Leading on from Collapsing Market's celebrated release of Persian Classical music by Morteza Hannaneh in 2017, 'Eurosouvenir' further examines Eszaid's fascination with the connections between finance, human emotion, music and art, as previously explored in the impending atmospheres and blunted rhythms of his two previous 12's.
The nine track essay offers Louis Vial a.k.a. Eszaid's most concentrated yet spectral designs, using samples, machines and field recordings to limn a the outlines of overbearing machinery and the feeling of impending dread. But thanks to a fine, suggestive sense of minimalist ambiguity and ghostly inference, the session isn't necessarily pessimistic, allowing for the notion that the darkest hour always comes before dawn, and that beauty may still spring in the space between '..an idealised ancient and creative Dionysian Europe and the current one, where free market and low-cost tourism values stand.'
Working in aesthetic space somewhere between Eszaid's fellow Paris resident, Ron Morelli, Tuning Circuits' 'power electronics' style, and the most stripped down S. English gear, the results
range from pulsating steamroller rhythms such as 'XEU.4217', to isolated, empty stomach tones in 'Derivation Lente' and the subbass rumble of 'Notre Mer' on the first side, before opening
out stealthily in the B-side to more nervously pent feelings between the harmonic shimmer of 'Souvenir 1', the plangent, syncopated drums of 'Alicante', and the tip-toe ready stepper 'GRD.4217'.

Ghost in the Machine is back with a record that's even newer than their previous one! Three extremely detailed and hard-hitting percussion-heavy techno workouts are rounded out by an extremely detailed and slightly less hard-hitting percussionheavy techno workout that goes straight for the grundle. Also recommended for women and children.

Oktave Records returns for the third installment from the label, once again featuring owner and proprietor Jeff Derringer at the helm. The 'Factions' EP shows Jeff at his most direct and robust, with three tracks of meticulously constructed techno.

'Factions' starts the EP and goes straight for the heart of the dance floor, with a tunneling groove that lures the listener into hypnosis before a devastating break takes the track to a whole new level of intensity. This one is for the ravers, no doubt.

The flip side starts with 'Penalty Phase', another floor-focused stunner that features Jeff's signature kick drum and drive, coupled with evolving synth arpeggios and melancholy vibes for those early club mornings as the sun comes up. Finally, 'The Second Plane' slows the tempo down a bit and ends the record with a thoughtful broken beat arrangement reminiscent of early Warp.

'Factions' was written during the winter of 2018 and mastered by Tim Xavier at Manmade Mastering.

A Prison Of Predictions is the first LP from the Ownlife label (excepting SELD series, focused in pressing back gems from two decades ago) and also by the person behind it. Leiras.
On it, the producer showcases a compendium featuring the characteristic sound of the platform, pushing ahead cyclical techno together with tracks that evoke the persistence of remembrance. Echoing the preterit sound of Sandwell District and renewed sound formulas from almost two decades of UK electronica. Ambient brush strokes outline soundscapes surrounded by analogue sounds that share space with more direct and snappy songs. A scape on the frenetic side of electronica with an IDM-leaning end closes the equation.

Substantiating his versatility as a producer with the label's previous 10 titles and undoubtedly confirmed on this record, Leiras offers a consequent closing for the first stage of Ownlife, which finishes on this point in order to look for new sound structures for the next transmissions.
This LP has been created in Berlin during the last months using mixed recording techniques with the purpose of conceiving a narrative thread that gives coherence to the release; without doubt an inflection point in Leiras' discography

achim Nordwall marks 20 years of his iDEAL label with 'The Black Book', a blinding sweep of original material from JASSS, Stephen O'Malley, Ramleh, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, Carlos Giffoni &
Prurient, Ectoplasm Girls, JH1.FS3, JS Aurelius, Autumns, John Duncan, and many more.The story of iDEAL starts out in London 1998, when Nordwall was living the hardscrabble life: working in an underwear shop near Liverpool Street station; living in a filthy Bayswater apartment; scoring industrial records from the Music and Video Exchange; getting drunk in cheap pubs, and dreaming of starting a new record label and platform. He called it iDEAL, and 180 releases, 20 years later, it has become an invaluable node for non-standard, wayward expressions of modern electronic noise in all its mutable variation.
iDEAL's success and longevity may well be down to the way that Nordwall treated it as a social and artistic home, offering a place where mutually exclusive styles could bed down away from the
mainstream or the genre police, and feed into a much larger, work-in-progress definition of fringe music. 'The Black Book' extends, in the spirit of the label, an idealised compilation of disparate possibilities connected by a sense of musical mystery and chaotic energy.
To focus on just a few highlights, the ever unpredictable JASSS makes a notable inclusion with the serene vignette of LP opener, 'Parental Youth', while Jim O'Rourke unfurls 17 minutes of gloaming post-industrial drone with 'In Regards'. Label friend Jonathan Uliel Saldanha contributes the tense, searching horns of 'Siren Frontier', and Ectoplasm Girls cook up the grim, thrumming electronics of 'Neuropean'. Pivotal, peerless DJ/selector and Minimal Wave overse'er Veronica Vasicka serves her solo debut on Downwards in 'From Here', a dank industrial-pop workout recorded in 2004 and
now issued for the first time, backed with sick remixes by Regis, Paul Kendall (Depeche Mode, Nitzer Ebb) and Robert Hampson (Loop, Main) in his lesser-spotted Chasm alias.
Penned on analog synth and 4-track tape recorder in 2004, one year before Veronica established the Minimal Wave label, the ripped metal textures and spectral vox of 'From Here' forms a rare snapshot of her daily, diaristic working practice, putting sounds to
tape as a personal form of expression that was never intended to be heard by other ears.
Lucky for us then, that Downwards' Karl O'Connor (Regis) has coaxed this dark, anxious beauty out for release, and teamed it with some very special remixes. 'From Here' renders Veronica in the dark, naturally working against the grain of 2004's
underground dance music trends to pursue her passion for classic and obscure strains of dance music, from New Wave to Italo and early house - all the kind that would turn up on her regular show for East Village Radio, the Manhattan, NYC station she co-founded in 2003. With hindsight, we hear Veronica as a displaced soul doing her thing in a way that would become inarguably more widespread over the coming decade and more, which was in no small part due to her focussed efforts working behind the scenes, overlapping and fomenting a nexus of musics that shared more in common than was usually acknowledged at that time.
Now appearing in 2018, 'From Here' perhaps finally feels at home in the skin of a scene obsessed with ghosts in the machine. And the remixes only emphasise the material's timeless, out-of-joint nature: from a slickly arpeggiated Regis version which sounds like
it could have been made any time between 1981 to 2018, thru to a pummelled and serrated industrial remix from Paul Kendall, who has previously worked on classics by Depeche Mode and Nitzer Ebb, to a killer and maybe surprising highlight from Robert Hampson as Chasm, stoking it with gnashing drum machines and keening dub FX for a sort of industrial-dub-dance-pop sidewinding outta time and place.

For the eighth release on Roberto's Fossil Archive imprint, a very special collaboration which was produced by Roberto and the late Trevino (aka Marcus Intalex) shortly before his tragic passing in 2017 is poised. The release features three original cuts, along with a previously unreleased remix Roberto put together of 'Black Cat' which featured on Trevino's album 'Front'.
The music speaks for itself. However, to honour Marcus, a short poem has been put together by one of his closest friend's.
'Music is the great tree that stands alone, every second twisting and turning, straining and stretching, as each leaf and branch fights for the closest spot to the sun. The artists are the leaves and to the untrained eye, so plentiful and all look the same. While delicate and vulnerable to the changing of seasons, or taste.
But astonishingly one solitary leaf falling to the ground can make shockwaves that can be felt on the other side of the world and have a legacy that will always be remembered.Marcus taught us all to create music that way.' New label - 'New Info' kicks off with a beguiling ambient LP from multi disciplinary artist Orlando FitzGerald. An ethereal exploration of waste, greed and ultimately the failures of our society.

At times jarring and uneasy, the record is interspersed with sublime moments of clarity that give the disorientated listener just the occasional flash of optimism in the face of ecological disaster, all the while the artists voice occasionally appearing to guide the listener gently through this post-apocalyptic audio wasteland.

Describing his own journey, FitzGerald describes the process behind this album: "Last winter, during a period of intense mental isolation/ alienation, totally consumed in the research for this album, I started to feel disconnected from humankind to an extent that i felt no-longer human Instead, I felt as if I was a visiting body watching a society implode. Emile Facey (Plant43) has been at the forefront of electronic for more than twelve years. During that time the British producer has released on a host of seminal labels, expanding his style and sound in new directions. Although Plant43 is typically classified as a purveyor of electro, behind those driving rhythms and steely percussion a tenderness has always been present, an emotion expressed in lilting melodies and complex harmonies. It is these melodies and harmonies that come into focus on Plant43's debut ambient album. On "From Deep Streams" is a rich and textured tapestry of synth work, a soundtrack that organically unfurls from nightime woodland walks and city stargazing to mindful solitude. The eight tracks offer the listener a calming journey into stillness, an excursion through gentle audio currents and a moment to pause and take in an inspiring vista of sound. Recorded over the space of 3 months, this album gives the quiet, the subtle and the sometimes underappreciated centre stage whilst casting light on yet another side of Emile Facey's ever-evolving music.

Yaleesa Hall is back on his home label Will & Ink with two EPs in quick succession. Side A: Indochina, people, nature, instruments - this is "My Trips". It's a story about far places and smiley people.
The other 3 positions on the release are booked for "Musical Gili" - Hindu temples and incenses which let us to zone out.
The second track on the side A is an atmospheric remix from Jacek Sienkiewicz's hands, the owner of Recognition and one of the oldest Cocoon Recordings players.
On the Side B we find "Musical Gili" in original version and Michael Wolski's remix with a strong technical accent at the end. Wolski is our man from International Day Off and TECHNOSOUL

Up next on Arcing Seas is Magna Pia with his second EP after his 2016 debut 'Incantations' on Coun-terchange. Behind the alias is Hüseyin Evirgen, one half of Cassegrain. ARCS-05 has a clear focus of providing combative dance floor trips, unorthodox sonic moods with subtle 90s techno references. The EP's track titles 'Artemisia", 'Semiramis' and 'Akasha' pay tribute to three mighty ancient heroines of very different origins. TUTTI is comprised of eight soundscapes: an audio self portrait comprising of manipulated sound recordings from Cosey's life, music and art:
'It's the only album I've made that is an all encompassing statement expressing the totality of my being. A sense of the past in relation to the present and everything in between.'

These eight pieces were originally conceived as the soundtrack to the autobiographical film 'Harmonic Coumaction', and performed live in February 2017, part of a series of events that accompanied the COUM Transmissions retrospective which opened Hull UK City of Culture 2017. Later that year, 'Harmonic Coumaction' was presented as an audio-visual installation for Cosey Fanni Tutti's solo exhibition at Cabinet Gallery, London.
Cosey Fanni Tutti explains: 'Working on the COUM Transmissions exhibition also coincided with writing my autobiography - collating archive material and re engaging with my past. My work is a continuum, the past feeding the present and vice versa. The album is an interpretation of my past and present, of my understanding the shifting perceptions of how they inform one another. One form creating another through a metamorphic process.'

On TUTTI, the music has been updated and enhanced with elements of the original tracks re-recorded and further processed specifically to create a unique stand-alone document, separate to the live performance and installation. Recorded at Cosey Fanni Tutti's studio in Norfolk, the album, as on her debut release, Time To Tell, merges Cosey's art activities with her exploration of sound: The album's autobiographical theme is not locked into any specific time or place, the 'voices', instruments and sounds together span decades of my life, music and art. In this context my name 'TUTTI' shifts from its role as a noun to perfectly represent the concept of the album, also acting as sign for me the artist.
TUTTI is Cosey Fanni Tutti's only solo album release since 1982's Time To Tell. Time To Tell was recently given its first release on vinyl, on a long awaited official deluxe edition. The interim years between solo releases has seen a blisteringly prolific output as an artist and musician. Renowned for her art, her work in the sex industry, as co-founder of Industrial music and Throbbing Gristle, and her pioneering electronic music solo and as Chris & Cosey, Carter Tutti and Carter Tutti Void, she has created throughout with the motto 'my life is my art, my art is my life'.

Cosey's autobiography ART SEX MUSIC was published to worldwide acclaim by Faber & Faber in 2017, a Japanese edition has just been published with further translations and an audio book to follow. TUTTI

Redimension is the label project of Joseph Capriati and is run as a platform to champion music that showcases the more underground side of his taste in techno. Along with tracks from the label boss himself, it's also featured contributions from Adam Beyer, Anthony Parasole, Flavio Folco and Rino Cerrone.

Now on its sixth release, the labels latest EP is from Klaudia Gawlas, a leading lady in the world of techno who plays DJ gigs all over Europe and other parts of the world. Her skills behind the decks and crowd reading abilities are second to none, and those honed skills have translated into the explosive tracks she produces.

Working with a great number of highly respected record labels she has consistently proven herself to be a skilled producer, and she delivers the goods once again with a stunning four track EP of dark and thundering techno.

The Siren' opens the show with crunching percussion and acid pulses that grow with ominous tension, whilst the dance floor focused framework of the mechanical groove ensures maximum impact. Fast and ferocious, this hard- itting cut takes no prisoners with a menacing sound.

Keeping the same tough vibe, Lightnings' is second on the EP with fast flowing hi-hats, clap rhythms, and hypnotic synth work. The eerie atmosphere present in this immersive cut of ground shuddering techno adds to its overall exhilaration of the track's aggressive style.

Track three Niet' focuses in on a sensual vocal layered over a tough percussive groove, which combine to create a captivating eloquence both unnerving and alluring. Distinctive and full of personality, there is no doubt that for many DJ's this will be the main attraction of the EP.

Closing proceedings is The Whirl' that uses an arpeggiated lead synth to create an uplifting mood to this otherwise sinister cut. Unrelenting in its onslaught, the invigorating strength of the tracks up-tempo and energetic momentum is like a
tsunami of sound.

From the westcoast of Sweden Neunaugen gives you three funky-space-electro-acid tracks for the dancefloor. No chance to sit still when this is played. Electro boogie!

Single Sided 12" Featuring An Underground Resistance Remix Of Radioslave's "trans" On Rekids.

Depth Structure I is the sound of voices that speak from deep beneath the undertow, clearer than reason, twice as loud, and just as never-ending. It suggests the light and beckons us to it, all while swallowing us like darkness. Gradually, with repeated trips down the path, we have internalized the map. It has become part of us. We know the way. On the Earth and in the Mind.

The common ground travelled is perceptible in the music created for this release. Reggy Van Oers reaches dizzying heights as Encircling Persistence shows itself as the sound of a bird of prey descending and ascending upon it´s victim, gliding before our eyes, buzzing in our minds. Pvnv deploys a driving rhythm, accentuated by creaking resonance and allowing a twinkling pattern to rise from it, that gives a sense of urgency to the track, like fireflies at high speed, with Antic Hands. Repart defines a Paradigm in the journey by imposing a bubbling bass pattern that feels like it´s pushing and pulling at the beat, and raising the tension with creeping rattling pattern and a propulsive, rhythmic phrasing of the synth line. Massa himself seems to channel the Earth´s pulse on Terra, as the steady rhythm is graced by crystalline and glistening pads that feel like a fresh trickling current in the humid, lush forest ground.

Since the release of their album Wonderland a couple of years ago, Demdike Stare have been recording material for this new doublepack Passion; an asymmetric re-imagining of UK club styles taking in frenzied drum trax, shortwave jungle, pinging dancehall and clipped, post punk riddims. During this time they've been busy curating their DDS label (inc releases from Shinichi Atobe, Mica Levi, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe and Equiknoxx, among others) and have been commissioned by both the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) and the surviving members of Gruppo di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza to mine and rework their archives. Enlisting visual artist Michael England (Autechre, Gescom, Leila), they've created a cinematic accompaniment for their collaborative live shows, resulting in the image which adorns this cover - a hybrid/composite portrait exploring/questioning the current use of software in creating hyper reality and the manipulation of the self. The accompanying film Includes documentary footage filmed at a Voguing event in NYC, Blackpool promenade and a Newark, New Jersey roller rink, the end result smudgng the lines between live performance, documentary and sonic cinema. It's an idea that's echoed on Passion, continuing a process Demdike began on their Testpressing series of dismantling lines between analogue and digital realms, between urban realism and fantasy, between experimental, pop and soundsystem cultures. An outlandish configuration of avant-garde and ultimately functional club weapons designed and honed for the weightiest bassbins, it's also their most direct and fucked up record to date - a raucous, joyful 9-track smash that comes off like a night on a glamorous, neon-lit bender.

I'm more than excited to start my new label GTO with these tracks as they represent a sound aesthetic that I'm excited about and I would simply describe as: Techno. No limits.'

It's time to get acquainted with GTO... And it starts with another superb collaboration with long time friend and collaborator Petar Dundov.

'Stellarius' and 'Anthropogenic' show Gregor and Petar at their most energetic, forward-thinking and enthused. The former is a pacey drive into the unknown with layered synths weaving in and out of perspective to hypnotic effect while the latter shows a darker side to the duo as harmonic bass textures rumble with a rich loin-girding sinister feel and a carnal funk that springs off the off-beat hi-hats. Gregor explains the inspiration behind both compositions...

'Stellarius to me, is the biggest and most powerful track to emerge from our recent studio sessions. From the day we made it, I knew I wanted to save it for something very special. Well, I guess the occasion is here.'
