House Vinyl New Releases - News

First vinyl release from Quasar on his own Quasar White hand-stamped records series. First side has happy and party oriented vibes, while the second leaves to a deep and introspecrive relaxing atmosphere.

In his restless quest for the funk, Sex Judas invites 6 funkateers from the Norwegian underground + partner in crime, Ricky to remix some golden oldies. The mixes on display are full of the vigilante attitude flowing thru the current northern scene, where dirt and funk still is the Modus Operandi. Tracks are taken from the trilogy of EP's released on Tim Paris' Marketing label between 2011-2015 and serves as a warm up to the Sex Judas album coming this winter!

All Day I Dream returns for another Summer Sampler with seasonal tunes from the likes of Jonas Rathsman, Sébastien Léger, Volen Sentir, Leo Grünnbaum, YokoO, and more. Wonderous pads, delicate percussion, and soft voicings cohesively blend the 9-track compilation into a spectacle of aural bliss, weaving between dancefloor friendly and the more sonically relaxing tracks under ADID's signature modus operandi.
Facundo Mohrr & Valdovinos' 'November,' kicks off the release with an effortless gliding bassline, soothing mallet melodies, and subtle Marlena Shaw vocal chops, conjuring graceful imagery like leaves falling in Autumn woods.Throughout the compilation are a number of darker peak-time tunes like Jonas Rathsman's 'Nazca', Leo Grünnbaum's 'Beast In The Dark', and Sébastien Léger's 'Blowfish'. Whether it's the psychedelic plumage on YokoO's Soft Retouch of Life Less Ordinary's 'Moments,' the warm vibraphone pluckings on Jamie Stevens & Joe Miller's 'Wanderjahr,' or the exotic drum work on Rowee's 'Butterflies,' the Summer Sampler is a compelling and well-rounded compilation that showcases All Day I Dream's mood-transcending flairs.

The third outing on Øyvind's private Moonlighting label.

The long time Oslo DJ and producer unveils some deep, late night house sounds from the frozen North.
Ice cold synths, stuttering drum machines and melodic motifs grace this 12", all lovingly collaged and channelled through Morken's own unique style and sound. 2 tracks of hardware laced expressionism recorded in Oslo at his home studio and spread across a side each on a super nice 12" pressing. For the uninitiated, Morken has long been a representative of Norway's dance music underground and his reputation as Jaegers weekly resident DJ in Oslo has earned him worldwide respect where he has booked Theo Parrish, Levon Vincent, Mark E, Beautiful Swimmers, Mark Seven, Ron Morelli, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Hunee, Floating Points & loads more! With very tight links with Sex Tags, Todd Terje and Prins Thomas and with releases on Olsen, LIES, Full Pupp & Mysticisms, Øyvind is a very busy man! Moonlighting is his own personal label platform and venture where he releases his own music and ideas. The previous 2 releases on the label disappeared in record time (no pun intended!) and are feverishly sought after by those who snoozed! Quality Norsk vibes on this one, sure to find a home in the most discerning DJ's bags. Super limited pressing on this one - 300 for the world and that's that.

The third release for Planet Euphorique comes from none other than D. Tiffany herself, delivering four tracks of delicate yet driving, emotional anthems for prime-time dance floor bliss. 'Feel U' shows spacial finesse and rhythmic maturity, rumbling robotic basslines elevate the undeniable euphoria supplied by glowing pads and fleeting vocal earworms. Whilst the EP is diverse in mood and colour, that undeniable D. Tiff steeze is laced through from start to finish, resulting in a crucial record suitable for the club, after party or the next morning.

Eric Maltz Had A Busy 2018 With The Release Of The First Two Records On His Label Flower Myth, The Frenetic Pathway Ep And The Dub-techno Informed Estuaries Ep. 2019 Is Gearing Up To Be Just As Busy And Kicks Off With 'dream Journal', Two Long Form Cuts For Deep Dancefloors.

A Side 'dream Journal' Is One For The Rem Cycles. A Development Of Maltz' Signature Psychedelic Deep House Sound, Dub Sound Effects Jump In And Out Of Focus, Swirling Arpeggios Pan Across The Stereo Field And A Playful Piano Solo Take Turns At The Center Of The Stage As A Deep Bass Line And Funk-ready Drum Machine Hold The Fort.

On The Flip, 'subliminal Virgo' Is Exactly That, Hitting With A Loose Breakbeat And Echoes Of "dream Journal" Before Settling Into An Unstoppably Subby 4x4 Throb. A Synth Solo Hides Deep Under The Layers As Maltz Adventures Into The Dark Chasms Of Thought Gaps

After a flury of Wilson Limited Releases, Wilson Records Honcho, Fabio Monesi storms back on his beloved project with 'Say Wot!' EP! While the latest releases have been inspired by the infectious ferocity of earlier Chicago house records, 'Say Wot!' splits off in another direction entirely. Working in elements of the classic sounds that msde the french-house anthems dominate the air waves for so long, its shaping up to be a real head-spinner in the club. 'Asap900', the B-side of the record, brings us back to the golden era of the wareshouse-raves. A straight up, no holds barred kick drum-driven rythm-machine.
Mastered at Reel Mastering, London

This record comes with a version for every time and mood of a club night: Jo Pariotas Cut of the Original Mix is the ideal warm up tune. Flowing on a synthline that calls Mike Huckabys Waldorf to mind, it is sweet and driving at the same time. The Original Mix by LOVEiTs own Nico Brun might be called - Casual Affair', but comes rolling on a phat wonky rhode that brings the groove! Between the crunchy drums, a relaxed vocal snipped and warm synth unfold like the first rays of sunlight. The JK & LDS reduction is punchy, minimal and dubby - with its pull and release kind of melody and the stuttered vocal sample it works perfect as a peak time DJ tool. Finally, the A.S.S. Amnesia returns Mix is something else entirely... you just have to experience it in its full 8 min breakbeat Aphex Twin-like glory.

Pale Blue, the duo of Elizabeth Wight and Mike Simonetti, released their debut album too much critical acclaim back in 2015. They come together once again with their latest EP You Stopped Dying due to drop on Crosstown Rebels in February.

'The 'You Stopped Dying' EP takes influence from shoegaze groups like Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine and moves it to the dance floor.... The result is a strange hybrid that some have called 'technogaze'.... This would never work if Liz wasn't such a strong vocalist. Her amazing vocal range makes it easy.' Mike Simonetti

Pale Blue is a hypnotic affair, the driving bass sitting perfectly under Wight's powerful yet ethereal vocals. Daughter of Babylon takes the record into heavier techno territory with its thudding bass and Wight's breathy vocals delicately layered over the top. On the flip side Love is an unapologetically industrial number with screeching synths that echo around Wight's vocals.

Simonetti and Wight have each earned their musical stripes in their own rights. Simonetti founded the hugely popular Italians Do It Better as well as his own successful record label, 2MR. He's released a slew of records on highly regarded imprints such as Me Me Me, Correspondant and Public Release, and enjoys a fruitful career as a touring DJ, which shows no sign of abating. Wight has previously lent her exhilarating vocals to the West Coast band, Silver Hands of which she was once one half.

2017 remaster, original from tape and oversee by the autheur pepe bradock himself.in original art! already a modern classic and two of the most sought after pepe bradock tracks one one classique EP.

Many moons and stars have passed since VisionQuest co-founder Ryan Crosson last took to the controls on his own label for a full solo trip... 'I Hope You Will', his first EP on the label since 2015's 'On The Rise'

We'd say he was making up for lost time. Except the time was never lost in the first place. Ryan's renowned for his creatively prolific output as a DJ and producer. Continually touring and working under a variety of aliases and collaborations, and releasing on the likes of Leftroom, Nervmusic and Number 19, Ryan refuses to sit still.... Just like his music. Forever in momentum and progression.

This EP sums up where he's at and where we can potentially be. Molten grooves with open dynamic agendas where anything can happen. Each track a transition from one place to another as Crosson introduces different elements, tones and grooves.

'ITYC' writhes with that sexy Detroit lucidity that makes eight minutes feel like 20 seconds thanks to its strong physical hypnosis, 'Janet' plays the ultimate switch up as we're suddenly jacked from heads down tunnelling foggy, grainy techno to deep breathing, rolling house music at the flick of a snare while 'Favogo' provides the final bubbling adieu. Primed with drums so smooth and liquified they're almost silky, iced with lingering melodic elements so atmospheric they feel like vapours, it's the perfect way to bring another stark, singular and personal EP to a conclusion. Rest assured he'll be back again. Who knows how many moons will pass meanwhile...

We present you the third release in our very successful collaboration series with "Roar Groove" and "The Revenge'.
Straight after his new brilliant album "When the Thrill Comes" that was release in May this year Graeme Clark is back
on Dirt Crew with four new gems.

The opening, funky and twisting, "Times Get Tough" is a deep rolling down tempo Disco/ House stomper that builds into this
ecstatic groove we got to love so much from his previous outings. Pure good times and hands in the air action promised on this one!
"Subconcious" is that darker and meaner side of House track with a slammin' Chicago beat he delivers this old school jackin' feel.
Big bass lines and soulful vocal samples tied together by "on the fly" drum patterns.

The B-side of this new EP opens with an hypnotic jam that builds and builds till those sweet synths start soaring in.
All carried by this ultra phat bass line, we can only imagine how this one will sound on a massive sound system!
"Searchlight" is def a highlight of this release. Can we go even deeper and darker oh yes! With "Come Down" we get
a proper come down to close this EP. Deep sub basses with floating tops and again that classic Jack House beat.
Certainly a late night track made for those sweaty and long dj sets.

Summer is here and "The Revenge" has the perfect soundtrack for hot and steamy nights, inside or on the open field!

Alicia Myers is in peak form on a new release from Most Excellent Unlimited and Ace Beat, 'Right Here Right Now (Hallelujah Anyway).' Originally issued as a digital-only single by Ace Beat in 2015, this collaboration between the New Jersey house label whose early '90s releases are still considered gospel house masterpieces and MEU marks the first time the track will see vinyl release. Making its debut are Danny Krivit's edit of the original Derrick Ricky Nelson mix and an exciting remix from Ricky, the song's composer, and Danny, who championed the song from its first appearance and has featured it ever since in his sets. The connection between Alicia Myers and Danny Krivit goes back much farther than most people know. In fact, her breakout 1981 single 'I Want To Thank You,' among the most beloved dance music classics of all time, was initially broken by Danny when he played the promo at the Paradise Garage, catching Larry Levan's ear. When influential radio DJ Frankie Crocker subsequently heard it featured in Levan's sets, he immediately programmed it on WBLS, New York's premier Black FM station, and the song's legacy was assured. Much like 'I Want To Thank You,' 'Right Here Right Now' perfectly blends an inspiring, gospel lyric with an impassioned, soulful vocal performance and club-ready instrumental backing featuring a muscular piano hook. The uplifting sentiment has already proven its power to elevate and unite dance floors in the communal expressions of joy that are central to the most soulful dance experiences and the time is right to spread the feeling !This exclusive release will be showcased on twelve-inch vinyl with a precise replication of the classic '90s Ace Beat label.

Sheffield newcomer Atdhe impressed with his soulful Remix of Kamal Imani's 'Cosmic Being' on recent Monologues Records release 'Dialogue Vol. 2'. 'Can I Borrow A Feeling' is a classy, stripped-back slab of piano-driven deep house that has a surprisingly big impact on the dancefloor, 'Earl St. Groove' is atmospheric and chugging with more warm melody abounding, and 'Niche Dreams' rounds off with a hazy low-slung groover. Label boss Ben Gomori injects 'Earl St Groove' with a galloping tribal rhythm on his remix, honing in on some of those tasty melodies.

Khalab's 'Album of The Year' has been re-worked!

Ahead of a full remix LP (Summer 2019) On the Corner have opened the vault on 2019 hitters.
This 12' scorches the terrain built by 'Black Noise 2084'.
Hieroglyphic Being dominates the dancefloor with his 10 min sweater.
Afrikan Sciences launch off from Khalab's afrocentric soundscapes into a futuristic cosmos.
Blood, Wine or Honey strip it back, break it down and leave bassments trembling with the
weighty jungle blows.

After a stellar year for Khalab and On the Corner these three remixes bring knock-out blows
for 2019 dancefloors.

Hieroglyphic Being's 10 min sledgehammer shakes the floor as the mythical producer runs a
profound groove with three 808s pummelling the spine of Khalab's track.

On the B side, Afrikan Sciences uses the Afrocentric theme of the original to strip it back and
propel it into the cosmos.

Khalab's 'Black Noise 2084' has already racked up 'Album of the Year' status and we're giving
you a first glimpse of this earth scorching, dance destroyer that will prepare an onslaught for
2019.

Hot off the press - a classic and much-loved Shield rework from back in 2010 backed with a brand-new, unreleased take on another vintage Lil' Louis joint.

It's seen heavy rotation from the likes of Annie Mac and Pete Tong, alongside being a firm favourite across the summer circuit this year. TIP!

Rowee joins All Day I Dream this December with some smooth sultry grooves that encompass beautiful vocals as well as some deep, warm and romantic atmospheres.
The EP opens with two vocal tracks and then explores deeper terrain on 'Udara'.
'Anima' is a trip into outer space drawing you towards the glassy sounds that drop in after the break.
The digital EP rounds out with the meditative 'When Water Falls' which definitely shouldn't be played at the peak of the night unless you're in a yoga class.

Love, Leee.

Deep house done properly - Australian trio Rüfüs' amazing 2016 sophomore album 'Bloom', previously only available in Australia, gets a welcome, worldwide release.Featuring the singles "You Were Right" and "Like An Animal!" it's a journey through richly layered synths behind driving beats, atmospheric build ups and killer breakdowns - all married together with Tyrone Lindqvist's soulful vocals. From the heartfelt epic that is "Innerbloom," to the uplifting melody of "Say A Prayer For Me," 'Bloom' will have Rüfüs fans fall in love all over again.

In a new transatlantic partnership, UK label Secret Reels and Washington, DC imprint Better Listen Records have teamed up for a run of collaborative records. The joint brand, Secret Listen, combines the labels in sound as well as in name. Imagine the lush, pensive and moody deep house tones of Secret Reels joining with the sample-heavy disco soul leanings of BLR.Secret Listen Vol. 1 takes two artists each from both rosters for the first amalgamation. The "Secret Side" hosting English producers Harry Wolfman and Chocky, while the "Listen Side" invites Sune and Vitamin D of High Hat Appreciation Society and the newly founded Honey Butter Records to the affair. It's a V/A release with a variety of offerings and flavours. Wolfman's "Floozy" sits first in the record as a bright and whimsical flute-led morsel, while Chocky's "Inner Disco" is a cerebral, loopy cut. On the flip, Sune provides some exquisite Rhodes action in his groovy midtempo effort, "Glidin'", and his Swedish compatriot closes out the affair with the bittersweet "Lately".

The powerful duo of Audiojack enter 2019 with a bang, returning to Crosstown Rebels once again. Delivering two distinct dancefloor tracks, their Inside My Head 12' is set to make an impact across the globe.

Title track Inside My Head is a deep and spellbinding production, woozy and enthralling with a pulsating beat and catchy vocal hook. On the flip, Behind The Curtain is a darker, more industrial affair with a gritty drum section and an enticing groove.

Audiojack began life over a decade ago on Ralph Lawson's seminal imprint 20/20 Vision. Since then Underworld, Groove Armada and Hot Since 82 are among the artists who have enlisted them for remix duties. They began their own highly regarded imprint, Gruuv, more than eight years ago and the label has charted releases from artists including Emanuel Satie, David Mayer, Marc Romboy, Stimming and Joyce Muniz. The duo's energetic DJ sets have seen them play in hundreds of cities in over sixty countries and they've also been nominated in the DJ Mag Best Of British Awards as well as recording a coveted Radio 1 Essential Mix.

Once again People of Earth gives us the dance floor goods and for their 10th release calls on Detroit legend Norm Talley for a dirty four tracker. Tracks that range from deep and raw grooves to a straight big room banger. "Rise Up" rocks the Martin Luther King sample over Norm's deep house groove. "Don Yo Thang" is a nasty house banger, sexy vocal samples and infectious chord stabs. B side starts with the the big room bump "Houzz Music" track. Detroit techno at it's finest. "World's Final Preview" rounds out the record with lush and dreamy pads accompanied by a wicked baseline.

germany-via- artist osker offermann, the owner of leading label white presents us a quality dou-bled package on the mule, strongly effecting his meditated mindsets.
as well as his dj sets, his crafted productions have a superb balance between being not too exces-sive, but not being too minimalistic -

Karlsruhe based DJ/Producer Roman Muhlschlegel dropped his first musical gems back in 2008. Inspired by Disco and Funk and working from an analogue-heavy studio, the German turns out smooth, deep and groovy house with touch of elegance and slice of grit.

For his Petra Digital/Vinyl debut the Soul Estate label boss has crafted two fresh and original gems in 'Sweet But Stinky' and 'Hot Tea With Sugar', both of which are backed by remixes. Fellow German Peter Clamat gets to grips with the opening number whilst Amsterdam's Nachtbraker rework's the title track.

After the success of his debut EP Back and Forth', Sasch returns with the much hyped and
anticipated Lazy Strings'. The EP features two new tracks from the artist and they are
accompanied by two well crafted remixes from Soul Button and Mario Aureo. A third bonus remix
by Mario Aureo will also be available on digital release. The young Italian dj and producer is hungry
to show that he has so much more to give.
Title track Lazy Strings' is a deep moving club anthem that leaves you yearning for the rush of
the night. The enticing vocal sample is driven by a rumbling bassline and sent into orbit by
shooting synths that rise and fall with such style and grace. Sasch doesn't let go until you have had
enough.
The rst remix of the EP comes from Steyoyoke's Soul Button. Taking a darker step with his remix
of Lazy Strings' and yet still maintaining that same drive and purpose from the original, Soul
Button turns up the bass for maximum pleasure.
Hearts and Minds' is a devilishly endearing track crafted with the purpose of sending you into
ecstasy. Climbing to reach the highest highs, though with steady patience, Hearts and Minds'
teases you with seductive sample work and a swarming harmony.
Having the last dance of the night is Mario Aureo's remix of Hearts and Minds'. Mario Aureo is
uncompromising with his expertly balanced remix that just keeps giving. Rich with atmosphere,
sharp synth work helps plummet the inescapable groove back into the insatiable and enduring
bassline.

For its newest record, Public Release soars over the Atlantic and glides into Greece to convene with two brothers from Thessaloniki, Christos and Fotis Papadakis, for Cosmic Swimmer, a gentle, lilting sunbleached house escapade.

The 12-inch opens with their soft and cushy original mix of 'Cosmic Swimmer', a charmed layer cake of round, full-bodied hand drums, airy pads, and washed-out vocal harmonies. A breezy, wide-open endless groove that ambles along at a not-too- slow, not-too-fast Goldilocks pace that will easily keep you undulating on the floor or in your head. Another pair of brothers, the Soulwax boys, making a very rare, celebrated appearance here, take the reigns and fill out the arrangement by wrapping it all up in some stone-cathedral euphoric resonance and injecting it with their trademark finger-plucked bass struts. One of their top remixes ever Perhaps.

The hot potato is then passed to New York City's Kim Ann Foxman for her take, a more urgent and pressed affair that swaps the organic elements for jittery programmed percussion, strobed effects, and brittle synth licks, all the while somehow keeping the dusting of Balearic feel-good presence intact. Finally, Eric 'Dr. Dunks' Duncan jumps into the frame with a tough love acid- flecked interpretation that thrusts the record into peak-hour rave territories.

Through this fourth release, the label Lüüd Discs give voice to four artists based in Paris. Inspired by the Parisian underground environment, its architecture and its tunnels, productions sound deep and powerful. Four club tracks inspired by house, acid, electro and dub to play in the darkest hours of the night.

ROIT Recordings kick off 2018 with a vinyl release coming from Raw Culture and Quality Vibes Rec DJ Unrefined, and backed up with 2 remixes from Jacob B and Raw Culture head honcho Assymetrical alongside Luigi Gargano.

The label comes back from their successful 2017 which has seen releases coming from Kemt's side project ABE, Herb LF and more. The EP is a powerful collection of dancefloor killers: the title track is a stomping uplifting cut, in opposition to Jacob B's remix, which is a pure Jacking / Techno track. On the flipside the original 'Education Under The Sheet' is a dirty acidy tune driven by powerful in your face drums. The second cut of the side is the dark electronic rework from Raw Culture's head honcho Assymetrical and Luigi Gargano. Hypnotic. Groovy.
The label has also offered up the digital bonus 'Fact' - another straight 4/4 jacking house bomb.

Oslo based Bulgarian, Ivaylo makes a welcomed return on his Bogota imprint with two dance floor cuts on America EP. Warm Rhodes chords and funky bass lines inform the sound of 'Trendy Jose", taking the listener on a groovy ride with Ivaylo's vocal directing the sound: 'Jose is Mexican and he likes it, trendy! Spicing up the House groove ton the flip is a remix from Dallas native, JT Donaldson. Donaldson brings the heat, with his funky deep remix, whose percussive interpretation opens up the track for any dance floor. Ivaylo's second track 'Jacks Confusion' places you directly into Berlin's vibrant sound. Ivaylo hypnotises with the perfect combination of percussion and bass line on the steady 4/4 chi house beat. America EP is Ivaylo's 4th release for Bogota Records since label's existence and its' the beginning the producer's self-styled 'new sound' with more focus on percussive elements within the warm, deep sound that he's known for.

Hot off the back of a well-received debut 12' - 'Probabilidades' EP - published on Phuture Shock Musik some 10 months ago, Damián Botigué aka Karmasound returns to deliver his follow-up release on the Bristol label, by name of 'Can See Thru You'.
For this second outing, the Barcelona-based producer steps into a collaborative mode and calls up on the smoky vocal talents of upcoming singer-songwriter Jedreck, to present a jazzy, late-night bruk affair with a range of influences that includes Neo soul, Latin jazz, Detroit house and broken beat, all doused in soulful warmth. In addition to the lead track, the release also features two inspired remixes by Bristol's very own soulful house don Sean McCabe, plus a bonus original track on the B-side to top off the disc.

UK deep house legend Nail returns to Monologues Records for a full release after his sublime 'Decisions' featured on the 'Dialogue Vol. 2' various artists 12" at the end of last year. Ever consistent, he delivers two deliciously deep gems. 'Voodoo' is a low-down chugger, chunky beats doing battle with disco and soul samples in hypnotic effect. 'On Wid It' also oozes soul in its vocal sample and twinkling keys, a garage tinge to its groove. G. Markus steps up for the remix of 'Voodoo', keeping things rolling and injecting a big groove of a bassline into the proceedings.

With a love for crystalline melodies, gentle pads, and elegant drum programming, Valencian producer Pépe has been handsomely traversing the realms of house, electro, and breakbeat for the last two years. Armed with a sound that is inherently sincere, moody, and emotive, he has fostered a strong reputation from fans and press alike, including being awarded 2018's "Spanish Producer of the Year" in DJ Mag.

After noticed releases on Lobster Theremin, Deep Sea Frequency and Renascence and remixes for RAMP Recordings, Anti Skate, Easytiiger and Midnight Themes, Pépe lands on Loose Fit, a young and exciting imprint with affiliations to Manchester and Tokyo and a current homebase of Berlin.

Starting out with a party series in Manchester which brought the likes of Dark Sky, Brassica, Maxxi Soundsystem and more to the city, the Loose Fit label has set its sights on the meeting ground between italo, electro and dream house, with the label's first two releases coming courtesy of Just Breathe and most recently, Jordan & Brassica, which reached the second spot on Beatport's indie dance releases in a matter of days.

On his Loose Fit debut, Pépe shoots for scintillating rave euphoria across two striking originals. 'Light (High As You Can)' is pure featherweight breaks with gleaming synths and a simple but polished vocal sample that glides through the mix. 'Trouble Glider' aims for similar emotional heights, all in dopamine surge arps and piano house euphorics. Ever the master remixer, Lauer jumps in to close the EP subtly reshaping 'Trouble Glider' into the main stage ready banger that it was destined to become.

(New 2017 masters) After the widespread success of the first Minimal Vision compilation on the resurgent Vibraphone Recordings, The True Underground Sound Of Rome return with a second volume that takes in tracks made over a 23 year period. What comes across is how consistent the sound is, whenever an individual jam was made. The same heavy-lidded melodics and easy-funking rhythm sections prevail across all nine cuts here, at times hitting the uplifting pace of "Vertigo" or heading into the meditative pastures of "Sea Bird", but always maintaining that quintessential Vibraphone feeling. The diggers will be happy to snag the reissued tracks as well as discovering completely fresh material from Rome's premier deep house institution.

All aboard the Super Tuff 003! This vinyl only V/A sails from the Brooklyn docks at dawn. Walking up the gangplank first is our lead cartographer, Australia's DJ Heure, carrying the blueprints for "Ra"ia tropical, ambient cut that grows into a swell of birdsongs and synthesizer swells. Stoking the coals in the boiler room is Hot Coffee, a Richmond based producer who fires up "On the Verge" for his vinyl debut. The aggressive and furiously anthemic tune pushes the EP past rough seas and sails us safely through the night. As morning arrives on the B-side, ship captain M. Vaughan throws a life-raft overboard with the chugging, yet delicate "Man to Man." And with time running out for the motley crew, Austrian navigator Tilman sets his compass for the sunset, keeping morale soaring with "A Day to Remember" ia finale track brimming with beautiful Rhodes work and tender spoken words.
