House Vinyl New Releases - News

NYC Veteran and machine wizard Charles Noel aka Archetype reaches deep into his sonic archive to present two incredibly special releases on Bright Sounds. Featuring exclusive previously unreleased material ranging from abstract to sublime in the form of a new & unique alias, (CN2). Essential.

Our next release on Kolour LTD comes courtesy of Rotterdam native Chezz. With previous outings on Boogie Cafe, Superbreak, and Moulton - he's definitely one to watch & someone we've had our eye on for quite some time.
Wild Hearts features three superbly done deep house joints that are well suited for any occasion.

Blind Jack embarks on another journey around secret cities, this time we drop into Wuppertal, capital of 'Bergisches Land' in Germany. Famous for the space-age Schwebebahn and the Lego Brücke. We invite Mr. Mauke 'Colkin' to the team and he dishes out some seriously deep dreaminess that would happily get you around the Schwebebahn in a day-dreaming trance. Also featuring the divine vocals of fellow Wuppertal resident Maria Basel.

Renowned house veterans D'julz and Jordan Fields drop two tracks each for a split release on Radio Slave's Rekids this December. One of the key components in Parisian electronic music, the A side sees a display of groove led cuts signature to D'julz as 'Shy Town' combines sultry bass tones with mesmerizing atmospherics and tranquil piano chords, making way for the crunchy drums and trippy synths of 'In Your Soul'.
Meanwhile, from across the pond in Chicago, Jordan Fields' raw productions begin with syncopated percussion and fuzzy notes until 'Mformation' concludes the package with thudding kicks and ethereal melodies.
Both artists have been commanding forces in electronic music for 25 years each making this split release very special indeed.

"Sgol Recordings are beyond excited to welcome Danvers into our fold, with his debut release Omiyage.
Omiyage translates as 'gift' or 'souvenir' in Japanese, which is exactly how this EP came to life. Danvers was gifted all the hardware that was used to create the six tracks on this record, six tracks that have been packaged and gifted to us.
The EP takes the listener on a trip inside a musical mind that has the ability to take memories and weave them into a rich, sonic tapestry. It perfectly showcases Danvers' effortless skills in sensitive production and sampling, layering shimmering synths with glistening high-hats and building them into swirling dance-floor rhythms. Each track forms a part of a figurative journey taking the wide-eyed listener on a symphonious tour leaving them with an overwhelming feeling of wonderment, whilst lulling them into wistful respite.

The second release from Deardrums on 2MR features three standout originals from Bottin and Leo di Angilla and is made with a serious array of hardware gear. The bril- liantly bespoke 'Dum Dum' is fully of trippy jungle heat, with a tough drum riff and cooing vocals all mixed together with wooden percussive hits and frazzled synth lines. It is stuffed with neo-tribal sounds from deep within nature and makes for a terrific opening.

'Mami Wata' makes use of acoustic percussion to create
a lovably idiosyncratic, poly-rhythmic drum track straight from some ancient tribe. Layered up and increasingly pres- surised, the loose drums make for physical listening and recall the work of Shackleton, amongst others, whilst thick bass really adds to the sense of presence. This track ap- pears exclusively on this EP and won't be available on the forthcoming album or anywhere else.

The last cut 'Into Darkness' is a whacked out, machine made and mechanical rhythm that lays its bare bones out for all to see. Incessant hits, micro-funky keys and paddy kicks all add up to one of the freshest and most original basement tracks you will hear this year.

* LIMITED 2017 REPRESS * - Seminal Dance Mania release from 1997. Ultra rare and highly essential.

Denney has ricocheted through the dance music circuit since his first Hot Creations release in 2012, raising the stakes higher with each record and gaining props from everyone from Annie Mac to Mixmag, who named him their 'Future Hero'. 'Visualise' lands on Crosstown Rebels on 27th May with three original cuts from Denney and a Luke Solomon remix.
From the headsy house of the title track, to the deep and enthralling pulse of 'Senses' and the rolling melodies of 'Hallucinate', Denney illustrates the breadth of his raw and burgeoning talent. While Classic record founder and chart topping Freaks frontman Luke Solomon steps up to shake up 'Visualise' with his awe-inspiring take on the original, hot a you like!
Denney cut his teeth at the legendary Back To Basics in Leeds, where he now holds a residency. This release his first for Damian Lazarus's pioneering imprint and another step up in the ranks for this rising star. 'Crosstown Rebels has been one of my favourite record labels over the last decade so am really excited to be releasing with them."

DJ Boring back on E-Beamz after his hits on SNF and LPH, the fire follow up to Winona is here......

Ocha Records latest vinyl release introduces two gems from DJ Kemit's (also known as ½ of Kemetic Just) full length release "Everlasting". The former DJ and producer for the Grammy Award winning group Arrested Development brought his soul sensibilities to this project and caught the attention of Carlos Mena who enlisted the help of some real dance music heavyweights to rework two of the tunes.
On "Fortune Teller" Eric Roberson lays down a powerful vocal that has been taken to another level by the one and only DJ Spinna with one of his future funky Galactic Soul Remixes. And if that is not enough, Osunlade's hypnotic vocal performance on "Transform" gets the Quentin Harris Re-Production treatment and we are given a peak time treat.

DJ Support :

Tedd Patterson, Atjazz, Osunlade, Danny Krivit, Marques Wyatt, Ian Friday, Jojo Flores and many more.

one day he found a great, reddish slab of stone on the side of the road. It shone. Could he transfer the very same color onto himself
He searched and found a rough surface which he used to scrub the stone hunk until there was a pile of crimson powder. Mixing it with water, he coloured his body with the shinning red. Standing there painted, he began to sing. As he sang, the stone slab on which he stood opened and swallowed him up. Even today, on passing this stone, they say one can still hear the song of the enchanted.'' From below the surface of Amsterdam's underground, Depth Over Distance will release its first EP of spaced out grooves conjured by Eversines. Four jams covering the spectrum of deep electronic music ranging from slow building anthems (Pyramids) and acid fuelled dubs (Transition Portal and Vultures) to the celestial closing pads of The Other Side signifying the first stop on this journey.

Kristiana is the brand new sub label of Miso Records, owned by the Worldwide renowned Charles Webster.

- hello asshole' comes with a crispy swinging groove, which is almost a breakbeat and the sounddesign sweeps splendidly. and then this compelling guitar riff appears and together with the voice and a bold synthi-line, it lifts us to new heights; right where you just drift away, big number, somehow stoned, but still kicking. jimi jules is a true musician, who prefers recording everything by hand, just like kalabrese, and sings himself, when he's in the right mood and has something to say. currently he's busy recording his debut album, trying to express himself and refining his style. jules is one of zurich's up-and-coming talent and already had a bunch of releases, no matter if techy, housy or some kind of dancepop, this boy rules.

The b-side's - kafi-lied' is an ode to the coffee drinking. taking time in the morning and starting the day with a relaxed mood. and the voice of sarah palin, singer of the rumpelorchester, gives the song the energy to gleam over everything to passionately throw oneself into the day and fall in love. Once again a strong performance by the zurich vocalist, the soul breathing just like fresh coffee flavor. The rumpelorchester guys join with a - rumply' choir and kalabrese adds the white milk froth with the right groove and his characteristic analogue synthi pads.

u don't come to find yourself at the helm of one of the most successful underground house and techno imprints without a keen eye for fresh talent, that which has the potential to be nurtured, moulded and pushed to the next level. Anja Schneider has worked hard to hone that skill over the years, fine-tuning her instinctive, risk-taking persona; as a result, she just knows when someone is worth investing in. With that said, she new has her new protégé Kevin Over locked firmly in her sights - and with good reason. But even so, for Over to find himself behind the wheel of one of mobilee's annual long-form releases, despite him barely being over a quarter of a century old (not to mention having only met its founder in person less than a year ago), is quite something. But then again, Anja Schneider isn't your usual A&R, and Kevin Over isn't your usual 'talent' - as if his recent stellar run of EPs on Truesoul, Nofitstate, Avotre and of course mobilee in the last year alone, didn't tell you already. Part compilation, and part album, Over was keen to emphasize how this was his first musically extensive project which followed a defined musical structure, and was consistent in its vibe and mood from beginning to end; 'I felt like I needed more of a defined direction at this point in my career, as many of my EPs had traversed a wide variety of styles. The whole process took around three months, drawing from my early influences in garage and Chicago house as well as older funk stuff. I definitely got lost down the Youtube rabbit hole whilst looking for things to sample! I'm also so proud of having some of my favorite artists such as Marquis Hawkes, Jacob Korn and Soulphiction on board for remixes as well.As a result, the package displays a remarkably well-rounded cohesion, despite many of the tracks being wildly disparate in a musical sense. They all contain that trademark Over sound that's hard to put your finger on, be it the piston-driven, jacking drums, the use of dirt and distortion as a textural tool, or the understated yet catchy melodies. The gloriously gravelly deep house of 'Vember' contrasts beautifully against the woozy, euphoria of 'Look At Me Sartre'. There's everything from disco-inflected bangers ('Pfeffi Care') to bittersweet, nostalgic house making an appearance ('Hillside Av.'), rounding off with his haunting take on Rodriguez Jr.'s 2012 anthem 'Satellite' As is tradition with the 'Back To Back' series, the full package will also be accompanied by a 'best of' mobilee tracks from the previous year, with tracks from Audiofly, Ray Opkara, Rodriguez Jr. amongst many others, and of course Anja Schneider herself. Kevin's series of original tracks and remixes will be available to buy as a 2 x 12' gatefold package. A tour is also scheduled to follow.

Gliding onto Unthank via the Canadian Riviera and the shores of Orion comes Lnrdcroy's debut solo EP. 3 tracks of heaving, dense, rhythmic ambience culled from recent live gigs in and around Vancouver. This eighth release on Unthank further strengthens the bond between Lnrdcroy and parent label Firecracker Recordings, whose double LP re-edition of Much Less Normal is due imminently.

What is there to say about 'The difference' This is how it should be done - deep, with soul and conveying a message, house music doesn't get any realer, any purer. Logic, a collaborative effort between Wayne Gardiner, Roger Sanchez, Vivian Sessoms and Eddie Maduro unleashed this monolithic slab of music on the world in 1990. Truly streets ahead this record helped carve a new sound, a new feeling in dance music. Oozing with human emotion and feeling 'The difference' is one of those records that honestly warrants the title of 'classic'. It's B side 'I got somethin' is a slinky, late night groove that recalls smoky, sweaty dance-floors and is all the better for it, this is the real deal for real. Yet another solid, essential release from the mighty Strictly Rhythm vaults, sounding as important, fresh and incredible as it did on it's initial release. House music history brought back into view for lucky ears and feet in 2017.
'The Difference' has been skilfully remastered from all original master sources and fully licensed and reissued officially for 2017.

Rob Amboule is a relatively fresh name on the scene, the young artist stepped onto 2020Vision's radar following the London based producers self released white-label, KERRI01. A record which put Amboule on the map and was heavily supported by the likes of Paul Woolford, who closed the Space Terrace with one of the cuts last year, and Heidi on her Radio 1 show. This introductory single has now led to a full EP of original material for 2020 here, joining the likes of Ejeca, Huxley and Maya Jane Coles on the roster.

The release kicks off with 'Kerri', a raw deep house cut, embracing a classic aesthetic, the record employs an amalgamation of cutting chords, blooming pads and vocal snippets, running alongside swinging 909 drums. 'Pushin' On' follows, displaying a more understated, reserved approach to Amboule's productions, as he tightly blends swirling pads, resonant synths, and shuffling percussion, with sensual vocal lines uttering the tracks title. Amboule adds a further musicality to the track in the centre stages, throwing in a tension building synth string for good measure.

Last up to close the single is 'Part Three', taking on a retro US House approach, with its crunchy claps, warm, evolving Rhodes melodies and stabbing bass hooks, these elements build the foundations of the record while subtle nuances in the drum programming and background atmospherics add character.

International bobbers from Palmiarnia, Forli, Ness Ziona and of course the Knaresborough dream house HQ. Featuring the nippiness of Møzaika, RNR, Deep88 with L*J on dream sequence and art house vibes. Illustrations from Sebedražie with Peter Mokry.

Meet colors.
Likely to rainbow emerging after the wealthy rain, the range of lively streams comes out to illuminate the surrounding, here is the 1st vol. of the various artists contribution to the release.
Permanently re-inventing himself Peter Clamat, Big Bait Records owner, the artist of UKNOWY, Neovinyl Recordings and already appearing on Sex Panda White with Neptune EP with Ishmael & Leo Wölfel remixes is the man after the opening 'Living Color' track, full of energy, deep chords and raw house drums.
Moony Me is a German-Venezuelan producer and DJ, based in Munich/Vienna, signed to Uncanny Valley, Apparel Music, Toy Tonics. He takes the next step on the release with 'State Of Bliss' played around the melodic arpeggios, screaming vocals and authentic house energy.
Anonymous guy Mystep is a sound producer and singer with releases on Large Music, Apparel Music, Lapsus Music working with major singers in electronic world like Cari Golden, Burnski's voice Beckford and Rahjwanti, is putting his hand to the smooth and laidback deep & funky 'Think' track featuring the vocals by Parisian LaVoyce.
The track elegantly performed by Mystep & LaVoyce is somewhere between deep house and funk, rich with guitars, hammond organs is the good story in the end.
We are very happy to have Americans Pools who after producing the album from our friends from Razor-N-Tape found time to contribute for full length release on Sex Panda White (oops, soon to follow) and 'Etobicoke' - the chill edit which is the logical ending of the whole 'Colors' release.
That's it, play it and make a shout on it and be sure to get one of 200 limited vinyl copies!
Yours, Sex Panda White team

Discos Nutabe's third reference comes by Vandel, the label's A&R debuts with 'Inundación' which means 'Flood'. The album's title reflects the deepness of the thoughts in each element produced by him.Vandel is a talented musician from the city of Medellín where he has worked for over 10 years in electronic music. Now with his own House version influenced from Masters At Work up to more vanguard sounds, show us how intimate moments can become very good musical pieces.Deep House outlines these three cuts, subtly perennial but never a protagonist. Style that he has found best to describe experiences through music, calm atmospheres, a mental dance, the need for tranquility/peacefulness. This is what 'Inundación' expresses.

Four incredible songs on one 12 inch.....

Featuring Atjazz, Rocco, Tomahawk Bang, Si Tew, TrueSelf, At One & Ben Marc
This second installment of the bi-annual mini-compilations from Atjazz hits you with 4 stunning cuts from the second half of 2015. These songs were made popular by our public fan-base.

We don't want any fillers on our plastic so we listen to YOU. Four incredible pieces of music, with some serious remixes to boot!. Fans of deep house / Tech house / Afro jazz house & dub-step will find something to suit their needs right here.

On the A-Side label head Relative delivers to you 'I can't get it', tight 4/4 stomping raw drums mixed with hypnotic pads and old school vocoder, next track is a "ghetto" 2-step juicy remix by Blatta. A3 is a classic deep lo-fi punch house by the Napoli based S-DM.

B-side welcomes back Tengrams and its analogue toys, "Another day" is a balanced 808 running pattern song that leaves your mind dreaming. B2 is the newcomer Will Hofbauer with its moody melodies, easy rhythms and heavy choruses. Last track is Thunderdub from Amazing Analog Adventures, pure Italian gem between used machines and vocal cuts on 110 bpm.

The Craft Spells remix 12' shows two extremes. The Whatever/Whatever remix is lush, dense and full of texture. Simonetti's approach is a more unorthodox, minimal, loop heavy affair, adding hints of melody in unexpected places - tying it all together in the end...

After his "Essenza EP" in early 2016, Andy Bros is back with a new release on Diynamic Music. It's called "Midnight Love", a three tracker in a picture sleeve due to be released in autumn 2017!

WITH OVER A MILLION HITS ON YOUTUBE FOR 'WHEN DOVES CRY' THIS VINYL SHOULD FLY. PRESSED ON LIMITED PURPLE VINYL

WOLFEP027 sees the Dutch duo Homework making their debut on WOLF with a full EP backed up by label favourite Greymatter on remix duties. Homework burst onto the electronic music scene in 2010 with a refreshing take on lush, Chicago-inspired house music, pricking up the ears of some of the most respected underground dance labels such as 20:20 Vision, Made To Play, and Berlin-based Exploited. Their Hudson Square EP - now a vinyl collector's item going for high prices on Discogs - garnered thumbs ups from both critics and peers and, seemingly overnight, turned them into internationally in-demand club djs.
Their EP for WOLF continues the tradition with three beautifully crafted club hits perfect for anytime of the night. Greymatter delivers his trademark sound taking things rougher while still maintaining the soul leanings of the original track.

Locklead is one of Utrecht's best kept secrets with his signature MPC beats and a deep stompin' flavor. He's been catching serious attention lately with his releases on SlapFunk, Hot Haus, Unknown To The Unknown and Soulfood.

The A side "Madniz" combines this year's Utrecht sound with Locklead's signature raw warmth. Dancing sub-bass and radiating percussion! "Roa Tek" is a bomb, ready to explode under your command. Combining shuffling grooves, alien noises and an earthquake sub. Handle with care.

"This one goes out to all the city people. To those who get inspired by the beauty of the reflections that the urban evening sun paints onto naked concrete. To those who know that there is a soul in all the things. We are with you."

Local Talk broadens the palette further with new music by Melbourne producer Prequel The A side plays host to 'Freedom', a jazzy, undulating, mixed-up house sound that epitomises the spirit of Prequel in one track. It's loose and swinging beat infused with hip-shaking bass, heavily percussive piano riffs and crunchy claps only quieten to make way for an unidentified vocal, who politely thanks you for listening and hopes you have a great time while you are here. It sits perfectly in peak-time territory as it does on a late night afterhours tip. On the flip is the ever evolving 'Lefty'. A track that starts off playful & dreamy and features some truly lovely keyboard work. After settling into the groove it takes a sudden and sharp left turn and enters a harder acid focused workout.Percussive elements weave definitively in and out of the bass line as Detroit influenced vocal cries echo throughout the background. This is the type of track you'll be sure to hear blasting out of speaker stacks on all open-minded dance floors around the globe.Another accomplished and celebratory affair from Prequel, it comes highly recommended.

The long wait is over!

All this Artists are no strangers in the game.

Starting off with S-ampel, having released on labels like One records, Dekay and downhill music- he delivers 2 tracks that will fill your dancefloors for sure with his caracteristic hypnotic sound with heavy baselines.

To round Out thing up, comes from our south American fellas.... Kike Mayor (Saint&dont) and Bruno Schiavi(Drumma Records) taking things Deeper for the early evening or afters.

Time to welcome another newcomer to Freerange with a brilliant debut that has already been gaining a lot of interest from early spins. Stefano Ritteri should be a familiar name to many, having dropped several well- received releases on key labels such as Pets, Rockets & Ponies and Get Physical as well as his own monthly Rinse France radio show. A producer in the old school sense, he has the ability and desire to flip from deep, emotive and down tempo jams to the most impactful, high energy floor fillers, all with a deft touch and unique and experimental spin. The Italian producer, now relocated to London, has a studio chock full of vintage synths and hardware outboard which keep him inspired and ensure his output sounds fresher and fatter than most, as can be heard on this excellent two-tracker entitled A Different Happiness EP The title track is a spaced out, percussion-heavy jam which takes a minimal approach but wins hearts and minds with an ear-worm of a melody that gets gets you hooked in from the start. Snippets of spoken word add to the intense atmosphere making this one of those sure-fire, perennial tracks which can work in a variety of sets and still guaranteed to make an impact and stand out in the crowd. Flip over for Pocket Melody, another simple yet effective and inventive track which sees Stefano letting loose on his synths and coming up with some warped Zawinul-inspired vibes in the process. The playful melody snakes around in an improvised way whilst the dubby drums and classic analogue machine beats ensure everyone stays locked into it's hypnotic groove. Definitely a producer to watch for us and we're sure Stefano is on track to continue making some amazing music. We hope you love this as much as we do!

Jazz edits, on welfare!

Milano producer Turbojazz is back on GAMM with 'Food For Cats Vol.2' and this time he throws down fender rhodes fusion style with two full on Jazz/Latin/Brazil-House assaults aimed straight for peak house Jazz-dancin'.

Both 'Bara Bara' and 'The Road Is Hard' are full of tasty Jazz samples (the heads will know whats up!) but are also equipped with additional production.

And most importantly...they'll get u dancing !

We've had our eyes and ears on Tee Mango for a while now.

His debut album 'Imperfections' is a future classic in our book and the Tribute series has been part of our DJ-sets for a while now.
In short - we had to get him to do an EP for Local Talk.

DADHAUS EP is forward-thinking music with an edge (undoubtedly sharpened through countless studio hours).
Tee channels the deep house flavours of Detroit and Chicago across four tracks of exquisitely executed percussion and 'sample-not-sample' work.

It's another winner from the man like Tee Mango.
