20th Anniversary New Celebratory remix by Claudio Coccoluto aka C.O.C.C.O aka 'The Heartists' single 'Belo Horizonti' is set for release on Claudio's independent Label The Dub Records on 22nd of April 2017 for Record Store Day UK.
With this limited edition 12 inch release featuring a fresh new remix, The Dub Records and Claudio Coccoluto continue to recognize the Brazilian Maestro 'Airto Moreira's' contribution and influence on dance music today.
The roots of Samba; Brazil's official genre of music are historically connected to West Africa, particularly Angola and the Congo which are of great significance to Claudio Coccoluto, he feels there are no boundaries in the world of music and hopes this transpires and is expressed through his own music.
With the original track being so renowned throughout the world Claudio Coccoluto exposes his Heart (aka The Heartists) into this 20th Anniversary remix showing his courage to face a huge challenge by remixing Belo Horizonti and acknowledging the imperative importance of producing a more current remix of a great piece of music that must never be forgotten.
Belo Horizonti was originally released in 1997 on Atlantic Jaxx Records and subsequently licensed to VC Records (Virgin Records). The Original version, a mix of over 11 minutes found Claudio struggling at the time to find a record label to sign it for release without cutting the original mix short, it was only thanks to Basement Jaxx and their independent label that it was released with the original 11 minutes intact and further remixes by the likes of Basement Jaxx and David Morales.
The original mix will be included on one side of this celebrational 12 inch together with a completely new remix by Claudio Coccoluto.
Belo Horizonti has often featured as the choice of soundtrack for celebrationary football goals and is often played by the most respected and renowned djs in the world today during their live dj sets at peak time including Fatboy Slim, who recently included the song in his live dj set in December 2016 at the London O2 Arena. Over the past 20 years Belo Horizonti has also appeared in numerous compilations around the world.

Tiago's INTERZONA 13 label returns with a sample free excursion into deep space STASERA is a solo project from Gala Drop's drummer, a naturally percussive quest into throbbing bass led, synth punctuated groovers and immersive trance-dancers, reminiscent of the recent output on Early Sounds etc
Easily matching the unique sonic palette of this cult imprint perfectly, as a versatile, forward-thinking duo of cosmic jams !

After a first track "I Sent You Flowers" released in early 2017, the young Parisian artist TourMaubourg unveils his first EP with a wink title Déclaration Préalable à l'Embauche. A 5-
tracker, with a subtle synthesis of jazz and house, mixing festive and melancholic sounds.

IvanLatyshev is a record producer and DJ with more than 10-years experience, having grown up in Russia's cultural epicentre of St Petersburg. Developing a love for deep house, the young producer has been releasing his perfectly-realised club tunes on labels such as Toolroom, and now provides us with a second outing on Dessous Recordings. The Art of Flying EP presents two original tracks and a pair of remixes of the lead cut. The original 'Art of Flying' is quite a statement - a jazzy, swingy beat introduces the track, before solidifying around punchy 4 / 4 groove. Restless synths drift in and out resulting in a track that is both exceptionally funky and deeply wonky - topped off with a killer spoken word vocal. The ever-dependable Eddie Fowlkes steps up on remix duties and supplies a more jacking interpretation, adding a filthy bassline on his Fly Mix. The same track also gets a 'Crazy Dub' rework which expands the space within the track and strips it down for maximum club effect.

A love-token gifted to the summer 2016 from us at Studio Barnhus: The smash debut EP of MLiR, a Swedish musical collective fronted by Marco Gegenheimer and Einar Christoffersson, blurring the line between wide-eyed exotica and high-intensity festival blitzin'. After an almost 2 year break Pepe Bradock is back on the regular Atavisme Catalogue Number Order. Says Pepe about Number 16 'Le Fada' : 'It 's a tribute to a very precious gift sent from Bagdad to Aachen via Jerusalem / That would have never arrived in Northern Europe without an heroic Jewish Man from South of France.

VINYL ONLY! Redlight drops his massive summer NYC infused houz kut 'City Jams' backed with a Chicago ghetto house remix from Dancemania's DJ Deeon!

'Be Yokai' is the collaborative project from techno duo Minilogue's Sebastian Mullaert, fellow swedish composer Douglas Holmquist and celebrated illustrator/animator Kristofer Ström. Uniting music with art and the moving pic ture, 'Facefist' leads a multimedia experience through a trio of mesmerising audio/visual trips - two films ('Facefist' and 'Facemissed') featuring Japanese anime-inspired shape-shifting creatures and a third more abstract, alternate vision/soundscape ( Facekissed'). Standalone track 'Facetwist' is a more propulsive version of leadtrack 'Facefist'.

This debut release will be landing as a rare treat from Hypercolour offshoot Space Hardware in October with a limited run of vinyl. Art flourishes when the freedom, flow and creativity intersect. Often a direct response to resistance, art transcends borders and the physical to allow transmission of the soul, emotion and consciousness. Be Yokai , a collaborative project between three artists, represents these core values uniting music with art and the moving picture.

At the convergent point between these three disciplines we find Be Yokai, driven by rhythm and vibration, while delivering progressive, transcendent visual stimulation. In this free zone they flourish, as their art flows out of them without a hint of resistance. It's the kind of freedom that many artists strive to achieve with no pressure, no deadlines and no strict briefs to uphold. The notion of trust, encouragement, confidence in one's approach is what we find with Be Yokai. All three men have known each other for over a decade, and worked closely together during that time on several occasions. This foundation keeps their relationship strong and provides a comfortable layer upon which they are building an intriguing project. Sebastian's musical endeavours have taken him around the world, both as a solo practitioner and in the duo known as Minilogue, among other projects. Douglas, an accomplished composer for film animations, advertisements and video games, also makes club music. Kristofer is a world-renowned illustrator and animation specialist, also adept at making music .

From the very beginning, the group have worked in an unplanned, natural, organic way, exchanging music and visuals with each member contributing to the progress of each track and accompanying video. It's a project that acts as its own catalyst, as the three artists contribute their respective talents to the final product, bit by bit, without having a defined goal or target. All three men agree that Be Yokai represents an organic, intermittent working process that is not bound by the constraints of future pressures. Eventually there is the hope of taking Be Yokai to the stage, for a concert style performance with live instrumentation accompanied by Kristofer's mind-boggling visuals.

Brassica's turn for Vivod in 2017 see's him on top form following his release on feel my bicep late last year. His Blue Function ep is a mixed affair with opener Coco Diaz starting procedeengs as a weirdo acid burner. We then have a u turn with splash, more of a new age type track but still with that unmistakable Brassica touch. On the flip Nothing to say is an unsettled beast with horror vibes and things are rounded off with title track Blue Function, a more laid back shroom opus. Quality material as per usual from Kents number one viking megalad. Don't sleep

Cottam's Ruff Draft label reaches release number 9 with a stunning double drop from Milo Johnson AKA DJ Nature. Always one of our favourite artists, we've loved Milo's music for years at Ruff Draft and his tracks on Golf Channel, Sound of Speed and Jazzy Sport never leave the box, so we are blown away to present to you two future classics.
'Alfred' is a masterclass in raw rhythmic production, kicking off with popping old school drums and builds into an uptempo jack track with a melancholy and depth missing from a lot of modern club tracks.
'Blood On Your Hands' is sonic bliss, a stunning polemic using a speech from a 60s episode of The Twilight Zone that still resonates today, about the futile loss of life in wars run by people who don't fight them and monetary interests placed over lives. Brooding sub bass and dub techno sensibilities combine with a lolloping shuffling groove for a darker head nodder with a serious and sadly still pertinent message.

Better known as Kemback, Geoff Wright is a Bristol based producer, selector, composer, violinist, teacher, and waiter whose music is rooted in House and Techno but often treads into the weird and wonderful worlds of Jazz, Soul, Folk, and Blues.
While his gritty drums and shuffling grooves bear the hallmark of the city he now calls home, the melodic sensibility of his emotive strings and distant glimmering synths harks back to the tree-lined footpaths of the tiny Scottish village from which he takes his name. His debut release in 2014, on Bristol mainstay Futureboogie, received widespread support from DJs as diverse as Skream, Mosca, and Nemone.
More recently his effort as part of Alfresco Disco's acclaimed Maximum Joy series, titled 'Awaken', has been likened to the music of artists including Floating Points and Leon Vynehall.
Good Night & For You Today, the two tracks on Kemback's Omena debut, showcase a high level of production skill.
To complete the package the always excellent Auntie Flo (aka Brian D'Souza) & Omena label boss Tooli take turns in remixing Good Night.

The label say 'Just think Moodymann meeting Floating Points and MCDE with an Akai MPC on the table in front of them and a vast record collection within reach.'

nyc producer marcos cabral, often releasing certain dj weapons from the labels as l.i.e.s, the triology tapes gave the birth to 3 tracks with punchy energetic machine-ism.
his polyrhythms(which makes us addicted,) and lo-fi hardware pulse always set some hooks to our mind

- which we found in boosted drum lines and sometimes industrial noises as a1 and b1.
set up with b2 which is also nicely balanced deep house tune, it is definitely capturing aesthetics of roughness and fineness as
whole ep.

124 Recordings return in 2014 with 'The Link-Up' EP-four tracks split between London producer Stevie B and NYC's Doug Gomez, both delivering their own interpretation of house music recalling the heady days of the 90s without relying on the same tired and over used formulas.First up is Stevie B,fresh from his collaboration with Victor Simonelli, and with releases on Matt Jam Lamont's Solo Music and long-time UK House stalwart Jeremy Sylvester's Urban Dubz.Opening track 'Get So Blue' reaffirms the less is more belief, with skipping drums and hats holding up soulful keys and vox, underpinned with a warm bassline and pads.Next up is Brooklyn resident Doug Gomez.Formerly of the Drrtyhaze duo with releases on Tirk and Gomma,he has also released on King Street Sounds and Ultra Nate's 411 Paradox Underground.Taking things back to his roots 'Phoenix Rising' is a blissful track full of delicate and colourful melodies, while the solid kick drums toughen things up.He open's up the second side with 'Ohh Baby',a straight-up underground house jam-with crisp drums and high treble clicks leading into a heavy bassline and a female vocal hook that really stay's in the listener's head.Last but by no means least Stevie B closes things with his New Jersey influenced track 'When I See You',where warm rhodes and strings make for a perfect late-night vibe.

Male Productions comes back after the first release "Secret Doctrine", with the second LP : "Clouds" ! This release comes as collector's Album edition of 475 copies only and it contains the songs "Clouds" and "Interface" released in 1991 plus four unreleased songs recorded in the same year but performed only live during house parties back in the days. This LP still features Stefano Di Carlo, Leo Young and Mauro Tannino.

Tomoki and his Holic Trax label have long been serving up solid house music whilst Tuccillo has conjured up numerous Beatport chart toppers on labels like 2020Vision, Visionquest and Holic Trax. Here their unique style brings you back from classic house music to future minimalism and is sure to fill you with joy.

Ilija Rudman production continues for Imogen Recordings . Special release - IMO 006 delivers 4 tracks concept - mini lp - space-disco-house influences that formed labels roots.

Futureboogie open their 2017 account with a new release from Lizards, the Newcastle based duo otherwise known as Lee Forster and James Hadfield. After appearances on labels like Leng Records, Join Our Club and Not An Animal Records, Lizards strut their stuff across two original tracks, whilst man of the moment Lord Of the Isles weighs in with a superb remix.
The percussion driven house of 'Tzatziki' kicks of the release, wrapped in warm and inviting pads and piano riffs. Shades of old school Chicago house meet sun-kissed Balearic vibes on this early morning riser, as the heavyweight bass sounds curl around the raw drum programming and illuminating keys sprinkle over the production.
On 'Aloof', the tempo is taken down somewhat, as a bass line wanders over a steady kick and otherworldly ambient sounds and hushed vocal clips lazily glide over the 4/4 arrangement. As the track unfurls, more melodic and percussive elements come into play, blossoming into a something quite epic and unique.
With a slew of releases for quality imprints like Permanent Vacation, Firecracker, Mule Musiq and ESP Institute, Neil McDonald, AKA Lord Of The Isles, serves up a deliciously chugging version of 'Aloof'. Gurgling bass and marching handclaps are dowsed in dramatic synth sweeps and glacial tones, as the good Lord takes us on a monumental ride.

For their next release, Freeride Millenium once again link up with Pauls Musique for a perfectly formed new EP from Raphael Danilo feat. George Pappos. Both Danilo and Pappos reside in the rough edges of the greek mountain Parnassos, their musical approach takes cues from their proximity to the ancient sanctuary of Delphi and sees them cook up one fine cut which then gets remixed by Innellea and Nikkname. That lead single is 'Strangers', eight spiritual and spooky minutes of spine tingling and eerie synth music that really takes you on a trip. It operates on another dimension, with pixelated lines and undulating pads all suspending you in space. Perfect for an epic set opening or to really reset the dancefloor with an attention grabbing and emotive piece, it is a truly classy track full of musicality and suspense and atmosphere. German pair Innellea then step up to remix and brilliantly flip the cut into something just as epic and enchanting but with a mid tempo, rubbery house beat down low helping you slip into the deep and colourful groove. Last of all, Nikkname then re-works the whole thing into something minimal and absorbing. The whole thing is riddled with intricate sound design, tender piano keys and the sound of static. It is a real symphony of the organic and the electronic and as such cannot fail to make its mark. This is an artful package that demands close listening with suitably eye catching visuals supplied once again by artist Daniel Rajcsanyi. Thanks for purchasing a real copy!

Hands Off is back with another stunning release - This time we asked Trinidadian Deep to release two tracks on a fine 10". We love his deep music, Trinidadian Deep has a very unique sound, and we think that this release is something very speciel. He released tracks on labels so many quality labels, and we can't wait for this to drop.

Venezuelan extraordinaire producer Trujillo is back with a new set of sun-injected future nostalgia cuts on Apersonal Music. Street soul and Trip-Hop atmospheres deliciously blended together transports you back to a remote paradisiac beach in the heart of the Venezuelan caribbean coast. Both tracks feature the seductive voice of Colombian Paulo Olarte and a very exclusive appearance from tropical disco maestro Daniel Grau in "Hola Como Estas" on the piano. To complete the journey the flip side runs through the exquisite balearic tool mix of "Everytime I Think Of U" by Norwegian producer Telephones, feeling hypnotic and sophisticated. El Caribe te lo da!

We're not done celebrating our 10th Anniversary at the Still Music headquarters and we've decided to continue diggin' for some treats from our vaults.

After we've released the critically acclaimed "Kill Yourself Dancing! The Story Of Sunset Records Inc. 1985-89", a lot of our friends were asking us for some specific 12"s to be repressed. We felt obliged to comply and here we go with three of the most significant 12"s from Sunset Records Inc.

Finally, the third repress is a treat for all. Championed at the time by Derrick May and recently played by Marcel Dettmann at Berghain. Ben Mays - Lover Man / Jailbait is for any fan of Larry Heard and the deep Chicago house that we're all fond of. This 12" features Keith Nunnally, vocalist for J.M. Silk that had to keep his name under wraps at the time.

This October, to mark its 10th anniversary, Booka Shade will release a 2016 remaster and expanded version of their era-defining LP Movements.Including 10 exclusive remixes from electronic music's finest artists including Nils Frahm, Jonas Rathsman, Deetron, Eats Everything, Dennis Ferrer, Patrick Topping, M.A.N.D.Y, Andhim, Hunter Game and Chi Thanh who will take on classic singles including 'Night Falls', 'Mandarine Girl', 'Lost High', 'In White Rooms', and of course, 'Body Language' (Remixes appear only on 2CD version + download code included with vinyl) Presenting a mixture of original works, reprises, reworks and remixes, Arno Kammermeier and Walter Merziger have ensured there is no sonic stone left unturned in this reissue of Movements. Not to be mistaken for a nostalgia piece, the re-birth of Movements is truly the next chapter in the constantly evolving life of the album

Carrying on the stellar run of EP releases for the Manchester-based Underground Audio imprint is System2, the mysterious new alias for a duo of producers who are certainly no strangers to the game. Whilst their old identity remains hush-hush at this point, we can tell you they've had past releases on labels like Cecile, Get Physical and Defected.
'Waxing Egos' stomps along with a propulsive four-four beat and an uncompromising, take-no-prisoners bassline, whilst offset by chirping lasers and bubbling synths.
Maintaining a fine balance between quirky and serious, it manages to make its listeners smile whilst always keeping an eye firmly on the dancefloor. 'Subbing It Out' continues this vibe, combining hip-hop vocal cuts and the occasional disco-stab, over a thrumming undertow of bass, while 'Don't Call Me' places an amusing phone-call recording over a similar rolling low-end.
There's a real juxtaposition at work here; between its jacking Chicago stomp and playful sense of humour, the EP manages to evoke the spirit of labels such as dirtybird, and really give this EP a unique charm. Quite frankly, in a day and age where so many DJs are best defined by their stoic, 'why-so-serious' scowls, it's refreshing to see others are still up for injecting a bit of fun into the proceedings.

Last year, Edu Imbernon & Los Suruba delivered Cederron, an amazing original track with two awesome remixes from Richy Ahmed and Lee Van Dowski.
For this year, we have something even better. Shadows Of Rigadon is a genuine proggy trip with a huge amount of musical layers, acid basslines and strong beats designed for special moments in your sets. For the remix we count on Clarian and his delicate, deep and sophisticated way of understanding the electronic music. This release is a timeless work of art, trust us.

Inspired by a french 19th century etching, Nicolas Chaix (a.k.a I:Cube under his moniker ICOLA) made these 4 diabolical percussion driven tracks during the hot summer of 2016.
Ultra heavy and trippy music for the body and the mind.

"I want them to hate me for putting this out" says Jackmaster Hater, referring to tracks once possessed by a mere handful of Chicago House DJs. These recordings, traded secretly on tape, were exclusive to the likes of Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles.

Here is the new compilation by Jerome Derradji with Kevin Starke, aka the infamous Jackmaster Hater and owner of Kstarke Records in Chicago. It is one of the sickest slice of Chicago House Music ever released.

This compilation features ultra rare and lost Chicago classics paired with a nice selection of newer tracks produced by Jackmaster Hater and his friends, all nicely laid out on a DCD and 2 DLPs. The DLPs come with a killer poster and the DCD features a booklet about Kstarke records and Kevin Starke and a few more surprises.

It includes rare tracks by Ron Hardy, James "Jack Rabbit" Martin, Terrence Woodard, Traxmen and many more.

This is the real sound of Chicago.

Limited Edition, Special Edition, White Label

The latest instalment of Afro-disco bullets from Dublin's OTE, this time featuring Irish producers R. Kitt and Cove.
The first EP sold out in just 24 hours with heavyweight support from the likes of Hunee and MCDE, so don't hold back.

For our 57th release we're stoked to be bringing you some heavy new biz from the one and only Ron Basejam. This man is responsible for some of the classiest disco-influenced House music dating back to '05 when his anthemic For The People blew our minds and soundtracked many an after-party so perfectly. Recent EP's on Eskimo, Wolf Music, Futureboogie and top notch remixes for the likes of People Must Jam, Brownswood and Classic have all delivered in spades.
Here on The Sound Of A Feeling EP we have three brilliant raw, stripped and chopped analogue jams plus the first ever remix from Tee Mango who comes hot off his stunning debut LP Imperfections on Millionhands.

Boot & Tax are back. After two 12"s for Optimo Trax and an album on Optimo Music they return to Optimo Trax with their first new music of the year, just before it ends.
Four tracks of spangled, idiosyncratic, woozily spacious and slightly off kilter music that could only have been made by these two Milanese maestros. As ever on Optimo Trax a quadruple A side where all tracks share equal billing.

REPRESSED !!
Fresh off the back of his debut EP for Phantasy which won support from the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Tiga, Damian Lazarus, Andrew Weatherall, Gesaffelstien, Jackmaster, SMD, Heidi and many more, Phantasy proudly presents Paul Woolford's Special Request remix of 'Taste'. A thundering rough and ready approach to the original track, twisting it into something which would resemble Kraftwerk had they spent their formative years overdosing on jungle.
