His remix is a stripped down and dark techno cut with a rolling bassline and tight claps. Very different from the original but yet oh so funky!

Die in Brasilien geborene, in Köln aufgewachsene und in Berlin lebende Künstlerin Dominique Dillon de Byington alias DILLON hatte immer eine klare Vision ihrer Kunst. Zwei Alben hat sie bereits veröffentlich. Für sie selbst sind beide eigentlich eins, denn sie erzählen eine zusammenhängende Geschichte. Live war dies stets spürbar, denn die dunkel melodischen Songs beider Alben bestimmten im magischen Wechselspiel ihre Shows. Als sie 2015 vom Berliner Foreign Affairs Festival gebeten wurde, ein einmaliges Konzert zu entwickeln, entschied sie sich für eine Performance mit einem sechzehnköpfigen Frauenchor, der sie und ihr Kollaborateur und Co-Produzent ihrer ersten beiden Alben, Tamer Fahri Özgönenc im Juli 2015 live im Haus der Berliner Festspiele begleitete. - Ich hatte das Bedürfnis mit Stimmen zu arbeiten und eine weitere Ebene zu kreieren, die zwischen der Elektronik und mir atmet. Das hat mich sehr gereizt, und so haben Tamer und ich gemeinsam den Chor geschrieben und arrangiert.' offenbart Dillon. Der Chor impft ihrer von Klavier und elektronischen Sounds getragenen Musik eine neue körperliche Ebene ein, zwischen der ihre Stimme sehnsüchtig tanzt. Koban is a young duo hailing from Vancouver, Canada. They had their first album out on Broadway To Boundary back in 2013 but it really was their 2014s EP on Weyrd Son that got our attention.
Now their second full-length is ready and with it Koban achieved to extend and improve the great results of their previous Vide EP.

We are proud to introduce you our release number six, this is our first Various Artists featuring the cream of the crop in the spanish techno scene. Chords are the main component in this four tracks, deep techno is the style and the makers are Architectural, UnCUT, Eduardo de La Calle and The Transhumans.

Opening A side, Architectural kicks in with Lightning Conductor, a sonic journey thru the deepest side of techno, solid kick drum and hipnotic sequences
are joined by lush and liquid chords and pads that evolve and change constantly during the arrangement creating a dynamic piece of intelligent music as only Juan Rico can make.

On the second cut, the misterious duo UnCUT provide one of their deepest exercises with Deviant, fat kicks again, solid chords, sharp percussions and melodic pads all arranged on a complex timeline that constantly moves and changes.

On B side, Eduardo de la Calle provides an alogue rythm fuelled chord odissey on Under Divinity Laws, as always with this producer, rawness and deepness join together in harmony with a solid step into tradition.

Closing the release, another hidden duo, The Transhumans, sign Food for Silicon Beings, A solid rhythm beat for starting soon joined by subbass frequencies, pads and of course chords, effected and twisted wisely on a complex arrangement.

Clandestino are a trio of Leeds based DJs who have been involved in the city's underground music scene for over 15 years, regularly throwing diverse parties and bringing exciting new DJ talent to town. Their visionary booking policy saw them invite Erol Alkan, Tim Sweeney, Simian Mobile Disco, Todd Terje, Optimo and Joakim to Leeds long before they became the established acts they are today. Their sound takes in influences from the glory days of Acid House, the melodic elements of Balearica and the energy of Disco, while always being focused at the dance floor.
After a busy year in 2015 producing and remixing tracks on Manchester's EL Diablo's Social Club, an EP for Rothmans Music, an exclusive track for Yam Who's Midnight Riot compilation, and a brace of releases on Is it Balearic & Youth's Nein Records imprint, it was time to start up their long awaiting label.

CLAN001 is a sampler of carefully selected artists that reflects the ethos of the label. On the A side is 'Wonder', our collaboration with Private Agenda who contribute a beautiful male vocal and melody line resulting in our most 'pop' sounding production to date. Pleased to welcome A Vision Of Panorama to the record on A2 who's 'Pastel Beach' is a breezy, tropical inspired rhythm to herald the sound of summer. On the flip side for B1 we have Bird of Paradise with 'Boys of Brass', an edgier club focused sound aimed at late-night dance floors. 'Sabato in pineta' is a track written by these 3 guys (Cosimo Colella, Fabio Liuzzi, Carmine Mongelli) after a great party between the woods of their favorite club, sound department. They capture the feelings and the emotions and write this track in few hours. The emotional impact is really strong, with a great work on surreal pads and trippy synths. The listener can be projected into the atmosphere of the club, but this is sure not only a dancefloor oriented work. Andres, with his version, give us a great remix, with his usual amazing use of drums and deep and reminiscent pads. Fabio della Torre finish the ep with an high quality dub version, more raw and intense on the grooves.

Mana All Nite is another imprint of DJ duo MANAMANA. Next to their artist focused label KANN they are going to establish a new vinyl platform. Mana#2 comes from Leipzig based Perm and New Orleans located Spirituals - two pretty outstanding producers - who serve three different hypnotic vodoo-house bangers.

Dani Siciliano's latest album is self-titled for a reason; it represents a personal statement crafted by Dani's own hand - feeding off her accomplished past in experimental pop and electronica and reaching to new tones and timbres in a celebration of musical liberation. Culminating eight years of songwriting, production research and sonic exploration, Circus Company is proud to present Dani Siciliano's third solo album. Following her two previous solo LPs Likes...(2004) and Slappers(2007), Dani decided to focus on crafting as much of the album by herself as possible, working with just a few select musicians to round out her creative vision. As ever her captivating voice remains centre stage, and you can hear echoes of her earlier work with the likes of Herbert, The Soft Pink Truth, and Brooks tucked away amongst the folds of diverse instrumentation, but this is a record that sounds very much like its own beast. It's an album of love and unabashed soul that reaches enthusiastically to all the sounds that hold the greatest appeal to Dani. What strikes most about her latest creation is the way the production instinctively frames the narrative of her lyrics, neatly demonstrating the unfettered vision she has been able to realise on this project. The fifth release contains more rare tracks from the Trax catalogue. The a-side features two mixes of the little known Gwendolyn track, which originally came out on Precision Records. This early vocal (house) gem was produced by Vince Lawrence and Jessie Saunders. It comes in two versions. A more straight forward original and a more dubbed out version by Farley Jackmaster Funk. A real treat. Side B features another early 80s Chicago track, again by Vince Lawrence and Jessie Saunders aka Z-Factor featuring Screaming Rachel. Classic Chicago house tracks.

What can be said about Dance Mania Simply put, some of the rawest, most jacking HOUSE music ever committed to wax has come out on the Chicago label. "Work It!" from 1994, courtesy of the mighty Parris Mitchell & RJ Hall is slamming, an update of Steve Poindexter's classic "Work That M*therfucker" but done Dance Mania style! Heavyweight stuff. Pair this with "It's Alright" on the flip, which takes a deeper turn and you've got am essential 12" dug deep from within the vaults. This one is rare too! Now it's here again, remastered and reissued with the full consent of Mr.Mitchell too, what's messing with that Essential Chicago business!

Finally, Varied releases its eighth EP, a tribute to House music with an A side track by Cologne based artist Pfeiffer, also known as a resident of the rheinrhythmik collective, and a B side track made by the label co-owners Ordinary Subject

With the much-acclaimed EASIER EP (KOMPAKT 318), rising Dutch duo WEVAL presented an obscenely masterful label debut, dropping four intriguing tracks, but one fully-formed vision of their sound. The young producers' massive amount of talent couldn't help but manifest itself in incredibly catchy arrangements perfused with rarefied pop magic - a stunt they pull again on IT'LL BE JUST FINE / GROW UP, featuring two glistening cuts that marry serious beat science with heartfelt lyrics and soaring melodies.

Hlanganani Music proudly presents its second release from young fast-rising producer Deep Sixty. Although his name is little known outside of Soweto and Johannesburg, already Thabiso Mamogwa has shown the determination to reach beyond his immediate world and make his musical message heard. In 2010 he made it to London to take part in the Red Bull Music Academy, which is when the HLANG team first heard the tracks that make up the Mme Hayo EP. From the same momentous trip, Mamogwa managed to get into a studio with Todd Osborn (a.k.a. Osborne, Soundmurderer), resulting in the "Thursday Nights" track which Mamogwa has self-released.
The purpose of Hlanganani is to provide a channel for the talented producers of South Africa to present their craft beyond the limited reach of their own country, opening their music up to collaboration and cultural crossover in the process. With his tenacious attitude and distinctive fusion of African traditions and contemporary techno influences, Mamogwa represents the perfect example of what the label is striving for, hence they waited five years to be able to release Mme Hayo.

Ferro's first full EP for Infuse finds the Dutch native in fine form with his 'You Are Not Your Mind' EP.
Weaving together intricate rhythms with his honed technical approach the tracks have a distinctly organic feel, equally pleasing at home or in the midst of a hazy dance floor.

Moda Black's Little Black Book series was inspired by the desire for a new, more diverse, more personal platform for artists to express themselves. An album, remix album, compilation, mix series, autobiography and photo-book all rolled into one - a chance for artists to reveal a wealth of new material, whilst also dipping into their back-catalogue and allowing it to be re-imagined by new artists. The Little Black Book gets inside the artists' minds and looks to the future and what's to come.

For the second edition of Little Black Book, the reigns have been handed to the prolific and much loved Groove Armada. From early inspiration courtesy of 90's rave collective DiY to the worldwide success of six albums, long summers in Ibiza and global live tours - with such a storied history, it's hard to image where they'd even begin with a project like this. The boys brought the curtain down on their live tours at Brixton in 2010 because they wanted to go back to basics, House music and the warehouses where GA started - cue a series of releases on labels from Hypercolour to Hot Creations.

The mix on CD1 Groove Armada seven new original pieces of music as part of a 77 minute journey that also includes Tony Allen, Candi Staton, re-edits of a host of GA classics and their rework of Arthur Baker anthem, Rockers Revenge.

The second disc then sees 12 excellent producers redefine classic Groove Armada records, resulting in some spectacular new versions of tracks like 'Love Sweet Sound', 'Superstylin', 'Chicago' and 'I See You Baby' from the likes of Kolsch, andhim, Huxley, Jaymo& Andy George, JorisVoorn, PillowTalk, Emperor Machine, Marco Faraone, Chaim, Hauswerks, Walker & Royce and wAFF.

Included in the special notebook version of the release is Andy Cato's account of the GA journey from Castlemorton to L.A too - one that has taken them right back to the start. "People were saying if you're going to write new material you need to put it out on a major, get the band back together, unleash the machine. But we don't want to do that. We want to play and make house music, and that's all'.

Khruangbin are a three-piece band from Texas, formed of Laura Lee on bass, Mark Speer on guitar, and Donald Johnson on drums. Taking influence from 1960's Thai funk - their name literally translates to "Engine Fly" in Thai - Khruangbin is steeped in the bass heavy, psychedelic sound of their inspiration, Tarantino soundtracks and surf-rock cool.
Khruangbin team up with Boogiefuturo, the off shoot label of Bristol based Futureboogie Recordings, with a special collaborative 12" disc featuring remixes from a veritable line up of cutting edge producers. Session Victim, DJ Milo, Maribou State and Vuelo all come correct with re-workings of Khruangbin originals that, collectively, make up for one of the most varied and interesting remix packages of the year.
Pressed on 12" vinyl, hand stamped and including an A4 art illustration insert, with hand drawings from Laura from Khruangbin, this package come as a limited pressing.

Oshana returns to us with the Multiverse EP, it's an undeniable thrill to see how our girl from NYC has evolved over time. The tough, sure-footed approach on both tracks here suggests a more techno-flavoured influence coming to bear on Oshana's studio work, and she makes the style all her own. From the warm, pad-enriched swell of Rashomon Theory' to the bass-driven sass of Voyager', this is Oshana at her most confident and dynamic, and we're thrilled to be sharing it

The last few years has seen Parris make a name for himself across a number of scenes, to the extent he is just as likely to be found spinning records for Butterz as he is putting records out on Berceuse Heroique. Here at Idle Hands we first touched base with Parris many moons ago when he bought copies of the first release on his Soundman Chronicles label into our shop. As it is one of our favourite labels we were intrigued to hear what he would come up with as producer himself. Needless to say we were impressed. Presented here are two tracks that perfectly reflect his sound and our own, A nod to techno here, a weighty bass line there, a love of reverb everywhere and all with a view to being played in dark rooms late at night.

The 12" of 'Burr' and 'Blue' is Idle Hands last release of 2015 and we think it rounds off nicely what has been a great year for the label.
