Having already issued a few cassettes via his own Harsh Riddims label as well as CGI's sister label DKA Records, Ryan Parks brings his Fit Of Body project to CGI for his debut 12" release. Here we are treated with two previously unreleased original cuts as well as Galcher Lustwerk and TWINS reworks of a pair of older tunes.


Fit Of Body's sound is unique among the current crop of bedroom dance producers in that it can ignite a dancefloor while still feeling deeply personal. This mood is enhanced by the way Parks colours his tracks with his own voice. His approach to adding live instrumentation to the arrangements lends a handmade delicacy otherwise lacking in so much hyper-quantized machine music. These are tracks that will feel at home in the DJ booth, your living room and your bedroom.

GLENN UNDERGROUND takes us on a TB303 journey with lush ambient chords & spacey rhythms on "BATTERY ACID" with an added raw dub edit on the flip. "MR HEARD" is a tribute to the Master Of House Music LARRY HEARD. Super limited (only 50 copies) advance color vinyl copies (in paper sleeves but with full color labels).

We are proud to announce the 1st exclusive vinyl release for the two producers from Tupiar Records & Agency of Romania. Adrian Dragut and Leonard Constantin make up the electrifying duo at the heart of the Nice 'n Trick' music project.

The two met years ago when organising parties for electronic music lovers, under the name Next Generation'. As their passion for electronic beats knows no limit, they have initiated themselves in the wonders of music production, creating an impressive collection of tracks faithful to the genre, some of which charted real high along the way in the digital industry.

After several years of committed effort, which involved studies in their chosen field of music, long sessions in the studio and many sleepless nights trying to integrate their own unique sounds into the underground techno music scene and propose a heady mix between the soul of techno and the irreverent expression of Romanian underground musicians.

First record for the label A-TUNE, by Ricky Montanari also known for his partecipation in the legendary releases signed by KEY TRONICS ENSEMBLE and RIVIERA TRAXX) and still one of the most famous dj Producers of the Italian riviera and mr Tone-on dj producer resident of 'Classic club" in Rimini.Two tracks, the first in house feeling with Onno remix and second more Hypnotic Manuele Di Lorenzo remix.

Last year, an enigmatic name seemed to appear out of thin-air. Sam Weston was apparently a fresh upstart in the Australian House-scene releasing a dusty collection of late-night/early-morning jams aptly titled Shiraz Voyager. With this rose-tinted house release in hand, Weston arrived on the scene and people took notice. The tape sold out within weeks.
Thing was, Sam Weston was not a fresh-face at all. He was here all along, although more commonly known as one half of influential Sydney techno duo - Alba. Lorded for their brand of live-fire robotic grooves, Alba became trailblazers in a town more Miami than Berlin, where brooding and rolling hypnosis weren't often preferred to fist pumping 'bangers'. Wanting to flex his lovin' spoonful of hypnotic lo-flung house, Weston decided to release a handful of edits on his Soundcloud. Immediate attention was conjured and Sam Weston released the aforementioned Shiraz Voyager EP to a pretty amazing response. Almost overnight, Australia had a new hero in Weston's warm compositions that summon memories of sunny days and happier times.
Reminiscent of the likes of Motor City Drum Ensemble, Moodymann and Theo Parish, Weston's productions harbour the laissez-faire energy of when house music meant something. When parties weren't regulated, kids danced all night long and cared more about what tune was coming in rather than how good they look.
Weston's follow-up EP, suitably titled Never Been In Love sees Sam at his powerful best. Armed with more confidence as a producer, the EP sees Weston's brand of left-field house re-emerge with a new emotional DNA running throughout.
The EP is split in two halves. The first, an exploration in isolation and longing, 'Never Been In Love PT II & III' present the listener with a soulful yet heady experience. The tracks build and bubble, stretch and wind in an exercise so clearly constructed with smoke-tinged dark corners in clubs in mind. The flip side presents the listener with a 13 minute opus titled 'Don't Save Face' pushes the aforementioned club constructs into something slightly more journey-like. Each composition is its own galaxy, its own world in which Weston invites the listener in and deeper layers present themselves with repeat listens.
For inspiration, Weston switched off both mentally and physically. Disillusioned with his hometown and hitting somewhat of a writer's block, he decided to up and leave Sydney and seek refuge in a far-remote area of South Australia where the vast desert meets the coastal landscape. By returning his listening habits back to the likes of Alice Coltrane and Mulatu Astatke, inspired by their rich improvisation and drawn out vamps, Weston's isolation of mind and soul is something that seeps through the EP. Throughout the Never Been In Love EP, Weston rethinks the common structures and forms of current electronic music, builds and deconstructs layers throughout the music, constantly re-evaluating what the purpose of each song, stanza or note is.
This EP is a producer finding his identity through house music.

"Not many artists collaborate with Fela Kuti's musical director Dele Sosimi on their first release but XOA did just that with "Aiye Le" on Shake in May. It sold out in less than a day and was premiered by Gilles Peterson, garnering radio play on every continent.The project, headed up by multi-instrumentalist Nick Tyson, fuses golden era 1970s Afrobeat with deep grooves and contemporary electronic productions sizzling with analogue synths, guitars and percussive rhythms.On ONE001 Tyson reveals the breadth of the project: the EP begins with a full band composition with sweeping guitar riffs and anthemic vocals from LeaLea; next up is Gil Scott-Heron-esque "Storm Windows" with a piercing reading by British-Trinidadian poet Anthony Joseph; the percussive "In So" with vocals from Monika Liu finishes the A-side. The B-side has club-orientated remixes from XOA, Orchards and rising US star Byron The Aquarius. "

Feel It In My Bones' sees the North London based producer channeling ancient voodoo magic, crafting a smokey, vintage, heavily percussive show stopper. Accompanied by the mysterious Zodiac on vocals, whose falsetto notes (when mixed with a saxophone solo in the light of the full moon) raise a relentlessly soulful and driving floor-filler from it's resting place deep beneath the ground. 'Dana's Groove' begins to summon spiritual visitors from dance floors throughout history for one last ghostly get down, before culminating in the soaring 'Memphis' bringing the vinyl to a uplifting yet haunting close.

AV1 builds a bridge between electro pop and club culture. Alix challenges the codes and references between old-house, 90's dance and new-wave and offers unapologetic dance music that takes the shape of hymns to nocturnal hedonism, to urban encounters and to the maze of inspiration, all while embracing humor and a sense of second degree.

The LP leads off with Friday Night in my Room, somewhere between a jazz-house piano and a playful and stubborn electro, in an extended club version, followed by a hypnotic deep house remix from Garance (Ayeko), soaked with exotic percussions. On the B side, Christian Stark (The Cruzaders / Los Cruzeiros) offers a deep sensual anthem with his "Flowers" remix and Se-Te-Ve (Plak/Gravitation) takes "You In The Dark" into his tribal house radicalism.

AV 1 is released on collective.ch, an independent Swiss electronic label, developed by Sylvain Ehringer (Xewin) and Alix Vesper.

Love Sexy Records' bossman DJ Raw Sugar dishes up another fine selection of his own gear for the label's second release. This one kicks off with the vibrantly smooth and smoothly vibrant "Eins Zwei Disco", a bouncy portion of future movement built upon a rubbery, logical bassline.

While Inkswel was on remix duty for the first release it is Voyeurhythm's Megadon Betamax who swings through this time to take the track up and beyond and somehow manages to add even more optimism and brightness to what was already a positive slice of future disco.

From there it's back to DJ Raw Sugar with the piano-dripping mid-afternoon burner of "Break It Down" and off-kilter beyond-the-grave ghost jazz of "Why Don't You".

Following up the project's first remix by Seth Troxler and Phil Moffa (LSOS), this newest remix installment features Fort Romeau and two new house mixes from Kate Simko herself.
Kate's 'Waiting Games' Club Mix features New York-based vocalist Amunet Shah, who first collaborated with Kate and Tevo Howard on their single 'Bring It' last year on Sasha's Last Night on Earth imprint. When Amunet sang over the duo's live set in Room 1 of fabric, she blew the roof off with her sultry live vocals and 80's style voguing. Amunet's raw New York style was the ideal fit to move the song from the concert hall to the underground club scene. Kate's reworks play around with the up-right bass hook, emotive harp, and strings teasers from the original, whilst tight drum programming and an irresistible groove keep this firmly in DC-10 terrace territory.
Fort Romeau's remix is a deep, dark, and beautiful melodic affair. Off the back of standout releases on Running Back, Spectral Sound, and Permanent Vacation, Fort delivers another cut of impeccable taste. His reworking of the original track is ex-quisite exercise in tension and release, featuring the original's baritone sax and flute, further demonstrating his unparalleled talent as an electronic producer of the highest caliber.
For over a decade now, Kate Simko has been one of dance music's standout artists. Her unique flavour of forward-thinking house music was welcomed onto the iconic Spectral Sound label, and since then her catalogue has grown to include releases on Get Physical, HelloRepeat, Leftroom, No.19, recent collaborations with Jamie Jones and Katy B, and an album on Sasha's Last Night On Earth imprint. An inimi-table blend of lush strings weaving in-and-out of synths and loose grooved beats, Kate Simko & London Electronic Orchestra's first single with Jamie Jones, 'One Time Game ft. Jem Cooke' was released last summer on Emerald City, and followed up in 2016 by two EP's and their debut self-titled album on The Vinyl Factory.
Kate Simko & London Electronic Orchestra have created a buzz with their genre-bending live sets at iTunes Festival, Boiler Room, Latitude Festival, HEART Ibiza, and Bestival, The group will be making their U.S. debut at Le Poisson Rouge on July 14 in New York.

His music keeps the raw edge of early UK electronic music, merged with his own sound that is often described as futuristic, lush and deep.
HEAL is the harder and darker of the two. Starting with a steady, monotone baseline and solid kick, we are soon immersed into a mind elevating arpeggiation and floating chords that take it to another level. PLIGHT is the more emotional of the two. It's a mixture of raw frustration with a splash of passion and love. Lush pads rain down from above, while we again feel that deep, dark undertone pushing through.

The A-Side gets things started with a chunky  kick lead beat and sizzling hats that instantly provide a rush of energy. FX sweeps and vocal splashes tease in the soulful hook before a huge saturated sub-bass drops into the track like a  bomb. Just as the tension rises to breaking point, relief comes in the form of a euphoric 90's house piano that cuts the tension and brings back the party mood. This is a track that brings dancers running and screaming for the bar to the floor!
 
U USED ME feat. Kristina Sheli
Here DILBY provides a significant contrast to the "hands in the air" vibe of TEARS, instead delivering a deep, emotional and musical club track. Opening with tight percussion and a heavy organ stab the track sets up perfectly to introduce the lush vocals of Kristina Sheli; a veteran singer who is as at home on the stage as she is in the studio. The beats and melody open up to make room for Kristina's melancholic and hypnotising vocal delivery. As the groove kicks back, a bouncy, melodic baseline emerges to push the track forward. While the track has a deeper felling than the A-Side, it certainly packs enough power and passion to demand a space in main room DJ sets.

Chicago's Peven Everett has long had a cult following for his own unique, live take on House music. Fusing the finest elements of Gospel, Soul, Funk and Disco his tracks have always had something that most other producers lack - originality! His music has crossed over many different genre barriers and has been supported by the widest selection of top DJ's for many years with his cuts becoming stone cold anthems in clubs across the globe.
"I can't believe I loved her" is one such track, a soulful piece lamenting a love that went wrong, the pain and disappointment are evident in Peven's voice and playing but the track remains utterly danceable, a real bomb! On it's original 2002 release the track was a huge club hit, pushing it into "classic" status. Both original mixes are featured here on this legit reissue, 100% sanctioned by King Street Records, NYC. Brought back for 2016, an evergreen deep House classic - Essential business!

Music For Dreams continue their high profile string of releases with this double album of dark pop brilliance from Danish newcomers Silent Riders. Apart from their names - Lu, Gee and C - little is known about this mysterious trio who wear masks during live performances. Emerging from some unknown murky world, materialising from the shadows in the woods, they have created a mythical sphere accessible only through their music - a vision of electronica that is organic and alive with both warmth and danger. Led by the sultry voice of Lu, we are drawn into the dark imaginings of the Silent Riders with almost cinematic brilliance as Gee and C man the machines that weave the atmospheric dronings of their world - a world that could be easily mistaken for one created by David Lynch or Tim Burton. The rhythms that form the path to this domain remind us along the way of previous travellers such as Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire or Tolouse Lowtrax. With the opening track "I See You", Silent Riders offer up a brilliant pop diamond combining all elements of their distinctive sound palette. Lu's soulful voice bounces off almost funky drum machines, all drenched in layers of dark analog ambience. On the lush "Copenhagen Dream", Lu channels a sense of brit-pop nonchalance into a political song about the state of her city. In contrast, "Being Afraid" sees the band in their hardest grittiest mode - with Lu reminiscent of PJ Harvey at her most moody and the slow groove behind her like a factory machine beating and releasing steam.  Other highlights include the chilling "Static" and the ethereal beauty of closing track "Falling" which sees the Riders in their most relaxed and dreamy state, and echoes the works of Portishead and Massive Attack. A stunning debut - limited vinyl release - don't miss.

After kicking off with a delightfully classy deep house EP from Chicago's Strong Souls, D3 Elements - the label run by the same person as Vibes And Pepper Records - offers up its second EP, The Black 3 EP.
This one comes from another forgotten Chicago producer who shouldn't have ever been forgotten. His name is Brian Harden and he hasn't released anything since 2005. Before then he was a regular on the influential Moods & Grooves label, as well as Relief and and was also a part of the Strictly Jaz Unit crew and Nite Life collective.
First up, 'Qunu' is a ping ponging affair with spritely drums and springy percussion that dance about like a cat on a hot tin roof. Golden pads and a hooky melody phrases bring warmth and colour and it's a refreshingly odd combination. A2 'Days of Days' is a more cerebral and deep affair with wholly lush chords, gentle ticking percussion than pans around the airwaves and a squelchy bassline scurrying about down below. Light and airy at the same time as being married to a compelling groove, it's a master class in genuinely musical house.
Finally, 'Chicago to Detroit' takes up the whole of the flip side. This one is a mix between the percussive drive of the first and the deeper grooves of the second: chords are woozy, drum hits are kinetic and the bulbous bassline sounds pleasingly drunk as it rides up and down of its own accord.
Once again D3 has unearthed some fantastic deep house sounds from a lesser-known producer that everyone should really know about.

For those who don't know, Cray76 is Joakim's alias under the Crowdspacer umbrella. A playground to explore his love of house and techno.
After the huge Servant and Master (released last year), Joakim's goes epic with Burning Inside, a deep and intense tune that turns wild mid-way through the track with one of the most massive lead/bassline we've heard in a long time. Some will find this reminescent of his hit remix of Camino Del Sol. There's also a stripped down late night version that focuses on the hypnotic modular sequences. On the flip side, Slex brings together Industrial music, Techno and Terry Riley () for a unique dancefloor psychedelic trip.

Ellen Allien's first release in 2015 is proving once again: the love of music is still the best drug on earth. Since euphoria can turn into ecstasy by sharing this love in high sprits on the floor, her 11-minute trip - High' is dedicated to the dancing crowd. Everything's built subtle and hypnotic here: from the pushing bass to the powerful ascending soundscapes of the Jupiter-8 to the lead vocal line - You make me feel so high'. The B-side is also about her typical way of exchanging energy: - Lou' is symbolizing the driving parts of Ellen's sets. During the 303 only tickles at first, the acid helixes soon are climbing up the trance sky. Listen. Feel. Space out.

"Hot City Orchestra - Metropolis" is the second release on self-titled label "Dora Brilliant" from the Frankfurt am Main based club Dora Brilliant. Hot City Orchestra is a reformation of a band, which was originally formed in 1998. At the age of 17, Arno Völker (Einzelkind) and Simon Birkenfeld became friends and started making Drum and Bass music together. They toured all over Germany with their Record Label and had residencies at Robert Johnson in Offenbach and Tanzhaus West in Frankfurt. After gaining years of experience within the breakbeat scene, Arno went on to become Einzelkind with releases on Playhouse, Cocoon, White and his own imprints La Peña, Jax and Pressure Traxx as well as worldwide DJ Gigs. Simon was still focusing on his breakbeat career for another year, making an album with a UK Drum and Bass legend, but it was never released. He stopped making music and started focusing on his career in PR and Marketing, where he mostly worked on music and art projects. During this time, the long-time friends Arno and Simon came up with the idea to launch the blog-network-project disco-very. Now, 16 years later, after making first beats together, the boys are back! A tiny bit older, much wiser, more handsome and around 50 BPM slower. After the huge success with their first release "Makula" on La Peña, which was heavily played by Ricardo Villalobos last year, the two boys are back with some more extraordinary material.

Opilec Music is back with another treasure trove of music that outlines how important Turin and the Piedmont area was to the development of electronic and dance music in the 70s and 80s and beyond. This compilation has been expertly put together by Opilec Music boss, I-Robots, from his own experiences as a DJ and collector and from time spent digging in archives, old collections and anywhere else he could. It marks the start of a new series and is the latest in a long line of such projects he has worked on before now. The 2 x CD package will be supported by a big launch event in November at The Beach in Turin, and features fine artwork depicting the Monorail Alweg issued from the Photo Archives of the City Of Turin. This expansive collection makes for a fascinating musical story and proves that in the 70s and 80s, the influences of Afro-American music and Kraftwerk electronics as well as Krautrock massively stimulated artists from Piedmont, who in turn began to influence the entire national scene with what would be then called ltalo disco, only for it later to turn into Chicago house and Detroit techno over in the US.
