For'. John Dimas has been a staple member of the One Records crew since his 'Rhythm Trap EP' dropped on the label back in 2013. A succession of successful releases soon followed on labels such as Bass Culture, La Vie En Rose and Claap to name a few. More recently John launched his own vinyl only label, Elephant Moon. Rising fast in the midst of the over populated industry and with this next release on One Records, both John and Bobby are proving they are only on the way up.

The artist described the EP as being inspired by many of the heavy concepts that have been concurrent in his life during the process of making the tracks. The sounds have adopted elements of the music that have been experienced during his trips to play out in Berlin's unique music scene. Key to the penning of the tracks are the loss of distinctive sounds, expressive emotion and unparalleled feeling that was once so prevalent in the many of the lesser known and iconic works produced in the earlier years of House music. Channeling the desire to bring back what has been missing in today's formulaic music production design, Traela hopes to find the listeners once again looking inside the content of the music. Finding the emotional substance displayed through healing and the release of lost love, Traela's message on the making of this release: " Many ideas were prevalent during the process of the EP but the most important during this exercise was finding yourself, learning to express and learning to love yourself in order to love others'.

Doublet is the production moniker of friends and musical partners Tomoki Tamura and Tuccillo, previously releasing together on other labels, they have come together to form the new eponymously named Doublet imprint as a channel for their own music. Tomoki and his Holic Trax label have long been serving up solid house music whilst Tuccillo has conjured up numerous Beatport chart toppers on labels like 2020Vision, Visionquest and Holic Trax. Here their unique style brings you back from classic house music to future minimalism and is sure to fill you with joy. Up first is the title track, a charming house shuffler with woozy synths, light footed percussion and skipping rhythms that give an off kilter and deep dancefloor vibe. 'Brother Other' is a slightly more physical affair with lumpy beats, tense synth crescendos and stiff snares that really encourage you to shake your limbs. Lastly, 'Buri Planet' is a deep and sensual number with clever vocals samples adding an element of pained soul, rubbery bass bringing warmth and golden synths and acid squelches building yet more character. This is accomplished, alive sounding house music that really does sound fresh. Doublet, then, is already off to a winning start. Vinyl Only.

Transit Records Kyoto's 5th Vinyl Release!! The Label is based in the ancient Japanese capital "Kyoto" (not Tokyo).

Grab-bag 12' EP of electro, IDM, breaks and house from Montreal via Ottawa producer Riohv (aka Braden Thompson), which follows up the similarly map-jumping 1080-released Moondance' cassette from back in 2014.Finding more confidence and proficiency in his own abilities as a producer, Thompson was able to have a lot more fun and subsequently revise and update his sound to reflect his own tastes in records. Secretsundaze are proud to announce their first label compilation DANCE 2017, a Double CD, one unmixed and one mixed. Dance 2017 will also extend into a run of V/A EPs throughout next year, hot on the heels of the first 12" in the same name, featuring Fred P, Nubian Mindz & Aybee out just a few weeks ago, as well as a new party series.

Having previously released three critically acclaimed Secretsundaze mix comps, DANCE 2017 is the first label compilation, representing an exciting new chapter for the label. The artwork and name 'DANCE 2017' is a reference to the feel of pioneering late 80s and early 90s house and techno compilations. The comp is delivered in a non-mixed format as well as a mixed format, with the duo mixing it live at The Pickle Factory, where the pair hold their monthly Secretsundaze - All Night Long residency, playing 8 hour sets each month.

After impressing with his debut album, 'Buy The Ticket, Take the Ride', on Tsuba last year, Magic Feet label boss Craig Bratley is back with a hot new EP on his own label that features tracks by Unisexl Audio Club, Beato Cozzi and the man himself.

Since 2014's LP release, Bratley has been remixed to great effect by Ewan Pearson and has continued to take his machine made, darkened disco sounds to clubs and festivals around Europe.

His sound is robust and analogue, has come out on labels like Andrew Weatherall's Bird Scarer and Is It Balearic and now for the first time arrives on his own Magic Feet, a label that has showcased sounds by Timothy J Fairplay, Antoni Maiovvi and Tommy Awards amongst others.

Up first here is Unisex Audio Club with 'Event Duality,' an elastic, low swinging, mid tempo track with frazzled synth lines, pixelated melodies and lots of dark energy. Flabby bass adds serious weight to this most arresting affair.

Beato Cozzi offers up 'Killer ', which comes on like a long forgotten Italo B-side, a chugging rework of a solitary 1990 chart hit that sounds all the more resplendent for its rainy alien melodies, extra visible and twinkling chords and invitingly laboured drums.

Then comes Bratley with the first of two cuts. 'Photons' is seven minutes of loose and lush house music with arcing pads, feel good chords and emotionally swollen melodies. It's the sort of breezy, al fresco tune that would sound great at a boat party and shows a more tender, vulnerable side to Bratley's work.

His second, 'Analogue Voodoo', is a slow and sparse affair where futuristic synth lines, apocalyptic drums and darkened spoken word snippets all conjure an unsettling, industrial mood. It's a fresh sounding cut that is destined to stand out on any dancefloor.

This is another fine offering from Magic Feet that offers disco lovers of all shapes and sizes something to explore and enjoy.

SAIFAM presents an exciting new triple CD series that traces the lounge sounds of three dream location: Formentera, Bali and Dubai. An exclusive product and collectibles, meant to be used in clubs, restaurants and other situations, lounge bar where you want to search for well-defined atmosphere that characterizes the various moments such as a particular event. 3 CDs for different moods: the first is lounge, the second is more lively, suitable for an "after-dinner", while the third is dedicated to the traditional sounds of the reference location. In total more than three hours of music for a complete and unique product in its form. This first volume is dedicated to Formentera, the chill island par excellence, with its baleariche sounds, immediately recognizable in the third CD (traditional), and with the typical percussive sounds of a dream island, recognizable in the second CD "groove" .

Dark Matters is proud to announce it's fourth release, Chromatic Dreams, courtesy of label boss Amirali. With his avant-garde concoction of electronica, techno and house, the EP is constructed of two original tracks and one remix; courtesy of Midnight Operator, the duo made up of Mathew Jonson and his brother, Nathan. This is Amirali's first sonic exercise on the label since the debut release, Fearful Stay.

The first track on the compilation "Chromatic Dreams" is skilfully executed, keeping the dark and psychedelic vibe that Dark Matters is becoming known for. It has dreamy vocals that echo with 80's synth and a drum pattern that is reminiscent of techno. The breakdown creates a whirlpool of different associations, the depth of the bass and stutter of the overlaying synths is a mesmerising mixture.

'Maladaptive Lover" is built on synth melodies that give the track a spacey vibe. David Bowie played a big part in Amirali's creative inspiration, this track is an eccentric ode to the space man, a modern and dark underground pop interpretation of Bowie's influences, the eccentric, the dreamy and the avant-garde.

Midnight Operator's remix of "Maladaptive Lover" reinvents the track, the most dance-floor ready cut of the EP. The dreamy energy, although maintained in the synth patterns is now much more intense. The melody drives forward and doesn't linger in self contemplation as Amirali's original tracks do. The vocals soar through the machine bleeps and faltering high end, tumbling into a crescendo.

The Dark Matters imprint is a cohesive experience where the weird and unusual is encouraged, aiming to push people to the edge of their comfort zones and keep them there. Aiming to stand out, this EP fits perfectly into the evolving compilation of releases from Dark Matters.

Chromatic Dreams is a tale about a soul who is trying to escape from a life he is currently living in; a psyche who is far from the place he prefers to be. The relationship between him and his life has lead him into a beautiful chaotic state.

NYC house legend DJ Basil teams up with Ron Trent and creates "Are You House" a pure dance floor track on Ron's own Future Vision label. TIP!
DJ Basil returns to the dance scene once again. Best remembered for his house classic "City Streets" (Nu Groove) as well as "All True African" and "Time To Be Free" (King Street Sounds), Basil adds a brand new gem to his catalog of music.

Days Gone By (part I) is the debut album by Dj Nejo, a music album House and Electronics in which the young Tuscan DJ tells time in a dual role: on one hand the atmosphere and mood, whereas" Sunshine Day "is not as predictable as it seems, on the other the interaction between past, present and future starring traces retro features like" Good Old days "along with two covers:" it's been awhile "Staind in an unpublished version Deep and "I will find you", a real hymn in the nineties that lives a whole new freshness clubs. Ork besides the enigmatic title is a song from the suspended atmospheres that refer to a Days Gone by part II already being written. produced by DJ Nejo and Gianni Bini, Days Gone by has numerous collaborations with important musicians: Sara Hollie, Majuri and Daniel Buralli vocals, Luca Signorini to Sax, Andrea Pellegrini keyboards and vocoder, Andrea Marianelli to Low, Bishop Alberto guitar and vocals.

Gravitational Waves forges ahead in what promises to be distinct form with the second release by the labels founder, the shadowy DJ Nephil. The EP features four moody stompers by this underground stalwart, with a remix from the phenomenally talented JASSS. All are for the roughest of venues, a foray into ominous soundscapes.

Swink Music Records are back with their latest vinyl release. SMR014 will showcase the talents of 2 producers who need no introduction. Manooz and Timmy P have been releasing some fine music over the past couple of years, both individually and separately and their latest collaboration, "Things You Do" is definitely no exception. This one has been in the works for a quite a while now and is definitely worth the wait as it finally drops with 2 heavy original tracks, "Things You Do" AND " Willie G".

The solid groove of Manooz & Timmy's first original track "Things You Do" is a built on a combination of a heavy rhythm, dub style bassline and cleverly programmed drums and percussion, creating a flawless flow to the track. The melodic element to the track comes from its evolving pad chords which rise throughout the track providing the perfect transition throughout the arrangement.Clever use of a processed spoken word sample re-introduces the track at the transition point of the main breakdown, adding the finishing touches to an overall no-frills roller.

The second original track "Willie G" provides a funkier element to the EP with a slick groove and bouncy sub bass working nicely with a piercing chord stab to create a really essential dancefloor joint. Evolving synth chords introduced throughout the track, cement the flow and take the track to the next level. Slick production and arrangement come together on this one and the result is a full on groover of a track ready to be unleashed.

Completing a really strong EP, Swink also drop a massive remix from French producer Fulbert, who provides his "Sakura Vibe" remix of "Things You Do". Fulbert takes the track in a completely new direction with his take on the original. Introducing a tougher element to the EP, Fulbert's remix brings a deep underground vibe with a rolling groove built on a combination of dusty drums samples, rolling percussion and haunting chord and vocal stabs. Slick use of transition, off beat drum programming, and an obscure arrangement result in an amazing version of the original track!

On Remix duties are UKG veterans Danny Foster and T Smoove (Underground Solution) who returned last year after a decade-long hiatus with a remix of their sublime 1999 single Release The Pressure. On the remix duties again they give Oli Furness' Back To Me the Underground Solution treatment - hard-hitting kicks, bumpy percussion and their signature sub heavy bassline.

The Divine Intervention EP is packing some serious heat and is a dance floor weapon ready to be launched!

After his release on MOC last year, Dudley Strangeways joins forces with Michael McLardy for their first joint EP on the label. Well known as the heads behind Leftback Records and frequent collaborators, they each contribute two original tracks in sheer concrete style.
Michael McLardy opens proceedings with Separation', a minimalist techno exploration that slowly builds up by the way of mechanical rolls and undulating synths. Kicking off with a playground noise sample, the bit fades away after the breakdown and is replaced with dark eerie guttural cuts, enhancing the overall gravity of the track. Another time' plays upon the same ambiental background sample, giving the piece a sense of familiarity. The build up, however, is loosely strung with ascending airy synths, while metallic percussion pads keep the groove grounded. McLardy manages to create an infinite sense of spaciousness that's cut off to an abrupt end, predicted only by a faint and hollow percussion lead.
Dudley Strangeways' first offering, Cast' is a moody slice of ambiental tech, with a slow pace aptly accentuated with piercing shrills and clangs. Hydra' takes us into the deep end of dark techno straight from the get-go with its pounding bassline. Crafted by layering minimalist yet memorable arrangement patterns, space is once again key. A classic piano lead makes its appearance halfway, giving the track an entirely new dimension and prolonging, yet never releasing the pent up pressure.

Reinterpretations by Chicago Skyway, G. Marcell, Ike Release, & Steven Tang who expand the the sessions w/deep & rhythmic tunes that will rock from warehouse to boats.

After three stunning, floor-fired EPs from the label boss himself, Deetron takes his burgeoning Character imprint to a whole new level of depth and diversity with old friends and new.

Ripperton takes the lead. Last spotted on Character on its inaugural outing alongside label bossman Deetron as Roots Panorama, he lays down an agelessly silky, star-lit groove that's progressive in its direction but soulful in its message thanks to some fine-tuned falsetto sprinkles. Complete with an equally luxurious instrumental, it's another example of Ripperton's own-league precision.

Dig deeper for three jazz-tinted adventures from longstanding musician, serial collaborator and serious soloist Carlos Nilmmns.

Collaboratively penned with his brother Niko Marks, 'Dark Ages' is a 3am whirlwind of blue lights and smoke machines. Perfectly positioned to be played in 1995, 2005 or 2015, it celebrates the most enduring elements of pure house music with deep, Detroit-focussed charm.

'A Beautiful Afternoon' follows, and reminds us of Carlos's 15 years pro musicianship stripes: Dusty, dreamy waves of pianos ebb and flow over a slim-line slinky percussive spine, rippling and reeling as woozy trumpets breeze in and out of the mix.

Finally Carlos rekindles his creative partnership with iconic 21st century poet and vocalist Keter Darker. Taking off where 'Universal Beauty' left us on Circus Company earlier this year, Carlos lays down a relentless jazz-licked jack while Keter's stern spoken word joins the dots, reminding us that the past is not so distant anymore... And the future needs to change.

Five tracks, a school of creative faces and lessons to be learnt; this EP documents a pivotal moment for Character. Essential listening.
