth sound or texture. This wasn’t something that I gave into reluctantly, it’s nice to be able to give a feedback based pad your whole attention rather than just set it up and only attend to it if it gets really out of hand.

The process of matching these misfits together was originally born out of laziness, rather than break open the synths to make something to develop an idea, what if I could just use something that I already had; slack. The interesting thing was that in pulling two takes together that were done months apart, they cast each other in a different light and though sometimes making them fit together was a hatchet job, sometimes they locked up together in an improbable way, making the rough structures that I’d improvised make a different sort of sense; often a more interesting sort of sense.

The more I did this the more it felt like this was not just a slacker’s way to use up offcuts, this resulted in combinations that I’d probably not have chosen if I’d done the tracks in one go. Also, and I know this isn’t something that’s important to everyone, there was a level of fastidious detail that I’d never have got if I’d had the textural and rhythmic elements playing together. It’s a longwinded process but it’s changed how I record and how I think about recordings I’ve made; plus I enjoy all parts of it so why cut it short?”

A UK native, Mark Reeve has been DJing since the young age of 16. A family move to Germany in the 90's expanded his horizons and musical repertoire but his Homebase sound remained the same - tech house and techno with groovy rhythms and bang out beats. As an artist, he has released on Drumcode, Cocoon Recordings, Soma, Intec, Bek Audio, Traumschallplatten, Trapez, Herzblut and Bedrock.
His tracks are always a mixture between dancefloor moovers - including groovy rhythms - and big basslines.

Impressed by her excellent taste and vision, OTB asked her to make an EP together. Foundations of this EP 'Too Stoned to Be a Rock' were laid during their visit to Berlin this winter and lives in the free zone between house and techno.

The working relationship between producer Psyk (a.k.a. Manuel Anós) and Mote-Evolver continues with the new Silent Witness EP, another episode showcasing Psyk's expert balance of technical variance and affective consistency.

The EP title brings to mind the kind of frozen state of awe that accompanies intense, revelatory experiences of all kinds, and the careful build-up of each individual track here allows plenty of room for such a state to come about. Put another way, Psyk's simple but dense constructions rise and fall with a perfect, patient arcing motion that make the music feel very much like a first contact with some uncanny new form of intelligence. "Disorder," for example, leads in with a curiosity-provoking combo of rubbery kick drum and gated synth sounds that seem like sonic accompaniment for observing the conduction of electricity across neuronal pathways. Its gradual intensification, via shivering and cleanly spaced cymbal accents and writhing / restless synth drone, acts like a microscope onto equally colorful imagined scenarios. The title track follows on this with a similar tempo and probing mood, but this time with sharper rhythmic edges, crisp hi-hats and swells that rise like mist over a darkened body of water.

"Apart" inaugurates the B-side with a classic club sound; one reliant on chaining together micro-snippets of sound into something epic and expansive. As with the previous two cuts, a master tone glides over this assemblage of tiny machines and sees that it reaches a satisfying conclusion. "Surrender" then ends this particular voyage with a vertiginous, omnipresent sequence guiding the way through a synthetic wilderness where chromed mandibles clack together and where hallucinated alert sounds lend an air of lurking danger.

Longtime fans of Psyk will find Silent Witness to be a very worthy addition to his catalogue, and also a worhty addition to any DJ sets that desire to mix raw energy with a carefully tailored sense of sophistication.

Underground techno fave Path Records is kicking off 2019 with a repress of its highly sought-after first release which came out way back in 1999. The excellent 'Why 2K' EP, a gorgeous piece of techno from Fate 258 a.k.a. label boss Reade Truth, remains a staple on the world's most underground dancefloors and has been widely regarded as a digger's trophy.

Reade Truth, an offspring from New York's Sonic Groove, has been spreading the message of electronic music since its beginnings. He has continuously released high quality techno on many seminal labels including Planet E, NSyde, and his recent album on Cartulis Music.

Path Records is known for their uniquely deep electronic visions. With a steady mixture of both new material and old unreleased tracks, the label remains hotly anticipated. Path 001x is the start of big things for Path this year, with forthcoming releases ahead from some of its other big projects Upsetting Keys and The Lotus Project.

Sad Girl delivers her first EP on Mary Black.
Nyx is the personification of the night and was born out of chaos. A shadowy figure like the mysterious Sad Girl herself. Standing at the beginning of creation, Nyx mothered Aether (brightness), Hypnos (sleep) and Oizys (pain), being the titles of the three original tracks. Keith Carnal did a fantastic remix of Oizys on the flip and completes this dreamy yet forceful trip from the darkness into the light and back into black.

Georgian artist Sophia Saze releases her debut two-part album 'Self' on Francis Harris' Kingdoms imprint, with part one dropping on cassette this June. "The record embodies my story of duality within the context of identity, insomuch as the idea that every person has a deeper layer we don't show on the surface."
Born in Tbilisi, Sophia Saze is the daughter of political refugees who's spent her life living in numerous different countries before eventually finding home in Brooklyn. Finding it difficult to find her own identity due to living a nomadic lifestyle, the classically trained musician became entangled with electronic music before becoming a key player within New York's nightlife scene and launching her Dusk & Haze imprint in 2017.
A reflection of her struggles throughout life, 'Self' is very much a memoir of the many different places she's lived during her journey, including Georgia, Russia, USA, France and Canada. Contrasting to her recent productions, which are geared more towards the dancefloor, her debut longplayer is downtempo and features a medley of musical influences - mixed in two parts and released as a concept album on cassette. Maintaining a sonically raw feel throughout, 'Self' draws the analogy of analog to modern day digital culture whilst also taking a stance against perfection, whether integrating the distance crackle of her machines or intentional off-beat piano notes in minor. Part One was conceived, for the most part, during a sleepless yet inspired 48-hour studio session. Processed field recordings accompany samples from her childhood, such as soviet cartoons and intimate VHS recordings of her family. The result is a well-seasoned and personal story portrayed in fourteen tracks mixed together.
"I feel the element of patience is somewhat of a lost commodity in our generation, particularly for albums. We're consumed by track to track interpretations and constantly searching for the next instant stimulation. With this record, I wanted to reiterate the idea that if you don't have the willingness to sit through the whole thing, then you're not stepping into it with the right mindset to begin with."
Every artist who collaborated on the record is handpicked, such as vocalist Ricardo Rivera. The final production was also mixed by Francis Harris himself. All of their involvement means they share a fragment of the concept.

In F22.0, waves of paranoia break over driving, asymmetric rhythms, offset by soothing, whispered vocals. Kogn. Dissonanz maintains the tension, making clever use of polyrhythms and blasts of machine gun fire. Break The Limits are Bay B Kane and Mister E, two East London underground pioneers who released pivotal and visionary EPs between 1990 and 1991.

Together, they produced some of the most innovative music of the era, a blueprint for the emerging warehouse / hardcore / breakbeat scene in the UK.

In the same way 1977 was a crucial year for punk's explosion, 1990 was a madly creative and truly revolutionary year for dance music, the essence of which is captured in these tracks.

Picture this: a low ceiling sweating red brick basement somewhere far, far away at Marshgate Lane, where multicolored lasers, turbosound, wacky dancers, all part and parcel of the ecstatic rush.

DJs like Fabio, Bukem or Matthew B would spin an evil blend of early hardcore and NY house, with live PA set by up and coming acts like The Prodigy, Unique 3 or Satin Storm.

This was universal unity, complete mayhem and total freedom taking a country by storm, with a mutant groove that later became the grooves of all the grooves.

Nearly 30 years later, it's still fresh.

Produced in Satin Storm's studio (another pioneer), Part One has shades of deep house, techno bleeps and breakbeat blended in an intuitive and innovative way.

This limited EP reissue marks the first chapter in a completely remastered reissue campaign of the much sought-after Break The Limits project by Musique Pour La Danse.

Ten years and twice as many records have come out since Public Release shared its inaugural 12-inch with the world, and it feels fitting to mark the occasion of its twentieth with new work by a steady partner in crime, Mark E. The English Midlander, known as a peddler of classic house laced with the unexpected—sprinklings of frisky Italo and wiggly disco here, splatterings of taut techno and woozy dub there —made his P.R. debut with 2016’s steamy industrial chugger, Sky Horn, and has also been a frequent remixer for the Northern Californian label.

The 12-inch starts on a bone-chilling note with the titular track, a spartan warm-up that’s a creeping bass on the low end, wispy pads in the mids, and a scratchy looped vox sample on top designed to haunt your dreams. A freaky intro that unnerves as it allures. On the move now, Mark burrows deeper into a hypnotic groove with “Shelter,” a midtempo cyborg cut, half round, warm, organic percussion, half cold-tothe-touch synth chord sustains. The energy and urgency feels like new territory, but the execution is signature Mark E.

On the reverse is a pair of more melodious tunes, the shuffling cyberpunk groove that is “M-54,” then the prickly “Shinkansen,” which has a sputtered and bleary-eyed thrust to make feet jitter and hips shake.

A twist on the man's disciplined studio workmanship that we've come to know—arrow-straight arrangements, celery-crisp drums—that’s spiced with a few pinches of psychedelic, inside-out wickedness, devilishness to keep you wired, buzzing.

Clip releases his debut album Magnetic Reconnection on Seeking the Velvet in collaboration Red Bull Music Academy Spain.

This arduous and mature production consists of eight tracks that plunge us into a journey full of analog sounds, dark textures, drones and a futuristic techno. These ingredients are a faithful reflection of the two cities in which the album has been recorded: Berlin and Barcelona.

During its 38 minutes, Clip delivers a complete journey in which he consolidates a unique sound and way of composing. The album will be released on 12" vinyl and a digital format that will include two bonus tracks. In addition, and in order to create visual consistency, the covers of both releases -single presentation Gamma Ray and this album Magnetic Reconnection- have been commissioned to the designer and visual artist Viktor Autofocus, one half of the duo Realmente Bravo. This creative project has recently worked alongside Agorazein (led by rapper C.Tangana).

This new EP released under Cora Novoa's project SKTVT showcases Clip's new haunting sound landscapes, as the RBMA ex-alumni class 2011 (and the second Spanish artist chosen to participate in its international edition) moves forward from the influence of UK house that underlid his previous releases while adding a superbly distant, darker tone that evokes an analog techno futurism.

While being best known for creating deeply immersive live psychoacoustic experiences, the London based Pataphysical have allowed us to use 'Periphera', the fruits of their debut studio work, as the label's eighth musical oblation. It would have been an exercise in futility to try and replicate the immediacy of their live performances on this record, but we feel that across these 8 disparate tracks inner worlds have been rendered real. Through the careful positioning of field recordings and the creation of soundscapes somewhat reminiscent of heyday Mille Plateau the group have held fast to a desire to craft involved and captivating synthesis.

After making music individually for a couple of decades, Peraud and Ferguson decided to collaborate for the first time, joined together by an instinctive desire to blur the boundaries between improvisation and composition.

FZR Sethi is a visual artist, musician and composer who works in several mediums under the expression of draw/paint/volume/sound. His work, either canvas or sculpture, hinges on the fundamental principles of his art, as evidenced in his use of the geometric form.

Ferguson created his alias Rubbish T.C (Rubbish Techno Consortium) in 2015, producing slow and heavy techno made with martial patterns of movement. A producer for 15 years, Rubbish T.C. has been prominent in the free party scene for years.

Moving away from a dance-inflicted mode, Sâd Hu achieves more of a balance with skill and craft. A dense, textural approach hints at something more expansive and insidious. Diversity and richness unexpectedly coalesce into an eerie, percussive scapefest over sonorous layers of droning bass tones and raw power.

A joint release between Natural Sciences and FTP, Texas Terrotech volume 1 is a combination of hyper-frentic futurism with the gritty global sound of the streets, wherever it comes from. It's the pop music on the radio, combining that with innately adaptable, yet eminently absorbable form which evolved in these different little things, all compatible , yet closely related. When they are decoded from the genome of our global musical collective, their inter-relatedness becomes even more clear, and a new perspective can be gained.

The internet made everything smaller. It turned the territory into the map, destroying the physical borders between geography and genres, reducing it into digital code, breaking it into bite-sized bits. This is the sound of the phuture digesting the people.

Venezuela born, Barcelona based Cardopusher's career goes back over 12 years- the proverbial 10,000 hours to master a skill long fulfilled. His forthcoming LP "New Cult Fear" on Boysnoize Records proves it through disciplined, focused craftsmanship. It's the type of no-frills production that deceives the amateur listener with it's simplicity, while the seasoned listener knows that the simpler the elements, the harder it is to make a track that moves the dancefloor. Moving dancefloors it does, although there's few smiles to be had. This is music for dark rooms, for Nitzer Ebb's famous pairing of "muscle and hate." This is being electrocuted by a broken TB-303- only you find the feeling erotic, your exclamations recorded on a haunted reel-to-reel. And it's never sounded so good.

Released on Slater’s iconic ‘Freek Funk’ album on NovaMute - one of the most seminal techno albums of the 90s - ‘Love’ finally gets the remix treatment it deserves more than two decades after its initial release.
Leading the charge, Burial makes one of his rare appearances on remix duties and doesn’t disappoint with an atmospheric and mesmerising reimagining with an aesthetic reminiscent of ‘Untrue’. Lucy then reels out a deep-diving techno roller with precision kicks and tantalising melodies. Luke Slater then adopts his The 7th Plain moniker for a collage of sound extending past the 15-minute mark, before upping the energy with a moody reverberating number as Planetary Assault Systems.
Marcel Dettmann his ‘City remix' features a cacophony of metallic rhythm, ebbing pads and plenty of swing whilst mantra-like vocals operate throughout. Cascading drums and lively trumpets is next in Silent Servant’s upbeat and infectious take.
