The debut EP on Council Work from label owners Frankel & Harper. The Trimmers EP contains 2 originals, the first in the form of "LHR.AMS", a heavyweight slice of UKG with strong influences taken from the European house scene and also their drum n bass background. "Trimmers" is a raw dub and jungle infused cut with a sub layer guaranteed to shake speakers stacks. INSTINCT joins for a remix and switches things up by adding a catchy vocal which definitely passes the old grey whistle test.

Though known as a touring and recording musician associated with Nine Inch Nails, Alessandro Cortini has really come into his own via his Forse trilogy, and his 2014 Hospital Productions debut, Sonno. For his Hospital follow-up, he maintains the grittiness and intimacy introduced on his debut, but expands on it, offering a wider spectrum of emotion and depth. Like Sonno, Risveglio was written and recorded while on tour. The drive to create intimate works during late-night downtime reveal Cortini to be committed to personal vision beyond the call of duty. While Sonno was created using only a 202 and delay, Risveglio adds a TB303, synced to the 202. In his own words, 'The 303 can be such a haunting instrument used in a certain way, and I felt it completely fit the mood of the previous work I have done on the 202, especially when given a specific location in space....it's such a living instrument.' The addition of TR606 gives one of the pieces a rhythmic pulse that separates it from the preceding synthscapes and renders Risveglioaltogether a more dynamic affair than Sonno. With Risveglio Cortini emphasizes the imperfections and visceral textures of electronics absent from so much contemporary solo synthesizer music. He carves out a similar space to that formed by Kevin Drumm's releases for the same label in the worlds of Drone and Noise by finding the emotional and, ultimately, human voice within synthesis.

Ben Rau has had a great start to 2018, successfully launching his new label META , and recently returning from his latest tour of Australia.

It is obvious Ben soaked up the sun drenched culture and musical inspirations down under, as his latest INKAL release "Systéme Solaire" showcases Ben's diversity in the studio, and a more melodic side to Ben's sound that perfectly balances musicality while maintaining underground credibility, amounting to what is arguably Ben's strongest work yet.
With multiple represses on each INKAL release so far, the momentum is building for Ben and INKAL004 will only serve to enhance his ever-burgeoning reputation as a purveyor of dancefloor-ready weapons.

The EP kicks off with the title-track A-side "Systémes Solaire", a track which displays all the trademark influences Ben Rau has become synonymous for , as expert drum programming glitchy percussion and a rolling funk bassline combine to provide the groove.

"Systéme Solaire" has hooky elements in abundance, as a combination of chord work and constantly evolving synths team up to create a memorable, peak-time bomb. The B-side, "Expand", continues in the same vein, as a short, bubbling bass stab drives the track forward and modulates to provide an acid vibe, joined again by luscious piano chords and licks and the Expand' vocal, which switches up from a whispering atmospheric to a heavily effected, pitched tone that keeps interest throughout. All the while accentuated by fractured groovy percussion, piano licks and open hats that shine over the whole track.

Arandel's new opus, 'InBach', released 24th January 2020 by French label InFiné, pays a poetic, infinitely respectful and innovative homage to Bach's sacred workings.

Arandel was granted limitless access to the galerie of (sometime rare and ancient) instruments, as a well as a countless recordings of the prestigious Musée de la Musique in Paris with a view to sounddesign his brand new creation. He performed a few months after at Philharmonie Paris a hybrid live performance/DJ set 'Switched on Bach', named in acknowledgement to the legendary 1968 by American composer Wendy Carlos (Tron, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining).

From candles to LEDs, from DJ sets to museums, from historical instruments to machines, from Bach's themes that have entered the collective unconscious and inspired contemporary flesh and blood musicians… 'InBach' was a foregone conclusion.

In the immensity of Bach's oeuvre, in the company of his fellow wanderers, within the constraints of his-torical instruments, emboldened by the delightful, sometimes technically dangerous friction between acoustics and electronics: Without a net, Arandel walks a tightrope without a faux pas.

Next up on Bonzai Vinyl we have some manic minimalistic Techno on 12” vinyl with the massive club stomper One Finger from DJ One Finger. Originally released on Planet Of Drums in 1996, this one became an instant hit with the spirited club fraternity. DJ One Finger is a project by UK Acid pioneer Tim Taylor, responsible for a number of now considered classic tracks and has released under various guises on a host of labels including Missile Records, Clockwork Recordings and Red Alert to name a few. On this release we have a 2019 remix from the newly formed O.R.B., who are stirring the pot with some tasty Techno treats on the brand-new label After Dark alongside the Original Mix from 1996.

O.R.B. is a trio of old guys who are into making proper upfront Techno using modern methods with that delicious old skool flavour. CJ Bolland is considered with legendary status amongst a generation of electronic music lovers. From his early days collaborating with like-minded enthusiasts in projects such as Space Opera, Phantom, The Project and Sonic Solution to name just a few, to laying down his first studio album titled The 4th Sign which went on to become an iconic pressing. Steve Cop has contributed heavily to Techno in the early nineties. He is the other half of Sonic Solution along with CJ and we all know the top tunes they turned out under that guise. A very much in demand DJ, Steve has played all over Belgium and more recently he has been featuring in several parties held by the mighty Bonzai. Dany (Steel) is a veteran of the Bonzai posse having released tracks under Batteries Not Included and D-Bedroom Visitors well as a few cuts on sub-labels from back in the day. Dany joins forces on the decks with Steve using his Steel persona and they are regular artists on Bonzai’s party and festival line-ups. On the remix, the guys have stayed true to the original, interpreting the main hook in all its glory with a slight twist along the way. The drums pound out a solid beat that will definitely rattle the bass bins in any venue while the bright percussions will get the asses shakin’ for sure. A superb production to give the younger generation a glimpse at how Techno should be.

The Original Mix is a wonderfully simplistic construction which gives the impression that the main hook is played with just one finger, which is most likely the case, but the impact is huge and there can be no doubt that this spawned a series of copycat style tracks over the years. The hook is mesmerising, a simple trail of 16th notes that go from polished and shiny to gnarly and distorted to the backdrop of a chaotic drum arrangement that is filled with thumping kicks, shuffling percussions and noisy snares. With the current trend in rehashing the classics, this one will fit right in at any up-for-it party.

Guerrilla-dropped with no hype, build-up or blaring pregame klaxons, 'From The Deep' is the Manchester MC's most raw, honest and revealing album to date. File under switch-flipped; Delroy Pottinger's third solo artist LP takes us right back to his hip-hop foundations as he sets the coordinates for Planet Roots and gives us a classic vibe time trip that's every bit as personal as it is gilded; soulful, stripped back, soaked in positive messages but shadowed by a bleak demons, 'From The Deep' is the sound of a man hauling his way out of a black hole with pure hope.

Produced with rising Manchester beatmaker Pitch 92 over the course of an inspired two week writing exploration, 'From The Deep' is DRS's first hip-hop LP since his debut post-Broke N English solo album 'Grown Man Biznizz' in 2010 and tells the story of a man with a painted on smile and a barbed soul behind the bars. His own personal way of dealing with tragic losses, knowing his heart that will never fully heal, each track on 'From The Deep' is Delroy's message to himself and anyone who's suffering that things will change.

A way of returning to reality and putting inner demons on blast, this is less of a trip into outer space but more of a safe landing back to earth from outer space where it's easier to hide from the truth. With releases on the likes of Organic Music, Housewax and (djebali), plus a string of stand-out EP’s via their own labels Sintope and Sintope Digital, Timisoara’s NTFO have established themselves as key names within the realm of minimal and deep house since making their production debut back in early 2008.

Having released their ‘Esperantza’ EP on the label last year, here we see the pairing return to Bondage Music in fine form to open their account in 2019 with the impressive ‘Dobr’. Title cut ‘Dobr’ opens the EP as the duo quickly go to work, introducing a slick blend of sharp drum shots amongst snaking bassline patterns, whilst ‘Blissed Out’ combines organic percussion licks, punch low end tones and warping synth leads to great effect.Next, the first vinyl only track on the package ‘Riddin’ welcomes dubby pads and crisp hats before flowing steadily into the slinking, metallic tones and 303-tinged bass stabs found throughout ‘Standers’.

This new record sounds like it could have been released in 1994. He uses references from rave, acid and gabber together with his fresh approach, the result are 4 club-ready cuts to hit massive sound systems.

Paris-based DJ & producer AIROD aka Dario Brkic returns to Amelie Lens' Lenske for his second 12" on the Belgian label, 'Rave Cycle'. Previous solo EPs on Molekul, on his Elixyr and the acclaimed 'Voltage' EP on Lenske earlier this year have brought him to play at some of the most emblematic clubs of the international circuit and become part of the Exhale showcases. Following a new round of bombastic releases by the Lenske crew: Farrago, Milo Spykers and Lens herself, it's now the turn for the Elixyr Records boss to bring the heat.

As expected from AIROD, this new record sounds like it could have been released in 1994. He uses references from rave, acid and gabber together with his fresh approach, the result are 4 club-ready cuts to hit massive sound systems. The A side features the title track 'Rave Cycle' and 'Falling Angels' that with epic narrative and 303 conquering waves become perfect anthems for sweaty warehouse parties. 'Bloodshed' on the flip-side illustrates Dario's acid exercises in pure form while 'Fury' is the final weapon to burn the dance-floor with hardcore vibes.

Haru Nemuri Was Born In Yokohama In 1995. She Started Her First Band At The Age Of 17, Playing The Keys, But When She Turned 21 She Switched Seats And Grabbed The Microphone. Since Then, She Has Been Performing Under Her Current Moniker While Writing All Music Herself As Well. Her First Ep Was Released In 2016, And Shortly After All Her Shows In Japan Sold Out Quickly. The Next Year She Played Some Big Festivals In Japan, Released Her Second Ep And Wrote The Title Track To The Film The Eternal Spring.but All That Could Not Prepare The World For What She Would Do On Her Debut Album Titled Haru To Shura, Which Came Out On Cd In April 2018. Mixing Elements Of Alternative Rock, Post Rock, (post) Hardcore, Spoken Word And Rap Music, She Created A Unique, Forward Thinking Experimental Version Of Modern Music, A Dense Fusion Of The Quirky Qualities Of J-pop, The Intensity Of Post-hardcore And Everything In Between All At The Same Time.

One of the world's most in demand DJs and producers, Noir has been responsible for some of the most poignant - as well as explosive moments in clubland's recent history. Frank Bean aka "The Classic Mutha Fucka" first hit the decks in the early 90's and has since then built up his audience through his own parties and very memorable classic electro DJ sets at the world renowned Killekill parties in Berlin.

Detroit Techno has inspired him throughout the years and that is noticeable in his productions under the moniker "The Almost People" and his new project "The Classic MuthaFucka”. The likes of Funk, Hip Hop and early Detroit Techno have helped him train his ear. What to expect from a Classic Mutha Fucka set? The perfect marriage of sound scapes blended with electro and hip hop that mutate every so softly into a zone that scrapes the surface of sex and nerdism. His delivery is ever so subtle to the musical ear and that of the listener/party goer. You must expose yourself to a full Bean set in order to experience the Tension that builds ever so subtlety. The ears and feet will tremble as will the mind and soul.

Manuel Tur & Adrian Hoffmann aka Clavis met at high school almost 20 years ago, they only joined forces in 2015 to release their first EP called "Banza" on Jimpster's Freerange Records, followed by the "Alcine EP" in 2016. Their first ever remix for andhim just came out while their ‚Circino EP' will be the second release on André Hommen's These Eyes label.

'Circino EP' contains two modern deep house tracks, each with their own independent character. Title track 'Circino' is an intelligent production, stacking layers of digital synths over a polyrhythmic beat and a straight, sub-heavy bassline while 'Cucupha's Ring' on the B side comes right to the point from the first second with a steady 5/4 beat and its euphoric melodic progression.

The EP will drop on May 12 and will be available digitally and as limited 12 .
