Waxtefacts comes in front again with a lushy EP straight from the gate keeper - Librarian!
A mixture of fine, subtile house tunes as well as some good old MPC swing tracks are ready to be served as part of his first EP.

The latest release on First Cut, comes from a new act, TapesJamaican. Based in Dublin, they deliver three beautiful techno soul tracks, underpinned by rickety drums and dusty break beats. From their minds to ours.

A-Side is for paying respect! Librarian samples these classics from the library and delivers two exquisite pumping house tunes. Tape003 is gets you through a dreamy ride while "Bronx Key" brings in the classic 909 vibes!

The other side delivers originals from Strip Steve and Straydogpalace which follow absolutely no rules. "Last one and I'm out' continues developing the dream from "Tape 003" while One bedroom apartment' is just in its own galaxy of sonic experiences. Words are irrelevant, music speaks for WXTFX001.'

Waxtefacts returns with another raw joint! Real D and Interstate are warming up with some sunny vibes while Strip Steve builds it up with some metallic hihats and passes it to DJ Storch - who create a royal ending on the B-side. Another record which is yet to be loved

Andrés revisits his A Drummer From Detroit alias for FIT SOUND. Three heavy house tracks steeped deep in that afro-cuban sound that only this drummer can do!

Clave House returns with four deep cuts. Ali Berger is The Protector.

Bress Underground joins the Something Else family, pushing the sound of that timeless old skool sound, that 90's flava ooze through the tracks on his debut EP!!

Berlins premiere Bass Collective continue their march into history with yet another TKO vinyl from regular contributor Bridge Guy. His 4 originals are joined by an absolute hammer of Deepness from Jesse Bru who steps up to remix Psilocybin.

Bridge Guy is exploring Deeper sounds in this EP and Isopropyl opens proceedings with a trip of clattering percussion and synth work, all with a laid back slant. Deep enough for the heads but with a sound that just pulls you in.

The theme is somewhat continued in Lone Frenchman, but where the previous track takes a step to the left, The Lone Frenchman turns right and gets his rhythmic jam on. Tightening up the groove and laying the dancefloor to waste.

Psilocybin really pulls the bass and groove centre stage, bouncy and warm and with a whole load of rhythm in the boot. This one is for the turning point right in the middle of the night where things start to get a little more freaky.

Cheese on Toast, drops things back a touch. Thick tones and a more relaxing vibe perfect for losing yourself in, as the last of Bridge Guys originals rounds out a remarkably vibey EP.

Closing out the package we have Jesse Bru's storming remix of Psilocybin, easily up their with some of the best lo-fi House of the past few years. Jesse rings his own vocal work and really heats things up. Peak time killer.

Los Angeles DJ/Producer Jose Marquez's sound is a result of being brought up around Afro-Latin, Caribbean and other World Music at a young age. Always intrigued by electronic sounds as well, Jose's mission has been to fuse his love of global rhythms with the dance floor. Ankabé delivers just that!
The overall message of the song is about peace, 'Ankabé' means Unity in Sidy's native language of Bambara from Mali, West Africa. Sidy says 'The song is saying...let's all work together and bring the best in the world'.
Ankabé starts off minimally and slowly builds, creating anticipation as the drums start to get louder whilst Sidy's deep vocal intensifies to an inevitable climax that is sure to ignite any dance floor.
Jose says 'Sidy's vocal and drums are the perfect fit. You don't need to know the Bambara language to understand what the song is saying, you can feel it in the rhythm....let the drums speak to you.'
Jose burst onto the scene in 2010 with memorable remixes & edits of artists such as Celia Cruz, Nina Simone, Oumou Sangare and many others. In less than two years' time, Jose was blessed with the opportunity to introduce his sound to the world by remixing for renowned House music labels such as Tribe Records, Djoon Experience, Vega Records, Yoruba Records, Wonderwheel Recording and most recently, the iconic NYC label responsible for the explosion of Latin music in the 70's, Fania Records!

Damian Schwartz' "Existence Itself" is a compilation of well composed melodies that evolve, while gliding over the backbone of dance floor rhythms. Whilst containing five tracks, this record feels and breathes like a full length. "Public Domain" shows Schwarz' knowledge of jazz composition.

The opening track contains chord progressions that are unusual in popular music, but should soothe a more trained audience. Nevertheless, "Public Domain" is a positive composition that should appeal to selectors worldwide.

"Heavy Weather" is dripping with modulated chords, thoroughly selected bits of FX, and otherworldly arps. Deep rhythmic drum patterns guide the track into alterations of mood and a warm bath of intelligent melodies.

"Tyner" is a funked-out piece of work that sounds like a perfect PULP records. It's this track where Schwarz shows that he is up there with the giants of modern day funk sounds. Large synth basses growl through the palette, and an oozing lead synth serves as the recognizable element.

For the B2, a beatless version of Tyner is added to this package. This should be a welcome and fun element for selectors to play around with.

"Former DJ, Now Selector" is a breathing, positive track that's the perfect ending to a versatile work like "Existence Itself".

Paul Rudder joins the Something Else family, with Intr0beatz returning on remix duties for the labels 6th release in their 12" only series. No gimmicks, just real house music vibes that jack and groove for days.

Replaced That Bass is a collaboration for a heavy rotation on 180g vinyl only! David and Marcus pleased to get Jaw from DOP kissing their track Replaced with his unique voice, get crowned by the timeless Norman Weber's Back To The Roots Mix. The other side is draped by That Bass from youANDme feat. Gjaezon which was released on Rejected (digital), yet. Enliven got the chance to decorate it with their special remix. So catch your copy because it is limited!

Jad & The- co-founder of the Beats of No Nation imprint from Australia- delivers three shimmering cuts while getting down to the deepest lake. The 12' comes with a mesmerizing moomin rework and a hand-stamped artwork on offset disco-sleeves- as always drawings and typography by Stefan Marx.

After a remix and a compilation track for Quintessentials, it's the third time that KRL appears on the label and also his third full EP. Following on from his previous releases on Wolf Music Recordings (yes, he can even be found on the first ever Wolf Music release!) this EP is a mixture of two older ideas started in 2014 and two completely new tracks playing on a mixture of samples and field-recorded sounds. - Third' is multistyle. It's got proper house with - never leave', a track that features the beautiful voice of Janine Small. It's got rough deepness with - rhodes to nowhere'. It's got a bit of beat madness with - confession beat'. And it's got sublime, fragile electronics with - glacier'. We love that!

"In 2013 Casey Tucker was thrust into the limelight after 15 years in the shadows. Never truly getting the recognition for is Detroit influenced and post rave sound in the 90s, For Those That Knoe reissued some of Casey's classic material and unearthed some gems on DAT in 2013. Fast forward to the current day and a recent treasure trove was uncovered and some fresh DATs untouched since the late 90s were discovered! Ben promptly bought a DAT player on Ebay and shipped it to Casey's home for the un-dusting to commence. FTTK has worked with Casey to present another round of authentic material for this final installment (maybe) of his classic productions.

This final chapter rounds off in a deeper more melancholic style. Inner Strength has a warehouse vibe with spacey choir pads, percussive bassline and acid funk.

Terraform from Fine Balance 002 gets a rerelease as the A2 cut on this EP. Classic Casey stabs, twinkly leads and shuffling rhythms are the order of the day for what has been a staple in Ben's record bag for an age.

The final track presents one of Casey's finest moments. Waiting Game is the after hours yang to the ying of the perfect summer cut BST on KNOE 2/1and rounds the series off beautifuly. Stunningly deep and psychedelic with its string section and acid lines it's a late night tune designed to usher in the break of dawn."

we are pleased to announce the debut release of a young producer from St. Petersburg, HOAVI. His adventurous electronic sound is one we haven t heard in a while and excited us on first listen. While on one hand, his music has a traditional sound (early 90s UK), HOAVI does create a world of his own due to the versatility in his productions. It is this versatility that creates an exciting hybrid sound, therefore pushing the envelope and making it sound very current, future even. vinyl tastes better...

Over the course of their last two release, Love Notes has brought back the two artists that made their first release such an instant classic; first, Casey Tucker, and now; Simoncino, whose remix of Tucker's Affirmative Action helped to launch Love Notes onto our collective radar. Simoncino herein does what he does oh-so-well, his unwavering nod (and maybe even slight obsession) to that which came before him permeating all three tracks here. Love Note impressively shows no signs of slowing down; three years after their inception, Nathaniel Jat's imprint is closing in quickly on the 20 release milestone without even a momentary dip in quality.

Kanja Records is sincerely honored to present its fourth vinyl release, based on a concept called Sunday Mornings. With this series of releases we will focus on that warm up, early morning, after party gems and slowly fading away from peak time music. Our philosophy behind this concept is that the focus goes to the tracks being timeless, and music that you can listen to in every time of day and night. Music that offers a vast variety, but in the end coming together in that sweet and warm morning glory.
Saturday Dive by Giash was definitely our first pick for the first track on this release. We have been following this amazing producer for some time and we are really glad to have him on our label.
Klavier by Gri perfectly sits beside our opening track. With smooth atmospheres and laid back drums it really gives that calm feel and is perfect for those early morning sets.
Stratocumuli by Oneee stands strongly on our b side, with a bit more freakish vibe, but nicely rounded up by dreamy pads and spacey sounds.
Riser by Vincent Casanova is the final track on our fourth vinyl release. Another track filled with really nice and smooth atmospheric pads, accompanied by breaky drums and mystic voices.

Following on from the success of last year's Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun, Bedouin are back on Crosstown with two original and evocative creations.

Wastelands sets the precedence for the EP with its melancholic ambience and poignant lyrics delivered from one half of the duo Rami. Flamma adopts heavier instrumental sections that create an eerie atmosphere with a pensive and dramatic build up.

Brooklyn-based nomads Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe together form the DJ and production partnership of Bedouin. Since its incarnation, they've achieved notable success, with Mixmag naming them their number one Breakthrough Act of 2017. In the same year they launched their hugely successful residency, Saga, at Ibiza's Heart. They've brought their distinct sound to a number of hot labels including Get Physical, Supernature, Cityfox, Kindisch and All Day I Dream. With their diverse musical influences clear in their productions, Bedouin look set to open up their sound to all the far-flung corners of the world.

OK enough of that. Leaving all other boating references aside we welcome a new name to the roster and (almost) to our wonderful musical realm. Boatman's mature sound brings intricate textures and rhythms/ warmth and subtle emotion to our next release.

Next up on Bicep's Feel My Bicep imprint is a fresh single from fellow Irishman Cromby, featuring two remixes from Electro stalwart DeFeKT and the ever-dependable Shanti Celeste.
Having held down a 6-year residency at Shine in his hometown of Belfast, Cromby now lives in Berlin where he has continued his ascent; having gone on to earn sets at Panorama Bar and Robert Johnson as well as a release on Denis Sulta's Silver Service label.
Now - he slots neatly into the FMB catalogue with 'Retribution' - a single that draws from his experience spent on the floor and behind the booth at clubs in Berlin, with it's stirring chords and frazzled drums.
DeFeKT's offers up a buoyant, 808-heavy take on the original while Shanti's 'Chill' mix omits the kicks in favour of her signature sunny synth tones.

Play It Say It welcome New York artist David Berrie for a first EP on the label and one that offers three dynamite pieces of punchy, high impact and inventive house music.

Raised amongst the diverse culture of NYC's nightlife, Berrie started sneaking into clubs as a youngster and since then has risen through the ranks to have now played iconic rooms like Output NY and DC-10 Ibiza. Fusing his musical history with other genres to create his own, unique style of house and techno, David has taken his passion to the studio and served up essential tunes on Hot Creation and Cuttin' Headz.

Opening the account is 'Revolution', seven superbly programmed minutes of slick and involving house beats and knotted bass. It's a restless, body shaking track to make the floor move with futuristic synths fleshing it out and bringing a vital sense of machine soul.

The equally compelling 'JB Loop' is another dynamic bit of electronic house music. Rubbery drums bobble and bounce about with wild computer sounds and infectious bass all ramping up the energy levels and making for a standout track.
Last but not least, 'Rear End' is a supple, intricately designed track with slippery synths, spinning hi hats and bass surges all wrapping around each other to make for real minimal funk. It's a track that oozes Detroit vibes and cannot fail to sweep up the floor.

These are three characterful and masterfully produced cuts of high-class dancing music.

BHE 8 continues the devastation from Gay Marvine: totally transformed donna summer, a prince disco edit that removes all the vocals, his liaisons avant apres mars master edit, and iggy bowie eno sister midnight.

Goddard is next up on Church White with three hazy nuggets, alongside a remix from your fave house band Session Victim.

Following on from Comfy Bella's Konkahs EP earlier this year, Released's second vinyl instalment comes courtesy of the Berlin-based production duo Horsemen, who mark their debut into the world of wax with the aptly titled 'Unknown EP'. Freshly faced and full of vigour, Horsemen deliver two unique cuts of engaging electronic music which are accompanied by a remix from Released's very own Jorgie.

The title track 'Unknown', features the delicate vocals of close friend Nomoko, atop a robust combination of thick kick drums, energetic percussion and a pulsating bass line. 'Motor Jungle' harks back to the early sounds of Detroit, assuming a 4/4 drum pattern which is laden with a rowdy bass arrangement accompanied by Hip Hop-esque vocal snippets. The EP is rounded off, and mellowed out, with Jorgie's hazy interpretation of the title track - a 110bpm ethereal excursion that takes the listener deeper into the unknown...

Having made an impact already with releases on Permanent Vacation, Hivern Discs and Young Turks, Pional delivers two cuts of outstanding quality on Cin Cin's twelfth release. 'Time Of The G's' drops a gritty bassline and perpetual chord stabs over driving drums and a lingering vocal, whilst 'Born 2 Be Wild' seductively teases with an infectious arpeggiated melody and wistful strings over 808 drum patterns.

Taking care of the other half of the release, the Brazilian DJ & producer Davis come correct after a slew of releases for Live At Robert Johnson, Endless and Connaisseur Recordings. Spiraling marimbas and 80's synthwave aesthetics dominate 'Clone Heart' as the TR-707 led rhythm packs a punch, and on 'Delusions', Davis ramps up the energy levels for a frenetic Detroit inspired jam that leans heavily on jazz chops and motor city melodies.

Multi-city based label, La Dune, comes out swinging with a five track break-beat compilation sure to make its mark. Kicking off 2019 with a blissed-out and controlled high-energy throughout, the Cassée EP sees La Dune make their first steps on to wax.
From its primitively ethereal opening track 'Goma' by DJ RN through to the charged up jungle breaks of Cassettes For Kids' 'Lil' More', the full spectrum of break-beat in its modern form is both celebrated and explored. The exciting return of Sonter on La Dune brings us 'Valmara', a steady yet thunderous room-shaker that builds to an other-worldly second half. Completing the line up, label co-founder Jacques Torrance and additional label debut Native Cruise bring their own distinct break-beat inspired euphoria to the table with the Cassée EP flexing its sonic muscles and hitting us right where it feels good. The sky is the limit for this impressive emerging imprint.

The latest work of Keita Sano's MAD LOVE Records is a 12 inch split by up-and-coming musicians: Daisuke Kondo and Keita Sano. They hail from Okayama!, the alternative dance music label "MAD LOVE Records, and continue to release good quality music one release after another. The fourth release features Daisuke Kondo who is part of a new generation of producers from the same town as Keita Sano.

dOP is welcomed back on Circus Company with a three track heater of an EP with 'A Night in Sausalito', and there is no way of
taming this one. This time, the trio get slapped on wax with a 12' that is pitted straight for the dancefloor. Deetron comes
through with some classy dub work on the remix.
Kicking things off with their headline track, 'A Night in Sausalito', the trio combine their signature and intricate synth work with a
mixture of lo-fi hums and percussive flares until JAW fills the mix and takes the track away.
Rolling on A2 with 'Ischia', the trio drop a straight up meaty drum pattern with a haunting range of vocal licks and delicate synth
grooves.
On the flipside, Deetron strips back the vocals and lays a solid housey dub that purs, intensifies and releases in all the right
places.

After a bit of a production hiatus, label bosses, Frank & Tony return to Scissor and Thread with ‚Odes' their strongest productions to date. Representative of their passion for vinyl collecting, the EP is the most dancefloor friendly to date. Leading the charge on A1, ‚Procession' takes no time demonstrating the duo's keen ability to craft undeniable dancefloor vibes, with a hypnotic percussive groove sure to turn heads. The title track ‚Odes', epitomizes the Frank & Tony sound with an early morning nostalgia and a nod to Detroit. B1, This Time, sees a collaboration with label mate and overall luminary, Darand Land, combining the dancefloor drive of the duos sound with the intricate melodies synonymous with Land's inimitable sound. Closing off the EP, ‚Surface Prelude', sees a raw, but deep warehouse atmosphere reminiscent of early 90s house, but with an indelible Frank & Tony touch.

Continually illustrating his diversity, Elliot Projects Frazer Campbell finally puts some of his funkier sample heavy tracks onto wax for Counterfeit SOUL. Volume 2 sports four unforgettable dance floor swingers with his signature swing & groove. Recently he released another timeless collab on Mosaic with Steve O Sullivan so no suprise that these are also stacked with driving percussion, huge chords & smooth elating strings. This is a must for all bags ! Daytime, night time ....anytime! Volume 1 is floating around on limited TP's so keep your eyes peeled for that one.
