After a short break, Caduceus Records returns with a weighty techno 12" by long-time friend Pascal Hetzel. The Berlin-based producer delivers four storming tracks that cleverly translate the 90s techno heritage into the present. On "Motion Blur" a hypnotic bleep sequence gives way for majestic pad sweeps just in time for your serotonine rush. "Stutter" is more restrained, with a modulating chord sequence and sturdy drums, while "Timelapse" catapults into darker territory filled with industrial shrapnel and an extra bit of high-octane paranoia. "Strobe" is the fittingly titled closer of the ep. A pummeling piece of monochrome techno hypnosis with a massive kickdrum drenched in reverb and icy atmosphere.

The Acid Master 'Steve Parker' is making his 'Be As One' Debut with a storming 4 tracker ep in the form of 'Shades Of The Unknown'. while keep exploring the diversity of the Acid sound, Steve, 'the man and the machine' crossing boundaries once again with his highly intelligent production style and trips between rough and soft cross genera techno .

Loco Dice's Desolat label serves up a huge package here from Russia's finest underground house and techno production and DJ export, Tripmastaz. His four track EP is a testament to his ability to cook up chunky club groves that cannot fail to make their mark. That is immediately proven with title track Wax Mania", a bulky techno roller with monstrous kicks, raved up synth stabs and knocking percussion that all invite you to stomp along to the groove before some jazzy chords enter the mix and funk things up. Taped Chrome' was written and recorded in one session, was recorded straight to tape and is an angst ridden, edgy peak time cut with coarse claps, loud, alarm-like synths and grumbling bass that will rattle the walls of any club. The perfectly dark and consuming Till Melted' has pinging rubber kicks swaying beneath all sorts of withering and whirring synth lines and is a perfect freak out tune. Full of mischief and intensity with lots of subtle effects all adding to the tension, it is one that will get fists pumping in any set. Finally, F What You Heard' is a deeper house cut with a synth line that rises and falls in loudness, sucking you in as it goes whilst blocky drums stomp out a thick groove. This is effective, solid dancing music that is also hugely fun from the Russian star. Enjoy.

Derailleur announces new vinyl label Decade Box with the first in a series of releases to share the fruits of his dedication to machine made music. Set for release this September, Hydraulic Performer EP will be the first record on Decade Box. Acting as a sonic time capsule, the imprint will present the music honed by the producer over the last 10 years.

The release sets the tone for the label series, showing off two different sides of Derailleur’s production styles. Title track Hydraulic Performer is a raw and cutting rave-primed electro track. Radioactive Man is called up for remix duties, upping the ante with his precision drum programming and unique sonic trademark. Device One rounds up the EP… a wonky, jacking cut warmed up by stepping synths.

Following his timely 2004 debut on Varial, Derailleur has also released on Dust Science, Soma and Harmless. With a strong commitment to hardware based recording and performance, 2019 brings in a new chapter for the France based producer and DJ.

Spanish techno stalwarts JC Cabrera and Kastil come together once again for their No Spiritual Surrender project, this time debuting on L.I.E.S.
Go to the a-side for direct, rhythmic, textured and dense techno gear. The b-side offers a different affair ramping up the bpm, exploring broken beats and spacious atmospheres for the more adventouerous dj. Limited to 300 worldwide.

Roman producer, DJ and label head Marco Passarani’s rich catalogue of releases fuse techno, boogie, electronica and funk into evocative soundscapes. Here, on “6489 Golevka,” a murmuring bass rises under sparkling synth stabs, while on “Mesosiderite,” an acid bassline provides a gentle undercurrent to a deluge of iridescent synth washes. On “Exit Velocity,” an energetic beat propels nostalgic crescendos of melody; while “Roche Limit” is an agitated jack track that tumbles together sampled vocals and a dystopic circus melody.

SANSIBAR - Vaseline
Sunny Seppä aka Sansibar has been surfing the audio waves of Helsinki sound systems, playing live and as a DJ, sharing a vision of electronic modernism and utopian desire. 'Vaseline' is an elegant electro galaxy cruiser for the late hours and sensitive strobes that follow the relentless helicopter bass line giving the necessary drive over which spatial chords, submarine creatures and robotic choirs create an atmosphere of timelessness that defies gravity and classification.

ANN HIKO - Ohm
Noah Kin is an interdisciplinary artist who shifts into the shape of Ann Hiko. Trading Hiko's signature sound palette for arpeggios, drones and crystal strings, building an electric cathedral of symmetric transparent geometrical structures that reshape with electromagnetic energy of an invisible underground power plant that produces a constant vibration (of life or lack thereof).

DENZEL - Distraction 01
The cosmic wandering spirit of Dennis Okoth, signing under the name of Denzel, found its place to contribute in elevating human consciousness in Techno, doing the dj thing and programming beats and nighttime visions. 'Distraction' is a solid and deep dance floor workout for the serious housecats who love to connect their bodies to machines operated by aliens.

ENDAMISI SALAMISI - Rentsel
The 'Future star of Estonia' (Eesti Ekspress) invented his music in the disconnection of the small village he grew up in - the freedom of not being over stimulated by the constant noise of nowadays web technocracy led him to develop his very own take on poetry and production. Rentsel develops just like that, opposed elements floating in space and attracting each other, in his own words: 'I really like video game water, more than the real thing even, cause I can't swim. I love dogs, but I'm also afraid of them. I live on the 9th floor, but I'm afraid of heights. Nature is my sanctuary.

BinarySound is back with artists from all around the globe on this second EP.

A-side delivers two intricate 4 on the floor groovers by French mainstay Le Loup & Iranians newcomers Tonnovelle. On the flip side sits two laid-back, hypnotic broken beats from Danish legend Martinez and Japanese sensei Takashi Himeoka. A record for people with a slow Internet connexion who still like to go fast.

We write the year 2020, the Internet killed the Video star, Pop is dead, and once again, Karapapak has decided to open the doors to The Vault to give us a duo of eclectic, 80s production tinged Dancefloor Homeruns, bending the genre-borders of Techno almost to a breaking point. On one side we are presented with “I Can Rave On My Own” and while it is the more orthodox of the two tracks, it is absolutely mind-bending in its intensity. Focussing on a steadily building Acid Synth and Karapapak’s trademark percussion, it simply builds and builds and builds over it’s entire runtime, almost reminding one of the ecstatic dancers in a Gospel Sermon. On the other side though, we see Karapapak go truly wild, while also paying homage to one of the greatest electronic musicians of all time with “Bang That Alter”. The french house influence is palpable throughout the track, from the samples to the percussion, however nothing can prepare the listener for the Kickdrum plot-twist that happens at the half-way point. No spoilers here. Just listen. You won’t regret it. Because The Vault only carries Gold.

Debut for the 22 year old, talented Georgian artist Nicole Popkhadze, Batumi born but Tbilisi based and already referred to as one of the leading Dj & Producers from the vibrant Georgian club Scene. Nicole holds a residency at the legendary club Cafe-Gallery and despite her very young age she has cultivated her very own personal approach to Djing and quickly gained a strong reputation for her energetic and emotive sets. Energy and emotions are also the driving force behind her first official release, which consists of 4 tracks (although they should be regarded more as songs other than tracks) that subtly and masterfully blend Detroit and IDM elements in a very modern way, but without deviating into the classic oldschool nostalgia and resulting in a sound that is extremely deep, personal, modern and mature.

Fresh for 2018 the ever pioneering Octave One are bringing us some brand new music for the new year. Using their much loved Random Noise Generation alias the upcoming release entitled 'N2 The Enfinate, contains a new single as well as a remake of 'Rock my Soul' in the form of the 'Reborn Vocal Remix'.

The first Random Noise Generation release was 'Falling in Dub' in 1991 and sounding just as fresh 27 years later, 'Enfinite Soul EP' is due for release this April.

For this single a retro energy has been explored in the title track 'The EnFinate', running parallel to a more contemporary groove and rolling, marauding baseline. The second track on the package, 'Rock my Soul' (Reborn Vocal Remix) starts with a strong intent and a weighty bassline paving the way for precise and bright chord stabs.

The single is taken from the new album 'Endustry', a full body of work encompassing 7 full length cuts, set for release in spring.

central Mediterranean Sea. Stories of hope and despair, often tragic by the will of
powerful and egoistic people.

Each track describes a fase of the crossing of the Sicilian channel: Fuga is the escape from
the Libyan prisons, Gommone is the crossing on an inflatable raft that often finds a tragic
epilogue, Approdo is the battle between humanitarian aids and governments to find a
place of safe, Abbraccio is the tragic history of mother and son found at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea still hugging each other.

It’s harsh techno, slow, with vivid images, lot’s of tension and bleak atmospheres. All titles are in
Italian because this story is part of the history of Italy.

Ahrpe Records co-founder Amandra navigates a unique space between droning ambience and polyrhythmic funk on 'Dame De Bahia', his first release to emerge on Italian imprint Obscura. This is the French, Warsaw-based producer's second album and follows a string of acclaimed EPs on Ahrpe, Semantica, Tikita and Silent Season. Complex patterns are woven through sustained tone clusters to foster an unlimited sense of energy and focus. Radiant synths glisten over live percussive loops whilst infinite pads wander the boundaries of light and dark. Amandra uses minimalist techniques to build tranquil sonic spaces that evolve on their own accord, making way for carefully mapped out rhythmic cycles. The result is an immersive listening experience replete with subtle details, but never cluttered. "Moody and lightful, this album combines many aspects I cherish in electronic music. Dame De Bahia LP is a direct nod to my beloved Mediterranean roots."

Realm Of The Void is the second instalment in ASC's recently launched 'Realm' series, and once again the format remains the same; 8 tracks spread over two pieces of vinyl. From the opening densely spaced-out Dyad, to the bubbling synth tones of Uracil, the vibe is a little darker and abstract when compared to Realm Of The Infinite. There's a lot to digest in terms of sound design, with something new seemingly appearing around every corner. The Grey Area template has been expanded upon, showing what is possible with the tempo and time signatures contained in the album, and paving the way for future ASC experiments.

Rising techno star Joannes continues his ascendancy with more quality, synth-loaded techno soundscapes on De Sluwe Vos' Patron label. The three tracks of deep, ethereal techno come with a remix from Budapest's endowment Norwell. The record is released in February 2020 and will be limited to 200 copies with no repress.

Following the labels theme of reaching beyond the conventional record label by combining music experimentation, short narratives, true stories, and illustrations – Jujuka 002 pushes into new territory with the Split EP “Raw Reflex” featuring founder Julia Govor on the A side followed by the first recordings of EMIT. Julia reaches into her imagination to find Soviet Union enthusiasm met with an American punk drive to add to her signature vibrant arrangement. Behind the EMIT alias is the intricate and vivid musician / producer – Kamran Sadeghi. EMIT read backwards is ‘time’ – the continuum of experience in which events pass from the future through the present to the past. The project is guided by the literal and musical use of time. A culmination of styles unravel within each track, encouraging listeners to discover their own path through the rhythmic and tonal patterns. The music belongs to every-body and no-body.

Pablo R. Ruiz was born in Chile and moved to southwest Detroit in 1999. He played drums in various hardcore punk bands throughout high school. DEMF and raves cultivated an interest in dance music that Pablo brought with him when he moved back to Chile in 2006. He began producing and DJing in underground clubs around Santiago. In 2016 Pablo returned to Detroit, purchased more gear and began producing a new body of work, all recorded straight to tape. The "Bad Hombre" EP is our selection of the fruits of his labor.

Esteban's original version of 'Descendants' is a beauty, drawing on his LA meets Detroit background. Its deep bassline with flourishes of vibrant synth work deliver meaningful and emotional techno from this ICAN man and UR collaborator.

Tresillo first appeared on the scene in the summer of 2016 with their Sueno Latino-esque 'Contra Tiempo' white label gaining the support of DJs like Tony Humphries, Kevin Saunderson, Terry Farley and Steve Mac. Here they show another string to their bow this tracky Chicago-style remix.

Dominating the AA side is the mighty Juan Atkins who brings the heat with his unique remix. Pushing the 808 bass to its limits, adding an infectious break and using elements of the original in a staccato arrangement to twist and layer; it's a work of art in itself.
