I'm more than excited to start my new label GTO with these tracks as they represent a sound aesthetic that I'm excited about and I would simply describe as: Techno. No limits.'

Gregor Tresher wraps up another remarkable year in the techno fast lane with a brand new label: GTO.

It stands for Gregor Tresher Originals and the emphasis is on the word 'original' as he continues to carve his own unique furrow in a brand new way. Investing everything he's achieved and explored across some of the greatest labels in techno from Drumcode to Cocoon, Music Man to Ovum, Moon Harbour to Bedrock, plus 60 releases on his own Break New Soil imprint, it's time to freshen things up once again. It's time to get acquainted with GTO... And it starts with another superb collaboration with long time friend and collaborator Petar Dundov.

'Stellarius' and 'Anthropogenic' show Gregor and Petar at their most energetic, forward-thinking and enthused. The former is a pacey drive into the unknown with layered synths weaving in and out of perspective to hypnotic effect while the latter shows a darker side to the duo as harmonic bass textures rumble with a rich loin-girding sinister feel and a carnal funk that springs off the off-beat hi-hats. Gregor explains the inspiration behind both compositions...

'Stellarius to me, is the biggest and most powerful track to emerge from our recent studio sessions. From the day we made it, I knew I wanted to save it for something very special. Well, I guess the occasion is here.'

'Anthropogenic' causes mayhem everywhere I play it. I would say it's inspired by the music of so many young and fresh producers making their way to the big stages now with a sound that hints a time when producing techno wasn't about functionality but more about a certain vibe of creating something new and exciting.'

Pure nederlandish mental Core dancefloor

Seilscheibenpfeiler 003 comes from Canadian native Graham Douglas via his moniker Nautiluss. Having released several EPs on Turbo and Hemlock, he's now bringing his bass influenced sound from Toronto to Berlin.
In Liquid Sky and Reak, Nautiluss puts his skillful use of percussive elements into action, completed by playful synth lines and thus creating heavy bass vibes which won't let you keep your feet still. However, there's no such thing as a comfort-zone for him! Inky, surely the hidden gem on this EP, shows a different side of his production skills: Starting like a 4/4 warehouse banger, it gets a full on twist a` la Nautiluss. An energetic ending to his first release on Seilscheibenpfeiler...

New Flesh Records 19 Ever wonder what would happen at the first minuts of an Alien in-vasion Answer can be found on Geometric Vision', the debut EP of Hungarian electro don Norwell on French New Flesh Records. Real name Balázs Semsei, Norwell has turned out a steady stream of releases on labels like Dalmatia Daniel, Pinkman, Chabu Recor-dings, Seagrave and his own Farberwechsel imprint until now, always coming on strong with a personal artistic vision plus a sense of drama.

Across four craftily cuts on Umwelt's label, he revisits his own dystopian universe made of sonic frequencies fused into rich atmosphere with a strong array of emotions. From the haunting opener Geometric Vision' to the explosive final Conversation Patterns', Nor-well signs one of his best release to date.

Fascinating synth melodies supported by raw drums and insane electro textures compose this must have 12'' and an essential addition to the New Flesh catalog. Heavy electro darkness for serious heads, this is a soulful EP full of depth, impossible to ignore!

For Me Me Me 14, I'm proud to announce the return of Shit Robot to the label for his first full length EP, following up from his previous contribution to our We We We Charity compilation, and last year's remix for Forriner.

Joining him is fellow label mainstay Edmondson (of Lissoms fame), as well as Vin Sol (Nonplus / Clone) making his label debut, after me wanting to snare him forever due to my status as a Vin Sol super fan!

Shit Robot provides us with 2 RAW house cuts.
On the A side we have the deep and bumping 'Cubed'.
For the B he gives us 'Rotation' which is equal parts Analogue-Jack to Rave-Synth.

Edmondson turns in a typically unique remix, yet again hinting at his background in non 4/4 sounds, and showcasing his unbelievable deftness for sound design.

Vin Sol's remix of Rotation expertly captures the spirit of late 80s house in a way that only the original early pioneers, Vin Sol himself, and a perhaps a handful others seem to pull off legitimately.

Also included as a digital exclusive is the bonus track 'Shit Robot - The Life To Come', for that added low slung jazz-house fix.

It's common knowledge by now that the name Stephan Hinz is synonymous with cutting-edge, big room anthems and his latest output, the 'Juncture EP' continues to attest to the consistency of his prowess. Hinz' kicks off with the self-titled 'Juncture' as massive low end, crisp hats and burly percussion lay the ground work for a delicate and hypnotizing lead forging an impeccable balance between two opposing themes. Rephlex producer EOD drops a mind-bending fifteen track debut album on Bjarki's bbbbbb this June.

Born in Trondheim, Norway, Stian Gjevik is a rarity amongst electronic music producers. Possibly the most interesting musician representing the braindance and IDM sounds of today, EOD's productions have landed on labels like We´Me` Records, sleepers, cpu, 030303 and Aphex Twin's highly respected Rephlex. Dropping on bbbbbb last year, his 'Swurlk EP' sold out within a month and received support from Aphex Twin, Bicep, Bjarki, Nina Kraviz and many more.

A straight-forward bleep affair, the Hardspace Mix of GBBVT1337152 underlines its simple yet utterly effective beauty. In contrast, UK74R1409047 is a moody and mystical ride under the night sky, whose enchanted vibe Faki carefully retains. As with all releases of LF RMX, the proceeds of this record will be forwarded to the Berlin organization Straßenkinder e.V. to be used in actions against child poverty.

Kalbata joins Perlon-contributor Maayan Nidam for a superbly ambidextrous EP on Brush & Broom. Both are known to be highly versatile artists, and when joining forces in the studio the results are equally kaleidoscopic. The Town is an instant club favorite featuring a hypnotic tone bouncing over a zappy electro beat with hints of old-school disco. San Francisco DJ and producer Charles Duff aka Matrixxman unveils his new label 'The Grid' with a special double 12' - 'The Grid 001' presented in a deluxe gatefold sleeve. Matrixxman is one of the most acclaimed and prolific modern Techno producers, opening new avenues in the current scene with his material regularly supported and played by Rødhåd, Jeff Mills, Ben Klock, Richie Hawtin and more.

'The Grid 001' captures Matrixxman in full Techno mode with tracks of pure rhythm, polyphony and shades of Acid bookended with brief ambient sketches . The Californian artist offers a sonic teleportation to outer space, to a different way of representing Techno and Electronic music. We present The Core of Chaos EP by Rezystor for the first TWB vinyl release. Two banging original tracks by Rezystor for the dancefloor which are the perfect combination to create a dark Atmosphere. Binny (Monnom Black/CLFT) takes over for the first remix and presents a raw, rave-influenced interpretation of Inner Core. The second remix of Inner Core comes from Rendered (Aufnahme+Wiedergabe/Body Theory) who converted the original into a bass heavy, pounding basement version.

Following on from the 2017 LP Paradygm Shift by Robert Hood released on Dekmantel Records, the Detroit legend returns to the imprint to deliver the final installment in a trilogy of EP releases that initially began back in February 2016. Now based in Alabama, the Detroit-techno producer is returning to his roots. Embracing the trademark, minimal, funk techno sounds that defined his earlier career, Paradygm Shift Vol. 3 is classic Hood, operating in new, and uncharted ways.

The EP is an extension on the concept as outlayed by Hood during the project's conceptual stage: ''The idea behind Paradygm Shift is similar to a shift in our focus. We can become so complacent, we are so comfortable with our surroundings, I think this is the time for electronic music to find a new mindset.'' Kicking off off with 'Red Machine', where again parallels can be drawn between the days of Minimal Nation, and Internal Empire - the sound is sparse and brutalistic, representing a challenged future. A progressive melody syncopates along the tracks percussive, backbone, arching its way into the track's eventual demise. On the B-side, 'Transform' provides a composition of stripped, down electro, while taking in the 606 style, and adding additional, textural depth. It's a track full of subtle melody, and high-ranging claps, that make 'Transform' the perfect transitional tool, and standalone floor-filler at the same time.

'Red Machine' and 'Transform' reflect Hood's modern take on challenging techno. Meditative in their sequenced repetition, the tracks draw you in with their audacious, and memorizing sequences. It's contemporary techno, albeit techno that reflects Hood's style and nature. Pulsating, electrifying, with dark undertones, and very much of that Detroit flavour.

Ahu's debut album from 2017, 'Nord Dream', was something of an overlooked gem from that year, but its musical palette of dubwise techno and ambient sounds caught the ears and enthusiasm of many. Danny Clancy was one such admirer, and in turn brings Ahu's sophisticated sounds to his Dichotomy Records label for the 'Atlas' EP.

Collating three tracks of pure and untethered house and techno, the 'Atlas' EP shifts tempos and moods with ease, from the celestial rhythms of 'Skyway', the pipe dreams of 'Mpale' to the 909 swing and the seraphic pads of 'Searching'.

Up and coming producer, Odd/Even label boss and close Stockholm Ltd affiliate Andre Kronert arrives on Figure with an astounding 3 track EP, completed by a deadly Len Faki Dub. Kronert has risen through the ranks yet stayed true to his reduced, warm and powerful sound strategy. The opening track G.I.A.N.T makes for a wonderfully tense opener, with its expansive dark sound design and deep dub kick arriving around the half-way point. This is countersigned then by two more energetic tracks in the shape of The Throne Room and Fallen Space, both pivoting over a fulcrum of classic synth hooks and carefully honed percussion. Len Faki takes The Throne Room into a different mental zone, with his almost tropical Dub version, ensnaring a freaky pitched motif to accent and build upon Andre s powerful original elements. Classic reduction, and an EP of classic Figure contemporary Techno.

After his last release on Neuhain, where he still had support from Giovanni Carozza, he is back solo on Neuhain this time. This time he comes with an original and three fat remixes. That's what he has Steve Shaden for himself, who recently attracted attention with releases on Naked Lunch or remixes for Linus Quick or Angy Kore. As a second Remixer, Dave Simon could be committed, which can look back on a successful year, with releases on Planet Rhythm, Digital DSR, AFU Limited or Driving Forces. The third remix comes from the label boss Daniel Boon himself.

Exit Safe Mode, a project by the visionary Margus Lo¨ve, establishing himself in Estonian technoid music, has converged its sonic baggage into the newly released debut album Immerse. The spheres created and recorded during 2008 - 2017 are travelling in ambient landscapes, while deserving to be called genuine contemporary music for its clarity of thought and musical focus. These eight themes are reminiscent of the dubstep-ish flows of Lo¨ve's earlier projects L-OW and 1DERL& that are giving way to more idiosyncratic lines. The depth of sound manipulations allows one to discover tones of life in the synthetic analog worlds and provides a body-forsaking sideview to the interpretations of stringed instruments. The created sonorous state of Immerse serves as an introduction to more rhythmic future affairs of Exit Safe Mode.

The Auckland-based, New Zealand club night 'Haven' has been a leading light in the pacific nation's small underground dance music scene in the past year. From their home of the intimate backroom of basement venue Whammy, founders Keepsakes and Jaded Nineties Raver have introduced the local night fiends to a diverse range of left-of-centre, techno-centric dance music in putting on shows with international artists from lo-fi Australian electro wizard Daze, to the harder-edged sounds of Ansome and UVB.Now launching as a vinyl-focused record label, Haven is attempting to push the best of New Zealand's new guard of outsider dance music to the international stage.Their first release gives us three crunchy originals from their club resident and New Zealand techno-export Keepsakes. 'Mind Your Manners Munted Millennial' kicks off the A-side with scratchy percussion, overdriven kicks, and screaming, squelchy synths with a cheeky character distinctive of the young producer's music. 'Maximum Mind Control' then takes us on a different bent with a synth-line sitting somewhere between chilled dub techno and industrial grit that increases in intensity, surprising with a an unexpected end-of-track change. 'Pick 'em Till They Bleed' then begins the B-side with swung and dusty drums reminiscent of the A1 track alongside a loony, gnarled synth-line sure to disorient many a dance-floor. Hard techno genius Ansome rounds off the EP with a rolling, industrial-tinged and crushing interpretation of the B1 to finish Haven's first foray on the international stage.

The Bunker New York is excited to be releasing LDY OSC's powerful debut EP 'Magic² of 8' which takes inspiration from Liaisons Dangereuses as much as it does from Sähkö Recordings and Mayan Cosmology.

Originally released as a B-side in 2007 on Figure's then-sublabel Podium, Len Faki's ‚My Black Sheep' was one of those rare tracks that unpredictably take on a life of their own. A veritable underground hit, it not only came to define the sound of Len Faki at that time but for many became equally synonymous with the state of the scene in Berlin around that time. Now that ten years have passed since then, we felt it was about time to finally treat the sheep to a fresh shave. Featuring a variety of vibes, Deetron first takes us for an extended trip along rattling drums, his mantra-like use of the vocal drawing the listener deep into the rabbit hole. Down there things start swirling even more wildly around Jimmy Edgar's marimba arps, while Truncate forcefully slaps us back on track. On the deeper flip side Cleric unexpectedly lays down a distorted barrage of broken beats amidst apocalyptic epic choirs and acid rain. Through the haunted shelters beneath the rubble Matrixxman weaves his subtle and dubbed out yet creepingly effective Isolation Mix. Coming as a digital-only bonus is Cleric's straightforward Y remix - its hard- hitting metallic stabs making for a powerful floor-weapon. While ‚My Black Sheep' already spawned a series of high-profile re-interpretations back in the day, this diverse remix- package successfully places the original within the present context. With this creative cut, the sheep is now ready for another decade's run!

Listening back to Roman Poncet's first releases on Figure just a couple years ago, they already hinted at the producer's keen technical abilities and a knack for rich texturing, resulting in tracks that were
both carried by force and form. What he delivers now is an impressively mature debut album, ripe with personal creative realization.

On Gypsophila the French producer uses the extended format to slowly shape up a scenery of epic proportions where surprise and constant change lurk around every corner. A certain sense of
progression and evolution runs throughout Poncet's music; it invariably keeps one locked in, no matter for the opening drones of Do Not or the patiently growing Thick Vegetation, which fuses tribal
percussion and choral chants to showcase another of this LP's key features: its dense soundscape, which at once feels inherently electronic yet deeply organic, translating the abstract futuristic themes
of techno into something jam-packed and heady albeit steadily grounded - a listening experience that is as dreamy as it remains tangible.

This holds true for the highly atmospheric synth-lead pieces, such as the cinematic intro Hello You, the elevating arp-ride Epreuve or the suspended celestial groove of Atlas. But equally goes for the floorfocused

Two Dutch institutions in Delsin and 2000 And One team up for a reissue of the 1994 EP Belongings. It was an early release on 2000 and One's influential 100% Pure label and found him in full on space-techno. The EP has been fully remastered and sounds as gloriously futuristic now as it did more than 20 years ago. 'It Belongs To Me (Version)' is an intergalactic techno track with pads drifting off to an infinite horizon as a soft acid line burrows into the big, icy hi hats and punting drums. It's perfectly spacious and sombre, while 'It Belongs To Me (Reprise)' is a much more downtempo and thoughtful version of the track where pained leads synths take the lead and the drums are off in the distance. It's the sound of resignation and dejection in techno form. 'Crystal' then layers in new age harmonies as classic dusty break beats do their dance below. Again the synths are smeared and grand in scale and the whole thing feels like a blissful rave comedown. Last of all, 'Bowed' is a happy and manic melodic track with warped bass and fluttering snares that carry you away to the stars.

It is safe to say by now, that Stewart's strength and appeal lies in his versatility and his most recent EP 'Shadows On The Wall' may be the best example yet. Wavefunction Collapse' by Coefficient was first released back in 2011 and it's among Prototypes' best-selling tunes. The track is an atmospheric journey into outer space characterized by Coefficient's wisely engineered FM synthesis and electronic drone acoustics. We decided to release it again, this time backed by a stomping, groovy and filthy remix signed by label owner P.God.
On side B, Ben Gibson makes his first appearance on Prototypes and brings us in a dark underground tunnel with Frontier', an ultra-gloomy tune inclusive of Ben's distinctive steely, sharp percussions and creepy pads.
Finally, Hoag's Object' by P.God combines dark Detroit-like melodic chord loops with hypnotic space bleeps, and plugs them on a grave and dense underlying beat structure.

Kyle Geiger will release his first single on Blank Code this winter, a pulsating techno stomper entitled 'Slingshot Orbit,' that comes paired with a minimalistic stripped-down edit of the track as well as a remix by LA's Audio Injection.

In the original mix, Geiger begins with a focused sonic foundation that incorporates the massive reverberating kick and synthetic murmurs have that become the signature of Blank Code's releases since the label's beginning. As the track builds throughout its six-minute run, torrents of metallic percussion and
waves of textured noise rush through the track, building it into a peak-hour techno selection that will resonate with the contemporary lover of harder electronic music. In Geiger's "Stripped Edit" of the track, the percussion is distilled down to its core elements, providing ample space for this track to be mixed and layered as a key element of a high-energy performance.
Audio Injection incorporates the distinctive groove synonymous with LA's raw techno sound to transform the track from a forceful stormer into a dynamic and mood-setting sonic exploration. Throughout the remix, the subtle elements of the original track are brought to the forefront, revealing their unique textures and careful
sound design. All three versions of Slingshot Orbit will appear on both the vinyl and digital editions of the release, due out on Blank Code in December 2016.

Lake Haze returns to One Eyed Jacks for the definitive launch of his "Aranhas" series - a run of releases themed around a fascination with spiders and gut-wrenching, rave-crushing dance music. Tracks such as "Rush Hour" (a sort of proto-aranha) and "Aranha Negra" are now available for the 1st time on vinyl, paired with the highly anticipated OEJ anthems "Aranha de Prata" and "Aranha Vermelha" - standout tracks in the sets of Photonz and Violet in recent months. It's not all about brute force here though; on top of his trademark slowed down gabba kick drums, Lake Haze lays some of the most emotional melodic lines you'll hear in a rave anytime soon, bringing true Lisbon melancholy to the fore in a truly unique way. Celebrating the imprint's 10th anniversary, Mike Dehnert returns to his own Fachwerk label with a new full length LP available in 2x12" and digital, following a striking 12" on DJ Koze's Pampa Records at the end of 2016. Across 10 tracks, here Dehnert explores new territory with a restrained and subtle sound while retaining his commanding touch when it comes to creating deep club music. Intro sets the tone of the album, providing an profusion of tidal tones and textures that soak the listener in sound. Before long though, you're listening to the percussive stabs and pensive drums of Between No Words. Here we hear for the first time on the record the subtle but remarkable vocals of Albert Vogt, who returns throughout the LP. Listeners will also be reminded of Dehnert's skill for crafting complex and emotional music with very few elements, which becomes only more evident as this LP opens up. From here Dehnert traverses through dubbed out techno, deep house and downtempo, all with an experimental playfulness and a lightness of touch that only a producer with his talent and raw experience could pull off. The album peaks with the storming Providing Home 2. With swirling, unpredictable arpeggios, hard hitting drums and a sparingly used vocal hook, this is the track that'll ignite ecstasy across dancefloors for years to come. From here, Dehnert quickly cleanses the palette with the beatless Starground, a ringing and pulsing synth piece, pierced by all manner of klangs and bleeps. This perfectly sets up the album's final epic, Laxwax. Another one aimed squarely at the club, but this time it's for darker dancefloors. In stark contrast to its predecessors on the record, this track is insular, hypnotic and raw. Not content to end on such a note, Dehnert provides one last exertion. Outro is bombastic and pounding, with a rave inspired synth line and heavily swung percussion. Topped with cut up and percussive vocals, the track lives up to it's name summing up the LP and adding to it at the same time. This thoughtful record takes elements of modern pop music and extrapolates them with a patience rarely found within the genre itself. Backed by Dehnert's exceptional experience when it comes to producing club music, the result is an album that's simultaneously poppy and experimental, yet fundamentally rooted in techno. It's for that reason that this will surely be such a crossover hit; it has a palette that is broad yet refined, that will undoubtedly reach new ears while appeasing and surprising familiar ones.

'Familly Matters Vol.1 is a 5 track EP that counts as the start of a new series on the 9300 Records imprint. It's the proper result of combined forces by these trusted beat suppliers and freshman 'Deris'. Each of them delivered their own personal homage to the thriving Belgian nightlife in the late 80's and 90's, when clubs like Boccaccio and later Zillion acquired an almost legendary status. To this day, their iconic neon-signs are still etched in our collective memory. In a decade where serious scandals, that even involved bribery, lead to heavy political disputes and a huge health-crisis (the Dioxine crisis) predominated Belgian media, people were searching for a way to escape reality and these clubs helped them to leave this world behind through music and entertainment. After a recent series of releases exploring the borders between house and techno on his own OFF Recordings, Crom offers his most peaktime and uncompromising tracks to date with this EP

Marco Shuttle first caught our ear many years ago when we discovered his music the old fashioned way, picking up his Clone Store Only Series record at Halcyon in Brooklyn. This mysterious record led to becoming obsessed with his incredible, selfreleased
podcasts that were floating around online at the time so we reached out to him and ended up working together to put his Fanfara EP out on our label in 2014, when he was almost unknown in North America. Since then, his music career has grown in leaps and bounds. He's no longer at his day job in the fashion industry but tours and produces full-time, releasing albums on his own Eerie Records, Donato Dozzy and Neel's Spazio Disponibile, as well as a string of killer EPs on several respected imprints. His productions and DJ skills have led to repeat bookings at Labyrinth Festival, Berghain, Concrete, Fabric, De School and just about everywhere else around the world where discerning heads congregate to hear great techno.

When Marco was in Brooklyn to play an 8 hour set at The Bunker Limited earlier this year he played some new demos that stuck out as something exceptional, even by his very high standards, and we knew we had his next record on The Bunker New York ready to go.

M.E.R - Montevideo Electric Recordings is an uruguayan record label named after its capital city, Montevideo. Wolfskuil founder Tripeo aka Darko Esser presents four esoteric cuts titled 'Synergy EP' on Rekids, including collaborations with Doka (as The Leap) and Clone Basement's Cadans.

As Darko Esser the Dutch DJ, producer and label owner has been active for over two decades, helming his illustrious Wolfskuil Records label, which has recently hosted records from Shlømo, Cadans and Rumah. Following a series of releases on his eponymously titled Tripeo imprint, Esser's appearance on Rekids is his 2018 debut and marks his first outing on another label in nearly five years.

Alongside fellow Dutch producer Cadans, who has releases on Neighbourhood and Clone (when not producer drum and bass as Icicle), 'Rave Tune' kicks off in emphatic style, delivering alluringly bright strings and oscillating bass slabs. Esser then pairs up with Doka as The Leap, producing alarming synth swirls and thudding percussion for an energy filled spectacle titled 'Idiocracy'.

On the flip, Tripeo balances otherworldly chords with slick drum design in 'Need For Nuance' before concluding with 'Zeitgeist' with its electro styled groove layered with glistening melodies, eccentric sonics and heavenly leads throughout.

Perfect excursion from layered old school breaks, melodic transportation to uplifting raw Techno and slightly darker Ambient notes. Weapon!

Exos joins forces with Gotshell a.k.a Alessan Main, the great ambassador of the Colombia electronic music scene for the fifth release on X/OZ. The pair met in Colombia made the decision to make music together. Over the next weeks they travelled together in Colombia getting inspiration from the Colombian spirits. The pair also teamed up with Maayan Nidam for a true jungle remix to go along with four original tracks with sounds that originate and fluctuate with the deep spiritual entities of Colombia.

* Jon Gurd's Birth Right EP is the first material from the Portsmouth based Techno producer in more than 2
years since his ventures on Octopus recordings, 8 Sided Dice and Quartz. The EP therefore indicates an
audible step change not just in the approach to production but also in the mindset and emotive feeling
behind each texture and layer. Having emerged unscathed from a traumatic family related drama Jon
communicates a tortuous and re-evaluated life message across all 3 tracks, and is dedicated to his brother
with a hidden meaning conveying, Tomorrow Is - Promised - To No One'.

* Dissecting the EP further the educated are blessed with field recordings, analogue rumbling and modular
synthesis exiting from almost 24 months of lab driven experimentation. No real process has been applied or
extant formulae followed and the EP's resounding success is that this now exudes what Jon feels' innately
rather than what the industry wants, therefore the journey, endless noise making and experimentation gives
a balanced and exciting offering. Jon comments seriously my process for producing this has been all over
the place, literally stumbling on shit, slipping over my own creative vomit, workflow went out the studio
window on day one'.

* A long time-friend and recording partner of Alan Fitzpatrick, as well as one third of Mister Woo with Dave from Reset Robot, Jon Gurd is best known for his work on the likes of Octopus Recordings, 8 Sided Dice and Quartz. Abundant with field recordings, analogue rumbling and modular synthesis, his latest signing to Derelicht is a result of almost 24 months of lab driven experimentation, and marks an auspicious return from a musical hiatus that stemmed from a personal tragedy. From the off, 'Tomorrow Is' is a driving piece of techno complete with sinister undertones and menacing atmospherics, meanwhile 'Promised' focuses on a low-slung groove as tantalising synths operate on top. The last original, 'To No One', then exhibits a deeper vibe with ebbing pads and spectral chords. Dave Clarke's decadent rendition of 'Promised' ups the tempo whilst demonstrating commanding kicks, until Ancestral Voices, the new project from Liam Blackburn (Indigo / Akkord), strips back the beats of 'To No One' for a subdued subterranean workout.

New York's Parka Records Returns With Korean-american Artist Lawrence Lee's 'biodome' Ep, Accompanied By A Remix From San Francisco's Vin Sol (clone Jack For Daze, Hnytrx, Nonplus)

Sardinian born, Berlin based producer Hubble is known to create implicitly ethereal moods. His way to keep people off guard as well as making a musical commitment through long excursion is unique to him. On this EP titles "La Rencontre" (eg. Meeting), he crosses paths with his Romanian friend Tulbure. Somehow managing simultaneous dissonance and concretion; 'La Rencontre' could be the soundtrack to both your birth and death. It is a boxer who's mastered the ring, and punch by punch you realize that it has you beat, but you are happy to wave a white flag and succumb to its presence.

The space in which the EP operates in is 360 degrees, tempos throb and the listener is transported to total darkness. Your only wish post listening, will be that you don't have to come back to the world.



Tulbure's track Condor is more of a mindcluster robotic swing that leaves you muted. While both tracks work together, this release is meant to be two variables of parallel worlds of these talented artists.

Pun Kuyen (Moon Night) is the second EP of the Nguillatun Records label. Auca immerses us in this album with a first track, Curico (Black water), with a techno from the depths of the water, dark hypnotism and pulsating loop. Puken (winter) is full of cold atmospheres and suspended drones that create tension. Lanahue (Lost soul) closes the album with a strong and intense original version, and a remix with low frequencies and beats that takes us almost to the mental disconnection, from the hand of Svreca, to take our breath away.

Berlin-based Pascal Hetzel returns to Caduceus Records with a new slice of gritty industrial-tinged techno and finely tuned sound design. "Noxious Stimulus", the EP's title track, is a heavy peak-time filler with a mesmerizing bleepy modular sequence on top of rough monochrome beats. On her remix, rising talent Denise Rabe cranks up the paranoia and turns "Noxious Stimulus" into an unrelenting pitch black grinder. "Pain Tolerance Threshold" starts off as hefty with yet another dose of metallic atmospheres and crushing modular sequences, until a bright pad appears out of the dark. Proper techno goodness for the wee hours in your favorite warehouse.

The first LP release for connected comes from Nandu and as with his previous EP releases the LP is a unique genre crossing palette containing elements from Deep House,House,AfroHouse,Electronic Techno and beyond brought together in Nandus' original style. Truly an LP that begs to be listened to from start to finish. In Nandus' own words: 'One mans high can truly be, another mans anxiety. In some parts of life this is very clear like having a baby, do drugs, to work, not to work, be an artist, be a banker and so it continues. Yin & Yang and the whole idea of duality is another way to describe this. When you go left you say goodbye to right - at least for the moment you choose left. What you choose is up to you. It wasn't always my dream to get up at 3pm to change diapers, but it was always my dream to have a family. And here the sacrifice is not even mentionable. It's more than worth it. In these cases you just have to look forward, but not without looking back. You need to learn, take it with you, and do better next time. This album is about how my highs also can be my anxieties."

Label-head JAMES KUMO brings three original cuts to his KMusic imprint with Plan B co-founder DJ SPIDER on remix duties. Title track 'Drifter' kicks things off as celestial pads swell alongside rumbling sub bass and ethereal arpeggios before off-kilter synths and rugged industrial drums are presented by New York's DJ Spider who steps up to deliver a darker and more dramatic aesthetic with his interpretation.
Next, 'Evolution' sees Kumo utilise stereo delayed chord stabs as underpinning pads create an ethereal feel. Rounding off the package, 'Spectro Jazz' sees a brooding top line resonating alongside jazz-infused atmospherics and subtle background effects to create a raw, refined and hypnotic finish to the release.

A memorably bracing, momentarily pummeling highlight of 'Song For Alpha', Daniel Avery perfectly bridges the light and dark contrast of his influences on standout cut, 'Diminuendo'. Uncompromising tech-noid drums establish genuine frenzy, matched by a pulsating industrial drone, ultimately collapsing into ethereal feedback, before one final round of frenetic rhythm.

On 'Hyper Detail', the intense acid lurking beneath the surface of 'Song For Alpha' is dramatically unleashed, easily matching the frantic energy of the previous track, and upping the potential for wide-eyed, rave-friendly electronic hypnosis. 'Light Of Falling Rain' is more severe and equally intricate, creating immediate enormous tension and re-lease with a barrage of snarling electro and expertly intertwined mi-crorhythms.

Finally, on 'Time Marked Its Irregular Pulse In Her Eyes', the disem-bodied elements of Avery's studio communicate something cryptic and unnerving as a farewell. The most uncompromising and purely physical batch of material to emerge in the wake of 'Song For Alpha', the 'Di-minuendo' EP finds Avery on urgent and ruthless form.
