Off the back of his release for Livity Sound, Timedance label boss returns for his most expansive work to date. The Monolith EP is comprised of three original tracks and a remix from renowned PA artist, Lee Gamble.

Inspired by the relationship between light and dark timbres, the title track takes on a low-slung, hypnotic pace.

"Reez" expands on this downtempo feel, focusing on a more dubwise aesthetic.

The B-side opener "Void" is an infectious, gradually building loop. Strong emotive melodies set the track apart from the artists' usual "headsdown" style. Lee Gamble's Reez remix deconstructs the propulsive nature of the original track into a hazy fog, closing the EP with a bold nish.

Hungary's fastest rising star, David Temessi, returns on Neuhain with his glorious ''Gashouder EP'' remixed by the top players out there. Neuhain's label chief Daniel Boon, Germany's heavyweight champions Torsten Kanzler and Sven Wittekind, Ukraine's superhero Spartaque and Italy's diamong Marc Troit created a package that will make every dancefloor look like the dancefloor of your dreams.

The Inertia sub-arm of Dutch label Delsin is back. After a series of 4 EPs back in 2012, followed by a mix compilation by Delta Funktionen, Inertia-5 introduces Discrete Circuit with a fierce three track EP that follows up previous releases on DVS1's Mistress Recordings. The German artists Andreas and Szymon have been working together since 2012 and also promote their own Away parties across Europe as well as running a label of the same name. Connecting Berlin with Detroit, their EP kicks off with 'Machine Code', a frazzled techno cut with bleeps and alarms, sirens and rusty synths that all make for intense listening. On the flip 'Recursive Descent' is even more unhinged, with a see-sawing, saw-tooth synth line ripping up frantic hits and loopy drums and getting right into your brain as it does so. 'Compiler' is a more subtle, stripped back and seductive techno roller with supple synths undulating above rooted, rubbery kicks and woodpecker like percussion. Textured and atmospheric, this EP is one for late night techno loving warehouse crews around the world.

Among Eduardo De La Calle's expansive output of some sixty releases over the past half decade and aside from releases on his own Analog Solutions imprint, and the like of Nonplus, Cadenza and Semetica - is a serie of four e.p. for Mental Groove, collected under the Analog Grooves banner. Started in 2012, it focuses on a more experimental and meditative approach to techno, one suffused with jazz sensibilities and cosmic mindset.' Brian Kolada, Resident Advisor (full article) This album is, in its limited to 150 6x12 box set form, an expanded edition of the four12 released since 2012 on Mental Groove Records (as Analog Grooves) that when completed would propose the listener a real complete journey album, in opposition to a collection of disparate dance tunes. Included here is a rare track (SP000) that was then pressed on 50 copies, an exclusive (The Window Rocket) and a nearly 20 minutes live space jam inspired by KLF classic album Chill Out' and Galaxy 2 Galaxy seminal Metamosphosis (The Creation of I.S.F. Unit ZC-121861 Stardate: 05 30 93)". The extras end with 10 loops inspired by the solar system. Overall something of a galactic trip all the way throughout the listening experience. The visual identity is made accordingly with the images engraved on the Voyager Golden Disc that was included aboard both Voyager spacecraft launched in 1997 and intended for any intelligent extraterrestrial life form, or the future humans. The labels are made from selected images of scientific interest out of the 116 contained onto this record.

Infamous for his part in Glasgow's DJ duo Optimo and the production partnership Naum Gabo (Speicher / Kompakt Extra), J.G. Wilkes is an esteemed music producer with a catalogue that has been building since the turn of the century. The 'Jaxon' EP is J.G. Wilkes' first widely available solo 12' release containing four exquisite cuts exploring the ethereal boundaries of electronica.

Taken from a limited edition mini album box set entitled 'German Pizza Party' (VF111), J.G. Wilkes' 'Jaxon' is the only track from that collection aimed anywhere near a dancefloor, in which rich and potent rhythms collide with foreboding frequencies. Cologne's Barnt isn't afraid to let the elegance of space and chaos into his heartfelt rework, solidly cementing the Koln-Glasgow freundschaft. The EP features two further productions from Wilkes; the melancholic, beatless and occasionally ruthless 'Bathing Beauty' in its original form and 'Useful Tool', given a turbulent rework by Naum Gabo.

Magdalena strikes again on Broken Mind Recordings, this time with her first release on vinyl.
Inspired on the track Agressiva of Front 242 and the corrupted political environment of her country, Colombia. Desobediencia Civil starts with a straight intro and evolves into an old school but at the same time fresh sound techno, calling the attention of mister Myles Sergé, who adds his quote to this ep with an exquisite, elegant and dark remix. Ian Pooley's his new techno label Montage follows up the inaugural release from his Silvershower alias by handing a label debut to Hans Berg, the Swedish producer with previous releases for Kant and known for collaborations with Johanna Knutsson. For his first Montage outing Berg delivers two original tracks showing both sides of his production talent. A-side 'Field' employs an elastic bassline that recalls some of the more dancefloor-focused workings of UK producers such as Four Tet and Joy Orbison, while 'Polar' sees the Swede head in a more stargazing direction, its trance-like melodies cloaking a sturdy backbone. Pooley's Silvershower alias rounds out the 12 with a darker take on the A cut, pinning the original's bassline to its heavy kick, ride and claps for a powerful techno roller.

Ian Pooley initiates his new techno label Montage by resurrecting his Silvershower alias. Best known for a pair of 12s released on Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 in 1996 (with a further EP released on the same label in 2011), Silvershower has been Pooley's preferred alias for his tougher, darker records for nearly 20 years. Following a great Berghain gig as Silvershower in 2013, Pooley decided the next step was to create an outlet for more original productions under the name. After several months working on new music and design concepts & signing artists such as Berlin's Hans Berg for future releases, the result is Montage, which arrives in early 2015 with the Damaged EP: three tracks from the Silvershower alias that combine a tougher intensity with Pooley's usual adeptness for dancefloor grooves.

Aguirre is proud to present Les Séries Shandar, a re-issue series with a selection of minimal music records from Shandar's adventurous catalogue. This classic minimal music album is now available again on vinyl for the first time since the 70s.

In recent decades Steve Reich's music has been presented internationally at major venues, performed by high-profile musicians including the Kronos Quartet, guitarist Pat Metheny, and the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. But in 1970, when the music on this LP was recorded, Reich's audiences gathered in museums and art galleries to hear his work interpreted by the composer himself and a group of friends.

'I am interested in perceptible processes' Reich had written in 1968. 'I want to be able to hear the processes happening throughout the sounding music.' Four Organs is a radical realisation of this goal. Against the steady rattle of maracas, individual tones within a single chord are gradually lengthened. No changes of pitch or timbre occur, and the drawn out nature of the process provoked outrage at some early performances, when audiences found themselves caught up in a decelerating loop, being dragged towards stasis. Phase Patterns, composed a month later, relies on a phasing technique developed during Reich's earlier experiments with magnetic tape recordings, which he allowed to drift out of sync. Identical figures initially in unison shift out of phase, generating unexpected patterns.

When these pieces first appeared, on the adventurous French record label Shandar, they were regarded as defining works within a musical movement that had developed during the late 1960s. Reich was seen as a pioneer of minimalism, along with La Monte Young, Terry Riley and Philip Glass, whose music also featured in the Shandar catalogue. With hindsight the term is inadequate and inappropriate when applied to much of Reich's subsequent oeuvre, which includes rich and varied works such as The Desert Music for voices and orchestra, Tehillim - a setting of Psalms, and his multimedia opera The Cave. But these two works from 1970 are purely minimalist, in a way that the visual artists and sculptors who formed Reich's early audiences would have recognised.

These pieces may have clear affinity with conceptual art as well as the minimalist aesthetic, but Reich's allegiance is to making music rather than sound art or acoustic research. Characteristically, after creating Four Organs Reich looked for antecedents in musical history, and found them in the medieval organa of Léonin and Pérotin. His subsequent work has found acceptance and a substantial following within the established institutions of composed music. He has become a major composer.

In the same year that these Four Organs and Phase Patterns were written Reich travelled to Ghana to study with a master drummer. On his return to New York he started work on Drumming, an hour-long distillation of his interest in African and Balinese music and their polyrhythmic processes. It forms an impressive culmination to his use of phasing technique and is widely acknowledged as a minimalist masterpiece. But if it is the radical edge of uncompromising hardcore minimalism that you are after, this reissue of Four Organs and Phase Patterns delivers two key examples.

Modern Cathedrals was founded in Detroit in 2015. While the stylistic attributes of the label could be described as avant-garde, drone-influenced techno, the core of the label lies much deeper than dance music. While interpretations are as varied as listeners, the label's founder Altstadt Echo regards Modern Cathedrals as a geographically contextualized exploration of the struggle to find meaning in a world that is fundamentally indifferent to this basic human desire.

In older European cities that were once dominated by religious thought, cathedrals loom over the skyline and serve as a reminder of the ideas that used to give life meaning; ideas that many of us have implicitly left behind. Detroit, as a struggling post-industrial city, is involved in a constant dialogue between desperate hope and gradual decay. Excluding pockets of downtown commercialization, it is the scattered shells of empty manufacturing facilities that elicit the feeling that this city also placed its own worth in an idea that turned out to be a false promise. In this way, they serve as the city's true cathedrals.
The artists releasing on Modern Cathedrals utilize experimental techno as a medium to explore the creation of meaning without reliance on the dogmatic pursuit of temporary ideals. The result is functional-but-challenging dance music crafted without the need for a saccharine reliance on tried-and-true techno tropes or the fabricated themes of peace and love that plagued rave music. Instead, it attempts to create an authentic interpretation of the imperfect human experience that we all live, both in Detroit and beyond.

Esther Duijn has been going strong lately since she made the jump to Berlin. A consistent output of tracks, a filled dj schedule and new found scene inspiration was just what the doctor prescribed.
Together with usual suspect, Steady Douglas as "Duijn & Douglas" & new found collective with Marc Campati & Steady Douglas called "Linnenhood", she delivered two tracks that pretty much are signature dishes: Duijn & Douglas' "Valse Lucht" bounces back and forth between the baselines, probably giving many sync buttons a run for their money. Everything in this track twists and turns, yet it remains catchy and playable like no other.
Linnenhood's "Step Write" is slightly 'calmer', a perfect early-hours-track and a 9 minute trip through the darker parts of the wood. We would say it 'gets the party started' but our therapist told us that sounds too disco.
Anyway, both tracks have been mastered by Dimitri Andreas, who recently spent half the defence budget of Nigeria on a brand new sound studio, so you can be sure that the vinyls will sound perfectly.

The second offering from Freerotation brings the vinyl debut of Irish born, London resident Monoak. Monoak's distinctive style of gritty, melodic techno displays an artist engrossed in his work, wanting to take us on a unique journey into uncharted territory. Melody and percussion interchange amongst a framework of deep, broken, pounding kicks, and sizzling highs. The Resolute ep is brimming with tunes which stay firmly in your head, and exude a timeless quality, a rare thing these days from a new producer taking his first steps.

Soma welcome in 2014 in style with a fantastic new single from Roberto Clementi backed by a more than stomping Par Grindvik rework of title track 'When You'. Clementi has had a successful start to his career as a Soma artist. His unique take on deep, melodic techno fused with aspects of electronica and dub has earned his a place as one of our top new artists of recent years. As we work toward the release of his debut album this summer, Robert brings 2 choice cuts from a bank of extremely well produced music.

Sweden's Par Grindvik opens up the EP as he brings us his take on Clementi's 'When You. Park is known for his old school techno and this remix is no different to his usual output of quality music. Deep and hypnotic Par strips Clementi's original down and builds it back up into a dance floor monster!

The original mix of 'When You' follows and is perfectly true to Clementi's style. Bouncing, rhythmic percussion set atop emotive and sweeping electronics yet still driving and designed for definite toe tapping. Splashes of vocoder enhanced speech make this track trip out even more and Roberto uses each element perfectly to allow the track to pulse and flow.

Lei rounds things off on a decidedly dubby/jazzy note. Broken and trippy beats give way to delicate percussion and deep sub bass, giving this track a fantastic groove. Roberto shows his grasp of melody perfectly and fluttering, jazzy keys spring to life offering a more contemplative mood. One of his great talents is being able to make tracks that slot nicely into the realms of pre and post clubbing and this fits that description to a tee.

Ever find yourself on a long escalator in a train station An undistinguishable robot voice is coming from the intercom. You move effortlessly on this machine, yet you do not understand the sounds coming towards you. This is the essence of 'Vestibule.' Followed by the ecstatic rhythms on 'Rising', these two make a colorful A Side in contrast to the black and grey of Solpara's previous releases.
The B Side features two remixes, one by the prolific L'estasi Dell'oro and the other by the newest member of the Booma roster: Belgium Lights. L'estasi Dell'oro questions the four to the floor pattern of the original track and pops it upside down, like the negative of a photograph, giving it an unexptected bounce with marvelously swung hi hats. Belgium Lights takes a deeper approach to the remix and stretches it out to almost 9 minutes, pulling us down the escalator, at a faster pace and through a darker tunnel.

Orlando Voorn's new label is a platform for talented artists.
The first release comes from Asian Psilocybe Foundation. It includes remixes by label head Orlando Voorn himself and by Jon Dixon.

Berceuse Heroique continue their quest to put out only the most distorted, dystopian and intense techno cuts by turning to sometime Tabernacle, Scenery and Mathematics man Mark Forshaw. The wild freakery of A-side "The Fuck" is strangely alluring, with ragged, undulating acid lines and psychedelic electronics - most notable in a trippy multi-speed breakdown - sitting alongside head-mangling, in-your-face beats. The flipside IBM Remix is a little more straightforward, but no less intense, with juddering, cyclical loops and deliciously darting synth lines riding a pounding but rolling techno groove. As ever with BH, it's not for the faint of heart, but is certainly very good.

Funk You quickly established itself through the Italian scene, since it formed as a djs and party promoters collective, as one of the biggest techno parties in the country.
Funk You is now coming out with a limited series of vinyls. The first wax -The Continuous Body - is an outstanding work from Oniks, raised in Milano and residing now in the well famous Dude Club, with three originals tracks and one remix from Max_M, the label manager of M_Rec Ltd.
The tracks draw upon ideas from various points, forms and transform it on a physical object.

Food Music welcomes A1 Bassline to the label to release his first LP - Technicality.

The album's title draws from the club night 'Technicality', a monthly Drum & Bass night at Herbal in East London, which is run by Chris Inperspective and continued the sound of early Reinforced and Metalheadz records as well as pushing new forward thinking music. The album is centred around growing up as a teenager discovering this jungle/drumfunk sound through his college friend Rahim (Lab Creation), where the likes on Fold, Ben UFO, Breakage would attend the club.

In addition to well received records on DirtyBird, Pets Recordings and his collaborative work with Leon Vynehall as Laszlo Dancehall, the album is a stamp on A1's sound and his influences from his teenage years to growing up and discovering House and Techno.

Dreams of the future reveal more about the mind of the dreamer than the future itself". The third release of Rome-based label Suburban Avenue consists of 3 original tracks from the Liverpool-based producer Binny and bouncing remix by Zadig. "Polymorph" and "I/O" are oldschool, direct techno bangers that draw influence from Detroit and beyond.
With its minimally acidic riff, "Signal Repeat" is the perfect counterbalance to these tracks and is reminiscent of Robert Hood's early productions. Zadig's electric remix of "I/O" takes the core of the track and re-works it into a subtle, yet tough peak-time groover that will slot easily into any discerning techno DJ's set.

Dan Beaumont makes his debut on NFS with a solid double helping of deliciously deep beats, 'Bath House' already making a splash as it prime position on Matt Tolfrey's newly released 'Fabric 81' mix CD. Hot Swedish duo Mr Tophat and Art Alfie' also provide a remix in their inimitable style.

June Records presents Guilty Pleasure by DimDj. DimDJ is a recording artist from Thessaloniki, Greece and a veteran DJ in the Greek underground scene. He is also a member of the groups Anopolis and Audio Atlas. This record consists of live acid house recordings on the A side while on the B side the atmosphere is more cosmic.

In the ever continuing stream of Soul Notes releases. Labelowner Kastil is pleased to announce the new 'Stale' outfit.

Stale by Soul Notes will purvey jagged sounds throughout the more adventurous sides of Techno.
With a most appropiate title for the first track (The Beginning) , Kastil takes one to faraway lands through noteworthy
drum patterns and animated synth work.

The sophomore bit (Paroxetin) is reminiscent of hardware hymns somewhat in a Den Haag fashion.
Unilluminated acid sword fights meet tragic pads that float throughout. Sheol (B1) is Kastil's menacing take on profound techno.

Secluded bounds back onto Soma with another double whammy of solid big room Techno smashers. The Glasgow based producer aka Hans Bouffmyhre is really hitting home with the new alias and finding solid ground on Soma. Ukrainian duo Woo York bring their talents on the flip for a essential remix.

Remember heads things up with thunderous percussion and wave after wave of typical driving, pulsating synths from Secluded. Easily found on the biggest of dance floors with plenty of jack.

Forces Of Nature gives a more rave element to the EP. Slowly progressing saw waves seep through an evolving pad as subtle rides sit atop that perfect 909 clap and punishing low end giving the perfect Techno Tool.

Woo York round off the EP with the funked up version of Remember. The duo don't mess around and get things going straight away using fast paced drums and a more muted, dubbed synth to great effect.

Soramimi is a producer and performer based in NYC. "Soramimi" is defined as a mishearing or feigned deafness. She regards her music as narrative imagery, with a sound illustrated by cerebral textures and dreamlike compositions. Soramimi brings a distinct fluency and gravity to the table of experimental dub techno.
The concept of Dusk Notes is to cater to both the dancefloor and the introspective listener. Founded and operated by Soramimi and Cory James, this NYC label focuses on the spectral and the subconscious.Dusk Notes 002, Rapture Insignia EP, consists of 3 original tracks by Soramimi, and a remix by Jordan from New York, who has released on Soul People Music, Ornate Music and Finale Sessions. Vinyl release comes with a printed insert of hand painted artwork.

Come on, be honest. You also have been waiting for this. For more than seven years now, the 27-year-old Frankfurter Chris Tietjen stands, like hardly any other DJ, with his Cocoon mix compilations for the sound of this label. Apart from Sven Väth, maybe... So, it was really time for Tietjen to carve his music-aesthetical biases finally into vinyl, because for the value-oriented and highly dedicated DJ, it's a matter of honour to release his tracks in the traditional EP format only. The three tracks on the '341 EP' are not least a deep bow before three of the most important protagonists of the Rhein Main House scene. 'Activ", which was composed together with Cécille producer Markus Fix celebrates a deepness that is on the one hand accented by LFO bass lines and a jazzy-sketchy lightness, but on the other hand still pushes forward at a max. With Frank Heinrich aka Reboot, Tietjen had already cooperated in 2008 for the Cocoon Ibiza pre-season mix CD 'Disco Invaders". With its flute melody lines, their co-production 'Just Happens' presents itself even slightly more organic, before Tietjen sits down in front of the TV with none other than Ricardo Villalobos. All jokes aside, 'TV Watching' combines the suggestive effect of Villalobos' unmatched sense for broken rhythmic textures with Tietjen's very precisely thumping bass dub, and reminds in his hypnotic impact almost of Villalobos' masterpiece from 1999, '808 The Bassqueen". Then, the two release you to the beach with a wistful guitar - it's summer in the city!

Inspired by his DJ residency at Limelight, beginning in 1993 at the famed the New York venue, the wheels behind David Sumner's Function project began turning. In 1996 the first wave of productions emerged, with his now classic debut on Damon Wild's Synewave label.

Amidst a booming New York House scene, Sumner watched many producers take the big studio, big budget route towards major labels and pop aspirations. Inspired by his residency at Limelight, and fiercely independent activists like Jeff Mills or the Underground Resistance, Sumner chose techno as a purer artform, an alternate path, and Synewave numbers 24 and 30 were some of the first records to bear the name Function.
Now, some 18 years later, Infrastructure continues its reissue series of classic Function productions, leading towards a double CD package entitled 'Function - Recompiled: Various Works & Pseudonyms, 1995-2012', due for release early November.
Both 'F3' and 'F4' are lifted from the F(Q): Function of Bandwidth EP, while 'Shift F1', originally a shorter live session included on the 'F(C): Function Of A Constant' EP, has been edited and extended by label co-partner Ed Davenport aka Inland.

'Elasticity' is the Bristol based artist's second long player, and the follow up to his acclaimed 2013 debut, 'Dream Ritual'. Having last released a trio of singles in early 2015 (for Hypercolour, Secret Sundaze and Elastic Dreams), 'Elasticity' marks a return for A Sagittariun, and fans of the slippery and elastic sounds that hallmarked his debut album will not be disappointed. 'Dream Ritual' helped firmly establish A Sagittariun as an artist whose musical chops and integrity operate largely outside of the mainstream and a producer who chooses to put the music firmly center stage, whilst opting to remain relatively anonymous within the music scene. A Sagittariun explains; 'Elasticity was recorded over quite a short period, but the sketches and ideas have been germinating for some time, so sonically it's very coherent and consistent and moves in a way that I personally like albums to move in, with a narrative and flow that holds you right to the end. The recipe for Elasticity was always to be malleable and pliable with the sounds and tempos; for me it's all about the listening experience, and creating a landscape and a world within that one can really get deep into and explore, it's optimistic and progressive music for the head, heart and feet. I really do advise the listener to don headphones and take the trip with me".

Epi Centrum is Jurek Przezdziecki, who you may be familiar with thanks to his numerous releases on labels like Cocoon, Affin and Synewave. Known for always pushing sonic boundaries, as well as seeking new sources of inspiration, he is undoubtedly one of those artists who does anything but tow the line. Raw, organic electronics, mixed with precision in execution are at the very heart of Jurek's output and his work has thus far received praise from the likes of Depeche Mode, Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth and Damon Wild.
You might be asking yourself what exactly made them like his music so much. Well, stop thinking about it and give it a listen for yourself as Jurek presents 'Raw' under his Epi Centrum alias on Damon Wild's Synewave label.
The aptly titled 'Raw' is exactly that. Its complex layering of a burly bassline, meeting a distant vocal sample amidst the electronic bleeps and beats that collide over one another creates a unique and uncompromising sound.
The release also boasts first-rate remixes by two of techno's current heroes. Function (Dave Sumner) of Downwards / Sandwell District fame turns in a dark and dappled version that's stamped with claps and a driving beat, while LA's Audio Injection from Droid Behaviour turns up the bass and picks up the pace for his west coast butt-shaking rendition.

Iosefa Manumaleuna, aka DJ Hyperactive, is now back in Chicago after nearly 20 years in LA. Prior to his return, his classic Wide Open track got a serious re-working by Berghain resident Len Faki on Figure. As part of the Droid Behavior crew he released the 25Hrs. EP on Droid Recordings. More recently another DJ Hyperactive classic "Venus" got re-released along with Ciren and Truncate remixes on the "Venus Revisited" EP on Chris Liebing's CLR imprint. 2012 rmarked the return and start of a heavy remix cycle starting with Luis Flores "The Word" and recent remix of Mike Gervais "Churn" both on Detroit based Blank Code, Impact Unit "Dread" on Silent Steps, Manic Brothers "Sledgehammer" on Octopus Black Label, Truncate "31" on Gynoid Audio and the current list of TO DO's is long...!
The first release back in 1997 on 4 Track Records was by DJ Hyperactive titled P.51 and here were are nearly 20 years later and we're going to see the next release again by Hyperactive on vinyl again titled "Black On Black" EP. This EP will be three tracks, 2 which are acid tracks and one long experimental spaced out track.

Following up his debut on the label, JC Laurent successfully returns with this memorbable four tracker, Southside' EP. Using his influences from deep within Berlin and detroit, he resumes where he left off, continually blurring the lines between techno and house with an uncanny ability to make it look easy.

Tom has been busy releasing on labels such as Run Out Run, Stockholm LTD, Ear to Ground, Inner Surface and The Corner. additionally, his globetrotting dJ skills have found him inside Berghain and also a standout appearance at Boiler room in london. we love his work and glad he's a part of it.

Und genau darum dreht sich auch Verbalizer, das nun erscheinende Album von Anthony Rother, auf seinem neuen Label Nextdata.

Der Club als abstrakter Raum. Es geht um das Loslassen. Menschen machen sich frei, begegnen einander
und die Musik wird zum gemeinsamen Taktgeber.

Irgendwann nennt Rother diesen Prozess - die Dramaturgie der Ekstase', kann sich dabei aber das Grinsen
nicht verkneifen. - Die Leute sollen mit Verbalizer einfach ihren Spaß haben. Ich stand im Club und fühlte
plötzlich den Sound für dieses Album.

Verbalizer treibt im Raum nach vorn, ohne ins Intellektuelle abzugleiten. Es ist die Geschichte, der Augenblick und das anbrechende Abenteuer einer tanzenden Gesellschaft, irgendwo auf dieser Welt.
- Ich war auf der Suche nach einem expandierenden Klang. Dabei war wichtig, wie ich diesen Sound den Synthesizern in meinem Studio entlocke, so dass dabei eine Kraft entsteht, die alles Weltliche und den Alltag beiseite zu drücken vermag', erklärt Rother den hedonistischen Ansatz von Verbalizer.

Club-Tracks wie diese kommen ihrem Wesen nach ohne erzählerische Inhalte aus. Dennoch sorgen sie
beim Hörer für das Durchleben - oder besser für das Durchtanzen - ihrer ganz eigenen Geschichte. - Einige meiner vorherigen Alben haben ein komplex durchdachtes Konzept. Verbalizer wechselt
dagegen vollkommen die Perspektive: Der Inhalt und was sich aus dem Album ergibt liegt im Körperlichen, dem unaussprechlichen.'
Um es also kurz zu machen: Verbalizer - um zu verstehen, sollte
man das Album feiern.

Onnset's first release by Jamie Curnock begins the project with an introduction into the tougher sounds from the label in the form of 'Grown' and 'Transportation'. Truss manages to take this a step further with his punishing remix.

As Onnset isn't strictly defined by a heavier sound, there is always room for the more experimental, as shown in the opening track 'Extract' and the deeper final track 'Scavenger'.
