Politics Of Dancing Records returns with two fresh tunes from the hot french duo Two Diggers. Hanfry Martinez and label bosses Politics Of Dancing are on the remix duty. "El Amanecer" is groovy as hell with a bouncy bassline and deep atmospheres. Politics Of Dancing turns it into a peak time track with a killer bassline. Get Some Music is a loop that goes straight to the head, with funky vocals. Hanfry Martinez delivers a stunning techy and dubby remix for some late night action. Another essential release from the parisian deep house imprint.

Jackie Brown enters New Year with new 12'' from El Nino Andres - a four track EP called She Understood Duke Ellington'.

As with his previous releases, Croatian producer offers his take on house music that's influenced by jazz, soul and funk. Drum machines, samplers and Anton's improvisations on his piano and Rhodes make for an EP of warm, melodic and groovy house music.

Everything is rounded up with amazing artwork from Maximilian Moser.

For Local Talk release nr 015 we definitely talking locally with a young, fresh and exciting Stockholm producer.
HNNY is mostly known (so far) for his amazing house take on Mariah Carey's 'I want to know what love is' which was released on fellow Stockholm label Studio Barnhus last year. For his debut on Local Talk he's pulled together three house gems that showcase a remarkable diversity in production quality. The first cut 'For The Very First Time' is already a big track in the Stockholm club scene and supported by the whole Studio Barnhus crew. The second track and possibly the most played track in the Local Talk office over the last months is the slightly old school 'Apricots'. It's all about the New Jersey organs and analogue basslines on this one. Proper feel good biz!
Last but not least HNNY delivers a +10 min long killer dj tool consisting of percussion and drums only. The track is called Trummor which in Swedish simply means drums.

LUnder the tablecloth of Steve Murphy and Die Roh first releases, Madi Grein has recently collaborated with Sagats (boss of Noho Records) for two exciting 90s flavoured EP for Housewax and Eat More House. Being a full time of the Riviera and the Vape/Vulcano projects, he can be considered without doubts a true ambassador of The Sound of Brenta.
'Mainly Love' is a truly dancefloor EP, raw and old-schoolish. Clean drums drive an hypnotic vocal hook on 'Mantide',sleaking a visceral dribbling bass. 'Express Yourself', has been heavily influenced from a short trip to London, as fast broken beats lurk under acid frequencies, soulful vocals and scattered piano fills. 'I´m feeling hot' is pure sweat for the dancers. Its remix Marieu (half of The Analogue Cops and boss of Restoration and EnlightenedWax) which closes the record with a reckless remix with strange guitars and mysterious alien samples.

More classic Burrell Bros AKA Octave One productions.
Originally released on Derrick May's Transmat during its golden era in 1990, this EP now sees a timely re issue on Octave One's own 430 West Recordings.Containing sultry vocals from Lisa Newbury and a remix from the one and only Juan Atkins.

4 classic Paul Johnson tracks on the Dance Mania imprint from 1995. Re mastered and officially repressed for 2016.

Ptaki take another journey with the Transatlantyk imprint to bring you the remixes of their well received debut album.
Alongside an unreleased dub from the 'Przelot' sessions, you'll find two great reworks here, both by contemporary heroes of the fast rising Polish House scene. The real gem here is Eltron's 10 minute version of 'Sloneczny Pyl', taking a whole A Side for a reason.
It's a straight up peak-time House banger destined for summer jam status. The catchy female vocal loop from the ambient original is surrounded here by a massive warm bassline running on a dubwise tip, layered tribal drums and percussions, and a few cisterns of raw, oily effects, guitar licks and pouring keyboard pads. And that enormous breakdown too...Eltron's trademark 'big room deep' vibe mixed with Ptaki's slice of sampled psychedelia created a track that's already a road-tested crowd favourite.
Das Komplex take on 'Ostatni Kurs' is no different in being amazing, although it's destined for a different time of the party. Cinematic atmosphere of the original is maintained and developed into Jazz-funkin' slice of slow House music.
Ptaki's melancholic samples are set together with island-like flavours of horn section, walking disco bassline and tons of sensimilla-infused effects.
Another great track from the most talented Polish newcomer.
Last but not least is 'Taniec Na Wodzie'. This dubby original brings you folky guitars, flutes, organs, synths and pianos working closely with hypnotic rhythm. Clocking at 63bpm, this one is for the afternoon at the beach.

A step into the future with the Berlin based Al Kassian's robotic disco EP. An ode to love lost. A vinyl release only instant summer classic. The 6th foray into the Love In Public Spaces world comes hot off the back of two 12s from Kasra V, and the launch of a new series of London intimate parties.

C Powers was raised in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He lives in Savannah, Georgia. He is resident DJ for "performance art drag collective" House Of Gunt. He has also been resident DJ at clubnights Cape Fear in Savannah, Hunger in Atlanta and No Pain In Pop in London. He works in a library and is cat dad to Peppers, Bucchi, and Baby D.

His releases include the Oysters EP for Proper Trax in 2015 and the Up Neck EP for CGI Records in 2014. He produced the single 'Crow' for the group 18+ (from their album Trust) as well as songs on their album Collect.

Fitness Check shows C Powers's experience as a DJ as well as his growth as a producer. From the drum programs to the arrangements, it's obvious that the EP was written and produced by someone who can work a dancefloor. On 'Wysh', which he says is an "exit reaction" to "morose and morbid" techno, subliminal speech and warped vocal stabs transition from centered to alert. On 'Fresco' he dices and scatters a song over loops of itself, a technique he calls "a grey area between sampling and editing...I break it up into bits, resequence that shit then stuff that shit back into the track."

Js may get even more service from the 'Wysh Key Beats' and 'Fresco Beatapella' versions, which give jacking rhythm tracks and sub-bass extra room to do their thing. The heavily dubbed 'Ask Less Kick Beats', lighter on drums but with a booming bassline, may prove useful as a set-opener or closer.

The EP has been mastered for club play by Helmut Erler at Dubplates & Mastering, Berlin.

Uruguayan/Argentinian Label based in Berlin and Barcelona, comes with it's first release.

A powerful three tracker by Uruguayans Jorge Gamarra and Omar, that goes from house to electro and everything in-between.

Roots For Bloom hits its tenth release and welcomes Carlos Sanchez & Alex Kaddour to the label. This EP is made for the floor, its no nonsense, groove based house music at its best. Tough basslines drive the A side Black Freddie's Moustache and echoey vocals stab through. On the flip the basslines remain at the forefront of your attention, but this time layered alongside more mysterious synth lines and twisted vocals. With previous releases on the likes of 8Bit and Poker Flat its easy to see why these guys will fit right in at the Roots For Bloom camp.

More raw, stripped back, jackin' Chicago sounds from deep within the vaults of DJ International

Chip E's seminal "Jack Trax" from 1985 is one of the most recognizable & loved records from the first wave of House & is an all time classic

Reissued in conjunction with the rights holders & Chip E.

"It's Time To Jack"

Canadian riviera artists Elka (ESB) and D.Tiffany (DJ Zozi) team up for a special edition split. Solid groove Detroit schooled house cuts meet sprawling dubby experiments. A colourful melange on offer for the heads.

Fast-rising Rebel queen Francesca Lombardo is back on Crosstown with her seductive new single 'What To Do' featuring remixes from Infinity Ink, Matrixxman and a Luca Cazal Dub. Showcasing Francesca's undeniable raw talent and pure, fluid vocal flair, 'What To Do' is another example of the producer's sublime song composition in an electronic framework. The sultry mood evoked by Francesca's voice wraps around the infectious melody as spooky ethereal tones rise and fall with the subtly driving groove. Infinity Ink strip down the elements with mechanical precision, injecting some darker bass and a more solid kick. Matrixxman revels in the twilight zone and delivers an alternative trippy tapestry of jagged synth stabs and melodic bleeps with only waves of the vocal. Luca Cazal's Dub is a perfect late night builder with added sonic textures.

Francesca Lombardo has rapidly become one exceptionally in-demand lady on the scene. Fully inaugurated into the Rebels camp, the Italian London based DJ/producer and classically trained vocalist released her first two highly acclaimed 'Changes' and 'Eyes Of Nature' EPs on Crosstown Rebels and is gearing up for a debut album release on the label next year plus a much coveted appearance on the Rebel Heart stage at Burning Man 2013. Francesca also recently debuted in the Boiler Room with a magical live set, coming soon.

Infinity Ink is London/Ibiza based duo Ali Love and Luca C (the latter of which delivers the dub for this package). Infinity Ink have been taking over dancefloors and the air waves under various guises, delivering last year's summer anthem 'Infinity' on Crosstown Rebels and also 'Benediction' and 'Reverse Skydiving' as part of super house group Hot Natured.

Charles McCloud Duff aka Matrixxman is purportedly a man trapped in a realm of unending 3D avatars roaming lost amongst dystopian digital wastelands. Matrixxman's debut EP 'The XX Files' received critical acclaim from Pitchfork, The Fader, Spin and Fact Magazine while garnering support from the likes of Damian Lazarus, Jeff Mills, Josh Wink, Boris of Ostgut Ton, Trevino and Dubfire. His own imprint Soo Wavey is a purveyor of brutally futuristic interpretations of classic WBMX era Chicago house and Detroit techno.

Gorgon City have catapulted their way to fame since the duo formed in 2012. Taking a break from their Black Butter home, Damian Lazarus welcomes them to his Crosstown Rebels label for the first time for 'Money', an atomic bomb of an EP bleeding with big moments.
David Morales lends his legendary Red Zone stamp, created in the early 90's for when the club was at it's peak, his high energy version of 'Money' creates a mind-bending state of mind. While Riva Starr, hot on the heels of his Cajual album, strips it back to the elements where we feel the blood of its veins.
Gorgon City will kick off their Ibiza residency on AMNESIA terrace this summer and in May they co-headline Central Park in NYC and Shrine in LA as part of a massive 5 date US tour. This EP is their calling card to the underground, leaving no doubt why NME named them the 'crème de la crème of new UK dance talent'

Dynamic UK duo Him_Self_Her are back on the essential Crosstown Rebels with another bumping deep house burner 'Love You Like I Used To' once again featuring the distinctive vocal chops of Kieran Fowkes who also appeared on previous Crosstown hit 'Gone Too Long' (which spent 11 weeks at the top of the Beatport chart). Featuring a tough and distorted remix from hot property Francesca Lombardo and the driving cosmic force of UK disco darlings Psychemagik on the flip, this is a house track for the peak season of al fresco hands-in-the-air dancefloors.

Claire and Leon aka Him_Self_Her have been producing together since 2012 when they hit it off on a musical level during their formative time on the local house scene in Leicester. All that it took was one studio session to realise the potency of their union and their genre blending productions showcase a range of deep grooves and disco infused techno with a human heart. With their breakthrough release 'Gone Too Long' sparking the attention of none other than Pete Tong, he promptly made it his Essential New Tune and support followed from heavyweight DJs such as Jamie Jones. Next releases came on Elite Records and OFF Recordings.

The classically trained, multi-talented Francesca Lombardo is one of the most successful artists of this era on Crosstown Rebels and with several shimmering releases for the label including 'What To Do' and the 'Changes EP', Francesca has amassed a sizable global following, entranced by her live instrumentation and vocal performances alongside the Rebels at events such as Get Lost and Day Zero, as well as the worlds dance music meccas DC10, fabric and Panorama Bar.

Undoubtedly two of the biggest stars of 2012, Danny McLewin and Tom Coveney aka Psychemagik are partly known for their prolific output of remixes but first appeared on Crosstown Rebels with a killer original release 'Black Noir Schwarz' back in March. Avid vinyl collectors and masters of the re-edit, the duo has released an impressive array of highly acclaimed releases as well as highly-lauded compilations, such as the self-released 'Diabolical Synthetic Fantasia' and last years superb 'Magik Sunrise'.

Over the years Jim Coles has turned his hand to a fair few different styles and made them his own. These days, most know his Om Unit alias as a significant force in fresh developments within D&B (recently found larking about with Alix Perez, Binga and more in the Richie Brains project on Exit Records), but it's not always been that way. From initial moves in the dubstep world via Terrorhythm through to shimmering, playful electro-leaning business on Civil Music, he's graced plenty of high profile labels with his many-sided musical dice and come up trumps. A personal favourite moment for us came in the shape of the All City 7" Lavender / Lightgrids in 2010, which matched Jim's knack for rich and detailed production to a slower, more contemplative groove. This new release for Idle Hands comes from that era, a trio of secret weapons sat waiting for the opportune moment to step out into the world. With the warmer months upon us, it feels like the perfect time to let a track like "Friend Of The Day" roll out in a heavy-lidded haze of sun-kissed, ivory-tinkled finery. This being Om Unit, of course there are different shades on offer here as well. "Basement Superman" plumbs aqueous depths with its appropriation of dub techno tropes in a slow-stepping, meditative framework. "What It Is" too revels in introspection, a laconic bassline loping jauntily against the feathery beat in a succinct encapsulation of Bristolian laissez-faire. Jim's current exploits are reaching ever more interesting pastures, and there's an increasing recognition of his past achievements too (check the Kutmah-curated Lost Stories collection of unreleased 2tall bits from his archives), so it's a pleasure to add to the movement and support some truly special gems from a long time friend of the shop.

Truesoul Records are proud to announce the release of 'Let Your Soul Outside', the debut album from Reset Robot in April 2014.

Behind the Reset Robot project is Dave Robertson, a producer who has released standout singles on labels like Dogmatik, Intacto and Adam Beyer's Truesoul imprint over the past 5 years. Now he steps up with his debut album, the stunning 'Let Your Soul Outside'.

The LP was written at Reset Robot's home studio in Portsmouth and is an album of fascinating textures inspired by "all the music I listen to and love!" says the producer himself. "I've wanted to do this for a long time and all of a sudden I had 8 or 9 tracks together which were a little bit different. I added a few more and asked a close friend, Tom Powell from Mister Woo, to add vocals to a couple of them and it was ready."

The result is a full length that touches on many different moods and emotions, starting with the melodically soothing tech funk of 'Guitar Man'. Tracks like 'Little Alice' then pick up the momentum thanks to slick beats and crisp percussion and 'Sizzler' introduces a soulful vocal element over more tortured sounding, synth-laden grooves.

It's not all full on dancefloor material though, with tracks like 'Desi Beats' it allows you a little time to breath thanks to their more widescreen and laidback vibe, whilst 'Sausage' strikes a truly emotive pose that has your thoughts turning inwards.

With this album Reset Robot proves both his range and his dexterity - no two tracks sound the same, and instead the Portsmouth producer explores every nook and cranny with a fine attention to detail that really makes the whole thing sing. 'Let Your Soul Outside' is a stellar achievement.

Skirting the bleeding edge of American dance music, proving without a doubt that he's mastered his own minimal sound. Lean, hypnotic, & syncopated, & dedicated to 2 parties he played in Ohio in '15, In Training (Cleveland) & Midwest Fresh (Columbus).

Despite his artist name and his trademark sound, Steve Murphy does not come from Chicago, but from Mira, a little town on the suburban area of Venice.

Steve has been djing since 2001, and in the past years has been rocking almost every club in his region. He is serious and professional behind the decks: playing only with vinyl, he blends electro and house, techno and new wave, acid madness and pop appeal.

Steve has produced together with Die Roh an album ("The Chasm") and one e.p ("Windy City") on Chiwax, and a solo 10" ("Planet Earth") on Rawax, these records have quickly gone out of stock and that have been acclaimed by the lovers of the classic Warehouse sounds.

In 2012 he has started the Riviera project and has founded the Muscle Records label, together with Lucretio, Dj Octopus, Caio, Madì Grein and Chevel. The label is a facility to spread what has been called "the sound of Brenta": a raw, nasty, machines powered clash of house and techno. In 2012 he also released "The Dove Ultimatum" on Vae Victis Records, under the moniker of Durant: an unfriendly 12" of distorted electro and funky acid beats produced with Die Roh and Lucretio.

Argo Repress !

Chicago-based producer's most fully realized work to date, weaving live orchestration & irresistible synth lines through tough percussive frames. A great leap forward from the sample-clad disco house of her previous records.

Pure interstellar techno tracks from the most remote west coast of Europe by the talented John Daly and Frawl. Killer release on this new label which John Daly started after closing the One Track series. First release sold out straight away and this one isnt of any lesser quality! Pure techno of the finest quality. Million dollar what. TIP!

We're really excited to be able to put one of our favourite ever WotNot releases to wax. It's a release that makes us particularly proud as we convinced K15 to let one of his house tracks out of the archive for the first time ever, as well as securing one of the few tracks to have been heard from up-and-coming wunderkind Glenn Kelly (Jeeks),before he retired early from the circuit.
Four years after it dropped digitally, featured artists K15 and IMYRMIND have become household names, releasing music with Eglo, Wild Oats,Tartelet and Money $ex Records among others.
This re-release also includes a new track from SexRulesEverything who also featured on the original release. The tracks on this EP still stand strong, and the vinyl drops alongside the release of Dancefloor Sweets Vol. 2, with more to come in 2017

Having dabbled with lower tempos of house and techno in recent years on his Exit Records imprint and Convex Industries, dBridge's
4/4 alter ego 'Vevit' presents his debut EP for Electric Minds in the form of the 'Nudge EP' - where two varied cuts display his tactful
use of restraint and release for club tools which, if put in the right hands, can alter the state of play on the dancefloor.
The EP's lead offering 'Nudge' explores the dubbier regions of techno with vocal sample snippets prominent throughout that are
coupled with boisterous kick drums that give the track ample space to breathe. His focus on clinical drum programming and delayed
chords are skilfully here as they patiently ebb and flow throughout the entirety of the track's dramatic six-minute duration. On the b-
side he showcases his slightly more up-tempo sensibilities with quietly electrifying number 'The Act' which sees him turn up the
accomplished Electric Minds debut.

Alex Sander Berlin Dj- and Label owner (Kill A Beat Records) does his next job on ECLAIRE THE HEART.
In "Music be my Lover" Alex Sander combines a fusion of special electronic sounds and elements of the 80's and 90's with interesting and exciting new rhythms of today.
This is Deep House that will certainly climb the charts and fill every dance floor.
The voice belongs to Lamont Prince, a singer and producer from Washington, DC. His singing style combines the roots of Gospel with elements of Art Rock. The amazing remixes come from Patty Kay, Boy Next Door and Samuel Fach.

After releasing three EP's in 2014 to great feedbacks such as 'standing up house music label', this January 2015 'Sound Of Vast' is about to hit its 4th release with an even greater selection and range of house music.
This new EP has a very unique sound, which is the result of Sierra Sam and Pascal Hetzel - two of Berlins most talented music producers - collaborating to make something a bit
different from their usual style. They 'wanted to make something dirty but organic'.

Both tracks 'Antennae' and 'Wild Things' could be described as very much acidic and raw. Their well built-up drum machine skills are perfectly combined with dirty and heavy acid synth sounds. Emotional melodies which emerge during the middle of the tracks make them even more exciting and involving. Truly the babies of passion and experimentation.

The third track, 'Fiction 2015', is a more typical 'Sound Of vast' style of track, that can deliver the right mood on the dance floor with solid drum beats and a futuristic synth,
combining the soul of old and new.

Tino Venditti is back on Metropolitan with a huge track! After the good feedbacks of "Let The Music Take Control" and "Against The War", he presents a new single from the sound of his "One Night" called Bassa Frequenza! The Original is a funky bomb with massive sinth and quality vocal, while on A2 we can listen the great work of a great new entry: Dayne S from Off Recordings, Noir and Suara! On B1 there is a remix by Mattei & Omich for a tech-floor, while on B2 Metropolitan is proud to present the second new entry: James Vorres from Sccucci Manucci ------> 100% Uk Garage Sounds! Limited Copies!
