Axe On Wax label boss Fede Lng takes to his own sub-label Axe Traxx to deliver his latest solo outing with the 'Song At Night' EP, featuring a title track that showcases the emotive and moody side of his sound profile.
The 'Song At Night' EP, which also features remixes by Baltra and Hidden Spheres, is out soon.

After releases on Rhythm Section, Church and West Friends - the 2 DJs, producers and record shop dons from London/Peckham chose the German Toy Tonics label for their next release.
The guys know what's fresh in club culture. They been store managers at one of London's coolest record stores: Rye Wax/Peckham for the last 2 years. And they are becoming one of the most interesting names of the post-house scene of London.
Their first encounter with Toy Tonics was though label boss Kapote. They quickly realized that there are big similarities in their musical vision and way how dance music should develop... so what makes more sense to make an EP together

Soul Imago returns with the 2nd sampler from the German imprint and this one picks up where the last one left off with some nice basement grooves and nice experimental hip hop beats.
The sampler starts with "Soul Control" a Detroit-esque house chugger from French producer Steven Wobblejay who's already made remarkable records on labels such as Compost Records, Jazzmin Records, K7 and FACES.

He is also known for his work with Creative Swing Alliance with Pablo Valentino. The A side closes with a smoothed out hip hop joint with plenty of rhodes and swing from MadDai from Stuttgart Germany who outside of producing beats is a multi audio talent also doing live beats showcases on his SP. The B-side starts off with "Misery" from Stuttgart born Berlin based producer Tim Toh.
Misery is an off kilter house jammy with a light touch on the drums and a very abstract but also straightforward melody line. It's a six minute jam that feels more like 3 as the sounds melt away the time.

This one will do well for fans of Theo Parrish and the more jazz oriented side of deep house music.
Just like the A side Soul Imago shows it's not only a dance label but is all about the beats with a swingy chop heavy hip hop joint from Swiss producer Melodiesinfonie
called "toohpaste". Toothpaste is a jazzy venture with recognizable acapella chops that set it off just right.
Melodiesinfonie is co-founder of Boyoom Connective and has worked with labels such as Box Aus Holz, Soulection and even for Soul Imago back in 2012.
All in all This second sampler is a testimony of what the label and it's artists are all about. Good music and good vibes.

Time for some completely fresh business from a relative newcomer to the scene, though we're sure the name Cosmonection will be on your radars soon enough. The Parisian producer knocked us off our feet with a beautiful debut back in March this year on the fledgling Pont Neuf imprint. His '10 Feet Before The Horizon EP' was loaded with the just the kind of spaced- out, synth-heavy deep late night house that gets us all aquiver over here, so when a demo popped into the inbox we were all over it like a donkey on a waffle.

Here we present you with the Menorca EP; three blissed-out synth jams which explore the space between Balearic euphoria and Detroit futurism. On the title track a mournful Moog lead takes centre stage floating over a rising chord progression whilst punchy 909 drums bring the groove to the dance floor.

Next up, You picks up the pace for a deep and dubby house workout where soft focus pads converge with clattering percussion. Fragments of chiming melody bouncing around the stripped back groove.

Flipping over we have Light which shows Cosmonection at his most musical, layering up arpeggiating synths lines through a slowly building intro until a heavy groove with hefty kick joins the scene. The arrangement ebbs and flows as the rhythm drops out, rising synths creating anticipation and tension. This track feels like an ambitious fusion of musical styles and textures with 90's ambient colliding with Underground Resistance and coming up with a fresh sound for 2018 in the process.

Rounding off the record we have Delusions regulars, DJ supremos and all- round good guys Session Victim taking the reins on a remix of You. Keeping the warm, feel-good pads, the German duo inject a new found shuffle to the groove, bringing a wide-screen sensibility which adds a sublime yet dance-floor pleasing dimension to the release.

The body never lies. Every dance is a graph of the heart. Nothing is more revealing than movement.

These are the words of Martha Graham, one of the greatest American dancers and choreographers of the 20th century. Massimiliano Pagliara might as well have them tattooed on his chest, close to his heart, being an accomplished dancer, too. He has studied contemporary dance in Milan and Berlin, and went on to dedicate his life to transforming experience into movement, be it musical, physical, or spiritual. Massimilano's message is clear: Don't stand still. Don't keep looking back. Know where you are coming from, but don't remain petrified by the past. Take a chance at Endless Change, instead. Move on! Just like Massimilano did.

Stemming from Lecce province, an area at the south-eastern-most tip of Italy, Massimilano has been based in Berlin for several years where he's been one of the main forces behind recombining the city's hardboiled techno scene with an often overlooked sensibility for the soft and the tender. Call it underground disco passion. Massimilano's last and sophomore album, With One Another, released in 2014, was about celebrating the joy of human encounters and in parts seemed like a big get-together with like-minded artists and friends (among them nd_baumecker, Lee Douglas, and Credit 00). The record quickly hit the number one spot in Groove magazine's album chart - and its creator hit the road.

Besides his busy DJ schedule and far from the usual club circuit routines, Massimilano dedicated himself to intense travelling and exploring the world anew. 'I felt like I have lived more than ever,' he states. 'Getting to discover all these beautiful places around the world and meeting so many lovely interesting people, has inspired me in many different ways. I feel enriched.'

The result of these experiences is Feel Live, Massimiliano's third full-length endeavour. It was recorded in several intimate, sometimes improvised studio settings between Los Angeles, Portland, and Massimiliano's homebase in Berlin as well as at airports and on intercontinental flights high up in the sky. Featuring vocals by Private Agenda, Peaking Lights, Kim Anh and instrumental contributions by Fort Romeau, Tim K, and Jules Etienne, Feel Live is Massimilano's most playful and imaginative work to date. It's as emotional as sensual, as vibrant as the first ray of light after a thunderstorm has cleared the air.

Is it awkward or odd to call this record jazzy Presumptuous to pinpoint its spacial, almost orchestral qualities Unfair on the ruling Cosmic powers to highlight its aspirations of founding a new land of Balearic Harmonia and getting down at a huge fertility rite with electro enthusiasts and house lovers Not one bit. Feel Live is pure grandeur and elegance. It feels like an eternal movement.

Martha Graham has dedicated her whole life to dancing. 'It's permitting life to use you in a very intense way,' she said. 'Sometimes it is not pleasant. Sometimes it is fearful. But nevertheless it is inevitable.' Massimilano couldn't agree more. His advice when facing the inevitable: 'Live what you are feeling, feel what you are experiencing, good or bad, it is an experience.'

Tartelet Records rounds out 2018 with 'Minor Forms' by Urulu, a bumping EP that winds up the label's roster of ambitious releases to celebrate its tenth year in business. The California producer and DJ has made his mark this year with a string of standout releases on Kalahari Oyster Cult, Voyage Recordings and his own Amadeus imprint, showcasing his affection for euphoric nostalgia and tight grooves. Urulu stretches out with signature key changes and an elegant hustling tempo across four tracks, reflecting the diversity of touches and influences he has become known for. On 'Minor Forms, he teases the straight and the breakbeat with elements of jungle, electro, ambient and old school, delivering a satisfyingly moody resonance amidst the dancefloor functionality. On title track 'Minor Forms', the sounds of the past and the future exist in the present. Reeling melody lines with hints of acid, dreamy pads and drops ensure that it all makes sense on the dancefloor.

'Destino Tikal' is all about the sensuous and mysterious 'Cuerpo Pulsante' mix, which suggests shimmering sex toy flickers and takes a percussive route across its insistent 4/4 bop, adding chops, keys and Vox for a big atmospheric strut of a groove. 'DRM' wraps deep and dubby minimal bleeps, rolling breaks and a straight kick into a louche swing and funk gloop, while EP-closer 'Quasimidi' starts with a breakbeat before the thump adds the backbone and the hi-hats speed up. Pads whirl and dubby chords underpin a high speed exit from 2018 into the future. Urulu follows Max Graef, Glenn Astro, Space Ghost and others in Tartelet's 10th year, celebrating the label's commitment to work across genres.

Groovy Odyssey are back again with a tasty soulful 4 tracker offering a sneaky peek into what's moving & shaking their dancefloors around the globe... New Jersey's Jihad Muhammad kicks things off alongside vocalist Carissa Nicole with a sumptuous slice of vocal goodness whilst DJ Spen & Michele Chiavarini's reworking of Leedia's 'You' brings the heat firmly to the front of the dancefloor.On the flip French trio Mindstreet team up with highly renowned vocalist Andrea Love for an infectiously good vocal workout, perfectly complimented with the mighty DJ Spinna who's Galactic Soul remix cranks up the vibe for sweet yet bubbly late night rumbler. DJ support from Stacy Kidd, DJ Oji, Ralf Gum, Mikki Afflick, Terry Hunter, Sebb Junior, Paul Trouble Anderson & Micky More.

Runemark Records comes back with the seventh release and this time it's a perfection from Dumming Dum and Rush Midnight and their co-creation Three Pills Into A Fist' including remixes from Atapy, Black Mami and the first ever remix from Ten Walls. The original version from Dumming Dum sets a deep and groovy tone with acidic bass line and the wonderful Rush Midnight's creamy vocals on top. Ten Walls has made an official remix that grabs attention from the very start. It's Ten-Wall-ish bass line, orchestral and emotional breakdown construct dark and epic vibes. A beautiful trip through deepness and back to the dance floor is laid out in Black Mami's interpretation. And the last but not least remix in the release is a banger from Atapy. Dance-able as hell and the most energetic composition in the pack. Dumming Dum - Three Pills Into A Fist (feat. Rush Midnight) is available in vinyl and digital formats. Enjoy the music!

Girls of the Internet are back again with a Gospel-Disco banger!

Joining Girls on vocals this time is respected British Gospel Tenor, Gershom Brown, who delivers a sombre and soulful vocal for the group.

The B side features Detroit legend Terrence Parker turning in a bouncy piano-lead remix.

The 'Vista' EP caps off an intensely busy year for Geoff Kirkwood, otherwise known as Man Power. The British DJ/producer has become quite the 'tour de force' in 2018, with releases and remixes for Futureboogie, DFA, Correspondant, Exotic Series, Skint Records, and his very own Me Me Me imprint. So it seems quite fitting to seal a productive 12 months with a release on Richy Ahmed's Four Thirty Two, a label that itself has been firing out big releases this year from EJECA, Jansons & Senzala and Ahmed himself. And joining this big end of year party, enter stage left, Roman Flu¨gel, who delivers an absolutely stellar remix of 'Vista'. Meaty synths and clattering 909 drums are doused in futuristic Italo disco vibes for
'Outrider', whilst a winning combo of breakbeats and acid affected bass provide the backbone of the simply gargantuan 'Vista'. Roman Flu¨gel's interpretation of the title track brings the break to the fore, playfully teasing out the acidic sounds and surging strings for another truly memorable remix that we've come to expect from Mr. Flu¨gel. Closing the EP, 'Poly Pop' delivers a vivid and bright burst of melody over clanking
percussion and sturdy beats, filled with 'end of the night' optimism that's become Man Power's forte.

Originally released in 1996, the 6-track REMnants EP was only the second record produced by Morgan Geist for his own Environ label. Now beautifully remastered, this heretofore hard-to-find EP is crammed with Geist's early influences: from intricately-programmed Roland orchestras that echo his early techno releases on Metamorphic to jazz- and R&B- listening tracks that would later inform the sound of his debut album.

Deep house for a proper all night party vibes. Baby powder on the dance floor highly recommended.

Omar Akhrif, Donald and Brun are an Italian trio who gave life to the Big Morning Records project, which follows the homonymous after party.
Solenoid 29 is the alias they wanted to use for this first EP, which contains 3 tracks that merge a nervous but elegant mix of techno, house and electro sounds.
Plus a track remixed in a Dreamy way by the infamous spatial artist Etienne.

German production maestro, Butch, joins the Crosstown Rebels family this winter with his remix package for the enigmatic Tuvaband.

Recalling the first time he heard the track, Butch says; 'I loved the hypnotic vocals and started using it in my sets, mixing it into other tracks to make it work in clubs'. He hopes that this electronic version will make the record 'accessible to a whole new crowd'.

The original cut of Trees is a beautifully, melancholic number with Tuva's enchanting vocals dancing across the guitar-led track. On his take on the song, Butch adds dark electronic elements, glitchy components and a heady bass, whilst still retaining a euphoric feel that will work perfectly on the floor.

Butch's illustrious career is proof that the German-producer does not shy away from hard work and it's one that has seen him awarded the accolade of Best Producer two years in a row from Groove Magazine. He's worked alongside heavyweights including Ricardo Villalobos and has released on acclaimed labels such as Moon Harbour, Saved, Rebirth and Watergate. Tuvaband originally began life as a duo, but is now the solo project of Norwegian songstress Tuva Hellum Marschhäuser. Tuva, whose music has drawn comparisons to the great Bon Iver, writes, produces and records all of her own material and has received support from BBC Radio 1 and The Independent as well as being a regular on the festival circuit.

Anouka started a year ago with her first sets on Soundcloud and the response was incredible - building her fan base consistently. Her debut EP "Traveller" is released on SOSO, the label that she runs together with Zusammenklang and Oliver Schories. It will be available digitally and on vinyl and includes two remixes by
Anoukas favourite producers. The EP reflects what Anouka lways tries to express in her sets: Showing that melancholy and happiness are very close together and they can work harmoniously. She recorded the vocals for both tracks by herself, which was challenging yet very rewarding. Frequent Traveller kicks things off nicely with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through Berlin inspired melodies, while the sultry vocal sits wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth. Christopher Schwarzwalder is on remix duties, and from the off creates tension as this atmospheric rework subtly growls as it grooves. Its sparseness is the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic. Liberty is next as it tinkles away, creating a warm glow, and its caressed with its spoken French vocal, creating an air of sophistication. And rounding things off nicely is the Midas 104 Remix. This mystical touch up takes the energy levels up a notch, but increases the melancholy further and adding an air of just the right amount of wonkiness and quirkiness.

We are happy to welcome back the Swiss producer Buraq (Bondage Music, Cyclic) with his his 2nd EP for Bondage-Music. Early in life he discovered his love for music and decided to become a DJ in 2005. Just half a year after he had bought his first DJ equipment he made his debut in nightlife. From day one he enjoyed being in clubs and burning the candle at both ends with party people in different clubs. His youthful enthusiasm quickly rubs off on the crowd and that's how every night with him becomes a great experience. After establishing himself as a DJ in the club scene, he decided to construct a music studio and produce his own music.

His new record contains the deep and grooving tracks "Captured", "Underrated", "Departed", furthermore we are pleased to bring you with "Exploited" a vinyl only track on B1.

After some outstanding releases from Stojche, Aybee and Kuba Sojche, DMK step up again with another impressive release, this time with John Shima who delivers the 'Stealth EP'.
After recent releases on Exalt and Firescope records, the quality continues across this EP, with four cuts of deep atmospheric techno.

This June will see Bondage Music release part two of it's 'Home (Remixes)' package,
welcoming an array of artists to remix Mihai Popoviciu's recent long player on the label.

Following on from Part 1 of the package which has already garnered support from the likes of Huxley,
Neverdogs, Emanuel Satie and Mat.Joe to name but a few, Bondage Music returns with the second
offering in this four part series.

Tuccillo takes the lead with his interpretation of 'Focus', and as always from the Ibiza-based
Unblock music founder we're treated to intricately programmed, smooth and hypnotic material laid
out over seven and a half minutes with a deftly unfolding dynamic feel.
El Mundo's take on 'Triumph' follows, dropping the tempo and instilling a Latin edge to things via organic percussion, emotive strings and mystical vocals.

Frankfurt's Sascha Dive then offers up his 'Atmospheric Dub' of 'Music 999' to open the flip side,
as the name would suggest shining light on billowing dub stabs, ethereal atmospheres and robust
rhythms before Kevin Yost closes the package with his percussive driven 'Hynposia' remix.
The Mihai Popoviciu 'Home (Remixes) Part 2' is out on Bondage-Music 9th June 2017.

After his successful debut EP "Fiasco/Fiat Lux" Philipp Gonzales is back on Bondage-Music with his new collection of deep and pumping "Some Day EP". The originals deliver a striking smooth balancing act to disclose the pure soul of deep house - with focus on the more techy end of it. Actually it's unnecessary to define a specific genre as Philipp runs decent dissolution of borders. We are proud to have him back in the Bondage-Music family and present his second EP "Some Day", including the Vinyl Only track "Crosswinds"

From the redwood forests of Big Sur and the industrial warehouses of downtown Los Angeles comes PFEIFFER, a label dedicated to quality and a diverse musical output. Pfeiffer follows in the footsteps of labels such as Svek and Kompakt, known for releasing a wide range of techno and house with a common thread of unique and unpredictable energy. Looking to bring this type of eclectic curation into the modern era, Pfeiffer draws inspiration from the raw simplicity and effortless magnetism of its namesake location on the central coast of California.

February 9th marks the release of Pfeiffer's first musical offering. A-side 'Big Tent' sets the tone with raw, minimal percussion and acid tinged melodies. B-Side 'Twist' brings a healthy dose of Chicago and Detroit influence to a track that feels colder than house, but warmer than techno. The first of many releases to come, PFE001 marks the tip of the iceberg for Pfeiffer, a label which will continue to reveal itself over time.

Lootbeg is no stranger to releasing quality music. With notable releases on Crow Castle Cuts and O*RS he also finds time to act as label head for "A Friend in Need". The Travel to Planet Trance is being played monthly at Sensu's club night at Sub Club in Glasgow, such is the allure of the melodic pensiveness of the lead track. Cydonia Mensae offers a similar feel for those looking for something a little more stripped back. On the bside Eupen lends a groovier house option before things get a little harder and darker with Relate.

Mr. Voorn teamed up with great artists like Santonio Echols, Ittal Barkai, Denizio, Mike Anderson, Joel Kehren Souldoobie & Clang83.
The result is a very soulful album you might would not expect. Worth to check!

Sonny's Plastic Worlds EP illustrates the diversity of his production. He seamlessly mixes dream house sounds with moody vocal elements. The opener 'Be 4 Me' is made for a grand space. On A2 the eponymous track 'Plastic Worlds' is a journey into Balearic sounds, perfectly arriving in time for warm summer days. 'Kropssprog' elegantly references the masters of Italian dream house, with deep atmospheric soundscapes.'Desert Days' is a moody crossover into electronic pop music, featuring his own vocals.

One year only after the release of his debut EP Déclaration Préalable à l'Embauche, Tour-Maubourg quickly became one of the best promising producers of the French house scene (Trax
Magazine). After some other releases, including EPs signed on Folamour's imprint FHUO and on the English label FINA, the young Parisian producer is back with a new maxi Solitude Collective, still full of melancholic and jazzy house sounds.

Belgium's favourite underground house DJ Red D celebrates the 10 year anniversary of his We Play House Recordings label with 6 vinyl samplers containing new tracks and some very wanted gems from the catalogue. About We Play House Recordings

We Play House Recordings - WPH - is the work of Belgian DJ & producer Red D. Started 10 years ago to release the music of his friend san Soda, the label had (and has) the aim to release house music in all its shapes and forms. WPH's house ethics date back to the days where house was just a name for music that was played in clubs. There is no such thing as tech house, no such thing as deep house or minimal, there is simply (house) music, good or bad.

We Play House Recordings is lovingly led by Red D (real name Bart Van Neste), one of Belgium's leading underground music figures. Be it in his role as DJ, A&R, promoter, music panel host or general nitelife instigator, Red D does things with passion, humor and a healthy dose of keeping-both-feet-firmly-on-the-ground...with a twist...

WPH was started in 2007, so it takes no math genius to know that in 2017 the label is celebrating its 10 years anniversary. Running from the spring till winter 2017 this anniversary will be celebrated with special vinyl releases, a triple CD, a digital compilation, a Spotify playlist and a series of label nights all over Belgium and beyond. True to form the compilation will have WPH classics but also a BIG bunch of new material from core artists of the label like Locked Groove, San Soda, Kiani & His Legion, Fabrice Lig and many more.

Computer says 'mmm!' to this electro 5-tracker from Binaural, the second release on Lisbon label Dream Ticket. Jasper de Jong serves up big portions of wry kraft-funk on the A, followed by jazzy afters both smooth and crunchy on the B. Matched wines are a must.

Crackazat returns to Local Talk with a second single from his album 'Rainbow Fantasia'.

This time two of the stand out tracks 'Sundial' and 'Holding You Close' get the remix treatment by Groove Assassin and Waajeed !!

First up is Nick Moss aka Groove Assassin, his take on Sundial is a rousing rhythm of soulful house that comes bumping in. He kept the essence of the original track but also added some lovely keys, it sure hits that sweet spot and you're hooked for the full seven and a half minutes.

On the flip former Slum Village and Platinum Pied Piper beat maker and producer-extraordinaire Waajeed turns 'Holding You Close' into something imaginative with its layered percussion, jammed keys and vocal arrangement.
It's every bit as clever as you'd expect from a producer that always approaches music with a fresh perspective.

To complete the package is also the original of Holding You Close.
