Marcello Napoletano - Ra Toth And The Brigantes Orchestra Introspettivo Ep
BH025
Berceuse Heroique
12inch01.02.201601.FEB.16

HouseDeepDetroit

Out of all the twelves by MN on Jamal Moss' Mathematics label, maybe the most outstanding goes under the name Ra Toth — and true to form this is double-sided trumps for BH, slapping together bad-minded, cosmic jazz and banging, bruk-up disco. The A sounds like a young Pete Rock giving Theo a hand with some Dirty Edits; the flip like a blend of evilous Arkestra and prime Innerzone Orchestra.

HouseDeepMinimalTech

Reissue of SOBOs inaugural release from Patrick Holland (fka Project Pablo), for the first time featuring the live version of the breakout single "Closer". Montreal's Beaubien Ouest can cause quite the daze in the heat of Summer, so stepping out of the bedroom into the shed made all the difference for Holland. Live-off-the- floor takes with pals Rory Seydel (on guitar) and Jeremy Dabrowski (on the bass) can be heard on the title track, whereas freaked-out Dx7 melodies and harmonies makeup Royal Plus and Closer. An homage to ones home and its dreamlike qualities, as well as a practice in call and response.

Middleburough lads Aaron Turner and Tom Brown make their return to 1080p as Perfume Advert, following up what I must say was one of the breakthrough early cassette releases of the label ('Tulpa', from back in 2013) with a vivid and kinetic wash of tech-house and and deeply-layered house—extremely heavy night-drive vibes and more abstracted mesmeric feelings lit with pulsating textures and their distinctly murky cosmics.

HouseDeepNu Disco

Philipp Stoya is back on Compost Black with a bunch of fantastic tunes, a hypnotic trip with deep analogue playfulness and elegance.
It's a story of dedication, devotion and a whole lot of craziness.
The debut E.P of Philipp Stoya, who might be recognized from his appearances on some Various Artists - 12s on Compost Black Label, is a testimonial of love, his love to his wife, whose name is the EP's title, his love to music in general, giving birth to this record and his love to electric pianos and synths, such as the Fender Rhodes and the Roland Juno 106, which sounds give the tracks on the record an unique flair and atmosphere.

Meandyou returns with their fifth instalment, this time presenting the first solo EP by Matthew Mullane, aka Fabric, the Edition Mego and Spectrum Spool affiliate, and Meandyou mainstay.

Fabric's 'Curiosity Model EP' delivers more of the American producer's dubbed out and immersive electronics, in addition to a development towards the dance floor with the inclusion of 4/4 drum signatures.

Mullane has previously released an LP on Spectrum Spools, 'A Sort Of Radiance', and appeared on two various artist EPs for Meandyou. He has also recorded as Non Group, and is currently writing the liner notes for a vast Keiji Haino reissue series.'

Grant Dell - Forever Bob Ep
GIANT005

12inch09.05.201609.MAY.16

HouseDeepChicago

The Forever Bob EP is a requiem to Bob De Rosa by his long time close friends and collaborators Grant Dell, Terry Francis, Mark Allister and Faton Dolaku. These recordings draw on fond memories of their time spent with a man who lived for underground dance music and is rightly regarded as one of its true originators. As resident DJ at Heart & Soul from 1993, Bob set the benchmark for sonic excellence, helping to define the sound of the underground - acid and Chicago house flawlessly fused with techno and electro. And it wasn't just the music - the people that Bob helped to bring together, created a chemistry that kick started a whole movement. Whoop Whoop, Wiggle and countless other underground parties have grown an extended family tree. Along with Terry, Mark Allister and Grant, Bob took the sound and the spirit of the underground across London and down the South Coast. Touring Australia with Mr. C and crossing the USA with DIY in the nineties, Bob's deck talents won him the wider acclaim of an increasingly international audience. Gigs all over Europe followed, including regular appearances in Kosovo with Faton. A succession of releases with Grant on Uhuru Beats, Totem and Hooj Choons also brought recognition for his production skills. Facing a terminal condition, Bob continued to play and attend many of the events he and his legacy had inspired. He was still there supporting his mates, spreading positive vibes, peace love and happiness with a big beaming smile. From the outset, right up to the end, Bob De Rosa resolutely remained the heart, the soul and the pure spirit of the party. A1. Grant Dell's mix references the early Chicago house of the wide-eyed nights they spent together at Bob's Full House and Energy.

Mood Records
excl24.06.201524.JUN.15

HouseDeepTechnoDub

Moudaber goes deep.... Yes, our beloved MOOD leader returns home with her latest single and a track that may surprise some, as Nicole gets her Dub on.

Known for her fierce and electrifying prime time sets and powerful personal productions, Nicole is equally adept and at home building the floor and atmosphere from the very first beat. New single, Her Dub Material, is the perfect soundtrack for those early hours and takes influence from Nicole's love for deep, warm, fathomless bass. Mysterious and yet inviting, Her Dub Material is built upon an unswerving groove. Strong, elegant and hypnotic.

Staying true to the original whilst enticing with his own percussive flair is Argentinian producer Guti. Spanish sensation Marino Canal, fresh from his own full release on MOOD, mesmerises with his own steady tempo and synth laden breaks, before Alex Tepper closes the mix package by upping the ante further, whilst never losing the original's groove.

Steve O'sullivan Vs Kashawar / Titonton Duvante / Eric Cloutier - Mosaic Split Series: Part Two
MOSAICSPLIT02
Mosaic
12inch06.03.201406.MAR.14

HouseDeepChicago

"Mosaic Split Series kickstarts 2014 with three solid tracks of silky deepness that build upon the Mosaic sound of old whilst remaining firmly in the present. A: Steve O'Sullivan vs Kashawar "Take a Seat" Label boss, Steve O'Sullivan , follows up his recent Sushitech releases with this collaboration with young German producer Kashawar who has been gaining fans over the last year with his solidly atmospheric and funky EPs on Autoreply and Project London Records. Raw, slow old school house beats is the order of the day here with a sprinkling of melodic nu school deep techno touches that help to make this track perfect for both the warm up or after party. Just listen to the vocal sample if you have any doubts ... "Relax baby...Mr Big will take care of you in a minute." B1: Titonton Duvante "Such Good Taste" Despite an impressive back catalogue , including releases on Metamorphic, 7th City and Planet E , US techno veteran Titonton remains one of techno's best kept secrets and to say we are happy to welcome him to Mosaic is a massive understatement. Fusing the melodic edge of classical Detroit Techno with the jacking dancefloor intensity of Chicago, Titonton's "Such Good Taste," is a welcome addition to the Mosaic catalogue. ....the combination of kick drum and bassline alone are a thing of beauty... there is no way your ass won't move to this beast! B2: Eric Cloutier " Balsamaceous" Eric has made a name of himself over the last few years on the DJ circuit with sets that have been described as sprawling in depth and sophistication, fusing the brooding intensity of tripping techno with the mechanic funk of contemporary house. Thankfully for Mosaic his productions do the same! "Balsamaceous" is Eric's second release and showcases perfectly his unique take on the Detroit/Berlin Techno schooling he has obviously had: a deeply emotional yet hip wiggling take on the techno/house hybrid. This is one that will get the more discerning dancefloors shaking this year. Pure class is an understatement! "

Relish Recordings

HouseDeepElectroDiscoNu Disco

Robi Insinna aka Headman's Relish Recordings continues to forge in the past and brings you a collection of classic tracks reworked for today: Relish EP V including Unknown Cases, Units Dub by Headman, Gina X Red Axes version and Headman's original 2003 Dub. First up is Headman's version of Masimbabele by The Unknown Cases. The original track has been performed and recorded 25 years ago and was originally released as a 12" single by RoughTrade. Members were Cologne musicians Helmut Zerlett and Stefan Krachten (disciples and regular collaborators of the CAN musicians) and legendary African percussionist REEBOP KWAKU BAAH and it has actually been mixed at CAN STUDIO in Cologne. Masimbabele was originally regarded as "a modern form of rhythm'n'blues" in the original 1983 Rough Trade promotion info - since nobody involved had heard anything like that before....no surprise it became one of John Peel's favourite records of the early 80s and one of his most played singles in 1983. it became since an Afrobeat classic! it was also Remixed by Adrian Sherwood in 1989 for RoughTrade. As second track on the EP is Headman's unreleased High Pressure Days Dub by The Units. In 2009 the Original was release digital and on Vinyl via Relish with a remixes by Rory Phillips and Headman. The Units were a cornerstone of this unofficial movement, later called "synth punk" and which would come to define a greater west coast DIY culture combining new synthetic sounds, ranging from Nervous Gender, Screamers and Monitor, to The Blackouts. High Pressure Days is a testament to the loneliness and urgency of the times, and one of synthpunk's greatest anthems while at the same time becoming a dancefloor classic among dj's like Danielle Baldelli. Next up is the Red Axes remix of their all time favorite track No G.D.X. by Gina X. They say it was something very special for them, as the track means a lot to them. Headman's 2003 Dub is the final track on the EP and it was released originally by Hell's Gigolo records. Released in autumn 1979, No G.D.M. slowly took hold with disparate audiences worldwide, and remains a classic to this day. Sometimes the man-machine is a woman... or is it It's hard to tell in the twilight world of Gina X Performance ithe collaboration of singer/lyricist Gina Kikoine and producer/multi-instrumentalist Zeus B. Heldiconfounded the norms. Their songs blur genders and sexual preferences; rouge covers stubble and women morph into men. No G.D.M." became a staple of Rusty Egan's playlist at Blitz, the epicentre of London's fashionable nightclub scene. Groundbreaking in its choice of sounds, subject matter and visual presentation, Gina X Performance anticipated the betterknown achievements of countless peers: the sleazy electro-noir of Soft Cell; the androgynous stance of Annie Lennox and Grace Jones & Laurie Anderson's marriage of electronic pop with performance art. The entire "electroclash" movement at the turn of the 21st century owed a debt to GXP with Miss Kittin & The Hacker topping the list and it also anticipated the UK synthpop boom of Human League and Depeche Mode by a couple of years

If archetypal rock music claims - Satisfaction' then the rhythmachine requieres emotion' wrote Kodwo Eshun in his 1998 book - More Brilliant Than The Sun: Adventures in Sonic Fiction.' Today, almost ten years later, his theory is still correct, and it shows that his idea is explosive when the rhythmachine is programmed against the common sense. Steven Ford aka Bruno Pronsato knows all of this, because he knows rock music and its creative dead end street. He knows because he played in several rock bands in his hometown of Seattle, trying time and again to play the same songs, and the same rhythms in new ways. But that's a long time ago. Now, more than five years later, he generates music via synthezisers and computers - emotional rhythms far beyond any kind of cliché. His new longplayer - Why can't we be like us' embodies his old passion for playing the drums as well as his addiction to ones and zeros. Instead of creating streamlined minimal, he has more of an abstract sound on his mind - one that lives on a dark, organic and percussive note. Nothing really new, he has always been unpredictable and funky with an organic twist between the beats. His tracks often rely on devious turns, flickering sounds, warm basslines and some free riding vocals. They still do, but more importantly now, they are more musical, more space filling and above all, much more percussive. His intention here is to provide you with a long player - not a compilation of danceable clubtracks. He wants to tell a story and he does it with nine long, grooving compositions that are full of rhythms that twist around bubbling sounds that seem to launch out of his very own inner space: sometimes a piano melody is dancing in space, then an undefinable vibrancy chirps out of the background, and in the next moment some unheared buzzing sighs in time and space. Pavel Iudin - Waxology Ep
PFRWAX002
Poker Flat Recordings
12inch07.12.201507.DEC.15

HouseDeepTechVinyl Only

Poker Flat continue their welcome foray into vinyl-only releases - following Kindimmer's fine Wax Substance EP - with four deep morsels from Pavel Iudin (or Paul Yudin, as he's occasionally known in anglophone circles.) Now respected resident at St. Petersburg's Stackenschneider club, Iudin has developed a real feel for deep, dubby dancefloor-oriented tech house. And Waxology is no exception. The title track is a luxurious meditation - layered, thoughtful with subtle builds and shifts. This is precision-engineered deep house, fine-tuned to send you into head-nodding ecstasy. A 'Tokamak' - for those who don't know - is a kind of experimental, Russian doughnut designed to confine plasma for nuclear fusion. In other words, it's futuristic, profound and utterly enveloping - which is exactly what Iudin delivers on this circling, bubbling groove. Meanwhile, the dubby foundation of 'Anchor' is contrasted by echoing chimes, crisp percussion and shimmering timbres that whizz in and out of earshot, while 'Charmel' is deeper still, a booming kick married to a sinuous bassline to fashion a heavy dancefloor stomper.

Sven Tasnadi - All In 2x12"
MHRLP019
Moon Harbour
excl27.05.201527.MAY.15

HouseDeepMinimalTech

Moon Harbour is proud to announce the imminent arrival of a new artist album from one of its core members.
Sven Tasnadi's 12 track long player All In will be released in spring 2015 and is a second full length statement
from one of the scene's most consistently on form producers.

Long time deep house and tech producer Sven, who hails from Leipzig, Germany, has been perfecting his own
seductive and atmospheric sound for almost a decade on labels like Cocoon, Smallville, Cargo Edition and of
course Moon Harbour. This album is his second after an electronica effort called Slow that featured more non
dance floor focussed tracks.

After my last album I wanted to make one for the dance floor,' says Sven. I had the idea only to produce pieces
that fit into my sets. I do not just like peak time, but also warm up beats, so I really wanted quieter pieces that you
can play at the appropriate time and that aren't too demanding. Hence the name All In... it is great for any time
and situation.'

The album is a cross-section of Sven's work from the last eight years style-wise, even though it was written in the
last six months using an Electron Octatrack, NI Maschine and Ableton. Things open up in deep and smoky dub
house fashion with 'Until The End' and then slowly build through the kinetic rubbery kicks of 'Silent Floors', the
bendy synths and curious melodies of 'No Laws' and the lazy, low-slung and lo-fi house funk of 'Sleeping Dogs.'
Cuts like 'Keep Rolling' with their rattling percussion and jazzy chords feel both musical but groove driven, 'I Like
You' proves Sven has a sample friendly playful side and then 'Clocks' gets a little more pumped up and bouncy
as the mid point arrives.

Wisely varying textures and tempos as he goes, 'Eighteen' then gets dark and deep, 'The Holy Grail' explores
more minimal sound design, 'This Girl' speaks of a classic house influence with its cleverly filtered vocals and oh
so nimble bass, then 'Rest' gets all spooky and syrupy with it ghostly coos and slithering rhythms. Closing down
the journeyed LP in style is the mystical and infectious 'Cosmic Flight' with its feathery drums and off kilter
melodies.

All in all this album is a complete and perfectly realised world that lays out Sven's trademark sounds in all their
glory. Deep and meaningful, danceable but equally as good just to listen to, All In is another fine success for both
artist and label.

HouseDeepBeatsLounge

Young producer from Amiens, Duns Scott first fell in love with rock and post rock. It's after coming across the music of Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin and other Warp artists, that he starts delving into the many subgenres of electronic music. Eventually, he becomes a proper record digger of Jazz, Funk and Disco, which will deeply affect his music writing. Neidio' is the outcome of a mixture of influences, each tune with its own idiosyncratic sound and story. Timelanding' was drafted as if a real studio session with actual musicians was happening, the jazz vocal samples try to instate the synergy of musicians interacting with each other. Neij' is the imaginary soundtrack of a dream inspired by the art cover of the EP. Mixed by Duns Scott / Masterized by Sven Weisemann.

MONDO DISKO club has been, for over the past 16 years, the flagship for discerning electronic music lovers and dancers in Madrid. With a loyal and enthusiastic crowd and a booking policy that combines a selection of solid resident djs alongside a list of high quality international artists, creating a record label seemed to be the most reasonable step to follow..

MONDO DISCOS is born as an extension of the club, with the sole intention of bringing to light musical projects that excite us, projects with which we feel particularly identified.

For our first reference, which we found particularly important as it will set the tone, we have a very special and mysterious proposal called MENTHO. This is the brand-new side project of a well known house duo that wishes to remain anonymous for now, and wanted to dig deeper into their more experimental side

Teo's Sock consists basicaly on a mix of electronic, experimental music, halfway between mental electronic vibes and instropected techno. Polirithmic and intrincate patterns with an afro sounding background, deep and moody synth work and an overall endless melodic vibe.

Be a Better Man is Situation's first outing on Situationism with new vocalist to the fold Andre Espeut bringing his unique vocal & song writing talents sparking an exciting collaboration with Situation's collective. After the successful "Get to Know Me" release on Nang late last year this is the 2nd release Situation have had with Andre & there is much more to come!5 reasons bring us a funky filter drenched dancefloor pleaser in their inimitable style! The combination of their new style deep house with a sprinkling of nu disco & big production shows us again the talent that is 5 Reasons. The winning combination of Greg Wilson & Derek Kaye on the remix has delivered another beautiful deep dance floor winner! This heavy synth drenched groove has electro piano lines reminiscent of late 80's jams with a dubbed out breakdown before launching back into a bumping instrumental section to finish.
Californian West coast producer Juan Hoerni brings us his distinctive Latin house vibes with incredible flute & trumpet playing by David Soto from Puerto Rico, creating an infectious Hispanic house killer!Ourra take us on their 80's boogie down journey, keeping the vocals raw & cleverly cut up in snippets with a great driving bass groove that kicks with the snappy drums & percussion. Covered in 80's synths, this is a serious slice of boogie action!

Having made a nice splash for himself with his recent outing on Delusions of Grandeur and recent string of quality releases on his own imprint, Shadeleaf, we are proud to welcome in thatmanmonkz for our next release on Kolour LTD. He serves up three immense cuts of deep, underground rhythms with that infamous "touch of soul" that is quickly becoming his own trademark. Remix duties were laid upon someone we've had our eye on for quite some time now - Glenn Astro. His unique musical vision & precise execution is on full display with his remix of "Remember" and the end result speaks for itself. Needless to say we're very excited to have him in! Altogether it's an exceptional package of tunes more than worthy for the 16th slot in our Kolour LTD catalogue!

'Cool EP, maybe not my kind of style but I like Busted (Debukas remix) and the track from The Son(s) make me think a little bit of a Trentemøller track, good atmosphere :)' (Sovnger - Paris/Europe)
'I like it! Debukas remix is brilliant tune, very groovy. We included it on our monthly Last Robots chart mix. I will play it on my Saturday radio show. I already played it on my show, I also played and I like original version, the one that was digital bonus - it's very good track. I also play both in clubs and they work very well.' (DJ Bert, Warsaw)
'Thank you very much, such a great release! Really love Leonidas & Hobbes and Debukas remixes!' (Dimitri Veimar - Germany/Europe)
'Amstrad/Debukas - Fantastic, been playing it out to great reaction' (Yogi Haughton, Scottish Soulful Weekender/Solar Radio - Scotland, UK)
'Lots of really good stuff here! Really like the Debukas remix (amazing robo-funk groove) both the Craig Smith remix (so so deep, love it) and dub (useful tool), the remix of Slow & Easy (great slow jam for downtempo sets) and the original Am$trad Billionaire (love that 80's electro disco feel). Will be using in warm-ups in Sheffield and Leeds and the slower stuff at any outdoors summery things. Really good EP' (Geoff Ticehurst - The Plug/Sheffield, Leeds Uni)
'Really loving all of this EP. Another winner from you lot!' (Teamy Teamy, Wrong Island - LDN/Glasgow)
'Solid release as ever. The infectious 'Busted' is probably my fav with echoes of Tiger & Woods and 80s boogie. I look forward to playing it out. Got to give a nod to the Leonidas & Hobbes and Craig Smith remixes for lush Balearic vibes. A release with its finger very much on the pulse of underground Scotland and all its forms. Excellent.' (Kris Wasabi/Wasabi Disco - Edinburgh)
'Thanks for these. Great energy on the Debukas remix and I love the vibe/wonk of Joe Howe's remix!' (Barry Fell / B-Jam - Edinburgh)
'This is ace... Again, such diversity on here... From the catchy as hell hooks on Debukas' remix to Leonidas & Hobbes remix of Slow & Easy, which is just pure ethereal dubby loveliness. Kinda brings to mind Weatherall's production of Beth Orton in the way that it balances acoustic and electronic elements. Craig's remix is chunky and really warm as well - a really solid package' (Jacksonville - 20:20 Vision - UK/Europe)
'Yeah, loving it.' (Larry Tee, NYC/LDN)
'Nice. ;o)' (Ben Osborne - Slipped Disco/Noise Of Art, LDN)
'Loving HM005, played the Debukas mix on my radio show last week and will probably spin another tune on this week's show' (Paddy Freeform, Universal Vibes - LDN)
'Debukas Remix - cracking bit of kit, will 100% be getting some rotation in my sets - nice strong groove to it. Craig Smith mixes - all useful slates. The Sons - actually really liking this one, got a really Balearic feel to it for me - kinda thing you'd be hearing on some beach as the sun comes up ;)' (David Elders, Solar Radio - Edinburgh).

HouseDeepMinimalTech

Black Venison returns with their debut artist VRRS for the 5th release in the catalogue. The A side opens up with 'Brique' a crunching techno roller with a rave vocal straight out of the early 90s. Hungarian producer 'S.Olbricht' turns in a jungle inspired remix of 'Brique', chopped break and vocals are the order of the day. On the flip side we VRRS explores more housey territory first with 'Innerside, a pitched swinger and second with Gonnaarp a bouncy lo-fi take of a classic house aesthetic.
