Voltage Festival is releasing a compilation of 4 EP's to celebrate five years of existence. The EP's are dedicated to four sub-genres of techno and represent the versatility in techno of Voltage Festival's line-up.

The series starts off with a classic techno EP called ‘Zener Diode’, followed by a deep techno one called ‘Wiring Harness’, an industrial release with the name ‘Circuit Breaker’ and closing with acid techno called ‘Resistor’. The artists featured on the releases already made their appearance at Voltage Festival, or are playing on this year’s edition.

Hypnotic grooves and deep evolving atmospheres: straight out of Argentina comes Yanee, a man whose back catalogue includes releases on labels such as Hangover, NewFact Music, Cyclic, Savor Music, Act Natural to name but a few.

'Eagles & Butterflies has taken storm in electronic wonderland' - Boiler Room Arpeggiator was originally titled '14 minutes of Arps' and its exactly that. Its one of the simplest tracks I'v ever made with probably only 8 layers that your weaves in and out the whole way through, really love the subtleness of this track where at the same time it is also a beast! Oyeme is maybe the E&B sound people are familiar with, big marimba melodies, fat sub and rolling hats with a big break, love this one Prophet was originally just an experiment when i purchased a prophet 6, its a little crazy and pretty full on, love the funky bass in the one from the SH 101. All the parts for this where recorded in a few takes live and two whole track was made in 2 hours!
U.K.-born, L.A.-based producer/DJ, Chris Barratt - aka - Eagles & Butterflies breaks all boundaries across the electronic music spectrum. His productions flow seamlessly through Downtempo, Techno, House and beyond, with releases on Innervisions, Bedrock, Exit Strategy, Sapiens and his own imprint Art Imitating Life. From remixing Underworld, RY X, Agoria, Moby, Andhim and Ludovico Einaudi, Eagles & Butterflies is the newest toast of the underground. His live sets have electrified stages around the world at events such as Circoloco, Awakenings, Mosaic By Maceo, Coachella, Junction 2, Lightning In A Bottle, Sacred Ground, Secret Garden Party, Tomorrowland and many more. With support from dance music heavyweights such as Dixon, Ame, DJ Tennis, John Digweed, Maceo Plex, E&B was also named one of Mixmag's Breakthrough Acts this year, was featured numerous times in DJ Magazine and was plucked for a guest mix on Pete Tong's BBC Radio show. Upcoming releases on Agoria's fresh imprint Sapiens, Art Imitating Life 003, features on Nic Fanculli's debut LP, a collab with John Digweed and a remix for RY X, the Eagle has most certainly landed.

With his last EP offering on Keinemusik, &ME displayed himself once again as supplier of anthems that easily reconcile style with
general floor purpose. You would think, such an universal and inexhaustible tune as this very After Dark' can only be a lucky hit.
But no, he's knocking out the classic material just like that. Another example Catalog number KM028, his brandnew Trilogy' EP.

The titletrack on A initially places a synth arpeggio behind a kick that in dryness is hardly to excel. The beat of "Trilogy" is then
seasoned with rimshot patterns until the saturated bassdrum comes in and paves the way to the dancefloor. &ME even refines his knack for stoic grooves on this jam and once again shows his sure feeling for suitable vocal features. Sabotas croon comes devoid of big gestures and still knows the ropes to appeal to the collective mentality of a clubcrowd.

On the flipside, Woods' is living up to its name from the very beginning. Woody percussions are thumping within an almost
subtropical scenario that's frequently pervaded by mighty synth clouds. And once again, there's an arpeggio sneaking in that at some point is taking the lead in this strictly instrumental affair. Add a break building that will educe a floor's complete euphoric potential without going for the rather mindless escalation and there you have it: a B-side that's actually more of an A-competitor.

Noventa is a new label by ROD showcasing 90's Techno excursions through modern ears. vinyl only.

Berlin-based art collective Live From Earth presents its new Klub Musik vinyl series premiering the very first issue LFEK001. Proper acid-techno tools at booming 140bpm, simply crafted yet broad sounding by Julian McCarthy aka MCR-T. McCarthy has been delivering heavy trap and ghetto tunes now for several years. Always playful and experimental he has formed a unique sound combining different genres and styles which he constantly improves as part of the Live From Earth collective. With the vinyl release "KRAFT" on the LFE Klub Imprint he is taking it a step further now and making room for his alter ego MCR-T to initiate a new electronic chapter of his creative work.

Fundamental Records' interesting electro music project called ''Electric Eclectics'' does not end with the monster release of 21 vinyl records in a wooden box (with tracks from Arpanet, Cygnus, Carl Finlow, Cignol, Jensen Interceptor and Microlith to name a few), but comes with the additional ''Ghost Series'', that fit perfectly in the remaining space of the ''Electric Eclectics'' box. Each record is a picture of the electro music released in the line that Fundamental Records has us accustomed, each sleeve silkscreen printed by hand in the same color of the vinyl record. Talk about the music itself is something that Fundamental Records try to avoid in each release, if you want to know why you only have to check the project Music for The Other People Place to understand this philosophy. Best advice, check all these excellent tracks!

MUZI cartel is closing the summer with their second VA vinyl-only release. The A-side covers two Italian artists, beginning with ROWLE co-founder Dubfluss on the A1. A smooth entry into his world called ‘Milow’, covered in evolving pads and an embracing bass line. The A2 is by Jamahr, a groundbreaking duo, crushing the floor with ‘Ice Shelf’. Dreamy, groovy, and guided by its snares, waiting for the right moment to kick in. On the B-side, straight from the white isle, 2Vilas enters the door without taking off their shoes. ‘Dirty Sequence’ is a fast-pitched track worth it’s name that will make you move no matter what. Time to clean things up for Romanian talent BRYZ with the perfect closing track ‘Silence’. Close your eyes and let his hypnotic signature sound carry you away into his realm. What you get is what you don’t expect, this is MUZI 002.

Wa Wu We is the artist alias and vinyl only label from Sebastian Mullaert. This is the third chapter, crafted in the Swedish woods. The first 6 episodes of the Wa Wu We label will form a collection of records, united by their significant and unique cover art and the way they've been recorded; this being the focus on improvising expression, resting in meditation and the nature surrounding Sebastian's studio. All 6 of these episodes will be released as vinyl only and will be limited to 500 copies each.

THE STORY Wa... the Wu are We Let the question appear, and dissolve in the dance! Wa Wu We is back with the third vinyl release, and like before its vinyl only. Deep jams nurtured by the Swedish woods, the home of Sebastian Mullaert.

The beautiful four colour sleeve is designed by art director Markus Clemmedson and include Sebastian's poetry.

A new release written and produced by CNCPT an Italian born, Berlin based producer who has previously recorded on Brenda records Germany. CNCPT Delivers a straight up percussion and synth fused techno EP welding together live drum programming, complex synth sequences and cutting edge rhythms that are made for the warehouse or dance club. Javier Carballo finally puts his stamp on Hector's VL Recordings imprint with the long awaited 'Silver Smile' EP. Presented as a double vinyl package that journeys through the different spectrums of underground electronic music whilst keeping the roots deep and dubby.

Javier has been with Vatos Locos since it's inception, and not only regarded as a key member of the crew, but also as one of Spain's finest promoters, DJs and producers. His most acclaimed project, the successful 'Under Your Seat' events, based out of the Canary Islands. Each party is set in a different location and he invites international names such Nastia, Ellen Alien, Seth Troxler, Art Department to Enzo Siragusa, Cabbane, and Hector.

He also runs his own imprint, Overall Music which he founded with Hanrfy Martinez, and has been on the remix duties for One records, La Vie En Rose, Drumma, Get Physical, and Inmotion.

With his profile building fast, Javier is proving to be one of the undergrounds most in demand DJs and producers, and with this double EP for VL, his status is only solidified further.

Some months after Joachim Spieth's Irradiance' album this 12' features the remixes from

Polar Inertia, Dino Sabatini, CHPTR and Evigt Mörker.

AdMaiora hits release number 20 in style with a fresh EP from Romanian established duo NTFO which includes two superb remixes by Lauren Lo Sung and Ilario Liburni. The guys of NTFO (Jargon, 20/20 Vision, Objectivity) are familiar faces for the label as we had the pleasure to release their remix of Ray Okpara's latest 'Sligerstai' which got tons of positive feedback and is currently dominating our Beatport top 10. Now they return with 'Lusy EP' - a lush pleasure of deep house vibes infused with their very own tech groove trademark.

Opener 'Lusy' rotates around a simple but effective shaken groove with thorny kicks and a super crafted sub bassline. The main vocal sample only appears in the right moments and adds a extra sense of elegance to the wandering synths and pads.
Up next, 'Unvelied' goes more minimal for a rubbery tech house piece where little jumbled percussion are immersed into a dark dimensions of gloomy bass and low freaky vocals. The electric synths give an extra spin to the track, derivering a slick house number and we're sure that the melody will stuck in your head for a long time.

On the flip side we have Liverpool's rising talent Lauren Lo Sung on remix duties for 'Lusy'. For Lauren, 2017 was her biggest year so far and 2018 is proving even better. She is consistently delivering well treated club hits on labels such as DJ Steaw's Rutilance, Vatos Locos and Circus, also co-founding her very own 'eleven records' and running sell-out LOLiFE parties in Liverpool, UK.  Lauren's deep stripped-back style focuses on, dub techno with a fresh, organic housy feel and this remix for 'Lusy' is no exception. With a crescendo hands-in-the-air version, Lauren arranges the remix on a pluck that dominates the track above teasing drums and intergalactic pads. A one-to-watch remix from one of the ones to watch stars of the near future.

Lastly goes the remix from Italo-Belgian Ilario Liburni who close the EP with a chunky and funky interpretation of 'Lusy'. Ilario had some massive vinyl hits lately and he also dedicates a lot of efforts on his own Invade and Cardinal labels. His version is dreamy and driving with bubbling synths and an infectious sense of loopines until the breakdown comes in with vague lo-fi synths and strings before it drops with the whispery vocals lending it into a late night feel.

The second feeder sound vinyl-only release is a solid blue pressing titled “Similar Feelings” signed by the local DJ and producer Piktor. The opening track, “Similar Feelings” (08:07), which lends its name to this robust issue, introduces the listener to an unremitted flowing state, continuing, on the same side, to deliver the punctilious energy of “The Night Before” (05:32). Side B is dedicated in full to “The Gift that Keeps on Giving”, a track that runs for 11:21, building a multispectral image akin to an unearthly reverie.

This moment marks another significant achievement for the feeder.ro platform, which connects the local and international artists with an insightful audience, for over 15 years. Stemming from the same passion for electronic music that created the weekly feeder sound series, the review column, as well as the possibility for renowned or emerging artists to contribute to the platform on their own, the release marks almost three years of collaboration with deejay.de. feeder.ro’s publishing schedule consists of weekly EP, LP, or VA reviews, coming from artists from all over the world, with a focus on the Romanian scene. Investigating the contemporary local culture we came across a lot of groovy sounds, mysterious rhythms and beautiful compositions, coming from more or lesser-known artists.
Feeder sound’s first vinyl-only release, Suflet Prezent EP by Romanian artist Dragutesku, was quickly sold out, benefitting from a worldwide motion through excellent record stores.

Born in Romania and now residing in Vienna, Austria, Victor Pavlovschi aka Piktor is well-known for “Acid Space EP” dropped on Lokomotiv and “Senin EP” on Subtil Records, as well as for his vibrant selections as a DJ. In the last few years, he steadily built a career around electronic dance music, playing alongside Barac, Sepp, Nils Weimann, Martin Glowacz, Oana Leca, Lisiere Collectif, Alexandra, Macarie, and many others. In 2018, his mix for feeder sound podcast series was number 1 in the annual TOP 10 with 12.9k plays counting now, while it provided one of the first listening opportunities for the tracks “The Night Before” and “Similar Feelings”, released now on the second feeder sound vinyl-only release, Similar Feelings EP. In 2019, the feeder.ro platform premiered exlusively “Up In The Air” from the “Second Thoughts EP” Baumbaum Label.

For our latest sequel, a fresh team of highly skilled workers has been employed. Each contributor has developed convoluted techniques, utilising their apparatus to its full potential. Rube Goldberg Series proudly reveals the fruits of their labour.

Another Cabarete Groove experiment that combines field recordings as the main source of sound design with analog Moog synthesis while keeping the intense Techno brutality defines their sound.

"The whole EP was inspired by this photography by Faisal Sultan: "It was the most incredible episode of synesthesia. I saw the picture and all the sounds immediately poured into my brain"

The tracks are accompanied by interpretations from The Automatic Message, Black Asteroid, Drumcell and Xhin!

After his successfull Internal Conversion LP on Polegroup, Christian Wunsch returns home to Tsunami Records with his third album Sadistic Rituals.

Wunsch has been an influential figure in the electronic music scene for over twenty years with an arsenal of unique sonic trademarks produced with high precision.

Sadistic Rituals is a mature labour from Wunsch's mesmerizing 11-track excursion into light and darkness, instantly recognizable as fitting with his own sonic identity.

The title hints at what to expect from the album.

Sadistic Rituals have been occurring for hundreds of years.
Allegations of sadistic rituals involved reports of physical and sexual abuse of people in the context of occult or satanic rituals. In their most extreme form, Sadistic Rituals and aspects of the occult involve a worldwide network organization within the world s most powerful and wealthy elite in which individuals are abducted for sacrifices, pornography and prostitution.

For the 12th installment of Jose Cabrera's self-titled imprint, Mario Castillo appears under his long running 'Kastil' moniker to deliver a four track EP of mechanical dance floor sounds. With 'Anemic Lust', the resident of Vitoria- Gasteiz, comes up with a worthy addition to his rapidly growing discography. After a period of DIY work through his own label STALE, Castillo returns to the imprint where he last released his collaboration album with J.C. in 2017.

Musically, Castillo's palette is ever expanding, threading into the murky waters of mechanical textures and balanced, hypnotic beats, Anemic Lust is showcasing Castillo's love for dubbed out chords, orchestrated string work and power driven drum programming. The opening track 'Submissive' is a firm work of dance floor techno which uses a drone-like scream as it's back bone. While the bass and drums alternate skillfully, the hats and percussive elements penetrate entire spectrum and act in a vanguard-like fashion.

'Omniscience' is a work of growling and low down dub chords that are supported by a vigorous kick drum, slabs of fx, and high spirited hi-hats that change throughout. 'Red River' is the first effort on the B side if Anemic Lust. Castillo changes the pace to introduce a more inky side to his music. The drum work and bass sounds are ominous but the mood is shifted by a more soothing ambiance around the two minute mark.

Also on the B side, label owner J.C. translates Red River into an experimental sounding work of wintry drums and notable sound additions.

We are very glad to welcome Mr. Lewis Fautzi to our team of producers. After having been part of our booking roster for a year, now it's time for this promising Portuguese producer to get physical on vinyl. Blood EP comprises two original tracks plus remixes by our very own duo Exium and our man Kwartz.
Four slices of futuristic, spacey, hypnotic techno, starting with 'Blood'. All the elements of this track are present from the beginning: synthetic bleeps, profound sub bass frequencies and percussive elements that come in and out of the arrangement subtly. Less than five minutes of mental therapy, and also a fabulous mixing tool.
Exium reinforces 'Blood', darkening the bleeps and modifying them, adding a fatter kick and a more dynamic arrangement.
On the B side, 'Skin' keeps the continuous sequences and a strong kick drum as a starting point, slowly adding hats and subtle drones that grow until taking more and more sonic frequencies. Hard and mental at the same time, it will explore the hidden territories of your mind, if played on the proper sound system.
Kwartz takes the obsessive elements of the original, filtering them to his own taste and giving more space to the bleeps, while putting the drones aside.
A great start in our label for this excellent studio wizard whose work has been previously released on labels like Soma Quality Recordings or Figure.

Sawtooth Novel is a killer track, a special weapon intended for the dancefloor. The rest of the EP turns around powerful techno to more deeper and mysterious atmospheres. After his brilliant works on Token and Cocoon Records, Johannes Volk continues to impress us ! Some Johannes's words about his work for Artcub Records : "The title track Sawtooth Novel is my little hommage to the old Sägezahn sound. There was a Sägezahn renaissance in the Rhein Main area end of the 90's, which was a huge influence for me when I went to clubs during this time. Counterbalance has a rather subtle approach, the track lives from it's effects and filtering. For the others tracks I want to express the more darker and dramatic side of techno, which is also well-equipped for the more excessive dancefloor hours

Obsessed with the cosmos, asteroids and relativity, PANSTARRS of which we know little, except that he is not a total stranger to
the electronic scene, nor to Technorama, delivers here a first 5 tracks of 100% electro rooted Detroit influenced music. Influences found in the works of other artists such as Drexciya (in ALL their projects), Klaus Schultz, Tangerine Dream, Model 500, Ectomorph and many others ... With his head in the clouds (the Oort one) But with his feet firmly on the ground, PANSTARRS lives and works on his musical projects from a little-known mountain, somewhere in France, and whose themes are almost always connected to his obsessions. ICE and DUST is the first opus of this artist who is already working on a first album. A first EP coming out of the depths of space and now is in its own orbit .
