In his cellar Robert started organising parties that became very popular in his neigbourhood. Some of the diehard visitors of Robert besement parties were inspired by him and became also DJs, amongst them was DJ Rush others became Rapstars like R Kelly. Robert was going to become a police officer up untill he spun abroad in Italy and realized his true passion. It was actually in Italy where his female fans named him Armani because of his designer clothes he loved to wear. Robert's Influences include Armando, Mike Dunn and Frankie Knuckles. He sees his music sticking with old styles and doing whatever comes to mind'. Producing with labels including Dance Mania, Pushpac, AVC, BML, High Octane and many more Armani has captured the ears of fans and promotors all over the world . He has played many international parties givig people his hard Techno fell. You name the place Armani has played there from Chicago to Japan.

Apparel Wax is back with the 9th gem of its catalogue, a stunning six track EP out worldwide on the 7th of June 2021. The vinyl faced hero always wants to grow, therefore is on a constant quest for the evolution of its music and this record proves it once again being it a superb array of assorted sounds. A1 kicks it off in style with its Chicagoan touch taking over after a smooth intro: the mellow pad chords laying down the foundation of the arrangement, the soft strings and the melodious piano notes make it a perfect start. A2 opens with a steady kick and a silky bassline murmuring throughout the whole track while some more keys create a Deep dynamic beat. To end side A here's A3 with its far-out, spacey atmosphere and its Deep chords backed by an energetic rhythm section. Side B of our vinyl is about class: B1 is a nothing short of chic with its sampled vocals and its elegant pads. B2 is more Deep with its evolving piano melody, its balanced and groovy drums and some masterly crafted tiny vocal samples. B3 wraps up the record with a Jungle beat sprinkled with Jazz, R&B and Soul. APLWAX009 is a tenacious and cohesive work, yet disseminated by inspirational and diverse sounds which will be Wax's touch forevermore. A perfect EP to start the warmest season with the hope of being able to enjoy the outdoors without restrictions.

Incredible, stone cold classic house music from the mighty Wayne Gardiner, a truly underrated producer whose output has remained evergreen over the decades and is definite deep house royalty. 'Moments In House' is from 1990, unbelievable really when you hear how fresh it sounds today. The clue is in the title, this is a killer version of Art Of Noise's seminal 'Moments In Love', a landmark record in itself. Gardiner pays tribute to the Art with his stripped, funky and driving use of their infamous pads and tones, a nod to the NYC / NJ clubs where records such as 'Moments In Love' would have been deemed the classics of the day. 'Just A Touch' is on the flip, a beautifully deep and bassline driven cut that evokes the spirit of Larry Heard, but doesn't borrow too heavily from him while carving out it's own late night sonic niche. One for the dancers and the lovers of the deepness. It's hard to top records like this, from the dawn of house music's golden age, innocent and uncomplicated yet oozing with soul and depth. There aren't many out there like Mr. Gardiner. Untampered with and re-presented in it's original 1990 form with original Strictly label artwork, you need this! Essential.

Matthew Herbert’s bumper year continues after the summer reissues of his seminal house albums Bodily Functions and Around The House and the impending new follow up album, the third in his domestic house series Musca (out 22nd Oct). Now as part of his label Accidental’s 21st Anniversary celebrations we are pleased to offer up ‘A Pair Of Remixes’ on 12” together for the first time that are fundamental for any house music lover.

Like any good party, there's an after-party. What, you didn't think we'd keep it going? C'mon.

We began this one with Jacques Renault's Sky Islands, a full-length album that sought to achieve euphoric disco delight within a wonky conceptual framework; it's his late-night live DJ sets in spirit, organized like a 70s or 80s vinyl megamix or public-access radio program, but comprised solely of a couple dozen originals he crafted in the studio, most of them being wrapped up during the summer and fall of last year.

Of course, we realized delivering such an experience, where no “song” is more than about 90 seconds, would do nothing for the working DJ, unless the working DJ is looking to nod off for thirty or take an extended bathroom break. Thus, Coast to Coast, a 12-inch that collects seven of the songs from the LP—in full- length, special-disco-mix, club-ready form.

This EP will be followed by more long-form cuts, as well as additional goodies. There will be an after-party for the after-party.

YOUNG MARCO himself found them at YOUTUBE, and the Japanese soundtrack Satoshi & Makoto, a twin Japanese duo who released an album from Safe Trip and collected high-rated stock sound sources recorded from the 90's. This time, solo first single by brother Satoshi appears. Like the album from Safe Trip, this is a work that mainly uses Casio's leading name synthesizer CZ-5000, which represents the 1980s, but it is a simple extension of Safe Trip's work. This is a collection of gems that are reminiscent of the early days of the House, which touches the shoreline, and it feels like an album with a single release

The summer of 2017 also brings Dark Leader 003 featuring Riga's Dmitry Distant and Portland's own Natural Magic. Side A begins with 'Tukšums' a driving acid jam by Dmitry Distant that brings the energy level up to 11. Natural Magic's 'Most High' polishes off side A with a triumphantly positive romp that puts the love icing right on the cake. Side B opens with 'Artificial Joy' a breaky acid track by Dmitry Distant that will engross the dance floor with groovy sinister funk. This release concludes with Natural Magic's 'Dude Can Dance' a drummy piece of hypnotic dance music that dabbles in experimentalism. DarkLeader 003 is housed in a full color jacket featuring cover artwork by Myra Koza, design by Eric Adrian Lee, and mastered by Timothy Stollenwerk.

We heard a snippet of a demo on Instagram a few months back and we loved it so much that we asked him to send us the track and the outcome is this amazing ep . the 4 tracks are all really great jams going from deepness to acid and soulful vibes keeping the Chicago house feel and the dance floor grooves with a really crisp and heavy sound.

KAI ALCE (NDATL) joins SANDMAN & RIVERSIDE (FAST FWD) on the SJU MUZIC 12″ “YOUR EYES". While the original is a cool laid back affair of heavy chord action & guitar, KAI’S remix adds uptempo club grooves with an infectious lead. The GU remix builds a potpourri of musical stylings only he can do!

Ark To Ashes label boss Shadi Megallaa got some down-time from his Dubai record shop, The Flip Side, to produce this EP. It features 2 original productions with one being a collaboration with fellow Egyptian & Dubai resident Omar Fayyad.

The remixes on the EP come courtesy of Rhauder with his signature subaquatic dub techno & another of Shadi’s friends, the prolific electro wizard Reedale Rise. Ark To Ashes has returned & it’s not looking back.

With a pioneering catalogue that boasts releases from artists such as Kenny Dope, Frankie Bones & Lennie Dee, Joey Negro and Joey Beltram, Nu Groove records was one of the key labels in establishing the NYC house sound. However, it was the brothers Rhano and Rheji Burrell who were by far the most prolific to release on Nu Groove. The Utopia Project is another alias from producer and creative genius Rheji, whose four track EP ‘Intuition’ makes the latest release on the revamped Nu Groove imprint. A sublime house package spread over four unique tracks, ‘Intuition’ kicks off with joyous, 1980s inspired ‘A Better Day’, followed by the slick groove of ‘You Don’t Know What To Do’. On the flip we’re greeted with the boogie-filled ‘With You (Anytime, Anyplace)’, before Rheji takes us underground for closing track ‘La La Land’, a guaranteed dancefloor mover. A masterclass in classic house from one of NYC’s most heralded names, ‘Intuition’ is another record collection essential from the Nu Groove camp.

From the driving ‘Some Sweet Ting’ to the collaboration with label honcho Volcov on the cut ‘Atmospheric Funk’ ‘till the late nite opus ‘Sounds of the Rebel’ this EP is 100% a boogie delite!

Celebrating a determined and ambitious 15 year tenure as Yorkshire’s chief bastion of deep house music, Hudd Traxx enlist a who’s who from their gilded halls to contribute tunes for a special anniversary release. Split across two vinyl parts and an expansive digital release, it’s a pretty prestigious occasion featuring dance music legends Nightmares On Wax & Jovonn, long term label stalwarts Iron Curtis & JT Donaldson, a guest appearance from Mark Hawkins (FKA Marquis Hawkes) and a track from label head Eddie Leader. Adding to the already weighty credentials are Agnès (releasing his first material since 2013), Berlin-via-Italy producer Black Loops.

On Part Two longstanding Hudd Traxx veteran JT Donaldson drops “What I Got” - twisting and contorting throughout its duration, a serpentine roller rich with block party flavour and the very essence of deep house coursing through its veins.

Dixon Avenue Basement Jams’ Mark Hawkins does some moonlighting under his newly deed-polled alias with the epically beautifully “Chasing Paper”. No royalty credits heading north of the border here, just swathes of satisfied revellers and euphoric dancefloors guaranteed upon delivery.

Meanwhile, another Hudd Traxx regular, Iron Curtis, pays tribute to one of the scene’s greatest on “Kerri On (Chandelier Dub)”. A red-lit nocturnal jam that Mr. Chandler himself has rubber stamped, its ever-growing bassline, soaring strings and delicately placed keys taking us towards a seriously blissful conclusion.

Concluding part 2 is a track by Agnès - founder of Sthlmaudio Recordings. The stylish Swiss keeps true to his remit – deep, dubby, transcendent grooves that sway lushly with the midnight air. “Embryonic Connections” taking us right back to the roots of that tribal beat and a fitting end to this mammoth release and a perfect lead up to his forthcoming Hudd EP.

4 tracks which perfectly instil why Hudd started this label of love 15 years ago; to showcase fierce, uncompromising dancefloor workouts in as sincere and stylish manner as possible. When was the last time you were Hearing Colours?

Long term music companions, and more importantly close friends, Felipe Valenzuela and Argenis Brito unite once more for their collaboration project - FAER, showcasing their timeless chemistry. This time the Berlin based duo have created an innovative four track EP, “The Fraud Era” and it is ready to see the light of day on the blossoming Hearing Colours label which is co-founded by Felipe himself, and Miami based Max Kraushaar.

Opener “Space Cuts” is a serious and gritty number, with real tenacity, hypnotic synths melt into the snappy and crisp broken drums. Squelchy acid bass leads you down a path of curiosity in “Trick Or Trick”, before being met with an intricate groove that enables you to release the tension. Two dancefloor dynamic tracks, both in their own right.

The B side showcases the more eclectic and complex side to the pair's productions. Mysterious tones and atmospheres continuously evolve in “Inmersion”, creating an otherworldly yet infectious mood. Mechanical whirrs and bleeps maneuver their way around a glitchy body in the final track, “Fraud Era”. Trippy and eccentric energy for the after party hours, intelligently arranged by two masters of their craft.

Housey Doingz was a sort of pre-millennial super crew of London producers and DJ's (Dave Coker, Dave Pine, Justin Bailey, Laurant Webb, Nathan Coles, Terry Francis), movers and shakers on the capital's tech-house scene. The latter half of the decade into the first half of the noughties belonged to the exciting future looking and stripped down sounds that were emanating from now cult labels like Wiggle, Swag, Surreal etc. The Housey Doingz crew were at the centre of this scene and sound, but 'Doing It' from 1997 and released on the Pagan label predates and showcases a plethora of sonic styles that later became synonymous with that scene. Borderline 'Progressive' numbers like this corking EP are real beauties and found themselves in the boxes of the top jocks of that world and more (see: Sasha, John Digweed & co). A beautifully diverse collection of cuts right here, and a very rare and sought after slab of wax among record collecting circles. For a real flavour of what was to come 'Doing It' is a dope look through the window of one of London's most exciting electronic music scenes.

SUZI is the new label from Cleveland, the Brussels-based artist behind releases on Kalahari Oyster Cult, ESP Institute and Hivern Discs. The label’s inaugural release unites contributions of 4 artists, with a common ground of techy, playfully modern-sounding tracks with a serious edge and a decent amount of bleeps.


The new label SANDER is presenting its debut on wax. The
record comes with two mixes of Seb Lorez who released his
album „Slide away“ in 2019. Both tracks are new
interpretations by the label owner Stephan Sander and

Vivod label boss Ali Renault serves up this rather moody ep in memory of his late friend, Pete Mangalore of Human Shield fame. The five tracker kicks off with Northdown Acid, a brooding sprawl with elements of Italo and acid combined to beautiful effect. The amusingly titled Imminent Salad follows with its jacking strut groove, laden with lush pads. Peter Summoning breaks up the ep with its simple ambient suggestion. On the flip things get going again with slo mo stomper Forbidden Mind before title track Nawce Blizzard closes with it’s electro style hypnosis. Finally we’re left with an infinite cat purring locked groove to send you to sleep. Great ep from start to finish. You could say we are excited about our new release here at Hizou Music. Very excited. Because with out heart and soul rooted in the heritage, history and tradition of house music we are especially proud to welcome two producers into the fold whose pedigrees match our vision perfectly, Chicago's very own Brian Harden and Ellery Cowles (aka Wavelength).

Aptly entitled The Collective, the EP features three cuts from Cowles and one from Harden. The former first came to the attention of dance music lovers via a slew of high-octane techno releases back in the nineties, notably for the Djax-Up-Beats imprint. Although having clearly mellowed since those early days, on the evidence of his trio here Cowles has lost nothing of his power and drive even if the emphasis has now shifted more to melody, mood and the funk. Fierce, sassy and outrageously uplifting is the only way to describe paean to 'my man', Joy Of My Life. The Power is similarly brash and bold though lyrically darker, whilst Jazz Juice is a fantastically punchy percussion-drive workout.

Harden, who grew up on a staple diet of jazz from the likes of Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock coupled with the sounds of the burgeoning house scene of his hometown during the mid-80s, did not cut his teeth on labels such as Relief Records, Moods & Grooves and Nite Life Collective for no reason. His contribution here, The Drive, shows us exactly why; infectious, groove-heavy, jazz-inspired house of the highest order.

A few years back, during one of his frequent visits to Cosmic Arts, Carlos excitedly brought to our attention a project that he was working on. Soon after our listening session, it was decided that we would assist him on his continued musical journey and now it’s finally here; Grace by the Carlos Sanchez Movement. Amongst other bad ass jams that are included on the EP, this dope release features the eagerly awaited composition “Wisdom” performed by the one and only Gregory Porter, and two other dope compositions Feat Ledisi and Kenny Lattimore. This is a dope ep that’s not to be missed.

Cutlass is on the flip, an absolute no-nonsense Dubstep wobbler in the finest modern style. Expect rewinds on this one. Our curtain call is with fellow Dubliner Sputnik One, as he remixes Step Mode in his exquisitely supple psychedelic sub-tech style.

Reworking a big tune is never a simple task, especially if after 7 years the tune in question is still one of the highlights in shows of one of the worlds most beloved live act performers, KiNK. That's only half of the story though, as the tune got a lot of love from so many DJ's all over the globe. However, for the 17th Burek release, we wanted to do something really special and what could be better than giving new life to a piece of music which literally gave life to our label. And we gathered some very interesting people for the job.A1 KiNK - Leko (Kink's Bass Shake Version) is a rework by none other thank KiNK himself. The original is a party monster as it is, so Strahil opted for an alternative approach that sheds an nteresting light on a familiar song. Huge resonating bassline A2. In 2013 KiNK had an successful E.P. with Rachel Row called Follow The Step which had a major impact on both of their careers. Later while touring with Rachel she had an idea to put some vocals on top of the first Leko track, which now turned into a completely different, slow track with the familiar piano melody. B1 KiNK - Leko (Session Victim Remix) is a wonderfully subdued take on the original. It keeps all the main elements we all know and love, and enriches them with a more percussive feel, well placed guitar licks and an overall easier mood. All that said, don't make a mistake with thinking this is something for the living room as this one's made for those special daytime/sunset/sunrise moments when a tune like this turns the situation into something everyone will take home with them.B2 KiNK - Leko (Original Version) is the tune, in all it's glory and attitude. Full-fledged peak time house track which turns every party into a steaming pit of bodies asking for more. Too hot to ignore.

Progetto Tribale was born in 1992. The A1 track: "Behavior", immediately reached great success in clubs. The project has continued for two more productions with UMM, to then change label and go on with D: Vision, until 1996, year of publication of the last production, volume 6. Today, 24 years later, Volume 7 was finally born under the partnership of Donato Dozzy, Pietro and Paolo Micioni. and released by Danza Tribale.

Having released the highly acclaimed ​Rivers/Tokyo ASMR on Crosstown Rebels last year, Berlin’s Emanuel Satie returns to the label this March with the powerful ​Personal Liberation EP, ​showcasing the deep and emotive characteristics that Emanuel brings to his accomplished productions.

Tribal-esque percussion leads the way in title track ​Personal Liberation,​ progressing with haunting synths, dramatic keys and a hypnotising vocal. A track that subtly builds throughout, ​Keys to Jupiter ​is a moody yet blissful cut of electronic excellence, enhanced with divine piano keys. Last up, ​Somewhere Else In Time is a trippy and robotic number with break-beat style percussion and stirring synths.

"I started to make the tracks before we knew what Corona even was, but they strangely forecasted the way I was going to feel during this year in lockdown. On the title track, Nanghiti’s vocals demand you to connect with who you really are, just like the pandemic and it’s isolation and lockdowns did, and celebrates that moment of triumph. Keys To Jupiter is a track I made with the Australian pianist Niko Haropoulos, trying to make a dancefloor track as least-dancefloor-sounding as possible and letting the world of classical piano collide with electronic sounds. 'Island Impressions' depicts the moments and visions of Australian house producer Sonny Ism's year living on an Island in Stockholms Archipelago during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Littered with Kitchy melancholic vocal house tracks to alternative ambient electronica, Island Impressions is a journey of movement and documented moodswings in the underground house music genre.

A few years back, during one of his frequent visits to Cosmic Arts, Carlos excitedly brought to our attention a project that he was working on. Soon after our listening session, it was decided that we would assist him on his continued musical journey and now it’s finally here; Grace by the Carlos Sanchez Movement. Amongst other bad ass jams that are included on the EP, this dope release features the eagerly awaited composition “Wisdom” performed by the one and only Gregory Porter, and two other dope compositions Feat Ledisi and Kenny Lattimore. This is a dope ep that’s not to be missed.

Detroit originator and Godfather of Techno Soul Eddie Fowlkes is back once again on his Detroit Wax label, this time via a two-tracker that acts as a timely reminder of his innate ability to conjure up thrilling dancefloor moments. The aptly named Esoteric Life EP features two devastatingly effective cuts, the likes of which celebrate Fowlkes’ famed penchant for ‘techno soul’ in some style. With both tracks made for peak-time floors, this is rough and ready stuff that’s sure to go down a treat with fans from both the techno and house divide.

Kicking off the release is the sounds of ‘Epsom’. By a distance the most outrageous track you’re likely to have encountered this side of the new year, it’s a thoroughly engaging, captivating and unpredictable techno workout that you’ll have encountered in some time. Contemporary but also rooted in Fowlkes’ classic style, this is electronic music of the sort that moves with a surefire swagger. Expect nothing but dancefloor pandemonium wherever this one is unleashed.

On the B side we say hello to ‘Mar Mar’, a cut that explores a different side of the producer’s production arsenal. Again, the emphasis here is on a banging aesthetic, but this time about it’s cut from a somewhat different cloth. A bumping track with a heavy emphasis on its unruly, snaking baseline, it’s another provocative number that’s sure to leave an impression. As ever with Eddie Fowlkes, both tracks here are masterfully curated — and most definitely made with the DJ in mind. All things told, this is top class fare from a man for whom we’ve come to expect exactly that.

The first and truly stunning release on the new Deeptrax sub-label Chasing Sunsets is one that is hard to describe...

As an (electronic) multi-instrumentalist, ES has been making music on a daily base for more than 25 years but has not released anything meaningful to this day. When we asked for some demos, we were literally bombarded with hundreds of well-produced songs in a wide variety of styles.

ES is a very creative artist who, in addition to making (video) art, creates his own world with his music. He is a musician with a completely unique sound that sometimes evokes a strong association with other music or artists. It sounds familiar and is pleasant to listen to because all the sounds seem to fall into place perfectly. But at the same time, it's totally fresh and sounds like nothing else.

“I just want to make music and not worry about the hassle; you just have to do it for me...” was the answer to the question if we could talk about releasing some music on one of our labels. "Just pick the songs you like, releasing my music on vinyl would be great ..."

So that's what we did...

This first EP gives a nice overview of some of the many musical sides of ES. It's jazzy, funky, dubby and trippy electronica with bits of ambient, house, breakbeat, acid and many other weird ES sound mix-ups. The tracks are as they are, all recorded in one take/version. Unique songs with sharply programmed rhythm and bass complemented by brilliantly played guitar, piano and synth parts. It's a surprising debut from an artist who only shows a small part of his personality with this release.
