With this current release, they take heed of a well known principle that has been brought upon us by the Hollywood film industry - any thrilling, perfectly executed and audience approved production needs to get a sequel - So, the curtain raises now for Operator II, a tune instantly reminiscent of its predecessor in beat architecture and kalimba arrangement, yet thought through with even more sophistication and sensitivity.

A Gardener's Perspective pursues that same kind of vibe, coming along with slight Electro-borrowings and cocooning synth-harmonies, climaxing in an masterly organ solo that has soul and devotion to sound written all over it.

Yet another tune that doesn't even have to conform with peaktime arithmetics to send whole floors into frenzy, no matter what time of the night it might be. Closing things off it's Casino Lunch Break, another strongly vibing and very tribal affair radiating afterhour qualities, ending another more than solid offering on Solide on a high note.

Following the acclaimed ‘I’m Not Defeated’, Bronx-born singer-songwriter Fiorious returns to Glitterbox for his latest release,

Fifty releases in the bag, WOLF Music come correct with a second drop in their 10th year release schedule from French wizard LB aka LABAT, as hotly anticipated as anything Palace could even begin to dream up.

‘Scanner’ opens the EP with LB bringing that trademark MPC crunched, sample-heavy style he’s become known for. Dusty jazz loops, distorted percussive hits and vocal cut ups, sounding like they’re straight outta forgotten VHS movies, are laid over the top of a monstrous bassline and emotive strings for a contorted house bomb.

Next up ‘Track One’ hits with some Theo Parrish inspired, full frontal synthwork as tight drums and an effect-laden melody are interjected with soulful vocal snippets and a fervent kick. A surefire dancefloor destroyer with a big bass breakdown for good measure.

Flip it over for a heads down, late-night ‘Dirty Walk’ with fizzing percussion blending behind sublime Rhodes, overdriven kick drums and that acid infused bass, ready set to be a club staple this year. ‘Shut The World Down For A Moment’ rounds things off, capturing the syncopated mind of LB with a half-time drum loop in the background, slightly off kilter, that he somehow just makes work into hazy jam.

Half century complete and kicking off the next with a bang from the man they call LB aka LABAT.

Midnight Special ride again with a new EP comprising 4 tracks of sample heavy house.

Midnight Special are Justin Drake, renowed Engineer formerly of seminal house duo Peace Division, and Kevin Griffiths, label head of Tsuba, Isle Of Jura and Love Creation.

Moff & Tarkin's second Lagaffe installment marks the label's 8th vinyl release. The release sports three original tracks from the Austrian-based Icelander and a remix from label boss Jonbjorn.

The record starts of with the track 'Buzz Lightyear', who flies us off out of the atmosphere filled beginning into the depths of the spacey synths, delays and feedback.

Followed is the track 'Friends Be like', which feels like a refreshing strut down the boulevard where everyone you meet knows you and you know them but instead of saying hello you are wearing headphones and just strut down the street nodding, winking and walking in beat with true swagger. A track with confidence written all over it.

The flip side features the track 'Takk!' which roughly translates as Thank You! in Icelandic. Maybe not roughly, but rather exactly. The track is dramatic and starts off rather stress inducing but takes a whole new direction when Moff n Tarkin adds in soothing piano chords and makes the track's whole mood switch.

Maybe its a fitting goodbye for the listener as you make your way through label boss Jonbjorn's remix which has a very warm and feel good atmosphere, lush drums and elements that add on layers to the already great original. A very personal remix and a good ending to a great record that we hope you can enjoy.

A new decade has arrived and with it the marble series on Church continues to flourish. Following on from the success of 'Where Do We Go From Here' on Craigie Knowes, No Moon brings us his 653 Miles EP packed with four stellar original cuts. The original leads the way with enchanting synth pads that swell around sparkling melodies that dance around a relaxing breaks groove.

'Wouldn't Have It Any Other Way' follows similar suit with gentle rolling drums alongside balearic chords and subtle yet punchy bass line. 'Dayz' ups the energy with acidic melodies and chiming ride hits that work effortlessly around a more house orientated percussive performance.

'Highland Spring' brings to a close this fine collection in a more minimalistic fashion dominated by reverb-soaked textures and muffled breaks.

Danny Berman aka Red Rack'em is back with 2 more burners on his much loved Bergerac label. After slaying everyone last year with Wonky Bassline Disco Banger and this years hotly tipped Self Portrait LP he's got his sights set firmly on the dancefloor once more.

2017 has been a vintage year for the Berlin based DJ producer with Radio 1 mixes, serious air miles, remixes for Tensnake, Tinie Tempah, shows for Rinse and after a hectic summer, it's time to focus on his own productions and get back to what he does best. Making slamming house cuts designed for maximum floor damage.

Place For Me (Version) is a cut up, pumping, soulful disco house slammer. Originally released in 2009, it's been updated and remastered and is another great example of Red Rack'ems ability to chop up vocal samples and make something fresh from them. Guaranteed club wrecker, which served as a pre-cursor to WBDB and thus needs to be out there once more.

Exhalt is a super deep, spiritual house number with vibes galore. Deep pads and crisp beats combine with deep bass in an ecstacy tinged, euphoric disco number. One for the heads....

Following Stil & Bense`s glorious debut release - Mr. Pink' on Perlekind Records in 2016 - it came with great pleasure for the label makers Romeofoxtrott to team up & compose this fine 4-track split EP. - Bergauf / Bergab' kicks off with 2 deep, melodic and playful original tracks joined by 2 drivingly blasting remixes - indeed will be available in digital and vinyl.

Former owner of Berlin’s Bass Cadet Records and part of Arcarsenal duo, Solune, joins ANMA with a number of tribal-influenced spiritual tracks.

‘Ceremony’ rolls out the swinging percussion and hi-hats that swoop and sweep across the track. The sub-heavy bass rumbles and adds to the bounce of the track filling in the gaps between the percussion and drums, while crescendo-ing keys add to the flow of the song that quickly create a spiritual vibe that goes well along with the vocal, and bird song, samples; comparable to that of a drum ceremony in the middle of a jungle.

The follow-up track, ‘Colibri In The Urban Zone’, extends on the same musical philosophy by speeding up the pace of the drums and delving deeper into a moody-ier, pad-inflicted, rhythm which is topped off by Rhodes improvisation helping to create a churchly celebratory state of mind.
On the flipside, ‘Colibri In the Sacred Mountain’, drops off the drums entirely and focuses on fusing industrial soundscapes with traditional flute and synthesizers to develop and ever evolving arpeggio embracing rhythm.

The release is rounded up by Detroits’ own Patrice Scott, who brings up his identifying sound in the process of remixing ‘Colibri’. The faster tempo, minimal-electronic percussion and floating keys bump up the release into a different dimension. Main melodic theme of the original version are led by the keys while arpeggio synths reference back to the original while maintain a different pace and adding to the colour of the record as a whole.

Hot on the heels of his archival-launch of European Carryall, Telephones delivers a brand new (or is it really?) heavy double A-side club 12". Kicking off with "Multiverse (Pacific Mix)", an energetic basement-flux of UK garage, detroit techno and balearic blessed with live zither-recordings and stardust-sprinkles by fellow countrywoman A'KARI - ensuring the zen of your late-nite spaceout. Flip wax for the the prime-time house-stomper "Turbofutúr (Atlantic Mix)", nodding it's head to the mid-90s footprint left by DJ Duke, Power Music and Strictly Rhythm.. albeit with an unmistakably Norwegian euphoric disco-fling lurking beeeehind the groove. Another essential for the true heads!

Limited Series 06 drops on Banoffee Pies Records. This time with some saucy Pink legs showcasing a predominantly Bristol based representative of Leftfield House and UK inspired productions from Jazz to Electro and 2 step.
Gallegos' 'Save Your Love For Me' quickly engages your focus with melody rich tones and enticing vocals pushing on to an interestingly themed A side with the electro infused 'Hanging Gardens' from local Seka, and the complex drum patterns of 2 step themed 'Dreams' from Jay Anderson, another artist to recently join the labels affiliates with an appearance on the second Banoffee Pies Black Label imprint.
The B side is pleasantly introduced by a more head nodding groove full of pads from Owain K with 'Touched ', and as with many of it's predecessors, this Limited Series installation is rounded off with a Beat and a mood from a smoky lounge this time from Embezzlement Society. Another record with diverse uses for the DJ and listener. Music for prancing, love and dancing. Banoffee x

Attempt to find a convenient musical pigeon-hole for Zapatilla and you'll find him slipping from your grasp and zig-zagging in unexpected yet compelling directions. His transcendent debut EP comprises two ambitious, shapeshifting tracks. Initially, opener Crumbling Down suggests a dance-floor focused blueprint, before its arrangement of percussion and classical instruments come into focus around the 3 minute mark, the result is a steadfastly organic and emotional opus. Its sister track Thumb Piano is a more abstract affair, with its eclectic instrumentation anchored to a palette of synths and electronica.

Afrikan Sciences hold time in one hand and space in the other. This is his first offering for the ESP Institute. Side A’s 'Have It Tall' boasts the characteristics of an improvised jam session. Tipped-off in a theme of rapid-fire percussion and an innocent chord progression, each instrument ventures into its own loosely carved space, allowing squelching sporatic bursts of bassline, rhodes piano twinkles and a frenetic funky drummer pattern that haphazardly cuts in and out, to coexist without ever stepping on one another’s toes. The production is simultaneously aggressive and mesmerizing, bright cracking punctuations alternate with a fat rolling bottom end, all elements dry and present. On side B’s 'Daily Gates', things are a little slower to get rolling. Currents of swirling synth chords carry over from the previous side, but here we’re dragged across a long and thumping upright bass intro. The fabric of instrumentation casually weaves itself over a 5 minutes of liberally syncopated rimshots, hi-hats and snaps, before a guitar interjects with a triumphant and otherworldly melody, a brief shot of glowing optimism before returning us to a heavy cosmic slop. These two songs have built the end into the beginning.

Fuse London have cemented their place in the worldwide underground with an unwavering belief in the DJ and production talents of an extended network of friends and they once again hit gold with Antony Difrancesco and Samuel Bellis dB Productions EP - 87-88 kicks things off with a distinctly Fuse-esque sound, a hazy tripped out groove and spoken female vocal ride a raw jungle tinged b-line.
One Way To Pluto is the EPs vinyl only track and keeps things deep but no less driving whilst Adderall adds an almost techno sensibility in its quirkier elements.
To round the EP off label head Enzo Siragusa once again joins forces with Alexkid under their Kilimanjaro guise to provide a sleek dub interpretation of 87-88

Bartellow has long been associated with the ESP Institute though Tambien, a trio formed alongside Bavarian cohorts Marvin and Valentino, who have released seminal dancefloor material over recent years. With his debut album Panokorama, we are invited into a completely different world of Bartellow's creation—a place where influences become a melting pot of mood, nuance and texture, and where instrumentation is abstracted from a variety of cultures, including those that exist solely within his imagination. Bartellow has found a way to merge Primitivism with Retrofuturism, identifying their point of intersection and reveling in their union across ten songs. While his academic background as a Jazz musician certainly informs both his progressive approach to composition and non-linear production, it is his obsession with electronics and synthesis that shape his current musical climate. The title Panokorama stems from Bartellow's visualization of the album, a surreal landscape with a foreign presence centrally embedded, a 'panorama' punctuated by a 'ko'—although a hybrid word that reads as nonsense, it somehow feels and sounds just right.

Contours, a UK based DJ and producer, known for bubbling dance rhythms and undertone melodies focuses on a wide range of organic percussion on this 4 track EP.

A1 opens up with its most prominent instrument, the balafon, creating a hypnotic vibe in which keys and broken beat intertwine creating a swinging rhythm. The second track, Batterie, slows down the groove and allows plenty of space for the keys to lay over the depth of bass-heavy drum pattern.

The flip side of the record pitches up the tempo and sees layers of Latin infused rhythms mix with London scene defining broken beat riffs, synths and melodies. The record finishes up with a remix from one of the London underground scene’s key contemporary figures, K15, adding a darker tone to the flow of the track while upping the dancefloor energy of the groove.

A monumental Ibizan anthem and one of the biggest releases on Hot Creations to date, Back & Forth is the next collaboration from the indomitable duo of DJ Sneak and Jesse Perez. The release also features vocals from KE with colossal remixes from the mighty Ricardo Villalobos and rising talent DJ Lukke.

Back & Forth is a number reminiscent of the 90s with its broken drum beat and spoken word lyrics. Speaking of the release, Sneak himself says that he wanted to create 'a street smart dance floor track with powerful latino sounds and all the right ingredients for a club banger'.

Young Brazilian talent DJ Lukke is first to remix, co-produced alongside Blakkat aka Mark Bell, he adds a percussive tribal twist and rumbling bassline. Ricardo Villalobos takes his version to a whole new dimension like only he can, with weird and wonderful soundscapes enhanced by glitchy, distorted vocal hooks. A video of the Chilean maestro playing the original recently went viral, building further hype around the release.

House gangster DJ Sneak has been at the forefront of dance music since the early 90s. He's had records signed to highly esteemed labels including Classic, Snatch! and Magnetic, as well as running his own influential imprint I'm A House Gangster. Miami playboy and Mr Nice Guy Records boss Jesse Perez has released an abundance of music on labels like Edible, Toolroom, BPitch Control and Do Not Sleep. Ricardo Villalobos needs little introduction. A firm favourite amongst DJs and club-goers alike, his career has seen him play countless notorious parties and festivals, with prolific productions seen on seminal labels including Perlon, Dekmantel and Mosaic.

As we descend into winter and the end of 2019, an EP that, like the shorter, overcast days, is chilly and stark, yet accented with rays of sun that crack through the clouds, glints of starlight, full-moon rises.

These five tracks—six for the digital version—come from Eluize, a Berlin-based Australian gifted at simmering minimal yet acerbic house potions over low heat, patiently coaxing them to a slow boil. Mischievous, creeping concoctions that approach and build sneakily, as layer upon layer is looped, expanded, condensed, dropped out, and slid back in. Each is a beautifully musical piece, too, with as much evolving melody as hypnotizing groove.

An LPH soundtrack for nights that stretch on forever, lit only by blinking lights that break apart seas of heavy fog and slice between silhouetted bodies.

Re-issue from Italian house instigator Enrico Mantini which is going to set another mark in his discography. 4 of Mantini's best tracks from years 2012 - 2014 personally chosen by the artist from Mantini's very own label Down Da Mountains.

Rekids offshoot Stranger in The Night welcomes renowned underground mainstay Fred P for an incredible release complete with his signature depth.

Fred P ended 2019 under his Black Jazz Consortium alias with an album full of the lush musicality and worldly deep house grooves he’s known best for. His own name is reserved for more driving, club focused sounds, however, and in the past, he’s released on Secretsundaze, Finale Sessions, Mule Musiq, his now defunct Soul People imprint, not to mention his more recently minted Perpetual Sound. Few can nail a groove as heavy and hypnotic as this Berlin-based New Yorker, and the four tracks here highlight that once more.

'Turn Up' is built on immovable kick drums that roll and roll beneath a dark nebula of synths and pads. There is the atmospheric feel of factory floor automation in the groove and it never lets up. The lush 'Alphabet City' is less heavy, with more bright and cosmic pads lighting up a track that is airy and filled with a subtle sense of funk. 'Construction' takes things late into the night once more, with an edgy lead that is unsettling and paranoid as it pans about over a rooted kick drum that will lock the floor into a state of hypnosis. 'For The Dome' closes this fantastically compelling release with jittery, percussive drums that are softened by celestial synth work. In harmony, they make for perfectly escapist listening.

This is irresistible dance floor dynamite for those who like it deep.

Inviting slow disco and spaced out ambient characterizes this new material from Golden Bug and In Fields on their collaboration-album ”Vibration Métallique”. Golden Bugs kind of extrovert and electronic sound is recognizable from his previous 7” release on Höga Nord Rekords and together with In Fields it gets dressed in a fluffier costume.

This album is the result of two persons with tons of respect for one another musically, two musicians who have been floating past and sometimes in two each others projects for the last couple of years. Their musical roots In ”Leftfield land” intertwine and reaches up above ground, connecting to different musical stems and holds together the sound; like sightseeing in a familiar town this album has outer limits but as unpredictable as the city can be, this record surprises you from one track to the other.

The album has a springtime feel to it in all it's brightness, but suddenly it shifts shape in a song like ”Lush”, picked straight from the factory floor. This album is both a standoff and a board meeting in electronic music. Golden Bugs metallic excentricity meeting with In Fields darkness and live feel creates an unpredictability and the music goes on an exploratory trip far away!

King Street Sounds has reached its Silver Anniversary and in celebration of twenty-five years of iconic house music we’re dropping Volume 3 of our special edition vinyl release of “25 Years of Paradise.”

This incredible record boasts the mighty Solomun’s dub mix of Tiger Stripe’s iconic single “Voyage” as well as the funky and percussive ‘Drum & Bass Raw Shit’ of Kerri Chandler’s classic “Come Home.”

Inspired by his trip to London last year and a visit to the Bugz In The Attic studio, Kid steps up his game with a Broken Beat banger. A chopped up Jazz Funk breakbeat with a heavy Moog bassline lick and some keyboard action. This Bruk tune will definitely get the dancefloor moving.

B1 Left-Right-Dub
Soulful House action! Originaly released on his LP The Padded Room as “Heroes“ with vocals from Atlanta’s The Dangerfeel Newbies, Kid remixes this tune in a
stripped down Dub version. Smooth and Deep dancefloor vibes.

A stripped down minimal Future Funk groove with a Seinfield-esque slap bassline and a spaced out sample. The MPC runs steady here for the deejays and the dancers!

For our 4th release we welcome Romanian artist Mihigh.

Romanian raised Paco Wegmann and French artist Sirus Hood collaborate to unleash the high-octane Rip Tide, featuring their inspirations of the seminal Chicago House movement, released on Hot Creations this January.

Rip Tide launches into a jackin bassline, a frenzied vocal sample drops into an addictive loop interjected with rolling claps and classic rave-soaked synth that doesn’t let you catch your breath. On Rush Hour the intensity continues, sumptuous sub-bass combines with an unfurling arrangement of hi-hats and tightly executed synth that will release endorphins on the dance floor.

Romanian newcomer Paco Wegmann’s sound is based on a solid diet of 909, Chicago and Detroit records. Already with releases on Hottrax, Elrow, Viva Music, Kwench, Savor to name a few, expect plenty more to come from this talented producer who sees electronic music as a culture rather than a trend. Sirus Hood started his DJ career at the age of 18, becoming a regular DJ at the best Parisian clubs.

A self-taught producer, his music was initially picked up by the likes of Amine Edge & DANCE’s CUFF and Claude VonStroke’s Dirtybird. Following DJ residencies at Sankeys Ibiza, Eden Ibiza, Ministry of Sound London and both Social Club and Showcase in Paris, his talents were fully displayed to audiences across the globe.

Today he continues to spend countless hours in the studio and his diverse range of music can be found on Rawthentic, Cajual, Sola, Wow! And Under No Illusion.

Further excursions of one of the most dedicated producers of Vancouver in the early 90s: Pilgrims Of The Mind. Three tracks coming out of the sweet sonic brew that was cooking on the West Coast at the time: elements of techno, ethno, downtempo and general smoked-out trippyness abound.

Rune's ever dependable Drum Island return for a new decade with a life-affirming celebration of the sunset moments which underpin his always excellent output.
Hierbas has been causing euphoric dancefloor moments for a handful of selectors for over a year, but it's now - as the nights bristle with cold air - that we receive this warming hug of a track, a brief window into the promise of summer, the freedom of letting loose outdoors, and then basking in the glow of love with the celebratory chug of 'Mina Musica' and transcendent 'San Augustin'

A spiritual successor to our last Sleazy McQueen 12", Daikaya is a slab of buttery, slow-burn disco that coats the dance floor in molasses, making the party move with a certain sensuality.

The four-track vinyl EP includes three originals, all by Sleazy McQueen and Terry Grant, and one remix, courtesy of Versatile chief, Gilb’R, who turns the title track inside out and gives it a creeping, alien presence while not letting go of its starry-eyed, luscious warmth. For the digital edition, a second version, stripped down and dubby, is tacked on as a bonus.

Tessellate's final EP of the year comes from T. Jacques, who off the back of releases on DJ Steaw's House Puff and his own Nuances De Nuit comes through for the fifth release on the London label.

Featuring 2 Originals & 3 Remixes, the packed record covers a broad range of musical styles. For the Track 'Les Bois' by T. Jacques, takes channels the super fun 90's fueled Tech House inspired revival coming through at the moment to create a driving house track. Katsu runs in a similar vein however with more of an electro influence.

For the remixes Bade Record's Tape Fear give us a completely different take on the title track, bringing in their signature breaks sound for a heavy rework. Samo, affilaited with the hotly tipped Squeeze The Lemon, provide a weird and wonderul version of the original.

The 13th release on GIANT is a various artists EP – this is VOL 1 and VOL 2 will follow later in the year. This EP features tracks from three exceptional new breed producers and one band who have been making waves for well over ten years now. This release joins up artists from across Europe and Russia. First up is CLAUDIO IACONO who hails from Italy. Then its PYSH who is from Poland followed by Russia’s ANTON LANSKI then last but no way least is Bulgaria’s ABYFACECLAN – The four tracks range from after hours deep techno to sublime deep house and BABYFACECLAN’S track has an Andy Weatherall flavour to it. Only 300 pressed.

This (insert month) FUSE London's sister label, Infuse, returns with the seventh installment of the series with three superior house deviations from Wigbert, Motif and Pelle & Roon aimed squarely at those in the know.

First up is Wigbert and his track 'Bongo Bongo' lives up to its name as it is a percussive journey through various rhythms. Next up is Motif who delivers the excellent rolling house number 'Inner' which features a dubby bass line, with an intermittent wailing vocal and perfectly executed stabs. 'Gida' by Pelle & Roon rounds off the EP in fine style. It is another low-slung house number characterized by deep bass and warm chords washing against more mechanical sounds.

This seventh installment is another sterling addition to the famed Infuse series. All the artists on offer here showcase their distinct sounds and styles and despite effortlessly slotting into that loved Infuse sound, their differing personalities shine through. Essential.

London duo Wax On Mare St. debut on Infuse this November with their ‘Perceptions’ EP, backed by a remix from Mennie. Formed in 2015 by London-based duo James Puentes and Jordan Mina (MIINA), the Wax On Mare St. guise has quickly become a rising name of note within the city’s ever-evolving house scene, with releases to date on imprints including Blind Vision, Roush and most recently, E1even Records, appearances across the likes of fabric, Studio9294 and Eastern Electrics, and a monthly slot on East London’s Netil Radio. Following on from a busy summer of gigs, mid-November welcomes a debut on FUSE sister imprint Infuse as the duo touch down on the label with Italian talent Mennie also stepping up on remix duties for his first appearance on the label. The bubbling ‘Round Up’ kicks things off as the duo combine rich chords alongside low-slung bass patterns, hooky vocal samples and slick hats, whilst ‘Pepper & Spice’ lays the focus on skipping percussion and hazy synths throughout. Especial is delighted to welcome Alphonse back to the label for a third EP to again show his deep knowledge of the past to make a future. After the debut dub-breaks-poem of Same For Me and success of his warrior afro-dance Smokey 12", Alphonse made new friends with acclaimed releases for Klasse Wrecks, Hypercolour and Black Orpheus, before here returning like a chosen one with four sun kissed blessings.

Before the fields of Letchlade, hills of Castlemorton or beaches of Skegness had witnessed Alphonse exploring the sounds of many a free party sunrise, summers were misspent travelling the "disco" buses of Europe, tripping the light fantastic from Spook to Amnesia, Disco Piu to Euritimia.

The music, shared experiences and inclusion all led to an acute understanding apparent in his production skills. Ambient dreamscapes, warm bass lines, 808 breaks, 909 kick, piano, flute and horn melodies atop all lift to the heavens. In Moan Up and White Pepper Alphonse takes, reshapes, rebuilds and rewrites to create anew, expanding minds and hearts like never before.

Long stories, short stores, a nod and wink, at its heart Stolen Sunrise is an EP of wonderful expression, a producer peaking, providing a soundtrack to share for those that look to the future horizons with love.

The Edit Service is back and for the first time in album format (2 x LP): "Special Delivery Vol. 4 - A Collection of Dysfunctional Edits by CV" contains 8 tracks spread over two records: long edits, reworks or even remixes made from obscure music by the enigmatic CV (it shouldn't be too hard for people to figure out who is behind it).

ARMAZEM opens the record. One of the most dancefloor-friendly cuts on the LP, from a post-industrial and nearly trancey tune from Brazil.

CANAILLE BLEU comes from a mid-80s French film which soundtrack was never released. The edit uses the dialog from the film and live instruments. The result is a cinematic and dubby number with Gallic tendencies.

FISH LIQUOR is an edit of a German synth wave tune from a limited run cassette released in the 80's, extended and tailored for the dancefloor.

On PIECES OF A SULTAN, the raw material comes from a highly popular rock band of the 70's. New instruments were added and the producer takes the tune in a krautrock, almost experimental direction.

PORTE DORÉE is another tune on this release with French vocals. The original comes from a rare and cult post-hippy art rock record from the late 70's, condensed into a downtempo yet dancefloor edit.

With RACINES INCERTAINES, the producer slowed down a disco funk tune from the late 70s, then recreated it from scratch, giving a cosmic dimension to this groovy number.

SHIP FROM RIMINI is the remix of a vocal italo tune from the early 80s. It has all the hallmarks of a classic of the genre, yet there is something about both its groove and melodies that stands out.

Finally, SPANISH CODEINE is an Iberian Eurodance record played at the wrong speed, to which elements were added in order to create an edit that goes to completely new directions. Single pressing limited to 500 copies.

After the ‘Eterna Procrastinacion’ EP from Michelle and Muten, UK’s OPIA turns our heads towards another fine cut, this time calling on Nemo Vachez, and Two Phase U.

Recent times see French artist Nemo come in to his own, and here is no exception. Kicking off proceedings with ‘Autopillot’, seducing you with spaced out rhythms, and a bouncing organ complimenting the low end. ‘Love From Jupiter’ does not wait to deliver mysterious tones, and stirring drums, being lead to the unknown before the acid lift off.

Two Phase U keep the momentum going after his release on Andrew James Gustav’s, Marginal Returns earlier this year. Electro freaking in ’Time is Like Sand Through Your Fingers’, progressing naturally setting an atmospheric mood on any dance floor with its broken sound. Chunky driven slabs take the lead in ‘Yolocreo’, warping you one last time in to the OPIA whirlwind.

Curious sounds as always from the ever growing imprint, showing no signs of stopping any time soon.
