Illegal Alien next catalog number IARLTD006 belongs to Italian artist and Illegal Alien member, Mari Mattham. Instinct is the name of his brand new work and includes three remixes by Xhin, Fabrizio Lapiana and Iori, all of them providing outstanding
interpretations of Instinct.

Gynoid Audio label is back on wax after a long summer break with this latest offering from Swedish producer Mikael Jonasson. The A-side kicks off with "Fata Morgana" which is without doubt a techno rave weapon of the highest proportions. On remix duty here is Marco Bailey with hard-driven, pounding techno tool, while the flip side belongs to Flug who delivers not one but two brilliant remixes of the title track. Firstly is the deeper, rawer, more hypnotic mix, followed by a more spacious, clubby, acid-techno version.

Russian producer Nocow returns to Rekids with an enthralling full-length album entitled 'Atoner' this November.

Real name Aleksei Nikitin, Nocow is known for his versatility, producing a large body of genre spanning work on labels like Clone Royal Oak, Figure, Fauxpas Musik, Gost Zvuk and Styrax. The St. Petersburg-based producer debuted on Rekids last year with his 'Samaya Dolgaya Noch' EP, a mellow release complete with vocal driven cuts as well as 2-step rhythms, and now returns with a myriad of productions in a fourteen track album entitled 'Atoner'.

'Atoner' opens with an eponymous track that gently unravels with soaring synths and subtle percussion before Nocow's voice emerges alongside twinkling atmospherics in 'Complie'. Throughout the long player are also intricately produced short tracks sitting between the two and three-minute mark such as looping vocal number 'Dancerecter', the melodic and rattling 'Leto' and ominous 'Delore'.

Ostanovitsa' is a murky offering featuring a meandering organ riff, leading into the pitter-patter drums and serene chords of 'Starveme (feat. Tayut Ogni)'. 'Come Along' is a crystalline and otherworldly experience from start to finish, whilst 'Melting Lights' is comprised of echoing, subterranean sounds, making way for reverberating snares and metallic stabs in 'Standalone'.

Husky murmurs and soothing notes then make up 'Neva', moving into the syncopated beat and idyllic chord sequences in 'Can't Get Enough' ahead of 'Stonecold' and its icy aesthetic. Finally, the album reaches a mesmerising conclusion with the spellbinding 'Footer'.

The Mojuba sublabel a.r.t.less is very proud to present a retrospective by Detroit Techno veteran Martin Bonds aka Reel By Real in two parts. This release features the most seminal output by Martin Bonds who truly is one the most underrated Techno artists from Detroit and often remain not credited when it comes to the history of Detroit Techno, although he has been an inherent part of it since the early years! Maybe some of you remember the classic Marty Hardy mixes on KMS - yeah, that's him too! Each and every of the six tracks is a undeniable timeless classic, which embodies the true soul and spirit of Detroit as well as the youthful enthusiasm and power from the pioneering years of Techno. Some of the tracks are now seeing a proper release for the first time, due to the fact that they had been only released as a limited whitelabel on Juan Atkins Metroplex sublabel Interface Records in 1990 and 1991. So it is no wonder that the original Surkit 12 is one of the most sought after Detroit Techno records. Not to forget to mention that the retrospective also features a very rare collaboration with legendary Anthony Shake Shakir called Serene! To remain true to Detroit artists, the artwork for this project was created by the one and only Abdul Haqq from Third Earth Visual Arts who is giving Detroit Techno (e.g. Underground Resistance, Transmat, Red Planet etc.) a unique look since the late 80s. A limited handmade artwork cover to house both records will be part of the first 12. To get the most out of these classics all tracks were restored by Don Williams and remastered by Redshape! We hope you enjoy this classic music as much as we do, because this is the real thing and this is just the reintroduction of Reel By Real for some new action.

Unmistakenly, Wanzer has carved his own niche through the years as this ep rightly reflects the vast range of styles he works in. From the hypnotic head nod of Wick Hunny to the juicy back alley electro wave of The Grim Whim or the nasty metallic stomp of He Spilled my Drink we get Wanzer in top freak form, mangling the drum machines and pushing the synths to the edge. A welcome return to say the least.

In a constantly evolving world, there's always room for fresh power and new players in already richly filled landscape. However,  there's always room for more - especially with a scene that is constantly caring for innovation - and that's where Blackrod Records comes in.

This label is founded by Hungarian producer Depthon (a contraction of the words "depth" and "on") with a nonsensical approach to music. As said in the label's statement, the music released hereon, is also a reflection of the mindset of this techno artist. He came a long way, crawling through different genres but ending up in his favorite and most versatile style.

And in January, his very first physical release of music will happen on his own imprint. An EP on black gold loaded with 4 weapons that are ready to add up to every quality techno mix and also will destroy the dance floor.
3 of Depthon's own works and in addition a remix by Glaswegian techno prodigy and Sleaze Records labelhead Hans Bouffmhyre. "Last Train" is the first pulsating and powerful track that works as the opening window of this EP, followed by the remix by Bouffmyhre, which could could be described as an immaculate upgrade to the original.

On the flipside, it's "Faded" that is exemplary to the saying "less is more": dark and simple pads on a compelling background that surely will keep one's attention throughout the course. Last but not least is "Timelapse" that contrary to the other tracks uses high pitched synths as a lead, in combination with hissing hi-hats and a constantly changing scenery.

Alltogether, these tracks form a solid collection of forceful tracks and a perfect debut of an artist and his new label.

After already dropping one cut on our all-encompassing initial compilation, celebrating 25 years of the club, we're happy to announce Joel Mull's follow up and first solo release on Distillery Records. Mull is an always welcome Tille-regular, one of the most prominent ambassadors of the Swedish Techno sound and a versatile producer that's constantly churning out high profile material since the mid 90ies. A cachet that's underpinned by this batch of tunes, kicking off with "Magnetum", an Industrially tinged blend of Techno, building on filtered polyrhythmic elements, a swelling bass and subtly implemented pads. He's going for an arrangement that's eschewing overcomplexity, in order to boost an utmost force on the dance floor. Next up is "Momentum" that sonically ventures down to even deeper levels of machine room ambience, emitting wafting plumes of bass, being flared by flashes of sawing clangs and pushed forward by a synth- based micro-theme that's wandering through filter-modulations. A massive big room weapon. "Connected" comes embedded in crackling and rustling soundscapes, but make no mistake, its kickdrum is out to blow off any sonic haze to make way for an Acid theme that slowly emerges from ambush. This very tune gets a remix treatment by none other than Mathimidori aka Mathias Kaden who's turning the character of the tune into a rather chilled out, groove accenting, Dub- resonating state of matter. The digital package then also features "Continuous Symmetry" as a bonus track, that's upping the ante again, yet appears a bit more leftfield in this cycle of Mulls new material.

First to take the reins of the DJ-Kicks mix series in 2019 will be ever evolving UK artist, Leon Vynehall. His 26-track mix features new material from the man himself, as well as exclusives by Hessle Audio and Timedance affiliate, Ploy, rising newcomer Peach, and Pavilion, plus a number of gems that will be available digitally for the first time ever.

LHS opens the VOIGHT Label with 4 futuristic cuts of industrial techno.Themed around the components of the human eye, the tracks explore the borders between the peaktime dancefloor and blurry after hours. GoldFFinch add a functionalistic-reduced interpretation.

AdMaiora continues his unstoppable journey searching for the finest techno and tech house. To celebrate our 16th release we will mainly focus on the techno world with an exclusive EP from Tuscany born Marco Effe with Amsterdam based 2000 and One on the remix side.

Marco has being pushed to the big audience by Sven Vath in 2012, when he released on Cocoon his most famous track 'Jellied Eels'. In the last couple of years he didn't stop producing music with releases on labels such as Etruria Beat, On Edge Society and SCI+TEC to name a few.

In his debut EP on AdMaiora he smashes with two original techno destroyers. 'Basewax' is an heads down bigroom techno cut to set on fire any dancefloor with a nice combination of regular techno drums and Detroit inspired synths. The second track called 'Rawhere' is another distinctive raw gem which marks Marco as one of the most genuine talent in the techno scene: massive pad shots, rhythmic toms and delayed synths make of this one the next must-have for the summer.

On the remix duties we are more than excited to see the Dutch man himself 2000 and One. The '100% Pure' and 'Area Remote' boss makes of 'Rawhere' an explosive 909 killer remix, exploiting all his experience as a producer. The things go straight and hard without a break until new pads and bassline kick in to twist all the things done before.

BLK DRP is back. This time Michael Klein invited Eduardo de la Calle and TWR72 to support the #2 of his label. Deep groovers and strong smashers in here.

Recorded in the Autumn of 2017 at their studio in Vancouver's Deep Blue, MVX / U41A' is the first new music from Minimal Violence to be released on Ninja Tune's Technicolor imprint and the first to be recorded outside their usual home production space. The result is a record that intends to reduce pop music to its emotive qualities and apply that abstract nostalgia back into dance tracks. Their penchant for the heavier and more aggressive side of dance music is most evident in its infiltration of the duo's often raw and disorientating live set. Formed in 2015 the duo, consisting of Ashlee Luk and Lida P, have a string of releases to date with labels such as Lobster Theremin, 1080p and Jungle Gym Records. Drawing on Luk's years of experience playing in punk bands, they combine hardware sequencers, drum machines and synths, to weave together acid tinged compositions that derive inspiration from early electronic and minimal synth through to heavier UK rave and hardcore.

Thirtyonetwenty - the international dialling code for Amsterdam - is the city's hot Techno imprint co-founded by Sandy Huner and Dave Ellesmere in 2007, now run solely by Sandy. For Thirtyonetwentys next strike we welcome back Nick Hollyster & Robin Orlando!

In 2008 Nick Hollyster who is originally from Paris moved to Valencia where he met Robin Orlando, who also happened to live there at the time, the two shared a strong passion for music and a friendship was born, it didn't take long before the duo started colaborating on tracks in the studio, which resulted in various releases on labels such as ThirtyOneTwenty, Plastic City and Resopal Shallware.

For their second release on Thirtyonetwenty they deliver two deep Detroit influenced tracks, also included are two remixes by Techno legends 2000 and One and Steve Stoll, enjoy!

As hard-line as the title threatens, as martial as the artwork displays, as genuine as techno can be - with his latest release on Snork Enterprises, Phil Kieran has created a tremor and once again proves his uncompromising unique sound, for this time somewhere in between iron relentlessness and poisonous composure. In a somewhat extrapolation of "Totally snorked" his
second release on Snork Enterprises "Shred Beef" sharpens his tune up to the peak of intransigently pulsation, with a whiff of "I think I´m a monster". Marching up front with its bass-line, his new tracks pursue a sound that mirrors the mercilessness of true underground techno. Pure. Harsh. Don't give a shit!

After making his initial mark with a grinding fog of slowed Techno on Sigha's Our Circula Sound label, Michael Jefford aka Positive Centre has traversed the electronic BPM scale with a sonic signature of ghostly synthetics that make the switch between industrial aesthetics and illusory sound-scaping.
Within this nucleus, Jefford's recorded history as a Live Performing Artist, DJ and Producer has always reflected what at once can be microscopic, whilst still being the largest object in view. Each track on Forever Optimum sets a different location and perspective on an active set of mechanics - like watching fragments in motion, reacting to different forces.
Having previously released for a range of Techno's more adventurous labels including SNTS, Stroboscopic Artefacts, Opal Tapes and not forgetting his own In Silent Series label. Positive Centre's 3rd Album 'Forever Optimum' stands as a beautiful anomaly in the 2018 HORO catalogue. Continuing the point of the HORO label: being open to the beguiling musical arcs that keep us redefining our sound.

* 'Advanced Aerial Threat' kicks things off with a fractured half-step rhythm that gives more than a nod to his formative years as a fan of the early UK dubstep movement. Stark, deadly and meticulously constructed, the rhythm taps a pace as wild bass stabs rip across a theatre of sound.

* Next up is the delightful melancholy of 'Ursa Minor' which takes a rolling breakbeat as its backbone before a Reese-like bassline emerges from beneath, rising and empowering. DJ Dex aka Nomadico has written and produced 10 new unreleased tracks for this double LP 'The Code Switcha'. It features a range of tempos and sonic dynamics; from the slow burns of 'RTD 60' and '909 Soto Street' to the full on energy of 'Machine Learning for Homeboy' and 'HustLA'. There are also electro funk tracks like 'Still Cruisin', 'Radio 3031323' and 'Backyard Trippin'. Meanwhile, the moods and textures of 'Introversion', 'Innermission' and 'Staring Problem' are for deep listening. All of these are fused together by atmospheric pads, touches of acid and a veteran DJ's sense of rhythm and timing.

"At the crux of American-born, Shanghai-based producer Eli Osheyack's debut album, Sadomodernism, is a question of agency. Borrowed from film theory, the album title was originally coined by writer Moira Weigel to describe a waning European art house tradition that vehemently rejects 'naïve pleasure'—the tranquilizing comfort of conventional cinematic narrative, like mainstream Hollywood—and opts for violence and pain, with the aim of shaking audiences out of cinematic manipulation and into their own position vis-à-vis the malaise of contemporary life. Echoing the work of sadomodernist auteurs, Osheyacks's Sadomodernism is a deeply political project with critical ambitions. The smashing and blending of genres, from techno, industrial, noise and gabber to ballroom and metal, even opera, and spontaneous percussion arrangements, sometimes mixed with distorted spoken word, do not mean to please, but provoke through disorder and chaos. Laden with Brechtian alienation affects, Sadomodernism interrogates the notion of autonomy in contemporary music, club culture, and social-political life."

Karl Meier, Ken Meier and Jon Krohn, AKA Stave, are launching a label called Standards & Practices.

The three US artists, who share Chicago roots, have a pretty straightforward mission in mind for Standards & Practices: 'To provide a platform for releases by both Talker and Stave, as well as for material by other like-minded artists and collaborators.' Talker is the Downwards-affiliated duo of Karl Meier—a longtime techno DJ, now based in Berlin, who took part in RA's Playing Favourites series last year—and Krohn, formerly of the experimental rock group Male, who's also been putting out his own brand of abstract, industrialized electronic music as Stave for around four years. Ken Meier, a New York-based graphic designer, partner at Common Name and DJ—and Karl's brother—takes care of art and design for the label.

Standards & Practices' opening move is a Talker 12-inch, Battle Standards, the duo's third full release and first since their 2014 album for Downwards. A three-track EP built with material from their new live set and 'aimed squarely at the dance floor,' it includes a new version of 'My Favorite Colour Is Gold,' from 2015's The Immortal Eye compilation CD. It's due out in late July. Next will be Black Hills, a five-track EP from Stave that's expected in September.

Electra on the flip is on a trance-inducing mission, with it's cavernous 808 kick driving a tribal groove, carried by a pulsating bassline and eerie percussion. Sportiv is a dexterous white label operation that brings you heavy-weight rhythmic performances from the world of techno athletics.

Released in solidarity with Tiga's anti-tech house crusade, a silent campaign fought everyday on the streets of your hometown, 'Blaze' finds Russian crypto-whiz Dimitri Veimar still dancing with the rawer-than-the-rawest-dog electro that's brought him to the dizzying heights of the mid-tier crags of Mt. Turbo Mountain. Throwing his weight behind what some in the media are probably already calling 'Tiga's War' was absolutely necessary following the events of a recent gig in Moscow. Veimar opened the night by playing no fewer than three Tiga tracks, which anyone who's read Tiga's Taboos can tell you is definitely a Tiga Taboo. Deeply immersed in the practice of pouring his own mineral water, Tiga ignored the hootin' and hollerin' of the VIPs crowding the DJ booth (including Dennis Miller and Diego Maradona), and proceeded to play a set entirely comprised of recordings of every embarrassing thing Veimar had ever said in his life. Four hours later, an emotionally-shot Veimar collapsed into Tiga's arms, with the magnanimous label boss whispering, 'I forgive you, Dimitri' into his ear. The release also features a 'broken techno' remix from mysterious European producer Florian Kupfer, who made us sign a Non-Disclosure-Agreement dictating that we can only describe him as 'mysterious,' 'enigmatic,' and/or 'European,' so we'll have to let the music do the talking.

Opening with a nice mental tribe non-stop twirling fangy sustained by a cool bumbing sub-bass... Second track, from Gelbkreuz is an acid psychedelic progressive trancy tribe sound. The flip starts on a slow techno tune, kind of a party starter whispering around... The finish, with la Meduse gently kick while a speaker prepare your ears to welcome an acid torture :) Big New Crew with a great sound ! Enjoy !

Fluidly hurtling in hot after NAA012, the newborn and MODXI, brings a refreshing ambience to Not An Animal Records with a deluxe, tasteful and elegant new release. MODXI is Sam Watts, who, with the help of his improvisational jazz saxophonist father, Trevor Watts and talented electronic producer Thomas Gandey, bring the new beat, Amalgam. The end result A wondrous 11-minute shuffle that offloads some pure emotive action. Choosing to cruise hood down, Dark-Wave-esk drums skid towards a persistent synth wobble and transmogrify into a sentimental masterpiece. Striking piano chords stretch to the foreground and Trevor's breathtaking sax complete the succulent harmonies, adding some serious psychotropic seasoning. On the B, experienced moonwalker Roman Flugel rattles the original into a nostalgic Techno bruiser - Toxic, pernicious, and seriously alluring. It winds up and down, weaves in and out, and in signature Flugel fashion adds more psychedelic edge. Whistling synth shots and a growling chunky bass are added to the captivating atmosphere, just before fully kicking off with destructive arpeggiation in the second half. Ouch! To close, the ever so mysterious Frank Butters returns for some explosive remix material, this time coming through with a deadly Electro heater. Watt's saxophone scorches through the high end alongside a howling bass-line undertone, taking this track someplace else. Stylish Vocoder & synthesiser licks add the finishing touches to this stomper.

Sean Miller makes a triumphant return to Seth Troxler's Play It Say It imprint with a new single that has already been getting played by tastemakers like Luciano. In addition to the original, K'Alexi Shelby serves up a fine remix that makes this another vital package.

Canadian producer Miller last released on this label in 2016 with Tiger Spirit, and has also put out essential tunes on labels like Supernature, Ovum and most recently Cadenza. Always making music with integrity and soul, he's been active since 2003 and had plenty of Beatport hits in his time. This new release is sure to be another.

Entitled 'Birds Do It,' the track is seven big and explosive minutes of exuberant drums and tribal percussion. Meandering bird calls burrow deep into your brain and the rawest of hits add drive and edginess to this supersized house tune. Remixer K-Alexi is a true Chicago great. He's been at the core of the scene since the eighties and releasing his raw grooves on DJ International, Trax and Transmat, as well as his own K Klassik label. His standout version is a flurry of drums and percussion, smashing hi hats and bobbling kicks. Tight melodies rain down and unrelenting pressure builds in the drums to make sure that crowd will be driven utterly out of control.

The next Alien Jams release is "NEW" brought to us by Australian artist YAWS. Recorded earlier this year in his hometown, this 12" marks a new headspace for this London based producer, coinciding with a long and painful visa renewal process that kept him out of the UK for most of this year. YAWS brings forth an EP of six all killer no filler jam outs. Constructed during a period of transience and reflection, YAWS stripped back his usual setup to skeletal form, while placing an emphasis on process, experimentation and put simply, fun. While keeping a familiar thread of tongue in cheek throughout his work, "NEW" remains both raw and honest.

A-Sim, born Simon Hamelin, is a fresh electronic music producer from France. Palpable in the pulse of Goldberg's latest EP 313 Acid Queen is an urgent and inspired, cool and confident sense of picking up a proverbial torch, of propulsion along with preservation, of continuation as well as re-invention. Born vigorously forth upon the blooms and grooves of her synth scores for these five songs is the sharpest demonstration, yet, of her signature sound and vision.

313 Acid Queen reaches to and re-enlivens the traditions of Detroit techno with Roland's contemporary iterations of the 808, 909 and 303 drum machines, quintessential sonic characters utilized by the region & genre's seminal producers. The title refers, also, to the Detroit area's predominant telephone area-code, as she audibly reaches out to touch the essence of her city's distinct and dynamic neighborhoods and landscapes, most evidently with the field recordings from city streets and the animal populace inhabitants in the majestic Belle Isle Aquarium.

These kinetic, contemplative and coolly exhilarating tracks were conceived to carry on the tradition of Detroit acid techno in the contemporary world. Fittingly, Goldberg's first vinyl release comes on March 13t h (3/13), distributed internationally through Detroit Underground, a multidisciplinary arts collective & record label. Goldberg's fellow Detroit producer Ryan McCray has a deep sound and keen sensibility for acid techno all his own; he fell in love with the 313 Acid Queen track 'Aquarium' and remixed it to be an exclusive bonus track for the vinyl release.

A warm human hand sculpts the icy machine-like sounds into a meticulous harmony over undulating bass and entrancing snares, clasps and industrial heartbeats. This continuous circulation of sound and its ever beating rumbling-flexed sub bass found in Rebecca Goldberg's newest batch of acid-techno arrangements effectively replicate the natural functions of omega 3, or -3, fatty acids albeit in musical-form. Their Live Shows Are Legendary For Their Ability To Fluidly Incorporate Improvisational Techniques Into Synthesized Music (and For The Sheer Amount Of Hardware That They Bring To The Stage). The Ectomorph Show Is All Analog, No Computers Or Samplers Or Even Drum Machines: All Sounds Come From The Modulars And The Mountains Of Moogs. Ectomorph (now Officially Comprised Of Bmg & Erika) Reconvened In 2016 To Write New Music, Which Led To A Series Of Live Shows Where The New Material Was Tested Via Performance And Allowed To Evolve In Form. Fjaak's path led them from the periphery to the centre and from there further through the world. Their self titled debut album for Monkeytown is as much of a summary of what had happened in the previous three years as it is an artistic statement. "FJAAK" combines the energetic peak-time sound of the Berlin-based trio's acclaimed Techno singles like 'Unten / Oben' with sophisticated breakbeat arrangements and atmospherically dense Ambient textures. These eleven tracks are the provisional highlight in a unique success story which started aside club culture's conventions and to this day refuses to compromise.

Felix Wagner, Aaron Röbig and Kevin Kozicki were still teenagers when they developed a distinct sound which positioned itself outside beaten paths, both geographically and musically speaking. The trio cut their teeth in Berlin-Spandau's open-air scene and celebrated their frst success in the city's center shortly thereafter before taking the Techno world by storm with their elaborate analogue sound. Having released a few records, they found a permanent home on Modeselektor's Monkeytown in 2014 while incessantly traveling the world.

When asked about the story behind the tracks of 'Journey Through The Outer Darkness from the Inner Light', Jamal Moss answered with a laconic "No story. No dogma. No Hype". After all, his despise of extra-musical paraphernalia is proportional to his productiveness in the studio. But there's always a story. On April 9, 2016, Hieroglyphic Being played a live show in La Casa Encendida of Madrid within the festival Electronica en Abril. Some days later, the recording of the full set was uploaded to YouTube. When we watched it, we were totally captivated. Those eighty minutes of music had the raw power of all of Jamal's body of work, but with a heightened sense of transcendence. Cosmic, spiritual and intensely beautiful, it sounded like a lysergic reinterpretation of Detroit techno transmitted from a galaxy yet to be discovered. As most of the material was unreleased, we reached Jamal in order to try to press it into vinyl. The result is 'Journey Through The Outer Darkness from the Inner Light', a 12" that reunites eight of the individual tracks that conformed that Madrid performance. When inquired about AUM, the sacred sound all the tracks are labeled after, Jamal referred us to a book by author and naturalist Joseph Bharat Cornell. A book that the author himself presents with these words: 'The sound of the Cosmic Vibration is AUM, and listening to it brings the greatest bliss imaginable. AUM is the Omnipotent Force that propels each soul toward Spirit. It's the sacred, inner fire. As you approach the cosmic blaze, you feel at first its radiant, soothing comfort; then, as you come closer - AUM's liberating flames consume you - and bring you to God". There might be "no story and no dogma", but, suddenly, it all makes sense.

As one of NYC's most innovative individuals, Incienso are happy to announce Kiki Kudo's debut full length EP 'Splashing'. Operating seamlessly between the mediums of music, food and general vibes, her new release follows up the 'Mineral Sequences' mixtape on Good Morning Tapes, plus a track on Physical Therapy's allergy season compilation 'Physically Sick Vol 2'.

After starting music production just last year with one sole piece of hardware (but DJing in NYC years before), these are some of the wildest songs in time. A self-described mix of 'Nanotech Pop, Synth Jams, Kitchen Wave, and Listening Techno' - somewhere between the experimentalism and anything-goes ethos of the downtown scene, the out-there exploration of City Pop, and a world all of her own.

Oscar Muleros contribution to the Token catalogue goes all the way back to 2008. The ferocious Take Seven EP was the start of a longstanding partnership between the label and artist. Between this first release and the more recent Suborbital Trajectories EP, Mulero also provided Token with 2 releases as Spherical Coordinates, producing sophisticated big room and bleep tracks. Through his lengthy and prolific career, Mulero has not contented himself with producing dancefloor tools alone. The full-length Perfect Peace, released in March this year on Semantica, demonstrates this well, with Autechre and Aphex-flecked IDM and electronica sounds dominating the work.The new Electric Shades EP also has elements of this extra depth. The record opens and closes with sci-fi theatrics: Electric Shades throbs and pulses under eerie space atmospherics, while Dying Asteroid sonically details the demise of a small celestial body in clinical detail. After the celebrated Metabolism LP from last year, Sigha is back with a 4-track cut for TOKEN84. This untitled record remains understated, playing with variations on a theme whereby the similarities exist seemingly to illuminate the differences between the tracks. The relationship between Circular and Hum is reminiscent of Sigha's 2016 New Puritan flip on the earlier offering of Puritan from 2012; with Circular presenting a tight, meditative loop in high-mid frequencies while Hum inhabits a similar space, only seemingly from a distance. If those two are close, measured and controlled, the other tracks on the record demonstrate more freedom and abandon. Gliss is huge and heavy, while Flare's sonic elements interact playfully and scatter as the piece progresses.

DOMINIK might be known as a resident DJ of the CLUB SCHWARZES SCHAF in his hometown AUGSBURG. There he started throwing parties alongside DANIEL BORTZ anddeveloped his style of DJing. Over the past years DOMINIK released music on labels like PASTAMUSIK, SUOL, LIEBE DETAIL and O*RS. He is also part of YANDOM ( a project together with YANNICK LABBÉ).

The hyper-chromatic music of Matt Cutler marks him out as a true

As Mosaic reaches release number 40, Steve O'Sullivan dives into another studio collaboration with his new label mate and expert hand, Mike Schommer - bringing in the talents of Rod Modell on remix duties. Etching two slices of dub heavy grooves that cover either side of the techno and house spectrum, their first effort emphasises the former on title track "Submerged" (B1). It doesn't pull any punches - precision moulded bass takes centre stage around evolving synths and classic delay action.
Their 2nd "Depth Charge Dub" (B2) leans more towards the latter as the duo focus on the combination of a rolling sub, laidback percussion and subtle stabs that cycle gently around.
The cherry on top comes in the form of Rod Modell's "DeepChord's Negative-Space Exploration Version" as he takes a 9 min trip to the hinterland of his sonic imagination, elegantly finding new layers and spatial effects. Call it what you will, 'dubbed out house with a splash of techno' or 'dubbed out techno with a splash of house' - this is heavyweight material.

This very poor producer from Slovakia has finally delivered us one real Hardgroove track that has a potential to destroy every club. His beat and sound is so catchy that every Hardgroove fan will love this track. The next track on Hardgroove Planet 2 is from DJ Gumja called Noelom. This Slovenian DJ and producer has delivered us a track with real hardgroove heart. Great tribal beat filled up with a catchy vocal. Great work from him! The last track and a grand finale for our Hardgroove Planet 2 is a track called Moon from Recycle Bot. All fans who is know this producer knows that he is more Hardtechno or Techno producer as Hardgroove but his track Moon has something from Hardgroove sound too and thats why we have added this track to our compilation. Great hard beat with tribal percussions, dark synths and heavy kicks. So thats all for now. Cong Burn go deep on their third record with Freerotation affiliate Duckett making his first appearance on the label and Chekov following up his recent contribution to Timedance. The heady A-side opens with Chekov's 'Spring' which has spent the last few years popping up in sets from Lena Willikens, Call Super and the Hessle Trio. Duckett's 'Lost In Israel' rolls through its first half carried by complex arpeggios before its layers are broken down and evaporated. On the B side Lack provides a extended and dubbed out DJ tool sounding like if Kowton released on Workshop. Haddon's 'Anabiosis' ties this batch together having first appeared on Cong Burn's debut CDR back in 2015 - since then it has become a go-to opener, closer and after party ender.

Since forming four years ago, Italian based trio Agents Of Time have already released on both Maceo Plex's Ellum and Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant imprints.
On top of crafting remixes for artists including Sailor & I and WhoMadeWho, this year saw the launch of their own label entitled 'Obscura', named after the parties they have been running for the past three years.

For the 108th installment in the ever expanding planet rhythm catalog, a various artists effort has been planned with some of the label's usuals and some exciting names we have had our eye on for a while now. For the A-side, ARTS label owner Emmanual brings his much appreciated E100 to vinyl. Previously released digitally through his own imprint, this cut has been sought after for a while now. Second up is Eindhoven native Albert Van Abbe. Albert has been making a lot of waves for a long time now and we're very glad to welcome him to the PRRUK family. More to Ignore 04 is a funked out piece of machine music that will definitely turn some heads. The B side is opening with Elyas' The Hangman. The mysteryman that gained some infamy through his releases on Modularz and Olympian delivers a cutting edge Techno work-out. Closing down this VA 12'' is Mendy. Returning to PRRUK for the 2nd time, Mendy has come up with ''Elevation'' which is a chordy techno theme for peak hours.

A strange confluence of sound that sounds part Krautrock synth label Brain records, part Hyperdub.   Techno haze and synth wormholes with spectacular sound design that has banged at Berghain and soundtracked winter night drives.

Greenspan is known mainly for his work with Junior Boys and Jessy Lanza and Taraval is a longtime touring member of Caribou, but both have released several 12' and EPs of electronic exploration over the past few years. 

Inspired by synthesizer minimalists like JD Emmanuel, Cluster and John Carpenter, the two attempted to create a type of dance music with hardware that was indebted to their influences but did not feel intrinsically retrogressive. The idea was to make a type of raw synthesizer and drum machine music that could be listened to beside the hypermodern techno of Pearson Sound or Actress.  

The cover art is a tribute to a mysterious mural that looms over the Hamilton Ontario area where the album was recorded.
Each of the five tracks on the EP were edited down from much longer recording jams which were done with hardware sequencers in real time. The first installment of Balans Records in 2018 brings the talented female Parisian, DJ and producer, Hemka, to the Dutch label. Opening the EP, '707 Collision' rushes in with subtly shifting groove repetition, suspenseful melodies and echoes of Detroit. The atmospheric 'Nocturnal Rounds' keeps the fast-paced rhythm with added Sci-fi flavor - peak time techno at its best!
On the flip side Balans Records boss, Tripeo, offers his own interpretation to the title track and following in that groove he works his magic to ecstatic, infectious effect in a playful, funky mood. '707 Collision (Tripeo Beatless Tool)' on the other hand is swapping the pressure for something much lighter, a sublime journey to the deepside.

Belgian electronic duo Mumbai Science explores the final frontier with their newest single Black Hole. The release includes the first Floorplan (aka Robert Hood) remix to date.

A year after the release of their widely acclaimed debut album Déjà Vu, Mumbai Science is gearing up to present new music to the world. The single EP, called Black Hole, allows us another sneak peak into the wayward universe of Mumbai Science. A universe where the misfits find solace and love is still free. With grubby basslines, sleazy vocal hooks and playful arpeggios, Black Hole showcases everything that is core to the sound and style of Mumbai Science. "I had this dream where I was on a guided bus trip to outer space with all my buds...", explains Jonas when asked where they got their inspiration. "...we were singing songs when I noticed my mom forgot to pack my lunch".

Black Hole comes with a mesmerising Floorplan (aka Robert Hood) remix. Robert Hood needs little introduction, being a founding member of arguably the most important techno act in the world, Underground Resistance and M-Plant label boss. His works paved the way for a wave of stripped-down dancefloor minimalism that directed much of techno's path throughout the late Nineties. His remix of Black Hole deconstructs the original track and rebuilds it in the relentless techno landscape of Floorplan. It perfectly complements the original track, making the Black Hole package complete.

Analog Section returns to its primary nature with a third reference on vinyl format by its head leader Sarf, he assumes a role similar to an alchemist busied in transforming arithmetic processes into sound structures with two original tracks that do justice to their names.

Developer and Lag are adjudged two equidistant versions with different results, the first emphasizes the depth exerted by a hard enviroment that relies mainly on low frequencies and the contrast of this with an acute tone lacking harmonics. The second exegesis is more direct than the previous ones, the marked rhythm provides energy and perception of the increase in the metric.

Sev Dah continues his run of 'working class futurism' with Proletarijat 004. The combination of sheer power and dance floor efficiency with profound personality and an unwavering ideological stance is what makes the Proletarijat series so special. From the near intimidating gravity of "Strah" to the dystopian fight music of "Zastava M48", via the solemn yet commanding hymn for fallen comrades in "Tovaris", Sev Dah manages to create something that is as personal as it is universal. Techno with a firm standpoint and loads of force to back it up.

The Swedish producer Elias Landberg (Skudge) debuts a 12-inch on Psyk's imprint, Non Series, as Splice, a side project he started in 2011.As an expert of loop techno, Splice drops 4 cuts that coincide precisely with the label's direction. 'Blueshift' presents the artist's natural hardware-focus featuring leads with a strong character that come along refined techno grooves.

Introducing young Polish producer : BYLLY who shows us all his talent with this banging mental techno EP. Ear splitting synths, mental drums patterns and strong atmosphere. Complimenting the long-awaited release of sophomore LP, Song for Alpha, Daniel Avery presents the Projector EP. Taking its title from one of the album's spectral highlights this additional trio of original productions expands on Avery's regenerated sonic vision. Leaning further towards the rhythmic and propulsive intent behind his recent, marathon DJ sets, the record serves to delve further still into his unfolding, ever-deepening sound. Following the lead of 'Projector' itself, the record transitions into the first exclusive cut, 'Shadow Mountain'. Soft in texture and bathed in ethereal feedback, a glitching, transfixing synth line gradually reveals itself as the spine of the piece. Throughout 'Glass', an intimate, breathy vocal sample contrasts with a more industrially tinged base of heavily processed drums. On the more experimental REHBGBV4367, the seams of Avery's influences lap against one another in a steady crescendo of beautiful yet beatless noise, dissipating into ambience. Oktave Records returns for the third installment from the label, once again featuring owner and proprietor Jeff Derringer at the helm. The 'Factions' EP shows Jeff at his most direct and robust, with three tracks of meticulously constructed techno.

'Factions' starts the EP and goes straight for the heart of the dance floor, with a tunneling groove that lures the listener into hypnosis before a devastating break takes the track to a whole new level of intensity. This one is for the ravers, no doubt.

The flip side starts with 'Penalty Phase', another floor-focused stunner that features Jeff's signature kick drum and drive, coupled with evolving synth arpeggios and melancholy vibes for those early club mornings as the sun comes up. Finally, 'The Second Plane' slows the tempo down a bit and ends the record with a thoughtful broken beat arrangement reminiscent of early Warp.

'Factions' was written during the winter of 2018 and mastered by Tim Xavier at Manmade Mastering.
