House Vinyl New Releases - News

For his first solo release after more than 2 years, "Mr. OFF Recordings" Andre Crom presents "The Devil".

Featuring an eerie spoken word vocal by Thomas Gandey based on a Tarot Game, the instrumental is a true dancefloor anthem with hypnotizing arpeggiated analog bassline reminiscing of italo disco, tech drums and synth arrangement. Everything flows together into a devilish spoken word breakdown where pads take over and hell breaks loose.

This is undoubtely one that is gonna be heard both in big rooms and festivals around, and a great example of the modern direction OFF 2015 is heading to.

proper house sublabel from the Organic Music stable, 180gr vinyl

The third EP from the Yappin' label boss, straight outta Offenbach, with three cuts of hypnotic, low-bit shenanigans to bring any pot to the boil.

Contaminated chords, strait-jacket rhythms and gravelly drum-kits, can't get enough of your Love Unlimited

Yet another stellar selection of cuts from the King Street / Kerri Chandler vaults! As always we've dug deep to select the best music from a true underground House hero. Featured on this EP you'll find - "It's You" a slamming classic from 2003's "Trionisphere" double LP, a straight up swinging club track for the heads in true KC fashion! Also featured is the soulful, seductive, deep groove of "My Paradise (Paradise 623 Mix)" lifted off Kerri's "Trionisphere IV" EP from 2002. On the flip we're treated to 2 more heavyweight selections, "Hallelujah (Kaoz 6:23 Gospel Mix)" kicks off the b-side with it's stripped back Garage-gospel rawness, a surefire tip from 1996 for any dancefloor! Finishing things off is "So Let The Wind Come (Original Mix)", a dubby, techno-ish monster featuring the man's legendary chord stabs and heavy drums, classic Chandler! Another fine selection of music from one of House musics most beloved sons - Essential for heads and newbies alike!

small repress!

Frankfurts label eMBI Music calls on the inimitable talents of Italian Marco Cassanelli, who really delivers on the 4-tracker that is the Adub EP.
A smart and atmospheric minimal jaunt, the original takes the breadth away thanks to its unrelenting persuasion and its penchant for the unpredictable.
''Cushion'' is another spiky, metallic number whereby the ambiance plays another key role, while Fluxion's remix of Adub is full of weighty low-end signals and intricate synth work.

A legend to those who know, Todd Sines makes his first appearance on Circus Company in a fit of sharp-edged, wildly expressive house music that harks back to the unhinged early days of the label. Sines has a career that stretches back to the early 90s, having released lauded records under the .xtrak moniker on Peacefrog and 7th City amongst other legendary labels. Under his own name he has delivered equally timeless material on Planet E, Frankie and Morris Audio, but still this summary barely scratches the surface of an artist with a groove so distinctive it would futile to attempt an imitation. A key facet of Sines' material is his ability to match a vivid, futuristic sound palette with a very human soul, and this is no more apparent than on Blowing. The title track alone throws down a challenge to any selector as a bugging line in off-kilter drums and tweaked out synth lines rub up against an utterly soulful vocal turn from Robert Owens in a true definition of 21st century funk. Originally written by Charles Webster, Sines has taken the foundations of the track and twisted it into a shape all of his own. Elsewhere the mood takes a deeper turn, as "Deserted", "Cave" and "Recover" all plunge into a vision of deep house that retains the emotion while pushing the rhythms into exciting, psychedelic new territory. Even if the tracks go very far out indeed, there's always a tangible beat to hold on to, testing the nerve of the play-it-safe DJ while giving musical explorers music as accessible as it is challenging. While there may be shards of experimentation flying out of these tracks at every angle, the warmth in between the unusual shapes makes Sines' music so very easy on the airs in the same breath.

Killer tracks from mr Tommy Vicari Jnr, vinyl only stuff

Spell PETS backwards to get STEP. Spell STEP forwards and you get PETS going back to basics. STEP is the new vinyl-only label from the founders of PETS " Catz n Dogz" with a focus on the rawest forms and root functions of dance music. STEP searches for the fundamentals with under-theradar house and techno that's not afraid to be rough around the edges. It's all about the music.

What's on HELP008 Mainly music from the Arhus-boy DJ Sports. It's sort of a debut, but Sports has released a bunch of tracks on Regelbau and Help over the past years, solo + with his groups Maizena, Sportscentral and Lester. This young sensible producer initiates the release with the breaky (Hidden Sh'paerz) that has a cool piano. Next another leftwing original from Sports. This one, with its flute, breakbeat, confident synth chords and beautiful minor nature is a favourite of Mr. Sports Parents. 'This one is our favorite', his parents. If we haven't lost you so far, the flipside contains a Timeman Dance Version with more danceability, hook and playing time than the original version of 'The Bridge' that was released on the tape 'Sportscentral'. Last but not least you get an alternative version of that get-in-touch-with-your-inner-passion/synthesizer-melody-rythmical-ambient-track 'Mindless Turns', that also originally appeared on the aforementioned tape. We hope you'll like our new record, that, if on repeat, might provide you hours and hours of by-yourself enjoyment.

This new Release continues on the contemporary journey that explores the expanding collaborations between members of TTUSOR and new DJ's/Producers. VIBR 007 features acclaimed Italian cool DJ & Producer Joy Kitikonti, and TTUSOR member, Stefano Di Carlo.BEAUTIFUL EYES is an exquisite combination of progressive pop melodies merged with fundamental, elegant house atmospheres & beat.
This record is dedicated to Mauro Tannino.

Diynamic's sister label 2DIY4 is delighted to add a talented new artist to the ranks in the form of Lehar, their latest addition to the artist roster. He serves up one great original that is accompanied by two on point remixes from Musumeci and Peter Pardeike to complete a tidy package. Italian Lehar makes music that is romantic and carefully composed. He has a sublime sense of mood and groove and has released twice on Offenbach imprint Connaisseur Recordings. Here he serves up more slick bass and intriguing melodies and continues to turn heads as a result.
His original track 'Number One Hero' is truly emotive, with delicate synth melodies and warm, lush chords adding heartfelt vibes to the punchy drums. Dreamy vocals drift up top and lend the whole thing a sense of forlorn emotion that doesn't come along too often in dance music. This beautiful track is sure to make for some magical moments whenever it is played.
The first remix from Italian pal Musumeci, who runs his own Engrave LTD label and gets support from Dixon and Ame amongst others, is much more stripped back and reworks the track into a broody, rubbery, fulsome house cut for backrooms and late night hours. It is a real spine tingler before Peter Pardeike (a Cologne based producer and live act who has often worked with Marcus Worgull) goes just as deep. His angelic pads add a sense of elegance to the groove as it rolls on and on. When the tender vocals come in, it truly sets the track off and marks another fine release for 2DIY4.

With releases on Rush Hour, Mister Saturday Night and Delusions of Grandeur, Nebraska is a man who needs little introduction. Here, he delivers and amazing EP for Heist, showcasing his talent for finding those catchy, but hard to pin-down samples. The 'Soften the wireless EP' navigates nicely between disco and house with 4 originals and an amazing Tom Noble remix. Khan's bargain will be the go to track the more disco minded listeners out there, with a catchy-as-hell synth line that you wish you'd made up yourself. The remix, courtesy of NYC's finest disco selector Tom Noble, goes on a clubbier path, turning the silky smooth original into a distorted house jam full of delays and filtered drums. The B-side sees Nebraska turning towards the housier side of things himself, with The blues' as a perfect example of minimalistic house. Here, he uses only a small amount of elements to create an intoxicating and intense groove. It won't be long' breezes through with a lighthearted arpeggio and some lovely dreamy vocals to set a more emotional vibe. EP closing track (digi only) Varkala is somewhat of a special track, being dug up from an old hard disc and remastered for your listening pleasure. Sincerely yours, Lars & Maarten

next record from old dirty dessau comes from laubenpiepers labelhead @oliverbernstein himself. its a fivetracker with a dope remix from our friend @siggatunez and an extra slow collaboration with our man @kabovsky on the flipside. for shure the record is more the sunrise stuff but will work in dark clubs as well.

Deep and moody House excursions.

CoastDream from Brazil is the third artist on the Deeptrax label. Again a full 4 track EP, with these raw massive beats over a 90's feel, ecstatic house landscape which has that totally unique, beautiful naive and devastating dancefloor destruction factor.

CVO (GLENN UNDERGROUND) travels on a sonic journey and returns as his old PEACEFROG/DEFENDER self. The A-side is a spiritual music journey influenced by LARRY HEARD. "SUMMER OF LOVE" on the B-side is a uniquely constructed acid composition only CVO could do! On STRICTLY JAZ UNIT

Tokyo's Yoshinori Hayashi makes his debut on Lovers Rock with Asylum,' an EP of deliciously bent avant-house and free jazz-esque voyages. Hayashi has been making a name for himself as a formidable studio talent, and on Asylum' he offers some of his finest work to date. Agent Dissolving Device' welds louche narration, kaleidoscopic atmospheres and an energized girl-group hook to an earworm groove. An invaluable tool for adventurous DJs, so wrong it's right' doesn't begin to describe it. Meanwhile, the b-side is given over to Hayashi's more sombre, quasi-chamber music leanings. Burrow' and The Old Man' both use wheezing, wandering piano figures to articulate a mournful, bleary-eyed beauty that seems to flicker in the shadows of the a-side's extroversion.

Paris' prodigal son Djebali returns with this bumper collection of music, curated and compiled to showcase some of his finest work
in digital format for the very first time. Ever since he launched his own label, ( djebali ), the young talent has focused solely on
representing his sound through vinyl. With Ideal Juice, named after his popular residency at the legendary Rex Club, Djebali gives his fans the chance to own specially edited digital versions of material from his back catalogue. Each track is shorter than the vinyl original, so that both digital customers and the vinyl lovers both have exclusive versions of the tunes.
Kicking off with 'Ideal Juice', a late night groover full of soul and funk, Djebali's ability to construct captivating jams that represent the true house sound is evident throughout the compilation. 'Urban Posture' channels that gritty street flavour that can only be found in New York, with smooth, jazzy timbres. 'This Ultimate Dare' is bouncy, infectious and flows effortlessly like a picturesque waterfall. Track four, 'Sakura Park' lures us into the deepness, enveloping us with its mystical atmosphere and thick, jaunty bassline. After that 'Original Rude Boy' ups the pace, coming at you with a killer low end and vibrant pads giving the track a bright outlook. The sixth track, 'Bezbar', turns things a little bit weird. Djebali's distinctive groove is still there, but intertwined with layers of odd filtered
, oily sounds and reversed chimes. 'Hunting Back' epitomises Djebali's ability to create simple, yet detailed and highly effective house cuts full of life. A beauty.
After that, 'Juicy Street' turns things a little bit sleazy, with a morose bassline, crisp beats and minimal composition. Penultimate track 'This Thing For Wil' swings the clock and hypnotises us with its repetitive rhythm and the final entry in this superlative collection of work, 'Seven Cells', gets cosmic with its animated bleeps and swirling pads.
And there we have it, 10 classy joints from one of Paris' shining stars all released digitally for the very first time. Essential!

Raw machine funk from an intergalactic mind - Hakim Murphy brings us two contrasting sides of classic analog jams, Chicago style. On the A-side, 'Toms From Space' and 'Bgstyle' both have a melodic nostalgia, the former with pads and drum accents that are almost conversational, the latter's ringing synth lines cleaving more to the Jamal Moss school of machines-gone-wild, but still in an introspective mood. The B-side is a heavier affair, 'StompsB' coming at you with a barrage of snares, claps and toms that will tickle the more adventurous dancers out there. By 'TF3_2' the machines are in pure revolt, battery draining and sounds escaping in fits and starts - avant-garde chicago house, no questions asked.

Lany Recordings, now six years old, has been a home and a stepping stone for many of scene's biggest rising stars. Think Kolombo, Tube & Berger, Larse, San Soda.
We are happy to keep following this path, and working with young and local talents, alongside some of our oldest friends.

For this new release, we're very excited to welcome a great new talent from Ghent: Sue Avenue. Together with fellow Ghentians Stavroz, responsible for an absolute killer remix, they helped creating a new and refreshing, yet timeless and ripe deep house sound. Together with the label's founding father, Maxim Lany, they picked their very best tracks, in order to compose the perfect ep. This EP is nothing less than a celebration of the family-feeling that has been created around the label over the past few years. The best externalization of this feeling is the deep friendship between Maxim Lany and Ante Perry, the label's closest friend and support since day one.

...aaaand we're back. It's taken us a little longer than it should have to get this third release together, but OH MY was it worth the wait. We've rounded up a few of our favourite oddballs to construct the first 2Sox compilation release, aptly titled OddSox Vol. 1'.

TELESKOP starts us off on a rampant 7500 light year joyride to neighbouring star system Eta Carinae, with a tune as dazzling and potentially volatile as the place itself. We've loved this tune since first listen. No rest for the elbows.

Tom Churchill is one half of The Nuclear Family and former boss man at the much lauded experimental electronic dance labels Headspace and Emoticon. Relax into our interstellar voyage with his melodic groover Sidetracked (Remix) and feel the glide with sumptuous pads and piano.

On remix duties we have another Glasgow boy Sparky has recently been lighting up the globe with his expertly crafted releases for the mighty Numbers and Optimo Trax labels. Taking on TELESKOP's tune, he twists the groove and injects a dose of fear into the cosmic space ride as we approach the nebula. A pleasure to have his touch on this release.

2Sox co-boss and recent entrant into the CHURCH Records camp, Debukas takes us in for landing, rewarding our safe passage with his self-styled 'Cantina Band', Live Sox Show.

Very early support from the keen ears of Jackmaster, Mark Archer, Dominic Capello, Fabrice Lig and Red Rackem....

Adonis 'We're Rocking Down The House' re issued and re mastered for 2014. Released in conjunction with Trax in original 1986 artwork.

Enigmatic Berlinbased producer Algorythm provides the debut release on the new vinyl imprint Neptune Records this November. Initiating the package, stuttering percussion and echoing effects form the deep and mesmerising 'Santos Express'. Syncopated rhythms and thudding bass hits then make up 'LFO' as twinkling melodies work their magic, before 'Bird Cage' introduces soaring chords and tranquil notes. Tying things together, thudding kicks and snappy snares drive 'Omar's Deli' forward as various layers of
serene synths and pads are blended together.
