Maxim Lany has been with the label since the very beginning back in november 2011. With two tracks on the first two compilations he helped setting the label's tone. And now, Maxim is back. And he brought his friends. First up on this EP is the track "Your Number" he made with Ante Perry from Kitball and Still Vor Talent. Result of their cooperation is an amazing deep house journey with an extremely wooly break. What's not to like The second track, on the B-side of the EP is the result of spending hours in the studio together with Maxim's Antwerp based friend Katorski with nothing but tea and sushi. Traag is Dutch for slow, you'll hear why!

Warren Raww gives you Ross: exotic sounds of the south for you to get down low when you feelin' high. Four tracks of sloshed up, dance floor equipment broadcast from a busted car stereo via the depths of some hallucinatory jungle rave up.

A dream team if ever there was one, 'Kid Fonque' and rising star 'DJ Whisky' have crafted a seductive, richly-textured composition which songbird 'Zaki Ibrahim' has taken to sublime heights. 'Be' is a afro-tinged, drum-driven deep house number that is guaranteed to inspire some arm-raising, hip swaying dancefloor action. Showcasing the enthralling vocals that only she is capable of - Zaki's intimate conversation draws you into a hypnotic realm of rhythm before expanding into a breathtaking ballad.

'2sides' is a magical blend of everything that Kid Fonque is loved for: broken beats, house, jazziness and a hint of hip hop. An elegant piano loop dances on a warm bass drum - then a bass melody creeps in. Now we're on the dancefloor. Clever, intricate percussive elements evoke the hum of a smoky Jazz club - hands clap and hi-hats snap. Just when you think this groove has reached its final destination - The Layders' king of keys - 'V The Vowel' lays down an infectious melody and the script is flipped. The cherry on top

'Theo Parrish' talking you through his DJ philosophy. It's fresh and full of surprises - your new favourite tune has arrived. The first of the 'Be' remixes is provided by deep house stalwart, 'Atjazz' and South African production prodigy 'Jullian Gomes' - a pair who frequently team up for in-studio experimentation and artistry. Cloaked in a steady groove, their remix bubbles with warmth and charm. Driving drums are layered with sun-baked chords before Zaki's celestial vocals cast their spell. Infectiously spirited and intense, this mix will find itself at home on deeper dancefloors. London's 'Jonny Miller' has cooked up a bassy masterpiece that defies categorisation. Bold, brutal and mesmerizing - this heavyrolling excursion into deeper frequencies flaunts his production prowess and gives a nod to his broken beat and bass roots at the same time. Wobble and wallop in equal measure - a house/bass hybrid that demands a rewind.

It's only been a few months since Earth Boys touched down with their debut EP on 1080p, Welcome 2 Earth. Their second release via 2MR, Feel The Rhythm, showcases their production skills, and features a deeper, all-encompassing groove that fills yours brain and moves your body. More than anything, Earth Boys' music is about having a good time. The duo is Julian from the Sisterjam collective in Brooklyn, and Michael Sherburn from ground-breaking New York techno live act DUST. Each track is constructed in a deep haze - vintage house, smooth jazz and breakbeats - and compiles moody vocals and analog gear to create their signature, tongue-in-cheek sound. While the first EP on 1080p delivered a range of upbeat melodies and catchy hooks, Feel The Rhythm explores a low-end, hypnotic vibe throughout all five tracks. The title track gets an internal re- work at the end, with Feel The Rhythm (Dark Room Mix)' evoking chill-inducing bass beats that nod back to some of Detroit's most influential underground moments. On the lighter side is You Were Mine,' with uplifting syncopation, but still as thick and engaging as the heavier tunes on this EP.

After rearranging our brains, and dance floors, with his Displacement LP on Rush Hour back in 2011, no stone went unturned in our efforts to find out just who was behind the Nebraska project. That search culminated last year with us pressing up his Stand Your Ground 12", and now, the London-based producer is back on Mister Saturday Night Records with the new three-track, sample-heavy EP, Look What You've Done To Me. The title track is a lush, deep house roller based around some balmy Rhodes chords and an infectiously bumping baseline, while the tunes on either side of that borrow as much from the skippy, spirited disco of last year's "Emotional Rescue" as they do from the more graceful end of the dub techno spectrum. There's something for pretty much every hour of the party here.

Atomium strikes back with a new collaboration between two Belgian artists.
Nirukad from Lemakuhlar and Atomium's founder Pipo Vitch deliver an electronic gem EP.
Phases is a two tracks EP that will make you take a trip around the different sides of
electronic music.

On the A-side, Phase#1 is the edited version of a live jam between the two artists, which
focuses on some dancefloor actions. With Phase#2, the two artists drop an hypnotic
anthem perfectly suited for the late morning sessions.

Released on vinyl only! Grab your copy before they're all gone.

The newest installment of Haunt Music comes from the hands of label
ounder himself Mike Shannon, by way of collaboration with DeWalta
and featuring certain ivory-tickler extraordinaire, Mister Danuel Tate.
Cruise Ship is a smooth, jazzy number with an impossibly catchy hook
hat serves as the foreground to an über cool sax -played by DeWalta
himself-. Enter stage right a very serious piano that slowly begins to
bubble alongside the mythical Serge modular, taking the track into
unkier, more conceptual terrain. In short, this is one ship that could as
easily disembark on the beach or at a sweaty basement full of cool kids
wearing Clubmasters.
On the flipside, Double Booked starts with a cartoon-reminiscent burst
before a chubby kick leads it down another path of chill bass lines and
azzy drums. The Serge modular comes back to smooth the whole thing
over with a layer of funky.

Since Fabrikate first emerged with a remix of The Weeknd's Often in 2014, the duo has showcased a variety of influences on productions ranging from traditional Deep House to sounds reminiscent of the L.A. Bass House scene. Despite rising success, Fabrikate retain their anonymity, hidden behind minimalist masks when on stage or behind the camera. In contrast to the vibrant aesthetic that permeates their overall image, the duo remains stoic and silent, taking a shadowy step into the background so their music can truly take centre stage.

A bit of funky, jazz, electro-pop, blues, ambient. A full of sounds album, rich in different musical influences, brought together by a common thread: deep house galore for your mind. Formix is a Neapolitan producer and he really rocks with this impressive release. "Run" into many genres, to a multi ethnic world, led by so much creativity and talent. The attractive groove in "Run", the old-fashioned electronic rhythm of "So What", by way of "Slow" and his soul shape. The deep vibe of Sensual Trip feat. Gastek. "Evolution" is the way! A groovalicious track that amazes the listener; a real sensitive club tune. The remix made by GuyDee is the right answer to the original mix, a tasty manner to recreate the same vibes. Not to mention the remix of "Another Journey" Formix feat. Lello Di Franco aka L D F made by The Legendary 1979 Orchestra or the hypnotic pads of the British artist OOFT! Music! "Run" remix. "Just because a records got a groove doesn't mean it's in the groove". "Run" album does both.

Just ahead of a landmark 50th EP release, Catz 'N Dogz's Pets Recordings turn to Johan Cederberg aka HNNY for a special five track release that very much invites us deep into the off kilter world of the revered Swedish producer. Before now HNNY - preferably pronounced 'honey' - has won himself many fans with curious and quirky releases on labels including Studio Barnhus, Let's Play House and Local Talk. Producing house but with a charming sense of melody, a great ear for a sample and an irresistible sense of groove, he is a firm DJ and dancer favourite all across Europe, and for good reason. Opening the EP is 'Happy Happy House House', a lazy, beachy cut awash with sun-kissed melody and trip hop grooves. Swaying gently to and fro, it's an immediately soothing track before 'Brasilian Sound' is as Latin as you would expect from the title: it's a percussive, summery, atmospheric jaunt though up-tempo and feel-good house that's littered with distant whistles, the sound of kids playing in the park and a variety of loveable instruments. 'Fresh Laundry' then drops into a much slower and more purposeful groove - stoned drums and a distant bassline unfold lazily before big wind instruments begin tooting up top. It's human, imperfect and full of keys that imbue it with the joys of spring. On the flip, 'Fruktstund' is another adult lullaby with colourful, cartoony instrumentals, angular grooves and plenty of organic textures, whilst closer 'Yogalates' is much the same with its big xylophones, joyous piano chords, rubbery kicks and generally disarming sense of playfulness. Spring is just round the corner but it feels so much closer with these enchanting new cuts from HNNY.

Slow Town Records has really picked up the pace this year, delivering essential 12" singles from Riccio and QX-I, amongst others. Here, they round of 2014 with an EP of positively edible deep house from Fouk man Hans Peeman. In typical Peeman fashion, there's plenty of soul to the liquid beats and rich chords of "Prologue", while "Monologue" is an attractive saunter through classic Detroit deep house with the restless energy of a Chicago production. MR K-S remixes the title track, delivering a heavily percussive version that sounds like a plea to head towards the dancefloor, pronto. A touch darker and altogether heavier, it offers an excellent alternative to Peeman's eyes-wide-shut original.

Miajica follows up on his "Second Spring" EP with two massive balearic anthems supported by remixes from Acid Pauli and Wareika.

There is a certain melancholy - yet highly optimistic - mood that Miajica likes to conjure throughout his more elaborate, more emotional tracks. The two originals on his suggestively titled 'I Forgot About Love' EP are probably the best examples in his discography so far of such an introspective mood. Both the Middle Eastern themed 'I Forgot About Love' and the dubby 'Au bord de l'eau' are deep and emotive, groovy and immersive long-play tracks, devised for that ideal club crowd that likes to indulge in the process, catching every audible detail.

Acid Pauli and Wareika contribute their own meticulous detail work, retouching the originals in surprising and sophisticated ways. Acid Pauli chisels the melody, rhythm and structure of the track and gives his 'I Forgot About Acid' remix a completely new pacing, creating a tangible world of distinct sounds and superb musical flow. Wareika take their original - already an Alma Negra dub - out of its comfort zone and rework it into an anthem by adding extra spatiousness, an honest, universally-applealing vocal hook and perfecting everything around the soothing melody with the help of their own instruments.

"I Forgot About Love" is the seventh 12" release within our collective of labels. Wareika's Vocal Dub of "Au bord de l'eau" will be available exclusively on the 12" release, while the instrumental version replaces it on the digital version.

This vinyl EP is a collaboration between Paris label CORRESPONDANT and Germany's GOMMA records. Remixes by Los Angeles' finest psychedelic electronic producer SECRET CIRCUIT (Beats in Space records) and German shooting star LAUER (partner of Gerd Janson at Tuff City Kids). Why this EP Gomma has a long history with the Paris scene. Mathias 'Munk' Modica who runs Gomma (and sublabel Toy Tonics) has been living in France for many years. He worked with many Parisian artists from DJ Chloe (on Munk's first album Aperitivo 2004) to the Ed Banger Crew or Black Strobe. Probably apart of Berlin there is no city in the world that saw more Gomma events than Paris. Seems only a project with Jennifer Cardini missed. So Jennifer invited Mathias last year to send over tracks. Decision was made fast. And so Wurlitzer Wank and The Bösus Bounce have come up on Correspondant.

Japan's leading techno artist YONENAGA has been so much influenced by Detroit Techno. He launched his own record label "SELECT KASHIWA RECORDS". Derrick May already played his new promo which consists of 3tracks. A1.room of glass and B1.Fairies in the forest are highly recommended. His gorgeous but a bit rueful sound must sticks into your heart!

finally repressed!
Long term friends Ramadanman and Midland partner up for their first joint EP ' 'Your Words Matter / More Than You Know' on Aus Music. Together they produce a truly innovative sound fusing the sounds and vibes of classic house and garage with the sub frequencies and aesthetics of dub step to create something completely fresh.

Volume two of a two-volume twelve-inch set featuring tunes from Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter's mix CD,Weekends and Beginnings. This volume features a neo-Chicago House masterpiece from Ike Release, a slice of classic Mister Sunday gospel house from Jasper Street Company, and Motor City Drum Ensemble's hypnotic rework of Caribou's "Leave House." The twelve was mastered by the ever extraordinary Matt Colton, and it sounds great!

cult Italo post-wave group CRISTALLI LIQUIDI are back with another 12" maxi single. This time the production was carried out by the godfather of Italian electronic music Alexander Robotnick with some mysterious intervention from Bottin. SCIAME (Italian for swarm) hits harder on the dancefloor then their previous releases, without losing a single drop of the italo lyrical magic.

STRINGS 001 comes to us from Oporto boys Fauvrelle & Serginho. The duo have really been making a name for themselves lately when they play b2b, so it was about time they have their ideas come together in the studio! They delivered 3 solid tracks and to complete this start up release we have invited our friend and La Vie En Rose owner Terence Terry for the remix duty!

Gabriele Carasco (The Code Studio Berlin) after his EP on Fasten and Amam, where he received numerous feedback from various artists including: Luciano, Radio Slave, Marco Carola, Agoria, Âme, etc, in 2014 he joined the catalog RoundQubeMusik. 3 deep tracks of its own kind. groovy and minimal , with a touch as a musician.

ince its inception in 2011, Moda Black has become one of the UK's most successful independent imprints, focusing on passionately produced, forward-thinking electronic music that covers a broad range of sounds. The acclaimed Moda Black album series is the labels sonic yearbook and has been responsible for unveiling some of the labels bigger records, as well as serving as a launch pad for white hot emerging artists.

For the fourth Moda Black album, the label focuses almost exclusively on it's own collective, delivering 11 brand new, previously unheard tracks and remixes. This sampler features Throwing Snow's remix of rising star Theo Kottis and the debut from brand new artist IDAMOS. On the flip both Huxley & Richy Ahmed deliver peak time remixes of Jaymo & Andy George and Walker & Royce.

For centuries, young wild boars have been denied of their right to gather freely and fall in love.Their military based rituals were designated to reinforce twisted ethical principles in the minds of the followers and were the only social interaction allowed.
A group of young infidels finally stopped fighting the urge and created a new ritual based on dancing, called Lambada.
This spiritual journey awoke the suppressed spirit of the wild boar and revealed the sincerely beautiful nature of this noble animal. Sadly, Lambada soon became known as the forbidden dance and all it's partakers were persecuted.
To this day, Lambada remains an underground ritual and the Legalize Lambada crew is on a quest to revive it by throwing disco parties and pressing undercover vinyl.
True infidels in the likes of Riccio and MikeBurns are sending us the first manifest! Legalize Lambada!

Chris "Bam Bam" Westbrook is one of the unsung heroes of Chicago House. His Westbrook label was responsible for releasing a slew of quality records from artists like Armando & Mike Dunn as well as his own productions.

One record that mysteriously never officially came out on the label was "Hot Spot" from 1987, never making it past White label stage. Here, for the very first time, "Hot Spot" finally gets a full release boasting all 4 alternate mixes of the track by the man himself.

Suggestive lyrics, chattering drum machine rhythms and uplifting pianos in the classic raw Chicago style are what makes "Hot Spot" a special re-issue. Harking back to a headier time, the record still slams hard today and shows contemporary producers how House music should really be done. A long lost, un-released nugget from the old school, re-mastered from the original DAT and officially released for the first time with original Westbrook label artwork in conjunction with Bam Bam / Westbrook Records, Chicago USA.

Released on Defected, 'No Doubt' is exemplary of South Africa's Cuebur's ability to construct the organic and cheerful sounds prominent within the flourishing South African house scene. Throughout the track is a blend of raw sounding percussion that when combined with Marrisa Guzman's delicate yet captivating voice results in a warm and leisurely anthem. On remix duties is the prestigious Shlomi Aber whose rendition still utilises Guzman's mesmerising vocals whilst making use of his signature techno elements to create a more innovative twist.

Vinyl release celbrating five years of Claap. Music by GummiHz, Nikola Gala and Kindimmer. The opening track by GummiHz, titled 'Paraphonic state', explores the beauty of paraphony. Produced solely by using a drum machine and a paraphonic synthesizer, the arrangement focuses on the bare essentials of a monster of a track! Moving between the lines of Detroit techno and minimalism, a sound that GummiHz is famous for. Next up is Nikola Gala with his updated version of 'Paradise'. The track first appeared as a tool on our third release back in 2011. For the five years of the label, Nikola found it appropriate to rework on the tool and turn it into a powerful track. Tight, dirty and raw! Upcoming talent Kindimmer has also become a strong part of our core since his first appearance on Claap. His track 'Everything looks yellow' is another excellent production by an artist who knows how to handle rough and smooth! A smooth melody locks over some solid drums that carry this 'rough' sound that has helped him build a strong reputation amongst fans of electronic music.

Reaching almost a decade of high-hitting productions, Jamie Jones unveils the mighty 'Siberian Express' on his own Hot Creations imprint. Featuring three distinct and varied tracks, this release sees Jamie at his best and proves once again why he is still riding high at the top.Title track 'Siberian Express' begins blissfully with a hypnotic melody that leads into a deep swelling bass, a forceful beat and intricate layers of warbling keys. An epic breakdown rises from grumbling synths culminating with Jamie's signature bassline and spacey stabs, as powerful builds fall in and out of play. On the flip, 'Captain Kirk's Battle Dance' is solid and rolls with infectious looped basslines that steers through trippy FX. On a darker tip, 'The 16th Floor' is rich and deep with mesmerising synths, layered throughout over a tight groove.
Undoubtedly the pioneer of the new wave of house music, Jamie Jones is a force to be reckoned with. Alongside running Hot Creations and sub-label Hot Trax, Jamie has also started his new label Emerald City, which will release music with a greater crossover appeal. 2015 has brought forward a huge output of music from Jamie including a stunning collaboration with Kate Simko, London Electronic Orchestra and Jem Cooke on Emerald City followed by the next huge hit from his band Hot Natured called 'Off World Lover'. Not to mention this impressive solo three tracker on Hot Creations.

Cornish acid dance pioneer, Luke Vibert, dusts off the old gladrags and revives his cherished Kerrier District moniker for a new album this year on Hypercolour.

Having already released an album last year (the audacious 303 tweakathon 'Ridmik', released under the Luke Vibert name), Vibert returns to the label with a 14 track album as Kerrier District. '4' will be the first Kerrier album since 2004's self titled long player for the legendary Rephlex label. Two singles also emerged from this project in 2006 and 2011, so it's a huge scoop for the British imprint and a welcome return for Vibert's disco and funk led project.

Digging into a huge pot of influence, and ably assisted with a trusty MPC, '4' is not surprisingly made up of a glorious collage of samples, old skool drum loops and large doses of acid funk and deep electronic disco, inspired in parts by the landmark 'Black Devil Disco Club' EP from 1978 that has since gone on to influence the music of many like minded producers (step forward Metro Area/Daniel Wang et al).

A scan through the track titles ('Treacle Tits' 'Discuntek') reveal an album filled with humour and mischievous intent, most definitely a trait of many of Vibert's past releases, but the music really is some serious business. From the album opener, 'Discogram', with its easy (listening) vibes and low slung groove, right the way through to the closing 'Come On Kerrier' with its frenzied synth work, deadly bass and incessant vocal stabs, the album is a Technicolor romp through feel good modern funk music as only Kerrier knows how. Drawing upon a wealth of incredible source material, playful beat programming and lush bass, '4' is an album that will quite possibly soundtrack the Summer of 2015 for many, many people.

Master C & J (Carl Bias & Jesse Jones) along with vocalist Liz Torres are counted among the most influencial artists to rise out of the mid/late Eighties Chicago House Music scene. Known for their singularly darkly sensuous and skeletal sound, their tracks captured and defined the late night, underground dancefloor experience; rhythm, sweat, sex.
Originally released in 1987, "Face It" is a deep moody Chicago house all time classic. Containing all 3 original mixes, "Face It" has been re released and re mastered for 2015 on conjunction with Trax Records.

UK producer Mavlin drops four poignant tracks on vinyl only imprint Krenta Records this February. Specialising in Chicago and Detroit inspired productions, Krenta Records is a fresh imprint with a lot of promise. The platform is hardware-focused, with its material composed of retro synths, drum machines, samples and outboards for a machine driven sound oozing with soul. 'Timeless Energy' uses clunky percussion and a moving melody to engineer a down tempo and emotional cut. 'Cycle' then rolls forward with undulating drums and soft synths, before 'Rise of Ai' demonstrates a moody chord sequence and fuzzy bassline. Tying it all together, 'The Valley Of Shadows' boasts a discernible hook, tranquil pads and serene keys in a mesmerising conclusion.

DisDat is the new brainchild of New York's infamous underground party, ReSolute. For their first release, they showcase three different sonic interpretations of their iconic warehouse mornings that stretch out far into the afternoon.Leading the release is S.A.M. (of Oscillat and Delpahine notoriety) with the aptly named "Brooklyn Nights" - a driving track made for the dancefloor, with its acid-tinged bassline complimented by S.A.M.'s trademark emotionality. French duo Zendid provide the pulsating "Ws3", whose scattered kick drum underlines euphoric and fluttering elements. Matthew Burton & Bangladesign, together as Mikisderek, bring the release to a close with the subtle and introspective "Sump1", as equally suited for the beginning of a night as the early morning after

We are so excited to present you 'The Infamous', the collaborative project between Bülent Gürler AKA Butch and C. Vogt ! Out in April on a limited promo coloured vinyl 10", the full release will follow later in the year.
When we have heard it for the first time at the Rebirth office we jumped on the table saying...wooow...this is an amazing piece of music !
An infectious tune, a combination between a subtle jazzy drum pattern, a driving bass line, strings and an irresistible rhodes theme, all played live. Something you would never stop to hear...generating tension and excitement at the same time !
The track shows the incredible ability of both producers...
With over 20 years consumed by a thirst for electronic music, Butch has released on leading imprints such as Desolat, Cocoon, Rekids, Sei Es Drum and beyond, while maintaining a solid DJ schedule that's seen him open the minds of crowds at Fabric, Time Warp and his residency at Berlin's Watergate.
He says 'I absorb influence and ideas from everywhere...so, as my music has many styles, I like to make different styles too'. It's true that with Butch, you never know what to expect, other than consistently sounding fresh and unique output.
'The Infamous' is the expression of Butch's attitude and the musical enthusiasm of C. Vogt, son of the violinist K.Vogt and a great musician, who started studying the piano and saxophone and rapidly entering walls of the world of electronic music !
