Its lyrics are taken from the film The Thin Red Line, a movie about mans destruction of nature, his world and himself. Come Home is equally alluring with a dreamier narrative, and Pional's remix is stripped back and effortless.'For these two songs, the inspiration is coming out of the darkness that is inside all of us. The remix is courtesy of LA-4A, aka Ambivalent and legally known as American born producer Kevin McHugh. Stripping out the house music and replacing it with a grinding electro-acid template, LA-4A creates a lovely buzzing new bed of music for Nancy Whang's vocals to rest on top of it. This is a remix with wildly successful results and a perfect companion to the original.

The North East of England is known for its role in helping to shape the UK House and Techno club landscape during the late 80's and throughout 90's.

It's infectious and raw energy engaged Slip-D from a young age exposing him to a number of venues including The Riverside, Empire, Pleasure Rooms and the hedonistic Rockshots.

Drawing inspiration from the scene along with potent labels like Svek, Guidance and Shaboom that came in to prominence in the late 90's, a bedroom studio set up of amassed hardware funded on a basic income was then formed over time. Residence in Teesdale Avenue, regular local Car Thefts and the wail of the Rag and Bone man all assembled themselves as a formula of what was happening outside the 4 walls of the studio. The vaulted Hypnoelectronix No.1 finally got pressed after some years, and transports us to the true crux of that era. More material to follow in 2017 on the HPNX imprint...

UnReWorks is a collection of Unreleased Remixes by Fred Everything. Starting with 2 Reworks of Crazy P "Like A Fool", one of the highlights of their latest album "We Dance Talk Sing". Crazy P and Fred have a long history of remixing each other, from the Crazy P Remix of "Friday" to Hot Toddy's Remix of "Don't Nobody" feat. N'Dea Davenport and Fred's Remix of Hot Toddy's "Down To Love". On the flipside, his Remix of Roach Motel "The Night". The Vocal mix came out on a Limited Vinyl Only release on Get Physical. To close the EP, Fred Remixes an old friend from Montreal, Franky Selector, with his track Windswept Dune, from his forthcoming album, showcasing a slower tempo and different production quality than his usual material.

From the age of 13, Jullian Gomes secretly gambled every cent of his school lunch money on buying deep-house records; no doubt with the unknown knowledge that someday, these records would change his life forever. Only a few people know this but Jullian used to sneak, yes! sneak into local clubs in and around Pretoria / Tshwane from a very early age. At this time nothing could stop this young man being 'in the moment' to enjoy the music that has now, amazingly, become his full time career. Maybe his parents will be ok with the knowledge of his secret nightlife now knowing how incredibly skilled and loved their son has become throughout the world of dance music. Jullian Gomes is truly a very dedicated individual, and this young musical maestro has in just a few years leaped forward and galvanised a career for himself in a very competitive industry. From his brief visit to London for the Red Bull Music Academy in 2010, to releasing his debut album 'Late Dreamer' in 2017, Gomes, with a lot of hard grafting built up his relationships and very quickly covered a lot of very bumpy and obstacle-ridden ground to get him to where he is today. To say this man is 'Here To Stay' is a massive understatement.
Late Dreamer is unmistakably the sound of 'Jullian Gomes' - wonderfully laid back, thick chunky beat-ridden soulful house music featuring some incredible talent, that together make a warm and attractive addition to the world of electronic soul music.

For the 12th vinyl release Wicked Bass welcomes Galdoors co-owner Junes, who gives us the light again on his current music tastes through three rhythm driven, UK infected tracks made for the tight, sweaty dancefloor.

German duo Silky Raven, aka Jakob Seidensticker & Henrik Raabe (a.k.a WAREIKA), drop their latest effort 'Seychelles to Rave' on vinyl for Beirut based label Fantôme de Nuit.

Silky Raven go straight into it with the sweltering A-side Seychelles to Rave'. Complete with tropical stabs and percussion, a kick drum pushes the track forward as it builds and expands. By the time it all drops out for the tunes compelling bassline it's too late, you're hooked.

On the first track of the flipside, Jupiter to Jupiter', the duo takes a more disco-tinged approached. True to the tracks name this spacey effort, makes use of retro sounding keys and flashes of acid to induce memories of another dimensions.

Billions', the EPs final and darkest track, is a deep slow burner. The perfect end for a rave in Seychelles. A brooding bass line drags along as some clever percussion keeps the listener light on their feet. This is a track for the latest of hours and is sure to revamp the floor.

Loure is 22 year old, Melbourne based producer Thomas Guida. Deriving influence from a vast range of musical outfits, he delivers a refreshing take on his interpretation of Deep House. 'Westside Movements' was written, produced and recorded on the inner skirts of Melbourne's western suburbs. Gaining heavy influence from ongoing cultural movements currently gracing the streets of Footscray, the surrounding abandoned warehouses and the banks of the Maribyrnong River, this record is an Ode to the West and the joy.

The Berlin based producer and DJ Marquis Hawkes is next to take the baton for Creme Organization with another of his searing EPs. Before now Hawkes, about whom little is known, has released a diverse array of rough and ready, raw and ripping tracks that range from deep house to jacking acid, weird techno to freaky electro on labels like Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Clone Jack For Daze. First up here is 'Tunnel', a slow and lazy house cut with rubbery bass drums and sharp edged hi hats making for an inviting groove. Starry melodies unfold up top like a classic night sky and deep, spacious synths flesh out the simple but effective track. Next cut 'Prince Among Men' is a much more prickly and synapse firing affair with random hits, stuttering drums and chopped up vocal samples all chucked together into one fierce brew of soulful analogue noise. On the flip, 'Sofa Acid' is riddled with hiccupping 303 lines and proceeds at an inviting mid tempo pace, whilst closer 'October Blues' is a deconstructed house jam with rave whistles, cow bell pings, wooden hits and tinny drums all loosely glued together into a slow and sombre track that oozes a freaky late night moodiness. Overall, then, an EP that fits in perfectly with Creme and is another fine release from the man they call Marquis Hawkes.

Toby Tobias can be found in the shadows of South London. This is his first offering for the ESP Institute. On side A, 'Gravitator' evolves slowly over ten minutes from a somber intro of supernatural sighs, pulsing machine feedback and techno squelches into an ethereal landscape peppered with dissonant fragments of synth. With side B's 'Right Turn To Nowhere', Toby stretches out even further, flexing a tasteful programming of the 808 while taking the long road to a reverb-drenched crescendo of distortions and expansive string swells. After a prolific output of material for other quality labels around the world, Toby Tobias has undoubtedly re-focused his point-of-view upon his induction to the ESP Institute. These two songs will have you locking up your children at night.

CASSEGRAIN & TIN MAN are a deadly combination. Old school acid lines programmed by one of the greatest masters in this field meet a super modern techno sound design by Cassegrain, who have made themselves a name in the last years for producing some of the finest in dark and experimental techno. For the follow up to their debut release on KILLEKILL they have put together three tracks that are outstand- ing.
HIGH & LOW is a slowly swelling minimalistic acid epos of over 10 minutes length which proves the mas- tership of Tin Man in programming acid loops of eternal quality. 8 beats length only, but constantly evolving. No chance for boredom. The B-side starts with SEX KIT, a dark acid stomper with a chirping percussion which is well suitable for the peaktime dancefloor, followed by SAND MAZE, a sublte minimalistic ambient acid piece, that winds its way into total dissolution.
We are quite sure that this is the way acid should sound in 2013.

Play It Say It continue to set the worldwide house agenda with another sure to be large release. This latest release is a remix package that finds label boss Seth Troxler and Dino Lenny offer one version, and Classic Music boss Luke Solomon another.
Dino Lenny is an Italian DJ, singer, producer and boss of Fine Human Records who has been on the scene for 20 years. Also signed to Ellum Audio he knows how to cook up eclectic house & techno that brings people together. Doorly, of course, is the global house star who has put out big anthems on the likes of Cajual and Hot Creations. Here their fantastic offering is 'The Magic Room,' a playful track that teases with a discoriff and spoken word musings before lush pianos and hip swinging drums really take over. Some female coos and string stabs later on add real soul, and it doesn't take much to see this one becoming an instant classic thanks to its coy funk and musical charm.
Luke Solomon is a pillar of the UK dance scene with numerous projects to his name, from solo material to his work as Freaks he has a wealth of studio skills and a knack for off kilter grooves. All that is on show here as he flips the track into a breezy disco house roller that soothes your soul and warms your cockles for eight exquisite minutes. Clever loops and filters help add drama and tension to the groove as it builds and builds in increasingly intoxicating ways. When it finally drops it is an authentic party starter that will send hands and fists skyward.

really formulated me as a DJ: Detroit, Chicago and Glasgow.

KREATTONES' third release is here, and We are extremely proud and thrilled to present "Day Tripper" from the outrageously talented JESSE BRU. This four-track EP is a lesson on sampling, cutting and building, an aspect already acclaimed and recognized by all that had the chance to hear Jesse's work (released on Heart to Heart, Egoplanet, etc...). The opening track shares the EP title and clearly demonstrates Mr. Bru's vision on Deep-House, with elements coming and going, breaks and drops, all working in perfect harmony.'I Want U' is a groundbreaking piece of art, filled with melancholy, heart-driven feelings and shivering whispers, resulting in gorgeous love song. The first track on the B side, 'They Told Me' is a uplifting tune, with clinic-cut sampling, powerful vocals and beautiful percussion. Last but not least 'Remember How it Used to Be', a groovy arrangement of pads and vocals topped with a killer bass, ideal for club use.
